Leonard Snart was raised by an abusive father and took refuge with his grandfather, who worked in an ice truck. When his grandfather died, Snart grew tired of his father's abuse and set out to start a criminal career. Snart joined up with a group of small-time thieves and in planning out a robbery, each was issued a gun and a visor to protect their eyes against the flashes of gunfire. This visor design would later be adapted by Snart into his trademark costume. In recent years he has added a radio receiver to them which picks up the police band to monitor local law enforcement. Snart and the other thugs were captured by the Flash and imprisoned. Snart decided to go solo, but knew he had to do something about the local hero, the Flash.[4]
Snart read an article that theorized that the energy emissions of a cyclotron could interfere with the Flash's speed. He designed a weapon to harness that power and broke into a cyclotron lab, intending to use the device to charge up his experimental gun. As he was finishing his experiment, a security guard surprised Snart. Intending to use his gun only to scare the guard, he inadvertently pulled the trigger and discovered that his weapon had been altered in a way he had never imagined. The moisture in the air around the guard froze. Intrigued by this twist of fate, Snart donned a parka and the aforementioned visor and declared himself to be Captain Cold - the man who mastered absolute zero.[7]
Snart then committed a series of non-lethal crimes, on one occasion placing the city in suspended animation in an attempt to force Iris West to marry him as he had fallen in love with her when he saw her in the prison, but the Flash got through a wall of ice and was able to reverse the process. He later fell in love with a newscaster, and competed with Heat Wave (in his first appearance) over her in a crime spree, but they were both beaten by the Flash. But after Barry Allen's death, during the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Captain Cold became a bounty hunter with his sister Lisa, the Golden Glider.[4]
During the events of Underworld Unleashed, Captain Cold lost his soul to Neron but Wally West brought it back to the land of the living. He soon returned to crime, this time a member of Wally's Rogues Gallery. The Rogues had first been assembled when another Flash foe, the super-intelligent Gorilla Grodd had broken them out of jail to distract the Flash. The Golden Glider had abandoned her bounty hunter career and had started partnering with a series of thugs who she dressed in a costume, armed with a copy of Captain Cold's signature Cold Gun, and called Chillblaine. Already distraught over the death of her lover, the Top, it seemed that the supposed death of her brother pushed her over the edge. But the last Chillblaine was a little smarter and more vicious. He murdered the Golden Glider, prompting Captain Cold to hunt him down, torture him and kill him by freezing his outer layer of skin and then pushing him off a high rise building. Not long after that, Snart was framed by a new incarnation of Mister Element. He used his Element Gun to simulate Cold's gun, using ice and cold to murder several police officers before Captain Cold and the Flash discovered who was actually responsible. With the death of his sister, and having killed Chillblaine and Mr. Element in vengeance, Cold has again become an unrepentant criminal. However, during a confrontation with Brother Grimm, Cold actually worked with Wally West to defeat the powerful magic user, although this was mainly because he and Mirror Master had been betrayed by Grimm and wanted revenge.[4]
Captain Cold was declared the leader of the Flash's Rogues Gallery. His skill and experience have made him a strong leader to the likes of the Weather Wizard, the new Trickster, the new Mirror Master, and the new Captain Boomerang. Len seems to have taken the young Captain Boomerang under his wing, after the elder Boomerang was recently killed. Tabloids rumoured that Captain Cold's sister, the Golden Glider, was Boomerang's mother, making him Captain Cold's nephew. This turned out to be false, however, as the new Boomerang's mother has been revealed to be Meloni Thawne, who is also the mother of Bart Allen. Despite his more ruthless nature as of late, Captain Cold's heart is not completely frozen, evidenced by having sent flowers to honor Sue Dibny, murdered wife of the Elongated Man.[volume & issue needed]
Traditionally, Captain Cold is driven by three things: money, women, and the desire to beat Barry Allen. Although not the lecher that Captain Boomerang was, Len Snart has an eye for the ladies, particularly models. When Barry Allen died, Captain Cold drifted for a while, jumping back and forth over the lines of crime and justice. He was captured by the Manhunter and served time in the Suicide Squad, worked with his sister as a bounty hunter (Golden Snowball Recoveries), and, with his longtime friend and sometimes nemesis Heat Wave, encountered Fire and Ice of the Justice League. He has teamed up with various villains over the years other than the many Rogues. These include Catwoman and the Secret Society of Super Villains. His favorite baseball team is the Houston Astros.[volume & issue needed]
"One Year Later"Edit
In the 2006 "One Year Later" storyline, he and several other Rogues are approached by Inertia with a plan to kill the Flash (then Barry Allen). Though Inertia was defeated, Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, Heat Wave, Mirror Master and Abra Kadabra killed Bart with a combined barrage of their elemental weapons. He, Heat Wave, and Weather Wizard seemed to express guilt, however, after learning the identity of the Flash and how young he was.
Salvation RunEdit
Captain Cold is one of the exiled villains featured in the 2007-08 miniseries Salvation Run along with his fellow Rogues: Heat Wave, Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, and Abra Kadabra.
New RoguesEdit
The New Rogues version of Captain Cold is Chill, a unknown man who possesses a Cold Gun.
Final Crisis: Rogues' RevengeEdit
In the 2008 miniseries Final Crisis: Rogues' Revenge, Captain Cold and the Rogues briefly joined Libra's Secret Society of Super Villains. In Final Crisis: Rogues' Revenge story, however, Cold and the rest of the Rogues reject Libra's offer, wanting to stay out of the game. Before they can retire, they hear of Inertia escaping and decide to stick around long enough to get revenge for being used.[8] Cold and his group are challenged by a new set of Rogues, formed by Libra to be their replacements. The new group, having kidnapped Cold's father, challenge the Rogues, and are defeated and killed. Cold goes to his father, talking to him about the abuse he suffered, and the fate of his sister. After the elder Snart insults him and his mother, calling them weak, Cold punches him, but finds himself unable to kill him, instead getting Heat Wave to do it.[9] The Rogues have their confrontation with Inertia, despite interference by Zoom and Libra, and kill Inertia. Libra then reveals that he needs the Rogues because Barry Allen has returned from the dead, and the Flashes are potential threats to him and Darkseid. Though shocked by the news that Allen is alive, Cold still rejects his offer of membership. After regrouping, Cold and the other Rogues agree not to retire, claiming that the game is back on.[10] In "Final Crisis" #7, someone that looks like Captain Cold appears as a Justifier and is seen fighting the Female Furies alongside the other Justifiers under Lex Luthor's control.
The Flash: RebirthEdit
In the 2009 The Flash: Rebirth miniseries, Captain Cold is seen with the other Rogues, reading about Barry Allen's return and claiming that they would need more of the Rogues.[11] The Rogues are still debating Allen's return, with Cold saying it's time to pull out their contingency plan that Scudder came up with, stating "In case The Flash returns, break glass."[12]
"Blackest Night"Edit
In the 2009–2010 "Blackest Night" storyline, the Rogues realize that the bodies of various dead Rogues are missing and prepare to fight them. Captain Cold knows that his sister, the Golden Glider, is among the reanimated Black Lanterns but is still ready to lead the Rogues against the zombies.[13] He is confronted by the Black Lantern Glider, who attempts to use his feelings of love for her against him. However, Captain Cold manages to suppress these feelings long enough for him to fight back, freezing her within a block of ice.[14] He subsequently kills Owen Mercer by throwing him into a pit with his Black Lantern father when he learns that Owen has been feeding people to his father in the belief that consuming flesh will restore him to life, informing Owen that Rogues do not kill women and children.[15]
The Flash (Vol. 3)Edit
In The Flash (Vol. 3), Captain Cold and the Rogues visit Sam Scudder's old hideout and unveil a giant mirror with the words In Case of Flash: Break Glass written on it and release beings from a Mirror World upon breaking it.[16] However, Captain Cold is told by Mirror Master he had discovered that the giant mirror is actually a slow acting poison.[17]
The New 52Edit
In the timeline of the 2011 company-wide reboot of all its superhero titles, The New 52, Captain Cold is reintroduced as a younger man than in the previous timeline and now with his Rogues lives with a code to never kill. His origin remains the same, however, his sister Lisa has not been the Golden Glider, and is instead dying of cancer. Upon learning that the hospital does not have enough energy to power a laser that could save her life, because of an EMP seemingly caused by the Flash, Cold blames him for everything that has happened to him, including a falling out with the Rogues, and decides to break the rules of their "game" and kill the Flash. Captain Cold has undergone experiments that have given him ice-based metahuman powers, including the ability to slow down the molecules around him, creating a field of inertia that reduces the Flash's speed to human level, allowing Captain Cold to touch him and effortlessly beat him.[18] He and the Rogues are set to return,[19] but later defeated them with help from Flash, and the Pied Piper.[20]
After freeing the Trickster and attending the meeting at the Justice League Watchtower, the Rogues return to Central and Keystone City, only to see that both have been destroyed by Gorilla Grodd. Grodd returns to Central City during the eclipse, while a ceremony commemorating Flash between the humans and gorillas is occurring. Grodd proceeds to take control of Central City as its king and renames it Gorilla City. Captain Cold sees the city's cops tied up from Grodd, and proceeds to free them. He then asks Mirror Master to help him get to the hospital where his sister is being held in order to check on her. While there, the Crime Syndicate send Black Bison, Hyena, Multiplex, Plastique and Typhoon to finish Grodd's work and destroy the hospital. The Rogues are able to hold them off, only to be interrupted by Deathstorm and Power Ring, who were sent by Ultraman to deal with the Rogues for resisting the Crime Syndicate's offer to join them. After battling Deathstorm and Power Ring, Deathstorm attacks Captain Cold and is able to extract his freezing powers from his DNA. Mirror Master attempts to get the Rogues out through the Mirror World, but Power Ring destroys the mirror causing the Rogues to be separated. Captain Cold ends up at Luthor and his Kryptonian clone's location where they are also joined by Black Manta, who has retrieved Black Adam from the ocean.[21] Luthor realizes that, with the help of his clone, Black Adam, Black Manta, and Captain Cold, he may be able to stop the Crime Syndicate. Captain Cold and the rest of the squad, now joined by Batman, Catwoman, Sinestro and Deathstroke, infiltrate the fallen Watchtower, where Black Manta kills the Outsider and Cold proceeds to shatter Johnny Quick's right leg after having frozen the molecules in it with his cold gun. He then unmasks the hooded prisoner brought over from Earth-3, revealing it to be Alexander Luthor, who is their version of Shazam, Mazahs, who states he will kill them all.[22][volume & issue needed] After defeating the crime syndicate, Captain Cold is pardoned by the U.S government, and becomes a member of the Justice League, along with Luthor.
DC RebirthEdit
Snart and the Rogues first made a cameo appearance in the DC Rebirth's storylines; they are fleetingly watching a news report about the many newly created speedsters appearing throughout the city in The Flash #3. Snart quips that it is time for the Rogues to leave Central City for a while. Visually the Rogues still seem to be based upon their New 52 appearances in this cameo, though when Snart later appears in one of Flash's memory flashbacks he has resorted to an even older look. He and the other Rogues retain these costumes in their later appearances.
Snart and the Rogues make their first full-length appearance in The Flash #15, where they are attempting to steal a valuable golden statue of the god Mercury from the small island nation of Corto Maltese. The Flash arrives to stop them, but they turn out to be constructs of Mirror Master laid so that the Rogues can commit a crime spree in Central City. Captain Cold reveals what he had been working on in his absence from the city—a "black ice gun" that uses the anti-Speed Force weaponry of the terrorist group Black Hole combined with his regular freeze gun. After a fight, the Golden Glider had a chance to kill the Flash, but was talked out of it by her fellow Rogues. Despite this setback, Flash manages to finally beat Snart and the rest of the Rogues without killing them. By the end of The Flash #17, Snart appears to be ready to take over Iron Heights from the more neophyte villains, including Papercut.
In the Watchmen sequel Doomsday Clock, Captain Cold and his fellow Rogues are among the villains that attend the underground meeting held by Riddler that talks about the Superman Theory.[23]

Mobile Verses Post
Main Pre-Oculus Verse:
Leonard Snart is a World Class Criminal, and takes very much pride in his skill and ability in his profession-despite the opinion that some might have of it. He started off working jobs with his Dad as a kid, and soon enough it became his primary way of gaining money. With the abuse his Father tended to deal out his main Goal as a kid was to make the money to pull his little sister Lisa out of that home, and he was finally able to do as much when she was 13 and Leonard was 25.
Main Post-Oculus Verse:
Leonard didn't die in the explosion in the Oculus, instead him being in physical contact with the machine threw him into the timeline and caused a meta gene to activate in him and morph into something it wouldn't have been if activated by a particle accelerator. This meta gene cause him the have power's similar to cisco's, however instead of being able to jump through space to other world or universe? He is able to jump through time. It's possible that the original meta powers he would have gotten will surface at some point in the future and he will have Cryokinesis, but for now his only power is jumping through time and occasionally being able to see through it when time and his memories have been changed.
For awhile he was trapped in a sort of time limbo, stuck in the temporal zone and the time stream watching his own life and the lives of people he loved playing out-until he was able to latch on to something thing to be able to pull himself out. That thing was his partner Mick Rory. He ends up back on the ship, meeting the current team and staying aboard. He only remembers snipets of things he saw in the time stream that weren't things he'd lived through himself, but his uncanny ability to count time in his head is better than ever.
Leona Snart:
Leona Snart is the Elder daughter of Lewis Snart, and the protective elder sister of Lisa Snart. She practically raised her sister and would do anything to protect her and keep her safe, and couldn't stand the idea of either Lisa or her partner in crime Mick Rory permanently not being in her life any more.
Icy Mother:
Leona Snart never really planned for Motherhood, but then one day she found out she was pregnant with her Partner Mick Rory's child. She never got a chance to tell him; she decided to 'one more heist and then I will' and then Mick was caught up in the fire and she couldn't get him to leave. She left and she stayed away, after what had happened she tried to keep her distance from him-admittedly not for the first time in their long and complicated partnership. It wasn't until she went to find him again and give him the Heat Gun and ask for help with The Flash that she told him, bringing him to meet their daughter who Lisa was watching.
Earth Three Verse:
Leonard Snart is the elder brother of Central City’s mayor Lisa Snart, the two were raised by their Grandfather when their Father’s custody was revoked when his abuse came to light. When their Grandfather died when Len was 25 and Lisa was 13 him and his partner Mick Rory took her in, Leonard currently holds a minor engineering position at Star Lab’s and spends his night’s fighting crime as his alter ego Citizen Cold–though usually he goes simply by Cold. He is a meta human with the ability of cryokinesis, which he think’s is due to the dry ice he was transporting when the Particle Accelerator went off.
Criminal Husbands:
Leonard Snart and Mick Rory have been married for about 5 years and had an on again off again thing going on for a little over 25 years now. When Lisa was taken away from their Father by Leonard? Mick played a big part in the girl's younger life, being her primary guardian along side Leonard from her 13th year on.
Criminally Domestic: with @unpaidpiper
Leonard Snart couldn’t say he was entirely shocked at the uselessness of the Central City Police when he heard rumors that a kid had been seen in less than savory parts of town sleeping on the streets and dumpster diving for food, but when he went to look into it himself and would a kid that couldn’t have been more than 4 or 5 years old? He was entirely disgusted by their utter ineptitude. With the offer of a meal and a bed he was able to convince the kid to come with him, learning that his name was Nathaniel on the way back to the Rouge House. When he got back he got him some food and told him to stay in the kitchen well he went to go talk to Lisa and Mick.
He told them the rumors he’d heard and that when he’d gone looking he’d found Nathaniel, after he was done explaining he shoved a wad of cash at Lisa from one of his stashes and told her to go get some cloths and whatever else she thought they might need. He made the kid go clean up after that, giving him an old T-Shirt and telling him to call for help if he needed it and waited outside the bathroom for him to be done. By the time Lisa came back with a literal truck load of stuff half way through the night Nathaniel was asleep in Leonard’s bed and he resigned himself to the fact that he would just have to endure sleeping with a literal space heater for the night.
Though not exactly official because doing so would be near impossible with their records, from then on him and Mick have been his adoptive parents, and they don't take to kindly if anyone make's negative comments on them being parents. When Rip comes they initially refuse him, eventually agreeing to it when he say’s that he would allow to bring their kid who at this point had gained the nickname Nettie with them as well.
Missing Piece:
Everything has turned out the same, save for the fact that Leonard didn't get his hand back because the technology doesn't exist on the Waverider. He is dealing with the loss of his hand much worse than he let's on to people, not wanting to let Mick know how much it affect's him well also thinking of it as a punishment for what he caused Mick to go through. He had relied on his hand so much throughout his life for thieving and handling his weapon though that there are times when he's alone that he'll get angry and throw something that isn't quite working with his left hand.
He did ask Ray to modify his gun and holster however, making it able to shoot from his left hand easier as well as easier to get in and out of the holster that is now kept on his left leg. He is practicing his use of it with his less dominant hand, but it's going at a much more frustratingly slow pace than he'd prefer. He refuses to be a liability to anyone though, and so he refuses when the offer to go back to 2016 is give and continues training himself to get by with only his left hand.
Fire & Ice:
Inspired by robininthelabyrinth’s AUs
Len's the muscle and Mick is the brain's, throw in Len having Ice Meta Power's and a temper problem; especially when it comes to people insulting his partner? There's sure to be at least a bit of fun.
No Place Like Home
Inspired by robininthelabyrinth’s AU
Leonard is Jax's cousin, removed a couple of times but still has grown up around the family since his Mother and Grandma Louise are two of the only ones who didn't abandon them when their Mother refused to leave Lewis and then later died. They took care of Lisa well he was in juvie, even sending her away to skating camp for the summer well he was in Juvie despite not really having the extra money because they knew what home life was like even with Len there with her.

Note
relationships + blair!
Thank you, love!
1. Do they have any friends? Would they consider anyone to be their best friend?
Oh, absolutely. Blair has a ton of friends, it’s hard to not be friends with her...for the most part. Some people you just can’t get along with, no matter how hard you try. As for a best friend, that’s hard because there are a few she’s super close with. I would say it would either be Sara, Tori, Felicity, Caitlin, or Cisco. Barry and Iris are more close friends of hers too, but those are the big ones. Blair loves her fellow nerds, you know? And she’s known Tori since high school, they go pretty far back. She has a special bond with each of them, even Ray and Mick. Girl has a decent-sized circle around her.
2. What’s their friend group like? What role do they play in it?
It’s honestly a mixture, but most of them are nerds. Her and Sara are close, mostly because they’ve fought together in Star City and developed a bond when Laurel and Felicity introduced them. It’s mostly something familiar and they’ve built a mutual respect, and the loss of Laurel hit them hard and brought them even closer with understanding. Cisco, Caitlin, and her worked together before the Particle Accelerator exploded. It’s a lasting friendship, though, which is why she feels so comfortable going to them to help her with her powers. As her canon progresses, more and more people get added to that circle: Ray, Oliver, Felicity, Lisa Snart...honestly, she’s just a friendly person. She plays a very supportive role within the group, someone who has a balance of logical reasoning and emotional understanding/empathy. Blair is a problem solver, too, whether it’s something she needs to help when it comes to the field (fighting bad guys and such) or just offering advice.
3. What’s their love life like? Do they have any kids?
Blair’s love life is...complicated, to say the least (listen, I tried to make it simple, and she wasn’t having it. This is her fault. I wanted her shipped with Oliver Queen or Ray Palmer...these things didn’t happen). Her first serious relationship was with Carmen, who she met in college, and they ended up becoming engaged. When Blair went into a coma, Carmen eventually left and moved on because she didn’t really know if Blair was going to wake up or not. After that, Blair had a fling or two, dating here and there, but nothing serious and it didn’t happen often because she’s definitely someone who throws herself into her research, and she was helping Ray build his A.T.O.M. suit. Her main love interest is Leonard Snart, though. It’s a slow build up...because you know...he’s a criminal. But they grow close after she helps save his sister, he helps Barry at Christmas with the Trickster and Weather Wizard, and even more when she joins the Legends. They talk about a future for them after taking down Vandal Savage, but that kind of goes out of the window when Leonard sacrifices himself (he really gets time scattered...like I said...complicated), and it’s the first time they kiss and she tells him she loves him. After being brainwashed by bad guys and used against the team, Leonard is brought back and they get together once his memories return. They eventually have a daughter together, Leonard giving up the crime life (for the most part at least. Barry and Team Flash are lenient) as they settle down.
4. Who do they look up to? Who do they trust?
Blair trusts her friends and team. The one person I don’t think she ever fully trusts is Rip Hunter, especially with the shit he pulls when she joins and sees how he leads. It gets worse, and she has a hard time dealing with it, it’s a terrible first impression that absolutely lasts. She looks up to Wells (Earth-2, even if they disagree from time to time), her father, and Martin Stein. Most of them are mentors to her, people that have always guided her. Martin is someone she looked up to and someone she eventually works alongside often when joining the Legends. He’s like a second father to her, and she often helps him with his relationship with his daughter, Lily.
5. Who do they hate? Do they have any enemies?
Blair doesn’t hate easily or lightly. Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Dahrk, Eobard Thawn, and Zoom are the main ones she can’t stand. Lewis Snart lowkey makes that list once she learns what he did to his children, and how he put a bomb in his own daughter to control Leonard. Rip Hunter is someone that makes her bad list, even if he was their captain at one point and is someone that the Legends work with. She doesn’t forget what he did when they were going after Vandal Savage, and she can’t bring herself to fully trust him, even if Sara and the rest of the Legends do.
6. Do they have any pets?
She does! Blair has an orange cat named Sol and a moonstone cornsnake named Luna. She loves her cat and just...loves reptiles. Felicity takes care of them when she’s away, especially when she goes on the Waverider.
7. Are they good with kids? Animals?
Absolutely! Blair loves animals, she gets excited when she sees dogs and cats, or any other pet she’s introduced to. As for kids, she is for sure. She’ll babysit for Lyla and Diggle when they need it, and she’ll do tours at Palmer Technologies on career day and S.T.A.R Labs when H.R. Wells opens the lab as a museum. She’s even done things at the planetarium when needed. Her mother is a teacher, so being around kids is something she’s used to. She’s a lot of fun, honestly. But it surprises no one that Blair is so good with kids, she’s just that kind of person.

CarterxLisa Soul Mate AU
This was written quite a few years again when Legends of Tomorrow first aired, and I came up with this random AU for Lisa Snart Appreciation Week in what if she was Hawkgirl. So here it is. Hope you enjoy!
Three beers, on the rocks please" Lisa ordered the bartender as he blatantly stared down at her breasts. Normally she would have hit the guy in the neck for that kind of thing but tonight she didn't care. She was here to forget her troubles. More specifically him. Carter Hall aka Khfu aka Hawkman aka the most annoying guy on Earth, no matter the timeline.
She had been invited by Rip Hunter to join the Legends along with her brother and Mick. They had agreed because you know, chance to steal the Hope Diamonds, parts of the Statue of Liberty, the Mona Lisa! It was an opportunity not to be missed.
Besides the original Black Canary, there was a friend of the Flash's Ray Palmer aka Atom, Firestorm who was Dr. Stein and Jax, also friends of the Flash, and then Hawkman. The source of all troubles.
Now he was hot, she could give him an 11. Chiseled cheek bones, dark hair, light brown eyes that looked at her so soulfully she felt like the only girl in the room, could earn a living being shirtless with his hard six pack. Not to mention the rippling muscles.
Then he opened his mouth and all different kinds of bullshit came out of it. He wasn't the first one to call her his soul mate. Usually she just went along with it and got a couple of drinks, showered with compliments, a decent one night stand and if he was rich enough, his wallet.
But he didn't compliment her nor did he give her drinks. Instead he starts reciting some nonsense about "I will wait across eternity for my love to come back to me"
Then he explained the whole thing. They were lovers in Egypt, she was a high priestess and he was a warrior. Vandal Savage was obsessed with her and when she refused him he killed them both and cursed them to be reincarnated over and over again and keep getting killed by him which only mad him more powerful and oh yeah, only she was able to kill him.
She laughed in his face.
I wasn't supposed to be mocking, but more of it "What kind of idiot do you think I am"
Her, reincarnated, the big hero. Puh-lease.
But he wouldn't let it go. He insisted that she had powers, that she could magically burst out wings and fly, and remember 208 versions of herself and their past lives together. She couldn't even remember what she had for dinner last night, 208 lifetimes that never happened, forget it.
At first she ignored him, but when he continued annoying her and calling her Chay-yera. She siced Leonard at him.
Which turned out to be useless because after being killed 208 times, being threatened by the robber of ATMs didn't faze him and he said that she was worth the wait so that meant he would never leave! Then the bastard had to be proven right.
She had been fighting one of Savage's mooks in the 20s when BAM she fell off the roof. She waited for the painful but hopefully quick death when suddenly she felt herself being picked up and a breeze flapping from her sides. She glanced to see two wings, and Carter was staring at her from another roof top.
Not only was she thankful that she hadn't died, but she was also very thankful that cell phones or Internet hadn't been invented yet because her reaction would have been Buzzfeed worthy for sure. She didn't not handle the idea of having wings in the middle of a fight very well.
"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!!! HELP ME HELP ME HOW DO I STOP THIS? WHY AM I FLYING! CARTER HALL WHAT EGYPTIAN MAGIC SHIT ARE YOU DOING DID YOU DO TO ME! WHAT DO I DO!! MAKE IT STOP!"
After she miraculously maneuvered herself to solid ground, the first guy who laid his hands on her got hit in the stomach. She could pinpoint what exactly happened but when Carter threw her a mace, she felt a memory stir. The reincarnation memory thing. And she started to fight on a whole new level. She used her anger to her advantage and the mace felt as easy as when she learned to handle a gun.
Carter was ridiculously pleased by this new twist. So she defiantly had powers, and he was right about one thing. He offered to train her some more.
She reluctantly accepted because if she was going to start bursting out wings more often, she would probably need to know how to use them. He then used these sessions as an excuse to talk to her and their lives together.
It was annoying and frustrating because he remembered everything so easily and she was so out of the loop. Not that she wanted to believe him but he was already right about the Hawk thing...Then when she met her son.
Another memory came back, holding him as a baby, clutching Carter and yes, she felt how much she loved him back then.
She ran back to her designated room on the Waverider as soon as the mission was over. It was getting all too real. She had powers, she was reincarnated. She couldn't wrap her mind around it. If she was reincarnated, did that mean her personality was not because how she was brought up but because she was always that way, and did this whole thing influenced any of her actions so none of what she was doing was her own free will?
Then there was the added plus of some old psycho who was hunting her down to either kill or rape her at any time.
It was even ruining her flirtations with other men at bars, because there was a slight nagging in the back of her mind. "What about your soul mate? What about your soul mate?" In a stupid sing song voice.
Len tried his best to comfort her, but he was just as lost as she was with the whole reincarnation thing. Actually she preferred to be reincarnated with Len, sure he could get annoying at times but at least she liked and trusted him.
That was the problem with Carter. She didn't like him, she didn't know him. He depended on her to regain her memories so that she could fall in love with him.
But she didn't want to. What about the now? What about her current feelings? And interests? He didn't know her. He didn't know what she had gone through in her childhood, the hurt and the pain and the venerability and self-doubt.
He just skipped past that, to some happy year in 1812 or something that was in the past. He was trying to recreate something she couldn't remember and she wanted no part in it.
"Chay-yera, I mean Lisa.. I was looking for you." Came such a familiar voice.
"What?" Lisa growled irritably.
“Can we talk?" Carter asked with those warm, hazelnut eyes. “Stop it Lisa" she told herself, "Those are crazy hazelnut eyes. Not warm at all."
“No, we cannot talk. Because I have no interest in you whatsoever and would like very much to kick you in the balls." Carter hardly seemed to notice the threat, "Can you tell me why? What am I doing wrong?"
Lisa took a gulp of her drink and breathed in, might as well jump into the mess. "Because you don't know me. Yeah, you know 208 versions. But do you know 209th? No. The 209th me went through a lot okay. Things that you probably won't understand. And it affects me a lot today, and a lot of how I think and feel. And you weren't there for it. So yeah, maybe that's why I don't like you. Because you haven't experienced my life in this century and you don't even want to learn about it because you got it stuck in your head that I'm just some beautiful, kick ass wife that you've known for a thousands of years. Well I'm not. I have scars, I curse like a sailor, I've been to jail 4 times, three of them people mistakenly thought I was a prostitute. Okay, that was disguise but still. Did your soul mate do that before? I don't think so, at least I don't remember that, you would know better. Anyway the point is, this soul mate is not like the others and you wouldn't like her."
Carter let a low whistle. "That was something.”
Lisa sighed, "I'm a little drunk"
“You're wrong though. I do think I'll still love you." Carter said.
“Yeah right" Lisa mumbled.
“I would. Here, know what. Tell me all about your childhood, and I'll tell you mine. No talk about past lives or anything. I promise." Lisa stared at him, trying to figure out whether he was truly being sincere or just getting into her good graces and wouldn't listen to a word that came out of her mouth.
He sat on a stool, staring at her and waited patiently for her to begin. Those eyes staring at her again. They really did make her feel special. Just the warmth and love radiating out of them. It was not like anything she expected before.
She took in a deep breath. The only other person she had told about her father was Team Flash and even them she didn't quite into depth. But she spilled her heart out to him that night.
She told him, the fear she felt during the heist she did with her dad, the panic when he was drinking, the absolute pain and years of brainwashing as he convinced her that she was worthless. It affected so much of her love life.
Why she didn't stick around with most guys, she never thought they would stay. The first time someone said he was proud of her was from Lenny after she showed him the first A she got in Math in kindergarten. She stood by him ever since. She told about her high school years, her dad's death, finding out the truth behind her mother's death, her first heists, Leonard's death threats against her dates, her slight crush on Mick when she was a teenager, how she got her gold gun.
Carter was surprisingly thoughtful and offered insightful comments and murmurs of sympathy and didn't pressure her to continue when she felt herself start to get teary.
In return, he told her his childhood in California, his parents, his younger brother, surfing, getting addicted to heroin, rehab, volunteer work with children.
She was pleasantly surprised to find out they had a few things in common in this life time, such as favorite drinks (mimosas), favorite movies (Great Gatsby although for different reasons) and he wanted to be a professional motorcycle racer when he was younger and he had been raised to use a gun since he was 7.
"My dad was a gun shop owner. It was sorta required knowledge on how to load and unload, clean and use a gun. Carted them though out the shop for my job." He stared at her, "What?" "Get it? Carted, Carter.”
"That was so lame"  Lisa playfully groaned. But she smiled, she could get use to this guy.  ——————————————————————————————————————————Six Months later, the Legends were leaving a small wedding chapel in the hills of Naples, Italy.
Lisa had come up with the brilliant idea after she had gotten her memory of the 208th version of her last night.
She was fully aware of who was, who he had been and what they shared together. So she wanted to get married. It helped that they had gotten along pretty well too.
They had started dating again, shortly after that fateful talk. The made an agreement that they would only discuss past lives, if 1) During mission, 2) They have a flashback or 3) Some training motivation.
Besides that they were completely in the now, and it had worked out well. She had fallen in love with him as Carter Hall, not Khufu or Hannibal. Just him.
She proposed to him shortly after the idea, and he jumped on the chance. Both Rip and Leonard watched over them like anxious hens, constantly asking if they were sure about this.
It took a long time for Leonard to get along with the idea that his baby sister was a reincarnated hawk warrior that wanted to get married.
The rest of the Team were very supportive and Sara had eagerly jumped on the chance to help Carter buy a new anniversary gift knife with a gilded jewel handle with golden in-lining in honor of her current alias.
Carter carried her to their room, in the Waverider and stripped off his shirt. Lisa wolf-whistled appreciatively.
"What do you say? Do I look better shirtless with tux pants or shirtless with board shorts?" Carter asked, posing. “Tux pants. Definitely" Lisa licked her lips and slipped out of her gold wedding gown.
"Mmm, Lisa," Carter wrapped his arms around her "Call me Chay-yera, Khfu" Lisa smiled as Carter stopped to look at her. "Okay, Chay-yera why the change of heart?"
"I'm marrying you because I love you. The current you and past you. I'm ready to embrace it all. Give it my all.”
"You always did put everything into whatever you loved" Carter smiled.
"I love you,” Lisa smiled, "And I expect you to put in your all tonight too...." She gave a seductive grin "I mean you've had centuries of practice so I expect this to be good.”
"The hot springs in Tibet good or the Conquistadors might come day now good?” Carter questioned with a wicked glint entering his eye.
"Hot springs duh." Lisa kissed him.

CaptainCanary fic: With Eyes Wide Open, ch. 4 of ?
In a world where Rip Hunter never formed the Legends, Leonard Snart is trying to mend his ways and work with Team Flash, though sometimes it's easier than others. Meanwhile, Sara Lance is gradually dealing with the blood lust left behind by the Pit and trying to get used to being a hero again herself. When they encounter each other one day in Central City, it seems like a match that just might be meant to be.
But nothing with these two is ever easy.
*
Note: This is an unplanned pregnancy fic. So if you’re not fond of that trope, be warned.
Many thanks to Pir8rl and SylvanHeather!

It must have been the sheer amount of feelings going around, because despite all the stress and uncertainty of the past few days, Leonard falls asleep nearly immediately that night and sleeps well.
That might, he thinks in the morning, also have something to do with Sara’s returned presence. She curls up next to him and falls asleep even before he does, but she’s still there, warm and real and not leaving, after all.
He’s become…accustomed…to this. To sharing his life with someone, someone knows so much about him and doesn’t care about the crap in his past. The sex is great, yeah—he sure as hell doesn’t want to dispense with that--but it’s more than that.
It’s having someone he can be honest with about that crap, about the weirdness that is his life…both their lives…someone who gets it.
Someone who knows it but won’t leave.
Unlike Mick.
It isn’t the same, but in some ways, it is, and Leonard flinches away from the thoughts again.
He lets out a breath, that next morning, trying to distract himself, looking around the apartment and realizing that things will need to change. It’s been a long time since Lisa was little, and he’d been nearly a kid himself then. What do people figure babies need, now days?
A crib. They’ll need a crib. A changing table, that’s probably not a necessity. And…
Leonard hears Sara emerge from the bathroom behind him, and he turns to see her standing there, still drying her hair, watching him. He waves a hand at the rest of the apartment awkwardly, uncertain how much to get into his thoughts right now.
“So, uh, how long do we have?” he asks. “Nine months? To get things…ready?”
Sara frowns a little, but it’s not directed at him. She puts the towel down, looking thoughtful.
“It doesn’t work quite like that,” she says slowly. “I think. They sort of…postdate it…from what I know.” She shakes her head. “Which isn’t much. About eight maybe? I think?”
Sara sighs, then, meeting his eyes and giving him a rueful smile. “I need to call Caitlin. She said she’d get me in to see an ob/gyn friend of hers. Might as well be here instead of Star.” She shrugs. “I…I really don’t know what I’m doing, here.” She looks down at herself, in skimpy sleep shorts and T-shirt, no sign of what’s to come yet. “Sorry.”
“Hey.” Leonard saunters toward her, reaching out to put his hands on her shoulders. “Like I do? Though I mean….hell, I kinda already did my part…”
He layers innuendo into his tone, hoping to see her smile, and he’s not disappointed. Sara rolls her eyes at him, but she does grin, eyes sparkling, looping her arms around his neck.
“Well,” she says smoothly as Leonard transfers his hands to her hips. “I suppose you did.” She tilts her head as if considering. “All…what…a minute’s worth?”
That startles a laugh out of him, too. “Hey…” He leans down, nose brushing hers, smiling as she looks up at him. “That’s not fair. Did I ever not…take my time…with you?”
His voice is a purr, and he can see her pupils dilate at the memories. Sara licks her lips, then smirks, going up on her toes so that they’re nearly even.
“True,” she whispers back. “You certainly did.” She pauses, studying him. “Well. One nice thing about this…situation.”
“What?”
“I can’t get any more pregnant. So…”
She hasn’t even finished speaking when he gives in to temptation, swings her up into his arms, and carries her back to the bedroom.
*
It’s early afternoon by the time they emerge again, and Sara can’t regret it. She showers again—turning down Leonard’s offer to join her, lest they be delayed yet again—then dresses and makes herself some more weak tea while he gets ready.
When Leonard emerges—abstaining from his usual coffee, which makes her smile a little—he joins her while they eat a very late breakfast in companionable silence. Then he carries the dishes to the sink, returning to sit across from her at the counter, and they consider each other, knowing that more serious talk needs to happen.
“So...Snow knows?” Leonard asks finally. He looks down into his glass of orange juice. “Iris, I imagine, too. And your sister.”
“Yeah.” Sara looks thoughtful. “I need to, um, see what I can do,” she says, before he can ask his next question. “I mean, can I keep fighting with Team Flash? Can I do some things and not others? Should I have Felicity start teaching me more about being the computer geek of the team?”
Her eyes widen then, despite herself. “Oh my god, Felicity’s reaction,” she says with a gulp. “And Ollie’s!”
Leonard snorts. He’s certainly encountered Oliver Queen before, since he started working with Barry, Sara knows, and he knows who the man is. In more ways than one.
“ ‘Ollie’ will deal,” he mutters.
After a pause, Sara flashes him an impish smile. “I’m sure he will,” she says. “Not really worried about him.” She tilts her head and considers him. “Who…who do you need to tell?”
His eyes flicker. “I’ll want to tell Lisa before she hears it from anyone else,” he says quietly. “And…” A lengthy pause. “Not really anyone…else.”
Sara knows perfectly well there’s more there than he’s saying. But she lets that go…for now. “I need to tell my parents,” she says quietly, watching as Leonard winces. Well, honestly, she’s not looking forward to telling her dad either…and she can only imagine how he feels.
“Laurel said she’d help,” she volunteers after a moment. “With Dad, I mean.”
Leonard gives her a rueful smile. “I need to meet Laurel.”
“You do,” Sara acknowledges. “You definitely do.” With a sigh, she gets up, stretching and reaching for her phone. “OK. Calling Cait now.” She smirks a little as Leonard hastily heads toward the bedroom. “C’mon, we’re not going to be talking about...oh, the gory details right now. And you’re going to probably have to get used to some of that anyway.”
“Not yet, I don’t!” The door closes behind him.
*
Sara’s still smiling, maybe about his rejoinder, when Leonard cautiously emerges a bit later, having taken the time to tidy up the room and go through some things. But there’s something nervous in it, too, which he quickly learns is because Caitlin’s friend had a cancelation later that very afternoon. And as a favor, she’d fit Sara into it.
“Do you want me to go along?” he asks tentatively. Prospective fathers do that now, right?
But Sara shakes her head. “Let’s get past this...and then see,” she says with a sigh. “Cait says it shouldn’t be anything more than...than verification and then lots of talking.”
Yeeahhhh, not the sort of thing he really wants...or needs...to be part of. “Still. If you need anything...”
“I’ll ask. Promise.” She still looks unnerved, but she smiles at him too. “I’m leaving now, actually. Cait and Iris are taking me out for...well, I guess we’re not really doing coffee...or drinks...maybe dessert. Before the appointment.” She twists her hands together. “I think they’re trying to make sure I don’t run again."
“I can’t say I mind them doing that.” Leonard hesitates, sidling over to her. “I’m going over to STAR Labs. Does...anyone else there know?”
Sara looks a bit sheepish now. “Sorry. I forgot to ask Caitlin.” She sighs. “I’m going to presume Barry doesn’t? Because if he did, I bet everyone else on Teams Flash and Arrow...and maybe even over on Kara’s Earth...would know too, and our phones would be ringing off the hook.”
“Fair point.” He hesitates again as Sara glances up at him, feeling like he should probably do something or say something more, before sending his...his...Sara off to this first pregnancy ordeal.
But in the end, he just kisses her.
It seems to be enough.
*
Sara walks in the door of the bakery, looking around for her friends and taking a wary sniff of warm yeast- and vanilla-scented air. Fortunately, it seems that’s not something that sets her stomach off, and though the place sells coffee, it’s not the overwhelming cocoon of smell that it would be at Jitters.
Iris waves from a table back in the corner, and Sara waves back, heading that way even as she sees Caitlin move away from her perusal of the goodies at the counter and join them.
When Sara pulls out a chair and sits down, though, the other two just watch her for a moment, long enough that she looks down at herself then back up, wondering why they’re staring.
"What?” she asks irritably. “C’mon. I know I don’t look…” She lowers her voice despite herself. “…pregnant…yet!”
Iris rolls her eyes and takes a drink of her water. Caitlin sighs, long suffering.
“Sara,” she says patiently. “You vanished for a few days, then call me today, saying you’re back and could I please get you an appointment with Maggie. A prenatal one.”
Iris leans in, then. “We take it you made a decision,” she says, a bit drily. “And since you’re in Central, that Snart’s in on it now. What happened?”
Oh. Right. Sometimes it feels like Iris and Caitlin, of all of Team Flash, know what’s happening before anyone else. Sara considers, trying to get the words in order. It feels like it’s been a month instead of a few days, in some ways.
“I went back to Star,” she says, looking down at her hands as she shreds the paper wrapper off a plastic straw. “Stayed a few days with Laurel. Talked a lot.” She glances up at the avid faces watching her. “Yes, she knows. And then...you were right, Iris, I wanted Leonard to know, too.”
Iris gives her a “well, duh” kind of look, but Sara plows on. “We’re, um. Going to do this,” she says with a deep breath, studying her friends’ faces. “I know maybe it sounds like…like a bad idea, but we agreed. Both of us.”
Iris’ eyes widen. Caitlin actually claps a hand over her mouth, like she has to hold the words in. Sara bites her lip, wondering if they really think it’s that bad an idea, but then a slow smile spreads over Iris’ face, and Caitlin emits a quiet…well, it might be a squeal if it was less contained.
“Oh my god,” she says, leaning across the table. “Are you getting married?”
Sara blinks at that. “What? No.” She shakes her head, a little bemused. “I mean...not now. We haven’t talked about that. There’s enough going on.”
Caitlin starts to ask another question, but Iris cuts in, holding up a hand and getting to her feet.
“OK, we need sweets before this continues,” she commands. “Sara, it’s my treat. The flourless chocolate cake and the pumpkin torte are both amazing. What sounds good to baby?”
Sara has to chuckle at that, but she joins them both at the pastry counter, finally selecting a piece of the torte, which is stuffed with cream cheese frosting, cinnamon, and walnuts. When they sit back down, desserts in hand, it’s quiet for a bit while they all industriously ingest sugar.
Finally, Sara clears her throat, looking up cautiously. “Did either of you tell anyone?” she asks carefully. “I know I didn’t say not to, but…”
Iris snorts, fork still full of chocolate deliciousness.  “Oh, hell no,” she says, pausing just a moment to take a bite. “Can you imagine Barry? He can’t keep a secret to save his life.”
Sara laughs, looks down at the remains of her own dessert. “I figured. Still…we’re just trying to plan things out. This is all still so weird.” She glances over at the third member of their party, then pauses.
Caitlin is looking down very intently at her mostly empty plate, pushing a few crumbs around with her fork. Then she glances up…and there’s guilt in her gaze.
Iris calls it. “You told Wells,” she says with a sigh, sitting her fork down. “Seriously?”
Caitlin looks a little embarrassed. “Well, he’s a dad, right?” she asks, looking back and forth between them. “And Snart actually gets along with him, and maybe they could talk.” She sighs, then. “And…well, he could tell I was distracted by something. So, I kind of had to clarify. Before he guessed.”
Sara lifts an eyebrow at her, more amused than anything else, but Cait just looks down at her plate, caught up in her own thoughts.
“When I told him, he thought I was pregnant at first,” she says with a half-hearted laugh. “I thought he was going to faint. Or hit someone. But it’s not like I’m even seeing anyone.” She looks up, back and forth at Iris and Sara. “What?”
Caitlin and her blind spot concerning Wells is not Sara’s problem right now. “Right,” she says quickly. “Right. Um…” She shrugs. “Well, it’s not like he’s going to tell anyone. He’s not exactly Mr. People Person.”
Caitlin bristles a little but doesn’t argue. Instead, she just sighs, nodding. “Are you going to wait?” she asks. “To tell people? Many people do, to the end of the first trimester.”
Sara considers, feeling a little uncertain. She doesn’t even know when that is, not yet. “Um. Maybe? I need to see…what kind of changes I need to make, I guess.” She picks a walnut off her plate, popping it in her mouth. “If I can’t go out kicking ass for a while, I’ll have to tell Barry and Cisco. And we’ve already decided we should…tell family, sooner.”
Iris groans. “Good luck with that,” she says, leaning back in her chair. “Does your dad even know? About Leonard?”
“No.” Sara shrugs, trying to look more nonchalant than she feels. “It’ll be OK. I’m a grownup.”
“Uh huh.”
Sara ignores the knowing tone. “And Leonard wants to tell his sister before anyone else can.” She hesitates, looking back and forth between her friends. “I’ve had the impression she’s not that happy about…us…already.”
Caitlin gives her a rueful smile. “I don’t know, really,” she admits. “Lisa hasn’t been around much lately. Cisco’s been either mopey about it or full of that sort of forced cheer he has when he’s pretending not to be.” She waves her fork uncertainly. “She’s seemed to fit in pretty well, since Snart joined Team Flash and she tagged along, but she’s never wanted to be part of the group as much as he is.” She tilts her head to the side. “As strange as that sounds.”
Sara makes a thoughtful noise, but Iris leans forward then, lowering her voice.
“You know about…what Snart’s dad did, right?” she says quietly. “To Lisa. I mean, right before he…died.”
Right before Leonard killed him, Sara thinks. But she also nods. “The bomb? Yeah.”
Iris nods. “Heaven knows I’ve always been…skeptical…about the Snarts,” she admits. “In fact, I kind of regret some of what I said about Leonard, once. But he’s more than proven that he means to…to change his spots, to use Dad’s phrase.” Her smile is a little sad. “And Lisa’s always seemed to be, well, just happier since that happened.  I mean, Snart snark is a constant, but it’s a little less…brittle?...now.”
Caitlin chimes in. “But…she seems worried about what this…her brother and you…means.” Her eyes are sympathetic. “I hope everything’s OK.”
“Yeah. Me too.”
*
Leonard saunters into STAR Labs with his usual nonchalance, even though he can’t deny a feeling of trepidation. Barry might come zipping out any time to try to hug him…OK, that’s always true, but he has a feeling that “Snart, you’re gonna be a dad!” hugs will be even harder to avoid.
He’s still struggling with the idea himself. He’s not ready for that.
To his definite relief, though, the only one in the cortex is Harrison Wells, who merely glances up from his computer screen, nods, and continues silently with his work. Leonard nods back, then finds a free computer himself. He’s resisted having a desk of his own…somehow, the notion reeks of the sort of confined existence he’s always fervently avoided…but this doesn’t bother him so much.
The scuttlebutt in the criminal community…which eyes him warily these days but walks the line mostly because Leonard doesn’t bother with small-time shit or small-time players—is that a new player is out there, maybe a meta. No one’s quite sure of anything else—just that they’re recruiting, and the criteria don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason. Some of his contacts are the best of the smaller-time folks, actually (and have a code much like his), and they still haven’t been able to find out more.
Notes at his side, he does some careful searches through the STAR Labs databases, but if there are connections or patterns, for once he can’t see them. Leonard scowls at the computer, then sighs, flipping his notebook (he’s old school, OK?) shut and standing, strolling toward the fridge to grab some water.
Wells glances up, then nods to him again. Leonard nods back—ah, the silent code of people who don’t like a lot of chit-chat—and continues, retrieving his drink and turning back toward the desk again.
Wells is watching him. Again. Leonard lifts an eyebrow and the other man shrugs, nonchalant, before glancing back down at his monitor.
Hmm. Nothing Leonard has ever seen has indicated that Harrison Wells plays for multiple teams—to borrow a phrase—and this doesn’t have the feeling of being checked out. Besides, Wells’ and Snow’s weird little dance around each other is pretty much the worst-kept secret of Team Flash. Except to maybe Ramon.
Leonard gets along with Wells. They share a certain acerbic outlook, and they’re both a bit older than the usual run of hero in this place. Sure, he’s from Earth-2 and he has…
Ah.
“You know,” he says bluntly, watching the scientist, who looks back up at him abruptly. It’s a statement, not a question. “What’s…going on.” He still can’t quite bring himself to say the words here, out in the open. “With Sara. And, ah, me.”
Wells eyes him and then sighs. He takes off his glasses and rubs his forehead in a habitual gesture, then replaces them and looks back at Leonard, inclining his head.
“I do,” he acknowledges. “Snow…something was clearly distracting her the other day.” He pauses. “I just offered a…sympathetic ear.”
Leonard snorts despite himself. “Uh huh.” He folds his arms and studies the other man, torn between actually having someone reasonable to talk to about the situation and prodding Wells for the sheer amusement factor of it. The former, for the moment, wins.
“I…” he says carefully, glancing away, hating himself for the weakness. “Your kid. Jessie. Were you surprised?”
He’s met Jessie Wells a few times, and he has a pretty good idea how much she means to her father. He’s seen the two together and while he knows they’ve had their bumps, the affection between the two is clear.
Here and now, Wells looks briefly startled, then chuckles.
“No,” he says, giving Leonard a little more of his focus. “No, Jessie was planned. More or less.” He looks amused. “Although I don’t think there’s a baby in the world who isn’t something of a surprise, in the details at least. It’s never quite like you’ll think it’ll be.” His smile is brief but genuine. “So, don’t hold onto any preconceived notions. If you have any.”
Leonard’s flicker of amusement is no less genuine.
“Can’t say that I really do,” he admits, leaning on the desk. “I…” He can’t remember what Wells might know about Lewis. “I didn’t really have much of any example.”
Something dark flashes through Wells’ eyes. “I’ve heard,” he responds tersely, tapping a pen against the desk. “For the record, in the end, you were probably kinder than I would have been.” He shrugs at Leonard’s nonplussed expression. “Freezing, presumably, is at least quick.”
Ah. “Presumably.” They share a look of understanding and then Leonard sighs, straightening to go back to his research.
“Thanks,” he murmurs quietly, unwilling to admit to anything more.
“Welcome.” Wells is equally terse…but then he speaks up again as Leonard turns away. “Snart.”
Leonard glances back. The other man is staring at his computer screen, but he’s still tapping his pen against the desk distractedly.
“Do you love her?” he asks quietly. “Sara?”
Leonard stills. It’s not a word he’s spoken with Sara. It really hasn’t even been that long that they’ve been together, and if not for a…a certain surprise…who knows if he’d ever be able to bring himself to say it, or even really think it.
But the first response he has to Wells’ question is a sudden, instinctive yes.
But it doesn’t seem right to acknowledge it to anyone else first. So, while he starts to speak, he stops…and after a moment, the other man nods in understanding.
“Then just remember that,” he says softly. “It will mean a lot.”
*
Leonard’s already back at the apartment when Sara arrives, though he calls out a rather distracted “just a sec” from the bedroom instead of immediately emerging.
That’s fine with her. Sara drops onto the couch with a sigh, leaning back and closing her eyes, still digesting her experience at the doctor’s office. It wasn’t like things hadn’t seemed real before, but...well, they seem realer now.
After a moment, she hears Leonard emerge, feels him settle himself at the other end of the couch, senses how he’s watching her. But he waits for her to be ready instead of pressing her, and she realizes how very, very grateful she is for that.
Finally, Sara opens her eyes and regards him, giving him a faint smile and seeing him relax just a hair when she does.
“Well,” she says with a sigh. “I’m very definitely pregnant.” She glances down at herself, through there’s still no outward sign of anything. Well, OK, certain portions of anatomy are a little bigger, maybe, but it’s not like she’s measured. “Um. She thinks probably six or seven weeks, though the technical estimate would be nine. But that really doesn’t work because my...my cycle’s just weird...and there’s not really any telling exactly when it, um, happened.”
Sara looks up at him then, registering the still, listening expression on his face. “So, we’re going with six or seven, based on, well, a number of things.” She puts a hand on her stomach despite herself. “So, about the size of a pea. Or a blueberry. Somewhere in there. It’s always weird they use food analogies for this stuff, isn’t it?”
As she glances at Leonard again, she sees the shadow of a smile on his face and sighs. “I’m babbling, aren’t I?” she says, resting her head back against the couch. “Sorry. It’s a bit...overwhelming.”
“It’s OK,” is the quiet response. “Due date?”
“Uh, end of May. Ish.” Sara sighs again. “She didn’t want to give me anything more concrete until kiddo’s a bit bigger and they can get measurements.”
Kiddo. The word hangs over all the more practical stuff. They’re having a kid. She has their kid—or what will be their kid—inside her. Sara swallows, hard—and then gets up and bolts for the bathroom.
As she pulls the door shut behind her, she hears Leonard following. “You OK?” he asks carefully.
“Yeah.”
Mercifully, he leaves it at that. And he’s in the kitchen when she emerges, watching a kettle of water on the stove, setting up a mug with a tea bag in it on the counter.
“Mint tea?” Leonard asks, glancing over his shoulder. “It...might help. With nausea.”
It’s so unexpected and sweet that Sara’s raging emotions have tears welling up in her eyes before she can try to stop them. She dashes them away, then nods.
“Sure,” she says, taking a seat at the kitchen bar and watching him. “That, um, wasn’t what it was, though. It wasn’t nausea. This time.” If he’s really going to be doing this, he’s going to have to know some gory details after all, so she recklessly continues. “I didn’t think it’d be a thing yet, but I sort of have to pee all the time. The doctor—Maggie Saitō, I liked her—said that was normal too.”
Leonard blinks at her, but that’s all. He turns to grab the kettle, then pours some steaming water into her mug, making himself a cup as well before returning it.
Sara shakes her head, amused. “How are you managing to stay so calm?” she asks, dunking her tea bag and inhaling the smell of peppermint. “I feel like...like...I don’t know. Like my whole life’s been turned on its head.”
Leonard smiles a little, also studying his tea. Then he glances up at her, eyes dark and serious.
“I’m not really,” he admits. “All that calm. But the decision’s made, and we’ll do the best we can.” He pauses. “Unless...you want to change it.”
His tone’s hard to read. Sara nibbles her lip, considering him. Is he hoping she’ll change her mind?
“No,” she says definitively. “No, I don’t want to change it.”
Dr. Saitō, startled by the scars on Sara's abdomen and back, had insisted on doing an early ultrasound to make sure things were...intact enough, inside her...to carry a baby. She’d seemed rather surprised when they were. The Pit had apparently done its work well, though Sara had had to prevaricate a little to keep the doctor from asking more questions about how the wounds had happened and how they’d mended.
No, Sara definitely wants to take this chance while she has it.
“I'm glad,” Leonard murmurs, then throws another question at her. “And training? Fighting?”
Sara allows herself to be distracted. A little. “I can keep training to some extent. And run the classes I started at the community center, at least for a while,” she tells him, sipping the tea. “I kind of...danced around exactly what it is I do...but eventually I just had to ask about combat.” She sighs. “And got a flat ‘no.’”
Leonard gives her a commiserating look. “Not a real surprise.”
“No, but...well, not close quarters anyway.” Sara considers. “I need to do some research, but I think I’m going to get my archery equipment out. I’m rusty, but I’m sure I can get the skills back with practice.”
Leonard looks intrigued, but she can see him swallow his questions. Instead, he merely nods, finishes his tea and washes the mug, then glances at her again.
“What next?” he asks quietly.
“She wants me back in a month, as long as the rest of my bloodwork is good, just to check on things.” Sara finishes her own tea, watching as Leonard takes her mug, too. “And she asked about the dad...you. Said she’d like a family medical history when possible. Just in case?”
They’ve known each other well enough to have created a baby—well, an embryo that will be a baby—so why does it seems so awkward to ask that...to call him that? But Leonard merely nods in response to the words.
“I can do that,” he says. “To some extent, anyway. Lewis wasn’t exactly forthcoming on the family side of things and my mom...well.” He glances away, then back at her. Sara tries not to look wildly curious and probably fails, and they stare at each other for a moment longer before they both look away.
“So,” Leonard says finally, the single syllable drawing out. “Guess we should...tell some people, now.”
Sara nods, relieved at the semi-change of topic. “I’m going to talk to Laurel about going to dinner with Dad or something,” she tells him. “I’ll handle my mom myself. She’s pretty unflappable.” She studies Leonard’s profile, thinking about what Iris and Caitlin had earlier. “And you should tell your sister. Up to you if you want me to be there, too.”
Leonard glances back at her, and she’s pretty sure she can see gratitude and concern both in his gaze.
“I think...let me do this on my own,” he says slowly. “Then...we’ll go from there.”
Let me know if you need me, Sara thinks.
But she says, simply, “OK.”
*
It proves more difficult than Leonard had expected to track his sister down. She doesn’t answer her phone—probably just as well, because she’d know something was up if he called and said he wanted to get together; they just don’t work like that. Ramon admits that he hasn’t seen her in a while, and the other members of Team Flash concur.
Leonard goes to her apartment, a place she’d secured near the University District after they’d been given their pardons and started working with STAR Labs, but he doesn’t have a key yet, and he can only loiter around outside for so long before the neighbors might start giving him funny looks. So, in the end, he doesn’t stay long at all, heading instead for the CC Jitters nearby and setting up camp there instead.
Lisa does like her coffee—especially the Golden Glider latte (complete with sparkly gold sugar) that’s been added to the menu along with the Captain Cold Brew. (Barry had giggled about that for a week.) Leonard, ensconced comfortably in a chair with a view of the counter, wonders if he can suggest a White Canary drink without any actual coffee so that Sara can try one. Maybe some sort of tea latte or something.
He’s still mulling over that when he sees his sister.
She looks happy, actually. Relaxed and smiling, a backpack slung over her shoulder, flirting casually with the pretty barista in the way that’s second nature for her. Leonard smiles, leaning back into the confines of his armchair so she doesn’t see him, watching. It’s good to see, in more ways than one, but it does make him wonder why she’s been so weird around him lately...and what she’s been up to.
When Lisa turns away, coffee in hand, Leonard waits just a moment before getting up and following her toward the door. He catches her just a moment after she leaves the café, hurrying his steps to pull alongside her as she walks to the intersection.
He’s smart enough, though, to make sure she sees him before he says anything. Lisa has the same hard-won instincts he does, damn Lewis to hell.
Her eyes widen when she does see him approaching as she waits for a light, and the smile goes away. Leonard tries not to let that hurt. Much.
“Lise,” he says tersely, stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Got something I need to talk to you about.” He pauses. “You haven’t answered your phone.”
Lisa shrugs, watching the light turn. “I’ve been busy. And I’m in a hurry, Lenny,” she says, just as tersely, crossing the street with alacrity, without waiting for him at all. “So talk fast.”
OK, then. He’d rather do this a different way, but...
Leonard does wait until they’ve both crossed the street, following his sister into the park there, going farther into the district. He wonders briefly where she’s heading, but there are other things on his mind right now, and as she slows just a little to look at him again, he blurts it out.
“Sara’s pregnant.”
Lisa stops in her tracks, there in the green space in the center of the park.
Then she looks at him. Eyes wide.
“Yeah, it’s mine,” Leonard barrels on, just trying to get the words out there for once. “And we’re gonna have it. Well, she is, but I’m going to…help.”
For a long moment, Lisa just stares at him, shock in her expression. And for that moment, Leonard actually has a rather foolish chance to hope.
Maybe his sister won’t take this the way he fears she will. Maybe he’ll have a chance to explain to her, how and why Sara and he had made this choice together. Maybe she’ll actually be happy. For him. Hell, for them. Not just Sara, but this is part of Lisa’s family too; it’s always been so small.
But then she takes a step back, still staring, and there’s nothing of happiness on her face.
“How could you?” she whispers, the words barely audible despite the relative quiet of the area.
Leonard’s eyes narrow despite himself. Lisa doesn’t seem to notice, though, and from her expression, her disbelief is quickly turning to anger.
“How could you?” she repeats then, taking a step forward. “You know what that bastard did to us! How could you pass it on to a new generation?”
“It’s not going to be that way,” Leonard retorts, stung. How dare she think he’d be anything like Lewis? Especially when it comes to this?
His hands clench into fists at his sides, and Lisa notices that. She laughs a little wildly, dropping her bag, whatever goal she’d been walking toward so hurriedly apparently forgotten for the moment.
“Sure it isn’t,” she says, scoffing. “You can say that all you want, but what happens when…when…” She waves a hand. “When something goes south, and you lose your temper? I mean, what other kind of example did you have, right? Why do you think you’ll be different, when it comes down to it?"
Leonard blinks at her in disbelief.
“Listen to me,” he says fiercely, angry and troubled and quietly, intensely wounded by her words. “I will never hurt a child of mine. I will never hurt his mother. I am not Lewis.”
Lisa looks back, and he’s startled to see tears in her eyes. It’s been years since he’s seen her cry—Lewis’ reaction to any sort of “whining” had been brutal, and Leonard hadn’t been able to protect her all the time.
The realization just makes him tenser, but Lisa’s next words largely defuse that.
“I know,” she says quietly, wiping at her eyes. “I know you’re not. But, Lenny...I...I like how my life is now. I like that I don’t have to live in safe houses or off the grid. I like that I’m...doing something different, learning new things.”
She shakes her head as he wonders just what she means. “But you...you’re just being...selfish.”
That’s not even remotely what Leonard had been expecting. “Selfish?”
Lisa shrugs, picking up her bag. “What else would you call it?” she asks wearily. “You’re so busy trying to pretend you’re something that you’re not that you’d even take it to this level.”
Leonard digests that, realizing something of what she’s getting at. “You think I’m going to...revert,” he says carefully. “Go back to being a criminal.”
Lisa gives him a sad smile. “I think you’re playing a game because you’re bored,” she says with a sigh. “I know you, Lenny. Eventually you’ll get bored of this, too. They’ll be some sort of new jewelry exhibit in town or somewhere else, the sort of project you can’t refuse, and that’ll be that.”
Her expression is both defiant and so very, very tired as he stares at her. “And it wasn’t a big deal at first,” she says. “I figured I could start over too, build my own life before it happened.”
Lisa shakes her head again. “But now it is,” she adds. “It’s a really big deal, and it’s going to hurt people. This Sara, and your kid, and that will bring other people into it. And they’ll remember who I really am, too, and this stupid little hope I had...it will all be over.”
And with that, she gives him one more long look, then turns and walks away.
Leonard, still stunned, watches her go.
And he can’t help, despite everything, wondering if she’s right.

History
Lisa Snart was frequently viewed as the tag-a-long sister of Leonard Snart and Sam Scudder's girlfriend in the early days of the Rogues. When the Rogues decided they had enough of being technologically reliant on their devices, the Rogues worked with Dr. Darwin Elias to rewrite their weapon's powers into their own DNA. However, during the experiment Lisa Snart was caught in the explosion that gave everyone their powers.
Lisa Snart's physical body was dying from a brain tumor as the medical facility was unable to operate on her due to a city-wide blackout. She survived after power was restored and the tumor was removed, but she expressed shame over her brother's actions.
Later, Lisa appeared in astral form in Guatemala going by the name of "Glider". She recruited Weather Wizard as she had began creating her version of the Rogues. She later recruited Heat Wave, Turbine, The Trickster, and Mirror Master to join her faction to extract revenge on Flash.
She appeared during a presentation of Dr. Elias and implanted a metal shard from the explosion that maimed her and gave the Rogues' their powers. She attempted to steal his monorail and destroy his research and reputation. The arrival of Pied Piper and Captain Cold added complications to her plan. Additionally, the sudden arrival of Gorilla Grodd and his troops cause Lisa to relinquish control of the Rogues back to Cold to defeat them.
Later, Lisa and Sam spent the evening discussing wanting to touch each other once again as the rest of the Rogues celebrated. Later they devised a plan to free Sam from the Mirror World. As Lisa attempted to pull Sam from the Mirror World using her astral form, something went wrong and Lisa suffered heart palpitations. She lost control of her astral form but successfully freed Sam from the Mirror World. Her brother lamented the decision as her body remains in a hospital with her astral form unable to be return.
During the Forever Evil reign of the Crime Syndicate, the Rogues were tasked with destroying Central City, including Lisa's hospital. Captain Cold refused, and the Rogues rebelled against the Syndicate. During the battle, Cold's powers were stolen and Sam's control of mirrors became erratic, causing the Rogues to become separated from Captain Cold and Lisa. The Syndicate put a bounty out for the Rogues, who were trying to make their way back to Lisa, but the Royal Flush Gang captured her. While Sam was contemplating his ability to lead the Rogues, he reminisced about when he and Lisa had applied for a marriage licence. As the Rogues fought the Syndicate and their goons, Pied Piper joined them. His music awoke Lisa's astral form, allowing Glider to return and come up with a plan to defeat the Syndicate in Central City. With Glider's return Scudder regained control over his abilities. He created a giant mirror, and Weather Wizard blew the villains into it. Glider shifted her allies into the astral plane to prevent them from being pushed into the mirror, then Trickster shattered the mirror.
After the Flash was deemed a menace, the Rogues were hired to apprehend him. Trickster, however, betrayed the Rogues to the Riddler, who wanted to defeat the Flash and rule Central City. Riddler weaponized Trickster's hand to take out Glider by dispersing her astral form. The Flash reconfigured the hand in order to restore Glider's astral form, but ended up not only restoring Lisa's astral abilities, but also waking her from the coma. The Rogues, reunited, then saved Heat Wave and helped the Flash defeat Riddler.

Summary:
Sara's idea of justice had always been kind of radical, just what Damien Darhk was looking for in a second. The Canary was deadly, efficient and loyal to the man who pulled her out of the darkness. Everything was perfect, her life not exactly as she planned but better than her prospects after she'd made one mistake too many. And then the Flash happened; he and his team ruining everything she had built for herself. She was imprisoned and put out of mind, that is until the newbie superhero realized he wasn't cut out to play judge, jury and warden.
The minute Sara laid eyes on the cocky, goggled face of one Leonard Snart, she knew he was going to be trouble. There was nothing Sara loved more than trouble.
Earth 17: Partners in Crime Continued from Captain Canary and The Multiverse Vol. 1 New material begins at Chapter four

the loveliest angels make the cruelest demons.
 — ✧ that looks like ROSALIND SNART! they’re the TWENTY SIX YEAR OLD DAUGHTER of GOLDEN GLIDER. [ they are also a SKATEWORLD ROLLER RINK EMPLOYEE. ] i hear they’re INSIGHTFUL & TACTILE, but tend to be MANIPULATIVE & SARCASTIC. her file says that her power is ASTRAL PROJECTION & INTANGIBILITY.
stats.
pinterest.
some people’s stories are written before they are born:    sometimes, being born on the wrong side of the track can feel like a noose around the neck, not yet tightened.
your father is never in the question; it could be anyone. you had your money bet on another rogue, but every time you asked your mother, she’d simply reply with a side smile and a half shrug.   she’d always say,    ‘ fathers aren’t worth the trouble. ‘      you just nodded your head.
lisa tried to be a good mother ;    loving her daughter dearly, doing whatever she could to protect her pride and joy.      to give golden haired rosalind the childhood that had been robbed from her.   unfortunately,    as a super villain -- that was easier said than done. lisa tried to go straight for a while, but the duo struggled to keep their head above waters, and the more lisa began to dabble in thievery, crookery, and straight up villainy, the more she learnt if you loved something you have to let it go. and sometimes, that constitutes putting your kid in the foster system.      or, she was partially.               it was an initial attempt to give rosalind a better life; a different family name;   it lasted roughly a year in the foster home, occasional visits from her mother every now and again to check up, occasionally having other parents come to see her to see if she would fit. but every time a whisper of a name. a statement would be exchanged;    a  side eye glance and a sorry expression as the parents moved on for a less ‘troublesome’ canidate.
the last ditch effort ; sending rosalind to gotham academy.  if she couldn’t get a new shot at life, away from all the villainy,   than she may as well get a good education.   she got more than that; good friends, a backbone to her voice, as well as finding out how athletically gifted she was.
people dubbed her ‘the golden girl.’ though, she mostly thought they were just mocking her mom.  perhaps not straight 4.0 level, but golden hair, shimmering smile, and also the star of the lacrosse team and ice skating champion.    she was still a snart; but she actually had a future ahead of her. of an olympic athlete, or at least, someone who may be able to keep their head above the water.
friendly; lovely; wouldn’t hurt a fly unless adequately provoked; they got her far in life, a lot of connections, a lot of friends.    they didn’t get her that far in court however.  if anyone questions rosalind anything about ‘ the incident ‘ she is adamant that it wasn’t her ; that she wasn’t even near a bank, that she had a perfectly valid alibi, the facts didn’t add up on anyone’s side, but once you have a name on your back, it might as well be a target. a name was whispered, a theory was suggested, and it spread like wildfire through the audience that of course golden glider’s kid would be responsible. because villainy? it’s genetic. absolutely no good scientists would tell you that.  ( to this day, rosalind is still adamant the jury was bought up.  she would defend her innocence till air has forever left her lungs. )
the golden girl fallen from grace ;
once again, a name was whispered, and the gavel fell. 7 years with the chance of parol on good behaviour.   it’s a heavy sentence on a 22 years old head. and she definitely didn’t take it lying down. but with nothing she could do to fight it, she realised there was other things she could fight instead. the government. heroes and the law and justice was make believe, so if they were going to send her to jail for doing nothing ? well, then she may as well break it in that case. she managed three extra counts of robbery ( all undetected ) before finding herself behind bars. she also found herself;     or more specifically, she found the one benefit that came with her name. super powers.
what she thought was just lucid dreaming and out of body experiences ? turned out to be astral projection, with a form that only people vibrating at a high enough frequency could see. suddenly, the wimpy little angel could fall from grace, straight to slumming it with the devils.   being able to covertly see and hear everything that happened ( whilst she was sleeping, at least ) gave her enough black mail material. ( at least enough to get her on the parole board. )
it took 4 years; but she made it on parole. they gave her either the option of effective house arrest, or get set up with a job at paragon.  she took the latter, and felt almost at home at the roller rink. it just needed a little chaos.
her current status ?   :  legally, a law abiding citizen who works at the roller rink. and in actuality ?   a fledgling super villain, perhaps slightly without aim, but looking for the right people to get angry at, and a group of ragtags she can call her own rogues.
ok !!! that’s my girl rosa’s history !!! here r some bullet point tl;dr’s \
daughter of lisa snart aka. golden glider
cousin of axel snart
basically the same powers as her mum ( from prime earth !! )
she used to be the sweetest fucking angel ( always morally grey, but u know ), and now she can genuinely not give 2 shits and is just here to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. fuck the police coming straight from the underground
used to have a squad at gotham academy, which is where she started to learn to be edgy to fit in better. but she was very much ur heathers/regina george kind of ‘popular, but almost untouchable and could very much kill u’ kind of vibe. the people who seem flawless, the people that everyone wants to see crash n burn
was nikki’s cellmate ! the real ride n DIE’s
anyway WC’S!
here’s the 1 i’m submitting to the main !
ROSALIND SNART, our HALSTON SAGE fc is looking for a HIGH SCHOOL EX’s connection who looks like PLAYER’S CHOICE, who is  29-23 YEARS OLD.  you DON’T  have to contact prior to applying at ( but if u want to @ gldtarnish ). ( any gender /   idea background is your standard high school relationship/teen flick, just your standard teens trying to live through a world of gods and monsters without falling off the track. rosa broke it off just before she got falsely accused of arson, breaking and entering, and arson. went to jail without telling them, and came back the exact opposite of the golden girl sweetheart she was growing up!!  )
also looking for ( and will be submitting when i get the fucking time to write it up ) FRIEND WITH BENEFITS ( current/ within the past year ! ) just emotionally fucked people lookin to fuck n mayb do some illegal substances/shit ! ( any gender - but rosa is male leaning bi)
also lookin for another RIDE OR DIE. ( someone who knew her since she was like 20, and totally believed in her and supported her thru the trial / whether or not they like her change in character ? )
ON THAT NOTE: in general, friends or people she knew growing  up / before she went to jail.    because damn this bitch could be an entirely different person.
also criminal buddies pls come n    . . . . . . . . .. .    be evil ? get that bread ????
those r my particular  i would love these fuckn connections but also loving: friends in general hero kids who side eye the hell out of her bc bitch what the fUCK someone who is the elmo to her kermit in this one video PLEASe.  also ppl who she hates ? u got a soft kid or someone who easily gets on someone else’s nerves ? ? ? ???? bitch step the fuck up n be ready to fIGTE. and also the person that framed her is also    open   👀 if anyone ‘s    👀 👀 👀

More on DC incest ships
Thanks to all of you who chimed in to help give a more complete answer to the anon who asked about DC universe incestuous couples. It sounds like there’s really nothing that’s strictly canon and strictly incest but lots to ship.
@grandoljoe:
Hawk and Dove have some strong undertones. Hawk always protecting Dove, the pacifist. Dove reminding Hawk it’s okay to be tender. They’re one of my faves.
Tara and her brother had some undertones in the comics as well if I remember correctly.
Beast boy and Elasta-girl have a pretty Shippy adopted mother/son relationship. Especially when you see BB talk to Mento, his adopted dad.
Morgaine le Fay and Mordred have a lasting one with undertones.
None of these are canon per say, but they’re about as Shippy as the maximoffs in 616 continuity.
Anon #1:
DC? ROBINS. When 5 stepsibs have donned the same cape to work same highrisk job for their Daddy, it's ship-central ;) Damian (Wayne, bloodson of Bruce/Batman) is the current 'Robin' and pairs with Batman or with previous 'Robins'. Commonly fans ship Damian with his predecessor Tim Drake/Red Robin, who almost dated another 'Robin' Stephanie Brown/Batgirl in canon. The two oldest 'Robins', Dick Grayson/Nightwing & Jason Todd/Red Hood are the eminent ship in fanon, but any combo works tbh.
(DC-cest anon) I forgot to add: people often ship Blackfire & Starfire, the alien princess sisters in Teen Titans (retconpunchdotcom.files.wordpress.com/ 2012/08/sisterfire-love.png) but sadly because they look like Amazonian females that ship is often used as fetish fodder for creepy straight guys. I'd love more respectful fanon and more canon for them. Also for anyone into angsty sad father x son or daughter, look into Slade/Deathstroke & his son Jericho or Trigon & Rachel Roth/Raven.
Anon #2:
Re: DC couples, I don't know of any canon ones that are consentual, however Doctor Thirteen canonly had an erotic seeming dream about his daughter Traci, and Swamp Thing love interest Abby Arcane's evil uncle Anton had sex with her while he was inhabiting the body of someone else (that she was more disposed to having sex with). And of course Superman telling his cousin the only reason they can't be together is that cousin marriage isn't legal on Krypton even tho it totally is on Earth.
Anon #3:
Not big on comics either, but the relationship between Penguin and his mother on Gotham was lifted from a recent iteration of the comics. In the first half of S2 of Gotham (Rise of the Villains: Battle of the Incest Ships), I was rooting for the Cobblepots because unlike the Galavans, they seemed to love each other. A rare instance where I preferred parent/child over siblings.
I debated mentioning Penguin and his mother. Definite vibes there, which we saw at least as much in 4B with Sofia Falcone “wooing” Penguin using his memories of his mother - her recipes and stuff like that.
Anon #4:
Re: DCTV incest, don't forget about canon (married!) stepcest between Barry/Iris in The Flash, and the non-canon but reasonably popular ships between Oliver/Thea (halfcest) and Kara/Alex (stepcest).
Anon #5
Also not canon but I kinda ship Len/Lisa Snart aka Captain Cold/Golden Glider... both in the show (which kinda dropped the ball on them since Legends) and comics they're kind of the one pure thing in each other's lives, the one each knows they can count on completely.
I’m so disappointed that we didn’t get much more Len/Lisa after how good it was on The Flash at first.
Anon #6
For the DCList: It's unhealthy but James Gordon Jr. has an intense fixation on his sister Barbara Gordon. James is quite bluntly-a psychopath. In The Black Mirror he abducts Babs (there's weirdly intimate stabbing involved) and obsesses about how she's the only one to really 'see' him despite how different they are. Their interactions are everywhere in Gail Simone's run on the Nu52Batgirl- culminating in him shooting Bab's husband on their wedding day for taking away 'the only person he loves'.
Wow, I don’t remember ever hearing about this before. Sounds very suggestive. Ngl, I’m kinda into it in a messed up way. (Without knowing anything more than what’s right here.)
Anon #7
In terms of DC, some of my old submissions were DC. Like the Marvels/Shazam family. And the Captain Atom stuff. Iris and Wally in the comics are aunt and nephew and he loves her a lot(it turned out she was his adopted aunt but that was a retcon and I doubt he knew ect). The Impulse and XS stuff. The Impulse and his Mom stuff. The Max Mercury and his daughter stuff. I'm surprised someone mentioned Nightwing and not his relationship with both Bruce and Damian.
Anon #8:
are you into dc comics at all? fox’s gotham has recently given us a dysfunctional closer-than-they-should-be set of twin brothers that i’m all 😍 over
I am going to talk about these two more once I catch up on Gotham. I’m about two episodes behind. I know who you’re talking about but I’ve only seen the first episode when the other twin was introduced and not anything since then.
Anon #9:
Adding to the DC ist. There's a story from the silverage that you can find on cracked. It's easy to make fun of. Basically cat woman has a brother, at this point she'd gotten out of crime and he's trying to pull her in. Batman spends the whole time thinking he's her bf. That's a standard plot. But cracked spent the time pointing out how insane the bro comes off and into catwoman. "six insane batman villains you won't see in movies". The King of Cats.
OMG. The king of cats. That’s hilarious.

One last one! Earth-12, which is another Criminal Minds inspired one and so shhh if you figure out what episode this is based on the little bit that I’ve started to mention here:
Earth-12, Leonard decided, looked more than a bit strange. His eyes moved over the city skyline through the window on the bridge of the Waverider.
The skyscrapers were twisted, not like a screw but like someone had made the buildings out of clay, put their hand on top of them then twisted them until the buildings looked like a swirl of soft serve ice cream.
He glanced at Sara and raised an eyebrow in silent question. She glanced out the window of the bridge before looking at him and nodding in response. They didn’t say anything else as they left the bridge and headed towards Sara’s room. The moment the door closed behind them, they moved to the bed and sat next to each other, scooting back until they were leaning against the wall. Leonard’s lips twitched a bit when he saw that Sara’s feet were just barely at the edge of the bed while his dangled off. Rather than point it out, he slid his hand in to hers, tangling their fingers together the way they had back on Earth-11.
“Do we stay here or do the usual?” she asked, shifting closer.
Before he could answer, Gideon spoke up. “Excuse me, Miss Lance, Mr. Snart, but Mr. Rory and Dr. Palmer are requesting entrance. Shall I let them in or ask them to move along?”
As if that would work. Leonard knew that if Mick wanted to talk to them, he’d just drop to the floor and sit out there until they came out. He was stubborn like that. And there was no doubt that Ray would just stay to keep him company. So there was no point in telling them to leave and he knew Sara realized that as easily as he had. He glanced at her and paused when he saw that she’d been watching him, head tilted. His eyebrows lifted slightly in question and she glanced down at their hands then back up at him and he understood.
They’d been a bit more hands on (so to speak) with each other after they’d seen their Earth-11 counterparts but they hadn’t done anything as blatant as hold hands in front of the others and Sara was leaving it up to him on whether they’d let Mick and Ray in on that little fact. He couldn’t stop the rush of gratitude at being given the option and his lips twitched up in to a small smile before he leaned forward, kissing her on the forehead, something that was rapidly becoming a habit whenever they were alone.
Rubbing his thumb over hers for a few moments, he took a deep breath and nodded. “Let them in, Gideon,” he said. Sara smiled and squeezed his hand lightly as the door opened.
Mick noticed almost right away. He’d only taken a few steps in to the room before his eyes landed on their hands and his eyes lit up as he grinned, nodding at Leonard as if to say, about damn time. Rather than say anything to draw attention to them, he just pulled out Sara’s desk chair and spun it so that it was backwards before straddling it, facing them. Sara looked like she wanted to laugh as Ray checked to be sure there were no knives on the desk before he sat on it.
“So,” he said, “Mick kept bugging me about what happened on Earth-6 and—“
“You finally caved?” Leonard interrupted with a smirk.
            “He’s really persistent!”
Sara laughed. “Relax, Ray. We’re not going to kill you for telling Mick.” She glanced at Mick and he shrugged.
“I was curious,” he admitted. “Haircut said you guys were looking yourselves up on each Earth to keep from meeting your other selves and I was wondering if you’d seen any other versions of me or heard about them.”
“Earth-3,” Sara said immediately. She glanced at Leonard and he nodded. “We were in high school—“
“Whoa, at the same time?” Ray asked.
Sara nodded. “We’ve noticed that ages can vary on the different Earths. And on that one, we were in high school while Leonard’s sister was younger. She mentioned Mick so we definitely knew you on that Earth.”
“Earth-4.” Leonard didn’t elaborate because there was no way he was getting in to the fact he was the Flash on that Earth with Mick. His partner would die of laughter. “And Earth-5. We worked together on those Earths.” He smirked as he thought of Earth-5. “Sara here was a fellow Rogue on Earth-5.”
Mick grinned. “Knew you had it in you, Blondie.”
Sara laughed. “Damn right I do.” She paused. “Ray told you about Earth-6 so you know about that one.”
“Nothing on Earth-7,” Leonard said. “And Earth-8...” He paused, letting the sentence trail off as he clenched his jaw and remembered hearing that Mick had shot Sara on that Earth.
“You were dead,” Sara told him. Leonard squeezed her hand in thanks. It wasn’t technically a lie, he figured. The Leonard Snart of Earth-8 had looked like he was going to take down that version of Mick, no matter what he had to do.
“Nothing on Earth-9. But we worked together again on Earth-10,” Leonard told him. As heroes, not that Leonard was going to tell Mick that. “And nothing on Earth-11 either.”
“We hadn’t gotten around to asking Gideon about ourselves on this Earth yet,” Sara added.
“Hey, other than Earth-6,” Ray grimaced at the thought of that Earth, “did you see me on any others?”
“We worked together on Earth-8,” Sara told him. “And you were a metahuman on Earth-10. That’s been all so far.”
            Ray brightened. “Neat!”
He probably wouldn’t think it was neat if they told him about the whole being sold thing, Leonard thought, considering it. Not to mention that with a name like Killer Frost, the guy was probably considered a villain or else seriously misunderstood. Leonard discarded the idea. It’d probably be like kicking a puppy and that was a line he wasn’t crossing.
Mick studied the two of them. “I get bored exploring on my own every time. Thought you wouldn’t mind if I tagged along with you guys. At least, if my other self is there.” While Ray frowned at the words, Sara and Leonard grinned.
“Figured it out, huh?” Sara asked.
Mick grinned. “You’re not just avoiding yourselves, you’re spying on yourselves to see what you’re up to on each Earth.” His eyes ticked to their hands and they understood that he’d figured out exactly why they were doing that on each Earth.
“Yeah,” Leonard agreed. “Every single time. Except Earth-6 for obvious reasons.” He looked over at Sara in silent question. They’d kept everything they’d seen a secret though he supposed they had already started breaking that rule when they’d brought in Raymond on Earth-6. Sara had clearly come to the same conclusion since she nodded. They could shake up their routine every now and then for Mick and Ray. So Leonard nodded at Mick. “Sure,” he said. Ray punched a fist in the air in victory. “Don’t do that.”
Sara laughed when Ray shot Leonard an offended look. “Gideon,” she said. “Can you find Earth-12 Leonard Snart and see if any of us are connected to him in some way?”
“Certainly, Ms. Lance,” Gideon agreed. The silence lasted for a few minutes as Gideon gathered information, something that Leonard and Sara had gotten used to with each Earth, until Gideon spoke again, relaying what she had found out. “Earth-12 Leonard Snart is a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Earth-12’s Mick Rory and Dr. Raymond Palmer are both a part of the same team of agents as he is.”
“Ah hell,” Leonard and Mick groaned at the same time. Leonard looked pointedly at Sara as she pressed her lips together in an effort not to laugh while Ray beamed.
“What about Sara, Gideon?” Ray asked. “She’s not on the team?”
“No, Dr. Palmer. However, Earth-12’s Sara Lance and Leonard Snart have been married for nine years. They have a four year old daughter named Lisa.”
Leonard sucked in a breath, his hand instinctively tightening around Sara’s. The only time they’d seen their other selves married had been on Earth-11 and now here they were. Married again but this time with a child. A daughter.
            Lisa.
Lisa was his daughter on this Earth. Hell, she was his and Sara’s and that... He closed his eyes briefly as he remembered what Earth-11’s Sara had said.
“And, someday, Leonard Snart, I want to have kids with you. Because you’re going to be such an amazing dad and I can’t wait to see it.”
Sara squeezed his hand again and he opened his eyes and remembered what she had said to him when they were on their way back to the Waverider after getting out of their Earth-11 selves’ house.
“If I were in that exact situation? I’d say all the same things.”
As if she knew what he was thinking, Sara’s lips tilted up in to a small smile. He frowned when Gideon’s next words caused it to disappear.
“Recently, Agent Snart was admitted to the hospital. According to the report he was taken there after Lewis Snart had dropped him off in the morgue using Agent Rory’s badge. Agent Snart had multiple stab wounds and almost didn’t make it. Not long after he pulled through, Sara and Lisa Snart disappeared.”
“Oh,” Sara breathed, a look of understanding on her face. She glanced up at Leonard. “You put us in hiding.”
“That’d be my guess,” Leonard agreed, thinking of what he’d do in that situation. “He managed to get the drop on me and put me in the hospital. He used Mick’s badge and that had to be deliberate. I don’t doubt that he’d have no problem threatening my wife and daughter. And since Gideon can’t find anything other than the fact that you guys have disappeared, that means there’s nothing in any of the computers and that means I kept it incredibly secret.”
“Not even the team, you think?” Ray asked. It was Mick that shook his head.
“If the team knows anything, it’ll be who his contact is. But they won’t know the exact location. Maybe one other person will know and that’s just as a backup,” he said. “Boss wouldn’t take a chance with their lives.”
