A victim of sexual assault. Committed self harm for three years and then tried to overdose and ended up in the hospital and then the mental hospice. Ran away from home at age 15. Joined the army at 15 and a half under a fake name "Scarlet "Delta 12" Lighters." Involved with the crashes: "Tornado," "Hudson," and "Bombard." Came out with her real identity when she turned eighteen and joined the US Air Force.

During her carrier at the USAF, she quickly climbed the ranks-even surpassing her commanding officer, Phillip Graves. At the time, Graves was just Captain. Her husband left her after the ordeal-for an even younger woman. Her husband's name is currently unknown.

Ruby was then transferred, against her will, to the UKAF (United Kingdom Air Forces) and reranked to Corporal. She then was transferred again to the United Kingdom's Task Force 141, where she currently works under Captain Johnathan "Bravo 0-6" Price.

There are rumors of her old team, however. That they are all still alive after the events of [Redacted]. And are plotting revenge for what [Redacted] [Redacted] [Redacted] did to Ruby.

The rumors were proved not true as Ruby found her old team at an old safe house they used during [Redacted]. They were all transferred to Los Vaqueros after she was presumed too ingured to work back in the year 20[redacted]

In the year 20[unknown], she married Simon "Ghost" Riley and had three more children with him, Daisy Kate Riley, Sapphire "Sapphie" Riley, Jason Tomas Riley.

Outside of Shadow Company, he still holds connections to his old unit, some people from church, so on and so forth. Oddly social fella who probably would have Facebook (yes, Facebook) friends from different places. Very subjective.

Friends? He considers people he's friendly enough with as friends - a lot of superior officers in Shadow Company classify as such. (Don't feel comfortable tagging others w/OCs unless I get the go ahead with their dynamic, haha😅)

Close to? Was with his former captain. That blew up in his face. It's a bit hard to say if he's close to anyone in Shadow Company (again, wary of other creators), though...

@mr-1-2-3-4 's Delta has a functional friendship of sorts with Moth.

They are known inside as 75th Regiment Specters, a team created by Cpt. Marchant years after her mission in Angola with some help. She picked them personally, since she knew some of the Drill Sergeants. Heard about every one through them and learnt about their missions, later recruited into the team.

Since the very beggining they were told about the only rule Marchant had, "No one's left behind", after that they molded their own code in combat. They are efficient, quick and deadly, and that's all that their allies care about.

Also they have a coordinator and the only thing the team know about them is their nickname "Wraith". Alicia know her tho, an old friend of hers.

For everyone outside of them, they are just a good team. But reality is that after so many years, they've become a little family. Alicia care deeply for them and treat them as their own. All the boys care for her as much as she does.

There was a time when she got really bad injured during a mission (almost didn't make it), and all of them were basically feral going after the enemies seeking vengance. And the last time someone tried to use one of the boys as hostage...well, it isn't hard to imagine, is it? Marchant is feared because of a reason.

Hii I need some help on making CoD ocs 😭 do people usually do research of military uniforms and tactical equipment of what country the oc originated from or just default clothing added with tactical equipment, does it have to be accurate?

Yes, me and my mutual friends, and usually people who makes CoD OC's would do some research! Search about what? About the military system of the country, your OC originates from!

If they're American, then the military is called the United States Armed Forces (USAF) and is usually divided into six service branches: the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard. If they're from the UK, then the military is called the British Armed Forces, divided into three branches: Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force. Lots of the British regiment names have "Royal" in front of it since it's, you know, British.

or if your OC comes from other countries, you can check the name of the military, the division, and then the 'group' they belong in. Usually, CoD characters commonly belong to the special forces/anti-terrorism group of the country. Like, USA has SEAL, Delta Force, MARSOC, etc., UK has SAS, SRR, SBS, etc., Mexico has FES, and all of those groups around the world!

From that, you can learn about the tactical pieces of equipment! I would encourage you to learn about it as well so that you can make your OC actually look/seem like they belong in the same world as the actual characters. You can take references from Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, or you can ask someone who takes an interest in the military culture to be your teacher. For me, it's my precious friend @shadeops21!

For more details, you can also look up their uniforms, the camo they wear, the ranks in the military, how someone can enlist or become an officer, and so much more!

I know it's overwhelming. I felt that way too 🥹 as a girl who just wants to draw, it's a lot of info to take in, but learn slowly, watch some videos, and look at some images!

Of course, no one would expect us OC creators to make a 100% accurate depiction of the real-world military. Some of us are just CoD game and story enjoyers who want to pour our love into the characters and it's totally okay. However ☝️ an attempt of making our OC to be as convincing and as accurate as we can make it is always worth it.

Lastly, don't forget to read the Call of Duty lore itself! It's the original source, and we gotta respect it too so we can insert our own OC in it.

in a COD au my friend, Way @catharsistxt, and I developed, Roach (cause we miss the guy) and Gray (his character) are (were) members of Shadow Company and Roadkill is from a separate PMC that worked alongside them for a time.

The three became a trio, even if Roadkill definitely has something wrong with it that's way above the average 'something wrong with that one' scale.

and then unfortunately for everyone, including the two involved, Roadkill and Graves start being.....something.

Bonus background on Roadkill though:

In the PMC Roadkill is in, the company is originally and heavily inspired by SCP/Delta Green and things along those lines. Roadkill is it's name as an operative/agent under it. Names don't repeat, and whether or not they are genuinely their real names or not depends on how much legal trouble they could be in. Most do not and will not know another agent's real name. So far all intents and purposes, that is their real name.

Roadkill just made it easier for them to give it a new real name because it was a friendly that a squad found unconscious on the side of the road following an opera.
