OPERATION ICEBERG: THE TIER LIST
Tumblr media
TIER LIST OVERVIEW:
Guaranteed: These theories have been explicitly confirmed by George R. R. Martin or other authoritative sources.
Near-Certainty: These theories lack official confirmation but are so heavily supported by the text and/or external hints that they're almost certainly true.
Strong Contender: These theories have a lot of textual support, but there are still some elements of uncertainty.
Possible: These theories could be true, but additional evidence is needed, as different interpretations or errors are possible.
Under Consideration: These theories haven't garnered strong or extensive evidence, but they're worthy of discussion.
50/50: These theories are complete toss-ups.
Low Probability: While not impossible, these theories are unlikely based on the current evidence.
Long Shot: These theories are largely speculative, based more on wishful thinking or obscure hints than on solid evidence.
Debunked: These theories have been directly contradicted by the text, George R. R. Martin, or other authoritative sources.
A Joke: These theories are an absolute joke; anyone who believes them is a fool.
Fanfiction: These "theories" are nothing short of delusional fan-crafted fantasies, embarrassingly disconnected from any shred of textual reality.
Alright fam, group project.
For each major theory, I'll present the evidence, and then you all can vote on whether it's correctly placed on the tier list. While I'm open to making changes, know that I have the final say, should you all lose your minds, or should the dumb side of the fandom find the poll.
Let's begin.
THEORY:
Stannis burns Shireen
TIER:
Guaranteed
EVIDENCE:
GEORGE R. R. MARTIN: It wasn't easy for me. I didn't want to give away my books. It's not easy to talk about the end of my books. Every character has a different end. I told them who would be on the Iron Throne, and I told them some big twists like Hodor and "hold the door," and Stannis's decision to burn his daughter. We didn't get to everybody by any means. Especially the minor characters, who may have very different endings. - Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Game of Thrones and the Official Untold Story of the Epic Series
x
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss tell EW those conversations included "three holy sh– moments" in particular.
The first: Stannis Barathon sacrificing his daughter Shireen — which was shown during the show's fifth season. - Entertainment Weekly
x
Question: Hello James. From what you know, how much of the show's ending for the major characters (Jon, Dany, Arya, Tyrion, Bran, Sansa) aligns with what George is planning?
James Hibberd: The fabled three big things GRRM told Dan and Dave that they used in the back seasons were Hodor's death (and origin story), Stannis burning Shireen and "who ends up on the Iron Throne." The only thing I can say aside from that is there will be some rather big differences. - James Hibberd's Reddit Ask Me Anything
Also, let's not forget, this is the same man who used blood magic to murder his own brother and had to be stopped from doing the same to his nephew. Bit of a theme here.
VOTE:
NEXT THEORY:
Asha's pregnant

DID IS a trauma-based disorder
Despite what garbage people say
Trauma and stressor related disorders is a new category in the DSM 5 based on short term, single traumatic events, in which the disorder and the symptoms can be clearly traced to the event. Dissociative disorders are placed next to those, but not a part of it, because it's a category based on symptom grouping. Not because they're not related-- DID is a trauma disorder, categorized by its dissociative symptoms, so they moved the whole damn dissociative section to put it next to trauma and stress disorders.
According to the linked article, "[Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders] is the only diagnostic category in the DSM-5 that is not grouped conceptually by the types of symptoms characteristic of the disorders in it," and, "A common focus of the disorders in it as relating to adverse events. This diagnostic category is distinctive among psychiatric disorders in the requirement of exposure to a stressful event as a precondition."
As per the DSM 5, “Psychological distress following exposure to a traumatic or stressful event is quite variable. In some cases, symptoms can be well understood within an anxiety or fear-based context. It is clear, however, that many individuals who have been exposed to a traumatic or stressful event exhibit a phenotype in which, rather than anxiety or fear-based symptoms, the most prominent clinical characteristics are anhedonic and dysphoric symptoms, externalizing angry and aggressive symptoms, or dissociative symptoms. Because of these variable expressions of clinical distress following exposure to catastrophic or aversive events, the aforementioned disorders have been grouped under a separate category: trauma- and stressor-related disorders. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for the clinical picture to include some combination of the above symptoms (with or without anxiety- or fear-based symptoms).”
In other words, these are disorders that present in a way that they don’t fit into other categories. It would be more appropriate to call this category “a trauma based trash bin”. It’s a handful of disorders with no set symptoms that don’t really fit into other categories.
Each of the disorders in that section states in the criteria something along the lines of: “The care in Criterion C is presumed to be responsible for the disturbed behavior in Criterion A (e.g., the disturbances in Criterion A began following the lack of adequate care in Criterion C),” or, “symptoms begin and worsen following exposure to an event.” As well, there’s typically a duration in relation to the event listed (for example, “Duration of the disturbance (symptoms in Criterion B) is 3 days to 1 month after trauma exposure.”).
None of that applies to DID-- not because it’s not a trauma-based disorder, but because there’s multiple, longterm events, there’s usually amnesia, the symptoms usually aren’t discovered until decades later, and they’re typically lifelong. HELL-- PTSD used be under anxiety disorders. Because symptom grouping. This is nothing new, it’s nothing shocking or surprising.
DID and other DDs present with the main symptom of dissociation-- so it would make sense to group those, and put them NEXT to the trauma disorders. Because it’s a trauma disorder based on its dissociative symptoms. You literally, actually can’t put “exposure to trauma” as a criteria for DID-- it wouldn’t work, and it doesn’t actually make sense to do that and move it to TSRD if you just take the time to read the section on Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders. It doesn’t belong there.
DID is trauma-based, and still a dissociative disorder because of the setup of the DSM and the development and course of DID. Just because clinicians can’t currently tell the difference between trauma-based systems and endos doesn’t mean they won’t soon be able to. And at that point, no, endos can’t have DID. They can have PTSD (and they’d benefit from those resources far more). But not DID. A misdiagnosis (though I’d contend that it’s much more likely they’re actually a trauma based system) doesn’t change that fact, as much as you’d like it to.
@thelunastusco I’m tagging you. I’m calling you out. Your post is terrible and shows a very fundamental lack of understanding about DID, DDs, and the new category. You should feel bad.

hi, can I ask for your top ten favorite fics ? :)
Hi anon hiiiiiiii welcome!!! u caught me at a good time, ur soooo lucky bc i just glanced at my notifs and saw this ask get sent <3 KDBDKDKK its been literal years since i checked my ask box 👉🏻👈🏻
BUT ANYWAY! top 10 of all time???? be warned that while i am currently enchanted with ONE (1) 6 ft 3 in actress, I still do consider myself a girlie with varied tastes so. my old & other fandoms are mixed in my current list!
without further ado:
#10: knowledge for knowledge's sake by tigriswolf (ao3) || quite an old piece detailing how a change in the personality of one Hermione Granger could have had a massive impact to the story— and while I don't fuck with JKTerfling, the fics I've read from the old fans in the HP fandom are still honestly, some of the BEST I have EVER read. This one in particular irrevocably changed me as a teen, and is one story that I continue to draw inspiration upon when I create dark!AUs for my SI/OCs.
#9: Zutopia by itslivybear (ao3) || the fluff, the worldbuilding, an AU where Izuku is mentored by our beloved Rat God & together, they fix the world problems? GIRLIES catch me forever LOVING this concept like you could NEVER believe <3
#8: (not so) Bad Idea by @sarahpaulsonsoftie (tumblr post) || HEE HEE ITS LIVING IN MY MIND RENT FREE LIKE HELP THESE BITCHES GAY!!!!!! GOOD FOR THEM!!!!!!! ft a meddling plantita who really mothered; Marilyn Thornhill <3
#7: Hold my Soul by connyhascontrol (ao3) || I got into Trixie/Katya completely by one @montaguehphm introducing me to UNHhhh (HIIIIIII bestie I hope everything is going good and that ur gay keeps slay <3) and I haven't recovered ever since— reading the fics by writers on AO3 was a happy little accident, but one i will FOREVER love, nonetheless. Anyway, this particular fic was SO brilliantly original and YET so entrenched in the personalities between T&K that it ABSOLUTELY just wrecks me everytime I reread it. anyways hi @connyhascontrol pls know ur brilliant <3
#6: I think I'm gonna call him out by hellelf (ao3, users only) || again, another AU for Hermione fic, that's chockfull of world building and interesting relationships! It's been unupdated from its 5 chapters since 2021, but I still LOVE to look back at it from time to time 💖
#5: The Confectionary Chronicles series by cheshire_caroll (ao3); Into the Black series by angelholme (ao3); Hermione Granger & the Serpent's Renaissance series by epsi1on (ao3) AND New Blood by artemisgirl (ff.net) || if it's not evident, i am an absolute slut for fics ft. Hermione being badass & put into a v cool plot w/ insane amounts of world building, so yeah, def a top 5 most contender <3
#4: The Infinitely Curious Woman by chararii (ao3) || literally ALL of their fics are absolute bangers, and while I forever mourn their decision to stop all Naruto fics thanks to the great harddrive incident of 2022, I have nonetheless the GREATEST respect to their skill & talent to bring SUCH LIFE to their stories. In particular, I chose this particular fic of theirs because the premise of Sakura making her own way by shedding off her morality the more she learned & got influenced by her 2 greatest teachers was absolutely nothing short of DIVINE. It was and IS such an inspiration to read, reread & explore, and I will forever love @chararii for this brilliant piece of a fic
#3: The Endgame that never was series by @heleneplays aka me (tumblr masterlist) || ok I know this seems self-absorbed but DEAR MOTHER OF CHRISTIE i literally WENT OFF for a whole ass day and a half going feral for the Relics of the Lost Age series book 3 finale (hi @jamesshawgames pls know im still here and STILL simping even tho i am currently having a brainrot for a different thing on main sjdhdkdk i hope ur doing well dearest mr. chief author sir!!!!) and created this series from my dreams + nonstop ben&ben playlist— and honestly, I think it's VERY sexy of me <3 bc I rarely like things that I do after a while, but THIS— alongside Universal Constant (ao3) are truly my BEST work <3
#2: Across the Stars by nomisunrider (ao3) || I CAN NEVER STRESS THIS ENOUGH, HOW MUCH THIS FIC ALTERED MY BRAIN CHEMISTRY LIKE. its been 4 YEARS since it was completed but HOLY. MOTHERFUCKING. GOD. The story between Michael & Philippa persisting beyond the odds, in a twist of the canon happenings in Star Trek: Discovery is FOREVER ingrained in my heart and soul and honestly once again THANK YOU @nomi--sunrider for SUCH a beautiful story 🥺🥺🥺
and drum roll please!!!
#1 (current): I literally cannot pick between Better than Gold + Little Cat by @lady-dimimi / @azu-zu (tumblr post for BtG | LC ao3); How to woo a Hot Principal by @softshrimpy (ao3); and Lipstick Stains by @weemssapphic (ao3) || LIKE HOLY SHIT THE FUCKING AMOUNT OF TALENT, PLOT, FLUFF, DRAMA AND UTTER GAYNESS THESE FICS BRING ME— its SOOOOO insanity inducing in the best of ways <3 also, i really count myself lucky to get into a very active (x reader) sphere LIKE ITS SOOOOO INSANE i get to consume CONTENT daily for such wonderful characters and these special morsels be like. authors, I am sending you all a MWAH from me

✨masterpost of my works✨
posted to my ao3
[this post is subject to editing in the future]
Since I intend on using Tumblr a bit more now, and because I like neat lists, I thought it'd be prudent do make a little list of what I have out on ao3 right now!
My name's Looth, and I am ENTIRELY at the whims of my hyperfixations. I'm on twitter and pillowfort by the same handles, but I rarely use the latter.
fandoms: Stranger Things, Our Flag Means Death, The Witcher (Netflix) and Good Omens
[list under the cut!]
fanfiction
Good Omens:
A Nanny? In MY Summoning Circle?
A twoshot wherein Warlock Dowling meets his Nanny again, via the very normal uni student past time of trying to summon a demon with a book you found in a dodgy bookshop. Very fluffy, genderqueer Warlock.
[Complete] 2/2, 10.5k
The Witcher (Netflix):
The Viscount
[geraskefer endgame]
A 5+1 that works on the premise that "I'm from Lettenhove" is a sort of codeword in the royal class for children that have fallen out of grace with their court/family? And the higher your rank in Lettenhove, the worse the thing you have done is? Lots of Jaskier shenanigans, aggressive found family and genderfluid Jaskier.
Based on a post by @artistsfuneral.
[WIP] 3/?, 1.3k
build me up, buttercup [rated M]
[geraskefer endgame]
A longfic I've been chipping away at since 2020, dear God. Features Jaskier and Yen being fake married and co-parenting Ciri, Geralt getting adopted, the found family inherent to bards and the city of Oxenfurt, ftm Jaskier and Ciri having a well-deserved identity crisis. Also, ocs galore, gratuitous academia, and also Valdo Marx is immortal and Jaskier's annoying best friend.
Geraskefer endgame. My baby, who I will return to as soon as I am able.
[WIP] 15/?, 64k
Our Flag Means Death:
the inertia series [rated E]
a three-part series following Israel Hands as he attempts to move on from the things keeping him trapped in amber, unable to grow.
[steddyhands endgame]
[Complete] 62.9k
1. love like a dog on a leash
Izzy Hands encounters an old friend in the form of Sam Bellamy, Ed starts a barfight, and Stede learns some backstory.
All of these men are haunted in some way.
1/1, 5.5k
2. open season
Izzy Hands finds himself inexplicably being courted by various pirates to be their first mate. No one has addressed that fact that he isn't looking for a new Captain; he already has two. Steddyhands endgame, features some Jackhands.
A long look at the dynamics between Ed and Izzy, and now Stede, and the older dynamics of Ed, Izzy, Calico Jack Rackham and Sam Bellamy. Actually, it's a look at Izzy himself, and his various traumas and the way he's transitioning from being in a Black Sails type dark genre to this weird muppet land everyone else on this ship seems to live in.
7/7, 44.5k
3. red sky at morning
An epilogue, wherein the boys all contend with the future on the horizon; the good and the bad of it.
1/1, 11.9k
stranger things
[my current hyperfixation send help]
Eddie Munson and the Dreamboy
[steddie]
Wherein Eddie and El traverse the inside of Steve's mind, and encounter various Steves at different points in his life trying to find where he's hidden himself to escape Vecna's final curse.
A 5+1, featuring Steve's Scoops Ahoy flirting, a little baby Steve, and El's hair.
[Complete] 1/1, 8k.
Dustin Henderson and the Lovebirds
[steddie]
Five times Dustin Henderson was subjected to Eddie Munson being gross and sappy and in love with Steve Harrington, and one time Steve didn't even have to be there.
Features Steve being serenaded, Eddie Munson's Roger Rabbit Impression, Steve's Tiny Gym Shorts, and a good old fashioned worm conversation. Also, gay dnd.
[Complete] 1/1, 9.7k
always burning, world keeps turning
a two-part series set in a soft post-apocalyptic Hawkins, where community and family keep everyone going. And Steve and Eddie kiss about it.
[steddie]
[WIP]
1. took you for a working boy
In a post-apocalypse, mildly nightvale-flavoured Hawkins, Steve and Eddie are the only ones who aren't aware they're dating. Steve does not have a gender crisis but does have a lot of difficulty finding the words for it all, Eddie is oblivious but earnest (and running a radio show, Dr. Death Defying or Cecil Palmer style), Steve and Robin are ACTUALLY soulmates, and everyone's doing their best.
I cannot stress how much everyone thinks they're already dating. Featuring genderqueer Steve, disaster gay Eddie, scheming younger teens, and lots of stobin fluff.
[complete] 6/6, 43.8k
2. hometown blues
The sequel to working boy, wherein Gareth, Vickie and Steve's mom encounter how fucking weird Hawkins has got in their absence, and take it with varying degrees of grace.
[WIP] 3/? 17k
off-script
Wherein Steve Harrington has his sexuality all figured out, Eddie's in comically heavy denial, and everything rapidly snowballs from there.
[steddie]
1. off the beaten path
Wherein Steve figures out he's bi before Eddie figures out he's gay, but Eddie STILL manages to fall first.
Features Steve talking himself though discovering his sexuality in approximately five minutes while on the phone with a baffled Jonathan, and him aggressively flirting with the local metalhead. He's also very good at being an unreliable narrator.
It ALSO features said local metalhead (who thinks himself straight) accidentally flagging, calling Steve Harrington princess in a totally straight way, and doing the ttrpg equivalent of doodling your crush's name on a notebook over and over. Also, somehow he's convinced himself he just hates Steve.
This won't end badly for anyone, I'm sure.
[Complete] 6/6, 34.2k
2. no boys allowed
Robin Buckley has her very first Girls' Day. She gets her hair braided, consoles her heartbroken best friend, and everyone muddies the water a bit on the exact definition of what a Girl is.
Steve Harrington has a good cry about Eddie Munson.
[Complete] 1/1, 7.5k
3. here be dragons
Eddie Munson has kissed a boy, and now he has to handle the fallout. He's got to grapple with the fact that he likes boys, likes a boy, and the harrowing fact that he may have inadvertently broken said boy's heart.
Or, a rapidly snowballing fic that's become a series of character studies by accident. Features Mike Wheeler kicking Eddie's ass into gear, ruminations on being a fashion-assigned dom, Steve Harrington's Various Abandonment Issues, and a surprise Tommy Hagan.
[WIP] 6/?, 38.9k
original works:
court of law
A mildly unhinged second person pov piece about a person going to college and finding that he's trapped in a bizarre dreamscape with no memories. And a new body. He accidentally steals a cute boy's name.
Lots of shenanigans, lots of gender and bad jokes.
[WIP] 6/?, 13k

Talk about your fanfics ask:
1, 3, 9, 12
Thank you for asking this! I am always delighted to talk about my stories.
What story (stories?) are you writing rn that you’ll most likely publish next?
Probably the ever-elusive original novel, honestly. After my current fanfic projects, I don't have any more planned, though that doesn't mean I won't get walloped with a new idea soon. But I'm going to start a new arc of A Lot Can Happen In Twenty Years with a completely new character as the bad guy soon, so I guess that sort of counts since that story is more of a catchall for shorts set in the same universe anyway.
3. What tropes do you like writing about the most?
Answered here.
9. Top three fics you’ve written (in author’s opinion)?
AUGH. How can I pick just three? But...if I HAVE to choose...
First place MUST go to The War of the Ring, my massive LOTR rewrite and probably, if you applied thumbscrews, the story I'd admit is my actual favourite out of all the ones I've written.
Second and third place are a lot harder for me to decide on, because my favourite fic is usually the one I'm writing right now! I managed to narrow things down a bit by picking a favourite from each of the fandoms I've written for and comparing those, but that only managed to reduce the number of contenders to five.
Help.
You know what, you're getting all five (in no particular order because IT'S TOO HARD TO PICK OKAY).
Oath of Fealty, a Dune ghost story that I'm very fond of because I imitated the original's made-up chapter quotes and it involves one of my favourite characters in the novel! Book canon, but it's canon compliant for the first movie too.
Kad'au, one of the entries in my Cin Vhetin series, featuring Obi-Wan raising Luke, Jedi-Mandalorian bonding, grief, healing, Jedi history, and hope.
Bullets and Reactors, a fix-it fic for The Hunt for Red October which largely consists of a very tired submarine captain dealing with the aftermath of Shenanigans while trying to make sure that none of the self-sacrificing idiots he's acquired dies before he can get them all home.
Our Fathers Lied, canon-compliant Spider-man 3 angst. Mostly on this list because the title is taken from a terribly beautiful and grievous poem by Rudyard Kipling that fits the main character so perfectly that I almost couldn't believe it when I found it.
Kintsukuroi, a Bucky-centric fic about grief, hope, and picking up the broken pieces of what you had to build something new. Also features Shuri being awesome.
So...yeah, that's a lot more than you asked for, but I couldn't pick just one, darnit!
12. Write another line in your WIP (rude, productive, but okay).
Oy! Rude! (Just kidding.) Here's the line:
Someone will need to turn the power back on as soon as he's contained, Gwen had said about Max, but Harry was starting to have serious doubts about whether Max could be contained.
Ask game is here.

Jehannet - The introduction (TMNT)
Alright, my Turtle Doves.
It is time.
I'd like y'all to meet my boy.
Actually, I need y'all to meet my boy.
He will be a bonus contender in my Trick or Kink story for this year's festivities 😘
Tumblr media
His name is Jehannet - J, for short.
Now… A bit of background info is necessary.
First of all, my turtle boys are older. Mid-30s to 40.
The turtles had been created in a lab, purposely. They were made to be weapons. But the human DNA that was used to humanize them gave them morals that caused them to be emotional and somewhat untrainable for what the scientists needed and wanted them for.
They had been bred in captivity. Their parents were chosen carefully, looking for distinct traits and abilities.
They were trying to create the Perfect Specimen.
Leonardo and Michelangelo are full-blooded brothers.
As are Raphael and Donatello.
This means these two sets of brothers are only family thanks to Splinter -who was also created in the same lab.
But back to the boys.
Once our four boys were seemingly old enough for the scientists to really study, and experiment on, they gathered enough data through observation to create what they hoped would be their perfect specimen.
They bred Raph and Don's father with Leo and Mike's Mother to create Jehannet.
Jehannet is named after a Renaissance artist, more commonly known as Jean Clouet. He was a miniaturist.
He was named after Clouet because he is a carbon copy of Don - and originally, he was Don's "mini-me."
However, now that he's a full-grown alpha, he's taller than Don but still looks a little younger. J also has the brains to rival our resident genius.
On top of already being nearly perfect (😂💜), boyfriend is also bigger and stronger than the big Red brute himself.
And while he may look like an absolute beast, he's as sweet, fun, and funny as Mikey. And has all that serene energy and super charm that Leo exudes.
He's also a master in energy work, but we'll talk about that later 😘
Without explaining too much and giving y'all too many spoilers, you should probably know that J had been missing for nearly 20 years (give or take) and has recently been reunited with his older brothers.
And just as each of the boys is associated with a specific color, so is J.
He dons a cream/light yellow colored mask and wraps.
And he normally uses dual broadswords for fighting; however, he’s currently training in bladed boomerangs for tactical missions. ⚔️
Yes, you read that right. He is part of the Tactical Team Turtles 🔥
I'm so excited to finally have the courage to introduce him to you!
It's like bringing home my true love for my family to meet for the first time 😂😬💛
And as always, a shout out to @leosgirl82 for helping me in his creation 😘🥰

Thai BL Favorites Tag Game
Tagged by @lurkingshan, @ginnymoonbeam, @incandescentflower and @recentadultburnout! Created by @thatgirl4815 as Thai BL Favorites Tag Game, and that's the name I'm playing it under because, a) well, it's all BL on my particular list, it'd feel disingenious to call it anything else except maybe Y Series because we're talking Thai audiovisual media specifically and b) I'm not entirely comfortable with the unilateral renaming of a genre which which originated and grew into its current forms in another cultural context. Don't get me wrong, I made the jump from calling it Yaoi to Boys Love to BL in the 1990s and 2000s; I know to say danmei and dangai (or boy boy) when talking about it in context of media from China/Taiwan, or Y series when talking about it in Thai. If fans and markets in the communities of origin change the names again, so will I. But for now I'm sticking with the term BL. Thanks for understanding.
Favorite Thai BL: @lurkingshan makes a great point with best vs favourite, and her contenders are also mine – is ITSAY my favourite? is Bad Buddy? I suppose if we go by times rewatched, Bad Buddy takes the crown; if it's "what do I rec other people with the least amount of caveats", ITSAY wins.
Current obsession: Laws of Attraction, with Be My Favourite as a close second.
Favorite pairing: I don't particularly like this type of industrially-pushed shoehorning of actors together as a general rule (let's not pretend Julia Roberts and Richard Gere or Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire weren't also a kind of fixed ship, and I know the Philippines does a similar thing with their (mostly het) love teams – this is not Thai BL exclusive, at least historically speaking), but it clearly sells, so I don't think the industry's going to move away from this model for a long while yet.
That said: tough, but I think it'll have to be Billkin and PP. Just. Look at them act together. Look. Whether it's ITSAY/LTIP/IPYTM and related material, or one of the advertisement shorts or the incredible music videos from last year or even My Ambulance – they're just. So!!!!
Most underrated actor: Fiat Patchata. Give that boy a main role, goddamnit.
Favorite main character: quoting @lurkingshan here:
Teh, I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You the Moon. Yes, both shows, and before you all come yell at me: I SAID WHAT I SAID.
because she's not the only one who loves this disaster of a boy.
Favorite side character: I really loved the friend group in Secret Crush on You, and Tin's friends in Triage.
Favorite scene in a BL: There are so many to choose from, but I'm going to go with the bus stop scene in Bad Buddy ep 3. The way brick shithouse Pat, all 180some beefy adolescent centimetres of him, turns himself into a cute girl at the drop of a hat … that rewired something in me, had me sit up and take notice (and block the Bad Buddy air time slot in my work calendar for the remain of the show's run time). Because they took it seriously. Didn't play it for laughs.
Favorite line in a BL: oh, there are so many. But I guess if we want to go with largest impact on me, personally, I'm gonna go with Thian in Khun Chaai going "May I love you, Jiu?" because. whew. That just hit me right in the feels.
Most anticipated BL (& why): Only Friends and Love in Translation. Only Friends because it looks to shake up a lot of the things we're used to from GMMTV in particular – I know we've had a little bit of flirting outside of the fixed ships this year already in Moonlight Chicken and Our Skyy 2, but if Jojo is going to shake it up more I'm very, very here for that. Love in Translation because the Thai title is รักไม่รู้ภาษา "Love doesn't know language" and languages are my jam.
Healthiest relationship in a BL: I don't really enjoy thinking about relationships in these terms because it just … urgh. I don't care if it's ''''healthy'''' (and seriously, who gets to decide what is and what isn't healthy, anyway? and why are we making this a moral judgement?)
Questions I do ask about relationships: Is the relationship compelling? is it believable? do the people involved behave like they don't only love and desire, but also like each other as people? that's what I want to know.
Most toxic relationship in a BL: see above.
Ginny suggested Relationship dynamic I would most like to have myself: and Relationship dynamic I would least like to have myself: to replace the "healthy" and "toxic" questions and I think that's fantastic, but I'm honestly blanking on both so I'm skipping this part.
Guilty pleasure series: I like what I like, I don't see a reason to feel bad about that.
Most underrated series: He's Coming To Me. It's such a lovely little show.
If you'd like to play, please consider yourself tagged (and feel free to tag me if/when you play -- I'd love to see!)

The Current State of Independent Animation
Indie Animation is a buzzword you've probably heard come up since 2023, and with no shortage of good reasons- We had several big pilots drop recently, Monkey Wrench, Murder Drones, Lackadaisy and Digital Circus.
These pilots have done so well that the big budget animation industry is taking notice such as A24 studios greenlighting Hazbin Hotel for a season! This is a huge win for independent creators- yet at the same time it creates a new problem: Expectations. You see independent animation is typically a no-to-zero budget labor of love. Many people who have been doing independent animation since Newgrounds.com came from little to no experience and pioneered a genre we love today.
With shows like Lackadaisy and Digital Circus raising the bar to Netflix standards the casual on goer would assume every independent animation should meet those standards. The fact is animation takes tons and tons of time and talent, and usually to do something for either would require compensation. The mega huge shows we all love and that get talked about on any animation youtuber's channel have been worked on by teams of people, not just one or two artists. To hire a team is expensive and it creates a false identity of what independent animation actually looks like to the average creator.
Web independent animation started in the early days of the internet on Newgrounds.com but in 2006 we started to see those pioneers switch to Youtube, and since then the genre has been in pop culture ever since. For a long time it was great, until the Youtube algorithm made the switch to watch time and fast content over good quality long form content. This made a drastic shift in what web animation would look like, and birthed the Storytime animation genre. JaidenAnimations and Technical Dave have really made Storytime animation a household name and even Odd1Out got a Netflix series! This was a revival for animators on Youtube, but for myself and several other passionate animators, a new scene was about to begin- The Animated Series Era.
I released my own web show “Rip the Falcon” in July 2021, and when I first published there were mostly art school thesis films for web animation that wasn't Storytime. Welcome to Hell and Hazbin Hotel were probably the most popular animated videos in that time. There were independent animated series well into their own series' timeline like Dreamophrenia, but the scene was still very fresh. All the sudden everything changed when we got treated to mega hit after mega hit such as Lackadaisy, Murder Drones, Cliffside and Long Gone Gulch, not to mentioned quirky series like Seinfeld in Don Bluth style.
Almost in one month everyone was talking about independent animation like it magically appeared. Now there was serious competition and what felt like a ripe field of potential had now become a contender over Netflix shows. So where does that leave the amateur or one-person team animation studios? Sadly I think our chances of being as successful as the teams with 10-30 artists are very low comparatively. There's now a certain level of what's “good” and one person against a production team definitely has odds stacked against them for success in competition.
I still see new pilots almost every two weeks pop into my recommendations list on Youtube, and although the views are criminally low for the hard work and effort that goes into these shorts, the passion is still exploding. Could these artists be the new Vivziepop? Who knows, but even if the odds are stacked against the small guys, independent animation is thriving!

3, 23, 24 for the fic asks?
end of year fic asks
thanks for the ask! :D
23. fics you wanted to write but didn't
answered here! :D
24. favorite fic you read this year
ohhh boy this is a tough one because there's A Lot. unordered list probably (actually ordered by approximately when i read them):
for Gravity Falls: Pseudomnesia by Greyingdawns. okay this one and this one only is unambiguously ordered in terms of favorites because literally nothing else comes close. i read this back in march and it's almost certainly in my all-time top 10. (do i know what the rest of my all-time top 10 are? i have no fucking clue my guy. like i definitely know some of the contenders but not the order.) genuinely INCREDIBLE fic (but tumblr killed my thoughts about how the brackets are absolutely amazing and create such brilliant inline poetry FUCK!!!!!!!!) and im probably going to be thinking about it for years to come. begging literally everyone to PLEASE READ IT!!!!
for Ninjago: tell it again by spinbitchzu. this one started as a tumblr post that i reblogged supportively and later got solicited in my inbox when the first chapter was up (lol), but hey im nothing if not a sucker for time loop stories and this is a really good one so far.
for Pikmin: the To Be (One With the Garden) series by MaideninOrange. To Live (As a Pikmin) was actually the first Pikmin fic I ever read, and the whole series is really good. i have some minor gripes with some parts of it, but where it hits it fucking HITS, and this is definitely the fic and series i re-read the most this year. similar to something else a bit later down this list, this very heavily inspired one half of my current wip, as a point of comparison.
for Pikmin: A Nightmare, A Dream by qwertycake. GOD this is fucking ough. REALLY REALLY REALLY nails the half-dreaming vibe in the simplicity and not-quite-sequitur of the thought process. OUGH.
for Pikmin: To Die (and be born anew) by Valkohai. where to start with this one honestly. really good execution of a well-trod concept, really good original ideas (the fucking puffstool thing HOLY SHIT), just really good all around. just like the To Be series, though, i have a lot of minor gripes with it, and it ended up heavily inspiring one half of my current wip. or, more accurately, i realized that i kinda really went off with my comment on chapter 7 and now we're 37k words deep. :)
for Pikmin: subterranean web, infest my soul by voidnight (aka you lol). really not sure what else to say about this other than that it's really really fucking good, i am Still thinking about it, and it in particular was really fucking ough. still debating on whether to list this as an inspiration for my wip when i get around to publishing it (which might be soon - first chapter is almost done, the reason it's taken over four months now was because i wrote all the way to the end of one of the halves before turning around to write the rest lmaoooo), but all of the themes (and dreams) of labor really helped crystallize some of my thoughts in a way that, even if it isn't immediately evident from the text, definitely helped ME to organize some things.
for Pikmin: the Protocol for Nonstandard Relations series by voidnight (also aka you lol). much more shippy than i usually like, but tons of really good world- and character-building that i personally can never resist. ALSO those labor thoughts.
for Pikmin: paulownia by mlkt. really good, short, mostly introspective piece. love me some really good, short, mostly introspective pieces.
for Pikmin (LAST ONE): Venus Flytrap by qwertycake. deliciously DISGUSTING vibes. literally LOVE that framing device too. just. OUGH.
for In Stars and Time: Bleeding in Monochrome by JustSalPals. just really love this writer's style and characterization.
for In Stars and Time/START AGAIN: a prologue: The Stars are Just Spotlights by JustSalPals. LOOP MY FUCKING BELOVED. love love love love love the way this writer writes them.
for START AGAIN: a prologue/In Stars and Time (but really just SASASAP): Half Masked by RuneSnap. simple but good.
3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year
OHHHHHH GOD DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE
okay so i have a few (all from my current wip)
first up there's this bit from the second chapter, which is intended to be read out loud:
When they eventually come across the blackened shell, after an age of wandering through smoke — shattered and silent and still, softly smoldering, with shredded scraps and splintered shards scattered circularly aside it like a halo, both hallow and hollow — they finally separate, dispersing through the debris field to search for any sign. Thirty minutes later, they find the body.
so this was normal prose originally, but at some point i realized that "hm there's a lot of S sounds in here hmmmm" and rewrote it to be almost entirely S sounds. it adds a cool auditory component - the hiss and pop of dying flames. this is unambiguously the coolest thing i wrote that had a non-contextual reason to be cool.
here's a larger segment, from the third chapter, which i think rather speaks for itself:
His thoughts are spinning faster than they have been in days. His mind seems to be on the edge of panic. He drops the mirror-thing unceremoniously and hurriedly begins digging through his back-pouch. His hands are shaking when he pulls out his notebook, and he turns the pages roughly, firmly, like if he doesn’t hold on to them as hard as he can they’re going to fly away. He stops on a seemingly random spread and scans whatever he sees there, desperately, furiously, like it’s going to kill him. It does. Whatever he finds on the page appears to confirm something that’s simultaneously a worst nightmare and a wildest dream. His chest spasms like he’s going to be sick. He rips his gaze from the notebook and stares back up at the empty slot, tears flowing freely from his eyes, and he smiles like he wants to scream. There’s an utterly alien emotion consuming the entirety of his mind: blazing with the fury of a thousand forest fires, spinning with the fervor of a million hurricanes, bursting with the power of a billion suns, crashing with the apocalyptic tide of every drowned memory. They have no idea what it is, but they would not dare to call it hope. It feels like madness.
as for other stuff, it's harder to pull specific segments for, but in general, for a fic that's about "unintentional abuse as consequence of repeated failures of humanization" — or, to put it another way, "it's still/not your fault if the other person/creature is a dog" — it's just been really really REALLY fun to write the premise! just the number of really subtle phrasings to downplay certain events from the dominant party's perspective. there's a particularly good example in chapter 2, where at one point i had originally written "force" and soon after intentionally changed it to "make"; you get the idea.
there's also a lot of instances where the gap between knowledge and understanding is almost bridged, but not quite: reaching just far enough to understand that something is wrong, and that the dominant party is responsible for it, but not being able to pinpoint what exactly it is. and never understanding, not fully, but using that moment of "almost" as a guide to move forward, as an olive branch, as something worth forgiving.
and then, for a more specific scene, there's a section in the fifth chapter (out of six; the first and last function more as a prologue and epilogue, though, and are more tangentially related, so essentially the fifth chapter is the "finale") where i was able to do something very interesting with tenses. the entire fic is written in present tense, but in this specific scene, there's a moment where the dominant party is highly distracted, but something happens very very suddenly and unexpectedly. so in that scene, there's a cutoff —
(and then there's a subscene, entirely in parentheses, trying to reconstruct what would have happened while they were distracted, based on what they know of the situation. this is also written in present tense, but it refers to the current situation in past tense, as if the thoughts were interjected from a future version of themselves. it's also just really sad, because the reason this future version goes to such great effort is because they think it's important for them to know — and it is important, but they also don't understand how or why or even what is important. so it's just. turning it over and over like a stone.)
— and then the original scene resumes like all of that prior introspection did not happen, because in real time, it did not.
thanks again for the ask! :D

Claim: The New Testament canon as it currently exists is in a substantially reduced form from widely-accepted Christians writings from the first generation of the church, in particular neglecting gnostic writings. The Council of Nicaea established the canon because either the bishops whose views won out therein or Constantine did not prefer gnostic works.
Reality: The Council of Nicaea did not discuss the canon of the New Testament. The Athanasian and Arian sides were seemingly in agreement over the canon. Nicaea was convened principally to discuss matters of Christology, with the dating of Easter as a secondary issue.
The New Testament canon as it currently exists is largely in agreement with the set of works quoted by Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp, and Irenaeus (all of whom died decades if not over full century before Constantine was born), along with the Muratorian fragment, written perhaps a full century before Constantine was born.
Ignatius quoted or alluded to most of the current New Testament canon (including many of Paul’s letters and perhaps all four canonical gospels), and, except Revelation, those books he did not were very short. He was martyred at the latest in the 140s, about 130 years before the birth of Constantine.
Polycarp quoted or alluded to most of the current New Testament canon as well, only neglecting John among the gospels. For what it is worth, he quotes two of John’s epistles. Again, most of the books he did not cite were very short in length, and there is only one known surviving work of his, an epistle to the Philippians. He was martyred in the middle of the second century, about 120 years before the birth of Constantine.
Unlike Ignatius and Polycarp, who contended with the proto-gnostics, Iraeneus had to contend with a more developed expression of gnosticism, along with Marcion and his followers, who promoted a very reduced form of the New Testament. Iraeneus wrote an idiosyncratic reasoning for why no fewer and no more gospels were to be considered canon than the now-accepted set of four, but given the quotations from earlier church fathers, it seems he was rationalizing a set of gospels that was already in wide use. He quoted or alluded to every book presently in the New Testament, with the exception of a few short, non-Pauline epistles. Note that he also considered 1 Clement and the Shepherd of Hermas to be Scripture. He died at an unknown date, under unknown circumstances, but likely sometime in the early third century, well before the birth of Constantine.
The Muratorian fragment is a name used to refer to the collation of two obscure manuscripts found in Italy containing a list of the books accepted at the time its original text was written as being in the New Testament. The manuscripts themselves are of medieval origin, but were copied from a text that refered to the Shepherd of Hermas as being a recent work, and attributing it to the brother of Pius, bishop of Rome AD 140-154. This suggests the work was originally written around AD 170, a century before the birth of Constantine. As the name suggests, the whole of the text which has survived to our day is in a fragmentary condition, but it mentions Luke and John being a third and fourth gospel, in addition to recognizing thirteen of Paul’s epistles, two epistles of John (which of them was included is unknown, but the Muratorian fragment quotes 1 John, suggesting either 2 or 3 John was excluded), the epistle of Jude, and Revelation. The only two books considered in the fragment not included in the canon are the Apocalypse of Peter and the Wisdom of Solomon. The former was described by the author as being rejected by some churches. The latter is included in the Old Testament by some groups. Hebrews, James, and the epistles of Peter were not discussed in the fragment. While the inclusion of Matthew and Mark as the first and second gospels is speculative, it is ludicrous to suggest the Gospel of John, which begins with describing Jesus as a fleshly being, Colossians, which describes the fullness of God dwelling in Jesus bodily, or the epistles of John, any two of which would have collectively described the protognostics as antichrist at least once, would coexist in the same canon as any gnostic gospel.
The only writings for which there seems to be some continuing disputes into the late second century were Philemon, Hebrews, some of the general epistles, and Revelation. However, besides these and the rest of the accepted New Testament, the closest to a somewhat accepted book in the New Testament canon was the Shepherd of Hermas, a decidedly non-gnostic work that was rejected due to its obvious post-apostolic origin and disconnection in concepts from the rest of Scripture. The overall trend, then, was for the canon of the New Testament to expand to its current form.

南辕北辙
Tumblr media
大家好!
Hello again everyone! The dust has settled from my move and I have a new job offer lined up! Finally it's time for a new 成语 aka Chinese idiom or proverb! Thanks for your patience!
Today's story is 南辕北辙 (nán yuán běi zhé, roughly "driving your cart north when you want to go south), meaning "to act in a way that defeat's one's purpose". Apparently this 成语 has evolved over time, so it is not quite as amenable to direct character-by-character translation as some of the others. Anyways, here we go!
Once upon a time, there was a man from the country/State of Wei (魏国) who wanted to travel to the country/State of Chu (楚国). He set off with a lot of money in his pocket, which he used to purchase a fine horse and hire a chariot driver. They quickly set off for their destination, which the man heard is to the south. However, in the midst of his daydreaming about all the fun he'll have once arrived, they mistakenly go north! They soon run into an old man on the side of the road, who stops them to ask where they are going with such a fine horse and chariot. When the man gleefully responds that they are heading to the state of Chu, the old man hurriedly explains that they are going the wrong direction! The man laughs and says "How could that be possible? My chariot driver is so capable, I trust him to get me there. Besides, my horse is so fast and I have so much money, surely I will get there just fine." The man and old man go back and forth several times to no avail, there's just no convincing this guy! Finally, the man says "see ya" to the old man and they continue along their way. The old man shakes his head in disbelief and wonders how someone could be so stubborn.
Did you enjoy the story? This one was great for getting back into it! Pretty straightforward and relatively few vocab words. I can think of several English idioms with similar meanings. Definitely the most interesting vocab of today's session was 不管三七二十一 (bù guǎn sān qī èr shí yī), which is quite a mouthful! This is a combination of 不管 ("regardless"), 三七 (literally "three seven" or "3 x 7" in this case), and 二十一 ("two ten one" aka the normal way you would say "21") to create the phrase "regardless of the fact that 3 x 7 = 21", that together mean "no matter the consequences". In short, it basically means being reckless, in this case about which direction they take off for their destination!
See you next time!

😩 I had to get something out. I don't want to bother anyone so I'll post it here. Just a short stormy weather kimchay drabble. It's not really fluffy so much as maybe melancholy?
The last thing Kim wanted to do was get stuck in traffic, especially in this weather. He looked out the window as another flash of lightning lit up the buildings of downtown. Tour was going fine, it was actually the couple day layover between traveling to other countries why Kim was going home. It was past dinner time, but Kim wasn't hungry. He just wanted to get home and sleep. He'd been on a plane since last night practically and he had a horrible time sleeping on the plane. Something about being surrounded by strangers who might recognize him as Wik or even worse, strangers that might recognize him as Kim, the mafia prince that made it hard for him to relax.
The wind was starting to pick up along with the rain. He could tell by the way the car jerked around and the rising level of water in the street. It will be a miracle if he can make it inside his apartment lobby without getting soaked to the bone.  The weather wasn't his favorite, but he was used to it, unlike a certain teen that was complaining about the forecast this morning. Chay was very much not fond of the wind and thunder. He spent most of the call this morning complaining about how the house was old and creaky, it felt like at any moment a gust was going to take the doors and windows off.
"The walls literally groan and pop, P'kim! How is this place structurally sound?" Chay exclaimed.
Kim laughed and let him continue on with his rant while he waited to board another plane. After finally arriving at his building he heaved one last sigh and jumped out of the car, running into the lobby. He watched from inside as Anon got his luggage out and brought it inside.
"I'll be back in the morning kuhn kim. Have a good night."
Kim waved and made his way upstairs. The elevator made its own complaints as the wind pushed against the building, the only downfall to having the penthouse was how much the weather affected it.
Something seemed off when he opened his door. Lights he didn't normally leave on, were on and ones he did were off.  As he walked further in he noticed dishes in the drain rack, empty soda cans on the counter. A pile of books sat on the counter next to an acoustic guitar leaning against it haphazardly.  Kim shook his head as he grabbed the neck and put it on a stand nearby the couch. He started making a list of people he was going to reem for getting into his apartment while he was gone. Currently the number one contender was kuhn, everything was chaotic just enough to be his doing.
The next odd thing though that changed his mind was the bedroom door being open slightly. Kim never leaves it open, whether he's away or not, sometimes even locking it. Come to think of it, he was pretty sure he did when he left this time. That means whoever gained access to his apartment, also broke into his room.
Kim prepared himself as he walked closer to the door. Lightning flashes, a loud crack of thunder rolls through the room. He can almost feel it moving through him like a shockwave. The rain picks up, pelting the wall of glass leading to the balcony.
Slowly he opens the door, eyes roaming the room, looking for any danger. His eyes land on a small mound in the middle of his deep violet duvet cover. All the pillows have seemed to have migrated there as well, forming a small nest in the bed. There's no movement, but a small hic and sniffle can be heard from somewhere underneath. Another loud crack, another sound. It's evident someone is crying under the mound. Kim walks over to the side of the table, setting his 9 mill and phone down, clearly not needing either. The imminent danger appears to be a terrified teen who has burrowed into his bed.
Kim kneels down on the edge of the bed, slowly pulling the blanket back.
"Porchay? Baby?" Kim asks.
A fairly large gust of wind hits the side of the building. Chay lets out a whale. Kim stands up and strips down to his boxers. Carefully he maneuvers the blankets, pillows and Chay around and slips in next to him.  Kim curls himself around Chay, who is shaking.
"It's ok, Porchay. I'm here. I'm here" Kim whispers in his ear, brushing his hand down his side.
"I–I'm sorry, P'kim. I brok–" another rumble interrupts, Chay whines.
"It's ok. I'm not mad, baby." Kim says.
Kim pulls the covers back over them and pulls Chay as close as possible to himself. Quietly he starts singing in Chay's ear. Chay once told him Porsche used to do this to help calm him down when he was younger. It seems to be working as the shaking slowly stops along with the sniffing. Kim keeps rubbing his hand up and down his side and back and forth across Chay's tummy long after he's sure Chay has fallen asleep.  Not long after Kim falls asleep as well, the storm rolls on.

This could be the fastest race in women's 100m history.
The stage is set, the track is prepared, and the anticipation is reaching a fever pitch as the world gears up for the highly awaited Women's 100m race at the upcoming World Championships in Budapest Hungry. Among the star-studded lineup, four athletes stand out, each bringing their unique blend of speed, determination, and skill. Let's dive into the predictions for this exhilarating sprint showdown.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: The Pocket Rocket's Resurgence A name that resonates with sprinting excellence, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is no stranger to the world of podiums and championships. With an unmatched acceleration off the blocks and a finish that leaves competitors in her wake, Fraser-Pryce is a true force of nature. Having already secured 5 100m World Championships and 2 Olympic 100m titles. However, having dealt with an injury-plagued season coming from her knee causing her to pull out of specific meets can she regain her phenomenal form and once again reign supreme and defend her title. She currently holds a season's best of 10.82 seconds which she set in Luzern, Switzerland. The question is however can that injured knee of hers hold up throughout the championship if it can, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be in for a good shot at getting her record-extending 6th 100m world title.
Shericka Jackson: The Versatile Challenger Known for her versatility across different sprint distances, Shericka Jackson has the ability to surprise and dominate. Her impressive world-class performances in the 200m have showcased her top-end speed, but can she translate that into a victory in the 100m? She comes into the world championships as the world number one with a season's best and personal best of 10.65 seconds to win the Jamaican championships and put her tied 5th on the all-time list. However, Jackson hasn't been so consistent throughout the diamond league season but her coach Stephen Francis is a master of getting his athletes to peak at the right time so don't be surprised if she runs even faster come the world final.
Marie-Josée Ta Lou: The Ivorian Dynamo Marie-Josée Ta Lou's explosive starts and her ability to maintain speed through the finish line makes her a formidable contender. With a myriad of medals at the World Championships and multiple fourth place finishes at Olympic Games, she has consistently proven herself on the global stage yet she is still missing that vital global title. She's been looking better than she ever has this year with a season's best of 10.75 seconds which she has ran twice both times beating Shericka Jackson. Can she continue her undefeated streak through to the World Championships? Well her biggest enemy is herself as she tends to blaze through the heats and semi-finals then falls short in the final. Take the Tokyo Olympics, Ta Lou ran a then personal best of 10.78 in the heats then a 10.79 in the semis to ultimately run 10.91 in the final to finish in a disappointing fourth place. If she can manage the rounds better this time around a potential sub 10.7 second clocking is in her grasp and a potential gold medal seems to be in reach.
Sha'Carri Richardson: The New American Phenom Heralded as the new face of American sprinting, Sha'Carri Richardson's dynamic personality and blazing speed have captured the world's attention. Although she faced her demons throughout the 2021 and 2022 seasons. she seems to have finally conquered them as she's regained her footing with a season's best and personal best time of 10.71 seconds amongst four sub 10.7 seconds runs. However, similarly to Marie-Josée Ta Lou, she struggles to manage rounds as in this year's United States Championships she ran 10.71 seconds in the heats then 10.75 seconds in the semi-finals then ultimately ran 10.82 in the finals. It's quite obvious to see that Sha'Carri is a great young talent in the sport and as long she tweaks some minor issues such as her starts and aforementioned round management: she could most defiantly rise above to dominate the sport in the next few years.
The Dark Horses: Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, Marie-Josée Ta Lou and Sha'Carri Richardson have massively pulled away from any other competitors coming into these World Championships however, there are a few dark horses who, if any of the aforementioned four slip up, could potentially sneak onto the podium. One being Saint Lucia's Julien Alfred the collegiate star who currently holds a season's best of 10.83 seconds and a wind-aided time of 10.72 . Along with Alfred the ever-present Dina Asher-Smith holds a good claim to potentially sneak a medal as she is rounding into form perfectly at the time as she currently holds a season's best time of 10.85 seconds.
Final Verdict And Prediction: As the countdown to the Women's 100m draws closer, the excitement is palpable. Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, Marie-Josée Ta Lou, and Sha'Carri Richardson are set to captivate the world with their speed, finesse, and determination.
For my prediction, it goes as follows:
Shericka Jackson - 10.62 (PB) (SB (CR) (WL)
Marie-Josée Ta Lou - 10.68 (PB) (SB) (NR) (AR)
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce - 10.73 (SB)
Sha'Carri Richardson - 10.79
Julien Alfred - 10.82 (SB)
Dina Asher-Smith - 10.84 (SB)
Daryll Neita - 10.89 (PB) (SB)
Brittany Brown - 10.93

Honestly I love fashion but can't always buy the stuff I find, due to stupid constraints like money and space, so instead I just collect a little list of the sites with styles I like in a folder and sometimes when Im bored or feeling wistful, I'll pull one out and browse their new collection to see what I'm missing out on.
Current top contender I am desperate to get one of these days would have to be this possum dress
Especially since I already have a possum necklace and earrings

heyo, 5 and 18 for the ask game?
5, anything you haven't drawn yet but want to?
There's a list 😂 Currently the main contender is a sona redesign, but I'd also love to do more fanart! I have things in mind for at least 5 different fics, so expect lots of it in the future:D
18, do you have any larger projects you'd like to pursue? Like comics, short film, a series etc?
...so I may or may not be working on a single page comic strip right now 👀 I've had to put it aside because of life stuff, but hopefully it'll be done by the end of the month! Fluffy LL ethubs:D
Aside from that, I would love to get into animatics. Dosent matter if theyre for a fic or a series, either way I have so many ideas. Gotta figure out how to animate first, but research/learning is gonna be my summer project!
