"Thalia, can we talk?" Captain Soren approached Thalia, the rogue clone towering above her small stature.

"Yeah, sure." Thalia sat down, pulling her shawl around her shoulders to better ward off the night's cold. "What's going on?"

"Ever since my wife died, I've felt this void in my chest." Soren said. "I've been trying to raise Camille on my own, but it's been hard, especially since she barely remembered me, after I was captured by the Empire for all those years. You're the only person who's made all this better for me."

Thalia had a feeling where this was going, and she didn't like it. "Yeah? I'm glad I can help."

"Thalia, I..." Soren took a deep breath. "I love you."

"That sucks." Thalia cringed.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult you." Soren bowed his head sheepishly. "I hope this doesn't make you too uncomfortable. I value our friendship more than anything."

"No, it's not that, Soren." Thalia shook her head. "I just... don't feel that way about anybody. Never have, never will. I'm perfectly happy to remain friends, and this doesn't change anything about our friendship, it's just... I don't love people. Not like that. I was disappointed because I knew I would have to break your heart, since I just don't feel those feelings for anyone."

"It's fine. I understand." Soren smiled. "Friends?"

Thalia grinned, shaking Soren's hand. "Friends."

"But seriously, beyond all that, I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you've done." Soren said. "Taking care of my daughter while I was recovering from the conditioning the Empire put me through, helping me with Cam while neither of us had any idea what we were doing... it means everything to me."

"You and your daughter mean a lot to me." Thalia smiled. "After losing Aurora, I didn't know if I could even handle being around children again, since she was basically my little sister in the Order. But with Camille, it feels like I can try again. Maybe this time, I can protect her from the people who want her dead, now that I know they're out there."

"Yeah, after Order 66, I lost myself. The chip in my head... I didn't even bother fighting it, since I thought that Cam had died with Lydia. When I found out she was alive..."

"You found the strength to fight back, right?" Thalia squeezed Soren's hand. "You and me both. You have a really special kid, Captain, and I'm not just talking about her making rocks float."

"I'm glad that what I said didn't push you away." Soren said.

"Yeah, no, I've heard it before." Thalia replied. "It's more the response to 'no thanks I'm not interested' that pushes me away, usually. If someone's cool with me being uninterested in relationships and all that, it's fine."

"I'm glad." Soren nodded. "You're a really special person, Thalia. I'm glad we both survived and found each other."

Thalia leaned her head on Soren's shoulder. "You and me both."

ive been wanting to do a full playthrough of all the dragon age games with my canon girls and get my canon set up all nice and neat before dreadwolf comes out but thats hard because. my canon has morphed so much from what the games ALLOW you to do. i have two wardens. hawke has two love interests simultaneously but her true love is someone you cant even romance. rosie is the closest to inquisition canon but i have extensive ideas about what her post-Inquisition life is like that i just know dreadwolf is gonna mess up. wahhhhh

I want to know which characters you think have orchestra or choir energy instead of band energy

First of all bold of you to assume you can’t be both (speaking as a choir and band kid who had two years of orchestra (I didn’t like orchestra tho))

Here’s some of the choir and orchestra line up for the marching band au:

Choir kids: Luke Skywalker (he’s in color guard tho, Rose Tico (could also see her as clarinet tho), Samakro, Thalias, Padme Amidala, Lando Calrissian (like Luke he does color guard)

Orchestra kids: Thrawn (he’s in band but also plays violin), Arhinda Pryce (viola), Thrass (Cello), Del Meeko (Bass), Gideon Hask (Violin)
