Last night was rough for you and your mommy Rhea. Today you were going to the doctor to get shots and you couldn’t sleep all night because of your intense nerves. The two of you now were sitting in the waiting room, waiting for the nurse to call you back. Your leg was bouncing up and down and you were picking at your fingers like crazy, almost making them bleed.

Rhea took noticed and grabbed your hands with hers and you started playing with her nails and rings. A few minutes later a short nurse with red hair came out and called your name making your anxiety worsen. You looked up at your mommy in terror and she gave you a reassuring smile instead. She took your hand and stood up, making you stand with her and the two of you went back with the nurse. She took y’all to a room and you sat on a little bed and waited for the doctor to come in.

The wait wasn’t long and soon the doctor came in with a bright smile on his face making you a little less nervous. “Ready for your shots today y/n?” He asked you and you shook your head no fast. “Awwww don’t worry! It will be over quick! You won’t even feel it!” He assured you and you still shook your head. The doctor looked over at Rhea and she nodded. She stood up and sat beside you on the bed and pulled you onto her lap.

You looked up at her in curiosity and she gave you a smile instead. The doctor got seated on a stool and came over to you with the couple of shots in his hands. Your body started to shake some from the anxiety that was invading you and Rhea held you tightly. Not to tight to restrain you but to bring you comfort. The doctor did everything to prep you and you closed your eyes, trying to only feed rheas strong arms around your shaking body.

A few minutes passed and the doctor tapped your hand gently and you opened your eyes to see bandaids on your arms. You couldn’t believe it was already over. You looked up at Rhea to see her smiling brightly at you. “You did it babygirl! I am so proud of you.” She said softly next to your ear making you blush. “I agree! You did extremely well y/n! Here. Have a lollipop!” He said happily and brought over a jar of lollipops. You smiled big, carefully reaching to your favorite flavor and grabbed one.

Rhea and you left the doctors shortly after that and you couldn’t believe how easy that visit was. You were so nervous and anxious last night and you were so glad it was finally over. “Ready for some ice cream baby? I think you deserve it after being so good and brave at the doctors.” Rhea said as she drives and with you on the passenger side. “Wes Pweasie!” You said excitedly and she smiled as she drives y’all to your favorite ice cream place to get your favorite flavor, for her brave girl.

A/n: happy Easter (or whatever you celebrate) or happy Sunday! Gonna try to be posting more but I basically have three jobs now and as soon as I get home, I’m exhausted. Just for context: that explanation Kabru gives isn't really "scientific" and kinda falls apart in the same comic (Ogres have horns but are considered humans, he says it's a modified part of the skull but still...) it's more something arbitrary people in that world made up to justify why some races are human and some aren't. There's more people talking about it in the notes of that post if you're interested.

In the AB both Kobolds and Orcs are described as being "a cross between humans and monsters" but both times that's described as something that isn't confirmed ("seem to be" "thought to be") so I don't think Kui wanted to confirm or deny that that's what they are

One guess of how they came to be is the demon's influence, since its implied that's the source of how the races became so different from each other (at least when it comes to lifespan and magical powers)

Another interesting things about demihumans are mermaids and fishmen, here Laios and Chilchuck even have a small discussion of whats a demihuman

Chilchuck calls fishmen demihumans but they aren't related to humans at all (mermaids get called demihumans in the AB tho). He even says it just "feels wrong" so yeah demihuman as a classification is completely arbitrary.

I'll be honest, I haven't trusted Blake ever since she and Ryan decided to have a wedding on a SLAVE PLANTATION, but that's besides the point. 🙄 Even despite all of that, I STILL enjoyed Blake as an actress for years, and even applauded her film "It Ends With Us". I even wrote a film review of the movie right here on my blog!

Regarding the case, I actually believed Blake when the allegations first came out. But when I started hearing Justin's side of the story, I was like, "hold up". 👀

NOW, with everything that has come out, the only thing I've said is that I'd like to hear both sides of the story, and that smthg seems fishy about Blake's allegations. I feel like smthg deeper is going on here, and I'll be honest, Justin seems like he has nothing to hide and is coming out with receipts left and right, and I'm now starting to question Blake's lawsuit. Girl, you can't possibly say that you 100% trust Blake's side of the story after hearing what has been coming out, can you? PLEASE tell me you think this whole thing is fishy!

Look.....It's not MY fault that Justin keeps putting info out there from his side, and Blake's side has pretty much stopped showing any evidence. We're just discussing what's been coming out to the public on my blog. I really prefer to see BOTH sides of a story before making my judgments, but just based on what I've seen already?. Whew.... Mommy!rhea Ripley x little!fem!reader

“Hey little one. What are you doing?” Rhea asked as she sits beside you on the floor. You looked up at your mommy and gave her a big smiling. “I coloring mommy!” You said happily as you picked up your favorite coloring book and showed her what you’re working on. “That’s amazing my little koala! Such an artist.” She said in her accent that you love hearing and you giggled at the petname she gave you a while back.

“Tank chus mommy.” You tell her and your eyes trail over her tattoos and you had the sudden urge to color them. Rhea could tell by the look in your eyes and how you were eyeing her arm that you were up to something. “What is it little one? What do you want to do.” Your mommy said chuckling as she picked you up and sat you in her lap. You started tracing your fingertips on her tattooed arm and Rhea got the gist of what you wanted pretty quickly.

“Do you want to color in my tattoos babygirl?” She asked and you immediately nodded your head excitedly. Rhea chuckled at your enthusiasm and took off her shirt so she’s only in her leggings and sports bra. “What do you want to start with first my koala?” She asked and you thought about it for a moment until you grabbed her wrist and pointed to the dagger in her inner arm. She chuckled and nodded at your request and let you do whatever you wanted.

By the end of your coloring section, both of rheas arms were covered in colorful colors, while some color was on her stomach where her other tattoos were. “What an artist! I gotta show these to your aunties and uncles.” Rhea said, mentioning the judgement day members and some of rheas friends that you consider your aunts and uncles. Rhea took some pictures of her arms, her stomach, and some with you in it and sent it to the group chat with everyone in it. You clapped happily and Rhea put her phone down so she could hug you.

“Tank chus mommy fors lettings mes colors chu tattoos ins.” You thanked her and rheas face brighten at your cuteness and she squeezed you tighter. “Anything for my little princess. Big koala loves her little koala so much.” Rhea said and you squealed happily. “I wuv mommy mores!” You said flapping your arms around happily and Rhea started tickling you which made you squeal loudly. She tickled you for a few more seconds and the stopped to let you catch your breath which you were grateful for. “Wanna color some more in your coloring book doll? I’ll even color with you” She asked and you nodded happily as the two of you spent hours on the floor coloring together.

sorry if this isn't super accurate, i didn't watch much of ghostbur's arc :P i tried to base it a lot around his ghost-ness because from what i remember the reason he was so different from alivebur/revivebur was that he was a ghost and therefore felt more free and detatched than either of them did?

worldbuilding notes for my extensive t/gcf snzfic modern au

which i will not exploring in the least in-text because i haven't the energy for the parts that aren't getting me off lol

i was gonna save these until after part 5 but then i was talking abt it with @bestwhumpist and got excited so here they are (directly copied from my notes so it's a mess!) it's mostly broad strokes of character backstory (very broad) + some random thoughts and notes that snuck in to the document which i have left in!

• hc is a famous multimedia artist who went viral after he made a series that exposed and ruined 33 influential figures that were involved in the takedown of the xie family fortune and/or xl's disenfranchisement directly

he used a huge chunk of the money from that series selling (basically bankrupting himself for like 5 years) to buy and renovate a hotel/casino (paradise manor/gambler's den) AS an art project which then turned out to be more lucrative than anyone could have expected (there is talk of expansion but right now he's still living  very well but not actually ghost-king-billionaire yet lmao) (like i'm picturing a 2-3 bed apt in city center -> 5-8k a month rent(?) kinda place except he probably owns it )

• hc is 28, xl is 35

• they have been dating for?? several months at the start of the series.  yes they are u-haul lesbian moving in together, it's hualian

• xl was various states of homeless/destitute from ages ~26 to ~34

‣ some kind of popular figure before that-- (idol??  governing body?) someone hc could keep track of from ages 17 when they met to 25 when the Ruination events hit.

• hc IS fairly not-well mentally lmao (neither of them are) (not addressing this in this fic) but hc was institutionalized briefly (tong'lu hospital??) after xl disappeared and he tried to rip out his eye ;)  or lost it in a fight?  HMMM.  (hc ~19yo).  anyway he changed his name after this.

• (ruoye is actually named that (re: the double meaning in the characters in his name) bc xie lian found him as a kitten sleeping on him for warmth right after his unsuccessful suicide attempt.  but also he is just one of those cats that everyone is fucking allergic to so xl gets a free excuse for morbid cat names) (yes xl did keep ruoye thru his time on the streets.  yes he is a clingy shoulder cat that's how that actually worked out x,D) (ruoye is 10, e'ming is ...  probably 2-4)

• yes this IS a high drama "how to make modern au mirror canon" instead of "what if things were different bc modern au" setting.  for my incredibly self-indulgent fetish material.  why? ??? (*crickets*)

speaking of which.

‣ xl before the snz revelation WAS mostly chaste despite modern au no-cultivation partially bc he was raised that way/then too traumatized and insecure, and partially because it all made no damn sense to him ‣ used to try to masturbate and often just got nowhere with it only discovered True Horny once he got with hc but even then sometimes would just have trouble coming ‣ (these are all things that somehow became! part of the past! after the snz reveal x3c )

‣ (!!! xl worrying that it's bad/rude of him for their sex life and specifically his interest in it to have gone up so much because of this but at this point it is hua cheng's turn to pull "isn't it like we're fated to be tho?"  this works very effectively bc xl is So Demi that actually yeah pretty much only /hc sneezing/ works for him )
