I've made radfem centric pride flags everyone! Some are radfem only and some are for more than just rf's but will likely be used by mainly rf's.
Here's my favourite one I've made today:
Tumblr media
Optimistic communist/socialist radical feminist flag. This flag is for any radfem post-capitalist (e.g socialist, syndicalist, communist etc) who has faith in a brighter future for women and the working class. Someone who believes the total destruction of the patriarchy is possible, and who believes the destruction of capitalism is likely/guaranteed.
The blue stripe is for disabled people and solidarity with same (particularly disabled women/female people). The colour blue represents wisdom, health, and medical affairs.
The purple stripe is small because it's a transitional shade for visual appeal. It stands for homosexual/same-sex attracted females.
The pink represents women, and is a striking/distinct colour to represent the distinctness of radical feminism from mainstream feminism. It also is one of the colours of the sunset and shows that women's possibilities are as high as the sky.
The yellow background is mainly for visual appeal, however it also represents the happiness and energizement of optimistic radical feminists. It also represents wealth and the redistribution of resources.
The sun itself represents clarity, paths to progress, "light at the end of the tunnel" and optimism in general. The sun also represents life and vitality. The "childishness" of the sun's corona represents safety for children.
The reddish-gold is goldish because of the sun shining on it. The reddishness represents anti-capitalism, and the struggle/will of the proletariat.
The golden-brown stripe is thin for visual appeal. It represents land/earth/soil and is a symbol of anti-imperialism, landback, and solidarity with the people (especially women) who live on colonized or ex-colonized land.
The brown stripe represents women of colour, especially black and brown women of colour. It is at the bottom because women of colour are at the foundation of radical feminism.
The hammer and sickle represents socialism/communism, and the female fist represents the undying thirst for liberation by female people. It's a widely accepted feminist symbol.
Tumblr media
This one is the optimistic radical feminist flag. The red stripe still means anti-capitalism but this flag may be more suitable for optimistic radical feminists who are optimistic about culture change and significant destruction of patriarchy but not necessarily a total socialist revolution.
Tumblr media
Here's the standard radfem flag I made. Brown means WOC, blue is disabled women, pink is women/distinctness from mainstream feminism, and red means anti-capitalism.
The land stripe and the homosexual female stripe unfortunately looked ugly on this flag and in terms of aesthetics this flag is mid. I think the meaning is powerful but I don't want to make it uglier 😭
Optimists, pessimists, neutrals and really any form of radfem may enjoy this flag.
Tumblr media
This is the socialist/communist radfem flag, essentially a radfem who has more emphasis on post-capitalism. Neo-marxfem radfems may enjoy this flag.
Tumblr media
This is another version of the above but it's a lil ugly 💀
Ok onto some sexuality flags! These are all febfem (female exclusive bisexual female) flags because I'm febfem and I wanted to focus on these. I'll def make more SSA and gnc women flags but I got tired today.
Tumblr media
Standard febfem flag (made my own bc the ones online are strangely low quality).
I personally don't know what the individual stripes mean but it conjours thoughts of both the bisexual and lesbian flags because febfems are ofc, bisexual women. But also strongly decenter men like lesbians do. Being febfem is a distinct experience, thus the distinct colour pallette.
Tumblr media
This is an asexual febfem flag! So female exclusive biromantic females who are on the asexual spectrum may enjoy this flag.
Tumblr media
This is an aromantic febfem flag, so for febfems who are on the aromantic spectrum.
Tumblr media
This is specifically a demisexual febfem flag.
Tumblr media
This is specifically a demiromantic febfem flag.
Enjoy!

Aro culture is not feeling comfortable with assigning queer labels to dead people because a) there's only so much you can know about someone without knowing them personally b) it's entirely their business how they categorize relationships and c) more often than not it stems from amatonormative reasons "they couldn't just be friends!! because they did THIS!!!"
I'm not the only one uncomfortable with this, right?

its funny how some women on radblr will say bizarre lesbophobic shit in thee most biphobic way possible. like why are you (not you, that racist razz person) treating bisexuality as the ultimate condemnation huh?
they also act like bisexuality is anything that does not apply to them. i’m not into x group of women— must mean that the many lesbians who are are actually bisexual! there can’t possibly be any other explanation like idk .. differing preferences? individual differences?
it just seems like they think the only group that aren’t a monolith are bisexuals,, as lesbians we have to all like the exact same thing and have the same exact experiences and life story and if we don’t then the only possible reason why we don’t is that we are bisexuals apparently

Staying in the comphet is just. My mom would like you. You’ll touch my shoulder in three, two… one. Yes I am attracted to you. No I do not want you. I told my friend about you and her excitement made me feel more things than you ever will. Talking to you is like making all the cars stop so I can cross the road on a red light. I am only this confident because you’re that easy. You‘re a rock I stumbled over on the beach, plain, like the others, but mine. Maybe love is only real when you love something as ordinary as you. I could build a house of all these rocks to hide from the storm. I’ll stare at you the entire hour and not feel shame. Don’t care if you find out, it‘s not true anyway. You’re the best possible option (I calculated). Why does everything look the same? Never mind, stare back. Did I blush? It was an adrenaline rush, you can google it. Maybe you’re right. I’m feeling sick. This is disgusting, get out of my head. This house is on fire - get out, get out, get out.
False alarm. How’s one to know?

Headcanons about being in a mutually exclusive throuple with Wally Darling and Julie Joyful (Fem! Bi! Reader in mind, but you can apply it to your gender if you want.)
Julie was the first to fall in love with you. Wally took a little more time. He was always flirty with you, but one fine day, he realised it was more than mere amusing flirting. He truly admired you and loved you. It was helped by the fact that his darling Julie had practically adopted you. More love means more happiness.
Julie was more than happy to show you around in the Neighbourhood. You two became very sisterly friends at first. You both bonded on your love of crafts and giving back to community.
Wally, ever the flirt, always liked to tickle your hand or just scratch your head as he went away, just to see you blush.
You fell hard for Wally and his gallant, old school ways of going about his life (you are a vintage aficionado). He never fails to put you in a happy little trance when he sings to you or does his doe eyes.
They always insist that you sleep in the middle of the queen bed. But you sometimes do cajole Wally into taking place in the middle, some nights. He's an expert at cuddling with two harms, almost like a player (though the concept of players would disgust him). You love to smell Julie's candy-perfumed hair when you spoon her. And you are soothed by Wally's heartbeat and low voice when he hums as you spoon. When it's Julie in the middle, both Wally and you loves to tickle her.
Your neighbours at first found it peculiar, but they all embraced you three when they saw how happy you were.
Eddie married you three: ''By the power invested in me and Home's permission, I now pronounce you husband, wife and wife. You may now kiss each other (cue you three kissing, using both of Wally's cheeks and then Wally french-kissing Julie and you.).''
One fine day, Julie was now pregnant. You were more than happy to be that child's second mother. You named the child Julina.

Any other febfems are nervous when they come out as bisexual?
I get nervous when I tell people I’m bisexual with a female preference that they are going to try pressure/set me up with men. Does anyone have a similar experience?

They’re Not “Playersexual”, You’re Just Biphobic
(I was going to save this until September 23 because I thought that would be an appropriate date, but the Ask I got included in this essay just put me over the edge. So, here it is now. Buckle up.)
Bisexuality/Pansexuality is the attraction to people regardless of gender. About 4% of the USA alone (over 13.6 million people) openly identify as bisexual, according to Gallup’s latest polling. But unfortunately, bi/pan identities are so scary to some folks that they need to make up terms to avoid calling their favourite characters such. Thus, the term “playersexual” was born: a term to describe a game character who is attracted to the player character... regardless of gender.
If that sounds like it’s just a circuitous way of describing a bi/pan character, it’s because it is.
I first heard of the term “playersexual” almost a decade ago, from a Dragon Age fan complaining that Dorian was gay and thus it was “unfair” that she couldn’t romance him as female character. This fan said they wished BioWare would go back to Dragon Age II’s model of everyone being “playersexual” for “equality”.
Now, if you’ve actually played DA:2 and you’re not a bigot, you’re probably rolling your eyes just as hard as I did when I first read such a ridiculous statement. Well, prepare for this next one:
“When you make a male Hawke, Anders and Fenris are gay and Merrill is straight. Opposite is true if you make a female Hawke.”
These people are so afraid of bisexuality that they cannot even fathom its existence. They can believe in dragons and magic, but they cannot believe that a character is simply bi/pan. I find this especially hilarious for Anders, considering he had a canonical boyfriend, as confirmed both in-game and in The World of Thedas: Vol. 2 book.
I truly thought we were past this nonsense in 2023. I really, truly thought that. But then Baldur’s Gate 3 was released in full, and suddenly these same fuckers came out of the woodwork to bend over backwards avoiding calling these characters anything except bi/pan.
Tumblr media
Note how in the above Ask, the anonymous questioner actually doubles down on avoiding addressing these two characters in particular as bi/pan!
“Playersexual” doesn’t even truly work for the characters of Baldur’s Gate 3 regardless, because the definition is oriented around attraction to the player character… which these characters are not exclusively attracted to. Here are some examples that prove otherwise:
If neither Lae’zel nor Astarion/Gale/Wyll are in a romance with the PC, Lae’zel will say she plans on propositioning one of the men for sex at the night of the tiefling party. She also flirts with Karlach in party banter.
Shadowheart expresses interest in Karlach, (“I like her. She looks like she could throw me over her shoulder and carry me to safety, should the need arise”) as well as Halsin if he leaves the party, (“he may have been misguided, but I liked looking at him.”)
Astarion flirts with nearly everyone in the party, but to just pick two examples: he mentions Wyll is the type of princely figure he used to dream about marrying, and says to Shadowheart “such a grim name for such a beautiful flower”.
Gale used to date Mystra. He also debatably flirts with Astarion by offering him some blood, after Cazador’s battle.
Wyll flirts with Lae’zel in party banter, and also refers to Halsin as a “delight” and “hunk”.
Karlach seems to have a little crush on Jaheira by the way she reacts to meeting her. She also says of Halsin, “everyone in this camp wants to climb that oak”.
Please keep in mind these are just a few examples I’ve picked out from screening through the dialogue, and there’s even more that prove the attraction to different genders these characters have is not related solely to the player. It’s just part of their identities.
In the Ask sent to me above, the anonymous questioner said they “cannot see Karlach as anything except lesbian and Astarion as gay.” This is just as bad as saying they are “playersexual” in my opinion, because yet again it’s erasing their bisexuality/pansexuality. Worse yet, it’s doing it because of the way the characters act. You cannot measure queerness based on actions and appearances being in line or not with queer stereotypes—it’s not a scale! And bi/pan folks are just as queer as lesbian and gay men, by virtue of simply being bi/pan!
All in all, I think this entire “playersexual” debate boils down to the fact that some people still refuse to see bi/pan identities as anything but “discount straight”. And that’s why people are rightfully angry when folks try to further this myth by pretending bi/pan characters don’t actually exist.

So.. I'm confused about something. If your beliefs in radical feminism say that trans people aren't valid in their feelings of being trans, what's stopping you from making bisexual people not part of the LGB? B stands for bisexual. What if their sexuality is just a phase? What if they are *actually* just heterosexual? For that matter what's stopping you from excluding YOURSELF from the community? At some point, you can't exclude any more people from a space that wasn't supposed to be gatekept to begin with! -Vero of CFC
You people always use that word “valid”. It’s absolutely meaningless post modern nonsense. Trans people feel that despite having a male or female body, their feelings about it change reality. I’m not telling trans people how they feel. Because you’re right, I can’t know that. What I’m telling them is that their feelings don’t change their bio sex. I’m telling them their feelings don’t supersede the rights and dignity of women. That’s not at all the same thing as being same sex attracted.
If I tell you that I am attracted to both men and women you can believe me or not. It doesn’t change my sexuality. You can’t know how I personally experience sexual attraction. But if I tell you I’m an Olympic Figure Skater, that’s something external and material. That’s something that either is or isn’t. And it doesn’t matter how true I want it to be.
This isn’t about people being invalid or valid. It isn’t about telling others I know better than them how they feel. It’s me telling them that their feelings don’t change material reality.
And we don’t get to sidestep reality because language is limited and imprecise. We create words to express ideas and categorize things so we don’t have to start every conversation from the ground up. Think of the quote “a rose by any other name”. The word ‘rose’ is made up but the flower it refers to exists in the material world. And you and everyone on earth could declare a rose a tulip but as long as people needed to specify they’d find a way to invent the word rose again. It’s why every 3 years your movement declares old terms verboten. MtF and FtM got used until people got mad it didn’t erase the reality of bio sex and people just used those terms in place of “male and female”. Then the same thing happened with AFAB and AMAB. Now we’re onto TME and no one knows what anyone is talking about because at the end of the day, people are male or female and no amount of “validation” or the right words erases that reality.
I am bisexual because I am attracted to both men and women. Lesbians are women exclusively attracted to women. Gay men are men exclusively attracted to men. Straight people are exclusively attracted to the opposite sex. The LGB community formed because the thing we had in common- same sex attraction- is punished in most societies. It absolutely was designed to gatekeep. It was a civil rights movement- not a secret club house. The LGB have no more moral responsibility to admit opposite sex attracted people than black activists have to include white or Asian people.
“Queer” has nothing to do with it. Demi flux genderoo aroallo fox kin have nothing to do with it. A group of men that believe their internal state of mind makes them literally a woman has nothing to do with it. You people overran a movement for same sex attracted people, convinced everyone to call our community a slur, and demand that we center heterosexual teens too immature for a relationship thinking that makes them the same as a Gay man.
I’m tired of arguing with 19 year olds that read too much mlm fanfiction that having short hair and wearing hoodies from the boys section doesn’t mean they’re gay men. I’m tired of arguing with those same girls that the 45 year old man with pigtails and a pink pinafore sucking his thumb and holding a dolly on social media isn’t a brave woman defying The Man. He’s just a pervert.
