#how to explain that my parents are still cut out of my life #and for good reason #like i get it you want us all to be one big happy family #parents and children shouldnt fight etc etc #but consider: do you want to bridge that divide b/c its best for both parties? or b/c you feel like this is something that should happen?#my life has been considerably better since cutting both my parents out sooooooo 🤷#and from what shes told me dad is doing ok or at least a lot of the same #only mom has really turned and thats less 'boohoo i miss my kid' and more 'boohoo i dont know how to go out and socialize'#which like same but im not throwing myself a pity party about it #even if i was interested in talking to them again im still salty over getting some of my art back water damaged and covered in mildew #like the water damage w/e i could work with that #but actual fucking mildew #just hope i tossed it all before it spread #but yeah sure i feel missed #personal #delete later #maybe #and yes that is our father that text within a text is from she calls him that dont be weird about it #being weird about it is an insta block

I genuinely love not having a crush like I’m not over here feeling physically sick over some mid guy being dry to me I’m literally chilling

#Spring semester of last year was so bad bc I was unironically into 3 guys at once and they were all #Being dry and cryptic to me #And then before that in 2022 I had my horrid situationship #I had a mini obsession arc in dec 2023 over someone but now there hasn’t been anyone since #And my palette is so cleansed #When a girl is like I miss having a crush I’m like you’re literally a masochist #There was very briefly a girl I thought I had a crush on when I realized I’m bicurious but #I haven’t put effort into talking to her bc the idea of pursuing anyone makes me wanna claw my eyes out #I’m pretty sure I ghosted her by like just not responding to her last messsge actually #Not on purpose but more so bc I realized I was feeling the same anxiety I felt whenever I had a crush so I was like #Yeah I’m dropping this for now #I’m also always the most present for my friends when I don’t have a crush so idk #Like I don’t wanna be consumed by anyone I just wanna chill #The solution to not having normal attraction to people is just to not be attracted to anyone at all #I fr cracked it #I always just crave the butterflies out of it and never an actual relationship anyway #But they’re so not worth it #Which is why I always get bored of guys who’re forthright like oh ok you actually WANT something…. U don’t wanna just have fun #Not for me #I think the guys I’m into and I typically diverge in the sense that neither of us wants a relationship but they just wanna fuck me #And I more so just want the butterflies experience / to playact couple for like a couple months but nothing too serious #Which is why it never works #Like it’s not that it doesn’t work bc either of us wants a relationship it’s more that what we want out of the situationship is different #So lame #Ok this was a lot but I literally came to this epiphany while writing these tags

You KILLED HIM? You said you defeated him! I never taught you to KILL anyone! The good guys can't kill their enemies in this kid-friendly film! We never actually use the forbidden Wuxi finger hold on anyone! And he was my adopted son! I'll never ever get to see him again or get to hope that he'll repent and turn good!!

Po didn't kill Tai Lung in self defense. He wilfully executed the Wuxi finger hold on a weakened TL 🤯

Something about bsd abilities and trauma and also literature as escapism to face reality better. Something about Atsushi's fantasy being all about strength and self healing and a rampaging "beast beneath the moonlight" when reality forces him to rely on others to heal and emphasizes his empathy and "weakness." Something about Dazai's escapist fantasy and character trope as something "no longer human" when he actually is very much human. Something about Yosano's fantasy being a world where "thou shalt not die" when reality keeps making her face death. Something about Kunikida's desires to be a "lone poet" against the world with just him and his ideals realised when reality is full of people he can't abandon. Or Kenji escaping into a world where he is "undefeated by the rain" and putting his entire soul into living that dream out. Or Akutagawa being (philosophically) consumed by his "rashoumon" when reality shows he doesn't always have to devour and overtake....

Got dragged to two (2!!) parties and had to wait until I got home so I could stay up and finish this. So verrry tired.

ive never felt more rural than i have in the past few weeks since hanging out with a lad who has only ever lived in cities. what do you MEAN YOU'VE NEVER DONE A MORRIS DANCE

the bus seating capacity, the numbers that fell off into the streets after miles crashed into them, all those tiny lil details that followed him throughout his journey to becoming Spiderman
