Summary: Kara, Clark, and Barry are taken off guard by a request by the imp Mxyzptlk: watch over and protect the children of their alternate selves from a different Earth. Will our heroes rise to the occasion?

It took four minutes for Clark to get from Metropolis to Gotham. Considering how early it was, he landed at the front door instead of going through the cave. He knocked at the door and waited several minutes until Alfred answered. 

Alfred smiled and said, “Master Clark. It is nice to see you this morning. Will you be joining us for breakfast?”

Clark chuckled and said, “I have already had breakfast this morning but thanks for asking. I just came by to ask Bruce something is all.”

Alfred hurriedly ushered Clark in and said, “He is eating with the kids in the dining room.”

Clark rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and said, “I can wait in the foyer until they are finished eating.”

Alfred scoffed and said, “You will do no such thing. There is plenty of room at the table. We also have more than enough to eat. I know you have already eaten, but I do have some of that raspberry lemonade and strawberry muffins that you like.”

Clark smiled. The raspberry lemonade and the muffins were some of Clark’s favorite treats. 

Clark chuckled and said, “I guess I could have one muffin.”

Alfred smiled and said, “Perfect!”

He ushered Clark to follow them to the dining room. As he edged toward the dining room, his super hearing picked up part of the conversation being held. 

Tim sighed and said, “Are you sure you don’t have any business at WE this morning?”

Bruce sighed and said, “For the last time, I have today off.”

“Then why would anyone come this early in the morning unannounced?” asked Tim. 

Clark winced at that. It was 7:00 am. He had debated whether it was too early to come or not.

Maybe, I should have waited an hour.

Dick sighed and said, “It is probably someone from the League wanting him to look into something.

“Crisis event?” asked Cassandra. 

Damian scoffed and said, “If it is the League, I want to come instead of going to the idiotic event planned for today.”

Tim asked sarcastically, “You mean the county fair?”

Damian scoffed and said, “Of course, I mean the fair. Why would I want to play second-rate games and watch people stuff themselves with unhealthy food.”

Dick chuckled and said, “You know there is more to it than that.”

Jason snickered and said, “Don’t even bother, Dickiebird. Demon brat wouldn’t know fun if it bit him in the ass.”

Damian growled and said, “Take that back Todd!”

Bruce sighed and said, “Jason don’t mock your brother, and Damian, for the love of God, put down the knife. You can’t attack everyone that vexes you.”

Damian muttered and said, “But he started it.”

Jason laughed and said, “Old man, just admit you forgot your promise to take us to the fair. I won’t get mad about coming here this early. Alfie’s breakfasts are definitely worth all the trouble.”

Bruce sighed and said, “Why do you guys have that much little faith in me? I told you multiple times that I took today off  from WE and told the League not to contact me unless there is the end of the world scenario happening.”

Alfred smirked and said, “I always enjoy your visits, Master Clark. They make things so much livelier around here.”

Clark laughed nervously to himself. He wasn’t sure if Alfred was being genuine about that or sarcastic. Clark shook his head. 

Probably sarcastic. 

As Clark entered the dining room, Cassandra saw him first and smiled. 

Cassandra pointed and said, “It’s Clark.”

All eyes suddenly zoomed in on Clark. Dick, Jason, and Tim had smirks on their faces. Damian was scowling. However, that wasn’t anything new. He would be surprised to see a smile on that kid’s face. He looked over at Bruce and nearly melted. He looked so handsome in his red sweater and brown slacks. Bruce was staring at Clark with a soft smile. It wasn’t that often that Bruce smiled and Clark always appreciated whenever he got to see one in person. 

Dick chuckled and said, “I told you it was League business. What is it this time? Is it another invasion or did the supervillains team up again?”

Jason sighed and said, “I hope not. That last crisis we had was a pain in the butt.”

Clark chuckled and as he went and took a seat by Dick and said, “It is nothing like that. I just had something I wanted to discuss with Bruce is all.”

Bruce raised an eyebrow as Alfred placed strawberry muffins and lemonade in front of Clark.

Clark smiled and said, “Thank you, Alfred.”

Alfred smiled and said, “No problem, Master Clark.”

Bruce looked at Clark intently and asked, “Did you want to go down to the cave to talk?”

Clark chuckled sheepishly and said, “It is nothing serious like that. I just have some news to share is all.”

Bruce looked at him curiously and asked, “Oh, what is it?”

Clark coughed while rubbing the back of his neck and said, “I have a child now.”

Everyone went silent. Clark felt like he could hear a pin drop. When he looked back up, he noticed that everyone was looking at him with curiosity.

Before Clark said anything, Bruce smirked and said, “I have two questions for you.”

Clark looked at him surprised and said, “Um, yeah sure.”

“Does this have anything to do with Mxy and does Barry have Kara have children too?”

Clark narrowed his eyes and asked, “You knew, didn’t you? You didn’t bug my apartment again?”

FAVORITE EPISODES OF "THE FLASH" SEASON THREE (2016-2017)

1. (3.22) "Infantino Street" - Increasingly desperate to save Iris West, the woman he loves, from the evil speedster Savitar; Barry Allen aka the Flash turns to his former nemesis, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, for help. Wentworth Miller and Audrey Marie Anderson guest starred.

2. (3.19) "The Once and Future Flash" - Barry travels forward in time to 2024 in order to learn Savitar's true identity from his future self and save Iris' life.

3. (3.01) "Flashpoint" - After preventing his parents' deaths in the Season Two finale, Barry ends up creating Flashpoint. When he begins to forget his old life, the captured Reverse-Flash warns Barry of repercussions. Matt Letscher, John Wesley Shipp and Michelle Harrison guest starred.

4. (3.16) "Into the Speed Force" - Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry turns to the Speed Force for answers.  H.R. gives Jesse some advice. Robbie Amell and Rick Cosnett guest starred.

5. (3.08) "Invasion!" - In Part 1 of this Arrowverse crossover event, Barry asks Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow for help when aliens attack Central City. When they realize the pair of them is not enough, they recruit the Legends and Supergirl.

Honorable Mention: (3.09) "The Present" - Barry travels to Earth Three to get advice from Jay Garrick aka the Flash on how to stop Savitar. Wally West aka Kid Flash informs Barry that he has been training with H.R. Wells. Old wounds reopen when Cisco Ramon faces Christmas without his brother Dante, who had died because of Flashpoint.

Mein A/B/O-Arrowverse-AU-Verse:

Diese Serie von mir rekonstruiert das gesammte Arrowverse in einem Alpha/Beta/Omega-Setting. Sie geht gegen Ende der 6. Staffel von "Arrow", der 4. von "The Flash" sowie der jeweils 3. von "Legends of Tomorrow" und "Supergirl" zunehmend AU. "Batwoman" ist inkludiert, allerdings nur die erste Staffel und da auch schon von Anfang sehr anders als im Canon.

Diese Fics wurden zwischen 2017 und 2019 geschrieben, wobei die eigentliche Hauptstory zwischen 2017 und 2018 entstand. Spätere Einträge spielen zwischen den Ereignissen der vorher geposteten Fics. Prinzipiell geht dieses Verse mit dem Ende der 2017/18er Seasons vollkommen AU, daher werden später eingeführte Ereignisse, Charaktere und Ships nur am Rande benahdelt und eingebaut, und in diesen Fic finden sich nur Dinge die vor „Crisis on Infinite Earths“ passiert sind.

Prinzipiell bin ich der Meinung, dass es heute trotzdem noch gut stand hält, wobei der auffälligste Unterschied zum Canon die Tatsache ist, dass fast alles geschrieben wurde bevor Nia aktive Kräfte für den Kampfeinsatz besaß, weswegen sie im Kampf die gleichen Kräfte wie Dream Girl in den Comics verwendet und nicht ihre Canon-Traum-Energie Strahlen und Peitschen. Und natürlich sind die End-Game Pairings andere.

Inzwischen noch witziger ist was alles in meinem Fics passiert ist, bevor es im Canon ebenfalls passiert ist (wie etwa, das Clois-Baby, dass Lena Lex erschießt, Johns Lungenkrebs Storyline, dass Eddie zurückkommt, der Ausflug in die Speed Force während er großen Krise etc) und wie anders manches bei mir ist was der Canon absolut vergessen hat mir aber doch wichtig erschienen ist.

Chronologisch gesehen beginnen wir mit der Kindheit verschiedenster Charaktere und enden mit einer Szene im Jahr 1992, die alles abschließt. Handlungstechnisch enden wir aber im Jahr 2028.

Im Gegensatz zum Canon kriegen hier alle Serien - „Arrow“, „The Flash“, „Supergirl“, „Legends of Tomorrow“ und irgendwie sogar „Batwoman“ - ein Ende und jeder Charakter bekommt eine mehr oder weniger zu Ende erzählte Geschichte. Obwohl die letzte Fic das Ende von „Legends of Tomorrow“ darstellt, gibt es darin trotzdem Gastauftritte von diversen anderen Charakteren, die auf Erde-1 leben (es gibt keine Erdverchmelzung in meiner Version), und wir lernen etwa das zweite West-Allen-Triaden-Kind kennen, weil ich ja im Gegensatz zu Eric Wallace der Meinung bin, dass eine Franchise auch also solche beendet werden sollte.

Da dieses Universum zur Zeit der 2. Staffel von „Legends of Tomorrow“ und „Supergirl“ begonnen hat, sind die Endgame-Pairings entsprechend. Manche Fans werden hier also nicht glücklich werden, aber immerhin gibt es hier im Gegensatz zum Canon ein Ende für alle. Und auch wenn es manche Charaktere aus späteren Staffeln nicht gibt, gibt es trotzdem Happy Ends für andere. So findet Ava letztlich mit Caitlin ihr Glück, Nora wird als Single glücklich etc.

Charaktere, die im Canon gestorben sind, haben hier überlebt. Charaktere, die tot geblieben sind, sind hier zurück gekommen, Charaktere, die im Canon zurück gekommen sind, blieben hier tot, aber am Ende würde ich sagen, dass dieses Universum für mich selbst die befriedigendere Version des Arrowversums war, als der Canon, alleine eben deswegen weil es hier ein Ende für alle gibt und viele der problemtatischen Dinge Post-Crisis nie passiert sind und daher nie zum Problem wurden.

1.) Cisco Ramon - the Flash

The bestest, kindest, funniest, and smartest person on the show. He was the heart of Team Flash and it's not the same without him. He's loyal and loves his friends dearly. And, well, he's just so much fun and easy to relate to and gnc and I adore this guy. He'd be sooo much fun to be best friends with.

2.) Zelos Wilder - Tales of Symphonia

He flirts like breathing but it's a cover for his insecurities and the ptsd that comes with growing up as the Chosen One who might have to die for the world one day and also his parents hated him. Once he finally joins up with the party, that's the first time he's had real friends and it's a bit heart breaking really. He's also super queer coded and will flirt with the main character (Lloyd Irving).

3.) Estellise "Estelle" Sidos Heurassein - Tales of Vesperia

Fiesty, pink haired princess who is so awesome I named my dog after her. Will break a vase over a guy's head if feels threatened. But will also pick up a sword and kick ass with it too.

4.) Velvet Crowe - Tales of Berseria

The berserker for whom the game is named and also the main character, Velvet Crowe is on a roaring rampage of revenge against her brother-in-law and there will be murder when she's through. Soft spots include the small child she accidentally kidnaps, a certain cry-baby exorcist, an annoying witch and her familiar, an earth-spirit pirate who can't swim, and a war deamon who learns the hard way yak breath is gross.

5.) Leonard Snart - The Flash & Legends of Tomorrow

Master Thief who enjoys being a supervillain a little too much. Has a soft spot he does not want to admit exists for Barry Allen and a soft spot he's reluctantly okay admitting to for his sister. Actually hesitates to kill Barry when his sister's life is on the line. Goes with the Legends to figure out who he is after killing his own dad and winds up sacrificing himself not for the crew, but for Mick. A distinction the rest of the Legends inconveniently and immediately ignore.

6.) Yuri Lowell - Tales of Vesperia

A former knight who quit after three months when he realized the organization was too corrupt and a bad fit for him. Kills bad guys to the consternation of his best friend (Sir Flynn Scifo) who is a genuine good knight in a sea of shitty ones. Accidentally winds up in a position to stop two wars and also save the planet from an eldritch abomination of their ancestors accidental creation. Mostly because he's now also best friends with Estelle - together their trouble magnetism is legendary. (Flynn would like them to stop that now. Why can't his friends just stay safe for ten minutes?)

7.) Keladry of Mindelan - Protector of the Small

The second lady knight of modern Tortall, Keladry quickly learns as a page that she is held to higher standards than her peers by people who want her to fail solely for being a girl. So she digs in her heels and surpasses those standards anyway.

8.) Rosella of Daventry - King's Quest

A princess who has had much adventure in her life and enjoys it. Helps people where ever she goes and this time it's the princess rescuing the prince from danger. Twice. She also stops a volcano from erupting, turns an evil fairy into a baby, and saves her own father from death.

9.) Hiccup - How to Train Your Dragon

Disabled badass with a dragon who is also a disabled badass. Together they bridge the gap between dragons and vikings and make Berk a safe home for both to live. Hiccup dares to be himself when no one wants him to be and it turns out that him being himself is exactly what everyone needed most.

10.) Milla Maxwell - Tales of Xillia

Lord of Spirits who might drool a bit when she's hungry and there is something tasty smelling nearby. She's a total badass, a bit naive, and cares very much about making a better world for human and spirits alike.

4 – Captain Cold, retired, sees his youngest off to college. A few years later, world-wide meta-trafficking upsets the criminal world. Cold comes out of retirement, along with several of his old Rogues, to protect their meta kids and friends. Not a single meta kid goes missing from the streets of Central City.

16 – Captain Cold does, eventually, get his head out of his ass. He and Black Raven do what he meant to do years ago and form a better class of Rogue. The Flash never stood a chance.

19 – Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Golden Glider are never apprehended. However, their informants – the Flash, an enforcer named Frost, and a mid-level pencil pusher named Francisco Ramon – are eventually found out. The six of them flee south and live quite happily in a small country that on Earth-1 is called Panama.

22 – Leonard Snart and Mick Rory do what they have always done – survive. Sometimes, they meet up with five others so that Mick can do his whole hero thing (worst orgy ever), but otherwise just have a blast wherever they find themselves. At one point, they meet a masked vigilante named Commander Cold breaking prisoners out of Krung the Face Crusher’s slave pens. He looks an awful lot like Barry Allen.

27 – Len and Mickey patch things up and continue the good fight against the evil Crime Syndicate.

30 – Michael Scofield and Cisco Ramon do a lot of therapy until one day they decide to confront The Company. That story has yet to be told.

53 – Leo and Ray do battle with politics and diplomacy, though they sometimes miss the simplicity of guns and superpowers.

Earth-29

Sara Tancredi remains employed at Fox River. She and her father stay off The Company’s radar.

Fernando Sucre finishes his time at Fox River. He may or may not work things out with Maricruz, but he at least gets to be in his daughter’s life.

Benjamin Franklin completes his sentence at Fox River. He eventually has a massive fight with his wife, but his daughter never has to see either of her parents arrested.

Charles Westmoreland does not get to see his daughter before she dies, but he lives to attend her funeral.

During the investigation into the break out, Brad Bellick’s corruption is uncovered, and he is fired. Henry Pope resigns, but the lack of violence in the break out means he doesn’t hold a grudge towards Michael.

David Apolskis is never transferred to Avocado’s cell.

Charles Patoshik, Theodore Bagwell, and John Abruzzi remain incarcerated at Fox River. The world is (mostly) safer for it.

The manhunt for Michael and Lincoln is short-lived due to the complete lack of clues or sightings. Alexander Mahone is never called into the case. He remains under The Company’s thumb, but he doesn’t get in nearly as deep. His son is never tortured to death.

Aldo Burrows does what he can to damage The Company. Christina Rose Scofield executes her coup against General Krantz. Both are considerably more successful without their children complicating things. Whether The Company ends up better or worse is up to interpretation, but Christina at least stops any attempts to hunt down her son. Michael and Lincoln never learn any of this.

Fox River State Penitentiary becomes known as the fourth most cursed prison in Illinois.

Leonard Michael Snart, Mitchell Lincoln Rory, Lincoln Joseph Rory, and Victoria Davis will return in “Coldflash in Panama”.

Kara and Barry smiled as they watched the kids sleep. Kara stretched, looked down, and chuckled as she stared at her watch. 

Barry raised an eyebrow and asked, “What’s so funny?”

Kara smiled and said, “We have been standing here staring at them for 30 minutes now.”

Barry smiled and said, “But they are so adorable.”

Kara chuckled and said, “I know, but we should probably be a little more productive. I know I am officially on leave, but I did have three articles I was in the middle of working on…”

Barry sighed and said, “I know what you mean. I had several cases I was working on. Normally, you have to offload your cases before going on leave. Not sure if Mxy in all of his planning arranged all of that.”

Kara shrugged and said, “He seemed pretty thorough…”

Barry rubbed the back of his neck and said, “I will probably run to Central City just to make sure. By the time I find out, I’ll swing by S.T.A.R. Labs to talk to Caitlyn, Felicity, and Oliver.”

Kara raised an eyebrow and asked, “Wouldn’t Felicity and Oliver be in Star City?”

Barry nodded and said, “Normally, but S.T.A.R. Labs is hosting an energy-saving conference with Caitlyn and Felicity being some of the main panelists. Oliver is hosting the entire thing.”

Kara winced and said, “Crap, I forgot with everything going on that I was supposed to be covering that event with Jimmy and Winn today for Catco. I need to check to see if they got someone to replace me for that or not.”

Barry asked, ”Did you want to meet at S.T.A.R. Labs while they are setting up for the event? I would imagine Clark would be back before then.”

Kara nodded and said, “Sure.”

Barry smiled and said, “Okay. Well, I am headed out. I will see you shortly.” 

And with that, Barry zoomed off as a red blur. 

Kara chuckled while shaking her head. She turned to head to the kitchen to grab her laptop when she heard her phone ring. She quickly zoomed to her room to grab her phone. 

“Hello?”

“Ah, Kierra. So your phone is working.”

Kara stuttered, “Ms. Grant…”

“You seem surprised to hear from me,” mused Ms. Grant. 

Kara chuckled nervously and said, “I just didn’t know that you got up this early.”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “I decided on a quick vacation to Paris yesterday. I am several hours ahead of you right now.”

“Oh….”

Ms. Grant cleared her throat and said, “That is beside the point. I must say, Kierra. I know that we don’t communicate all the time, but as your mentor, I thought you would have the decency to let me know of important life changes.”

Kara stared at the phone shocked. She knew that Ms. Grant would have received the email from HR about her leave. However, Ms. Grant usually had her assistant field through those emails and dealt with it unless it was something that needed her direct approval. Kara had started to shift slightly back and forth. 

Ms. Grant scoffed and said, “I get that you wouldn’t have been able to tell me in person, but I at least expected a phone call, not a random email from HR saying you have three months of parental leave.”

Kara winced and said, “Ms. Grant, I didn’t mean any slight about not letting you know about the adoption. When, my friend, cousin, and I went into this, we didn’t know that it would be this quick of a process.”

“Adoption agencies usually give you some type of guideline of when you get the child.”

Kara stuttered and said, “We didn’t go through the adoption agency though. We had to do the reclaim process with LexCorp…”

The line was silent for a moment before Ms. Grant said softly, “Oh…I didn’t realize…” Ms. Grant was silent for a moment and asked gently, “Are you okay Kara?”

Kara looked down at her phone in surprise. She had seen multiple sides of Ms. Grant’s personality ranging from anger to indignation, but this gentler side she was displaying was a new one.

Kara said warily, “Yes, I'm fine. Why?”

Ms. Grant was silent momentarily before saying, “What Lex did to you and the others….that is such a violation. I am surprised honestly that Lex didn’t get a harsher sentence for what he has done…”

Kara gave a soft smile and said, “Oh, I agree with you. However, I choose to look at the positive which is that my friend, cousin, and I have three little ones to fawn over.”

Ms. Grant gave a slight chuckle. 

Kara frowned and asked, “What’s so funny?”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “You are the only person I know who takes such a bleak situation that Lex caused, and puts a positive spin on it. I heard that LexCorp hadn’t been notifying the biological parents when they would give their child to them so some of the parents were not prepared for the kid’s arrival. I hope that you had a more positive experience than that.”

Kara chuckled nervously and said, “Nope, we just had an hour warning before the kids arrived.”

Ms. Grant scoffed and said, “The nerve of those Neanderthals.” Ms. Grant sighed and said, “That probably explains why HR put on rush on the leave of absence request for you. Normally, it would have taken a couple of weeks for approval, but we have been making exceptions with this whole LexCorp thing.” Ms. Grant paused for a moment and said, “If you need help with making living accommodations or kids supplies….”

Kara smiled and said, “Fortunately, we had enough space for the kids and enough supplies for them.”

Ms. Grant breathed a sigh of relief and said, “That’s good to hear. It is not only good to have supplies, but also to have a good support system. You know the saying that it takes a tribe to raise a child.”

Kara chuckled and said, “Actually, we are gathering our tribe as we speak. We just got the kids today, but we are throwing a party this Saturday to introduce them to family and friends. I would love it if you could come.”

Ms. Grant sighed and said, “I unfortunately won’t be able to attend. I promised Carter we would stay in Paris until Sunday, but….” Ms. Grant was silent for a moment before she asked, “How old are the kids?”

“The three kids are six years old.”

“That is perfect! They are the same age as Carter! We should do a playdate.”

Kara smiled and said, “I would like that.”

“How would next Monday at around noon sound?”

Kara was surprised. She didn’t think that Ms. Grant would take her up on that so quickly.

“Sure. Monday at noon would be awesome.”

“Wonderful. I will text you my address and Kara….”

“Yes…” said Kara hesitantly. 

Ms. Grant said warmly, “Welcome to motherhood.”

Mick Rory watched through the glass of the room as Sara marked down the results of the tests she’d run on Amaya. The head of Mercury Labs herself was seated on the bed, hands in her lap. For all she’d been through in the past few days, she was taking it remarkably well. Mick knew he’d been a mess for the first few days when his pyrokinesis had started to develop. Then again, what Amaya had was a lot different.

“You should talk to her.”

Mick turned around to see Leonard standing behind him. He had changed back into his civilian clothes now.

“I thought you were busy with the Time Wraith?” Mick asked. “Or did you and Lisa get that sorted out.”

“It’s back in the Speed Force,” his friend confirmed. “Hopefully it stays there.”

“Good,” Mick nodded. “As long as Amaya’s safe from it.”

Leonard smirked. “You care a lot about her, don’t you?”

Mick sighed. “We work well together. I’ve got a lotta respect for her.”

“You should invite her to the get-together tonight,” Leonard suggested.

As soon as he opened his mouth to protest, Leonard continued his spiel. “I know, I know, you’re fellow scientists who had rival companies at one point before the accelerator exploded. But I’ve seen you work together before. Yesterday, you were there with her when she was struggling with her powers. There’s something between you two, but you guys are too afraid of it.”

“So what are you getting at?”

“Remember when you pushed me to tell Sara how I felt about her?” 

Mick nodded. “You two had your heads so far up I was convinced you were blind.”

“Well, think of this as me pushing you to take the first step with Amaya,” Leonard nodded at where the woman in question was now rising from the bed. “Go. Grab the chance.”

Amays stepped out of the room she’d been in with Sara. Mick took a deep breath and walked over to her. She visibly relaxed as he came to stand beside her. The totem around her neck glinted briefly as she turned towards him.

“So Sara says I’m all clear to go,” she told him. “My vitals are back to normal now. It seems that using the totem is what causes them to change.”

“Glad to hear it,” Mick said sincerely. “I was worried we wouldn’t succeed this time.”

“I wasn’t. I had faith in you. And the Flash.”

He chuckled a little. “Good news is that the Time Wraith is gone. It’s been sent back to the place it crawled out of.”

“Could it come back?” she asked.

“We don’t know,” Mick admitted. “The Speed Force is pretty uncharted territory for all of us. I’ve tried to map out what I could from Leonard and Lisa, but there’s still holes.”

“If you need an extra brain on the matter, I’d be happy to help,” Amaya offered. “After all, you saved my life from the wraith. I’m willing to do anything to figure out its origins.”

“I’ll remember that,” Mick nodded, glad to hear that she was willing to still work with him after her encounter with Team Flash. “There’s something else too.”

“Should I be concerned?’

“Nah,” he shook his head. “I’m having a bonfire tonight. Wanna come?”

Amaya tilted her head. “Is there an occasion or something?”

“Just a get together,” Mick explained. “Team Flash members are there or anyone who knows about this set up. That includes you now, if you want.”

The scientist nodded. “I think I’d like that.”

Mick could feel his spirits lifting at her answer. “Great. We’re all gonna head over there in an hour or so if you want to stick around.”

“I’d love to,” Amaya replied. “If you want, we can take a look at your Speed Force layout and see what new holes we can fit in until we have to go.”

“Sounds like a plan.”

16. Leo meets Leonard (The Flash / Legends of Tomorrow)

I would have payed extra-money for this to happen. But I do get why it didn’t happen, because if you come right down to it, we only had Leo for five episodes across two shows, two of those episodes being part of the Crossover, which left three episodes, that really had other things to do than to bring back Leonard just to have him meet Leo. On the other hand those two were so different, it should have been an obligation for the writers to make it happen somehow. Maybe at least in a vision or a dream or something like that. Gah, I wish Wenworth Miller would just come back in the flesh as any of those two to our shows….

 Did I do that in one of my Fanfics: Yes.

Das Kompass-Verse

Mein “Kompass”-Verse ist wieder so ein High Concept AU von mir, in dem jeder Mensch einen Kompass auf seinem Arm trägt, der in seine Haut tatowiert zu sein scheint und auf dem im Laufe seines Lebens vier Namen (einer statt jeder Himmelsrichtung) auftauchen können, sobald sich die entsprechenden Personen begegnen. Keiner weiß was das zu bedeuten hat, aber alle sind sich einig, dass es etwas zu bedeuten hat und wie sie mit dieser Tatsache umgehen ist das Thema dieses Verses.

Hauptsächlich im Jahr 2019 geschrieben (mit ein wenig Überhang ins frühe Jahr 2020 mit dem Ende von “Crisis of Infinite Earths”) war das Konzept des Kompass-Verse etwas das ich schon vor längerer Zeit für die verschiedensten Fandoms entwickelt hatte, aber noch nie zuvor als Fanfiction umgesetzt hatte. Erst als ich “Kompass” verfasst habe, kam ich dazu, was auch erklärt warum die meisten Charaktere die Namen auf ihren Kompass aus frühen Arrowverse-Staffeln basierend bekommen haben, obwohl die Fic selbst erst 2019 geschrieben wurde. Insofern spielt “Kompass” auch vor allem während “Arrow” Staffel 3 und 4, “The Flash” Staffel 1 und 2 und den ersten beiden Staffeln von “Legends of Tomorrow”. Das Herzstück ist wieder einmal ein “Doomworld”-AU und danach begeben wir uns nur ein wenig in die frühe dritte Staffel von “Legends”.

Um sich von meiner A/B/O-Verse Doomworld-Fic zu unterscheiden, ist der Twist in “Kompass” absichtlich ein anderer, auch wenn das Set Up ähnlich wie in meiner anderen Fic ist (Mick will durch den Speer für andere alles besser machen), hier ist es Leonard Snart, der die Rebellion gegen den Rest der Legion of Doom los tritt, als Erbe von Mick sozusagen.

Obwohl ich immer sehr stolz auf “Kompass” war, hat diese Fic leider nie besonders großen Anklang gefunden, vermutlich auch weil “Legends of Tomorrow” im deutschsprachigen Raum immer sehr stiefmütterlich behandelt wurde. Vielleicht war es aber auch der “fehlende Teil” des Inhalts, der Leser abgeschreckt hat.

Diesen fehlenden Teil habe ich später nachgeholt und zwar in meiner “The Flash-Shorts”-Sammlung und in meiner “Legends of Tomorrowä-Shorts”-Sammlung. In beiden wurde das Kompass-Verse von mir aber auch fortgesetzt, mit einem neuen Handlungsstrang für die fünfte Staffel von “The Flash” rund um Eobard Thawne und Nora West-Allen und der Kompass-Verse-Version der 4. Staffel von “Legends of Tomorrow”, mit einem Happy End für Ray und Mick, einer Amaya, Nate und Zari-Dreiecksbeziehung und einem eigenen Handlungsstrang rund um John Constantine und seinen “Kompass”-Gefährten.

Erneut hat “Legends of Tomorrow” in diesem Verse anders als in der Realität ein Ende bekommen. Es ist etwas anders als das im A/B/O-Verse geworden, etwas melancholischer und tragischer, aber auch wohl passender für den allgemeinen Geschmack, da Sara hier ihr Glück mit Ava findet. Die wichtigeren Endgame Pairings sind aber Atomwave, Constangreen und Naterad, was ironisch ist, aber auch gewollt - am Ende bekommen ihn weder Amaya noch Zari, sondern Behrad. Da ich das Ende von “Legends” vor Ausstrahlungsbeginn der fünften Staffel geschrieben habe, heißt er so wie Zari Tomaz mit Nachnamen, Zari selbst ist ein Zeitfragment und noch mit an Bord (es gibt keine neue Schwester, erst ganz am Schluss) und Astras Schicksal ist ein anderes.
