i thought of an hms au and i wanted to know if anyone else done this already

so, for context. HMS don't hate Each other, because the concept of whole never existed, they all just wanted a human form (which happened in mucka blucka. During mucka blucka they realized "hey why fight, we all want the same thing so lets just be friends" and yeah)

so instead of making it himself, Mind made soul's trident. Mind really likes forgery and thinks its calming. after soul mastered the trident he wanted to help mind make everyone weapons... yes, even darell. and so this whole combat thing started.

Mind wanted to make himself a weapon similar to a mace, Except it isn't attached by chains. but stuck to the handle. he also modified it and made gave it two more spike balls attached by wood planks that can also be detached and thrown like throwing knives. he also made himself some flashbangs as a,,,, just in case.

Heart has a Short-bow and a Cross-bow both with different uses. The short bow is mainly for Crowd-control and speed and movement based events. the short-bow is swift with kinda bad accuracy meaning it can do a bit of damage (mainly in short range) but not as much as the cross-bow. The cross-bow is used for accuracy and single-targets. think of a sniper rifle but as a crossbow for easier reloads. The cross-bow has a laser scope on it for heart to be able to see even further and better (mind installed it after the juno incident)

The juno incident is also different?? while mind was making the crossbow's speed. it accidentally misfired and shot heart's right eye rendering it useless. so he has his bandana on his had but its vertical instead of horizontal

Soul has his trident (obviously) and a lot of mini tridents to throw. like strong throwing knives which he forged himself with extra metal mind allowed him to use

darell has spiked armor so he wont die on soul. if he dies soul kills everyone and escapes to the nearest forest.

oh yeah, the weapons names: (heart's shortbow is called swiftness and the crossbow is called Zodiac) [mind's modded mace is called oblivion] {soul's trident is called Dimension (also called BIG FORKY by heart and mind when chilling out in their house) mini tridnets are called little forkys}

Operation "Fall of the Hooded Hawk": For situations where one half of skk has to shoot without having clear vision, and relies on the direction of their partner. In this case, Chuuya was giving Dazai coordinates of where to fire by tapping against his ear. (It's kind of like a trust fall)

I scripted a whole followup conversation with more explanation of what exactly the mirror was, and just general context, but this comic has gotten so long that I'm gonna write that as a short scene in prose, because it's mostly dialogue and if I try to draw it all then I think my hands will secede from my body lol — I'll probably be able to get that done in the next couple of days. But in the meantime, thanks for reading! :D

when a living weapon whumpee only takes orders from ONE person. They’ve been conditioned to ignore everyone else’s orders. This means that after rescue, the team can barely get whumpee to drink or allow them bandage their injuries. One of the teammates manages to imitate whumpee’s handler by deepening their voice.

They stay out of whumpee’s line of sight, standing behind their hospital bed. “Drink this,” they snap, hating how they have to command this broad-shouldered ghost of a person. Without their armor, without their mask, whumpee looks like a wraith. There’s nothing behind their eyes. They play with the hospital blanket with twitching hands that have strangled and maimed.

When whumpee hears the order they stiffen to attention and take the cup offered with those still-shaking hands. But the cup slips through their fingers and lands in a puddle on the tiles.

They immediately tense up, shoulder blades flung so far back they touch. Their breathing quickens, waiting.

But nothing happens.

They give whumpee a new glass of cold water. This time, they lift the cup to whumpee’s lips and hold it steady, with one hand behind their head for support.
