• blankie!! he has a blankie!! it’s actually not a blankie at all but the scrap remains of a poncho from one of melinda’s disguises (which drew him to it even if he didn’t remember why) but whatever it’s blankie now and he’s very insecure about it in the way that it’s always in his hand (his biggest tell for being tiny) and people can look but don’t touch. no matter how much he trusts someone he gets paranoid they’re gonna take it away from him

• hat is always on, scarf is on frequently no matter what he’s wearing. if he’s wearing baby clothes he’ll still have those on because they feel like part of who he is and they make him feel safe :) also like his dips the scarf hides his paci if he ever needs to be a big boy when he isn’t in that space mentally, and the best part of being mute is that he can have his paci through all his travels because he doesn’t talk so no one will notice it impeding his speech or anything >:) hehe baby time all the time

• his favorite activities include tummy time and back time (with those baby toys, idk the name for them but they’re like an arch/bar over a soft cushion with dangling toys to bat at while baby lies on their back), building with blocks, being read aloud to (he loves hearing his cg’s voice after so many years of no one to speak to him), coloring and finger painting, naptime (but he likes to pretend to pout and sulk when he’s told it’s naptime because lots of real babies fuss over naps, but he cracks immediately when you call him out), playing with noisemaker toys like rattles and when he regresses to closer to a toddler age he likes playing dress-up and having tea parties!

• soooo many stuffies and just a little clap brings them right to life! he’ll collect a dozen stuffies and then he’ll collect a dozen more

• usually very sweet and well behaved unless he’s having one of his rare really bad days, because again I think he’s either an extremely sweet good baby or a fussy upset nightmare and there is no in between aside from when he gets weepy sometimes

• if he does get in trouble he’s not good with punishments, usually he needs to be held and gently explained to why what he did wasn’t good, because I completely agree that he always wants his carer in his line of sight and so being put in time out and not allowed to go to them or be snuggled gets him stressed and he immediately starts thinking they hate him and won’t come back for him (he’s been in time out for one minute)

• loves being helped with little things especially getting dressed. all his nomad gear is so hard to put on when you’re such a tiny guy :(

• he regresses between ages 0-3 I think and he much more commonly lands on the very young end of his spectrum

Crying over Nomad just seeing too much of Melinda in Skout to really see Skout as anything past a playmate/buddy ;o; They probs tried once but Nomad just got too emotional when he saw Skout wiggling her finger at one of the rock friends (it reminded him of Melinda's magic and he instantly tried to protect Skout in case "anyone saw her do magic" ) maybe when they reach the Iron Border Nomad (and Skout!) meet someone more in a position to be a carer hehe

fnaf movie teaser trailer is out so here are my initial thoughts i wrote when it first came out + my expanded thoughts now that i am not half asleep and running on adrenaline. (this note was also titled “FNAF TRAILER FUCK YEAH” in my notes, so that is the vibe im going for here)

expanded thoughts:

- LOVE the 80s vibe in the vhs, especially the uniform/outfit the employee is wearing. she has so many pins. i definitely feel like this movie is going to capture the feel of the games super well, even if the story doesn’t quite match up.

- plus, all the game references! the Foxy plushie, the showtime button, the toreador march (and all the things you can see when Mike walks into the abandoned pizzeria — the prize corner, posters, and ESPECIALLY the security office) is so cool to see. again, i definitely think i will love the vibe of this movie, and i hope they nail the creepy atmosphere that made the original game so classic. i do think that i will have a heart attack and die as soon as i see one of the animatronics move tho.

- on that note — man, they look so good! ofc they do since it was Jim Henson’s Creature Shop that made them all, but holy shit they look so so great. i can’t remember if they ever said if costumes would be used, but i do remember that they casted voice actors! i do still hope some of the og voice actors get a cameo or smth, maybe just as guests of the pizzeria or on a television ad.

- i still stand by my “i hope the animatroincs sing a song in the movie a la Willy’s Wonderland style”. it’s definitely going on my bingo sheet and it’s one of those things i’ve always wanted to see. also, i did identify the song playing in the beginning (“i hear the secrets that you keep …”) and it is “Talking In Your Sleep” by The Romantics. it came out in 1983 though which is kinda funny. but also, 80s soundtrack confirmed?

- again, i do have the feeling that this is the “official” training tape for security guards, and Phone Guy (or whoever the equivalent of him is, maybe the guard that gets murked at the end) will still be there on recordings. even if it’s not Scott (which i don’t particularly care if it is or not), i still hope they include at least a nod or reference to him, even if this vhs lady is taking over the brunt of exposition and whatnot.

- SO ONTO THE SAW TORTURE DEVICE. my first thought was that it was maybe a springlock suit, but since people have pointed out the original Phone Guy line of “stuffing people into suits was deadly bc they were full of metal and wires and sharp things especially around the face area”, i think this is just a regular suit that’s been weaponized or twisted in some way. on that note, i am split half and half between “Mike actually gets captured and stuffed inside” and “Mike is just having a nightmare about the animatronics”. to be fair to Mike, i think everybody has nightmares about their minimum wage jobs.

- okay, so unpopular opinion, but i actually don’t mind the red eyes upon further reflection! they look kinda goofy, but i think it fits the vibe of the movie overall, and also i am always down for the “eye colour indicates mental state” trope. so, i’m digging it.

- THE MISSING KIDS!! sorry, i’m so excited over them lol. looking closer at them, i do think it’s going Bonnie (blue/purple shirt with bunny ears) — Freddy (brown striped shirt) — Foxy (red shirt and one hand all wrapped up) — Golden Freddy (top hat) — Chica (yellow and white dress). i have a feeling that this movie will probably just stick with the core five for now, bc i think trying to introduce the Puppet into this will make it way more complicated than it needs to be. but i also think it’s interesting that they’re in a forest? Mike is obviously having a dream or vision of some kind, but why manifest in a forest and not like the pizzeria itself? interesting, interesting.

- and now we have William! as others have stated, i am very glad with the direction they took him in. i always dislike the designs that make William look super old/greasy/creepy, and on the flipside, that ones that make him look super charming and suave. this guy managed to lure and kill multiple kids and get away with it for decades, so i think he needs to have a very friendly, warm, almost grandpa-like vibe to him (with just a hint of “oh he’s a lil fucked up actually”). make him too obviously creepy and there was no way he would be getting away scot-free (ha) for so long, but make him too charming and he comes across as a shady business man which kids would not be willing to follow in a back room. so, perfect vibe. i will go into a bit more detail below about where he is/what he’s doing, but i think the office choice is very interesting.

- this shot of the security guard getting killed is definitely going to be a cold opening tho. i can feel it in my bones. it’s going to open with this shot (or close to open) before cutting to Mike. i know what it’s going to do i am calling it right now,

- i have also come to realize that is Foxy’s foot stomping the ball and not a random endo nobody look at me

- i made an into the pit joke but i do think it would be very very cool if they included a nod to the fans like playing a bit of the melody of a popular fansong on a radio/tv or something like that. not something that i an explicitly hoping for, but would be super neat to include.

- i am making all my friends come see this movie with me they cannot argue with me bc it is the day before my birthday and they cannot argue with the birthday boy

predictions:

so, i think there are two ways this movie can go;

1) Mike is not William’s son

this is where i think this movie is going, just based off this trailer alone. i think William is the current Fazbear Ent./pizzeria owner who hires Mike (explaining why he is in an office), and Mike has no idea what he is getting into other than that he is a security guard. based off that one leaked clip of Mike beating up a guy in a mall, i think he got fired from his previous job, and is taking this one as a last resource to support his sister. while working there, he begins to experience visions of the missing kids and works to uncover the secrets of the place. i also think that he gets captured by the animatroincs (or William) at some point, and his sister Abby arrives to come save him, explaining why there’s the shot of him in the saw torture trap, he comes into the pizzeria alone, and all shots of Abby so far she is alone and the animatronics are already aggressive.

flaws in this idea though? idk how Vanessa (and the currently unnamed female villain) fit into this. but otherwise i think it’s pretty solid. the second way i think this movie will go is …

2) Mike IS William’s son

i think this one is least likely, but knowing that Scott wrote this movie and that the original decided script was about Michael Afton, i do think it’s a possibility. basically, much like in the games, Mike is William’s son who vaguely knows of his dad’s shitty deeds, and is trying to escape his past until he has the opportunity to work as a security guard at an old restaurant. the saw trap scene and the missing kid visions are nightmares sparked by his past, possibly things he saw/knew about while living with his dad. in that case, William is currently missing (and the scene in his office is a flashback) and the “unnamed female villain” is the current Fazbear ceo/worker who hires Mike on.

flaws in this idea? Abby — unless she is also William’s daughter and is a stand-in for Elizabeth, i do not know how this could work. if Mike adopted her as his sister, i feel like they do not have time for that plotline. and, once again, i have no clue how Vanessa factors into all this.

(my best guess for Vanessa is that in both plots she knows of William’s crimes and is trying stop him/free the ghosts, but in the first plot she works with Mike since he is new and clueless and in the second one against him bc she believes he is still working with his father. but i’m not sold on either of those yet).

so, my best guess overall is number 1, but honestly i would be happy with either. i am just so excited for this movie and can’t help but write about it, as i usually do. whatever ends up happening better be fun, though. i do not want to be bored during this lmao.

Idk, it's funny to think that SilkWing au Iris wears Lance's cape w pride, bc ofc, that's her dad's cape yknow, smth he always had, smth that gave him comfort too maybe, and he passed it down to her, going on how she's gonna be a great Dragon Master and Champion soon, and ofc she's not gonna let him down

Then there's villain au Iris who wanted nothing more than to take off that cape placed on her shoulders, wanted nothing more than to burn it until it's nothing but ashes, wanted nothing more than to lash out and rage and sob her almost empty heart out how heavy it was, being burdened by Lance's sins

Like imagine these two meeting tho, or switching places for like a day maybe cause I've been thinking abt this concept for a while, like these two switch and such hahah

And there's SilkWing au Iris, imagine that confrontation w Diantha right before the battle, and like yknow everyone fuckin stopped bc there's this sudden light and then it's gone and like everyone's fucking vibing. Then Iris is there, held in Hilbert's arms, she wakes up all "ow.. my head.. what happened?" She looks up, sees Hilbert, all "Hilbert! Wait, how did I get here in Unova?"

And ofc, that kinda,, set em off cause what does she mean by that she was always in Unova. "What..?"

She stands up, and sees the rest of her friends, "oh, everyone's here! What's going on? Last I remembered I was in Mahogany with Silver."

"Iris, what? Who's Silver?"

She gives him a look, "Hilbert, cmon, I always talk about my brother to you. You two even battled once! Don't tell me you forgot about him," shaking her head, she chuckled, "well, you are a bit scatterbrained."

Any other day, he would've shoved her playfully for that, they always tease each other and such yknow, but now he's just so confused. But still terrified that Diantha and even the champions were still w them. Iris was looking around now, sees the other champions, then turned, seeing Diantha at the other end of the field. She smiled, almost relieved really.

"mom! You're here!" Just as she was about to run to Diantha, Hilbert grabbed her hand, gripping tight. "Hilbert? What's wrong?" But Hilbert only looked at her w fear in his eyes, she never saw Hilbert like this before.

"Iris.. what did you call her..?"

Her head was honestly spinning, her friends know her parents, they've been to Johto, they even stayed w her for a few days. So why would he even ask that?

"Hilbert, you've met my parents already, why do you seem so surprised?"

And man just cjmdnd Diantha stepping in and telling Iris that her friends might just be tired doing their own things or smth, and Iris believing that yknow, almost going w Diantha. But like, Lance taught her better, the more she looked at Diantha, the more she noticed there was smth wrong. Her mother's eyes weren't cold like the ones before her right now.

Just as Diantha prompted her to follow her, so they could head back home, Iris stopped dead in her tracks. She looked at Diantha, at the other champions, then at her friends, then back to Dia.

"Uhm.. well, where is Silver, anyway? You said there was just a meeting set here in Unova, just for the Champions, but why isn't Silver here?"

And it was Lance who spoke, "Silver's at home, Iris. Now let's go home too."

But still, there was smth off, then she said, "okay, last one.. can you tell me why you two are here..?"

That stopped Diantha in her tracks, and Lance was there almost glaring at her.

"aren't.. aren't you two not Champions anymore? I'm Indigo's Champion now, and Silver became Kalos' Champion. Since we became Champion, the two of you stopped joining the meetings too. So.. why are you here..?"

Diantha chuckled at that. Smart girl. "You seem very aware now, impressive. A shame, you could've been a better Iris than what we have here."

And man was she pissed it took her a while to figure out. But Lance taught her abt body language, abt how to tell if someone is lying, he taught her how to be observant, to notice even the slightest of changes in ones demeanour, and ofc she's gonna make her father proud. But she knows how to retreat yknow, just as Diantha was abt to call out her pkmn, Iris called out her Charizard, commanding it to use smokescreen, giving her and the Unova kids time to escape.

i got a coffee today.

i was on my way to the city, it’s an hour away, and i was kind of hungover from smoking a joint last night- 

i do that sometimes i’ll go outside when it’s dark, and i’ll wade through drifts of snow in a pair of sweat pants and a flannel shirt, and i’ll push the barn doors open- 

we have a barn, it’s this great big old thing that’s been next to my house since we moved in and we use it to put our firewood in, it’s this big old brown barn that smells like wood and dust and mildew and gasoline and tires and the tree branches looming above it creak like hell when it’s windy and i’ll push the barn doors open and they always swing back shut but that’s okay because there’s a light inside the barn, anyways, 

i’ll stand inside this barn and smoke a joint and sometimes the train goes by, and even though it’s kind of far away, well, not far away, more like just down the hill by the path, but even though it’s kind of far away, i can feel it in my chest, this rumbling that i feel in my ribcage and when the train whistle blows, i feel it vibrate my heart, and i hear it rattle through the town, and i think about how it comes every day at around the same time, except on sundays, but even then it still comes on sundays sometimes, and id like to think i know the scheduele of the train, but really i probably dont, anyways-

Javy will be bringing you all sorts of snacks if bring pregnant gives you a sweet tooth.

When you are super pregnant, alot of the days you have when Jake is free, especially weekends, will just be spent both of you sitting together on the couch, in the backyard, wherever, you leaning against him, reading a book with his arm around you, finger tips caressing the bump where possible.

Oh oh and sex? Never been better - especially when the pregnant hormones kick in and there is that trimester where you want sex all the time. Doesn’t help that Jake thinks with the bump, you are absolutely a fucking sex goddess carrying his child.

There was once you were both on the way to dinner while your bump just starting showing. You both ended up fucking in his truck somewhere, missing your reservation and ended up grabbing burgers for dinner.

how i’d fix tdroti (this is mostly just an idea dump for now and it’s easily subject to change):

the overall season is longer with more reward challenges sprinkled in. that way, we get to know the characters more. also the first episode is a two-parter with the first elimination in the second episode.

more friendships and positive interactions between the girls PLEASE. some friendships i want explored include (but are not limited to) dawn/dakota, jo/zoey, and jo/anne maria (though i do think the last one is more of an enemies-to-friends kind of scenario where they come to respect each other over the season).

just… more friendships and duos in general other than the mike + zoey + cameron trio pls. there’s so much potential. lightning and sam. cameron and b. brick and dawn. brick and anne maria (!!!!!).

i want staci to be kinda rewritten so that she doesn’t just lie about her great-great-great-grandma inventing the wheel or smth. i want it so that she lies more about other things and how she’s greater than she actually is. have her lie about her accomplishments or skills (“oh yeah, i’m totally an expert at…”) and then when the time comes to prove herself, have her… kind of back out. i feel like if it’s shown that she lies out of insecurity and inadequacy (especially since each contestant has something unique about them), it’d make her more than just the “annoying character who’s meant to go first” yknow. i mean she’d probably still go home first but you get what i mean.

i also want zoey to be rewritten so she’s more of the “indie chick” she is. what i mean by that is that she should be a bit more openly judgmental and that’s the reason why she can’t make the friends she desperately wants. i mean it already happens in canon but i want it to be more pronounced/notable yknow. her emotional journey would be to realize that all the jocks and preps she dislikes are essentially people at the end of the day, and that she has to open up to other people even though they don’t share her niche interests. basically kind of like gwen but still more bubbly/friendly. she’d also wear glasses.

mike is… a difficult subject because of how badly his character was handled in the original. i don’t have did, so i can’t say much about how i’d portray his did more realistically (ik it’d be easier if i’d just write him out; however, i def know there’s a lot of ppl with did out there who like him and have rewritten him to be more realistic…so i’ll look into that). that being said, i do feel like his (base) personality can be rewritten. he’s shyer, more withdrawn, nervous, and secretive. he has trouble standing up for himself and doesn’t like having a lot of attention on him (which makes working in teams difficult). i also feel like his outfit would be different; he’d wear a baggy hoodie and can occasionally be seen with the hood over his hair.

i think it’d be interesting if dawn basically kind of acts as everyone’s secret psuedo-therapist. she may be odd and kind of invasive when it comes to reading auras, but she’s a nice person who really just wants to be helpful and provide insight.

^ characters that i feel like she’d try to help/befriend based on this (with varying levels of success): zoey, mike, dakota, brick, jo, scott possibly

^^ i also think it’d be interesting if her and scott were either long-term enemies or frenemies

dakota did not need to get mutated midway through the season ok.

^ that being said, i think it’d be interesting to potentially explore the effects of the toxic waste on the other characters as well. like what if cameron got mutated instead? what if dawn’s powers were enhanced? what if lightning got lightning powers fghdshfdjsk there’s so many possibilities

scott does NOT get put in the trauma chair at the end of the season.

Jack Frost Designs Review

Yes it’s finally his time. This is going to include his book designs including previous incarnations in said books. There are more movie concept designs than book so, let’s dig in shall we?

This was in fact the first ever Jack Joyce designed while he came up with The Guardians Of Childhood. He even comes with his own backstory! (Which was cut. Sorry Joyce posts walls of text so it’s a girthy read.)

So instead of a young mischievous trickster, we got a much more depressing story of Jack. (Jack by default is sad obviously) but this one... It kind of hits differently and almost reminds me of the story he crafted for Pitch. A dad who tried to defend his family but through tragic events was ripped from them and changed completely. Design wise, he’s a lot more tree than snow. There doesn’t exist a colored version of this so we’ll never know if he sported winter and dull dead leaf colors rather than grassy greens.This Jack has a weird presence to him, I can’t put my finger on it. Rating: 6/10 He’s really neat! Just a little too Autumn feeling rather than a blend of both Autumn and Winter.

Nightlight feels like the baby evolution if Jack was a pokemon and that's what I’m gonna stick with. Below is a more recent version of him colored.

In all honesty that one is easier on the eyes proportion wise because sometimes Joyce has ‘interesting’ anatomy choices but we aint going into that today. It’s interesting how his hair somehow looks shorter and longer than Jack’s at the same time. Could be because the longer strands float seamlessly but star boy hair physics what can ya do. It’s a little hard to tell what is his skin and what is his armor, so that is a casuality in making a character only have one or two colors in their color scheme. I love other artist’s depictions of Nightlight but the canon one feels a little weak color wise. Rating: 5/10 Sorry, get some better LEDs and then come back.

Here we have a book Jack but I can’t entirely recall if this was used in the books or not. I digress. This design looks like him still wearing very Nightlight-esque armor/clothing and slowly growing into his new persona as Jack Frost. The intricacies are hard to make out but we’ll work with it. This one is very interesting to me because he very much looks like an older teen close to young adult. His hair looks very fluffy too. Not many complaints about this one but not much praise either.

Rating: 6/10 Not great but doesn’t stand out that much.

Remember when I said Joyce had ‘interesting’ anatomy decisions? Jack looks like he has half a head here and it bothers me GREATLY. This is the adult Jack design he went with. Supposedly he likes the opera and he sure looks it. This! Exists!! Kind of wish it didn’t. The outfit is nice but it just doesn’t fit Jack as a whole. This just screams to me that it’s someone else with a similar-ish hairstyle.

Rating: 3/10 Guess he’d be the...Phantom Of The Opera. (I’ll go home and so should he.)

And finally the final Jack. This is the one that almost exactly resembles the Jack we got in the movies(Probably because it was made after the movie but w/e) but just add a cape on him. I can’t really tell if hes got a hoodie and a cape, or just a cloak+hood on top of a sweatshirt. It isn’t too important because my thoughts on this one are obvious. Rating: 10/10 Edna Mode would have a field day with you boy.

MOVIE DESIGN TIME

Joyce claims this is a design he drafted when Leonardo DiCaprio was considered to voice Jack and I can kind of see that with how his face is drawn here. This Jack looks a lot more like a warrior and less of that trickster look. I can’t say I’m a fan of the weird antenna his hood has but his sword is really cool looking.

Rating: 4/10 Nice bow and sword but it can’t save your fashion choices.

This looks like a lanky 11-13 year old who would put rocks or slugs in my shoes and relish in my disgust. He has the exact look of a snot nose kid and I’m unsure how to feel about it.

His various hairstyles drafted here sort of make him softer looking or just more of a snot nose, no in between. Maybe even an Anime Protagonist.

The top right one almost looks like Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon if you squint. It’ll be a little hard to rate them all as one individual but why not.

Rating: 5/10 I don’t hate them but they aren’t my cup of tea.

AH- IS THAT A FUCKIN GREMLIN?

Oh wait no it isn’t he looks like a 10 year old. Whatever don’t feed him after midnight. The staff’s design of not being shaped like a G is an interesting tidbit but the whole design looks like he’s really young or like a troll etc. This Jack looks like he thinks girls have cooties uses outdated slang.

Rating: 4/10 This is me being generous.

It honestly looks like he hiked his pants up all the way to his chest. A late teen with horrid fashion choices once again. Not many other thoughts here.

Rating: 2/10 Get a sweater on or something.

This is one is very interesting looking to me. His clothes looked a lot more leather based and very human-like. The tatters, tears and frays all make him look like he was a victim of an accident that never changed his clothes. It makes me wonder if this Jack had the same death as the final movie Jack or something else entirely. Either way, this one looks like hes a mid to late teen which really adds to my intrigue.

This was another image that greatly resembled the design so I included it here. It almost looks like his skin is blue here which is pretty neat to me at least. He’s also got leaf motifs here, which from the first Jack design Joyce made, we can see a pattern here.

Rating: 8 /10 I was originally weirded out by his head but now its not so bad.

This Jack is definitely dressed more like a nature boy rather than him having human influenced fashion and it’s an appealing touch. The tiny leaf sprouting from his staff is also kind of cute since the designers seemed to want to put leafs somewhere on his designs. His hairstyle is also very cute but it reminds me of Sasuke Uchiha in a sense. (Not a setback for me at least)

Rating: 7/10 13 year old Jack is going thru a phase.

I thought this Jack didn’t show up again in story boards but I was wrong!

They look a little different from each other but just similar enough to pair together, so bare with me. The first one obviously has looser pants, slightly longer sleeves and got his leaf motif going. This second Jack is a VERY green. It gives the impression that this Jack made his clothes out of plants and natural materials. Again I’m not wholly sure if greens fit his color scheme but they sure went for it for a while. I can’t say I’m a fan of it because it heavily reminds me of Peter Pan.

However a very similar looking Jack could be found in this storyboard. It doesn’t look as green as the other storyboards made it out to be and looks more like dead grass. Which is a pretty nice touch.

Rating: 5/10 I don’t hate it but it just doesn’t vibe yknow.

Speaking of a vibe...hoo this certainly has one.  This Jack isn’t old but certainly doesn’t look very young, maybe in the 20-30 range, thats just me. He has facial features that remind me of Pitch but resembles the Jack Frost of Santa Clause 3

That being said, I wondered if him looking similar to Pitch was in the storyline of them being brothers.(Which was a scrapped thing, who knew.) He’s a bit more menacing in this design but certainly seems like he relishes in his work.

Rating: 4/10 I’d make it a lower score but I gotta give it props

NOW THIS JACK IS KINDA INTERESTING. This one looks like he’s 16 and going through a grunge phase. He’s gonna play Nirvana loudly and not turn it down even if you tell him too. His staff itself has mini icicles hanging off of it and leafs look stuck to his shirt. Did you glue or staple those on Jack? His hair also looks much longer than his other designs and I kind of dig it( Shut up I’m bias.) I’m not wholly sure why else this design has stuck with me but it just has something about it that I just love. I wish there was a full body drawing of it.

(He also kinda has the same hair as the Jack Frost in Runescape but I wont go on about that hoo hoo)

Rating: 9/10 *Bad Boy by Cascada plays in the distance*

This one definitely feels like middleschooler trying to be in a band. His sticks just resemble drumsticks to me what can I say. I’m a big fan of his shoes and his color scheme screams a hibernating tree in winter. His hair also looks like it’s covered in frost rather than it being wholly white, which is very neat!! He looks like he wants to fight but has slight hesitance. Overall a very balanced Jack.

Rating: 8/10 He’s ready for band practice

Not many thoughts here, I just found these tiny Jack designs cute. His hoodie being a jacket instead just adds to the charm of this one.

No talk to him he angy.

Rating: 6/10 fun sized boi

Now this Jack resembles the one earlier that dressed entirely in leather brown colors, however he clearly is different than that one. I’m gonna say it, he looks like a zombie or undead in this design and its pretty fucking gnarly. I don’t know whats going on with his hair but I’m gonna assume it’s just the wind making it look like that. He just has the vibe that he was once human but was turned into something else entirely. It isnt in uncanny territory but borders that. This version of Jack meeting Pitch and the others would have been *very* interesting. Rating: 7/10 Eat a twinkie Jack you’ll feel better.

The final design! I can’t complain much about this one. The way his staff subtly has a G shape and a hexagon(his signature shape) is a wonderful touch. Additionally, the way the frost is gathered mostly where his hand is such an intricate detail. His signature hoodie is iconic at this point so I can’t bad mouth that either.(I can’t anyway because there's no complaints from me here.) Although, I never understood the leather straps that his pants had or their functions. I couldn’t find any colonial outfits that resembled Jack’s pants so its a total mystery to me at least.

And I can’t go on about this design until I mention the snowflake pattern in his eyes

Pure beauty. It’s at a hue of blue that almost looks impossible to have, combined with the electric blue color of the snowflake in his eyes. The amount of detail in this movie amazes me to this day. Rating: One Great Blizzard <3/10

-SO YEA ,,, i hope you like getting carried around like a sack of flour and unable to really do much at all, i mean, u can TRY and squirm around or hit at her backc but it usually just results in her tightening her grip on you :[ congrats to u tho because unlike her counterpart / sibling in incident 010a she HASN'T thrown you around !! so enjoy that at least

-eventually, you're allowed to see nevada from a normal view again when you get tossed in the back seat of a car. u don't get the chance to really think too in depth abt the idea when she's already stopping you, making a little 'watching you' gesture before she shuts the door on you. yeah its. not a great first meeting :[

-after u get brought back to her little base of sorts and get questioned by some others (who, are luckily a little bit less physical and generally intimidating), u just kinda. hang around. they've decided ur not a threat and its not like you really have anywhere else to go, aahw would probably just hunt ur ass down again anyway, esp considering you've been seen w/ wank now

-she starts to warm up to you a little more after the fact. you notice really early on that she's actually a lot more emotive and animated when she isn't tearing an agent a new one !! (granted, that's. pretty animated in its own right) she's still got that air of intimidation but for the most part she's pretty light-hearted, so!! it's not as surprising when she keeps checking up on u

-at first u just kinda excuse it as 'oh, she's probably just wondering if i got hurt or if im doing anything sketch' but she just kinda. walks in, asks if ur ok and then just stands there. you can tell there's always something a little bit off but she's usually walking off before you can point it out though. there is one time though where instead of walking off she just kinda. walks over to you, if you have any hobbies like reading, writing, or drawing then that's what she asks about first. she asks if she can watch you / read with you for a little while and so you both just kinda. chill like that. it's a little uncomfortable at first since there's not too much room between you and her on your bed but,,it works (or. yknow. you can always just sit between her legs and have her wrap her arms around ur waist and kinda rest her head on top of urs :flushed:)

-it becomes a routine of sorts after that, she'll come check up on you, see how you're doing, then come lie down with you. it's just..nice, in a way. it helps her calm down a little and she just likes being around you for some reason !! a fully platonic reason of course, you're just her friend who she sometimes thinks about kissing and who she can't help but think about your smile or the way your laugh sounds even when you're not around, fully in a just kinda friends way of course !! nothing more to it and the way she can't help but get giddy whenever she's talking about you !!! bestie behavior. yeah she talks to someone abt how she feels and it takes everything in them to not double over in laughter

-she eventually goes 'hm! fuck!' and realizes she's in gay love w/ u lmao. she's. pretty lost on how to go abt that and it reaaally doesn't help that you both are rlly affectionate w/ one another, so it just makes it harder for her to tell if the feelings are returned or not ,,, chances are she just kinda spontaneously confesses in her own kind-of-nerve-wracking way when you're both hanging out alone. she just kinda. cups ur face and makes you look at her and blurts out some 'i love you' or something

-N E WAY ,,, onto more mismatched hcs.

-she doesn't train w/ you very often since she's nervous about hurting you or exhausting you, she knows ur strong and you can take a lot but,,she still gets a little paranoid about it. however , she does enjoy you watching her train w/ others !! this isn't fun for them however because she does unintentionally go a little harder to impress you lmao ,, wank is not immune to favoritism and it shows

-like said before, she's very affectionate with you and she's not afraid to be so around others. if ur in her viscinity she just!! gotta hold u, its the law man. she just likes wrapping an arm or two around you and pulling you back against her, usually leaves a lot of little kisses on your temple or on top of ur head ,, it's worse if you fluster easily, hope u like being kissed a lot and being picked up bc she WILL do so just to see ur reaction ,, on the bright side though you do get to hear her laugh a lot more often since ur just that cute to her

there are lots of different variations of the SU x GF crossover so I wanted to share my own headcanons! (which apply to all of the comics I’ve made)

General:

It takes place post-SUF and post-GF (no Bill stuff, sorry guys lol)

Steven crosses paths with Stan and Ford while he was still on the east coast, sometime in the late winter/early spring

maybe they invite him onto their boat for a chat and some cocoa idk

Stan gave Steven his beanie (which is why I’ve been drawing Steven wearing a beanie)

They suggested he visit the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls whenever he’s in the area. Stan and Ford would there in the summer for Dipper and Mabel’s birthday, so they hopefully meet again if the timing was right (and it is)

By the late spring/early summer, Steven makes it to Gravity Falls

He initially only plans to stay for a couple days, but gets on well will Soos (and Melody!), and within a day or so the twins arrive, who convince him to work at the shack for the summer

Steven agrees, but leaves when the twins go back to school, since there’s only a small handful of people in Gravity Falls he can actually stand to be around (they’re all a bit to mean for his tastes)

Steven is suuuuper gullible, and can’t quite differentiate between the Mystery Shack gimmicks and the genuinely supernatural. Like I said on this comic, he doesn’t really have a reason to be skeptical of things that are out of the ordinary, and he’s excited by stuff that he knows isn’t caused by gem stuff.

Since Steven is staying in Gravity Falls on his birthday (August 15th), the gems would certainly come visit. They can’t stay for very long, though, since they’re pretty busy nowadays. 

Stan and Ford don’t arrive until mid August, and head back to the Atlantic Ocean shortly after Dipper and Mabel’s birthday

There might still be a corrupted gem or two lurking in the woods, but overall there’s a pretty astonishing lack of gem-related activity. Steven finds himself out of his element (but he’s kind of digging it??)

Mabel learns that Steven has never been to school, and now with her first year’s experience of high school under her belt, convinces her friends, Dipper, and Wendy to let Steven pretend he’s a high school student for a day, and set up a fake classroom with fake homework and everything. 

I usually roll my eyes at suspiciously perfect coincidences, like certain characters previously knowing each other or someone Steven knows just so happens to visit the Mystery Shack while he’s working there, but I do like the concept that Wendy or Robbie is familiar with Sadie’s music. Maybe Steven could let Sadie call them and do a mini-performance over the phone lol

Character dynamics:

Sometimes Steven will state unusual facts about himself so nonchalantly, no one can tell whether he’s fucking with them or not

Like most other iterations of this crossover, Dipper has taken a High interest in solving What’s Up With Steven, even though there’s nothing to solve.

Steven isn’t THAT open. He doesn’t share every little detail about himself, especially regarding his recent trauma. (I mean, it’s extremely personal, why would he yknow)

Dipper actually gets a little jealous of how well Steven and Mabel get along, even when they’re doing stuff he’s not into. Cause like, that’s his sister! >:0

pre-Future Steven would not have been very fond of Dipper, but post-Future Steven definitely is. He sees how much Dipper tries to take himself too seriously and act “grown up”, and it reminds Steven that he needs to be better about that too.

Ford can read gem glyph, to Steven’s delight

Stan has a HUGE soft spot for Steven, especially if he learns his story. He has a bit of overlap in the “faked my death and lived a huge portion of my life under a different identity” department.

Pearl would probably get along with Stan for the same reason

You’d might think Pearl would like Ford cause they’re both “intellectuals” or smth idk but she’d think he’s kind of stuffy and actually her favorite of the bunch would be Soos lol

Stan has also traveled to every state, so he makes sure to pass on to Steven his (frankly very bad) advice.

Steven tries to get along with Wendy’s friends, but quickly realizes how little he vibes with them

Waddles is big now! I can’t decide whether I like him better as a regular pig or a pot-bellied big. Even if he were a pot-bellied pig, after a year he’d be 100 pounds at least, and nearly the size of a large dog. But if he were a regular farm pig, he’d be a b e a s t

Steven wouldn’t fuse with anyone here. The only humans he’s ever fused with are Connie, who is his closest friend and girlfriend, and his dad. I just don’t see it happening.

I may or may not add more as I go. I probably won’t delve into every combination of every single crystal gem and every single Gravity Falls citizen, because 1) there’s too many to count and 2) most of those interactions are probably unlikely to happen anyway.
