it is.
quarter to three in the afternoon.
the only thing i drank today was a chocolate milk at seven in the morning.
head is aching.
there is nowt to drink in the car i'm in.

i don’t think true love is about whether or not it lasts forever, but more about how good it is in the present. We can never predict how circumstances are gonna change, but as long as we enjoy it in the now, it will always be true love

Character Creation Tip #2 - Trying out a New Trait
After you’ve found a few character traits you’re satisfied with, chose one of them and follow these steps:
Write a paragraph (6-8 sentences MAX)
Use ONLY actions / behaviors that show this trait (up to x4)
Use ONLY physical features that represent/symbolize/define or enhance this trait (up to x4)
DO NOT state the trait itself or any synonymous adjectives (i.e. if your trait is “friendly” then this word should not appear in your paragraph. Also avoid adjacent phrases or words like “makes friends easily” or “kind to people” or “outgoing”)
Read the passage aloud to a friend / have a friend read the passage themselves and check that they could determine the trait with just your paragraph as a resource (don’t help them out!)
If someone else can figure out what type of character you were going for (or close to it), then you’ve likely chosen precise descriptions. If not, then take note on what answers you received based on your traits and recognize what your descriptions actually show and try again until you get it right. This exercise is where your audience is key. They will be your best guide for understanding how your work is received, and how you can change it to approach your end goal.
To see how Jackie embodies his traits, send him an ask on here, Twitter or Instagram! And don’t forget to check him out in his debut novel: CALL ME CRAZY

what happens with achilles in your story if the Trojan war never happens?
I am so glad I saw this before I fell asleep (And thank you very much for the question!!)
The short answer is: Achilles (along with a few others like Diomedes and Odysseus) is one of Athena's champions and one of the leading generals in the combat against the creatures of Erebus! Each god has their favoured champions/heroes and each of those people play a key role in maintaining what little order is left in the world.
The long answer is: due to the whole 💫 completely impromptu, unplanned and unprophesied apocalyptic situation of the Divine Light of the World completely disappearing 💫 Hera, Athena and Aphrodite had to completely squash their argument started at Thetis' wedding because there was simply too much to do. Achilles, therefore, is set down a completely different path to immortal glory, same with many other familiar faces from the Iliad (and wider greek mythology). On the bright side, he still hates Agamemnon's guts considering Agamemnon, even in this world, is his direct superior. Likewise, he also still spends an inordinate amount of time getting banged by Patroclus (who is one of Ares' champions) despite the whole literal apocalypse occuring around them. So really, Achilles will always be Achilles 😀👍🏾

Beautiful things are like gentle birds:
Squeeze them too tight, and they slip away.
Like birds of passage, soon they'll be on their way,
Leaving myself behind, wingless and hurt.
I wore my heart out on my sleeve —
That sullen, sorry little thing
Was none but all I had to give
Of scared, and scarred, and scattered me.
She was a beautiful thing, and I let her go;
See, beautiful things don't last for me.
She was a beautiful thing, and I—
You were a beautiful thing, and I
Am not.
So I let you go.
Fly free.
Beautiful things, May 2020
