I saw this a couple weeks ago, and i finally got enough stuff to make it today! I used this recipe for pie crust yesterday, which i could do because i have a food processor. I dunno how to make pie crust without it, this is literally the second time i ever made pie dough. I should look into that, but ive done enough this week so i'll do research another time.

but dudes, this is really good! ive never made a custard before, (i'm pretty sure that's a custard base? i'm not 100 percent sure, but i'm pretty sure), it's so rich and creamy, and was perfectly sweet, and had a surprising amount of tea flavor, but the good part of tea, not the bitterness.

The only major changes i made was that I used store bought whipped cream, and I mixed part of it (like a quarter of what i had, a cup or two maybe?) into the filling before i put it into the pie, cause my mom taught me that technique in similar pies i made a long time ago, using jello pudding. i also forgot to put butter into the filling before i cooled it. You don't need it, i guess, but it probably adds more richness. And i used lady grey. it's similar to earl grey, i think it just has another spice in it, iirc? I thought i had earl grey, but i was wrong. luckily i had enough to substitute. Oh, and cheep imitation vanilla. like a teaspoon.

it's definitely a treat. It's something special, and i'm incredibly proud i made it. I'm gonna whip this out for very special occasions, for sure.

After a much-needed shower, you made your way to the common room. You rolled your tense muscles as you filled the kettle with water and waited patiently. As you watched the water boil, Ghost joined and gave you a casual head nod. Part of you was glad he wasn't one for conversation, especially following the arduous mission you had just completed. You returned the gesture and back to your now boiling water. "There's enough for you, Lt," you commented before searching the drawers for your favorite tea. However, as you reached into the empty tin, you groaned. "Fuck," you mumbled before Ghost turned to you. You held up the tin disappointedly, "Someone finished the last bag." "Probably Soap," he responded and you threw it the tin in the recycling. You sighed before grabbing some decaf chamomile, a close second to your favorite lavender earl grey blend but far from the same.

As you sipped on the lackluster tea, you sat down on the worn couch. You hoisted your legs up, pulling out your phone to scroll through some mindless posts and videos. It was a necesssary reprieve and you were enjoying your enrichment time. However, it was interrupted by Gaz and Soap loudly entering the room. "Fuck me, mate," you could hear Gaz exclaim, "why'd you talk me into the gym and then a run." To your disgust, the room filled with the smell of sweat and musk, most likely from Soap. They continued to talk and you recognized the familiar sound of water bottles being filled before they made your way to you. "Evening Sweetheart," Soap commented and gently moved your legs off the couch to sit.

"Not in the mood, Soap," you mumbled as you adjusted yourself and he laughed. "141's sweetheart has an attitude," he chided and you rolled your eyes. "Why do they call you 'Sweetheart' anyways?" Gaz asked, joining on an adjacent chair. "Some fucking guys in my squad thought it was hilarious," you replied, with an emphasis on your last word. You hated the callsign, something that followed you throughout basic and into selection. Your all-male squad thought it was a great idea to call you the group's sweetheart and the name stuck. The misogynistic atmosphere was one of the downsides to the job but you tried to ignore it the best you could. "I bet they thought she was a barrack bunny," Soap joked and you put down your phone to shoot daggers at him. Gaz even hit his leg lightly but the petulant sergeant continued.

"So tell me, Bonnie," he asked in a sarcastic tone, "were ya one?" You scoffed at his question and you swore you could feel your eyes roll. You took a moment to internalize your anger before replying. "Don't have to be such a bitch about it, Mactavish," you replied coldly before gesturing your hand in a 'go away' motion. Before he could bite back at your response, Ghost interrupted. "Get a shower, Soap, you smell like shit," he responded and everyone realized he had taken a position at one of the tables in the room. "Steamin Jesus, Lt." Soap responded in shock, "you really are a ghost." "He's right, you smell like a sewer," you added with a smirk and you could tell he was feeling more self-conscious. "I swear I'll find out," Soap responded before quickly walking off to the showers.

You returned back to your scrolling as the room fell silent again. You could feel Gaz looking at you and you took a moment to put your phone back down. "What Gaz?" you interrogated as you met his gaze. "What's the real story behind your callsign?" he asked, almost nervously. You laughed a bit before you responded to his question. "Just some assholes from the Army," you said plainly, "at least they were more creative than you. What kind of a name is Gaz anyways?"

LATE WINTER BUTTER ROLLS

My first post I ever made. I was pretty new to the tumblr community at the time. I loved kitchen witchcraft, and I'm the type of person who will ramble on about how much I love cooking and baking. This blog gave me an outlet to express my love of cooking, baking, paganism, and witcraft. And these rolls are very tasty, I make them to this day!

WITCHY TOMATO BASIL SOUP

Tasty, simple, and a crowd-pleaser. It's perfect for a beginner kitchen witch! It was also the second recipe I ever posted.

It was a recipe given to me by one of my good friends at the time. Every time I make it, it gets devoured in less than 10 minutes. It was also my first recipe to get over 50 notes. I was shocked but ecstatic that so many people would even give it the time of day lol.

LEON KENNEDY

Ever since that date, he sneaks off when you're not around to try all the flavours.

He would be a sweet tooth (despite how passionately he will deny this), and orders the limited edition seasaonal tea with extra foam on top! Always 100% ice and sugar.

He's a closet sweet-tooth (especially RE2 Leon, he looks like he pretends to like coffee, inspired by this)

When you find an empty cup in the bin, he will act nonchalant and say "Oh I happen to pass by for work".

But you already know he's lying when you found a membership card in the frontest pocket of his wallet - probably eligible for a few free drinks at this point.

REBECCA CHAMBERS

Caramel milk tea with pudding. Extra sugar and standard ice.

She likes sugar, and she's not afraid to admit it!

Always get the large size since she works long hours in the lab, so she sips away her drink throughout her shift.

Probably hyped up the shop to all her colleagues already, hoping to find a companion to join her.

Very close with the shop manager since she goes there daily - will chat and banter with them

CHRIS REDFIELD

He would just get plain black tea, no sugar and less ice.

To keep up with his physique and body fat percentage low, he doesn't usually drink unless you drag him there.

Raves on about the antioxidants in black tea and how it's good for you (such a health nerd)

Starts complaining 'it's too sweet' everytime he sips on any of your drinks - apparently even a hint of sugar is too much for this old man sometimes.

ASHLEY GRAHAM

Matcha with fresh milk, extra sugar, cream on top, and mini pearls!

I think she will start drinking mango fruit tea/fruity with popping pearls but eventually branches out to matcha.

She probably thought of doing a bottomless bubble tea stand for her dream wedding ceremony.

I think she would get along with Rebecca with their mutual love for bubble tea! I think they'll be such good friends if not their age differences!

CARLOS OLIVEIRA

Normally, Carlos orders a very normal coconut green tea with no modifications.

Until one day he decides to be really cheeky and order it with every topping the shop has to offer

Rainbow jelly, pearls, pudding, grass jelly, etc. (yes, even red beans)

So many toppings that only half of the cup is liquid and the other half is a concoction of chaos

Bobarista is terrified, but Carlos is grinning widely

Still inhales the whole drink in less than an hour anyway

ADA WONG

She will go for a warm brewed tea (thinking between oolong or earl grey), no toppings or sugar.

Don't think she enjoys iced drinks in general, rather have warm/hot drinks or just plain water.

Something in the bubble tea gives her acne breakouts so she avoids it. Plus her job is so busy that it doesn't allow her such luxuries.

Might indulge in extra sugar if she wants a treat, but suffers the consequences later.

what is your exact fussy teabrewing way?

- loose leaf tea from somewhere where the harvest date is mentioned

- 227g (8oz) filtered water to 2g of tea (a teaspoon is wildly different amounts of tea depending on how fine the tea is! I do not use them)

- water boiled to temperature depending on the type of tea (212 F / 100 C for ‘plain’ black and herbal; 207 F for Darjeeling, Earl Grey, oolong and other types of black tea; 175 for jasmine and other green teas, or white tea)

- brewed in a metal sieve (not paper—absorbs too many oils) for an amount of time depending on the type of tea (2 min for black; 3 for specific blacks; 5 for green; 10-15 for white)

This is all a starting point, and then I adjust the time and temperature slightly as I work through a particular tin of tea and figure out the best way to brew it.

The timing is especially important. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than ordering jasmine somewhere, and smelling that it should be a really gorgeous, aromatic, complex tea, but they’ve just kind of left the tea in the whatever for however long so now you don’t get much other than bitterness. Sigh

I love the idea that Price is a sucker for a good fire. As soon as the weather starts getting the right temperature, it's on his mind. He loves sitting out by a nice fire, especially with you curled up on his lap in a lounge chair. It relaxes him, being out in nature. I also headcanon that he loves camping and hiking too.

He'll gladly let you chew on his tags if you want (though he does request that you let him wash them first). He probably has some of those silicone dogtag silencers on em too. Can't risk them clinking around when he's on a stealth mission, yknow? Does not mind in the slightest if he comes away with some teeth marks on them - in fact, they probably make him a little sentimental. Like you're with him, in a way.

100% this man knows how to make the world's best tea. And he knows how to make different types too, depending on what you need. Various herbal blends, plus the standards like earl grey. He probably has one of those little firepit kettles too, just so he can brew some tea without having to go back inside.

Something Sebastian looked forward to was the visit of (name), Ciel's violin teacher.

He never met such a human like him, someone somehow untainted by the harshness of the world.

"Hello Mr.Sebastian, how are you fairing?" (Name) asked kindly as he was led to Ciel's Drawing room where the classes were always held "those kittens were born this morning if you ever wish to visit and see them"

"Perhaps I shall" Sebastian said with a soft smile as he leaned down to the violinist so their faces were almost touching "I will await your letter then Mr. Sebastian " he said gently before allowing Sebastian to inform Ciel of his presence.

"Hello my Lord, are you ready for today's lesson" (name) said with a slight bow to the Earl who nodded and the lesson began.

"You are improving a bit my lord, I have nothing but high hopes you will excel!"

Sebastian escorted (name) to his carriage"I hope to see you soon Mr. Sebastian" (name) said looking into Sebastians deep plum eyes as the demon said nothing but based on the expression (name) knew he would see him soon.

It was a warm summer day when (name) heard a knock on his door, his music shop closed today and he was spending his time with the tiny kittens as their mama and (name)s cat took a rest away from her scrappy little Tykes.

"Mr. Sebastian? What a pleasant surprise!" (Name) said letting the demon in and Sebastian looked at (name) dressed in more casual clothes, not much different from his usual attire but no coat "let me start the kettle! I picked up some treats this morning from the bakery!"

Taking Sebastian's coat he hung it up before going to make tea and get snacks.

When he returned with the tray he watched Sebastian play with the tiny kittens who were absolutely overjoyed with the new climbing toy they had.

"I have Lady grey tea and this new tea called 'orange peakoe" (name) said softly as the two sat in the floor "do these little ones have names?" Sebastian asked petting the belly of a kitten, the little fur ball purring away happily as his siblings play with some toys (name) made "ah no, though when they're older the undertaker wants to adopt them, he has a bit of a rat problem and these guys would help that enormously"

"I see..."

"How do you take your tea Mr.Sebastian"

"Just Sebastian, I believe we have become more than mere acquaintances at this point" Sebastian said letting the tiny kitten go as the kittens went to go eat "so are you just vistiting for the kittens mr--- Sebastian"

"Well, I actually came to see you"

"Really?"

"Yes you forgot something your last visit"
