I think something a lot of Drew fans don't realize (or maybe even ignore) is that the idea of her being a mean girl as a way to cope with Silena's death is just a headcanon. Rick Riordan never meant for Drew to be anything more than a pretty mean girl stereotype to put down femininity.

I'm not saying that like it's a good thing, it sucks that being a mean girl to make a point of girliness was all Drew was written as, and I love the headcanons for her! But that's the thing, they're just headcanons. I see quite a bit of hate for Piper and how she interacted with Drew even though the hate is based on a purely fanon idea.

someone said on twitter that Himmel and Frieren are MalleYuu coded....TRUER WORDS HAVE BEEN SPOKEN... SO I HAD TO 😭😭😭😭💔💔

I drew this inspired by the scene of Himmel's funeral when Frieren cried for him...

Frieren is literally the embodiment of Malleus' struggle (loss of every loved one).... but difference is that she's coping healthily with it... She should take Malleus as her apprentice lol

I really recommend watching Frieren at the Funeral ✨✨✨ I could go on with how Frieren parallels Malleus with how slow they are at realizing their feelings and their skewed sense of time...

Thinking back on the scene from Book 6 where Malleus indirectly implied he missed Yuu, its similar to this scene actually... Where Frieren finally processes that Himmel is gone Gone and finally grieves about her regret in being passive with him... 😭

Also lowkey mentioning Heart of Clear Springs Event from Genshin..... THAT HEAVILY REMINDS ME OF MALLEYUU TOO AUGH...😭😭😭

I had terrible week and your writing always is a beautiful sight on my dash, so can I request some 40k Argus reuniting with Legion of the Damned Ferrus on battlefield by accident. Make it extra angsty if you can 💔 thank you

He looked upon each flaming warrior. They moved in orderly fashion and did not attack those of the Imperium. They were their saving grace in this fight.

He'd heard many stories of the Legion of the Damned. Including one he hoped was true.

As Argus scanned the battlefield, he spotted one of the damned. Far taller and larger than any of the others. His helmet floated in a plume of flames. His forearms were made of metal.

Argus' breath caught in his throat as he stared at the being. How should he handle this? Approach? Wait patiently?

The being turned away from the battle and began heading to the back. All logic flew out of Argus' mind, and he chased after.

"Ferrus!" He yelled. "Ferrus! Please! It's me! Argus! Wait!"

If he could hear him, the primarch paid no mind. Argus was grateful he wasn't perceived as a threat and that the members of the legion didn't attempt to strike him down.

Argus slid in front of the flaming Primarch.

"Ferrus," he begged. "Please. It's me! Argus! Don't you recognize me?"

The being kept walking forward, brushing his adopted son aside as if he weren't there.

Argus grabbed his hand and tried to pull him back.

"Don't ignore me!" He cried. "It's been so long. You have to remember me or-or-or - at least something!"

Ferrus didn't react.

"You're Ferrus Manus!" Argus screamed as he fell to his knees. "The Gorgon! Primarch of the Iron Hands! You and Fulgrim were dear to each other! You adopted me!"

The leader of the damned drew farther away as Argus broke down and buried his face in his hands.

"Father..." He sobbed.

Was it really him? Maybe they were just a husk of the primarch or made in his image. Either way, it hurt. He wanted him back so badly. He should give up on his return and continue to cope.

The footsteps had drawn closer rather than faded away. Argus looked up to the flaming gleam of the helmet lenses. Beyond them was the faint outline of irises.

Metal fingers reached out and brushed his cheek. Despite flickering fire upon them, they were a pleasant warm.

"Father?" Argus questioned.

The brushing fingers turned into a caress as the burning being dropped to his knees and pulled his son into a hug.

Argus cried, grateful the flames didn't burn.

While Sprat/Pythagoras’ monologue was incredible and I am very worried for Ryan + the Professor, at the same time him boasting about taking over the show and murder was very funny with the context of what Ryan and The Professor have been through

Next we have the TEAM TO PERHAPS BRING BACK RYAN AND THE PROFESSOR BECAUSE THEYRE THE ONLY ONES LEFT (you do not understand my joy and shock at the return of the plauge rat AND THE BOX) also drawing Shane twice right next to each other is a new one and hey maybe God will finally do something again!!

also apparently watching a history show too much accidentally gives you the power of prophecy because I drew this picture based off a random idea and for a weird lighting test in JANUARY

Yeah kinda cringe probably BUT IT IS ACCIDENTALLY SUPER RELEVANT NOW BECAUSE THEYRE NOT HOME ANYMORE!! THEYRE IN PUPPET PURGATORY!! CAN RYAN EVEN SURVIVE IN A PUPPET BASED PLACE??

i too need to cope after wl2 like as a rule of thumb i don’t like angst 😭 it’s okay if it’s brief and then quickly resolved like normal event stories but the thought of alternate universe akito and toya just being separated and miserable forever because they made the wrong choice is just 🥲 i don’t like it

i totally get the feeling of burnout (i hardly drew anything for like the entirety of 2022 and it sucked) but i’m really happy that i inspire you at least <3
