Vincent thought about Tracey's question. He... really though about it. He thought about it with all the intensity of a top notch scientist attempting to answer one of life's greatest mysteries with thorough and enlightened experimentation. Really, he was just high as hell yet stirred by the topic, so he was going to treat it like an exceedingly deep philosophical question.

"Because... there are things in life... that no one can do for you, or that no one can make you believe. You must do it for yourself, learn to believe it yourself instead of someone else telling you that it's true. He may very well have been a good person, and appeared fine to many, including Belle. But inside, he was still struggling with his own image, with his identity. Perhaps the Beast was who Belle fell in love with, but that was not who he felt he was on the inside."

And that led him down yet another rabbit hole. "If she had rejected his human form because she preferred the Beast, that would have been tantamount to telling him that she could not love his true self. One's self image is not only comprised of heart and mind, but appearance as well. The moral of the story might be that appearance should not matter, and that love is blind, but... it mattered to him. And if he cannot accept himself, then how is he to love her? One cannot truly love another and give of oneself unconditionally if one is buried in self-conflict."

Apparently getting high made Vincent a philosopher.

He did like the story of Shrek, though, even if he'd never heard of it before. That is, until he considered the princess' feelings. "Was she not upset at the change? Unhappy in her new form? And did he not care about her feelings?" he asked, having never seen any of the Shrek movies before

(LOL, for the funny!) Tracey hesitated when she saw the jar Vincent was investigating. "You might not want that one," she said. "I... That's catnip. It's a sedative, but... you know, I have no idea if it's safe for you."

Maybe it was. Maybe the suspicions she had about his biology were completely unfounded, and it would just be a nice cuppa for the man.

Or maybe it wasn't, and bad things would happen.

Perhaps it was unwise for Vincent to be snooping around in Tracey's kitchen, but... she didn't seem to mind. She had various spices and things, and he had gotten curious, opening one jar and sniffing the contents. It smelled... curiously good.

"It does not smell like a sedative," Vincent said, taking another sniff. It tingled in his nose and made him feel... a little more aware than he was a second ago. A little more jittery. "Are you certain?" he asked, because it was not the effect he might have expected from something labeled as a sedative...

luke fumbling in recruiting percy has to be one of his greatest failures. a beautiful thing the show does regarding luke and percy's relationship is building rapport between them through shared moments like settling into camp, eating meals together, but especially through swordfighting lessons. the swordfighting scene at the beginning of episode 8 not only reveals that percy and luke already share similar beliefs about the fear-based system the gods have cultivated, but it's clear the conversation stays with percy when he fights ares and later calls out zeus on his waning skills as a father and a king. however, luke's plan fell through the moment percy learned that the winged-shoes were meant to drag him to tartarus. not only that, but the shoes nearly killed grover, a friend percy cared for deeply. if nourishing loyalty and trust was the key to ensuring a partnership with percy, then it was luke's faulty planning, arrogance, and impatience that cost him the greatest ally he could ask for.

Of course! There’s a few different ones in there including the infamous e=mc2, but the majority are meant to calculate the energy released in a nuclear explosion. There’s also the Born–Oppenheimer (BO) approximation (which makes the assumption that the wave functions of atomic nuclei and electrons in a molecule can be treated separately) for the sake of his creative process. Admittedly t’s not 100% accurate (because nuclei and electrons CAN move at the same speed) but Donnie is working on the fly here with nothing but his still limited mortal brain and it has been accurate enough to aid his basic needs in blowing up Krang. So uh… just trust him on it haha!

Now Danny didn’t mean to make a Bootube channel. He’d meant to send that sleep deprived ramble to Tucker, but he had clicked on the wrong app and yeah. Apparently people enjoy his space rambles- or it could have been the ghost blob-cats that had decided to flop onto him. (Honestly he wasn’t surprised they would start to mimic the shapes of things in their surroundings)

Tucker? Found it hilarious, as did Sam and Val and… um, okay this has become their shared channel now, nice. Though there are some strange comments on some of the videos. Really, what do they mean green sky and crazy tech???

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.
