The Responsibility of Being a Father
As father's we have a great responsibility to teach our families to love the Lord. God gives us the key ingredients to accomplish this purpose. Intertwined in this is teaching them to love, respect and follow God's Word.
As fathers we have a great responsibility to teach our families to love the Lord. God gives us the key ingredients to accomplish this purpose. Intertwined in this is teaching them to love, respect and follow God’s Word. Notice three things that are vital to teaching our families to love Him.
J. Wilbur Chapman often told of the testimony given by a certain man in one of his meetings: “I got off at…

i love the contrast between alastor and vox’s rivalry and alastor and lucifers “rivalry” 😭
in “stayed gone” alastor keeps his cool until the very end while vox freaks out and tries desperately to prove he’s better. alastor is still chill even though this rivalry has been going for so long. vox still doesn’t manage to piss him off
the difference here is alastor randomly decided to spark up a fight, with fuckin LUCIFER. lucifer actually manages to piss alastor off to the point of getting him to swear (damn swearing to the king of hell), and alastor actually gets mad over a random ass conflict.
alastor doesn’t even frustrated over a rivalry that’s been going on for years, he doesn’t even break a sweat, but when he decided to fuck with lucifer he turns red

I was drawing multiple pieces of artwork that were explicit and very much gay in nature on my tablet. Somehow, my dad saw it all on HIS PHONE. It was mortifying, but I hoped he would forget.
I then went onto a rollercoaster with my family.
He did not forget.

We need to stop talking about how conservatives don't want their kids to know LGBTQ people exist. They do want their kids to know we exist, but we will suffer for it.
They don't want their kids to know that it is okay and acceptable to be LGBTQ, that society will allow them to exist in peace and happiness. That at times LGBTQ people will be accepted.
They want their kids to know that LGBTQ is not okay or acceptable. That if they are LGBTQ they will be persecuted, marginalized, beaten, and scorned. That if they are they will have a terrible life, so they better g-ddamn be the good little cishet Christian soldier that Mommy and Daddy wanted.
They aren't actually scared that a couple rainbow displays will turn their kids gay or an affirming book will forcibly transition them. They're scared that their already LGBTQ kid will know that them being themselves is a just as valid life and not a one way ticket to misery and then hell.
They want to not just eradicate LGBTQ from existence, they want to have everyone else watch us suffer as a warning to stay in line.
Or maybe that's just LGBTQ survivor of an entire childhood and adolescence under an extreme abusive homophobe of a parent in me, idk why listen to me on this stuff.

"Trying Jesus" is not a thing. The bread of life doesn't come as Costco samples. You have to buy the whole thing. It's free but you have to buy it

Worship God, man!
Children don’t make a rich man poor, they make a poor man rich. The rich man can’t take his money to heaven, but I’m taking my kids to heaven. I’m planning on taking my grand-kids too. We’re going to heaven This is our wealth.
A REAL MAN WILL HAVE A FAMILY THAT WORSHIPS
Psalm 128
A song of ascents.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion;
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
He’s a man that…

My mom and dad turned Christian after going to a church on the peak of a mountain (our family is not religious irl) and began to sing a new Crane Wives song made of Bible verses. I hated the idea, but the song was so powerful I cried my eyes out during the chorus.
