Disney princess Danny
It’s known that animals can sense death. Instances where pets gravitate to someone on their death bed and dogs barking at ghosts. Danny already knew this from before he half died, so he was expecting animals to rat him out with their sixth sense or become aggressive or cower from him. Instead, they all behaved the complete opposite than he anticipated.
Stray cats come running to rub against his legs, dogs nearly pull arms out of their owners sockets to get close to him, birds bring him trinkets, raccoons lead him to trash cans full of food, and even squirrels and rats get close to just sit on his shoulders. It’s… weird, but not unwelcome. He always loved animals.
Danny had come to semi-trust the animals that come to him. They know where the good food is and drinking water, they know when to steer away from a certain area right before something happens, and they always know when a person is bad or okay. So when an animal leads him somewhere, he follows. Sometimes they need help and he’s the one they go to. He’s helped plenty of raccoons out of garbage bins and cats out of gutters to have a good relationship with the animals of the streets.
What he isn’t expecting is to be led to Robin again and again.
The first time it was a cat. A mangy old Tom cat that rubbed against his torn up jeans and looked back with - Danny swears- a raised eyebrow. Danny follows and soon enough he finds himself standing a few paces away from Robin who is kneeling down to give clean water to the momma cat and her three kittens.
Robin freezes and so does Danny. They stare at each other.
“Um, hi?”
Robin straightens immediately, leaving the water on the ground where the cats can drink. Tom cat swaggers over to guard them.
“Civilian. Is there something I can assist you with?”
The dude is probably a year or two younger than Danny himself and he has to suppress a smile at the formal tone.
“Oh, uh, no? The cat just led me here.”
He can see Robin glance at the Tom cat who was now licking himself.
“Is that so?”
“Yea. Sorry to interrupt. Animals just like me for some reason.”
The three kittens one by one all totter over to him on unsteady legs after they had their fill. The orange one starts trying to climb his pant leg with its short and sharp claws digging into the jean material.
“They really like me.”
He carefully sits down crossed legged so the others could also climb all over him. Robin watches for a moment silently and when he sees Danny react well to the little pricks from tiny claws, he seems it safe enough to return to patrol.
The second time it’s a couple of rats that lure him away to find Robin fighting off more thugs than he probably should by himself. So taking the rats’ movements as encouragement, he takes the closest thing, a piece of plywood, and hit the nearest guy over the head with it. The guy crumbles like a wet sock and Danny is moving on to the next thug.
They sweep the floor with these guys with only a few splinters and a twisted ankle.
“It was dangerous to intervene,” Robin tells him. “I had it handled.”
“Yea, I know.”
The vigilante didn’t seem to be expecting that response from his stunned silence. He straightens as much as he can with bruised ribs.
“Well, I’m glad you know your mistake. Don’t let it happen again.”
Danny neither agrees nor disagrees, just shrugs and allow the rats to climb up his leg to his shoulder. Robin looks at them curiously. Danny gives a salute before leaving. Robin gives him a nod.
The third time it happened the roles are reversed.
Some people from the local gang are bullying the lonely, homeless teen to run drugs for them. They don’t seem to understand the word ‘no’. It gets to the point where Danny finds himself with his back against the wall and all his exits blocked with a guy shoving him again and again.
“Stop it!”
“I’ll stop if you agree.”
“I’m not doing it!”
Frank the raccoon and his buddy Bobby launch themselves at the guy’s ankles. The guy shrieks and pulls a gun.
“No!”
Before Danny can dive for it, a projectile comes out of nowhere to knock it out of his hands. He can’t even process what happened before the three are running away, two raccoons chattering at their heels before coming back to crowd him in worry.
Danny looks up to see Robin with a sword out threateningly, staring at where the three fled. He sheaths the sword after a few seconds.
“Are you okay?”
Danny realizes he’s breathing a little heavy and slows down a bit as he leans over to pet the top of the two heads.
“I’m- yea, I’m okay. Thanks for the save. Those guys were jerks.”
“I’m inclined to agree.”
Robin is staring at the raccoons and it takes Danny a long moment to piece things together.
“Did- did they lead you to me?”
Robin doesn’t answer right away.
“You have loyal friends.”
Danny smiles at the weird compliment. Looking down at the two heroes of the evening Danny is also inclined to agree.
The fourth time is funny in a way Danny doesn’t know how to describe.
It was the pigeons. They were at fault of course for how Robin’s secret identity was outed. By pigeons.
The grey birds swarmed Danny and settled in a cloud of feathers. One holding something in its beak before plopping it down in his lap like a golden retriever. It flaps off as Danny picks up the obvious wallet clip holding quite a bit of cash and a student ID. The card says Damian Wayne from Gotham Academy. Just then Robin comes skidding around the corner, clearly out of breath and freezes.
Danny looks down at the clip in his hand and back up at the vigilante. He looks at the crazy amount of birds around him and again at the vigilante.
Said vigilante straightens and approaches like he called Danny there.
“If I could have that so I could return it to its proper owner.”
He holds out a hand with false arrogance, but Danny can see the nervousness in his stance. Danny looks down one last time before putting the clip in the outstretched hand without a word.
Robin nods once, pockets the ID and money, and immediately leaves.
The fifth time just cements what Danny had already figured out.
He was at the park. Not Ivy’s park of course, the one where people actually like to go. He was helping the squirrels find and hide acorns when he’s nearly knocked over by a massive black dog.
“Titus!”
The end of the Great Dane’s leash is a familiar face. Damian Wayne’s eyes widen in recognition as he finally sees who Titus was so excited to get to.
“Uh-“
Danny has to close his mouth quickly or else the massive tongue on his face would have turned into a French kiss.
“Titus! Heel!”
Danny laughs at the embarrassed blush on the other’s face, obviously not used to his companion going off the rails like this.
“It’s alright. We both know how animals like me.”
Damian narrows his eyes to analyze the teen. Danny wasn’t about to pretend and Damian looked like he was debating whether to follow his lead or not. There was literally no one within hearing distance.
“Have you told anyone?”
Danny thought about redirecting, but thought better of it. He actually liked Robin and what he did.
“Nope. I haven’t and I won’t. I swear.”
Damian tilts his head and then looks down at Titus. He seems to come to a decision before looking back at Danny.
“You’re homeless, are you not?”
Didn’t think they were being that direct but sure.
“Yea?”
“I will pay you in food and shelter to take care of my animals.”
Danny blinks. Then actually considers the offer.
“What kind of animals? How many we talking?”
Damian grins.
The family finds out pretty quickly when a teen they’ve never seen before walks into the Batcave with two pails of food for the bats, Titus at his heels and Alfred the cat perched contently on his shoulders.
Duke stares and Bruce short circuits.
“Um, who are you?”
“Hi! I’m Danny. Damian employed me to take care of the animals.”
“O…kay?”
“And where is Damian?” Bruce sounds like it physically hurts to ask and Danny does not envy Damian’s position right now.
“Upstairs. I think he said he was going to his art studio.”
Bruce marches past the boy to the stairs before stopping abruptly and turning to Danny and Duke.
“Don’t touch anything. Watch him.”
Duke and Danny blink at each other for a moment as Bruce disappears up the stairs.
“I’m Duke by the way.”
Danny grins.

Mating Call
Pairing: Siren!Doflamingo x Reader
NSFW
Summary: The song is beautiful. The man singing it is even more so. So you do not fight the call to climb the rocks and fall into his arms. You do not fight his warm embrace, his touch, his sweet cooing. This is where you’re meant to be, after all. Who are you to fight against the melody calling you home? Warnings: AFAB!Reader (no pronouns or gendered language used), Smut, Dubcon, Mind Control, Oral Sex (Reader receiving), Biting, Marking, Vaginal Sex Word Count: 2.7k Halloween Special 2024
The melody was the most beautiful thing you’d ever heard.
It was so soft at first you couldn’t understand why your heart had begun to sing, why your chest began to fill with warmth. You just knew you were at peace here, on this beach, sinking into the sand as the sun washed over you. It was only after you closed your eyes that you could finally hear the song clearly. There were no words, just the delicate warble of somebody else’s soul meeting yours. The harmony of it all compels you to move, to pull yourself out of the sand and start marching toward your destiny.
The voice shifts as you move, between pitches, genders, and emotions, before finally landing on a single one. A man’s voice, the mostly lovely baritone you’ve ever heard, calls to you. Not by name, but in spirit. Fate’s strings pull you forward, leaving footprints in the sand until you can feel the salty water of the sea up to your ankles. Your eyes open as the song grows louder, closer and closer, and you know that the man singing it will be ready to receive you.
Your hands find holds in the rocky wall in front of you, and you scale it with a precision you never knew you had. It’s as though someone else is moving your limbs for you, someone who knows the path like the back of their hand. You don’t slip once, not even when you reach sections wet from the sea, or those slick with something warm and red that you don’t pay any mind to. You’re almost there, and he’s ready and waiting for you.
The song reaches its peak right as your head peeks over the top of the ridge, and you can see him in his full glory: there is an angel waiting for you. His mouth is open wide, his eyes closed in concentration as he sings to you. He’s massive, nearly twice your height, covered in beautiful pink and white feathers that glisten in the light. They catch the sun, the rays dancing between them and almost making him sparkle. His torso disappears into a solid mass of feathers, which grow into legs far more similar to a bird’s than that of a human. Behind him are a massive pair of wings, the span of them large enough to blot out the sun if he so chose. As your feet finally rest at the top, he opens his eyes, which seem to pierce straight through you to your very core. At the same time, you see an image in your mind, so strong it nearly feels real: you, wrapped tightly in those feathers, shielded away from the world as he grants you all of the pleasure you could ever want. You can practically already feel him inside of you, feel his tongue inside of your mouth.
The song quiets as he finally speaks to you. “It could be a reality, little bird.” The moment he stops speaking, he immediately starts humming again, reaching his arms out to you invitingly. He gestures for you to approach, and once again your feet move before your mind does. Your hands reach for him, as though they were always meant to do so, and in an instant you’re surrounded by strong arms as his wings surround you both, blocking out the light and cradling you in their warmth. He smiles at you, the song fading, and you could swear his teeth were just a bit sharper than they were before. “Oh, you’re even lovelier up close.”
“Thank you,” you murmur shyly, suddenly aware of how very close the two of you are. He laughs with delight at the blush on your cheeks, holding you tighter and pressing your chests together.
“Oh, are you shy now? That won’t do.” He hums softly as he leans down and brushes his nose against your neck before nipping you, making you jump and inadvertently push yourself closer to him. Your arms move around his neck like they have a mind of their own. He nearly purrs when you do, so pleased with your acceptance. “There we go. That’s more like it, sweet thing.” He slides his fingers down your back, and you shiver as you realize they’re tipped with razor sharp claws, ones that could shred you in an instant if he wanted them to. You tense for just a moment, before he hums softly again, cooing in such a sweet tone that you can’t help but melt beneath his touch. Images of your union fill your mind again, of tender kisses and passionate embraces, of being laid down against these rocks and being taken again and again and again. He wouldn’t hurt you. He wants you. He needs you.
His head finally leaves your neck, and you get to see his eyes up close. They seem to pull back all of your layers, lay you bare beneath them. They call you forward, and before you realize it, your lips are against his. He makes a quiet noise of surprise, before you’re pulled up closer, your legs wrapping around his torso and his hands resting on your ass. The kiss begins as something almost tender, affectionate, before quickly gaining a heat that shoots straight to your core. His tongue meets yours, and he shifts to allow himself to hold you in only one arm, freeing the other to explore your body as it pleases. He reaches for your chest, letting out a soft noise of pleasure at the feeling of your softness beneath his fingers. He tries to brush against your nipples, before letting out a soft huff at the fabric in the way.
You’re so lost in it all, head fuzzy and warm, the sound of ripping threads doesn’t even startle you. Your bra and shirt are entirely shredded in an instant, falling off of you and drifting to the ground. When you shiver from the cold, his wings press in closer, trapping the heat from both of your bodies together, keeping you warm as his fingers knead at your breasts. His lips break away from yours so he can finally see them fully exposed, and he grins, all teeth. “Lovely little thing,” he murmurs, leaning down and taking one of your nipples into his mouth.
He sucks gently, and you can occasionally feel just a hint of his teeth, slightly too large in his mouth to keep fully away. Every part of him is so terribly sharp, made for ripping and tearing carrion, for breaking bones, for killing small and tender things like you. But he holds back those edges, ever present but never quite threatening. Even as he lavishes your chest with attention, turning rougher, leaving marks that will certainly last, you remain entirely relaxed in his arms, ready to accept anything he’ll give you.
“You’re doing so wonderfully.” He smiles against your skin. “Really, I might have to keep you.” He lets out another quiet trill, and you easily fall back, your weight only supported by his wings. With both his hands free, he easily frees you of your pants and panties, leaving you fully bare. His tongue traces along your torso, down to where you’re dripping and waiting for him. Instead of giving you what you so desperately crave, his attention moves to your thighs, the plush untouched skin just begging to be bitten and marked.
You whine when his teeth make contact. “Please.”
He chuckles. “Please, what?” You moan as his tongue swipes up your thigh, closer to your cunt, but still torturously far. “I’ll get there, little bird. Just be patient.” Despite his scolding words, he seems thrilled at your pleas, preening at every little sob and cry, clearly proud of reducing you to such a state. It is only after you’re near tears that he finally gives in, and he spreads your lips with his fingers, admiring how wet you are.
“Needy little thing.” He gives you a long swipe of his tongue, and you can’t help but throw your head back as you moan. “Delicious. So perfect.”
He clearly savors your taste, eyes briefly falling closed as he allows it to sink in. You let out a needy little sound despite yourself, and you can see the edge of his lip twitch slightly before he opens his eyes, staring into yours, and diving right in. His tongue laps at you, gathering your juices for him to enjoy. As your pleasure builds, overwhelming you, you desperately try to find something to ground yourself. You settle for his shoulders, the soft downy feathers there tickling your palms as you squeeze, holding onto him for dear life. After he hits a particularly sensitive spot, your nails dig into him and he groans. You let go, afraid you’ve hurt him, and he pulls back to bark at you, “No, no, no. Put them back.”
You place your hands on his shoulders again, gently, and he lets out a frustrated huff. “No. Harder. Leave your marks.” At his instruction, you dig your nails in harder than ever before, and you can feel his skin break beneath your fingertips. He moans. “Yes, perfect. And so obedient. I really will have to keep you.”
He goes back to lapping against you with a revived fervor, something new rising inside of him. You continue to dig into his skin, hard enough to bruise, and he lets out a soft groan as the pressure increases. It drives him wild, sends his tongue deeper than before, causes his claws to press into your hips, not breaking the skin but teasing the idea.
“Delicious. Worth missing a few meals for.” He pulls back to show his face is covered in your slick. He licks his lips, gathering more of it on his fingers just to pop them in his mouth. He hums, pleased with your taste, giving you a grin that’s all teeth. “You really were made for me, little bird. I wonder how you’ll enjoy being mine.”
You shiver at the idea. Of being wanted, needed, cherished. “I’m going to love it,” you mutter.
His smile grows wider. “Of course you will, sweet thing. I’m glad you realize that." He moves up, crashing his lips into yours, your own taste filling your mouth. “My pretty little mate, here waiting for me whenever I want you. What a wonderful thing.”
Your mind fills with images of you curled up in a nest, naked and waiting as he approaches. Your arms are always outstretched, welcoming him home, not minding the blood spattered on his beautiful feathers. You accept what he gives you, no matter what it is. A gift, his touch, his cock, you accept it all, pleased to receive anything from him. You spread your legs before he even asks, knowing what he wants, and you allow him to take you. The pleasure is beyond you imagination, every single time, every nerve in your body alight with every touch. The vision, combined with his current ministrations, brings tears to your eyes, as you nearly drown in your pleasure, both current and future.
He licks a tear off of your cheek, groaning as his aching cock ruts into your thigh. “Oh, you perfect little thing. So willing. So wanting. So ready to be had. Do you want me, sweet thing?”
“Yes!”
“Excellent. Then you’ll have me, again and again. Let’s make the first time count.” He slowly sinks into you, moaning in your ear of the feeling of your wetness around him. You wrap your arms around him, nails digging into his shoulder blades, arms tucked directly under the wings that curl around you both. The softness is contrasted by the sharpness of his claws against your hips, and the stiffness inside of you. His hips twitch as he struggles to hold himself back, but you don’t worry for a moment. He wouldn’t be rougher than you could handle, you know. His melodic moans sound in your ears, relaxing your muscles and mind.
He gives you a moment to adjust to his size, to the feeling of fullness, before he begins a harsh pace, hips slapping against yours, feathers brushing against you with every thrust. He places open mouthed kisses against your neck, gentle bites against your neck that grow harsher as he begins to lose himself. You don’t know if the warmth dripping down your front is your blood or his saliva. You don’t know if you care.
His thrusts grow quicker and quicker, sloppier and sloppier, furiously pounding into you. His breaths are ragged, frantic, as he chases his high. Your chests rub together, your nipples rubbing against both skin and feathers, the sensation overwhelming. You cry out as you come undone around him, clenching around his length, your body desperately trying to pull pleasure out of him with its own. He spills into you with a groan, warmth filling you as he wraps his arms around your waist, trapping you against him.
“Don’t waste a single drop, little bird.”
He waits for a few minutes, keeping you against him, cooing sweet nothings, before he finally decides he is done. He walks across the rocks, claws softly clicking against stone, before speaking again.
“You did wonderfully.”
You lay back, chest heaving, and he lets you go for the first time since you stepped foot onto the rocks. Your back is against something soft, which you think may be his nest. You feel his hands brush against you as he checks you over, ensuring not of his bites were too deep. He lets out a soft coo when he finds everything to his satisfaction. “Excellent, little bird.” You can hear him fussing with something before you feel something in your mouth, fishy and wet. You gag, and he pulls it out with a displeased hum. “Not right, hm? I’ll find something else.”
You hear his footsteps leave, off to find something else to feed you, and you shift onto your side. Your entire body is sore, and you can feel the cum leaking out onto your thighs, sticky and warm. When you stretch your legs, you feel your foot hit something, and the soft clatter of something hitting the ground. The sound is strange, unfamiliar, and when you open your eyes, you see it.
Bones.
You seem to have kicked the femur of some large animal. It knocked into a pile of smaller bones, some tiny and square and some longer and thinner. Something about them is sickeningly familiar. You try to push down the nausea, ignore the thought that if you peeled back your skin you would find something nearly identical beneath it. For a moment in your mind, you see your lover’s teeth and claws sinking into your skin for you, ripping you apart so very easily, coming to him far more naturally than tenderness ever could. Bile rises in your throat, and all of your muscles tense, ready to scream, to run, to throw yourself off of this cliff and into the waters below because you might survive and even if you didn’t it would surely be a kinder fate than this poor thing had.
“Darling?” Your head shoots up to see him again, hands filled with berries, nuts, and other various plants he seems to have gathered for you. His eyes drift to your feet, and you see understanding in them. “Ah. I see. I should have tidied up earlier.”
As he approaches, you prepare to launch yourself past him, to get as far as you can, but his smile is so gentle as he quietly begins to hum. The song grows louder, and you feel your muscles relax as he steps closer. His hand rests on your cheek, claws held carefully away. He lifts a berry to your mouth, and you open it with ease, allowing him to place it on your tongue. It’s sweet.
He tenderly brushes his hand over your head, continuing his song, pulling you into his chest. You curl into him easily. He hand feeds you every morsel he gathered, smiling all the while. “Everything’s alright, little bird. Nothing to fear. I plan on keeping you around for a very long time.”

Tulak ng Bibig, Kabig ng Dibdib
— the title means ‘The Mouth Pushes, but the Heart Embraces’ so don’t google translate it anymore (the translation was incorrect)
— The King of Curses meets a brave traveller on his way home. She is exactly like him; arrogant, mean, and cocky. After a bit of fights, can they ever get along?
— trueform!sukuna , power couple , heian era setting , enemies to lovers
part 1 , part 2
Ryomen Sukuna was the most feared in the land. He goes out to destroy villages for fun, as if just taking a walk outside. Sukuna has hundreds of servants under his control, on his beck and call. They, the servants, know that disobeying this monstrous being would lead to a gruesome death, so they hold on to his orders.
Today, Sukuna just got done lighting an entire village to flames with his Flame Arrow, saying it was just to “waste some excess cursed energy”. Of course, every supervillain has an assistant! For him, it was Uraume, his chef.
Sukuna was just going back to his mansion, two of his arms crossed, the other two on his sides. “Lord Sukuna, are you sure you just wasted your Flame Arrow on a small village?” Uraume asked, walking beside Sukuna.
“Yeah, it was just to waste excess cursed energy.” Sukuna said, eyes focusing on the mansion ahead. Until the marked beast heard something rustling. He turned his head, spotting a horse charging at them. “Huh?” Sukuna kept his gaze on the horse, also seeing someone riding it, until Uraume acted on it.
Uraume blocked the horse’s direction, cold hard ice almost hitting the poor animal. “Oi, careful, you could’ve killed my baby.” A woman said behind the ice, and Sukuna raised a brow. “Who’s that?” He asked, nudging his chef. “No clue, Lord Sukuna.”
“You’re damn lucky she’s alright,” The woman said, walking out from behind the ice, leaning against the cold barrier. “Damn, this is cold.” She instinctively squirmed away from it, fanning herself dramatically. She had a mask that prevented Sukuna and Uraume from seeing her.
“We don’t have time for you, human.” Sukuna narrows his eyes at you, nudging Uraume to ignore you to speed up the way back home. “Y’all aren’t gonna clear this up?” The woman asked, raising a brow.
“Tch, clean it up yourself, woman.” Sukuna growled, already walking away with Uraume. “I’ll come back for you again soon, Ryomen Sukuna.” She grinned.
Sukuna turned his head to glare at her, but she was already gone — with her horse. “What a weird human.” He mutters, getting a bit curious on who she was.
At the mansion, Sukuna told Uraume before entering, “That human pissed me off.” Uraume bit back a chuckle, a smile on their face. “Should we go back to a village?” Uraume asked, and Sukuna shook his head. “No, no.”
October 31, 2024
As Sukuna was outside, enjoying the fresh air, he again heard that rustling from his first meeting with the woman. Turning his head, he sees her again. “Tch, human.” He stands up, facing you. “Ryomen Sukuna, remember what I said? I’ll come back for you.” You grinned, the sly smirk on your face hidden by your mask.
“What do you want?” Sukuna asks, crossing two of his arms. “A fight,” You smiled, hands on your hips. “I would like to beat the King of Curses in a fight. Would give me a lot of honor.” You challenged, and Sukuna smirked.
“Heh, you think you can beat me?” He chuckles, leaning down to your level. “I actually do.” You said, not backing down.
“And here I thought Lord Sukuna was heartless,” Uraume said playfully, and Sukuna immediately turned to look at them. “What was that, Uraume?” — “Nothing, my lord.”

osctober day thirty one
prompt: halloween pairing: lando/oscar word count: 1200w
“Lando,” Oscar says, when he makes his way into the living room to drop his work bag next to the couch. “Why is my baby dressed as a pumpkin?”
Becca is in her little baby playpen banging a few blocks together, dressed in a felt pumpkin suit. There’s even a little hat with a stalk on top perched on her little blond curls. “Da,” she says, when she spots Oscar.
“Hi love,” Oscar says, picking her up and snuggling her closing, earning him another, more decisive “Da!”
“Oscar!” Lando says, appearing from the kitchen. “I can explain.”
Oscar raises an eyebrow, putting his daughter back down. “Can you?”
Lando bites at his lip. He has a spatula in hand, which means he’s attempting to cook dinner again, which means Oscar needs to make this as short as possible so he can make his way into the kitchen and salvage whatever is going on there.
“It’s Halloween?” Lando eventually settles on. “And like. I don’t. I’m not overstepping, or like, I don’t want to overstep, but I just thought. It’s her first you know. I think she should go out trick or treating.”
“She’s fourteen months,” Oscar states, but he’s mostly amused.
“Yeah? So? It’s Halloween, Oscar,” Lando says. Something in the kitchen beeps, and Lando quietly curses under his breath, making his way in there. Oscar throws one last look to Becca, who’s gone back to banging blocks together, and follows Lando into the kitchen.
“Maybe it’s time to revoke your babysitting privileges,” Oscar says, leaning against the doorway and watching Lando flit through the kitchen. There’s a pasta sauce bubbling away in a pot, next to one filled with pasta. It doesn’t seem disastrous yet, so Oscar’s happy to lean back and watch.
“Oh, please,” Lando says. “You would die without you convenient next door neighbor who works from home and loves your kid and is therefor willing to watch her whenever you need someone.”
Unfortunately, this is true. For reasons other than just the convenience, too. Like the way Lando smiles at him sometimes. Or the way Lando’s eyes sparkle in the sunlight. Embarrassing stuff like that.
“You really want to go trick or treating with her?” Oscar asks.
“We are going trick or treating with her,” Lando says, grinning at Oscar, clearly feeling like he’s won something here. “I have matching outfits.”
The matching outfits, thankfully, are just headbands with little pumpkins on bouncy springs. Oscar is pretty sure he looks ridiculous, especially next to Lando, who somehow makes the damned things look cute.
There really is no going back now, so after they finish their pasta, they put Becca’s coat on under her little pumpkin suit, don their stupid little headbands, and head to their first house.
Which is when things get kind of. Weird.
“Oh, your family is so cute,” The first lady says, as she deposits a few pieces of candy in the little bag Lando is holding. “Reminds me of my own daughter and her husband. Precious. Have a good night.”
“Uh,” Lando says, but she’s already closing the door.
Oscar adjusts Becca on his hip, mostly so he kind hide the blush on his face. “On to the next one?” He says quickly, mostly hoping that means Lando won’t bring it up.
“Yeah,” Lando says, still staring at the now closed door. “Yeah, next one.”
But at the next one, roughly the same thing happens. And the Next one. And the next one.
Oscar is coping with this wonderfully, mostly by pretending none of this is happening and no one is actually confusing them for some kind of cute young family rather than for what they are, which is two totally platonic neighbors who are friends who are trick or treating with one of the neighbors kids.
It’s going swimmingly, if he says so himself, even though is heart aches at the thought. Becca, entire unaware, babbles happily in his arms and tries to grab at the pumpkins on his headband.
Lando is quiet, too, doesn’t say anything, doesn’t correct anyone and that’s. Something, right? Nothing, for sure. But.
But.
Except then he does say something, when an young mom smiles at them and says, “Oh, what an adorable little family you have. My kid is her age, too. It’s the best, isn’t it?”
“We aren’t-“ Lando blurts, a little too loud, making Becca startle a little as she looks at him with wide eyes. “A family. I’m just. We’re not. Together. That’s his kid. She’s not. She’s not mine.”
Oscar doubts that. Becca thinks the sun shines out of Lando’s ass on most days. She’s just as much Lando’s as she is Oscar’s, but that’s. That’s dangerous territory, he thinks.
“Oh,” the woman says, a little taken aback. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay,” Lando says, smiles tiredly. It must’ve been bothering him more than Oscar thought. Oscar tries not to be too hurt about that. “Have a good night,” he says, and stalks off the porch.
“You too?” The lady says, but Lando’s already gone. Oscar smiles awkwardly at her, and then follows Lando as quickly as he can with Becca in his arms.
“Hey,” he says, when he catches up.
“Hey,” Lando says, not looking at him, setting a pretty brutal pace. “Let’s go back to the apartments, yeah?”
“Okay,” Oscar says, noting how he says apartments, plural. Nothing how he doesn’t say home.
They walk in silence, for a bit, Becca dozing off on Oscar’s shoulder, before Lanod finally speaks again.
“I’m sorry,” he says.
“For what,” Oscar says, confused. He doesn’t think Lando has anything to apologize for. If he’s uncomfortable being linked to Oscar as a husband, that’s. I mean. He’s allowed to feel those feelings, even if they hurt.
“I just. I’ve been inserting myself in Becca’s life, in your life, and this should have been a cute little milestone, her first Halloween, and instead you spend the whole time listening to people thinking we’re like, what. Together?” Lando is still not looking at him, aggressively biting at his lip.
Oscar takes a moment, unpacks everything Lando’s just said, tries to think of the right thing to say. Eventually he settles on. “We wouldn’t have had Becca’s first Halloween if not for you.”
When Lando finally turns to look at him, if only to send him a confused look, Oscar continues. “You got her the outfit. You got the headbands. I was just going to spend the night inside giving candy away to kids, but you made it special. So you’re not inserting yourself. If anything, I think you’re making her life much, much better.” And then, because he feels like it’s important Lando knows, even though it will probably not lead anywhere, “Also I don’t mind. When people think we’re together.”
“Oh,” Lando says. “You don’t? I mean. I don’t, either.” They’ve stopped, in the middle of the walkway, staring at each other over Becca’s head.
“Good? That’s. That’s good,” Oscar says, a little unsure all of a sudden. If this means what he thinks it means…
“Oh fudge it,” Lando says, and leans forward, softly presses his lips to Oscar’s. It’s a little awkward, with Becca still snoozing happily between them, but it’s the most perfect kiss Oscar’s ever gotten. When Lando pulls away, he’s smiling, a smile Oscar is sure is mirrored on his own face. “Let’s go home, yeah?” He says.
“Home,” Lando says, nods. Shakes his head like he can’t quite believe it.
They can’t hold hands, because Oscar’s are still occupied, but Lando’s hand finds a place at the small of his back, and that’s just as magical, Oscar thinks, as they slowly start making their way home.

I'm gonna upload this to ao3 later but I wanted to post this now before its too late! @eydilily happy birthday I wrote some Tangtho based on the art you posted. Warning for smoking and Redstone being treated like an addictive substance.
Redstone buzzed. It was important to know that. Redstone buzzed and when you were surrounded by it for hours on end, it seemed like your head never stopped buzzing. Like somehow the buzzing could form words that would cure all your woes with your latest project. Like they whispered exactly what you needed to do to get the right torch to turn on. Tango was constantly surrounded by redstone.
Sure, it was healthy necessarily, but the server was encompassed by people who didn’t know when to quit working on their projects. Tango wasn’t even the worst of it – Decked Out 2 notwithstanding. But, to be fair, Tango’s new big project was all redstone.
Minecart rails didn’t buzz in the same way! They didn’t buzz at all – which is what Tango told himself when he was down in the bowels of his binary system. Decked Out 2 was loud; this was quiet. This was peaceful, even. Sure, he was still troubleshooting and running into problems every five minutes but it wasn’t like he was down there for days on end. Staring at an observer line as it blinked but didn’t go off correctly for the thousandth time.
Color him shocked when he noticed the fire on his head died down to embers and his back ached in a familiar way. Okay. Okay maybe he needed to move, get some fresh air. See his neighbors. Maybe he had mail!
No mail was to be found but that was fine. It gave him an excuse to stretch his legs beyond the confines of his factory. A quick look at his communicator told him Etho was online and who better to go see – easily within walking distance, a redstone buddy he could complain to. It was the perfect solution. His tail flicked side to side as he thought about just what to say to his good friend. Fire reignited on his head and he even found himself almost buzzing. Just like redstone.
Etho was just…nice to talk to. Different from Impulse or Zed when he wanted to troubleshoot, different from Skizz to hang out with. Something quiet, contemplative. Calm in a way Tango could never hope to be. He liked that about Etho.
His tail sparked as it flicked around when he saw his neighbor outside, working on his landscaping. Perfect! Tango was worried he might be buried in Frogger or something and he’d have to be the one doing the redstone retrievafication. Retrievifying. Whatever. He waved his own clawed hand at himself.
Etho was absorbed in his landscaping, but there was a way to his movements where it was clear he knew someone was watching. Every move of his hands was deliberate, and when he stood up from the dirt, he half turned to smile at Tango.
“That was you! How’s it going buddy?”
Tango grinned. The two of them met somewhere in the middle of Etho’s front yard and exchanged a hug, where Etho visibly scrunched his face under his mask. “You smell like redstone.”
“You act like that’s a bad scent! Ead de Perfume de Tango or however it’s said. If I don’t smell like redstone, that’s when we have a problem.” His sharp teeth glinted in his grin as Etho rolled his eyes and waved Tango inside.
“So, I’m where you decided to take your break?” Etho held the door open for Tango, dodging his sparking tail as he walked past. Tango’s fire didn’t really hurt; it was warm, it produced heat, but it was more like extra voluminous hair. Made of fire. Still, the instinct to didge fire still hadn’t really left the hermits senses.
Etho had his own reasons to be nervous around fire.
“Who better to hang out with than my good buddy good neighbor Etho, huh?” Tango propped himself up on a block, crouched over so he was eye level with Etho and leaning his chin on his hands for balance. “Your house is coming together now that you finished Frogger. Could you imagine if I built a little home after Decked Out?”
Tango laughed a little and Etho’s eyes held a fondness. “You lived in Decked Out – and besides, Frogger is not nearly the same size of a game.” He smacked Tango on the shoulder and laughed as he knocked tango off his feet and spilling onto the floor in a heap of Blazeborn glory. He still offered Tango a hand, pulling him up with enough force he pulled Tango right to his chest. Tango’s hair ignited into an inferno. Etho made a sputtering noise, mouth full of his firehair.
“Sorry.” Tango skittered back, looking anywhere but Etho’s face. He could hear the little, too knowing chuckle pass Etho’s lips and that made him pout, cross his arms. Stomp his foot even a little.
“You are adorable when you pout,” Etho said. He didn’t let it hang in the air for long, walking past Tango towards his back door. “So are you here to troubleshoot the factory or just hang out?”
There was one long glance cast over his shoulder that had Tango scurrying after him in the wake of it, hair dying down back to its normal warm blaze but slowly. Ever since Decked Out 2, but probably before if Tango thought about it too hard, Etho’s voice made him blush. Maybe it was the first Decked Out that did him in. Maybe he’d always been done in.
“Hang out, I suppose. You’ve got a nice little garden, everyone is telling me I need to touch grass. Seems like a win win.” Tango followed Etho without really watching where Etho led them, but soon enough he was greeted to the sounds of the outdoors and the sights of Etho’s landscaping.
It was peaceful in a way a steampunk factory was not and Tango almost felt bad for dotting Etho’s neighborhood with it. Almost. He stretched, feeling his shoulders creak and then pop. Etho leaned on his fence, almost like taking a seat on it but not quite, gaze up towards the roof.
“I need to be able to see the clouds from here, I think. Roof is too solid.,” He said, turning to look at Tango. “Wouldn’t it be nice. Smell the dirt, see the clouds. Get some sun. I feel like everyone is always complaining we both need to do that.”
Tango hung on to Etho’s every word, nodding his head and leaning on his head. “At least you get a nice, unobstructed view of this lake you built,” he said. Etho agreed.
There was a silence, nature playing out its own theater for the two of them to enjoy in each other’s company. Tango spent plenty of time with the hermits this season – at least he felt like he did. People were constantly coming by the factory, he was playing Frogger occasionally. He raided bastions with Skizz and Impulse. He teased Scar. But for the first time he realized he’d missed the company that Decked Out 2 had. Getting a kiss on the forehead for good luck. Sitting in the lobby holding someone’s hand. Everyone sleeping piled together so they could get right back to it in the morning.
Tango’s ears flicked, slightly, and he opened his mouth to say something. What that something might be he wasn’t sure. Every season it was like the hermits had to work their way back up to admitting they missed each other, to sharing kisses and beds again. It felt like they’d only just gotten there in season 9 and now Tango was some kid to scared to admit he had a crush again. He closed his mouth. He opened it again, trying to work around it, when Etho cleared his throat.
He didn’t actually say anything, but the noise threw Tango off as he dug around in his pockets. Tango’s attention was transfixed when he produced two redstone torches and fidgeted with them for a moment. “Do you want one?”
Tango reached over and plucked one from his hand. They were...it was hard to explain. Redstone buzzed, yes, but it could also vaporize. Being surrounded by powered redstone meant you were breathing in time bits of vaporized redstone. Sure it wasn’t good for you, but it was another danger of being a redstoner.
What didn’t help is they often sought it out on their own.
Tango placed the torch in his mouth. It needed to be close to your face if there was only one, something that was just there to dull the itch to get back a redstone project. Etho held his own in his mouth, hand cupped around his face to hide it from view. Like he was embarrassed by it.
Tango felt that need for closeness again and stood up, going to be beside Etho. There was a gentle, bubbling water sound from the lake just before. The rustle of wind. Etho’s...beautiful and scarred face. Without a word, Tango found himself reaching out to cup Etho’s face in his own hand instead.
There was maybe more of a mischievous grin as he pressed the two redstone torches together. Redstone flew off in little sparks, a small cloud of faint red they really only saw because they knew what to look for. Etho chuckled.
There was a moment longer before Tango stood back a bit and, holding the torch in his teeth managed a ‘thank you’ that was...probably coherent. It made Etho chuckle again, a delightful sound that warmed Tango’s whole chest. He took the torch into his hand and Tango’s knuckles to his lips and pressed a kiss there.
Redstone buzzed. So did the feeling of companionship.

Omg hi! Your writing for Nanami is so cute!
I'm super focused on Pokémon, so my request is kind of Pokémon-inspired 😭😅
Okay, so there's this Pokémon called Froslass who freezes whatever she likes, in short. I had an idea of Nanami with a curse in love with him who wants to freeze him but knows she can't, so she starts keeping him company and giving him frozen gifts, like flowers - and freezing his enemies
Of course, only if you are comfortable with the request and I'm so sorry if it's too specific :'D
— Meli
Froslass:
Hello, thank you and I’m so glad you enjoy my work!
I LOVE your creativity and I had so much fun writing this fic because of you. I hope you like it <3
(P.S. your requests are never too specific for me so don’t worry about it)
(P.P.S. I apologize in advance if it’s not as good as you expected it to be 🥲)
-•-
You didn’t know how you came to exist or where you came from. All you knew was that your existence was not wanted. But why? You were harmless. All you wished for was to be human. In the beginning, you thought it was possible with your human-like appearance. The only thing that made you different was that you were a curse with a body temperature that fell deep into the minuses. You tried falling in love before and you even managed to go on a date with a human man! However, before you could finally understand what kissing felt like you had frozen him on the spot.
His now permafrost encased body was stationary. Even if he managed to melt, he’d be dead by the time he’d be free.
It was a lonely life. All you wanted was to be loved. It didn’t help that sorcerers wouldn’t take any chances on letting you live and tried to track you down whenever they could. Which is why you lived a life of loneliness. Trying to stay in the public eye as much as possible so you wouldn’t be exorcised. But if only that were easy because you see, you were deeply in love with one particular sorcerer- Nanami Kento.
And for some strange reason, even though he knew you were a curse, he never tried to be exorcise you. You were grateful that at least someone knew that you were harmless. You always tried to accompany him whenever you saw him fight curses. And he’d always tell you that you were meddling in something dangerous but you couldn’t help yourself. The man you loved so very much was being hurt and you couldn’t handle seeing that. The two of you would constantly butt heads over the fact that you’d freeze his enemies before he could kill them with his blade.
When Nanami wasn’t fighting, he’d be walking around Jujutsu Tech. You knew trying meet him there was a risk but it was one worth taking. So when you knew no one but him was on campus, you made your move.
You quickly exhaled your icy breath over some roses and ran to him as fast as you could. And almost as if he had eyes on the back of his head, he quickly turned around, holding his weapon in front of you. “Nanami, come on, it’s me.” You pouted. “I brought flowers!”
The blond looked at the blocks of ice in your hand. It was impossible for him to hold them. “You know I can’t help it. My love language is gift giving since I can’t freeze you.”
“And you know I can’t hold them.” He curtly replied. You sulked. All you wanted was for this man to like you the way you liked him but he was too righteous for it. “That’s fair, I was thinking we could-“ you’re abruptly cut off when Nanami shushes you.
His eyes turn away from you and zero in on something behind you instead. “There’s a strange curse that can’t hear or listen. I believe it wants to attack you.” He slowly pushed you behind him, unfazed that he made skin-to-skin contact with your frigid shoulder. You soon saw what he was looking at and he was right. Right there, seated on the courtyard wall, was a giant humanoid looking creature with a disfigured face. It looked powerful enough to consume you.
“Nanami, I’m perfectly capable of protecting myself.” You didn’t want him to think that you were weak.
“Please, do not get in the way of my work. I believe this curse could be fatal to the both of us if we deal with it the wrong way. I don’t think it has sensed that we know about its presence so I can still kill it.” Your heart fluttered at the thought of a sorcerer protecting you from a more dangerous curse. And that too it wasn’t just any sorcerer, it was Nanami Kento.
The curse soon hopped off the courtyard wall and slowly stalked towards you and Nanami, possibly trying to scout the area and sense of anyone is nearby. “You will run when I count to three.” Your heart began to race as the curse started walking faster to the center of the courtyard, where you and Nanami were. “But what about you?” You were worried about him. You weren’t sure if you could forgive yourself if something happened to him.
“I’ll be fine.” He said as he wrapped his tie around his blade. “Now, one…” he braced himself as the curse was only a few steps away. “Two.” The curse was now face to face with Nanami. “Three,” he whispered. You ran as fast as you could and Nanami struck the curse with his blade. You had to find a way to freeze the curse before it could sense the vibration of your movement.
“Nanami, go for its legs!” You yelled. He ducked to dodge the curse’s hits but couldn’t manage to slice its feet off. Almost as if on cue, his students had arrived and were shocked to see a curse on campus of all places. It was a good thing that you hid behind the courtyard wall again.
“Mr. Nanami, do you need help?” A girl with bobbed hair yelled from across the courtyard. Nanami’s dodged a punch from the curse and you swore your heart almost dropped. “As a matter of fact, yes. Aim for its legs!” Nanami yelled as he ran across the courtyard in attempt to distract the curse. The girl and her friends wasted no time in helping their teacher fight the curse.
One of his students sent demon dogs into the fight while the others ran trying to create as much vibrations as possible on the ground by running. The dogs were successful in biting the curse’s legs, giving Nanami enough time to slash it with his classic 7:3 ratio.
Everyone let out a breath of relief. You were glad to see him safe but you knew you had to leave before anyone could spot you.
After all the students left the courtyard, Nanami looked around, hoping to see you (much to his surprise). You weren’t bad company in his lonely life and he was sometimes glad to have you around.
He walked around the courtyard but there still was no sign of you. His shoulders slumped in defeat as he walked to his car. He knew that looking forward to another fight was wrong but his reasoning told him that there could be a good chance you’d be there to help him.
With his head muddled in thoughts about you, he was too busy to notice a block of ice right in front of his door. He leaned down and smiled to himself as he realized that it contained the roses you tried to give him earlier.

Until My Last Breath
Summary: Bucky has always told you he'll love you until his last breath and, through it all, you loved him just as much.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Warnings: Angst. So much angst. Language probably. No use of Y/N. Mentions of death. Mentions of violence.
Word Count: 1.8K
A/N: I've been so busy working all summer, then my computer broke and I had to replace it and then when I finally did I had major writer's block. Then, out of nowhere, I got this idea and wrote it in like two hours... Thank you fanfic Gods, and also I'm so sorry for maybe the saddest fic I've ever written.

1941
“Please don’t go…” You whispered, holding onto his army uniform like a lifeline. Bucky sighed. He didn’t want to go. But he had to, he was about to ship off to London with no idea as to when he’d be coming back. Coming back to his mother, to his sister… Back to you.
“You know I have to, doll…” He whispered back, his face buried in her hair while he inhaled her scent, trying to commit it to memory as if he hadn’t done the exact same thing thousands of times now throughout his life. “But I’ll come back to you… I promise.” You both knew that was something he couldn’t promise, but it didn’t stop either of you from clinging to that promise. He’d find a way back to you, even if he had to walk backwards through hell to do it.
“I’ll wait for you…” You promised him in return, and you both knew you meant it. He was it for you, it was him or nobody and if he was to never come back, you’d die alone before marrying someone else.
“I love you, doll… And I’ll love you until my last breath.” With one last kiss to your forehead, he’s gone and all you can feel is the coldness from the absence of his body against yours.
1943
“Hey!” Bucky called the attention of all the soldiers around Steve, Peggy and himself. “Let’s hear it for Captain America!”
Amongst all the clapping and cheering, a sharp voice could be heard. A call of his name that made Bucky’s heart beat faster. Before he could even turn around properly towards the sound of your voice, you were throwing your arms around his neck and hugging him tightly.
He almost thought he was dreaming, holding onto you like you could disappear at any second while glancing at Steve, who had the goofiest smile because he knew what was coming next.
“Don’t you ever scare me like that again!” You smacked his chest after pulling away, but Bucky could barely feel it or even hear the words coming out of your mouth.
All he could see was you, your beautiful face, your eyes full of tears, your lips moving but the sound not reaching his ears.
He stopped your scolding by gently holding your face, a soft smile on his face.
“I did promise I’d come back for you, didn’t I?” He said quietly and you couldn’t help but soften and lean into his touch.
“I’m so glad you’re okay…” You whispered back and hugged him again. “I love you, you dumbass.” He chuckled at your playful insult. “And I’ll love you until my last breath.” You added and he melted against you, holding you like he had no intention of ever letting go.
1944
You couldn’t believe it when Steve gave you the news. You didn’t want to believe it, tears in his eyes before he could even get the words out and promptly caught you when your legs gave out, not a coherent word coming out of your mouth, only desperate sobs.
He waited until you calmed down enough to breathe normally again before he told you Bucky’s last words before he fell, wanting you to know his very last thought was of you.
“He said to tell you he’ll love you even after his last breath.”
1954
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Peggy asked quietly for what felt like the hundredth time.
It had been 10 years. 10 years since you’ve lost Bucky, 10 years since you lost Steve and 10 years since you joined Peggy, Howard and Colonel Phillips to help them found SHIELD.
And you couldn’t spend one more day like this.
“I told you, Peggy, I… I know he’s alive.” You said stubbornly while resting your hand on the glass of the cryochamber you were about to enter. “He’s out there somewhere and, when he comes back, I’ll be right there with him.”
Peggy sighed. She knew by this point it was useless to argue, having tried countless times ever since Howard revealed his cryofreezing invention to you both and you volunteered to be the first one to reside in one.
You had fought more times than you cared to remember because Peggy insisted that your inability to accept Bucky and Steve are gone and move on was just not healthy.
Deep down a part of you knew she was right, but you didn’t care. You could just feel it deep inside of you, that they weren’t gone, not for good. And you intended to be there when they came back, no matter how long that took, because you certainly couldn’t live a life without them.
Howard helped you carefully lay down on the chamber and gave you one last smile, Peggy squeezed your hand and, almost as fast as falling asleep, you were unconscious, your last thought of Bucky’s face and his voice saying those seven words as you mutter them to yourself,
“I’ll love you until my last breath.”
2016
After the fall of SHIELD and Natasha released all their and Hydra’s files on the internet, she found an old file about a secret project that only had Peggy Carter and Howard Stark’s name on it... And, weirdly, Steve’s.
It took a couple of years of digging to find it, and to find him, but finally the team managed to find Bucky’s apartment in Bucharest and this time Steve had a very convincing argument to make Bucky go with him.
He ran behind Steve, both of them sprinting through the hallways of the Avengers Compound to get to Bruce’s lab.
They arrived just as Tony and Bruce managed to get the chamber open safely while Dr. Cho stood by just in case anything went wrong.
Your eyes fluttered open like you were merely waking up after a restful night of sleep and you looked around at all the strange faces, until your eyes settled on a pair of blue eyes and blonde hair.
Steve’s eyes were full of tears like you remember them when he told you Bucky died, but his expression was anything but painful.
But before you can even start processing that, Bucky came into view. His face was shocked, his legs almost working on their own as he walked closer to you like his body’s being pulled towards you by some magnetic pull.
As soon as he was close enough, he cupped your face gently like he was trying to make sure you were real and he wasn’t imagining you, he wasn’t dreaming this.
You leaned into his touch on instinct alone and you reached out to wipe the tears streaming down his face. In that exact moment, with the feeling of your skin against his, he knew it was real. He had you back.
He pulled you into a tight hug that you returned, the both of you staying there like that for what felt like hours before Steve had to pry Bucky away so Dr. Cho could check you over, Bucky never leaving your side or even letting go of your hand.
It was a very emotional day for all three of you which ended with Steve retiring to his bedroom with a kiss on your forehead before you and Bucky went to one of the guest rooms to sleep.
Neither of you could, or wanted, to keep your hands off each other as you cuddled close in bed between soft touches and sweet words.
“I knew you’d come back to me…” You whispered while nuzzling your face in his chest.
“I’ll always come back to you…” He whispered back. “I love you… And I’ll love you until my last breath.” He added just as he felt you starting to fall asleep.
2018
Even as the both of you tried to get accustomed to the 21st Century, Bucky didn’t see any reason to wait any longer since he’d been eager to ask you this question for the last 80 years, and it didn’t even came as a surprise to you when he got down on one knee on the roof of the Compound after possibly the most romantic date you’ve ever had.
“I’ve loved you since the moment I met you… You got me through war, you got me through Hydra, you get me through every day of my life… And I know now, more than ever, that I’ll love you until my last breath. Will you marry me?”
Needless to say, you jumped on him while squealing out a yes and peppered kisses all over his face before he kissed you senseless.
You got married less than a month later right in the yard of the Compound, surrounded by the entire team that quickly became like your family, Steve obviously was both the best man and also gave you away.
It was the happiest day of both your and Bucky’s, both of you promising to love each other until your last breaths.
2024
Those are all the moments that flash in front of your eyes. It was supposed to be a simple mission, in and out. Nothing you haven’t done hundreds of times in the last eight years.
But an unexpected enemy came at Bucky and, without even thinking about it, you jumped in front of him. He didn’t even notice until he heard the sound that came out of your mouth as you fell to your knees.
Everything became blurry after that and, by the time Steve arrives at the location you and Bucky are in, every enemy is dead and Bucky is drenched in blood, none of it his own.
He’s holding you close to his chest, chanting ”Please don’t go, please don’t go” like a prayer as tears stream down his face.
You can’t see anything other than him, your eyes locked on him as he desperately tries to keep pressure on the bullet wounds but blood is pouring out of you faster than can register.
You stop his frantic movements by cupping his cheek weakly, a single tear falling down the side of your face as you struggle to get words out.
There’s so much you want to say to him, how you wish you’d have more time, how he shouldn’t blame himself, how you want him to move on and try to be happy, how scared you are right now to leave him but you can feel there’s nothing more you can do. This is it. But you only manage to say three word,
“I love you.”
His blue eyes are the last thing you see before you sleep into nothingness and you feel a peacefulness you didn’t think was possible this close to the end. But you can’t help it because you know, despite it all, you did love him until your last breath.

Sweet Thing Pt. 2
So sorry about how long this took for me to upload! I had a friends wedding to attend and then work has me burnt out! But here it is!
A few days had passed since meeting Paul, Dwayne, David, and Marko. And I hate to say it, but they have been on my mind nonstop. There was something about them that piqued my interest, however I wasn’t sure what. Deciding enough was enough, I came up with the brilliant plan to talk to them once again, after my shift at the store. Was this a good idea? Probably not, especially after Sandra’s warning. But I wanted to make judgments for myself, it was unfair to make assumptions about the boys when I just met them.
Finishing getting ready I head out the door to work. Work was slow, the occasional customer coming in purely to look around before leaving. Luckily today’s shift passed by fairly quickly, and before I knew it, I was locking the door and off in search of four guys.
The boardwalk seemed to be even busier tonight, but that was probably due to a concert going on down by the beach. Deciding to scope out the crowd down there I followed the sound of music and cheering. As I got closer it became more congested with groups of people drunk and lively. Several times people bumped into me, not paying attention to their surroundings. I was given a particular hard shove and almost fell over, had it not been for someone catching me.
“Woah there sugar, we met once and already you’re falling for me?” Looking up I’m face to face with Paul. He gives me a crooked smile, a joint tucked behind his ear as he helps steady me. His hands stay on my shoulders even after I catch my footing. He was quite the flirt.
“Oh hey, I was looking for you guys.” I say without thinking, “I mean-I wasn’t. Shit.” I curse rubbing my face with my hand, cheeks flushed and hot from embarrassment.
Paul’s grin widens and he wraps his arm around my shoulders, “Aw sweets, you’re gonna make me swoon if you keep talking like that. Say, why are you looking for us?” He asks with genuine interest.
Looking anywhere but at him I huff, “Well, I just wanted to get to know you guys better.” Yeah, this was not going well. “I mean, I don’t know. My coworker said I should avoid you guys but I felt it was…unfair to make such judgments without getting to know you guys first.” I desperately wished I could dig a hole and bury myself alive right now.
It was almost like Paul could read my mind as he let out a loud laugh. “Well, I appreciate the honesty sugar. Come on, I’ll take you to the rest of the boys.” He steered me through the crowd, blocking other’s bodies from hitting me which I was quite grateful for as it was even more crowded up by the stage. He has us take a right over towards the pier, where a majority of the crowd dissipates. And then I’m able to see David, Dwayne, and Marko sitting on their bikes. Marko is the first to see us, and his eyes light up as he sees Paul. His eyes drift over to me, and I can see his eyebrows raise slightly.
Slipping away from my side I watch as Paul bounces over to Marko, leaning his forehead to bump Marko’s in a way that I could only describe as affectionate. “Look who I found out there.” Paul announces, and Dwayne and David’s eyes meet mine. Dwayne gives me a warm smile, one I can reciprocate weakly as David just gives me a smirk.
“And what are you doing here?” David asks, a puff of smoke escaping his lips as he speaks.
God please don’t let me embarrass myself again.
All four of them laughed at something, and I was hoping it wasn’t me. I could feel my cheeks heat up once again. “Go on sweets, tell them what you told me.” Paul pushes and I groan not knowing how to phrase my sentence better.
“I was just…kinda wanting to get to know you guys better…if you didn’t mind. My coworker said I should steer clear of you guys but I just…I don’t know I want to make my own judgements and decisions.” I say squeezing my hands together. Surely I must look like an absolute fool right now. They’re gonna laugh at me, before sending me away like the clown I am.
Again they all laugh and I try to brace myself for their words. “Well…isn’t that something.” David says throwing the cigarette butt on the ground. “I must say, I’m quite flattered you seeked us out. Not many people like us, but I assume you already knew that.” It’s hard to maintain eye contact with him for long. Shuffling in place I look anywhere but at him. “Say, have you ever been to Hudson's bluff?” He asks.
I shake my head, “No. Haven’t heard of it til now. Is it close by?” puzzled by his words, I’m not sure what he’s getting at.
He smirks, leaning forward on his bike. “Sure, it’s close enough. Want to come check it out?” They’re all grinning at me now, that same dangerous look beneath their eyes. I should say no. I should turn around and leave. But something in my gut tells me to trust them, that I can trust them. And maybe I’m going insane, but my curiosity peaked.
“Sure.” I say, looking between them all I asked, “Who am I riding with? I’ve never been on a bike before.”
“You can ride with Dwayne. He’s the…safer driver out of all of us. Or if you want, you can ride with me. I’ll keep you safe,” He says, holding out his hand. Again, if I was in my right mind I would turn away. I would never talk to these guys again. I should leave, go back home and continue my mundane little life. But there was this pull to these four that I couldn’t describe. I needed to know what it was. If my parents knew what I was doing, I’m sure they’d be rolling over dead any second.
Placing my hand in David’s, my voice is slightly shaky, “Just don’t kill me. I do enjoy being alive.” Paul and Marko holler at that, Dwayne giving a small chuckle.
“Don’t worry, I keep my promises. You’ll be safe with me. Now hop on and hold tight.” He scooches forward so there’s more room for me. Swinging my leg over I adjust myself before wrapping my arms around his waist. He revs the engine several times and then we’re speeding down the beach, the others following closely behind.
Dear god, what have I gotten myself into?

“Focus!” (j.jh)
015. contract? warnings: swearing, kind of short (srry in advance, studying gives me writers block)
Friday was dragging on, and for Y/n, every second felt like torture. She walked through the hallways of the building with Ten, venting her frustrations. ''Seriously, I run into him everywhere'' said Y/n, tossing him a knowing look.
''You’ve gotta stop giving it so much importance. How many times have I told you that? You still haven’t learned, have you?''
''Yeah, yeah, I know...'' Y/n groaned. ''But every time he walks past me, he huffs like I'm bothering him just by existing. And, I swear, it makes me wanna spin his head like in The Exorcist.'' She said it so deadpan that Ten burst out laughing.
''Sorry! It’s just... you said it with such a straight face, I couldn’t help it.''
''Alright, enough'' she muttered, rolling her eyes ''I just don’t get why he’s wandering around the building all the time. The only thing he needs to do is show up for the photos and leave. That’s literally it.''
They kept walking until they reached their office. Y/n stopped and turned to Ten. ''Oh, and remember, Ash is coming in...'' she checked her watch. ''In about two hours. We need everything set up by then so we can go over the plan, mkay?''
''Yes, ma’am.'' Ten straightened up with an exaggerated salute, making her snicker. She reached for the doorknob, but the door wouldn’t budge.
''Ugh, this fucking lock! I swear it’s out to get me'' she grumbled, twisting and pulling the handle to no avail ''No... not again.''
After a bit of struggling, the door finally clicked open.
''Okay, seriously, I need to get this shit fixed...'' she muttered with a half-smile. But before she could say anything else, a familiar voice cut through the moment.
''Yeah, you should fix it. Don’t you think?'' Y/n froze on the spot. Standing right in front of her was Jaehyun, calm as ever. He looked at her briefly, then added, almost casually: ''And, by the way... in case you didn’t know, Im kinda sealing a deal with your brother, that's why im roaming aroung as you say.''
Without waiting for a response, Jaehyun turned and walked off, leaving Y/n and Ten standing there, too stunned to speak. After a beat, Ten turned to her ''Girl... we’re so fucked.''
Ten opened the door and found Y/n looking at him with eager anticipation. She hurried inside.
''Come on, spill the tea!'' Y/n said, grabbing Ten by the shoulders and lowering her voice since there were staff members wandering around.
''I overheard Ash and Jaehyun talking'' he paused, and Y/n raised an eyebrow ''Ash was laughing about something Jaehyun said, and it was loud enough that I thought everyone in the building would hear'' Ten continued, waving to a passing staff member.
''And then what?'' Y/n asked, clearly interested.
''Then Jaehyun hugged her, like, by the shoulders and whispered something in her ear, but I couldn’t catch it'' Ten said, mimicking the scene, which made Y/n frown. ''And that was it.''
''Seriously, Ten, if you were sent to rob a house, you’d probably knock on the door first'' Y/n joked, smacking her forehead in mock frustration.
''What do you want me to do? I can’t just creep around and spy on them!'' Ten protested, but before Y/n could respond, someone called out.
''Hey! Y/n, how have you been? Long time, no see!'' It was Ash, who rushed over and pulled Y/n into a tight hug. Y/n felt a bit awkward at Ash's enthusiastic greeting because she was really calm and collected, y/n hugged her back, stealing a glance at Ten, who looked just as baffled. Ash pulled away and grabbed Y/n’s hands. ''I’m so excited to work with you again!'' she exclaimed, and without waiting for a reply, turned and dashed off, leaving Y/n with a mix of confusion and amusement.
''What the fuck'' mouthed Y/n looking at Ten who had the same confused expression.

“And I don’t know if I like that.” Rafe Cameron
The party was in full swing, the bass thrumming through the sand and the moon casting a silvery glow over the scene. Rafe leaned against a post, watching you laugh with Kie and Sarah. He’d been showing up to Pogue hangouts more often, claiming it was all to “keep an eye on Sarah.” But everyone else could see through that—especially the way he looked at you. You were oblivious, though, too focused on your friends and too busy throwing yourself into whatever adventure was next to notice his lingering gaze or the way he’d gravitate toward wherever you were.
The night wore on, and after a while, Rafe wandered off to catch up with some of his old crew, and the guys went to find drinks. Left alone, you, Kie, and Sarah decided to hit the makeshift dance floor, laughing and swaying to the music.
But the good vibes didn’t last. Before long, a few Kook girls approached, their smiles too sweet to be genuine. At first, it was just snide remarks about Kie’s clothes and her “Pogue” status, the usual jabs you’d all learned to ignore. But then one of them crossed a line, bringing up Kie’s family and making jabs about her dad.
You’d overheard it, freezing for a moment as the words sank in. Then, with a slow, sarcastic grin, you turned to face the girl, crossing your arms. “Sorry, didn’t quite catch that. Mind repeating it?”
The girl, clearly not expecting you to challenge her, hesitated before stepping forward, her smirk growing bolder. “I said, it makes sense Kie acts so low-class—just look at her family. Nothing but—”
Before she could finish, your fist collided with her jaw, the satisfying crack echoing over the music. She stumbled back, falling hard into the sand, her friends’ gasps filling the air. You straightened up, a deadly calm in your stance as her friends closed in, four against one. Sarah rushed forward, and Kie looked torn, her fists clenching and unclenching, but you lifted a hand, signaling them to stay back.
“I got this,” you muttered, and without another word, you threw yourself into the fray.
It wasn’t pretty, but you held your ground, moving with a fierce, unyielding determination that made the Kook girls falter. They’d expected you to back down or give up, but instead, you kept fighting, delivering blow after blow until they started to stagger, retreating with bruised pride and more than a few bruises of their own.
The first girl’s boyfriend, who’d watched from the sidelines, stormed over, fury in his eyes as he squared up to you, towering over you in an attempt to intimidate. But you didn’t flinch, your chin lifted defiantly as you stared him down, ready to swing.
Before you could, though, someone stepped in front of you, blocking you from him. Rafe.
“Back off, man,” Rafe growled, his tone low and dangerous as he glared at the guy. “Or you’ll regret it.”
The boyfriend muttered something under his breath and stormed off, dragging the girls with him. As the commotion died down, you looked up at Rafe, surprised at his sudden appearance and the protectiveness in his eyes.
Without a word, he took your hand, gently pulling you away from the crowd, finding a quiet spot just beyond the reach of the party lights. Once he stopped, he turned to you, his eyes scanning over you, checking for any scrapes or bruises with an intensity that made your heart skip.
“You okay?” he asked softly, brushing a loose strand of hair from your face.
You nodded, still catching your breath, but couldn’t help the grin that spread across your face. “They started it,” you said, shrugging, but Rafe’s gaze didn’t waver, his eyes warm with admiration.
A small smirk played on his lips as he tilted his head. “You know, you’re kinda like a mini-me,” he said, a hint of pride in his tone. “And I don’t know if I like that.”
For a second, you were speechless. Rafe Cameron wasn’t exactly known for compliments, but the way he was looking at you right now, like he was seeing you for the first time… it made you feel bold in a whole new way.
With an honest smile, you looked back at him, a softness in your eyes. “Guess that makes you the bad influence here, huh?”
His smirk turned into a full grin, his fingers brushing yours as he took a step closer. The space between you seemed to shrink, the party fading into the background as he leaned in, his voice dropping to a whisper. “I think I could get used to that.”
You spent the rest of the night together, his arm draped over your shoulders, the two of you talking, laughing, and sharing little glances that said more than words ever could. And for the first time, you let yourself wonder if maybe, just maybe, he’d been hanging around the Pogues for a reason that had nothing to do with Sarah—and everything to do with you.

Ideas for the Retransmission Shadows?
Yosuke - Shady Club
I remember you saying that Yosuke feels conflicted towards the two opportunities that he can pursue; stay in Inaba in this grocery store, or leaving for the city. I feel like he would want control over his life, but also feels resigned to his fate of a boring life with people that talk behind his back. He would want control over his life, so his Shadow is a DJ, someone who can freely change and control the music playing in his rave club. His desire for something more could be reflected in the club being very… shady, with people(?) being pushed, shoved, and harmed in the intense party atmosphere. The investigation team would need to split up into two sections of the dungeon; a calmer part of the club, where there are more intense fights or a more louder part of the club, where the floor you walk in is visibly more rickety and can fall underneath you and cause you to lose health from the fall. Yosuke has to choose between the safer, yet mentally taxing path where he stays in Inaba where he overhears people talking badly about him, or the exciting yet unstable path where he goes to the city.
Naoto - Shirogane Corp.
Naoto wants to be recognized. He wants to be recognized and admired for his intelligence, his wit, his determination. The shadow takes that sentiment and twists it into a vision of him stepping on others to reach the top. His dungeon is a giant office tower, with Shadow Naoto at the top as it’s CEO. Several shadows are locked in their cubicles, with IV drips of coffee being pumped into their system as they slave away in front of a computer. Some of them have the voices of those who look down on actual Naoto, seeing him as a pretentious and arrogant child in the real world. The bathrooms and water coolers are blocked off with laser gates. Naoto’s resentment and desire to be recognized was twisted into a desire to hurt those who hurt him.
I don’t have a good read on either Rise, Kanji, or Yukiko, so I have less of a clear idea of what their dungeons are. Maybe Yukiko could have a ruined dollhouse, with her shadow dressed like a burnt, mistreated Barbie doll, like how Yukiko wants to discard everything associated with her home, destroying it herself.
ur brain gigantic and i lov e u for it. you took shadow naoto as ceo as went 110 with it. ive been chewing on it all day.
also-- even tho it's not what I have in mind- this shadow yoosk is so damn good. I might season mine with a dj flavor now.

Small statement about myself and how I interact online: I’m a pretty chill person, I come here to chill and be chilled and laugh and smile. I curate my online experience to reflect that.
With that in mind, if I see someone wishing death on someone or telling someone to kill their self over fictional characters, I will block you on sight. I don’t really care about the context. I don’t care if it’s said if it’s said in a joking or only half-serious manner. Fandom is supposed to be an escape for everyone. You’re fully within your right to block people/tags in order to curate the content you see to suit you best. That does not include telling people they need to die or to kill themselves.
One of the most truly vile things I think you can do is tell someone they deserve to die over fictional characters.
We’re all human. Let’s act like it.
#pinned post#info post about me#I just wanted to put this out there since my blog is getting more traction lately#I see people getting harassed and chased out of fandoms for things like hcing a character as trans and that’s fucking tragic#just asking people to be nice to each other#controversial I know#remember kids: it’s up to YOU to curate your online experience!#don’t like something/someone? block it/them

seeing disability awareness posts end with “TLDR; no, read it” is fucking WILD
#queerpd.txt#it was about schizophrenia as well#and erm…#👋 has hallucinations that make my digital screens morph and change which makes them hard to read at time#especially big blocks of text… sooo?#schizophrenia#actually delusional#hallucinations#disability#disabled#abliesm#but like yeah there are a lot of disabilities that can make it difficult or even impossible to read large amounts of text#and so tldrs can be REALLY helpful for those people who still want to get the important information in something#bc just cause we struggle to read doesn’t mean we don’t deserve education and information#so it’s just wild to me. to act like someone’s evil. for wanting to check a tldr#like you can just not include it if you really don’t want to write it. you don’t have to also be an asshole#+ it’s helpful for those of us who struggle to process every detail in things#a lot of the time i will read a whole post AND the tldr bc it helps me understand exactly what is being discussed better

how do i turn qantoine’s spontaneous marriage proposal to qetoiles into evidence of his early-days fear of qfrench drifing away and keeping secrets from one another
#the conversation takes place in antoine’s vod: L’ANNIVERSAIRE DE TALLULAH at 41 mins ish#like . okay . its such a fucking crazy moment to me that still lives in my head bc it’s a a joke . but it’s also not#he asks etoiles directly after spiderbit wedding . ‘don’t you want to get married?’#after it gets mentioned*#etoiles turns him down bc he ‘doesn’t have time to fuck [he] needs to kill everyone’#and antoine says ‘well but— just a marriage’ like it’s the act itself that is the most important to him not anything that could come with it#the confirmation of partnership . of having someone to rely on . something that feels to him maybe more certain and solid than the#friendships antoine had at that point . like if he felt things were slipping and he was being left behind he wanted the certainty of#something like a marriage that is traditionally considered More important and certain .#and i think the end of their conversation is notable in how antoine brings up the notion of betrayal — he getting betrayed by others and how#he’s fed up with it . after etoiles says no to the marriage (though specifying that he’s gonna think about it) antoine brings the whole#betrayal thing up after a pause . he doesn’t necessarily consider etoiles as having betrayed him but it’s that lack of certainty#certainty that etoiles has refused to give him that makes him start to open up about how he’s tired of people promising him things (or#seeming to promise him things) only to leave him out and in the dark . and there’s an insecurity there that really shines if you take this#moment into consideration with the Larger Shifting his character is going through .#like tldr ; qantoine has begun to realise that his friends are starting to form deeper bonds with other people and thus keep secrets with#them which to him means leaving him behind . taking notice of this he brings this up to his friends in . not exactly direct ways . he#talks about how he doesn’t like secret keeping but doesn’t seem to push much further and he also tries to remedy the issue#of feeling left behind by doing shit as discussed above ^ however on account of the InHuman i’m not sure he understands what he’s doing very#well . and as we know antoine doesn’t make much progress and ends up retreating into himself and beginning to keep his own secrets . to do#his own shady shit . to work in the shadows and not be honest with any of his friends either . to hold them at arm’s length despite how much#he still cares . the only person he puts his full trust into anymore is pomme . not ayp who he deems too underhanded . not bagz who he sees#as having started the whole ‘secret keeping’ stuff in the first place . and not etoiles who’s actively going down a path with the codes and#resistance that he cannot follow#that was NOT a short tldr . why the fuck am i writing dissertation length tags about MINECRAFT BLOCKS#god whatever who cares i get joy out of this thats what matters#anw if you read this far holy shit ur insane . thank you#i am going to bed now godbless !#jay rambles#qfrench.posting

On today’s episode of “here’s why the website formerly known as Twitter is broken” apparently users you have blocked will be able to see your posts again soon, just not interact with them???
DOES THAT NOT DEFEAT THE POINT OF BLOCKING????????
#I mean ultimately I think if u block someone it’s for yourself first and foremost and less about the other person#but still this is so weird#like you can see someone’s posts but not interact with them that will make it super obvious you are blocked??#what if someone has ME blocked??? I don’t want to know????????#clearly they don’t want me seeing their stuff and so I don’t want to see it either??????? I don’t get it#Elon musk is dumb#twitter#x#cadence rants#tumblr block function is better tho I don’t like how you can see whatever tag is muted in a post you don’t want to see#like if I had to keep reading the tag name of something I blocked bc it made me upset but I didn’t want to unfollow people#that would make me crazy nsnsnssn#I hope it never comes to that#anyway
