i do really love emily. i don't know, but something just makes me very affectionate towards her.
femme reader, sfw, established relationship
Tumblr media
ever since emily was then wedded to her new spouse, there's something that she still cannot get used to. well, in her heart, it feels so natural—as if she was made for this purpose, and as if everything that has been said and done was all aligned for her. even if she does indulge in her beliefs of mysticality, emily knew that what she had was real and cemented. a best friend, a girlfriend—a wife, of all things. tossing and turning in their shared bed, emily looked at your peaceful sleeping face. she found you to be so beautiful...
her eyes glossed over each of your features, from the fine contours of your nose, to those lips of which she oh, wants to kiss so dearly. the artistic side in her finds you just so genuinely interesting, as she's able to map out all of the different proportions in her mind. even if you may not be perfect, and emily is far from that as well, you two were perfect for each other. the tailor then gave into her impulses, pressing a soft kiss on her wife's cheek; lingering a bit, as she then withdraws. she misses the warmth already.
something has been nagging at emily recently, and it's mainly due to her scheduling. normally, she'd go out and work the saloon late at night; often times, just the hustle and bustle of her shifts do get her through the hours—however, she promptly would then pass out as soon as she makes her way towards home. how emily would dream of having that taste of sleep; looking forward to it every day, since it's the most downtime she has in her day—well, other than in the morning (of which she likes to relax in her home... whenever she doesn't have chores).
it's past 11pm, and the bed already feels uncomfortable for her. she has this insatiable itch to get up, to dance, to move—but, there're a few moments in emily's life where it feels as if it's better to stay still. as if she doesn't need to go put an imprint on the new day, rather, just let the earth turn. it felt like an eterenity for the woman, as she was still just glazing over the features on your face, whilst trying to think of something to do. she already knows what she wants to do tomorrow—probably tend to her crystal garden out by the farm, and then surprise her love with taking care of her chickens. oh, how she does love birds!
possibly, she could go out and forage some? she has a few hours to make it back home, and she knows you do appreciate a fresh medley. she wants you to grow healthy wnd strong, and with all of your farmwork, combat expertise, and mining efficiency... she'll be surprised if she could find anyone that'd be stronger than you. well, not only by physical strength—she knows that you're a capabale woman; more than capable.
it makes her feel proud that her gut feeling was right about you being special; but her sense of pride over having the person she loves doing what she wants to do, and is equally proud of her own work? oh, emily's heart swoons!
preparing to go out, she then slips on her shoes, makes sure to change into something she could get dirty in, and makes her way out of the house. making sure that none of the wooden floorboards don't creek underneath the rug she's walking on, emily takes softer steps—to ensure that you're not going to have a rude awakening anytime soon. she then turns around whenever she reaches the fromt door, blowing a kiss in the bedroom's direction to say "goodbye, my dear!"
the chill of the night washed over emily. well, at least it brings her more of an incentive to get out and be active! however, she still needed to be careful being out at night without light; she could still make out some objects due to the moonlight. oh, how romantic this felt with emily, and how it just felt so in-tune with her emotions. she was glad she was able to be friends with—now, be with—someone who doesn't just dismiss her mannerisms as simply "odd" or "too weird". yes, she knows that she is far from the conventional standard sometimes, but the world would be too boring if everything was a simple carbon copy of each other.
how she felt things were different than most. you were able to be with her and understand, and even if you didn't quite get everything she rambled on about, it made you feel special that she'd want to show you all of those things. emily may have her quirks, but that's what makes her, well—her! you wouldn't have her any other way.
humming a saloon tune whilst skipping to the beat of it, just thinking about surprising you with all of these goodies makes her feel so, so upbeat! if you were there, you could've seen the color to her cheeks; how that rosey hue was something all-too familiar. picking up some dandelions along the way, she did remember to pack a wicker basket a while back; as she tried her best to then assort each of the plants the best she could. emily had an eye for design and arrangements, so it did take her a bit until she was fully satisfied to continue onto the next task. if she feels so strongly about something, she needs to vent it out! emily believes that it's a true emotion, if it resonates that deeply within her.
something about this late night nature stroll does rekindle feelings emily never quite knew she had. she never had the time to go outside and to fully appreciate the stars; however, being able to actually go out, and to observe all of the things she'd normally miss due to her body just aching to get to bed... she loves it. the fresh breeze of the spring's night air was cold, however, there's still a warmth to it. oh, well, maybe it's because she's full of thoughts of you. maybe that's it.
she then makes her way throughout town, waving to some of the nightly saloon guests as they make their way out of the restaurant. ever since she was married, she doesn't have to work as much at gus'. this made her feel more free, as she knows that she cannot simply be a barsmaid forever—there's too much on her plate to do, y'know? though, now that she thinks about it, work feels much more rewarding, if she can go home and see you, to cook for you, to bring gifts to you (from all those times you've given her some), and to simply be the first and last thing she gets to see in her days.
as emily progresses up towards the mountains, she doesn't frequent this area; as she doesn't have much of a use for it. now? she loves just how raw and natural this feels to her, as she gets a good feeling of energy coming from her. you'd often talk about all of the difficult fish that you'd have to catch in this area, and you have to reassure her that you're handling the little creatures humanely; and that they're all okay, under your care. she loves how caring you are with even the smallest of things, and that positivity is contagious. well, at least in her mind.
this was the place where she truly belonged, now that she thinks about it.

Even though I haven't gotten requests as of now, I figured I'd go ahead and do this. I only have creepypasta stuff out right now, but I will write for more than that :). I'll probably add to this, though.

Jeff the Killer
Jane the Killer
Nina the Killer
Ticci Toby
Tim Wright/Masky
Brian Thomas/Hoodie
Slenderman
Eyeless Jack
Bloody Painter
Nurse Ann
Jason the Toymaker
Laughing Jack
I will add more creeps eventually, these are just the ones I've already written small stuff for in the past therefore feel more confident in the way I write them :)
Red Queen:
Mare Barrow
Shade Barrow
Diana Farley
Tiberias Calore
Maven Calore
Evangeline Samos
Elane Haven
Kilorn Warren
Cameron Cole
Stardew Valley:
Sebastian
Alex
Sam
Abigail
Penny
Haley
Emily
Same thing from the Creeps, I only have the characters I've personally made good friends with (at least 8 hearts) or romanced (at least 10). The bachelor(ette)s I haven't listed are just ones I don't know very well therefore wouldn't write for accurately.
Harry Potter
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger
Ron Weasley
Draco Malfoy
Luna Lovegood
My Hero Academia
Izuku Midoriya
Shoto Todoroki
Kyoka Jirou
Ochaco Uraraka
Tomura Shigaraki
Dabi
Twice
Himiko Toga
Death Note
Light Yagami
L
Misa Amane
What I'll write for:
Scenarios
Headcanons
X M! Reader
X Gn! Reader
X F! Reader (Strictly for wlw)
X Specific! Reader (ex: chubby, trans, poc, etc.)
Red Queen Canon Relationships (cal x mare, eva x elane, etc.)
Sebastian X Sam
Sebastian X Abigail
Abigail X Haley
Light X L
No Romance
Smut (Canon characters, Amab readers, or Afab readers)
Fluff
Angst
Extreme violence or gore
Alcohol usage, drug usage, smoking
Religious trauma
AUs
Specific kinks (To an extent; if it's something I don't feel comfortable with writing, I will reply to your ask stating such and add it in the will not write section)
What I will NOT write for:
Non-con
Piss, Scat, Vomit kink
Vore
Religion
Fetishes
Creepypasta X Creepypasta
MHA Canon X Canon
Evangeline X M! Reader
Elane X M! Reader
Alex X F! Reader
Maven X Canon
Misa X Canon
Polyamory
Yandere
I also will not take requests for full length fanfic books. I come up with the ideas for those myself.
For those wondering about the Creep X Creep stuff, I genuinely don't think any of the creeps would make good couples. Same with MHA, I don't "ship" any of the characters I write for. Same with Maven X Canon. He's an ass to all of them, and Mare would never go back to him even reformed (imo).
I also don't know enough about how yandere characters work, so until I figure that how I won't write for it. Same with polyam; I myself am not poly and I feel I don't know enough about that to really write for it. Nothing against poly people of course.
I will typically keep anything PG gender neutral with no physical descriptors. In smut, I will write for both AMAB and AFAB readers so you must specify in your request along with the pronouns you want me to use. If you don't specify the pronouns, I'll use they/them. If you don't specify the sex, I can only write smut where the reader isn't receiving anything. Specifying could mean describing the parts they have in the request or using the pronouns as well.
So for the way I will write things is if you ask "(Male character) X female reader" I will not write it for a female reader, I will write it gender neutral. However, I will write wlw so if you ask "(Female character) x female reader" I will write it. I will write any character x male reader specifically because male readers dont get shit and even when we do a good bit of it is written by 13 year old girls who fetishize us (speaking from experience) and it's obvious; unless that is a lesbian character, I will write it with a male reader. This is again because female readers tend to get a lot more fanfiction written for them and its tiring for male readers, along with gn and trans readers too. Will I write specifically for trans women? Trans women barely get fics too, however if it's a request that doesn't have anything to do with what your agab (assigned gender at birth) is, then there's no reason for me to write it. You would be referred to and written like a cis woman would be. Smut is different, but I already talked about that.
For the creeps, I will eventually write out my basic HCs for all the ones I write for (basic as in age, name, height, likes, dislikes, etc.). It probably won't be any time soon so don't wait up on it LMAO. I'll probably do that for Stardew Valley and maybe Red Queen too. I'm not sure about any of my other fandoms yet.
Anything I miss will be added later. This was only proofread once so sawry if there's mistakes

Yandere Stardew Valley
Sam
He believes you need protection. It's not too bad because it's a small town and he knows everyone. He's fine with you being around people he deems safe. But if anyone who hasn't been through his vetting process is near you, i.e tourist, he will be next to you in a second. God forbid they don't meet his standards. If so, he'll start to get violent to them. Not you of course, never you.
It starts as not so thinly veiled threats, then he pushes you behind him, and if it does escalate to a fight he only stops when they give up. You can convince him to stop if you tell him he's scaring you, he can't have you scared of him. His full attention will be focused on you now.
However this might not always work. He knows he's not the smartest so he tends to think a lot more when it comes to you. If you tell him not to do something and he feels it's necessary, he'll think about it when he is alone. With no voice of reason he will get to a movie like conclusion; the weak-hearted damsel is in need of a knight. So when he maims someone it will be away from you.
He's mostly fine but will turn violent to anyone he feels can hurt you.
Sebastian
You will never know. He is fully lucid and only cares because he knows it would scare you. Again, mostly safe. He is not disillusioned to think you can't handle yourself, you tend to the farm and mines all day. But he wants you to be his and if anything threatens your relationship is when he gets to work.
If any other bachelor/bachelorette starts pursuing you he will see them as a rival and make them look bad. Haley now is a lot more selfish and mean, so why settle for someone who doesn't seem to like you. Elliot is aimless and constantly getting abandoning his projects, who says he'll even stay in Stardew Valley.
Sam and Maru would only avoid this because he'll redirect them. He encourages Maru to pursue her work, something she is very passionate about. And he gets Sam to go out with Abigail. Speaking of Abigail, if she asks him out and doesn't take the rejection well, she becomes a problem. She will be very passive-aggressive to you. He'll tell her to stop but she stubbornly stands her ground. At that point he's pissed and tells her he will never love her because of how stupid she's acting. It ruins their relationship for a while but they make-up, they always have.
He lives out a fantasy normal life with you, what more could he want?
Emily
Fully delusional.
She comes out the gate swinging. After knowing you for only a few weeks she confesses her love and how you're meant to be together. Her sheer unpredictability ensures you will never escape her. Giving you the sweetest sentiments while telling you to stay with her forever. Not that you have a choice.
Kidnaps you very early on. Why wait? She had trouble with you making noise at her house, so she moved into your house while you were sleeping. How? You will never know. But what more could you want? She feeds you, bathes you, loves you. Even while you kick and scream.
If anyone tried to save you, they would become a stain on the floor and not much else.

Purple Water – (Emily x Reader)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1k+
Gender-Neutral Reader
As if the downpour wasn't enough, a lightning bolt crashes right at a tree barely feet away from where you're standing. You force yourself to stay back, finding shelter on a corner of the cave and sitting down, tired from having spent the past five hours mining. Then, you take out your dinner and touch the bowl to feel its warmth, still temperate. It'd been a long time since you last got carried away with work. Emily gave you a warning about doing that the last time you ended up at Harvey's clinic, and that had been two whole years ago.
You set the food aside, deciding to call her first, yet right as you're about to click on the call button, a face call notif shows right up on screen, 'Emi' marked as the caller. You swipe right almost instantly, blue hair and bright eyes welcoming your sight.
"(Y/N)!" she exclaims, alert in her voice. "Are you okay? That storm came out of nowhere!" Her lips are a stiff line while her forehead's creased, both revealing her worry despite her attempts at masking it with her tone. "Is that the cave? I- I'm near. Wait up for me!"
You call out her nickname, how frequent the lightning's turned making you fear it's now a thunderstorm. Rain doesn't cease either, some of it seeping into the walls and falling in the shape of thinner, smaller drops, some hitting you. "I'm fine, Emi," you state, smiling. "Please, don't go out -- It's dangerous."
"What about you, then?" she presses, a hint of anger crossing her face. "That cave's been damaged by previous storms already. Wh- Who knows how safe you are, really?" Her voice breaks, eyes turning shinier the more she speaks. "Please, (Y/N). I. . . I almost lost you last time to that cave."
"That was my fault -- not the cave's." You face her, determined not to let her exit Pierre's -- from what you could tell, based on the background. "I overworked, and I paid the consequences for it." You furrow your gaze, smile fading as you continue. "I just wish you hadn't paid part of it. You. . . You shouldn't've had to walk all the way to the clinic just to see me there, all beat up and rained on. I almost made that mistake again. Didn't even notice five hours had gone by 'till I started hearing the rain. Please stay at Pierre's, Emi. I'll walk there when the storm clears out."
Emily huffs, closing her eyes in the process and taking in a breath, letting it out slowly. Finally, she opens her eyes, clarity showing in them. "Alright. I trust you on that -- And I'm. . . I'm glad you noticed that part. I try not to bring it up, 'cuz I know you're just doing your best for us, but you really shouldn't do something like that ever again. Those hours you just finished working should be enough for one day. You should rest when we're back home."
"I will, Emi -- That's a promise." You smile when she does, happy to see her calm. Her eyes wander away from your face, making you look towards that direction to come across with the bean hotpot she'd prepared for you. "I'm gonna eat this now," you explain, laughing when she gives you a wary look, lips thinning and gaze furrowing. "I'll call you back as soon as it starts clearing up."
"You better," she warns, grinning, then giggling afterwards. "And don't rush yourself. Call me only if you're done eating by then. Eat slow and watch out for lightning."
"Will do, wifey -- And stay safe."
"Stay safe, (wifey/hubby)."
You both share a laugh at those nicknames, hanging up next.
★ ★ ★
The lake's turned purple by the time the storm's cleared up. Puddles surround the area and frogs emerge from bushes when you pass too close to them. Rested, hydrated, and with a full stomach, you make your way to Pierre's, hoping to be there no more than fifteen minutes since calling Emily about it.
By the time you make it past the lake though, you come across Emily, yellow raincoat contrasting with the red of her dress and the blue of her hair. With all primary colours worn all at once, it was hard for her not to stand out. She waves as soon as she makes eye contact with you, ushering you to join her in skipping puddles until you make it to each other's side.
Splish, splash.
Repeat that a few more times, and you're finally face-to-face with each other, taking a moment to recover from the activity before grinning, hugging each other and bursting into nervous laughter afterwards.
"Are you okay?" she asks, letting go, keeping her hands over your shoulders as she waits for an answer.
"I'm okay," you assure her, nodding. "What about you?"
"Pierre's was full of customers! He had to open up the house with how many people were there. Even a few Zuu Zuu tourists were caught up in there!"
You both continue talking as you walk, choosing to stop by the lake before going back home. It's a deeper shade of purple now, sky sharing the same colour, a few clouds interrupting it. You wait for Emily to sit down first, joining her side and bringing her close to you.
"I'm sorry for what. . . happened last time." You're reluctant to face her, though she squeezes her own hold on you, resting her head on your shoulder. "I should've thought more about what I was doing."
"Thank you," she replies, breath tickling your neck. "But I'm just happy you recognized it before it happened today. I'm glad you did, and I'm glad you chose to bring it up -- I'd say that really shows you know how to identify that now." She presses a quick  kiss to your ear lobe, a smile present on her face when you choose to look at her.
"Thank you, Emi," you retort, grabbing her cheek and pressing a kiss against it. "For worrying about me -- Just don't go running off in the very middle of storms, alright?"
She laughs, nodding. "Alright, (wifey/hubby)."
You nudge her shoulder, gaining another laugh from her. "I mean it, wifey."

Not So New Afterall (Sdv Sebastian x F!Reader)
A/n: Hi! Hi!! Rin here again! It’s been quite a while since I’ve written, and this may be one of my last chapters before I got on a hiatus. School’s opening up soon, and I’m a hostel student. Currently, this is my last year, so by the end of this year, I’ll be updating lots more! (And playing alot more Stardew valley hehe)
This chapter may be more Abigail centered, since the friendship between the two is really necessary for the plot.
Ah, one more thing, the clothing choices will be based on a mod in Stardew Valley, cute seasonal clothing for NPC’s
Oh plus, Sebastian’s gonna be that emo jerk, ya hear me? Don’t go coming at me for that please :’)
CHAPTER THREE
It’s been a few weeks since (Y/n) had moved in, and apparently, had been settling in just nicely. Not only was she doing well with the farm, she was starting to get along with the all the villagers of Pelican Town. Especially the bachelors and bachelorettes around her age.
Namely, Abigail and Sam.
Speaking of the duo, they had been hanging out with (Y/n) whenever she was free. But she seldom was, since she had to maintain her income by doing other work such as fishing, mining for mineral goods and doing odd-jobs for those around the town and they respected her.
Sebastian too hasn’t seen her recently, except during the moments she come to his house to talk to Robin about the farm buildings when he comes out to get lunch (or breakfast, for his case), or when she passes by on her way to the mines when he was taking a smoke. She would always slip in a brief hello and the two would exchange a few words before she was well on her way.
(Y/n) wasn’t always one to take a breather, not when she has so many things to take care of. Harvey apparently told Maru who told Robin, who told Sebastian, who told Sam, who told Abigail that (Y/n) had passed out numerous times from exerting herself too much. So the two put their heads together to get her to relax a little.
Abigail was staring out into the clear blue stream that flowed beneath the stone bridge she stood on. The fish were swimming happily beneath her and she smiled in delight. Oh how she wished she could be as carefree as the fish.
“Ah! I got it!” a familiar voice exclaimed from behind her.
Abigail whipped her head around, her purple locks swaying as she did, as she turned around to see her (h/c) friend with a bamboo pole clutched in her hands.
“Oh, wow! It’s a big one!” Abigail shrieked in excitement, her green eyes shining with pure joy. “Come on, (Y/n)! You got this!” she cheered, her hands in determined fists as she watched her friend reel in the marine life.
“Ah!” (Y/n) exclaimed, as she successfully reeled in a silver-grade Shad.
“You did it!” Abigail cheered childishly. Then, she stopped as her face beamed red. It was quite rare of her to have an outburst like this, she was usually so reserved to people she didn’t really know.
She glanced at the (s/c) girl next to her, who was quite pleased with her catch. But ever since this girl moved in, she, without a doubt had shared her interests with the said girl, leading to many long and exciting conversations.
Abigail admits that (Y/n) is a worthy as a cool enough gal to hang out with the gang.
“Yo, (Y/n). Me and the gang are hanging out at the Saloon tonight. You down?” Abigail asked with occasional her city-girl slang. (Y/n)’s head whipped around to face her, her (e/c) eyes gleaming. “You and the gang? You mean Sebastian and Sam?”
Abigail nodded as she let out a slight chuckle. “You bet. It’s some kind of tradition for us, and I thought maybe you should join us sometime,” Abigail invited as she flashed a quirky smile with her pearl white teeth.
She was hoping so bad in her heart that the girl would say yes, she really wanted some girl time with another female after so long with only boys. Agh, that must have sounded so bad, she scolded herself. She was literally gonna die if (Y/n) said no after she had put up that ‘macho’ front.
“If the boys don’t mind me around, sure why not? I could use some sweet free time, with my bestie,” said (Y/n) as she nudged her elbow with the purple-haired lady, a similar teasing smile on her lips.
“Great! Meetup starts at 5, game starts 30 minutes after,” Abigail said. (Y/n) nods her head, “Thanks, I’ll head on right over after settling my shipments for the day! Can’t go on without making progress on the farm, huh?”
The two parted, leaving Abigail to look at her reflection one last time in the crystal clear river, before heading off to the game room of the Stardrop Saloon. Her smile was so wide, she got lots of odd stares from her parents, since she was such a cold and shut-out girl, and to see her like this really shocked her parents.
“Honey, what’s got you in such a mood?” Caroline asked, as she passed her daughter as she lent Evelyn a hand whilst tending the community gardens. “Ah, it’s...it’s nothing, Mom!” Abigail said, her smile immediately morphing into one of shock.
“Is it Sebastian, Robin’s son?” Caroline teased, making Abigail shake her head furiously. “No, Mom! It’s not him!” she protested, her face getting slightly redder.
“Hmm, then I don’t suppose it’s that charming farmer that hung out with you a moment ago?” the green-haired lady teased once more.
“Uh-(Y/n)?! No! It’s really not!” Abigail protested more, more aggressively once more, realizing her mom was spot on. The woman laughed lightly at her daughter whilst the young woman stormed off in frustration.
“I know it’s both of them,” Caroline smiled delightfully. Maybe the farmer’s presence really would bring a good change to the community, and most importantly, to her daughter.
“You said (Y/n) was joining us?” Sam said ecstatically as he plopped down on the red sofa in the corner of the arcade room. Abigail nodded triumphantly, since Sam had been trying to really hard to strike up an interesting conversation between the two before it fades down to awkward silence.
“I’m telling you, she’s this really cool girl type. She won’t let your conversation die down!” Sebastian heard the female tell, as soon as he stepped into the Saloon.
“Yo, Seb!” Sam greeted, raising a hand, as the male responded similarly, before tucking his hands into his pockets of his hoodie once more. “So, who’s one to not let your story die, huh, Abby?” Sebastian teased, indirectly telling her just how loud she was.
“It’s not that frequent I hear you praising someone so generously,” he said, plopping himself right next to Sam. Abigail huffed and crossed her arms, “Oh, come on, Seb! You know she’s an out-going person,” she said before her expression morphed into one of teasing.
“Oh, right. You don’t spend much time out of your room to know about the outside,” she teased, making an irk mark appear on Sebastian’s forehead. “Excuse me? I’m working my butt off from programming, mind you,” he said.
“Hey, (Y/n)!” Gus greeted, and a loud hello from Emily.
“It’s rare to see you here, but how’re you doing?” Pierre asked, as the said girl entered their vision. It seems that she had groomed and cleaned herself thoroughly before coming, her (h/c) hair slightly shiny from water, and her bright skin that was earlier much redder from heavy-duty. Her clothes also seemed to have changed from her dirt marred blue pants and black shirt to a white shirt with a light blue jacket and light blue skirt.
“I’m doing great! The seeds I got are sprouting just nicely!” the girl praised, earning a hefty laugh from Pierre.
After greeting those that have called out to her, she made her way over to the trio that had invited her over. “Wow, didn’t know she was this well-known since she’s new and all,” Sebastian muttered.
“Haven’t you heard? Mayor Lewis put (Y/n) in charge of mending the old community center, and everyone’s buzzing about it!” Sam said, quite surprised at his friend’s reaction. “She’s starting to get on great terms with my mom, and Vincent totally likes her,”
Abigail nodded in agreement, “Yeah, Dad has been boasting that (Y/n)’s been preferring our goods over Joja’s,” she said making Sebastian scoff lightly.
“New and already a people-pleaser?” Sebastian said, quite sour with how easy (Y/n) managed to round everyone’s attention within a small time span.
Sam slapped his back in a friendly way, “Hey, sooner or later you’re gonna have fun with her too,” Sam said. Typical Sam, a cliche optimistic guy.
“I’ll see if she’s a good enough lass to hang around,” he said as he stood up and picked up his personal favourite cue stick. “Let’s see how well she plays pool,” he said, a slight smirk on his face making colour drain from Abigail and Sam’s faces.
“Hey guys, sorry I’m late! I picked up a few things I wanted to hand out,” the girl said as she racked a hand into a small pouch. (Y/n) then approached Abigail and gestured a hand.
Abigail was legit scared that (Y/n) would put something she hated like...like spiders. But (Y/n) laughed it off and said she wouldn’t stoop that low. The said girl placed a fistful of cold small...things on the pale girl’s hand.
When she released her hand, turns out (Y/n) had placed a fistful of Amethysts in her hand. “I saw this in the mines and thought about your purple hair, do you like it?” she asked.
“Like it? I love it! You’re the absolute best, (Y/n)!” Abigail gushed before the multi-job farmer turned to Sam.
“I heard from your mom you love this, and I got plenty,” (Y/n) said as she produced a tin of Joja cola and handed it to Sam. “Yo, thanks! I really like this! Thanks a whole bunch, (Y/n)!”
“And, Sebastian!” she said, as she held her fist behind her back, her other hand fiddling with her pouch. “Don’t think you can be friends with me that easi--” he was cut off by a forceful pull taking his arm and stretching it out, the palm open.
“Ah, you were already waiting for something?” the girl teased, making the other two snicker as the ravenette’s face turned red and looked away. “N-no,” he stuttered as he felt something warm then cold press into his palm.
He looked back into the open hand, a lovely crystal blue item resting on it, other than the slender body part that held his hand. A frozen tear. Sebastian looked at (Y/n) in disbelief. But the latter just smiled cheekily.
“I reached level 53 in the mines yesterday, and saw this little beauty. Looks like you, don’t you think?” she asked, a playful smirk on her lips as her gaze lingered to her feet.
Sebastian’s eyebrow lifted, as he expected the girl to continue what she was saying. “Small, and cold, don’t you agree?” she teased as Abigail and Sam burst out laughing.
Sebastian’s eyebrows furrowed in slight anger but more to amusement and his expression turned into his sour one (y’know, like one of his sprite design). “Sorry, sorry,” (Y/n) laughed. “But no, actually, it just reminded me of you, no lie.”
“Thanks,” Sebastian said, his face reddening as he realized he hadn’t pulled his hand from hers. “I...I really like this. How did you know..?” he trailed off. “Instinct, truthfully. You look like someone who loves things from the mines, am I wrong?”
“Right,” Sebastian said, before picking up another cue stick, handing it to her. “(Y/n). Wanna play a game of pool?” he asked, or more like challenged, as the two cheered slightly in the back. Abigail clutching onto Sam’s sleeve and he clutched her hand in slight panic to (Y/n) answer.
A small smile graced her plump pink lips, as the maiden accepted the stick the male held out for her to take. “I’m not too good at this, but I’ll give it a shot.”

Violet Sky – (Emily x Reader)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2.3k
Reader is Gender-Neutral/up to you!
You’re close to giving up when the weather channel predicts the twentieth sunny day in a row.
With you and Emily now reaching a whole year together as a couple, you were more than ready to propose to her, yet it wasn’t until you did some actual research on how to do that in the Valley that the sun suddenly started shining for days and weeks on end. It had been a customary act for you to have your watering can on the ready, crops still requiring their daily nourishment in spite of you feeling droopy and droopier with each day that went on with you being unable to find the dreaded Mermaid's Pendant.
Tired of waiting, you decide to walk over to the bar and invite Emily for a late-night walk around the beach, verifying the time to make sure you went in just twenty minutes before her shift came to an end. You pass by the usual road — the bus stop, Harvey’s clinic, and Pierre’s — until you reach the saloon, the muffled sound of music reaching your ears.
Gus greets you right as you step in while Emily turns her gaze to you, red lips curving into a smile as she stops her work to go approach you at the counter. In accordance to the troubled look on your face, however, it turns into a frown, red eyes softening as she reaches out for your hand, squeezing it softly.
“You doing okay, (Y/N)?” the blue-haired woman asks, lips parting as she goes to speak up again. “I can feel those vibes creeping from a mile away, and they’re not exactly cheerful. Is there something you want to tell me? You know I’m here to listen.”
“I’m fine,” you reply, breaking into a smile when her pale hand reaches out to cup your cheek, (s/t) complexion warming up under her touch. “I know you’ll probably disagree with me, but I really want it to rain for at least just one day.”
She giggles at your comment while you do the same, her concerned expression shifting into one of amusement as she lets go of your face, a tiny blush showing on her cheeks.
“It really must be tough for you, huh? The drought isn't helping the Valley’s soil, so I’m actually wishing for that, too — Even if I just end up heading over to the desert until the rain wears off.”
Emily turns her back on you after that statement, finishing off her last batch of silverware left to clean as she stares up at the clock marking only five minutes until she went out with you. You feel bummed at the thought you can’t offer her to move in just yet, though you push down those emotions and focus on asking her out, the violet sky perfect for watching the stars and strolling along the beach.
“Emily?” you call out, waiting until she places the last piece of cutlery in a drawer.
“What’s up? she asks, turning back to your side.
You notice she still has that blush tinting her face when she looks at you, a sight that makes you hold back the urge to raise an eyebrow, grin, and tease her as to why she was doing that.
“Wanna go for a walk after this? We can go to the beach, or. . . just hang out at my place.”
Pink changing to red, you feel you’ve made the wrong move when her cheeks are just the same colour as her lips. The woman only nods as she moves her hair away from her face and ties it up into a ponytail too short for it not to fall apart in an instant. You offer her your help, to which she accepts by turning around again and handing you the scrunchie. She waits as you comb your hands through her hair and bring it all together, tying it a bit stronger for it not loosen up.
“I’ll be there in a minute,” she states, redness fading away from her face as her mouth turns to a straight line, a stern gaze crossing her eyes. “But I need to go look for something at my house first.”
“Want me to wait for you?”
“You can’t — It has to be a surprise.”
You don’t know what to make of her serious tone and stare, though that falters quickly when a smile returns to her face.
“I promise it’s nothing grim or anything like that, so don’t go making that face when I come back! Those bad energies are back again, and I don’t want them anywhere near you.”
★ ★ ★
The horizon is a mix of dark blues and purples by the time Emily’s back, her voice sending relief right to your shoulders as you loosen up and see her approaching the shore, short hair still tied up with the exception of a few loose strands resting on each side of her face. She has her red dress changed for a more comfortable set of clothing, plus a beige messenger bag resting on her hip and a pair of black, open-toe sandals on her feet, though it still feels far fancier compared to the worn overalls you were wearing.
“You’re making that face again!” she huffs, placing her hands on her hips as her teasing tone chastises the worried frown on your face. “I warned you!”
Unsure as to what she meant with that last statement, you don’t have much time to react when you feel her hands push against your chest, sending you off balance as your rear meets with the sand humid with salty water. She lays on top of you, grinning as she watches the shore crash against you, sending an all-too cold splash of water over your body, her own salvaging itself thanks to the position she stood in. Caught entirely off guard, you can only manage laughing when it dawns that this was meant to be her form of punishing you.
You didn't like exhausting your overalls more than they already were, and she was aware of it.
While these were in fact worn and discoloured, there was a reason for them to look the way they did now. It had been a gift from the same woman currently standing on top of you, one she had given to you not long after you handed her the bouquet meant for declaring your affection towards her.
A whole year had passed since then, yet you were far from wanting to discard the overalls away. You smile at that thought, thankful for those memories despite the lingering concern that you would have to wait another year until proposing.
“That’s more like it!” she exclaims, shaking you out of your thoughts.
You look back up at her to see her still grinning, brighter than you’ve ever seen as her blushing returns.
“Now lets get you out of those clothes, (Y/N) — I brought a spare change ‘cuz I figured you would worry even though I warned you not to.”
Emily gets off of you and helps you up by reaching out for your hand, pulling you back to your feet. She takes out a small stack of clothes a little too neatly-folded for them to be a mere spare, though you don’t question it. Rather, you accept them with a smile and thank her, excusing yourself for her to turn around while you went to change your clothes.
“Tell me when you’re ready!” she mentions, joy present in her tone. “I’ve got something I want to show you.”
★ ★ ★
From the same bag Emily had taken the spare clothes out of, she retrieves a silver ring. Her gaze casts up to you when she gets down on one knee, one hand placed on her lap as the other offers the jewelry towards you. Her stern expression is back again, red lips refusing to part out of their line as she stares sharply at you. You wait for her to speak up first, not wanting to jump to any sort of conclusions despite your surmount of nerves, racing heart, and sweaty palms.
"I know this isn't the traditional way of asking, but. . ." Emily drifts off in her words, bracing herself by taking a pause and a breath. "Will you marry me, (Y/N)?"
You can't shake yourself off your frozen state, mind processing the fact that she had taken that initiative without so much as waiting for a long-due rainy day to show up.
"Emily, I. . ."
You don't know how to react.
Ever since you found interest in her beyond that of being her friend, you wanted to be the one to take every first step there was: to be the first one to ask her out at the Flower Dance, to be the first one to confess, and finally, to be the first one to propose. It hadn't occurred to you she could have taken initiative on her own.
At the sudden observation, you burst into a full smile, take her into a hug, and rest your face on her shoulder, hands holding her waist while she takes hold of your upper back. You let go only to strengthen your grip on her and twirl her around, giddy with excitement and the prospect of getting married soon. She returns your enthusiastic nature by grinning wide, eyes barely visible through the curtain of tears blocking her from seeing you, mouth puckering when she goes to place a kiss on your forehead, giggling afterwards.
“Now that’s what I’m talking about!” she exclaims, separating herself from you. A subtle trace of embarrassment is present on her voice, though her confidence and positive nature shine through all the same. “I couldn’t stand seeing you sad -- It’s worse than a rainy day.”
Sealing your engagement with a kiss, you break apart only to find another place to spend together in, going for the shore again, where the horizon’s turned to a full purple, cold breeze still prevalent and causing for the both of you to scoot closer towards each other. You offer her to rest her head on your shoulder, yet she takes initiative again by dismissing you and offering you to do that instead, smile encouraging you to accept.
“You need to allow yourself some ‘me-time’ every once in a while,” Emily speaks up, taking your hand. “I know you’re trying your best to make that farm bloom into something wonderful, but damaging your body and spirit will only shorten your time here.”
At the sudden tremble in her voice, you raise your head off her shoulder and look into her expression, smile still there yet conflicting with her watery eyes.
“I don’t want you to leave so soon -- especially now that we’ve taken this step,” she continues, squeezing your hand tighter than before. “So let me help you. Let me take initiative every once in a while and let yourself be taken care of every so often. A relationship works best when both people put equal amounts of effort into it.”
“I’ll. . .” You hesitate in your words, not quite knowing how to offer her some peace of mind in terms of that subject. “I’ll try my best. Thank you, Em.”
“And thank you, (Y/N), for being here today,” she returns, blinking away her tears to form a brighter gaze. “You may not think the same as me, but I think you being here after what happened at the saloon really shows your dedication.”
“Honestly? I just don’t wanna wait anymore. I was getting anxious since winter’s just around the corner -- and that means zero chances of rain ‘till spring.”
Her smile grows in response to your words, her body pressing closer to yours, enough for your shoulders to brush and for her short hair to tickle your face, the lingering scent of the saloon sticking to her. With her this close, you can feel the pace of her breathing, comforting enough to make you grow drowsy.
“I like your honesty, (Y/N),” she comments, letting out a laugh.
The wind blows harder, drowsiness taking over completely. You rest your head on her shoulder again, sighing when she runs her fingers through your scalp in gentle strokes, reaching to the top of your forehead and later the upper back of your neck. She plants another kiss on your lips before you drift off to sleep, the sight of the purple sky and the sound of the ocean the last things you can see and hear right as you fall asleep.
“Sleep tight.”
★ ★ ★
You wake up in bed, fully awake and refreshed -- a feeling that was rare working for both the Joja Corporation and the Valley. Joja was, to put it lightly, inconsiderate with its employees while the farm required plenty of attention, crops and animals taking the most out of your day. Emily’s nowhere near the bedroom, though you can hear the clinking of pots and pans in the kitchen.
Curious, you stand out of bed and rush to see her, heart racing when you spot her midway into your run towards the kitchen. You almost bump into her, though she manages to prevent that, the pot in her hands slushing and sending a puff of smoke in the air. She stifles a laugh and hands you the pot, telling you the name of the dish she had prepared when you’re incapable of identifying it on a first glance.
“It’s a bean hotpot!” she explains, kissing your cheek. “Figured you could use something to start your day off right. I have to go now, but promise me you’ll eat that, alright? If we’re going to live together, you have to eat a healthy meal at least once a day -- I don’t want you getting sick!”
With that, Emily takes her leave, giving you no space to utter a word of protest as she shuts the door behind her, leaving you alone with a fluttering heart and a large, steaming bean hot pot in your hands.
You smile late -- minutes long after her exit, overwhelmed by the change and the woman with the short, blue hair.
