Due to the indirect influences of certain selfship blogs, I am now stuck with a Self Insert OC x Oogie Boogie brain rot, so now you have to deal with me rambling on about it.
Only if you want to ofc. The choice is yours.
No one can force you to click on the "Keep reading" option.
But if you do click it, buckle up because when I ramble, it will probably not make a lick of sense.
You have been warned.
Ok, so. Self insert oc is a little clown from a far away place called Birthday Town.
Sorta similar to other Holiday Towns, Birthday Town is a place that celebrates the birthday of each of the clown residents. All 366 of them.
Yes. There is a clown for every day. Including the leap year day. It is a very large and colorful town that lays the birthday theme on thick with present boxes for houses, confetti for rain, and other whimsical Birthday related shit.
So they all celebrate each other's birthdays every day. Non-stop. To the point it drives clown oc mad.
So clown oc pulls a Jack Skellington and wanders away from the constant celebration, stumbling into the holiday doors, especially Halloween door in the same fashion as Jack in Christmas Town.
Oh, right, I forgot to mention this takes place during the movie, mostly outside of the scenes.
Only unlike Jack, they are in a constant state of fear and panic because Halloween Town is understandably spooky and scary to all who are new to it.
Then, after like screaming and running around like a headless chicken, clown oc is mistaken for "Sandy Claws" by Lock, Shock, and Barrel cuz they got the pudgy looking body and the pointy hat. That and pink looks like red at night, I guess?
So they brought clown oc to Jack. The same thing that happens to the Easter Bunny kinda happens to clown oc, except instead of being returned, they just shove clown oc down the hactch because they got no idea where to return this weird creature that they found.
Due to clown science and cartoon physics, clown oc is able to fit into the small hatch and goes tumbling down into Oogie Boogie's lair.
Clown oc meets Oogie Boogie and gets mistaken for "Sandy Claws" for a moment. After misunderstanding is cleared up, platonic bonding shenanigans ensue.
During the actual meeting of Oogie Boogie and Santa Claus, clown oc just stands off to the side like:
🧍‍♂️
And then, during the scene where Jack "kills" Oogie Boogie, clown oc manages to grab a hold of one of his bugs and tucks them safely into pointy hat, sneaking off and returning to Birthday Town.
When they arrive at Birthday Town clown oc, who I've just now decided to name Rinkie (little friend inside joke yum) shows Oogie Boogie Bug around the place and introduces him to other clown friends.
Oogie Boogie Bug, who wants revenge on Jack, asks Rinkie for assistance. Rinkie is pretty meh to the situation, so they reluctantly agree to help him.
Another bout of fun shenanigans ensue that involve Oogie Boogie Bug having no choice but to relucyantly accept the bright and colorful bugs from Birthday town as an addition to his newly forming hivemind, and have to deal with colorful patterned cloth patches on his temporary body, hand made and stitched by Rinkie ofc.
And that's it for my rambling.
It's mostly just funny platonic stuff in mind. Who knows if I'll be as heavily invested in this as I'll be to the Reverse Isekai Disney Villains AU. (RIDV AU for short)
Which I'm still working on, btw.
Anyways, yea.
Thanks for reading!

The Claim of an Operational Sin
Claude Frollo x Reader
Suggestive Oneshot
Tumblr media
Is this damn priest dilf energy or nah
Author's note: Have you ever disliked a villain so much you wanted to hate breed them and make them your bitch? Read this, cuz you can :)
You're one of the few ladies the tyrannical man has taken interest in. Something he'd refer to as being bewitched by those who are innocent. Intrigue driven by his own lustful desires similar to his captivation by the beautiful dancer, Esmeralda. But unlike her, you were certainly not as lucky preventing your imprisonment and attempting to escape the minister's grasp.
Frollo/Reader [Romantic Tendencies(???)]
[Gender-neutral Darling|Female Darling|Male Darling]
Potential ⚠️TWs⚠️ :
!Female Reader! • Seductive/“Succubus” reader • Imprisoned reader • We're basically gonna be assaulting him WOOHOO • Threats • Reader is unfearful of death • Arousal • Teasing, but it's bordering on degradation • Desperation • Drooling/Salivating • Kissing • ...Leaking...iykyk • He's an old man who's never satisfied his primal desires, what did you expect • This entire fic and concept in general is TW worthy tbh-
I REGRET NOTHING ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
“...You are a bloody!” Frollo spoke sharply. Taking a deep breath as he looked at you with a bitter gaze. His eyes were cold now, a sour expression on his face. His eyebrows were raised, as if he was trying to control his anger. He was currently in front of you in one of the many dungeon cells underneath the Notre Dame. “... How long do you think you're going to be alive? If you keep acting like this.” He said, sounding almost like he was threatening you.
And despite his subtle warnings, you kept your time in the cell undisturbed, paying no mind to his little hissy fit. To the point it looked like you were straight up ignoring him, which only fueled his already angered state. Demanding you to not even think of not listening to him whenever he spoke. But in all honesty, his constant irritation was just getting you more entertained by the man. It was like watching a child throw a tantrum. Well. You were more than ready to show him that he picked the wrong lady. That your abduction was an easily regrettable decision for him. He was stuck here with you, not the other way around.
Grinning with anticipation, you leaned against the wall with a careless posture. You couldn't care less about what series of threats he had to offer. “Mhmm? Won't that something you should be worrying about as well? Lusting after women and harassing them for centuries can cause for quite the revolution, if I may” you were sneering with sarcasm. “The most recent victim has certainly been influential. Miss Esmeralda, was it? It’s difficult to control yourself, isn’t it~?” you mocked
“... Silence yourself!” He yelled in a half-angry, half-desperately demanding tone, something that noticeably made you laugh out loud. Frollo felt a hit of shame and embarrassment by the fact that you've taken note of him lusting after her. It was a sin ...he wasn't supposed to feel this way. And it was that gypsy who has bewitched him! Tainting his purity with her alluring words and movements. At least, in the minister's head it was, blaming a fairly innocent soul for his own shameful and unholy impulses.
“Many peasants have faced the consequences of the witches’ actions through either custody or death. So choose your words carefully.” trying to warn you and keep you in line, but your reaction would be ...unexpected. “So what? Everybody will die one day.” You glanced back up to the priest and cocked your head to the side. “Perhaps nature shall take its course in the next future for me too. Who knows? Which would be beyond fine with me” you murmured with yet another chuckle, raising an eyebrow. “But atleast now you still have somebody to turn to, wouldn't you say?” He noticed you sending him a wink of mockery, but was too baffled by your sudden statement.
The eyes of the minister widened, as he heard you say that. “You... You don't value your people's freedom. You... You don't care about your own existence." He gritted his teeth. You could practically see his temper exploding. He never understood how somebody could be so unflappable towards the idea of their own very demise. He felt like he had no control over you, which infuriated him greatly. Though you remained in a calm posture, a look of disinterest in your eyes as he felt the need to mention it. “Look," you began with a bit of attitude, unconcerned about how far you might be pushing him over the edge with your next few words.
“Don't treat your lustful motives as superior over what I lack. Eventually, natural selection shall take its course for all of us anyway. And I'll greet it with open arms as soon as the time comes” you half assed with a small smirk. But Frollo? He did not like that one bit, seething with rage as he snapped
“You don't care if nature takes its course, huh!? Well, I will be the one to take its course, if you will not! I am going to give it my best to make you suffer. I shall tear you down with my own hands.”
You took in his words, as your grin slowly started to expand a little the more he went into detail about his description of how exactly he was gonna take your life. You softly chuckled at his threat, hanging your head down as your hair was resting over your eyes, covering them up as you continued to giggle with pure amusement. “Awh..~” you glanced up at the man once again, some of your teeth exposed with your grin as your eyes were smugly half lid. You readjusted your hand as you gently, yet firmly grabbed him by the jawline, placing your thumb right under his chin as you pressed his skin. “It is truly adorable how undeniably obsessed you are with me. Do you clop to the idea of hurting me too?”
You curled up your index finger as it caressed Frollo on his cheek, your little smirk becoming smaller, but still being very visible nonetheless. “I'm quite flattered, my sweet~” your prying eyes were full of glee as you fluttered your lashes, attracting the man even further if that was even possible. You took a step even closer towards him, your chest almost pressed onto him as you got further into his personal space, so inviting...
And oh dear God. Everything you just said... Your smirk, your stance. It didn't take a genius to figure out that you were attempting to seduce him. You were trying to provoke him. And it was working. “H-hngh..!?” Frollo's breathing grew shallow. Every muscle in his body was starting to tighten in exasperation. He was shaking in anger. That's right. He was angry- so unbelievably, extraordinarily angry. But, he was also... Tempted.
And though his body was noticeably still somewhat stiff, you did not miss him beginning to melt into your touch, despite the obvious death stare in his eyes. He was so easily affected and getting worked up by your shenanigans, it was almost cute. Almost. You smirked to yourself as your soft fingers continued to tease his facial features. You were completely leaning into him at this point, both breasts squished onto him as you kept the eye contact with assertion.
Your free hand even wandered over towards the back of his neck, your fingers gently digging into his spine as you rubbed them up and down, but slowly beginning to add more pressure. “You seem to be making yourself comfortable with me quite swiftly, minister...” you stood on your toes to add on height and match his level, “Is that something you enjoy? Making quick development instead of taking things slowly~?” Frollo's heart literally started beating faster. The way you were saying these things. It was so very seductive. And your finger that was caressing him? You... A-Ah...
“H-How dare you!” His tone sounded so frustrated, like he was trying to hide something. Something he wouldn't want you to find out. You could practically see the rage in his eyes, but the way you spoke? And the way you got so close to him, you could practically feel his anger, his resentment, slowly melt away. His head started to turn red, as he gritted his teeth. He really couldn't take it, you had completely caught him in your trap. And you did that so... effortlessly.
It made him feel weak and submissive, a foreign feeling to the priest. You were completely dominating him. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. You made him vulnerable. You got into his... frozen and rock cold heart. You were in control now, and he was just so very powerless to your charms. His entire body was beginning to tremble. His breathing, it was slowly getting quicker and more shallow. It almost felt- the way you touched him, with such delicate care. The way you were teasing him like this. His entire body was starting to feel so hot. He felt the blood surging, pumping him up, preparing him for something he didn't dare to acknowledge.
And being less vigilant, he admitted to his thoughts much more easily. “It... astonishes me... when you... make me lose control” He said, the tone in his voice being a mix of anger and lust. Of desire. Of passion. Words that you hadn't really expected. You'd never guessed for a response like this. It was so sensual. He was clearly losing control now. The way he had just admitted to you that he was enjoying this? It felt as if he was a man on a chain. And you were the one holding it.
This was not supposed to be happening. Not like this. Frollo was... He was tempted. He was extremely tempted. He did not want to be tempted! He did not want to be lured by your feminine allure and your seducing gestures! Why. Why were you seducing him!? He was supposed to kill you, not fall for your antics dammit! He was literally getting flustered now, much to his embarrassment. And the way you pressed your body against his, as if trying to get as close as physically possible? It was really, REALLY making him nervous.
“Don't... you even DARE ...think that I am enjoying this! I... I am simply attempting to ...to” he began to trail off, unable to even think straight. And the more he was trying to desperately deny your claims, the more amused you became with the show. Without warning, you took another step forward and pressed your hips against him... pinning him with one of your thighs. Both of your bodies rubbing on one another as you adjusted your position again. Wanting to see just how hollow his words actually were.
And now he was definitely flustered. And you could tell. His breathing hastened, and he was literally going bright red. Frollo was trembling. And the fact that you could sense just how aroused he was, just made it worse. Because... Your intimate areas were rubbing against his, and there was not a single inch of space between the two of you. “S-Stop... this, you... Y-You witch..!”
His eyes widened as soon as you stepped into him further. You were just getting as intimate as could be. Your thighs and hips were rubbing against him. And it was making him... He was literally drooling now. Frollo was speechless. And he literally was making a mess out of himself. Like... He looked like a fool! One of the most dangerous people in the country, was... drooling... His mouth was open slightly, looking like he was going to say something. But instead, he closed his mouth shut again, and looked almost ashamed. As if he had been caught doing something humiliating.
Your eyes just lit up at the sight while you showed off your teeth with a shit-eating grin, confirming how amused you were by the situation. You tried making yourself even taller than before, as if trying to take away his confidence height-wise as well. You were having this heart-to-heart exchange with him face to face. Your face now literal millimetres away from his, intimidating.
But then you did something that caught him off guard, as you licked off the saliva that was dribbling down his mouth. Your tongue firstly stroking his spit-covered chin before seductively brushing it up to the crook of his mouth where the running drool started. But your tongue quickly wandered to his upper lip, sending a shock right through his veins. Your warm and sweet tongue began teasingly brushing left and right over the entrance of his lips, attempting to pry them open for a good three seconds before pulling back. You glanced at him right in the eye again, a cheeky glint in your eyes. “Aww, you poor man~ He almost spilled..~ Are you actually gonna soil yourself in front of me?” you purred with a tease.
As soon as you started licking the drool off of his lips, He got an electrical shock. A wave of pure nervousness and tingles running down his veins. The blush on his cheeks was getting redder, and you could hear his heartbeat. The saliva that was dropped, got licked up by you. You were staring at him so seductively. A warm, sweet feeling, of just pure ecstasy was flowing through his body.
And the way you were so close to him. You really were an actual princess. Or the queen of sin, rather. He looked like he was about to just collapse. Frollo... His wide eyes were now looking at your lips when you pulled back, and you could see the desire in them. And when you licked the saliva from his lips... He almost- almost let out a moan. He was literally about to melt away.
The priest's entire face flushed a deep, deep red. His blush was... it was so obvious to you, along with the fact that he was salivating at this. But the fact that you licked it off...? You could practically see his entire world begin to break down, right after that. You didn't just break his walls down. You obliterated them. He didn't know what to say. You were just... Ah, God. so, so cruel.
The way you did just that. The way you licked it. It was... Oh, heavens. You would be an absolute demon in bed. He blinked, shaking his head and basically still drooling all over himself. Damn it. What in the world.
“You... You b-bitc-... Yo-... wh-” He couldn't get a word out. He was too stunned. All of the blood in his body seemed to be rushing down to his cheeks at once. And he could feel a warm liquid start to soak into his undergarments. Yes. That thing, the thing that he desperately didn't want to get hard. He clenched his jaws shut, as he started to sweat. He didn't know how to react or respond. You were playing with him at this point. You could practically see the steam rising off of his head. And he could feel the liquid seeping into his cloth.
This whole situation was just mortifying to Frollo, both for his reputation and pride. He tried to take a step back, but he was getting too caught up in his own... reaction, to realize he had his back pressed against the wall in here. He could feel his breathing getting heavier. And just his reaction of shock was more than enough to keep you going, as your hand clung to the back of his neck, your fingertips digging into his flesh again. “I can’t help but wonder what other places are getting hot and moist for me” you purred with a mischievous chuckle, leaning in close to his face once again.
“I recommend you stay in line” you murmured with a sense of warning as you took his bottom lip between your teeth, the tip of your canine pressing into it. Your hot and damp tongue came in contact with it as you pressed it against his parted lips, teasingly tracing it against the entrance of his lips but never actually going inside his mouth... Smearing your saliva over the base of his lips, while you seductively sucked his bottom lip, just watching how long he could keep it up before losing his sense of self control
His body was quaking. His frame was like a leaf in the wind. He was being absolutely manhandled. The way you nibbled his lip, you were making his legs go weak. There were no words. There were just... sounds. Sounds coming from his throat, as the heat and moisture inside him really began to build up. The way you continued to use your tongue. The way you continued to play with his lip like a cat with a ball of yarn. It felt like this was never going to end. And he... his moans. You could hear his voice. Those soft moans, that were only for you to hear. He was losing focus, and he did not care. His body getting wet. And it was all your fault. You were doing this to him. You were teasing him, playing with him like a puppeteer.
His lips were now opening up for you. His mouth inviting. Something which made your eyes darken with glee as you got the ultimate invitation from him. Not hesitating for any second thoughts. Your tongue slowly wandered in and began brushing against his inner lip, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of having your tongue deep into the back of his mouth. You pressed it in further, going slightly deeper as you rubbed your tongue against his gum tissue. Before reaching the inferior labial frenulum, as you teasingly slid your tongue over it. And that... that was an especially loud moan, coming from a person like Frollo, who's usually calculated and reserved. Reserved on that level, as it was clear he was enjoying this right now.
He was being completely seduced and he didn't care. His vocal groans were beginning to fill the room. The way your tongue was exploring his mouth... It was sending shivers down his spine. His eyes widening as he felt himself start to become damp. Your hand, wrapped around the back of his neck with your fingers pressing into his flesh. He liked how you were being so rough and so dominating at the moment. But your comment, about his other... moistened areas. He felt a hot liquid rushing through his body as he thought about it, as if he was being cooked alive.
He was just completely, utterly, and miserably lost in you. His eyes were staring at yours, with that warm glaze of lustful desire. And he was letting his inner demons play with his soul. They weren't being suppressed anymore. They were getting out, completely free. He was struggling to keep himself from just giving into you. He was almost tempted to just... get on the bed, and invite you on top of him. His lips were now completely split apart. His mouth was inviting you to go in deeper. To do whatever you pleased. The tip of his tongue was inviting you. And you could practically taste his wet tongue. His breath was starting to falter. The way you rubbed against his gums, the movement was so perfect and experienced. Frollo's entire body felt hot and wet. And it was making him want more. So much more.....
You could definitely tell he was getting desperate. His tongue eagerly and impatiently begging for it to intertwine with yours. He wanted your tongue at the back of his throat... And feeling eager, he desperately began to lick at you, desperate to taste you. And wanting to feed into that desperation, you began moving your tongue up and down, making the tip of his tongue rub over yours. Right before your tongue began wandering, slipping it flat on top of his. You slowly began pressing your tongue to the back of his throat, using his tongue as a guide as you slid it down to his tonsils, rubbing them. Sometimes pulling back for just a few seconds before teasingly sliding it down again, keeping him needy for more.
He was practically begging for it by now. His mouth was literally begging for your tongue to get deeper. But you were just teasing him so hard, and that's what was making this so hot. The way your tongue was moving, it was like a damn tongue dance. And you were playing the damn instrument that was his mouth perfectly. Teasing his tongue, nibbing at it and just being absolutely filthy with him. His mouth was just yours now.
You were literally eating him, was the only thing Frollo could think. He couldn't help but groan out as soon as your tongue went deeper inside his mouth, sliding alongside his own tongue. Your warm, wet tongue was rubbing against the sensitive skin in there, and you were teasing his mouth. You were making him melt. You were... making him weak. His neck and back started to arch involuntarily. The way you slid it down his throat as it touched his tonsils... The priest's body was starting to jerk. His eyes went blank, as he let out moans and gasps. It felt like you were controlling his mind and body, and that only made him feel even more desperate and in need of you.
Frollo was in a trance, practically. You were just so tempting. So delicious. His voice was turning into pure moans as he opened his mouth, letting out the sound of a beg. It was as if he was trying to say he wanted it. That this was what he wanted. His jaw was opened, his hands were hanging limp besides his body, behaving so submissively. The minister, who had been feared by everybody around him, was just completely done for.
You pulled back for a bit, as he moaned out in relief. A string of saliva now connecting your tongue with his mouth. “Don't go rabid on me now. You've been wanting this for a long, long time, hmm?” you teased him as one of your hands travelled towards his chin, before you started pressing your thumb into his mouth. You pressed your finger on his tongue, sliding it further to the back of his throat, threatening to make him gag if he disobeyed and forcing his jaw open even further. “Be a big boy and open up wide for me..~” you purred with a sadistic giggle, tempting him by sticking out your tongue.
There was no way out of this. His expression now completely rearranged from frustrated, to a look which was flaring with excitement. He was literally sweating. In one move, you had basically turned him from an egotistical man, into your own personal toy at your disposal. You owned him. Even when he got some of his control back when you moved your mouth away from him, he didn't wanna stop what you were doing. He was just hopelessly addicted to you, His brain was you. Nothing BUT you.
“You're playing under my rules now, minister.”
And he was just another piece of your collection to satisfy your needs.

It was a boring day in the Underworld. The flow of souls coming in was lower than usual, which meant Hongjoong didn't have much to do. His poilished, black nails tapped against the arm of his throne as he stared blankly into the flames before him.
He was bored to death.
He snapped his fingers, his two lackeys appearing in a puff of black smoke.
"You called?" Wooyoung asked, brushing his hair away from his face.
"It's a slow day." Hongjoong responded.
"We noticed." San added, suppressing a yawn.
"I was thinking we could have some fun in the mortal realm today. What do you think, boys?"
The duo shared a look, mischievous smirks tugging at their lips.
Hongjoong took that as a yes.
The three disappeared in a cloud of black smoke, appearing in the mortal realm somewhere away from the crowds. Hongjoong was quick to disguise himself in his human form. His extravagant, black attire was replaced with cream-colored robes to blend in. He looked at the two stood across from him.
"What have you got?" He asked, indicating for the two to show him their disguises.
In an instant, the pair turned into two children.
A wicked smile spread across Hongjoong's features.
"Perfect. No one ever suspects children."
"What do you want us to do, boss?" San inquired.
"Go wreak havoc. Steal something, harass the elderly, let the livestock loose in the streets." He ordered, listing off things that would cause disturbances.
"You got it." The two saluted Hongjoong before scurrying off into town leaving their boss to watch the chaos ensue.
You strode through town, perusing the different carts lined up along the dusty streets. You didn't need anything in particular, you just wanted to get out, stretch your legs, and get some fresh air.
Suddenly, you heard a commotion from somewhere behind you. You turned around to see what was going on, and when you did, two little boys ran by nearly knocking you off your feet as they did so. You stumbled a bit but was quick to regain your balance as you saw the two kids run over to a nearby fruit cart. You couldn't help but notice one of them going to steal an apple. Just when you were about to speak up, the lady running the small business began shouting at them, shooing them away. You frowned, feeling sorry for the two boys.
"Excuse me." You called out, stepping towards the fruit cart. "What's going on?"
"These two ruffians tried to steal my goods!" She spoke harshly, her voice a bit gravelly.
"They were just hungry, I'm sure."
"Lady, do you see the chaos these two have caused?" She pointed to the other vendors' carts lining the street. Some appeared to have things knocked off, the sellers trying to gather their goods out of the streets.
"I'm sure they didn't mean to. They were probably just having fun and weren't paying attention. Right?" You asked, turning to the children.
They both nodded.
You then bent down to their level, looking at the two of them. One had short, choppily cut black hair, the other longer brown hair with subtle waves. They both looked to be around the same age, maybe seven years old. You weren't too sure. Either way, you weren't going to leave them without making sure they were alright and out of trouble.
"Where are your parents?" You asked.
Neither said a word.
"Do you have parents?"
The one with brown hair nodded while the one with choppy black hair shook his head. You weren't sure what to think of that, so you chose to overlook it.
"Are you guys hungry? I'll get you something."
The two shared a glance before nodding.
You stood up to face the lady running the fruit stand.
"I'd like two apples, please."
"For these two delinquents?" She asked, harshly.
"I'm giving you business, so why does it matter who I give them to?"
The vendor pressed her lips together, knowing she couldn't possibly refuse a paying customer.
"Alright." She huffed, taking the money from me.
"Thank you." You gave her a friendly smile, picking two apples from the woven baskets on the cart and handing them to the boys.
"Thank you, Miss." The brown-haired boy smiled, his cheeks round like bread.
Hongjoong, who was watching from a distance witnessed the whole thing. He felt something in his chest when he saw how kind you were towards San and Wooyoung. It was an odd feeling he hadn't felt before—ever. He wanted to talk to you right that instant. He then stepped out of his hiding spot and began walking over.
"San! Wooyoung!" He called.
You lifted your gaze at the unfamiliar voice, your eyes landing on a man with straight, black hair. He had a prominent nose that came to a point; it was dainty and reminded you of a fairy. He hurried over to the two children, crouching down to their height.
"There you two are." He spoke.
His voice was unique. It was a bit higher than you expected, but so light and airy. You could listen to him talk all day.
"Oh. Do you know them?" You inquired.
"Yes. I'm their... older brother, actually."
"Ah. I thought they were lost so I bought them apples. I hope you don't mind."
"Not at all. That was very kind of you." He went quiet for a moment before piping up. "I'm Hongjoong. That's San and that's Wooyoung."
"I'm Y/n." You introduced yourself.
"Nice to meet you." Hongjoong smiled warmly.
"Thank you, Miss Y/n." The boy with the choppy hair, who you now know as San, thanked you.
"Yeah. You're really nice." Wooyoung spoke up.
"Thank you, boys. You're awfully kind."
"You were so nice to my brothers, I feel like I should do something for you in return. You know, as a way to say thank you." Hongjoong spoke.
"That's alright. You don't have to do anything for me."
"I insist."
"Well, if you must."
"Would you be interested in a visit to the theater?"
"The theater?"
He nodded with a smile.
"That's a very nice offer."
"Is it something you'd be interested in?"
"I would."
"Wonderful." He beamed.
His smile was incredible. His teeth were stunning and so white. You'd never seen anyone with a smile as perfect as his.
"We could meet by the colosseum tomorrow when the sun reaches the top of that mountain." He pointed.
"That works." You nodded.
"Are you going on a date with my brother?" Wooyoung asked.
"Date?" You parroted.
You and Hongjoong both started denying it.
"No, no, no." You shook your head.
"I'm just thanking her for being nice to you two." Hongjoong clarified.
The two boys gave both of you skeptical looks.
"Alright, well we should be going." Hongjoong spoke up, pushing his brothers forward. "I'll see you tomorrow."
The next day, you met Hongjoong outside the colosseum as promised. You put on your best robes, wanting to impress the handsome man. It seemed he was thinking the same as you, because he showed up wearing nice robes as well.
"You look wonderful." He complimented.
"So do you."
"Ah. Really?" He asked, pushing his hair back.
"Yes. Very handsome." You told him.
"Shall we head inside?" He nodded towards the colosseum entrance.
"Of course."
He offered you his hand, which you gratefully took and allowed him to lead you inside.
The both of you got seated and waited for the chairs around you to fill up.
"I love coming to the theater." Hongjoong commented. "It's a nice break from work."
"What do you do?" You asked.
"Oh." He seemed caught off guard by the question. "I'm a... supervisor."
"A supervisor? What do you supervise?"
"The dead."
"Oh. So you're a coroner?"
"Yes, exactly! That's what it's called." He nodded.
"Don't you get creeped out being so close to dead bodies?"
"Well, I don't really deal with the bodies."
You gave him an odd look. "Isn't that what a coroner does?"
"Oh, um, I mean, it's not so bad. I just look at the body and document the person's time of death, so I'm not around them for too long."
"Hm." You hummed in response.
"The show's starting." Hongjoong pointed.
The two of you continued to spend time together for the next few weeks. Hongjoong took you to incredible places and did many fun and exciting things with you. It was never boring when you were with him. Always something new.
The both of you walked hand in hand as Hongjoong took you home. Your hair was adorned with flowers Hongjoong had placed in there. You had even placed a few in his locks as well. You had just gotten back from watching the sun set on a hill overlooking the city. It was the most perfect evening ever.
"Thank you for today." You told him, leaning your head over on his shoulder.
"You're welcome. I'm glad you had a good time."
"It was wonderful, as usual. You always seem to find a way to one-up the previous date."
"Oh, so these are dates now?" He asked with a smirk.
"Of course they are. That visit to the theater was a date too."
"How so?" Hongjoong inquired.
"I know you didn't just invite me to the theater to thank me for being nice to your brothers."
"Alright, you got me." He chuckled. "I needed an excuse to see you again."
"So you admit you were smitten from the start?"
"You could call it that." He smiled, fondly. "What about you?"
"I was quite taken with you too." You admitted.
"I knew it." He grinned.
"Liar." You laughed, shoving him playfully.
Your heart sank just slightly when you saw your home come into view. You always hated saying goodbye to Hongjoong, but you knew you'd be see each other again soon—you always did.
The two of you came to a stop at your front entrance.
"I don't want to leave." You told him.
He smiled a bit as he brought his hand up to cup your cheek.
"I know."
"Thank you again for the wonderful afternoon."
"Of course, darling." He smiled warmly, his thumb caressing your cheek, sending a rush of tingles throughout your body. "Now go get some rest."
You nodded as Hongjoong's hand fell from your face.
"Oh. There's something that I want to tell you. It's pretty important. Can you meet me at the building overlooking the botanical garden tomorrow after sunset?"
"Why can't you tell me now?"
"It's not the right time."
"And tomorrow is?" You inquired.
"Yes. So, will you meet me there?"
"Of course, Hongjoong."
"Thank you."
You stepped inside, glancing back at the charming man.
"Sweet dreams." He whispered.
You gave him a small wave before closing the door.
It took you a while to get to sleep that night, as all you could think of was what Hongjoong might want to say to you. He could want to officially ask you to be his girlfriend, that would make you really happy. Or it could be something else. You tried not to think of anything negative as you finally forced yourself to go to sleep.
You approached the building Hongjoong asked you to meet him at. Your hands were slightly clammy as you headed to the balcony in the back. The sun had gone down, bathing the scenery in its cloak of darkness. You had wondered why Hongjoong wanted to meet at night, but chose not to question it.
You admired the beautiful nighttime scene and the way the bright moon cast shadows over the trees and sculptures in the garden sitting below. It was somewhat eerie but beautiful at the same time.
"You showed." A voice spoke up.
You turned to see Hongjoong approaching.
"Of course I showed." You smiled. "I told you I would."
"Thank you."
"You said you wanted to tell me something?"
"I do." He confirmed. "Well, I also want to show you something."
You stood and waited, watching as he took in a deep breath.
"Watch this." He instructed with a smile.
He held his hand out, a rose engulfed in blue flames appearing out of thin air.
You stared at it in awe, unable to comprehend how he conjured the flower out of nothing and also why it wasn't wilting under the flames.
"How did you do—" You were cut off when you looked up to see Hongjoong standing in front of you, but he looked different—very different.
His normal black hair was now blue, matching flames of the same hue were coming off the ends of his locks. His outfit had changed as well. Instead of his usual cream-colored robes was now an odd-looking black outfit made of some sort of leather. He donned a large feathery coat on top with a black skull on his shoulder. It was nothing like you had ever seen before. The outfit wasn't the only thing that changed. His brown eyes were now covered in heavy eye makeup, black shadows smudged around his intense eyes.
His entire look was, in a word, otherworldly.
"Hongjoong?" You asked, shocked by his new appearance, unconsciously taking a step back as the rose fell from your hand.
"Y/n, just let me explain before you freak out, okay?"
You took in a deep breath, staying silent and allowing him to continue.
"I'm not actually human. I'm god of the underworld."
Your eyes widened in shock and mild horror.
I've been going on dates with the god of death? You thought in disbelief.
"I couldn't come right out and tell you because I didn't want you to run away. I wanted you to get to know me for me."
Hearing him say that made you pause for a moment. He's right. You probably would have ran away if he came out looking like he did.
"I'm still the same Hongjoong, I just look a little different is all."
He had a point. It's not like he's some monster. He's still Hongjoong.
"So, San and Wooyoung aren't your brothers?" You asked.
"No." He shook his head. "They're my henchman."
"And you're not a coroner." You said it like a statement.
"No."
You let out a short sigh. "I can't be mad at you. You had good intentions. Also, you did kinda tell the truth about your profession. You do supervise the dead."
"That I do." He chuckled. "So, does this change the way you feel about me?"
You smiled softly. "No."
Hongjoong took a few steps forward, reaching his hand out. His jewelry-clad fingers glimmered under the moonlight as he waited for you grab hold of his hand.
"Your nails." You commented, glancing at his black colored fingernails.
"You like them?"
You nodded. "I've never seen anything like it."
"Well, sweetheart, things in the Underworld are a bit different than they are here."
"I imagine so." You said, glancing at Hongjoong's outfit.
"Maybe I can show you one day."
"You can take me there?" You asked.
"Of course. I'm king, so I make the rules."
You chuckled.
Hongjoong pulled you close, his arms wrapping securely around your waist. Your breathing quickened as you realized how close your faces were.
"Will you be my queen, Y/n?"
"What?" You choked out.
"Not now, but someday. Will you be my queen and rule the Underworld by my side?"
"That's a difficult question to answer at the moment."
"Then let's start with girlfriend first. How's that?"
"Good. That I can handle." You nodded with a light chuckle.
Hongjoong smiled, his thumb gently ghosting over your bottom lip.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked, his voice so gentle it made your heart flip.
All you could do was nod your head.
The gap between your mouths was closed instantly as Hongjoong's lips met yours, nearly taking your breath away. His hands briefly squeezed your sides as his lips pressed harder against your own.
"You're so beautiful, darling." He murmured before diving back in for another kiss, his hands roaming your waist as yours stayed firmly planted on his shoulders.
You pulled away, gazing into his eyes.
"I don't want this night to end." You admitted, your fingers playing with the black feathers of Hongjoong's coat.
"It doesn't have to. We can always take a walk through the garden or gaze at the stars."
"That sounds romantic... but first I'd like to try that kiss again." You grinned.
"As you wish, my dear."
When Hongjoong asked you about ruling the Underworld with him, it caught you off guard. However, the idea of being by his side made you happy and the thought of it was rather appealing. Maybe one day you would accept his offer. As of right now, you'd like to take things slow and just have a normal relationship—well, as normal as a relationship with the god of the Underworld could be.

I think I know why l've unexpectedly gravitated towards Skybound Shockwave so much.
To put it simply and not make a whole-aft comparative essay, he just...radiates Disney Villain energy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is part 1 btw because these are just the comparisons/parallels to Governor Ratcliffe.
It gets even crazier.

Imagine;

Being a servant girl under the Evil Queen's order. You're only a peasant- less then that, you're a maid. You're not free in the slightest.
But regularly, you dream~ ^^
The Queen throws gorgeous royal balls every now and then and you always find yourself staying awake until everyone is gone- and the ballroom is dark and baron, the only light inside coming in from the moon and stars outside. Then you like to dance, closing your eyes and imagining away your old servants rags into gorgeous glittering dresses (A new colour, a new material, a new style every night) and making up a prince with the most beautiful green eyes to dance with you.
One night, inside the room where the flowers are strung up over the ceiling and are lit up in white moonlight, and the deafening silence despite the violins playing music in imagination, you open your eyes not to see a prince- but the Queen standing in the room with you watching your made-up dalliances in her palace.
You startle, eyes wide, and you try to apologise- horrified and meek as that apology is flying from your lips.
... I've been dancing with stupid men all night, whoever-you-are.
I can't dance with pretty young ladies at my balls, unfortunately. As much as I'd like to.
... but here you are. A young lady all alone, dancing so gracefully, and pretty- even as filthy, as you are.
Take my hand, servant girl. Come. Now.

living as shan yu's prisioner/bride would include
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Masterlist | Rules | Taglist | Library | More Shan Yu | AO3
synopsis: After the initial fear and distrust, you undertood that you only had one choice: adapt. And, going against everything you knew about yourself and the world, you discovered that it weren't that hard. That Shan Yu wasn't that horrible.
warnings: female!reader. shan yu (that's my wife. yeah, i decided that 30 seconds after meeting her. she's my soulmate, idiot) x reader (slow down, big boy, i have standarts. oh. you gave me a horse. you're kinda of reaching them). mentruation because i'm a whore for domesticity in moments of vulnerability. violence. not that dark. it's kinda about the first steps of falling in love when your logic says you're not supossed to. in this house we hate the misogynist version of Shan Yu in Mulan (2020).
note: that happened right before the end of this. hope y'all like it!
Tumblr media
• You felt guilty. So dirty. How could you feel that way about it? But it didn't matter how many times you told yourself that you shouldn't feel that way, you did it anyway. A heart feels whatever it wants. And yours feel free.
• That's something special about feeling the air against your body, the speed of your horse, the world moving on with you. Not despise you, not without, but with you. And it felt so good. Like it was supossed to be that way.
• When Shan Yu gave you a sorrel, he knew you wouldn't try to run away. Quickly after meeting him you knew you couldn't. It would be impossible for you to escape the Huns. And even if you did: then what would you do? Who would be able to help you? You knew that you couldn't, but Shan Yu also didn't gave you a reason to try.
• Yes, he kidnapped you. That is reason enough for you to at least try. But Shan Yu said he would make you his Empress. Endless times. He talked about how you'll reign beside him. You have classes about war, history, economy. The other Huns treat you like you had spend your lifetime with them. He'll make you his Empress. If he win the war, of course. And he promissed that you'll see your family again after the war.
• Shan Yu made clear that he wants your heart. He won't touch you, not without your consent first, but you're his bride. He made sure everyone knew that. You're his. His bride, his future wife, his mate. You don't know how anyone could fall in love that quickly. You believe him, Shan Yu have no reason to lie, you just don't get it. It may be that easy to him, but it isn't for you.
• You would never chose to be close to him if things were normal. The leader of the Hun army, an enemy of the Emperor, his fame precedes him. But things aren't normal, are they? You don't love Shan Yu, but you certainly don't hate him. And sometimes you think that he would be nice as a friend. Someone that would be easy to be around.
You were freaking out. You woke up in pain, and it took you a second to figure out what was that warm feeling in between your tights. Tears were rolling down your face when Shan Yu suddenly moved on his bed.
"Are you hurt?" You don't know how he did it that quickly, but when you looked at him Shan Yu had his sword on his hand. That man was ready to kill someone. The moonlit made it easy for you to see him, which means he could also see you. That made you feel so embarrassed. "Why are you crying?"
"Look away!" You shouted. Shan Yu almost did as you demanded, but he couldn't just ignore your tears. You tried to grab the bed sheets, but your sleep weaked your movements. "Just go back to your bed and leave me alone."
Shan Yu approached, and then he understood. He's experienced in the battlefield. Shan Yu would be able to recognized blood even if blind. "I will prepare a bath for you. It will help cease the pain."
"Stop", you could feel your body getting so warm. "Just leave me alone. I'm embarrassed enough."
Shan Yu sighed. "Embarrassed of what?" You pointed to the sheets. "Do you think that's the first time I see blood? Are you afraid I will faint?"
That made you chuckle. "No."
"I will prepare a bath for you." Shan Yu walked towards the bathroom. "Just sit down and wait."
That's what you did.
• Shan Yu isn't violent. Not to you. You fought his men, screamed at him, called him a liar: he never reacted. And he can be somehow kind when he wants to. You can sense that he's always checking if everything is okay with you. And he can be fun. In a weird, little bit off, kinda of way.
• Like how Shan Yu knows when he's better than someone and just let them dig their own graves. It isn't him being patient, coward or anything else: this is Shan Yu having fun. He likes the chase. You heard countless people calling him a monster, but you disagree. He's a predator.
• Fun. In a way that you don't really understand. And you would never say this out loud, not even under torture, but you feel that life would be easier with him. Or at least it wouldn't be the worst thing ever to stay beside him.
• Shan Yu isn't violent, has a good sense of humor, somehow respects you. Money would never be a problem. Even during a war, Shan Yu gave you clothes to fill countless wardrobes. And with him you're safe. You knew his fame, and now you know it fits him.
• It's nice to not worry about marriage. There is no family talking about how you should've already married to someone. There is no such a thing as spending sleepless nights thinking about what would happen to you if your father die before you can find someone. You don't worry about this anymore.
• So, yeah, somehow you enjoy that situation. Not love, and you certainly didn't dream with having that type of life, but you found yourself enjoying your time with the Huns. Your time with Shan Yu.
"You know that you don't need to run everytime, do you?" Shan Yu asked, scaring you. You didn't expect him to be behind you. You didn't even heard him approaching. Before looking at his direction, you could see that constant smirk on his face. "Horses are able to trot."
As usual, when you got the chance you ran with your sorrel, you did it. Feeling the air against you, a type of freedom you never experienced before. Exhausted, you waited for them to reach you.
For him to reach you.
Shan Yu grabbed your sorrel's rein, guiding him. You let him do it. Your body was already tired. Unlike him, you're not accustomed to ride for so long. And you could go to your carriage, Shan Yu wouldn't said no to you, but you know why he gave you that sorrel.
Before his gift, he led the army mounted on his horse while you stayed inside the carriage. Now, you can ride with him if you want to.
"Maybe I'm trying to runaway," if you know him well enough to understand the way his humor works, then he better understand yours. "Smarten up, big boy."
But you think there is another reason for that present. A thing that you noticed a while ago. The way he lighten up when someone mentions that you can fight. Or when you share your opinion, regardless if it's what he wants to hear. Shan Yu likes to see you fearless. He likes when you talk back. When you make sure everyone heard what you have to say.
"It's a joke," you told him. "I'm not planning on running away."
"Why?" Shan Yu said so calmly, but you could hear it was a honest doubt.
You also thought about it before. Why didn't you run away? Okay, using your logic you understood it wouldn't work out, but somethings aren't about logic. Humans don't usually do things only because of logic. Why your emotions didn't made you try everything you could? Why didn't you at least tried to runaway from him?
"I hope to never see a matchmaker again."
That made Shan Tu buffaw. "Alright," he nodded with his head. "It's a promise: you'll never see a matchmaker again in your life."
"Watch out," you smiled at him. "I may fall for your pretty promises."
"I'm counting on it."
• Things weren't perfect. Of course they weren't. But that feast was the last straw. There are some lines Shan Yu can't cross without you reacting. There are things that not even your logic can ignore. Things that made your heart decide to act. And of course it included him being violent. You should've know.
• All night long, you could feel his eyes on you. Those yellow eyes, following your steps like if you were a prey, would never go unnotice by you. Not even the loud music of the feast, the amounts of alcohol you drank, the way your feet were already aching because you danced for so long: you could feel Shan Yu watching you.
• You know he wants to join you. To dance with you, to hold you, to have you. You know that. But Shan Yu promised he would only touch you after you decided that you want him to do it. And you didn't say anything. You didn't try anything. You did not gave him permission, so he only watchs.
• At some moment, when it was already midnight, you fell. It wasn't anything important. It didn't hurt you. It was more embarrassing than anything else, but you were drunk enough to not care about it.
• Someone helped you getting on your feet again. Just a kind hand for you to hold on until you were sure you wouldn't fall again. For a second, you forgot about his eyes on you. You just hugged whoever helped you in a way to show your drunkness gratitude. And that was when Shan Yu made sure everyone knew he was still there.
• Shan Yu is quickly. Your mind, lacking sobriety, almost didn't record him moving towards you. You just noticed what was happening when Shan Yu hold the man by his throat, pulling him away from the floor. You knew he was scary, dangerous, cruel. You knew that. But you never saw it. You never saw how his eyes can burn others. You knew who Shan Yu was, but you never saw it.
• The poor man were turning blue on his head, barely able to struggle against the strong hold on his neck, trying to say something. Trying to say he was sorry. You were frozen in place, almost convincing yourself that it was all a nightmare, until Shan Yu dropped the man on the floor. He coughed, trying to breath again while thanking Shan Yu.
Shan Yu looked at every single person on the feast. Every single one. "No one touch what's mine."
Shan Yu wasn't only punishing him, but teaching everyone around him a lesson. And you can't deny, he was a great teacher. Everyone seem to understand. Everyone seem scared enough to never go against him.
But when Shan Yu looked at you, he didn't saw your usual challeging gaze. He didn't saw joy, or tiredness, or surprise. He didn't saw fear. When Shan Yu looked into your eyes, all he saw was disgust.
Your gaze alone made something itch inside him. But your words cut his soul in places he didn't even knew existed.
"You will never touch me," you whispered, only for him to hear. "I will never love you back. Hurt whoever you want, hurt me if you desire, you will never have me."
You told Shan Yu to smarten up. At the time it was only a joke. But now, after seeing how cruel he can be and hearing what he had to say, you changed your mind. Your heart feel smaller. You won't stay here for long.
Without giving him a chance to reply, you turned your back on him and walked towards your carriage. You stood there until you were sure no one had followed you. You put on your boots, grabbed a bag with food and water, and went to the stable.
You were lucky. Everyone was at the feast, which means no one was there to see you riding your sorrel. Which means no one was there to see you running away. Which means your carriage was empty when Shan Yu went there looking for you.
You knew the path you need to follow. Your could hear the river, you saw the birds flying north, all you need to do was to be faster than the Huns. And you're almost sure that they're all drunk.
At some point, maybe twenty minutes after you exit the stable, you heard another horse. You couldn't see it, but you knew it was Shan Yu. That scared you, made you shiver, but you didn't stop. You just went faster and faster.
Shan Yu is strong, but he's too strong. His horse wouldn't be able to compete with your sorrel. He can try, but you know for sure that your sorrel needs to worry about less weight.
He was close. But not close enough.
You don't know for how long you tried to make him struggle, but at some point it started raining. It was harder to see the path, you were shivering, and the ground turned muddy. You tried, you really tried, but nothing can control a horse's response to thunders.
You almost fell when he jumped, your hands burned holding the rein. You weren't so lucky the next time. When you collapsed on the floor, you felt like all the air in your lungs had imploded. You tried to move, the rain falling on your face kept you awake, but you couldn't stand. It burned.
And that gave Shan Yu exactly what he needed: time.
When another thunder came, you rolled to the side so your sorrel wouldn't step on you. You crawled on the ground, holding your head as if it would fall from your neck, and struggle to stand up. It hurts, it burns, but you're stronger. It felt like it was impossible, but you stand where once you fell.
It was hard to control your tears, and even harder to deal with the pain on your chest. You tried to hold your sorrel by its head, but he was so scared. You didn't stop trying to calm him down, but then you heard.
Shan Yu reached you. There he is, so close and yet so far away. Riding his own scared horse, rain dripping on his skin and marking his clothes. He wasn't wearing his usual fur. No. Shan Yu was still using the clothes for the feast.
That made you think less of him. You prepared. You have food, water, maps. And he just took a horse and went to search for you? Why would he act so unprepared?
With thunders ecchoing on your ears and pain spreading along your chest, the right answer didn't even passes through your head. Why Shan Yu was unprepared to the cold, to the rain, to the chase: because he was scared. He was scared that one second he wasted not looking for you would be the second that would separe you both forever. Because Shan Yu was scared. So scared.
"I won't stop trying," you shouted at him. It was so dificult to find strenght to say things, but you did it anyway. Screw it. Don't matter what he does, you will keep trying to flee away from him.
"Don't be stupid." Shan Yu jumped from the horse. You could hear the tiredness on his voice. He also sttrugled with his breath. "Are you trying to kill yourself? What would you do? Keep riding in the rain, waiting until the cold took your body?"
"I would rather die than live as your object!" You tried to mount your horse again, but he keep moving away from you. He was so scared. You caressed his fur, trying to make him stop. "For once, be honest with yourself. Face the truth. You don't love me. You won't have a happily ever after with me like in a old fairytail. I'm just someone you saw naked once. I'm not a person for you. I'm something that only you can consume."
Shan Yu walked towards you, but you moved away. He was trying so hard to be calm. All he wanted to do was took you on his arms, put you on his shoulder and walk you home. Home. There you could scream for how long you wanted. You could speak, he would hear, and things will change. He sighed. "That's not the truth and you know that."
"Do I? Because that is all I know. You saw me naked and now you do anything you can to make me let you fuck me. A person touch me and you almost killed him! Why won't you get over it? Find someone else!"
Then Shan Yu realized that no, you didn't know. You really didn't understand? How could you? He said to you so many times. Shan Yu made sure that you would see it, but you didn't. "I love you," Shan Yu didn't know what else could make you understand that. "I won't find someone else, because you are the one. We are meant to be. This isn't about your body. This isn't about your touch. All I do is to make you see it. To make you want to be mine."
You just glared at him, trying to understand what your mind wanted. Trying to understand him. "But why? Why do you feel this way about me?"
"Because you're like me."
"No. I'm not," you didn't move this time when he stepped closer. "I'm nothing like you."
"You want more of life," Shan Yu stood right in front of you. "You don't want to go back to a dead village, to go through the same day again and again, to no be remembered. I know you want more. You want to see the world. You want to feel free. It's your time to be honest with yourself. Face the truth. You want more."
Shan Yu wanted you to agree. He wanted you to say he was right, that you want more, that you want him. But he thought you would scream at him, push him away, declare your hate for him. He didn't imagined you would cry.
"I don't," Shan Yu stopped. He didn't knew what to say. He didn't want you to cry. He didn't want you to react this way. "Please, don't cry. Everything will be alright."
"I'm tired," you whispered. "Im in pain, I'm scared, and I don't know what I want. I don't know what to do."
"You're hurt?"
You nodded. "I fell."
Shan Yu sighed. How he wanted to just touch you. Hold you in his arms. Clean the trace of tears on your face. See where you hurted yourself. "We will come back to our carriage, we'll eat and rest. And when you're fine, you can decide If you go back home."
It was so dumb. So stupid. You could help but laugh, almost forgeting the tears. "And you would let me go if I want to?"
"I want to feel your love, not to see your disgust." Shan Yu sighed. "If you want to go, you can. But when i defeat the Emperor, when China became mine, I'll come back to you. And then I'll ask you once more if you want to be mine."
"You promise?" You didn't knew what to think about this.
"I do," Shan Yu answered. "Sadly, I do."
• That was the first night of a thunderstorm that lasted days. That was the first night of a thunderstorm that would make Shan Yu fall. That was the first night of a thunderstorm that would change your mind.

Dorm Leaders Meet Villain Counterparts
If my childhood self saw Twst, I feel like she would combust because it's literally two parts of my childhood put together (anime and Disney). But here's something I thought of for Halloween or for some writing in general, hope you enjoy!
Riddle
I feel like he would kind of fangirl, like omg this is literally a Great Seven just standing in front of him!
Is extremely polite, the queen probably likes him because he remembers every rule, every little thing that will get him on his good side.
The two of them probably get along to some extent, though I feel like even if she is kinda bonkers, she would feel a little bad for how he basically had no childhood. Like yeah Riddle's the role-model student and dorm leader, but this kid hasn't had much fun in his life. Might actually be a little more chill with him haha
Overall the two of them are definitely immediate friends and will be a nightmare to Ace and Deuce. I can see these two enjoying tea together while Ace and Deuce have to paint flowers lmaooo
Leona
How does this work? Like a lion meeting a beastman? I feel like Scar would be more confused than Leona like "what is going on this guy's like half me?"
I feel like they wouldn't really have a fangirling moment like Riddle did, but they are definitely chill together. Like Leona might be like "Imma sleep here" and Scar's like "👍" and they don't bother each other. Do I think Scar will try to eat Leona? No. But will he try to eat other students? Maybe
The two totally understand the whole "my-brother-got-all-the-attention" feeling and might bond a bit with that. Not sure what that would look like, but they might complain about how Mufasa/Farena feel too pompous. Oh, and they don't like kids, find them annoying haha
I really have no idea how this would look like since it would look like a lion just standing around in a dorm lobby with a prince just like "yo whattup bro" but I would love to see it!
Azul
Definitely fangirls a little bit, might scare Ursula a tad because he seems to know everything about her? I mean, great at least she's regarding as a "benevolent" person
The two are totally going to plot for someone's demise together and make a fail-proof plan to take over the school. Crowley stops the two from going too far but they have the plan, it might happen any day lol. They definitely talk about their favorite spells and potions for sure
I feel like Ursula would feel kinda bad for Azul too, sort of like Riddle's case. Will remind him to not worry about others since she thinks he's much better than all of the other students. Azul might tear up a bit (the two share a small wholesome moment before going back to business-related stuff)
I feel like it would be kinda fun to see how they would act together. I think they would at first notice each others' scams and then be like "omg great minds think alike" lmaoo
Kalim (feat. Jamil)
Kalim thinks Jafar looks scary, but nonetheless is super hyped to meet him. Will throw a big party and it might cause the sorcerer to be low-key stunned by all of the attention. If Iago's there, he definitely got a biscuit/cracker from Kalim by force
I feel like Jafar will talk more to Jamil than Kalim while he's busy trying to chase Iago down by carpet (please a carpet chase please) mainly because Jafar kinda feels bad for Jamil. Like this guy's had almost the same life as he did, but Jamil is like "nope don't worry I have a plan 😈"
Jamil probably likes Iago because he's always wanted a parrot as a pet, will likely not force a cracker/biscuit which helps Iago warm up to him faster than Kalim.
I think all of these characters could hit it off well, but it's honestly kinda awkward when Jafar's like "I was going to overthrow the sultan" and then Kalim's like "...that lowkey feels familiar but imma let that slide 💀"
Vil
The two are immediately like "you're beautiful queen" "thank you bae" 😭
I literally feel like they would bash their respective rivals while doing skin care together. Like they'll be like "xyz is so annoying" whlie lying down on a couch and the other one is like "fr." Iconic, and definitely all the students can tell the Evil Queen has a regal air about her. Vil doesn't fangirl as much as the others, but he definitely says that he respects her a lot
I think the Evil Queen, as evil as she is, will still feel bad for Vil since she can see how much effort and work he puts into his work. He's a model, an influencer, a dorm leader, all at once and it feels like not a lot of people respect him as much as they should. Definitely tells him that he's doing well
The two of them need to do a collaboration of some kind, and if she happens to help him out on dorm duties one day all of the students are like "oh no it's like 2 Vils at once" lol
Idia
I actually really want to see this, probably will be the funniest interaction because they're almost like polar opposites. Hades is all like "Hades, Lord of the Underworld how'rya doin?" and Idia's like "...eep"
While Hades is around Twisted Wonderland he'll definitely try to raise idia's confidence. Will take him all around campus to get him to talk to people and also to show off his own skills lol. But Hades probably loved watching Idia play video games, like damn why's he so good at rhythm games 💀
Will find Ortho super adorable, but definitely felt really bad about Ortho and Idia's backstory. He may be evil in the Disney version of Greek mythology, but I feel like Hades would still have a bit of a heart to feel bad for Idia, like he's gone through so much in so little time. Probs gave him a hug too
The two of them have definitely tried playing some games together, and whenever the two of them got angry at a boss it was like the room lit up red because of their hair lol. Idia probably thought it was super cool that Hades had similar hair to him, maybe fangirled a little bit about that
Malleus
I feel like the two would have the chillest conversations out of all of them because they just feel like the cool-headed ones. Malleus definitely is respectful towards her, and she is too. Definitely praised him for his magic abilities
The two have bonded over their lack of party invitations, but Malleus is like "oh I've been getting invited to a house tho!" and then boom Yuu has to meet one of the greatest Disney villains of all time while in their pajamas lol
I feel like for sure Maleficent thinks Malleus is a super cool person, might want to meet his mother too just because it might be an interesting interaction. Nonetheless the two of them are super chill. Sebek will want to talk to her too just because she's just so popular
Will Malleus geek out about grotesques and gargoyles to her? Yes. Is it fun for her? Surprisingly so! I feel like even if she's known as the Mistress of Evil, she might like smaller more mundane things like medieval architecture, and it's always fun to hear from Malleus so why not? She has definitely asked Yuu about their life and experiences which might've scared the shit out of them but still haha

I just watched disney's wish, and... I have some thoughts (especially on king Magnifico)
Obviously, SPOILER WARNING
I find it so funny that they didn't give us the backstory for king Magnifico. It's just, oh yeah, my family was murdered and my town ruined, and I learned magic to prevent this from ever happening again. Done? Done. Let's not mention that EVER AGAIN.
He has literally done NOTHING bad before Asha's interruption. He's a stuck-up narcissistic, sure, but he does exactly what he says, keeps wishes safe. Why??? No idea! Because up until he turns big bad (supposedly from his magic book?), he has no use for them! SO, WHY DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The movie is not even 1.5 hours long, and yet IT DRAGS ON. And don't even get me started on the "Asha is actually the fairy godmother, and Magnifico is the enchanted mirror because that's some of the LAZIEST writing I have ever seen in my life.
Anyhow, shout out to Alan Tudyk for not being annoying. The second I saw his character, I thought "yup this is going to be the worst part of the movie." He isn't, he's simply alright.
Great success disney. I have an alternative movie title suggestion for you. It's "HEY, REMEMBER, WE MADE THESE OTHER MOVIES TOO? BUY OUR STUFF. "

A New Form of Psychological Torture Discovered.
Part 2 of the Reverse Isekai Disney Villains x Modern Reader AU
(Or RIDV AU for short)
Warning: Still a whole lot of swearing and OOC
"So... What would you like to know first?"
You asked with your hands clamped together, gathering the energy of minimum wage customer service workers just for this moment.
Those people have the highest patience, and you so badly need that right now.
The rest of the villains remained silent, glancing at one another until Dr. Facilier spoke up.
"How about you start by telling us how we got here... Wherever here is..."
He spoke, leaning forward against the back of the couch, the rest of the villains nodding and muttering in agreement.
"Well, to borrow your words, Dr. Facilier... You're in my world now, not your world... And you guys are the friends on the other side that I seem to have... Accidentally summoned??"
Dr. Facilier raised a brow at that, wondering how you knew that phrase. The rest of the villains, however, either rolled their eyes or groaned in irritation.
"Yea, we know that, babes. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. What we wanna know is how we got here."
You turned to Hades, whose flaming hair was now turning light orange at the tip, showing how quickly he was losing patience with you,
You nervously gulped at that. You're gonna have to speed this up if you want your mansion to remain intact, hoping that reason will save you from 3rd degree burns.
"Alright, alright. Look, I really don't know how you guys got here, but I can tell you what I've been doing before, and you can take away whatever from there. Is that fine with you all?"
Thankfully, most of the villains agreed with reason, turning to Maleficent, who had been silent for most of this entire exchange, for the final say.
"Very well, speak."
With the mistress of all evil's confirmation, you began summarizing the events before their unexpected arrival, from your employer's death, you moving into their mansion, the mysterious door you found, the random junk on pedestals, how you cleaned them, and then the wierd lightshow that happened after that which resulted in their arrival.
By the time you were done enumerating, you were already out of breath, panting as your mouth felt like it had just gone through a marathon.
Was this karma for all those times you didn't speak up during those group presentations?
The villains contemplated your words, processing every detail (including the ones they deemed useless and unnecessary) before Jafar finally decided to speak up.
"You mentioned having cleaned some... Random junk before our arrival, correct?"
He asked with a raised brow, the other villains turning to face you for confirmation and a silent order for you to fetch those items for them.
You nodded at that, wordlessly running back to the mysterious room to gather every item in your arms and rushing back to the living room, laying them on the coffee table.
Most of the villain's eyes lit up in recognition of some of the items, snatching them off the table and inspecting them closely.
Maleficent held onto her staff, watching as the crystal orb at the top glowed a soft green. (1st mistake, letting the tall dark fae hold onto what is the equivalent of a lethal magical weapon)
Grimhilde didn't seem too fond or attached to the mirror in her hand, but she appreciated still being able to admire herself in its fractured surface.
Hades didn't seem too attached to the item he held too, inspecting the lit torch with a raised brow.
Jafar on the other hand was all too eager with the lamp in his hold, aggressively rubbing its surface with the cloth of his wrist, only to let out an irritated huff when it did not yield the results he desired.
Captain Hook was carefully inspecting the silver hook and the iron hook he had on him with a critical eye, and after careful contemplation, he decided to trade his rusty iron hook for a clean silver one, disregarding it over his shoulder as he gleefully applied the new hook onto his arm. (2nd mistake, letting the fancy ass pirate attach a deadly weapon onto their person. At least you won't get infected with tetanus when he makes good on his promise to slice your throat)
Gaston was checking his hunting rifle for any marks or scratches on the surface, doing mock firing poses before letting out a hum of approval. (3rd mistake, does not need an explanation whatsoever. He is a big dumb man with a big gun) As he was about to set the hunting rifle down, he accidentally pulled on the trigger, causing everyone within the vicinity to flinch in surprise at the loud bang, looking up to see the large bullet hole that was made on the ceiling of your home, some debris falling off. (Case and point)
Shaking his head at Gaston's mishap, Dr. Facilier continued to shuffle the deck of tarot cards in his hands, effortlessly doing card tricks like it was second nature. (You may or may not have been momentarily entraced by the smooth and eye-catching movement)
Shan Yu, who had not said a word since the "summoning incident" stood at the far side of the room, leaning against a wall as he simply watched the scene before him, the sword now kept on a sheath that was strapped around him. (4th mistake, again, very self-explanatory. Big man who's literally and probably the only person in this room with the largest body count) Shan Yu's head turned to your direction when he felt your gaze on him, his gold eyes seeming to pierce through you, causing another unsettling chill to crawl down your spine.
You decided to quickly turn your gaze away from the ruthless hun leader and focus your sights back on the rest of the group.
Watching Scar boredly play with the lion skull like it was a sock puppet of some sorts, Ursula and Cruela already wearing the nautilus shell necklace and the exotic fur coat respectively, and finally Oogie Boogie rolling the pair of die around his pointy stub of sack he called a hand. (How the dices remained on his hand despite his lack of fingers is a mystery you will never learn the truth to)
"Great. Now that I've satiated your curiosity. I'm gonna go..."
You mumble aloud, not really caring if they heard you or not. You just wanted to escape to the kitchen right now. You were starving.
Before you could make your great escape, however, a gloved hand grabbed a hold of your shoulders.
"Now hold on just a moment darling, you haven't completely satiated our curiosities just yet..."
Cruela stated, her grip surprisingly strong for someone of her age and stature.
"She's right. We've still got one thing left to ask."
Says Ursula as she comes closer to you, a tentacle wrapping itself tightly around your leg, preventing you any chances to bail.
You begin to grow nervous as they all begin to crowd you once more.
"Uhm... And... What exactly... would that be?"
You hesitantly ask.
"You referred to us as... Disney Villains... Why?"
Grimhilde commanded, glaring down at you.
"And you best not deceive us, little one, because I'm starting to get quite... Hungry..."
Threatened Scar as he licked his tongue over his canines, eyeing you like you were gonna be his next meal.
...
Oh
...
O H
...
Oh shit.
Gods you and your big mouth, why did you have to say that before them? They obviously don't have any idea that they're works of fiction and entertainment like in Mickey's House of Mouse or Once upon a Studio.
Actually, how would they react to that?
It was never really shown how the characters coped with the idea of being created for the purpose of entertaining children.
So how would they respond to the realization that their lives had been depicted for them from the very start and that they had no actual say in the course of their stories?
...
A morbid curiosity begins to settle in your mind as a smile spreads across your cheeks, making the villains unconsciously flinch at the uneasy feeling that came with your wide and ecstatic grin as you look up at them.
"How likely are you all to suffer from an existential crisis?"

On some days I feel more animalistic than others. Today was one of those days
My aunt (who I can't stand) invited me and my father to her little birthday party. I was already pissed because I'd have to wear long sleeves so that the rest of the family wouldn't freak out. We picked up my grandparents on the way there, and my granddad, (who I usually enjoy hanging out with btw) randomly pinched my shoulder while he was behind me
I instinctively let out a hiss. Why do people always have to touch me?? It scares me.
After we arrived at my aunt, two of her relatives who I've never seen before came in, and one of them claimed to know me. Claimed that I just HAD to remember him as I saw him YEARS ago or something. He and his wife kept glaring at me, baring their teeth ("smiling") at me (in a way that would suggest that I'm stupid or something) expecting me to copy their useless expressions... When I didn't they looked so angry. So disgusted. As if I had misbehaved
My aunt also kept shooting me deadly glances. She's the kind of person who HATES animals. She hates animals, dirt, nature. I am all of that, always have been, and she's always despised me due to it, even when I was young. Always too "wild" for her taste
And god all of them were so loud. I was completely overstimulated and overheated, I wanted to hide under the table and whine, that's how loud they were, screaming in their senseless language, gossiping about others just living their lifes.
I felt the fur on my neck spiking up, my ears pinning back.
For the first time in quite a while, I felt truly out of place

In a kingdom tucked between rolling foothills and towering mountains was a beautiful princess who lived in a castle. She was the eldest of the King and Queen and was sought after by many men.
One day while out on a walk, she met a boy with horns and large wings that spread out past his shoulders. Though the boy seemed younger than her, his appearance was still intimidating and daunting.
The princess was terrified. She had never seen a creature such as he and cowered away in fear. He insisted he meant no harm, trying his best to assure her he wasn't a threat. He introduced himself so that maybe it would ease the girl's nerves. It took some patience and a bit of convincing until the princess hesitantly and cautiously began to approach the boy.
They somehow ended up talking and the princess soon found out he wasn't such a bad guy after all, in fact, he was pleasant to be around.
After that day, they continued to meet up, going on walks together, admiring nature, and sharing stories. The winged boy had fallen for the princess along the way, despite her being five years older than him. Seeing as he hadn't met many people, the age difference wasn't a problem in his eyes; she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
Time passed and eventually he couldn't take it anymore, couldn't hold back his feelings. He needed to set them free.
One sunny spring day, he led the princess out to a field overlooking the glistening streams winding and twisting throughout the valleys below. He poured his heart out, confessing the strong adoration he held for the princess.
Her bright smile faded as he laid out his heart.
"I'm sorry. I've already fallen for another." She told him.
It felt as if his heart was shattered—more like crushed.
He asked why, begged for a further explanation. The princess returned with a simple response.
"I love him."
That made the boy angry. They spent all that time together and she fell for another man?
"Is there something wrong with me?" He asked sharply.
"I'm sorry. I've only ever seen you as a younger brother. Even so, I don't think I could be with someone such as yourself."
"Such as myself? What's that supposed to mean?"
The princess began stumbling over her words, desperately trying to come up with an explanation.
"That's not what I meant." She tried to say.
The boy was already angry, but that comment sent him over the edge.
He lashed out at the princess, enraged that she didn't return his feelings and even more so that she referred to his appearance in a negative way. As he spit his words of poison, the sky turned gray; his powers unknowingly effecting the weather.
He told the princess he never wanted to see her again and disappeared, deep into the woods never to return.
Six years passed. The boy was now a man; 23 to be exact. Heartbroken and emotionally destroyed, he kept himself hidden in the forest, his home now surrounded by thorns to keep everyone away. He would never let his heart get broken again.
He hadn't seen another human in years so he assumed the wall of sharp spikes worked, until one day.
You meandered down the trails that lined the hillside. Life as royalty is suffocating, especially when you're always getting compared to your older sister. It's physically and emotionally exhausting and sometimes you just need to get away from it all.
You took in a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air; the many scents of nature mixing and mingling together in the most magical way. You trekked up the hill, admiring the beautiful flowers and wild plants that dotted it.
You reached a nice, flat area, sitting down in the lush grass and admiring the view. Scanning the horizon, your eyes landed on the tree line that sat on what everyone calls the boundary line. It was strange to you how the weather was different above the large cluster of trees compared to the rest of the sky. The clouds at the boundary line and beyond were dark and looked ominous. Not only that, but an area that overlooks the valleys was even affected by the dreary and bleak weather. No flowers or plants grew in that spot which you found odd.
You looked down at the tree line once again. There was something that tugged at your chest, drawing your towards it. It was an odd sensation that you hadn't felt before. Without realizing, you stood up, descending down the hill towards the edge of the forest.
You didn't think twice when you stepped over the boundary line and into the lush and mysterious grove.
The atmosphere became colder, darker, and even a bit eerie as you moved deeper into the woods—despite that, you refused to turn back, feeling like you needed to keep going.
You came upon a large wall of thorns that blocked the way. Your brows knit together as you tried to get a peek at what was behind it.
"What are you doing here?" Someone asked.
You let out a short gasp, spinning towards the voice.
Standing a few feet away was a man. His raven hair reached below his cheekbones, black tendrils hanging over his extremely handsome features, pointed ears peeking out from his dark locks. Emerging from the top of his head were two rather large horns, even larger wings on his back.
"Oh. I'm terribly sorry." You apologized.
"You need to leave." He spoke sharply. "You don't belong here."
"My apologies. I didn't think anyone lived here."
"Well, I do."
"What's your name?" You inquired.
"You don't need to know my name."
"But I'd like to."
He clenched his jaw, refusing to answer.
You tilted your head as you looked at the massive pair of wings on the man's back.
"I'm gonna call you Birdie."
"There's no need for that."
"So, you're gonna tell me your name?" You raised a brow.
"No."
"Okay then, Birdie."
He let out a long, drawn-out sigh.
"Seonghwa." He finally answered.
"What was that?"
"I'm not gonna say it again."
"Seonghwa." You repeated. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Y/n."
"I know who you are." He snapped.
"You do? But, I've never met you."
"I already asked you once. Leave."
You took a few steps forward, obeying his wishes only to stop when you got near him.
"Why do you live here? It's so dark and it seems a bit lonely."
"I like it that way."
You didn't respond as you walked away, leaving the strange man in the woods.
Seonghwa stood and watched you leave, wanting to make sure you didn't turn around—you didn't.
"Y/n L/n." He muttered under his breath his face scrunching in distaste.
He was glad you left. He couldn't hardly look at you without thinking of her.
Thoughts of the winged man in the woods filled your mind to the brim even after you returned home. You couldn't just forget about him, your good nature wouldn't let you. You knew something was troubling him. It was very clear that he was in anguish. You felt that tugging in your chest whenever you thought of him. That let you know you needed to go back to the man—and that you did.
Unfortunately, you weren't able to get away from the castle for a couple days thanks to your royal duties. However, today was perfect.
"I'm going out for a walk." You announced.
"Don't go past the boundary line, okay?" Your father called.
"Of course. I'll be sure to steer clear." You lied through your teeth, stepping outside.
The bottom of your shoes hit the grass rapidly as you raced across the field to the boundary line and into the forest.
"Seonghwa?" You called out.
No answer.
Assuming he was at home, you headed to the wall of thorns you were at just a few days prior. His house most likely resided just past the large barrier which you couldn't see past.
"Is anyone home?" You shouted.
Nothing.
"Seonghwa?"
Still no answer.
You let out a sigh and stepped away, going to search the woods. You very well could have just left, but something in you felt like this man needed you.
Leaves crunched beneath the bottom of your shoes as you trekked through the forest, determined to find the winged man.
Said man was out and about, flying above the trees. He loved the way the wind felt brushing past his wings and hair. He felt free and like he didn't have anything to worry about. That feeling, however, was diminished immediately when he saw you walking below.
You heard the sound of wings flapping above you. Lifting your gaze, you saw Seonghwa descending from the sky.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, his tone sharp and tinged with annoyance.
"I came to see you."
"You wasted your time. Go away."
"I just want a moment of your time. Please."
Seonghwa's jaw clenched. This was only his second time meeting you in person, but you infuriated him to no end.
Suddenly, vines emerged from the ground, wrapping tightly around your body and constricting your arms. You gasped, your heart jumping in your chest.
"What do you want?" He hissed, bringing his face closer to yours.
"I just feel like you need a friend."
"I don't need anyone." He seethed. "I'm not some charity case, okay? So stop treating me like one."
"That's not it. I just..." You trailed off, unsure of what to say.
"You just what?"
"I can't explain."
"Good." The vines loosened and retracted into the dirt. "I didn't wanna hear it anyway. Now leave and don't come back."
"But—"
"Leave!" His voice boomed.
You cowered slightly, shaken by his sudden outburst.
"Can I just ask you one question?" You asked weakly.
"If it'll make you leave, yes."
"Why are you the way that you are? Did something happen to make you this way?"
Seonghwa's jaw tightened. How could you ask something like that?
"That was two questions." He remarked.
"Someone hurt you in the past." You stated.
His eyes widened just slightly, but he was quick to recover, putting on his usual stony expression.
"I don't know who hurt you, but I'm truly sorry. I'm sure you didn't deserve it."
"I don't want your sympathy." He spat. "You don't know anything about me."
"That may be true, but I know someone hurt you deeply."
Your questions and responses were getting a little too personal for Seonghwa's liking. He wanted you out of his forest immediately.
"Get out of my sight before I burn you to a crisp." He snarled, green flames beginning to emerge from his palm.
You stared at the viridescent blaze before moving away from the winged man. You were afraid you had pushed him too far and you really didn't want to get yourself killed trying to befriend this strange forest-dwelling man, so you decided to give up.
"As you wish." You murmured, turning around and walking away.
The flames dissipated from Seonghwa's palm as he watched you get further and further away, but the more distant you got, the guiltier he felt. Why did he feel guilty?
He rolled his eyes and let out a huff before shooting off towards you. With a few flaps of his wings he was directly in front of you, stopping you in your tracks.
"I have a question for you." He spoke. "How do you know someone hurt me? It could be something else, so why did you say that?"
"Well, normally when someone shuts themselves off from the world and isolates themselves, it's because someone hurt them. When I said that, your eyes twitched. Actually, they widened slightly, but you were so quick to cover it up, it looked like your eyelids twitched."
The expression on Seonghwa's face changed slightly and you could tell he was surprised by your response.
"I'm very perceptive." You explained.
"Evidently so."
"Well, if that's all you needed, I should be going." You took a step forward only for him to stop you.
"Wait."
You turned to face him, watching as he slightly rolled his eyes, letting out a sigh as if he was dreading the words he was about to speak.
"I'm... sorry." He forced out. "I shouldn't have been so harsh with you."
"Thank you. I appreciate that."
"Do you want to come back to my place? I could... make you some tea." The offer was genuine, but he seemed hesitant about it.
"I would love that."
"Very well." He gave a short nod and headed back towards his place.
You followed behind until he came to a stop at the large wall of thorns, waving his hand over the prickly, dead vines. You watched in awe as they separated just enough for the both of you to pass. Behind the thorn barrier sat a quaint little cottage, which you couldn't even see if you were standing outside the wall.
The interior of the cabin was incredibly cozy and had a warm ambiance to it. There were dried flowers in frames on the walls, books lining the shelves, along with little trinkets and tchotchkes littering the shelving.
"Have a seat." Seonghwa gestured to a small table as he proceeded to the kitchen.
You twiddled your thumbs anxiously as Seonghwa prepared tea for the both of you.
You watched from the table as he worked until the hot beverage was finished. He brought over a teapot and two cups, pouring tea into each one. You quietly thanked him and took a small sip.
"Now, why have you come back here?" He inquired bluntly.
So we're getting right down to business. You thought to yourself.
"It's silly." You brushed it off.
"What's silly?"
"The reason why I came back."
"I'd like an answer regardless of how it sounds."
"Very well." You sighed. "I felt a tugging in my chest. I felt like I was being pulled towards you. I don't know why, but I assume I wasn't feeling that way for no reason. Maybe it was my conscience."
Seonghwa's thick brows pulled together in a almost suspicious manner as he eyed you.
To be honest, your answer didn't sound outlandish to him. In fact, you were probably right. Your conscience was telling you to come see him for whatever reason. That he could understand. What he couldn't understand was why it had to be you.
"Right. So, you had this tugging in your chest. Your conscience, inner voice, whatever drawing you here. Now what?"
"I don't know." You shrugged. "I was kind of hoping we could be friends."
Friends? Seonghwa thought.
Why would he want that? Why would you want that?
You took a sip of tea and cleared your throat, feeling a bit awkward due to the silence.
"You have a lovely home." You complimented.
"Thanks."
"So." Your nails tapped lightly against the glass of the teacup. "What sort of creature are you, if you don't mind my asking."
"I'm a dark fairy." He answered.
"Ah. I've heard of them, I've just never seen one before. Your kind must be rare."
"They are."
Well, this conversation is going nowhere. You thought, sighing internally.
Your eyes drifted down to the table, staring at the grain of the wood like it was the most interesting thing in the world. In that moment, it was.
"Sorry." Seonghwa spoke up. "I haven't spoken to another person in a while. I'm not used to having guests."
"It's fine." You brushed it off.
"So, do the king and queen know you're here? I'm sure they wouldn't want the princess hanging out with someone like me."
"How do you know I'm a princess?"
"I told you I know who you are."
"Right." You muttered. "To answer your question, no."
Seonghwa raised a brow. "Really? You're doing this behind their backs?"
"I am."
"Hm." He hummed. "Maybe I underestimated you."
"Maybe you did." You shrugged. "So, are you gonna tell me who hurt you so bad?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"It's not the time." He answered, simply.
The atmosphere became quiet again and you struggled to come up with something to talk about.
"I like the dried flowers you have framed on the walls."
"Thanks. I did that myself."
"You did?"
He nodded.
"You have some near knickknacks on your shelves as well."
"I collected most of them. They're all from different places. Some were even gifted to me by some of the creatures that used to dwell in these woods."
Your eyes sparkled as Seonghwa talked, he hated it. He hated it because it made him feel things. Feelings he hadn't felt in so long.
That's why it was so hard to just push you away. He couldn't help but want to be nice to you.
"The tea is really good." You mentioned.
"Thanks. It's my own tea."
"You make your own tea?" You asked.
"I do. I collect berries and stuff in the woods, dry them out, and make my own tea bags."
You found that extremely endearing for some reason. Perhaps it was because Seonghwa seemed so intimidating and knowing he made his own tea made him seem a bit softer.
You returned home from yet another "walk." That was the excuse you used when you went to spend time with Seonghwa. You felt that you had made lots of progress with him. He no longer seemed distant when you spoke and he had even smiled a few times. Something else that changed was the feelings you developed for the dark fairy. The two of you had only known each other for about three weeks, but it felt like much longer.
You pushed open the doors to the castle and stepped inside only to be met with your mother and father, who looked rather worried.
"Where have you been?" Your dad asked.
"I told you, I went out for a walk."
"You were gone for so long." Your mom mentioned.
"I guess I lost track of time. Sorry."
"Well." Sighed your father. "It can't be helped. Come here. There's someone I want you to meet."
Your parents led you into the common room where you saw a woman and a younger man sitting on the couch.
You vaguely recognized the two, but you knew they were royals from another kingdom.
"Y/n, this is Queen Son and Prince Dongju."
"Hello." You bowed, politely.
"We invited them over because there are things we needed to discuss." You dad explained.
"What kind of things?" You asked.
"The wedding." Dongju's mom mentioned.
"Wedding?" You questioned.
"Oh." His mom placed a hand over her mouth. "She doesn't know yet, does she?"
"Mom, dad, what's going on?"
"Y/n, Dongju is your fiancé." Your dad said.
"Fiancé?!" You exclaimed.
You hadn't meant to raise your voice, but this was news to you.
"Honey, please calm down." Your mom spoke quietly.
"You've never discussed an arranged marriage with me." You spoke more calmly, trying not to let your temper get ahead of you.
"We know." Your dad nodded.
"Then why? You both told me I could be with whoever I wanted."
"You're getting to the age where you should start settling down. We've been waiting for you to find someone, but you haven't."
"So, I took too long?"
"That's not why." Your mom cut in.
"Maybe I just haven't found the right person."
That was a lie. You had found the right person. You knew your parents wouldn't approve of him, though. Especially considering the fact that he lived behind the forbidden boundary line.
"It doesn't matter now. We've chosen Prince Dongju for you to marry." Your dad spoke. "He's a wonderful young man and you two getting married will be good for both kingdoms."
You sighed, knowing you couldn't do anything about it.
"Now, we would like for the two of you to get to know each other. Him and his mother will be staying with us for the next few days so the two of you can get acquainted. That means no more going on walks."
You felt all the blood drain from your face as your father said those last few words.
No more walks.
That means no seeing Seonghwa until the prince and his family leave.
The first day was torture. All you could think about was Seonghwa. You wondered how he was doing and if he wanted to know where you were. Was he waiting for you?
Millions of questions swirled in your head as you sat with Dongju. You were hardly able to keep a conversation going as your mind filled with more thoughts of Seonghwa.
"Oh. I have a twin brother."
You blinked a few times, zoning back into the conversation.
"Hm?"
"I have a twin brother."
"Really?"
"Yeah. He's my fraternal twin. His name is Dongmyeong. He's back home with my father. Someone had to stay behind and run things while mother and I made this trip here."
"Ah." You nodded. "Is it hard to being away from your brother?"
"Not really. We're close, but sometimes I need a break from him." He chuckled.
Meanwhile, the dark fairy sat at home, his fingers tapping against his table.
"Where is she?" He asked, aloud.
He wondered where you were and why you hadn't showed up yet. He quickly decided that you were probably busy and chose to brush it off. Plus, he was still in denial of his feelings for you and forced himself to think that he didn't care for you as deeply as he really did.
You sat in your room, a heavy feeling in your chest. You missed Seonghwa. You hadn't seen him in three days and you wanted nothing more than to go spend time with him.
A tapping on your window caught your attention. You glanced over at the glass doors to your balcony, gasping when you saw Dongju outside. Jumping from your place on the bed, you scrambled over to the doors, stepping out on the balcony.
"Dongju, what are you doing here? Did you climb up here by yourself?"
"I did." He answered, breathlessly. "I wanted to talk to you."
"And you couldn't use my door to do it?"
"I had to speak to you privately. I didn't want anyone to see me."
"What's so important that you had to climb my balcony to tell me?"
"I don't want this marriage either."
Your eyes widened. "Really?"
"Yeah. You're a sweet girl, but I don't feel that way about you."
"I feel exactly the same. You're really nice and I like you, but not in a romantic way."
"I'm glad we're on the same page." He smiled. "I've been wanting to tell you, but every time we get "alone" time, my mom or your parents are nearby. I just felt that I couldn't tell you this knowing they were around."
"I totally understand." You nodded. "So, what should we do about this?"
Seonghwa had become worried at this point. He hadn't seen you in three days. He went back and forth with himself trying to decide if he was going to see your or not. He really wanted to, but he hasn't left the forest ever, especially not after she broke his heart.
Before he could change his mind, he got up and hurried outside, taking to the sky.
He flew directly to the castle, hoping to see you—and he did. Upon his arrival, he spotted you and some guy outside on a balcony. You were chatting with him, looking more than happy as you did so. Seonghwa's chest began to ache as that all-too-familiar feeling of heartbreak crashed over him, except this time it was worse, so much worse.
"Okay. So we talk to our parents tomorrow and tell them we both don't want this marriage." You stated.
"Right." Dongju nodded.
"My parents are very understanding, so I'm sure we can get this sorted out."
"I hope so."
"Thank you for coming to talk to me." You thanked him, leaning in to give him a hug of appreciation, which he kindly returned.
As if things weren't bad already, you leaned in and hugged the guy. Seonghwa's heart felt as if it was being crushed. He wanted to cry, but more than anything, he wanted to do something bad—something horrible. He could feel the heat of his powers rising to the surface of his palms as small, green embers began to emerge from his hands. Then, your eyes met his.
Your brows raised at the sight of him. You hadn't expected to see him outside of the forest, let alone outside your home.
"Seonghwa!" You called out, parting with Dongju.
The prince turned his head to see who you had called out to, gasping when he saw the dark fairy hovering a few feet away.
Seonghwa grimaced at you before turning around and flying back towards his home.
"Seonghwa!" You called out to him again, but he ignored you, too heartbroken to even look at you.
You stared at the spot Seonghwa previously occupied, worry filling you to the brim.
"Who was that?" Asked Dongju.
You sighed, dropping your head. "Someone I've recently become close with. I've been sneaking off to meet him."
"What?"
"Yeah. He lives that way in the forest." You pointed, not lifting your head. "I'm not allowed to go past the tree line, but I have been for weeks."
The air became silent after your confession. You lifted your head to look at Dongju who had a soft expression on his face.
"You love him, don't you?"
Your eyes widened. "What?"
"I can tell." Dongju nodded.
"You're right." You sighed. "I do love him."
"You should tell him that."
"And how do you suggest I do that? I haven't been allowed off the grounds since you showed up. Besides, I don't even think I can. With both your mom and my parents constantly hovering over us, I won't have a chance to leave."
The next day, Dongju did his best to comfort you. You appreciated his efforts, but nothing could cheer you up. You stared at your plate of food, pushing it around with your fork.
"You need to eat your breakfast, Y/n." Dongju spoke, care and concern lacing his voice.
"I'm not hungry."
"You should eat something. Even if you just have a couple bites of toast."
You decided to listen to him, especially since his mother and your parents were watching from the other side of the table. You took a few bites of toast along with one measly bite of eggs which seemed to satisfy Dongju.
"They're getting along so well." Dongju's mom gushed.
After breakfast, your parents and Dongju's mother went out on the terrace to have tea and discuss wedding plans. For the first time since the arrival of the neighboring royals, you and Dongju were alone.
"Hey. Let's go on a walk." The prince suggested.
"I don't know." You murmured.
"C'mon. Some fresh air would do you some good."
You sighed, knowing he was right. "Okay."
The both of you got up and went outside to the terrace.
"King and Queen L/n, mom. Y/n and I are going on a walk together." Dongju mentioned.
"That sounds wonderful. Make sure you take one of the guards with you." Your mom said.
"Yes. It's better to be safe." Dongju's mom added.
"Of course." Dongju nodded.
The both of you made your way out of the castle, stopping momentarily by the guards.
"Princess Y/n and I will be going on a walk. We won't be needing your services today." He told the two guards.
"As you wish, your highness." They nodded.
With that, you and Dongju took off, embarking on your walk.
You weren't paying attention to anything as you trailed behind Dongju. You just followed him, dragging your feet through the grass.
"Where are we going?" You asked.
"It's a surprise."
You sighed, not in the mood for any surprises.
"We're almost there."
"Almost where?"
"It's a secret."
You shook your head, but allowed him to lead you to this secret location. You kept your eyes cast on the ground, watching your feet as you walked.
"Alright. We're here!" Dongju announced, prompting you go lift your head.
You gasped. You were stood in front of the tree line, the clouds looming above the sticklike branches of the trees.
"Why did you bring me here?" You asked Dongju.
"You have to talk to him."
You opened your mouth to say something, but he spoke up.
"You've got time. I'll be waiting right here."
You gave him a soft smile. "Thank you."
Taking a step forward, you passed the boundary line and made your way into the forest, determined to speak to Seonghwa.
You approached the wall of thorns that separated the dark fairy's home from the rest of the forest, hoping to see Seonghwa. You called his name, but he didn't show, leading you to believe he either wasn't home or he was ignoring you.
"Seonghwa." You croaked.
No answer.
"I don't know if you're in there, but I wanted to say I'm sorry. I know what you saw looked really bad, but I promise you, it's not what you think it is." You got no answer in return, but continued anyway. "You're very dear to me, Seonghwa." Your voice became shaky as you spoke. "You deserve the truth and that's what I want to tell you."
Seonghwa, who was on the other side of the wall listening, couldn't take it anymore. When he heard your voice crack, that was it.
Before you could speak another word, the thorns cleared and Seonghwa emerged from the opening, rushing over to you.
"Don't cry." He murmured, wiping your tears.
"Seonghwa." You sobbed.
"Shh." He shushed you, brushing your hair away from your face. "Please don't cry."
"I'm sorry." You whimpered. "I just thought I'd never see you again."
He let out a sigh. "I need to take you somewhere."
You didn't have time to speak as he scooped you up into his arms, causing a small yelp to escape you.
"Hang on tight."
Seonghwa shot into the sky, his large, inky wings flapping powerfully behind him as he carried the both of you over the trees.
You clung tightly to him as you gazed below you. Everything was so pretty from up there in the sky. It almost made you forget about your worries. Almost.
Seonghwa took you to the spot that overlooked the kingdom—the one that was always shaded by ominous clouds. Now, they had cleared, the spot now illuminated by the glow of the sun. He landed softly in the grass, setting you down.
"Let's sit." He motioned.
The two of you took a seat in the grass, admiring the view.
"Seonghwa, I have something to tell you." You spoke up.
"No." He stopped you. "I need to say this first."
You respectfully allowed him to say his piece.
"I think I've fallen for you." He admitted.
"What?"
The confession took you by surprise.
"I hated you at first. You were so persistent in trying to be friends with me and it was annoying, but eventually I started to enjoy your company. I began worrying if you showed up a little late and found myself thinking of you when you weren't around."
You frowned, your heart sinking.
"I'm sorry." You murmured.
"Let me guess. You can't be with a creature like me. Is that it?" He remarked, bitterly.
"No, not at all. It's not that."
"You don't have to lie, Y/n."
"I'm not. Seonghwa, I've fallen for you too, but..." You trailed off. "I'm arranged to be married. I was taking too long to find someone and so my parents are trying to force me to marry a prince from a nearby kingdom. That's who you saw me with last night."
Seonghwa looked relieved and saddened at the same time.
"Then why did you seem so happy. And why did I see you hug him?"
"He came to tell me that he didn't want to get married. He's just as against this as I am, and it made me happy. I hugged him because I was glad he came to tell me that. We actually planned to speak to our parents today, but he brought me here to talk to you."
"He did?"
"Yes. I haven't been allowed to leave because my parents want me and Prince Dongju to 'get to know each other.' but after what happened last night, he encouraged me to confess to you. In fact, he told our parents we were going on a walk and brought me here. I didn't even know this is where he was taking me."
"So he snuck you out just so you could come and explain everything to me?"
You nodded. "And to tell you that I love you."
Seonghwa leaned forward, bringing his hand up to cup your cheek, his thumb caressing your cheekbone. You saw his eyes dart down to your lips as if to silently ask permission to make a move. You answered by moving your face closer to his, your cheeks becoming warm.
Seonghwa lessened the space between your mouths, your eyes closing in response to the kiss. His lips were soft against yours, moving delicately and carefully. Your hands moved to his hair, grabbing onto the long strands at the base of his neck. It was a brief kiss, but it lingered even after Seonghwa pulled away.
"You remember when you asked me who hurt me so badly?" He questioned.
"Yeah."
"Well, that person was your older sister. I was in love with her—well, I thought I was in love with her. I brought her to this very spot and confessed my feelings. She told me she loved someone else and that she only saw me as a little brother. I reacted pretty badly and shut myself off from everyone." He explained.
Everything then began to make sense. When your sister started dating her now husband, you noticed how parts of the land were constantly covered in dark clouds, but you didn't ever think much of it. After that, your parents started telling you not to cross into the forest and that it was forbidden. It also made sense why your sister wanted to move away so quickly after she married. However, you never knew about any of this.
"Do you still have those feelings for her?" You asked, not wanting Seonghwa to be in love with you because of your older sister.
"No." He answered, lacing his fingers with yours. "I said I thought I loved her. I was just a kid. I realize now that I just liked her company and I confused it for love. The person I truly love is you."
Your heart swelled with warmth and adoration.
"I want you to come back to the castle with me."
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yes. Dongju is waiting down there for me. You can return to the castle with us."
"Okay." Seonghwa nodded.
He flew you back to the tree line where Dongju was waiting. He was surprised to see you come back with Seonghwa, but happy that it seemed the two of you had patched things up.
You then explained the plan you had, telling Dongju that Seonghwa would be coming back to the castle with you both.
Once you made it home, you noticed your parents and Dongju's mom were still outside on the terrace. You instructed Seonghwa to stay inside until you motioned for him to step out. He nodded, allowing you and Dongju to go outside.
"Mom." The prince spoke up as you both approached. "Y/n and I have something to tell you—all of you."
You nodded.
"We don't want to get married."
"What?" Dongju's mom asked.
"It's true. Neither of us want this marriage." You spoke up. "Plus, I'm already in love with someone."
"What?" Your dad asked in disbelief.
"You've never told us." Your mom mentioned.
"I wasn't ready to say anything. Now, I am."
You then moved towards the doors leading to the terrace, motioning for Seonghwa to come outside.
The doors opened and he stepped out, all three parents gasping.
"Y/n, why have you brought this man here?" Your father asked.
"Because I love him."
"Do you know who this is?"
"I do."
"Y/n, this is the man that caused your sister so much sadness."
"He did no such thing." You defended. "He was hurt, that's why he lashed out at her. And as for my sister, she moved on and moved away. She has a husband and a life of her own now."
"Your majesty." Seonghwa spoke up. "I apologize for anything I might have done to make you or your daughter upset. I was 17 and just happy to have found someone who wanted to spend time with me. I confused it for love and when your oldest daughter turned me down, it hurt me and I lashed out. I said some harsh things to her and I'm deeply sorry."
Your father scowled as he looked at Seonghwa, then his gaze turned to you, his face softening.
"Dongju, what do you have to say about this?"
"Like I mentioned earlier, I didn't want to marry Y/n in the first place. I much prefer her be with someone she knows and loves." He answered.
"You don't know this man, Y/n." Your mother spoke up.
"I do. You see, I've been going to meet with him."
Your parents gasped, aghast at this revelation.
"I've gotten to know him over time and truth is, we both love each other."
As you spoke those words, you reached out, lacing your fingers with Seonghwa's. Both your parents saw this gesture.
"Look at them, honey." Your mom spoke quietly. "Do you see how their faces glow? They really do love each other."
Your father seemed to go back and forth with himself for a few moments before nodding his head. "You're right."
You felt a little bit of hope spark within you as your dad approached Seonghwa. You were surprised when your father held his hand out to Seonghwa. The dark fairy took hold, giving your dad's hand a firm shake.
"I accept your apology." Your father stated.
"Thank you, your majesty."
"But, I want you to treat my Y/n right."
"I will, sir. Promise."
"Good."
The plans for the wedding were cancelled and Dongju and his mother went back home. Your parents allowed you to spend time with Seonghwa and the ban on crossing the boundary line was lifted.
The dark clouds that constantly hung over the forest cleared and all the creatures that dwelled there came out of hiding. You didn't even know there were any other creatures besides Seonghwa that lived in the woods.
The two of you sat in the lush grass in the same spot where he confessed to you. The sun shone down on the entire kingdom, cloaking it in warmth. You plucked another flower from the grass, placing it in Seonghwa's dark hair with the others. You had given him a makeshift flower crown, placing the blooms around his head.
"How do I look, darling?" He asked.
"Beautiful."
He grinned, pulling you closer to him.
He pressed a soft kiss to your lips, his finger resting under your chin as he moved his head ever so slightly to the side, deepening the kiss.
When you parted ways, you couldn't help but smile, still overjoyed that the two of you were able to be together.
You were so thankful you chose to step past the boundary line that day, because if you hadn't, you and Seonghwa wouldn't have met each other, and you definitely wouldn't have gotten the happy ending you have now.

A big mistake

For as long as you can remember, you have always been passionate about animals, especially the ones that roamed in the Savannah.
The thing is, you were never scared of hyenas until one tried to get you alive. As a child, you went on camping trips with your parents and siblings in the Savannah. There was one camping trip in particular you will always remember because well, you somehow got lost in the Savannah.
You had a gift handed down to you at birth, the ability to talk to animals and when you had run into Mufasa, Scar, and even a few of the hyenas, they were able to help find your way back home, to your family. Not only had this been the last time you ventured off into the Savannah, but it was also the last time you’ve seen them. Those animals who had become your friends never slipped your mind, not even once. You were determined and dedicated on going back to find them, and you waited for that opportunity to seize. Finally, you were able to seize that opportunity when you were invited by some friends of yours on a trip back to the Savannah, the very same place where you met Scar and the hyenas. You made the whole purpose of the trip to find them, but to avail. No sooner did you arrive, you were already looking at your last day, wrapping things up with a campfire and friends, talking about the trip and feeling that it was successful.
Although you did not meet your goal, you still remained optimistic. It was still a difficult pill to swallow, but you were quick to learn to accept it. A lion’s roar disrupted the gathering around the fire, a roar that seemed to be close by. All of you knew there were quite a lot of lions around and other predators, but no one had brought some form of protection, specifically a gun. Knowing there were lions close by, your friends worried about you sleeping outside instead of in a tent. Every night you slept outside, and when your friends protested, there was no changing your mind. Yes, predators were nearby, but you weren’t going to sleep in a tent, that would soon become a big mistake. All you had to sleep in was a sleeping bag and a cheap mosquito net. With some protection, or so you thought, you would put camping chairs around you before falling asleep.
After everyone had turned in for the night, you were fast asleep when Shenzi wonders into your campsite, looking for things that might have been thrown out after dinner when she stumbles upon you. Not realizing it was you, Shenzi goes in for the attack and next thing you know, you are waking up to Shenzi attacking you. Once you realize this was a hyena attack, your blood runs cold as you immediately begin to fight back, and you were good at it, too. You had no idea this was Shenzi, thinking it was one you didn’t know. You put up a fight as she was trying to drag you off into the same bushes where many others have met their end, and you were next. You were next, but you weren’t going to be next if you could help it. On instinct, you try to stand, but that was highly impossible as Shenzi was much stronger than you. You were crying out for help, and with Scar being nearby, he heard your cries and recognized it to be you and made his way over. Scar got there and was furious when he saw Shenzi attacking you, he is quick to intervene and that’s what had saved your life.
“Shenzi! (Y/n) isn’t your enemy! Let go of her and don’t come back!”
Shenzi is taken by surprise as she realizes it’s you and releases you right at the same time your friends rush from their tents to aid you, after being woken up from the commotion taking place.
As you felt the side of your face, you knew there will be stitches needed and you’re a long way from the nearest hospital. While Shenzi takes off with the other hyenas, Scar stays behind and makes sure that you’re getting taken care of by your friends and once you’re taken away, Scar takes off in the same direction of the hyenas, not expecting for you to show up again, but you do.
~~~
It’s not until a few months later that you show up, and when you do return, it was easy to find Scar and the hyenas.
After just one look at the result of your injury, Scar was furious once more. Not at you, never at you, but towards Shenzi. His fury towards Shenzi struck a drop of fear in you, as you didn’t want anything to happen to your old friend even though you are more cautious from now on around them. You told Scar even though the attack had struck some fear of hyenas through your veins, you reasoned with Scar, and although he was reluctant to, he agreed that no one would get hurt over this incident.
When you requested to see Shenzi, he hesitated but agreed to let you see and talk to her. You followed as he led the way. Scar stood next to you as if he was your guard once you got there, you kept distance and the moment Shenzi had come out to see you, she immediately begins to apologize to you for her mistake.
Scar stood by you the whole time.
“(Y/n), I’m sorry. I didn’t know that was you.” Shenzi apologizes.
“It’s okay, Shenzi. I just wanted to come and let you know that. I also want you to know that I don’t blame you at all and I would still like for us to be friends.”
Shenzi looked up at you with a smile and a nod in agreement.
~~~
“So, did that go as you pretty much planned it?” Scar says.
“Certainly did.”
As Scar accompanied you on your way out, he was surprised to learn of your point of view during the sudden attack.
He’d be lying if he had said he wasn’t impressed after telling him that you don’t blame Shenzi at all and even more so when you mention the fact it was your own doing for not listening to your friends to shelter yourself during the night, as you can never drop your guard on the Savannah. Upon saying all that and meaning it, Scar only respected you more, while wishing there were more like you in the world today who truly cared.
You explain the attack to your old friend in the best you could, in a way that might help him to understand it.
“Scar, I really didn’t feel a thing during the attack. At least, not at first because it all happened so fast I didn’t have time to process what it felt like. I didn’t feel anything until I went in to get treated for it.”
“What did that feel like than?”
“Well, I had to get stitches on the right side of my face, and because I couldn’t be put to sleep during the procedure, I was held down on the table by my friends while they did the job and that was very, very, very painful.”
As you continue to go on with the conversation, you don’t mention the most gruesome part of the attack, and that was temporarily losing your ear, literally.
That was the first to go when it started, but it was still in one piece by the time the ordeal had ended. The only thing you said or acknowledged anything about it was admitting to Scar your biggest fear was of losing your hearing and how that might bring you nothing but more loss. For example, what if you could no longer do what you loved doing most because of it?
But once it was saved and you healed, you go onto reassure him that your hearing had been restored and you were able to continue to what you loved, Scar found it amazing that despite of everything, it was truly amazing you still want to help care of and protect all animals as others would turn their backs.
Truly incredible.
Truly inspiring.
