This isn’t really a request but I was on tik tok and there was one where a dad was taking off his babies helmet (like the ones that reshape their head) and now I’m just picturing tech designing his kids helmet to look like a bad batch helmet and I love your tech with baby fics so I thought you might also find this cute

This one-shot does not contain spoilers for season three. Please do not discuss spoilers in the comments.

We all know that the boys would be the best fathers, and Tech would always try to do his best by his kids. And I know that you said this wasn't a request but it's so cute I had to write it.

Cute (Tech x Reader + Baby)

Warnings: None, just fluff. And babies.

It had been years since any kind of fighting or missions by the time you had your first child, so it made you pause when you came downstairs one morning to find Tech's helmet sitting on your kitchen table.

"Tech?" You called out.

Tech threw open the front door, arms laden with bottles of different shades of paint, "Yes, darling?"

"Where's the baby?" You asked.

Tech turned his back to you, and your baby cooed happily, reaching his hands out for you. He looked absolutely ridiculous in the head-shaping helmet that the doctors were having him wear, but he was still your little baby.

"Hello my handsome boy," You took him from the baby backpack, kissing as much of his face as you could, "Did you and your buir have an adventure this morning?"

"He was fussing earlier, and I wanted to allow you to rest as much as you could," Tech explained, dumping his paints on the table with his helmet. He began comparing various shades to the colors on his helmet.

"Thank you," You almost swooned at his admission, "What are you working on this morning?" Usually, Tech was out in his shed at this point, working with a dozen or so spare parts rather than paint.

His datapad rang with the alarm tone that meant you could remove the baby helmet for a few minutes.

"Aha! Just in time!" Tech tickled the baby under his chin before releasing the strap that held the helmet in place, setting it on the table next to his own helmet.

"Oh!" You said in realization. Tech produced a stylus out of one of his many pockets and began to trace shapes in the styrofoam helmet, echoing the shapes and patterns on his own.

"Yes, I thought it looked rather plain. My brothers and I always made our own helmets look unique, so why not do the same for him," He nodded to the baby and selected one of the larger brushes to paint the base coat.

You snorted, "You know, it's not as unique if you're just making it look like your own."

"So we should let him decide? I fear if we were to allow that he would simply eat the paint." Your son cackled out a laugh, as if that were the funniest idea anyone had ever shared.

"Well, you are his father, so he might as well look just like you, but we should try and let him give it his own touch."

Tech shrugged, and selected another brush. "Very well."

You prepared a bottle for baby's breakfast, and started some coffee for yourself and your husband.

"Are you going to put those little lightning bolts on the earmuffs? Those were cute."

Tech spluttered, "They are not earmuffs, they are- wait, did you say cute?"

You giggled, and your son shared your enthusiasm.

"You know, I think they were what made me fall for you in the first place."

Tech's cheeks flushed as he tried to hide behind his helmet. "W-well, I sanded them off after our last escape from Kamino, but...I suppose I could repaint them...if they are cute..."

"Cuu!" Your baby boy squealed. He dropped his bottle to clap his hands.

"Tech!" You screamed, though he was right there with you, "He said cute!"

"I'm not sure that counts, darling-"

"It does! It totally does! Tech, he just said his first word!" By now you were jumping up and down and dancing around the kitchen. You leaned over the table to place a big kiss on Tech's cheek, accidentally knocking over his tray of paint in the process.

"Oops," You froze as the paint splattered all over Tech's lap. Your baby laughed again.

Tech shrugged, "Is this your way of saying you want to help me paint the helmet, darling?"

You burst into laughter again, and Tech stood up, pulling you and the baby in for a hug.

"Tech! You're getting paint all over me!" You laughed.

"That is your own fault, darling," He grinned, kissing your face and holding you closer.

"Cuu! Cuu!" Your baby cooed, grabbing at his father with sticky fingers.

Tech sighed, "Yes, ad'ika, I believe this is what you would call 'Cute'."

Hunter

As soon as he realizes (after Order 66, presumably on Pabuu) that he now has the opportunity to lead a new life, and he finds the right partner, he really likes the idea of having children. In fact, he wants many children, at least four, preferably five or six. So you have a few siblings. Hunter is a very active Dad and likes to take his kids outdoors, camping, fishing, survival training and open fire barbecues. Boys and girls have to go, he makes no exception. For him, this is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the kids and teach you something in the process. He is fair, he treats all his children equally, although he is always a little more worried about his daughters, which comes automatically and he probably doesn't even realize it. Hunter values his children being able to make their own decisions, within reason, of course. There are rules that you must not break, otherwise you will be punished. He is gentle but also strict when necessary. However, he would never hit his children, not under any circumstances. In his opinion, a parent who has to hit their children to get their point across has failed entirely at being a parent.

Hunter will always openly involve his partner in parenting issues, no one is the good guy or the bad guy here. You all spend a lot of time outdoors, in the woods or by the sea, Hunter hopes that he can pass on his love of nature to you

Echo

He hesitates for quite a while before he really thinks about starting a family. It is only on Pabuu that the thought occurs to him for the first time. Echo is not planning a large family, one child, maybe two. He wants to stay within his means. Children have to be looked after, everything costs credits, and he wants to be able to offer his offspring everything, not just what children like to have, but also what they urgently need. Medical care, education and so on. All of which costs credits and, given the circumstances, it is unlikely that Echo and his brothers will become particularly rich. Echo therefore remains rather sensible in his family planning. He's the Dad who's very good at telling stories, when you first ask him to do it he's unsure at first, but he quickly catches fire for it, disguising his voice to mimic the characters in the story. His evening readings before bedtime are a real highlight, and somehow bedtime isn't so stupid when Daddy Echo is there to read stories.

So you probably only have one sibling, and you are both very loved and well cared for. Echo is overprotective, though, especially when you are young. He keeps a very close eye on what you do, where you go, who you hang out with, what you consume and so on. He makes sure you eat a balanced nutrition and usually cooks for the whole family himself whenever he can. Children often tend to perceive such behavior as sabotage or restrictive, but Echo does it out of pure love and concern for his kids.

Wrecker

Children love him, and he loves children. He is the first of his brothers to think about family and children, even before Hunter. If he finds a partner who will go along with the whole thing, he will have up to twelve children. Some of them adopted. He would love to look after all the children in the world. The giant has a heart that is as big as it is soft. Wrecker is playful and approachable, he will always go out of his way to make time for all his children, play games and visit amusement parks. But he also makes time for serious things and always has an open ear. So you probably have a lot of siblings and things are probably often pretty chaotic, but in Wrecker's house there is not only chaos, but also love and team spirit. It's important to him that you all learn to look out for each other, stand up for each other, be decent and never let anyone treat you badly.

Among your siblings are many adopted children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Wrecker wants to show all his children how good life can be, what there is to discover and learn and what is really important, that you are all loved, without exception.

Tech

You are most likely an only child. He is not only your father, but also your teacher. You're home-schooled, partly because of the Empire and the danger of being discovered. Besides, Tech is sure there is no better teacher than him.

Sometimes Tech has to be slowed down a little by his partner, every now, and then he tends to challenge you too much, but this balances out and Tech is very considerate and adaptable when you point this out to him.

Tech loves to tell stories, but also loves to listen. He is fascinated by seeing the world through your eyes, so he loves to listen to you talk and ask questions, describing things as you see them.

From a very early age, you have your own astromech on which Tech teaches you various things and which accompanies you everywhere. The astromech is practically like a pet and develops its own personality over time, evolving with you and your work on it over the years, so to speak.

Tech is a calm, level-headed representative, but also a protector. He will always look after you, no matter how old you are, you will always be his child and he will always be there when you need him.

Crosshair

You're an only child. Crosshair never really thought about having children, but at some point it happened. Don't worry, it may not have been planned, but Crosshair is getting to know a whole new side of himself through your existence. For him, being a father is like an instinct, his protective instinct, the caring, comes from deep within him. No matter how scared he was when you were born, he is a very proud father. Crosshair teaches you everything he knows, he cares, he protects you. He is very skeptical when you bring new friends home, he scrutinizes everyone and makes most of your friends a little nervous. But he's basically harmless as long as you're treated well. Crosshair likes to take you with him, teach you about things, listen to your stories. You'll hear him grumble now and again, but you'll also see him smirk. Every minute you spend with him is precious to him.

It is important to him that you never let yourself get down and that you don't bow your head to others and make yourself smaller than you are. You are something special, he tells you that again and again. Crosshair is sometimes stoic and can also be quite strict, but never to an exaggerated degree. Your safety is important to him, he doesn't compromise on that.

Rex

You probably have two or three siblings. Rex is as loving as he is strict. It's important to him that his children are decent, so he sets some rules, and he ensures that you follow them. Respect is important, but so is knowing that you have the same right to be treated with respect. Discipline and decency are just as important in his house as love and affection. Rex is an upright soldier, and this is also evident in his role as a father. Rex is not overly strict, but he insists on the rules he has laid down. This includes tidiness, so your rooms will rarely look like a bomb has gone off. Rex makes sure that you put your things away yourself and teaches you to treat your property and that of others with care. He likes to tell stories, makes the typical dad jokes and tries to make you laugh, no matter how often you tell him that his jokes are embarrassing. Rex just grins and already has the next joke on the tip of his tongue. Rex is a provider and a carer, it's in his nature. His children will never want for anything, he will see to that, no matter how difficult that may be at times.

Is Feel Good Friday a thing? What about Family Friday?

I redid a piece of art I did last year: it had so many sloppy errors in it, but I loved the subject matter and the composition. Back to the drawing board.

That subject matter? Post-Far Past the Ring. Omega’s been named as a page for President Camina Drummer and Tech is Chief Systems Engineer for the Transport Union. They’re wearing their respective uniforms.

The little girl is Meg Drummer, Tech’s daughter with Camina’s cousin, Sjael. Yes, she has her own version of Lula, named ‘Maraudah’ (the Belter accented version of ‘Marauder’) and painted like her daddy’s old armor.

Danny and Ellie take a small, reincarnation, vacation from their duties in the Infinite Realms (King Danny and his most trusted Knight/Princess Ellie). Don't worry, they leave the Realms in good hands (Jazz, Pandora, Frostbite, CW, etc, basically Danny's main council takes over for a few years)

They both weren't expecting to wake up in an assassin cult though.... Nor to find out they're five year old twins now... Twin, somewhat clones of the leader and this guy Red Robin their 'father' is kinda obsessed with....

Great their 'father' is an insane assassin leader fruitloop and their 'dad' is named after a fast food joint... whose barely out of his teens btw.

Danny al Ghul Danyal, cast a glance as his full blooded and twin sister this time around Helen Ellie al Ghul who rolled her eyes as they listened to their 'father' ramble on and on about their 'dad' and how they were created to be his heir (Danny mostly, though he had plans on Ellie going to be trained to be his body guard by someone named Lady Shiva soon)

Yeah, no. Ellie dealt with one evil fruitloop father who cloned her once before, she's not dealing that again or falling for the 'I created thus I love you but not really' bs. They need to leave, like yesterday.

Hopefully their 'dad' is... okay he doesn't need to be okay with it at first but hopefully comes around to it, okay with the two of them showing up on his doorstep soon.

And you know what, they're gonna bring him a gift.

His spleen. Yeah it'll be good to give that back to him.

Since you know that was how they got clones to begin with... Maybe don't leave your DNA with people that can make clones next time.

My personal headcanon is that Tech got Echoed AKA Empire used his knowledge/experience/memories to train CXs troopers - that's why clone assassins got so good at fighting the batch - they're flash trained based on Clone Force 99 tactics. Following that headcanon of mine... CX2 was, to a degree, Tech... just as he was Crosshair, Wrecker, Hunter and Echo or more precisely... what Tech knew about his brothers and their capabilities/fighting style.

But I also believe showrunners are aiming to have Tech rescued in a different show (or a tie-in comics or a book) to have another property tied tightly to Filoniverse... also to strengthen my theory - J. Corbett admitted that she loves Marvel's Winter Soldier movie - make of that what you will.

The ending of TBB s3, in my opinion, teases an idea of a show circling around rebellion in which Omega will be at least secondary/supporting character so I think they'll make her rescue her fallen brother in her own show as a minor plot point or at least a TBB cameo.

I don't care either way as long as CF99 will be properly reunited.

So we were watching the finale of a show where one of the villains realizes he’s fucked and you can see it in his face.

My dad, being, well, my dad, had to pause and gleefully tell us that in the army, they had some unofficial hand signals.

“Cover me, I’m fucked”

“Fuck you, I’m covered”

And my mind INSTANTLY went to the Bad Batch using these hand signals.

Bonus if they’re the ONLY hand signals Wrecker can remember.

(Echo joins the squad and is so goddamn confused about what his brothers are signaling, especially when they start using the signals outside of training or missions. He starts to get the gist of it when Hunter signals ‘cover me’ when he has to go get reprimanded and Crosshair just grins back at him and responds ‘I’m covered’.)

Tim... Tim just stared.

He...

Huh.

He had once entertained the idea that he wasn't really a Drake, a very long time ago when he overheard his mom and dad arguing and some words were said in the heat of the moment, but to be honest Tim always thought the obvious culprit of anyone being his dad would most likely be Bruce (Bruce even admitted he had a small fling with his mother but that was two years before her marriage)

But before little Tim's curiosity could really take hold on the idea, he had saw on the news Robin performing a Grayson flip and the hint of Tim not being a Drake left his mind. Robin was Dick Grayson! And if he was Robin that had to mean Bruce Wayne was Batman!

Then well... his stalking of the Bats started and the rest became history.

But now, as Tim was staring at his own DNA test, something he never bothered to do until that damned Demon brat wanted to make sure he was ONLY blood son of Bruce (and doing a DNA test something even Bruce never thought of doing due to well… how he was towards Tim during his first months as Robin)

He well…

He kinda needs to find out who this Daniel Jackson Fenton is.

(Tim finds out he isn’t a Drake, but also not a Wayne (because Damian wanted to make sure he was only blood son) but is instead a Fenton)
