I feel like if the bobby from the animated show and the bobby from the game met, there'd be some moments. I also would head cannon Game Bobby as being more experienced. There will possibly be more of this.

I imagine both drifter and bobby are somewhat desensitized of death. Bobby more so cares less of corpses and sees them more as things to loot, while drifter is somewhat numb to the ticking timer he's in (he makes off handed jokes about himself that sounds slightly concerning). Drifter still respects the dead and what theyve left behind, thinking that borrowing their weapons as some sort of relief for the dead (Quirrel's words ;u;). "Borrowing", because he knows well it will be used by others when these things outlives him, and hes ok with it. (He also believes that a tool that still serves its functions has no reason to go unused)

Bobby is a loud and proud jerk, and drifter rattled that concept simply by just being himself, unexpectant on how it would affect bobby. While he had been familiar of death, he never properly grasped the concept of losing someone he truly loved.

And he doesnt know how to deal with it.

I have a couple of my usual little minor nitpicks (as I am want to have), but I don’t even want to get into them because there were so few and they didn’t impact my enjoyment of the comic all that much. I thought it was super cute!

I won’t spoil anything in case anyone’s interested in buying it for themselves (which, I would say… yeah, buy it, totally!), but what I appreciated the most– especially since this is the first issue and it’s establishing who the girls are for anyone not super familiar with them– is that the girls end up saving the day together. It shows the importance of them not just being heroes, but also being a team (and also being supportive sisters, which… 🥹🫶) and that makes me feel like, even on a basic level, they get the characters. And that’s reassuring! Yay!

Yall know that scene in Hercules where Hercules just finished killing a monster and then in pans over to Hades absolutely losing his shit?

Yeah, but instead, it's Quinn after Sam and Darlin' killed those assassins

Like imagine, fights over, Sam and Darlin' are making out bcs it's them, and then the camera pans over to Quinn, sitting on a tree branch and TWEAKING THE FUCK OUT.

I mean he's loosing his shit, he's trying to stay composed, but this is such a devastating loss. Not only did they beat the 2, count em, 2 vampires he sent, they did it with their mate and now they're swapping spit right in his face.

He's insulted and probably almost in tears, like unbridled anger to the point where he considered going and finishing the job himself type of shit. (I like picturing Quinn as the man baby he is, can you tell?)

I just thought it was a teensy bit funny to imagine 😊🫶🏾

when its lams and hamliza but the story is that john and alex were dating but then john died and then alex meets eliza and they get along yk, start dating and stuff and eliza just helps him get through the painful process of letting go of john.
