art isnt working well atm but i tried to doodle a rough possible redesign for an old OC, she used to have a name but i think im just gonna call her "The Captain" from now on

she leads a group of pirates that frequently rescues/frees demons that had been captured by hunters, she and the co-founder (Ki'ita) of the group also invented a form of solar powered sailboat that lets them carry out missions noone else can

she has an adult daughter whos in charge of the diver specialists while the captain herself and Ki'ita are the main agressors when a mission calls for the sinking of ships or similar ... that is if Ki'ita is around, which she usually isnt bc she mainly does solo missions in arctic waters and can be gone for months, returning only for a big feast and information exchange/replanning, leaving again after 1 or 2 days, so the captain does most of the visible work

the captain isnt fond of Ki'ita being so absent but also knows how important her work is, the two are rather close but only show so in private

It is now 23:00 and I’m so tired and have school and blegh. So enjoy this silly little jabbering of OC lore and my apologies for the typos that are bound to be incoming

The Nurse, Z-156

Also known previously as Andrew Laticdinae

Andrew before being subjected to the procedures from Urbanshade at the Hadal Blacksite was a nurse at the [REDACTED] hospital located within [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. During his round about runs a patient under his care, an elderly individual, known as [REDACTED], had passed after receiving a lethal dose of heart medication which sent the elder into cardiac arrest. The nurse responsible for the death was quick to pin the blame onto Andrew, and in his confusion, poor wording, and inability to afford a good lawyer, Andrew was charged with murder and sent to the [REDACTED] Prison.

It was here that he was eventually picked up by Urbanshade along with a select few other individuals.

Andrew during this time was put into a project which revolves around making agile, quick, deadly, and effective agents. He was one of the latest of these procedures, having been subjected to the mix of Nurse Shark and Sea Krait. The Sea Krait DNA provided Andrew with a scuted underbelly, a vicious venom [complemented with fangs], and a large paddle like tail that allowed him to comfortably, quickly and effectively navigate through the waters, able to Bob and weave between narrow spaces. The Nurse Shark mix also provided him with a primarily cartilage skeleton and a bite that’s near impossible to pry off due to the suction like bite. Should an individual be able to pull Z-156 off, if the venom doesn’t make quick work of them the large chunk of flesh that is pulled off along with Z-156 will certainly leave them in a world of hurt.

Andrew ended up as one of the more successful tests, however the animalistic appearance side effect was unwanted and needed to be worked out. After further study Andrew had been dropped, leaving him to ponder what his fate may become. In a desperate moment, Andrew pleaded to Urbanshade Personnel to allow him to opportunity to work as an on-sight-in-water medic, noting he had exponential experience before ended up in his current position.

It took days of back and forth [with help from his Docile nature] to finally get the Personnel to agree, granting him very very limited freedoms compared to the average experiment.

Though he was far from treated like an employee. Whenever he was to be out on his job, he was fitted with a muzzle to prevent any potential envenomation of divers, he could only eat within his room, was monitored around any medications and was heavily restricted on what he had access to as to prevent any potential attacks.

Despite it, Andrew preferred this over being cooped up in a room to rot or potentially worse, almost overworking himself some days out of fear. Even now a passing Expendable may find this friendly face sitting within the Blacksite, ready to offer up his services in exchange for Data. [This Data is given to Sebastian]

Mechanic Info

For 90 pieces of Data players can have their health restored from anywhere between 20-50 health. Do note though that this comes with a 25% risk of failure, in which the player will have 10%-20% of their health removed [this will not exceed 10 health however].

Players can also flash The Nurse a limitless amount of times on their first time meeting him, however continuing to do so with each meeting will result in him becoming short with the player. By the 7th - 8th meeting and flashing him twice, he will lash out and bite the player dealing a base of 10 damage. Though this in itself is fine, players will then receive 2 tickets of damage for up to 30 seconds. Players that were at 100 health will be knocked down to 30. This can be stopped with a medkit though or eating wall dweller flesh.

False Alarm, Z-326

Also know previously as Nouvel Nebula

Nouvel lived a relatively bland life before Urbanshade, married to their husband Clayton Nebula [OC Owned by @cyanide-cafe], and working various odd jobs they could find. They were relatively lax and had little concern, so when they ended up thrown in prison alongside their husband after suspected of being an acquaintance in his murders and defiling via cannibalism, they were thrown for a heavy loop.

Even during these harder times the two were inseparable and this became further apparent once picked up by Urbanshade and delivered to the Hadal Blacksite.

Here, the two were put under similar genetic splicing with small differences in DNA for the purpose of testing fertility between spliced genetics. Despite the difference in spliced DNA, Urbanshade was capable of producing 3 living offspring using their gametes in a controlled environment via test tubes, only one of which however was able to escape their termination date and still roams the facility unbeknownst to their supposed parents.

It wasn’t until their time in the Blacksite that Nouvel learned of the crimes that landed their husband here and, subsequently, themself, being absolutely horrified by the revelation and distancing themselves as much as they feesibly could from him during this period. The relationship became stiff and strained in this time, made further worse with the eventual separation of the two for their experimenting. Despite their disdain towards him at the time, he was the only comfort they had in this hellscape, falling deep into a mental spiral which further fueled their eventual sporadic behavior.

The extreme mental strain in this time from the constant experimentation, manhandling from personnel, separation and even occasional threats should they continue to lash out and attack, left them flitty about their behaviors towards Expendables. They seem to show more submissive behaviors when groups of 3 or more are around, being passive unless provoked, but the will quickly become incredibly hostile with groups of 2 or fewer.

Mechanic Info

False alarm is a small and agile monster, preferring to hide within dark rooms whilst waiting on unsuspecting Expendables to pass by. Though they are passive if groups exceed more than 2 players, flashing them will result in a hasty hit and run, where they damage the aggressor for 15 damage and then run off to a separate room.

If there are 3 or more in a party there’s a rare chance that False Alarm will even provide a small bit of information about item whereabouts for Expendables lingering in a room too long. This could be vague hints about flashlights, medkits, high priced data, or otherwise.

If there are 2 or fewer Expendables around, False Alarm becomes hyper aggressive, doing multiple hit and runs for 5 damage per hit, targeting the player with the least amount of health. Flashing them successfully 3 times will get them to back off entirely, ending the encounter for the rest of the run.

Be wary when False Alarm is around, for their companion Real Alarm is not far behind..

Theo Nebula, 326-327-5

Theo Nebula is the last of 5 offspring that had come as a result of the project behind Z-326 and Z-327. Theo ended up the most human and most viable of the 5, with the first 2 offspring having never successfully survived after being removed from incubation and the more recent 2 having been long terminated before Theo, as they had no use and were more hassle than they were worth, being far more monsterous in appearance than Theo. Despite being the most human, they still showed several physical changes and even risked a shorter life span due to their rapid growth [Looking almost 13 or so despite being 4 at most]. The project itself at least proved it was possible for mutations that had occurred on individuals could be passed down, and with more proper tweaking may even be able to be further selective about what can and can’t be passed down.

After Theo had been researched to their fullest extent and there wasn’t much use for them anymore, they were set to be terminated just as their previous two siblings. Luckily for young Theo, a familiar face sent the Blacksite into mayhem after releasing the monsters, allowing Theo to escape their fate of being terminated.

From time to time they can be spotted rummaging around rooms or heard crawling in the vents in their search for food and fueling their curiosity of the Blacksite. They’re cautiously curious yet incredibly skittish and will quickly run off whenever approached by expendables. It’s recommended to search where they were last rummaging through as this may provide Expendables with extra data or information

OC Marina Grayson

As a young man, Orm fell in love with a marine researcher. When she didn't return the next year with the pod of dolphins she was studying, he assumed she had been killed over their relationship bc it's something his father would've done. When he finds out it's actually bc he's a father and small children aren't allowed on research vessels, he peacefully abdicates the throne to his brother so he can marry the love of his life and raise his daughter in Gotham. Since he has the wealth of the ocean at his disposal, he purchases the local aquarium so they can still do marine research and start sharing some Atlantean knowledge with the surface world in order to help environmental awareness.

(HC for all Atlanteans) Atlanteans have scales they can display at will, and coloring is indicative of familial line. They also have facial markings when underwater and generally the bolder the better; more fierce and therefore beautiful. Orm inherited a Siren's Voice from his mother, and Marina was able to prove her ancestry with her Royal Gold scales and the incredibly rare Siren's Voice. Her facial markings look similar to a goth egirl, and are considered the height of Atlantean beauty. When she does her makeup on land she mostly just adds back her natural features, though the specific colors and shaping might vary a little. Dick is considered kinda ugly in Atlantis without the domino mask.

Because of her vocal ability, she had to visit Atlantis fairly often for training in control and as a backup heir to the throne. She was trained in traditional combat using a trident, but she's never felt right with the thought of ever needing to use it to take a life. The Atlantean public loves their kind and gentle surface princess, but the other court families think she's too free spirited and want to push their sons on her to keep the Voice within Atlantis.

She was Dick's classmate and acquaintances at the very least until she saved him from drowning in Gotham Harbor when they were 11. She dived in to rescue Robin, and was shocked to hear her classmate's voice thanking her. She paired up with Dick on their next school project so she could have an excuse to visit the Manor. She then confesses to Dick, Bruce, and Alfred to having figured out their secret, and tells them about her being Atlantean to show she's not intentionally a threat.

She and Dick become good friends after this since they can talk about their secret lives, and she joins the original Teen Titans when they form. She wrote the choreography for the team's lip-sync and dance videos for their official YouTube channel since, as younger millennials, they were some of the first heroes to publicly goof off on the internet in costume.

At one point during a school dance, she slapped her own date for calling her best friend a "dirty gypsy." There was a month or so when they were 15 where Dick did date Starfire, but there's no hard feelings or jealousy from it.

In high school, she was a competitive diver and worked at the aquarium as a mermaid in the shark exhibit in her spare time. She picked up air ribbon acrobatics as well because it's the closest thing she can do on land that feels like being underwater.

I'm undecided as of yet how they started dating, but Dick proposed with his mother's necklace. Some Romani vistas (I've heard) use coin necklaces, so I think he'd use his mom's the same way ppl use heirloom rings. It amuses Wally to no end that Circus Boy has a royal title and his favorite teasing nickname is "Your Highness."

Marina quit being a vigilante as they got older because it was getting harder to pull her punches as she got stronger. She recognized that it would be devastating for Surface-Atlantean relations if either the Princess or a representative hero killed someone even on accident, so stepped back to be a more supportive role as Surface Ambassador and post patrol medical assistance. Most of her work as Surface Ambassador involves negotiating ocean cleanup and environmental improvements on a governmental level with the various world powers.

She absolutely does not want to inherit the Atlantean throne. She despised her tenure as Regent while Arthur was dead before he was brought back to life in Darkest Night, and gave the throne back the very next day so she could go home.

While Bruce was stuck in the time stream, she was fully on board with Dick over legally adopting Damian. Sometimes he'll actually call her Ummi since she's more affectionate than Talia, especially when he's overtired. She does eventually adopt him under Atlantean law by challenging Talia for Mother's Rights. Since their fight was underwater due to Atlantean rules and Talia wanting whatever's best for her son, Marina wins and Damian is technically royalty as well now too. She's not even mad that Talia let her win, and gains a new respect for her as a mother who's willing to let her child go for a healthier upbringing than she could give.

When at home or for some semblance of privacy in public, Dick and Marina speak a blend of English and as much Romani as Dick can remember. Sometimes they'll include some Atlantean for extra security in public, but as English is Marina's first language they don't usually bother.

In the public eye on the surface, Dick is considered the trophy husband with a day job as a detective. He kinda loves their visits to Atlantis bc he's actually taken seriously as Dick Grayson without his pretty privilege. He can actually be his fully intelligent self there without the Atlantean public being shocked that he has more than a single brain cell.

Marina fully encourages sibling shenanigans amount the younger Batfam. She and Dick used to prank Bruce after all, and it's good and healthy bonding for them.

Jason is the adorable little brother who was taken too soon and came back angry yet still just as loved. She's kinda neutral about Tim but fully supports his tinkering and pranking shenanigans, and he likes her coffee more than Alfred's. Unfortunately I haven't known about most of the rest of the younger members long enough to have any relationship specifics in mind, but she's kinda like the cool auntie to all of them who will absolutely provide mischief supplies and assistance. No questions asked, just immediate "here you go I didn't see or hear anything."

“How—“ Bradley breathed deeply as he lifted himself on the stern. “Did you... stay down there... for so long?ˮ

“Breathe slowly,ˮ Lucy crouched down beside him, draping his backside with a towel, and rubbing it soothingly. “Youʼre going to wear yourself out.ˮ

It was a beautiful Monday morning, and Lucy was able to access a company yacht with the help of a few friends who pulled some strings. A few days after the dinner at the Vineyard, Lucy reached out to Bradley if he wanted to go out for a swim. Of course, Bradley didnʼt pass up the chance to see Lucy in a bikini — an olive- colored two-piece at that. They dove beneath the pristine ocean waters, swam among the sea life, and basked beneath the sun on the gunwale. Now, sitting together on the stern of the ship with their feet dangling in the waves, Bradley and Lucy shared a mango from Lucyʼs snack basket.

“Want some more?ˮ Lucy offered, beginning to peel another mango with her little blue pocket knife

“Iʼm okay Angel, thank you.ˮ Bradley smiled.

“Suit yourself!ˮ She replied, relishing yet another slice from the porcelain bowl. Bradley chuckled, enjoying the view of Lucy, as she wiggled her shoulders jauntily with every bite, the way her salted locks swayed in the breeze, and her infectious smile.

“How long have you been free-diving?ˮ Bradley asked her.

“I really started when I moved out here for college,ˮ She told him. “But Iʼve always loved to swim — ever since I was a little girl in El Nido.ˮ

“Have you ever held your breath for more than 12 minutes?ˮ

“You timed me?ˮ Lucy raised a brow.

“After our second dive in,ˮ Bradley answered.

“I have,ˮ Lucy nodded staring out into the horizon. “Itʼs not impressive — most divers can hold their breath for 10 minutes or so.ˮ

“Why do you always sell yourself short?ˮ Bradley frowned, as he tucked her into his side with his arm. “Donʼt you know how amazing you are to me?ˮ

Lucy laughed and with a growing blush on her cheeks, she turned to him in his arms and let her fingers trace the scars on the side of his face.

“What happened?ˮ Lucy whispered.

“A bad car accident,ˮ Bradley paused before telling her. “My mother had just died… and I was drinking.ˮ

“They must have really hurt,ˮ Lucy kissed them. “Iʼm sorry.ˮ

“Iʼm alright now Angel,ˮ Bradley smiled. “Theyʼre only reminders now.ˮ

“Badass reminders,ˮ Lucy affirmed. “And you wear them so handsomely.ˮ

“We make a good-looking pair you and I,ˮ Bradley smirked. Lucy offered another morsel of mango and Bradley gladly took it between his lips. He stared down at Lucyʼs chest — and above her lovely breasts were her string of small pearls, her little metal cross, and Bradleyʼs butterfly charm scintillating in the sun.

“You know— I can think of another place we can bring that basket of yours,ˮ Bradley smiled.

Synopsis: Kaida could lounge around in the bay the whole day when it meant Seonghwa was with her

There were many prospects when it came to living on a remote island with dozens of secluded beaches. One of them being barely any people were around, meaning one could lounge on the warm sand the whole day without any disturbance.

The biggest prospect - in Kaida’s eyes at least - was the snorkelling around the bay together with the most handsome merman she could imagine.

She glided through the crystal clear water, basking in the warm sunlight above. The sand on the seafloor showed little ripples from the constant waves washing above it. Every now and then Kaida spotted small fishes and crabs rushing between smaller rocks and empty shells.

Kaida took a deep breath through the snorkel and swam down to the ground. The movements of her hands stirred the sand underneath her but she was able to pick up a shell nonetheless. She turned it around in her hands, mesmerised by the iridescent colours.

Seonghwa saw the human from afar and reached her with just a few flicks of his tail. He circled Kaida for a while until the movement finally caught her attention. With an awkward grin displayed on his face he swam closer to you, waving his hand in a greeting.

Kaida put the shell into a small linen bag she carried with her and stretched one hand out towards him, grinning as well when he grabbed her hand and pulled her into his body.

Seonghwa pointed to the surface and quickly pulled Kaida along when she nodded. “It’s still easier to communicate like this”, he chuckled and watched her pull the snorkel and diving mask off her face.

“That’s true”, she giggled and secured the gear at the strap of her linen bag. “So, where do you want to swim this time? Any place you want to show me today?”

The merman stretched out on the surface of the sea - even crossing his hands behind his head. Once again Seonghwa circled her form, glancing at her every now and then while he pretended to think about her question. 

She laughed and splashed some water at him, knowing he was in a playful mood today. With a little struggle she latched onto him, wrapping her arms around his middle and letting Seonghwa pull her through the water.

Seonghwa grabbed her sides and pulled her up against his chest, telling Kaida to take a deep breath, before he dove down with her in his arms. Seonghwa loved the way she had her arms tightly secured around his neck. Though when he noticed Kaida only had her eyes closed shut and her face basically pressed into his chest, Seonghwa grabbed the diving mask and carefully placed it on her face again.

Kaida grinned, feeling his gentle touches. She used an old divers trick to clear the mask and open her eyes again. 

While the surroundings definitely were a sight to behold, Kaida caught herself staring at Seonghwa instead. She wished this moment - or rather the time together with Seonghwa - would never pass. 

Seonghwa swam through a kelpie forest, his heart skipping a beat when he saw her fascinated expression as a swarm of fishes passed them. He stopped with her still in his arms, raising one hand to brush his fingers over her cheek. 

Kaida pulled the diving mask off of her face again, leaving her eyes closed and leaning into the soft touch of Seonghwa’s fingers. Even though she couldn’t stay under the sea for eternity, she’d definitely savour every second she could have down here.

Seonghwa leaned down and pressed his lips onto hers. One arm was wrapped around her middle, holding her secure against his body while his free hand cupped her neck. 

Sadly both of them had to separate and swim up to the surface, gasping for air. One single kiss was already enough to steal away their breath.

🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?

As a plantsim, Poseidon has a natural-born leafy "tattoo". Actually I didn't know plantsims' skins could be changed until he aged into a young adult, and the leafy part is a removable hidden accessory.😅 But anyway it looks cool. If he wants some artificial tattoos, I can only add them on his fingers, or feet.

🐷 PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal?

Seahorse. These little creatures are quite valuable for scuba divers after all.

🍎 RED APPLE — where was your oc born? do they still live in/around their place of birth or do they live somewhere else? how do they feel about their birthplace?

Poseidon was born in Moonfall Island, a substitute version of Moonlight Falls, his family moved to New Island Paradise (a substitute version of Isla Paradiso, you know I couldn't play the laggy land on an antique computer) when he aged into a child. He doesn't really remember much about the misty town. Although he isn't hostile to other occult life states, the gloomy atmosphere of Moonfall Island makes him uncomfortable undoubtedly.

💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?

He can restore both energy and water through photosynthesis. Besides, thanks to Plantsim Power Mod, he has the ability to teleport. So he is able to spend more time doing other things.

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?

Poseidon is a good-hearted thief. Speaking of his only negative trait, the game itself must take full responsibility. Poseidon had a happy and health toddlerhood. However the game judged it as imperfect (just because he didn't need to get potty training) and gave him kleptomaniac in childhood. Poseidon never pinches obvious valuables in your eyes, but flowers or trees in the town, there's nothing to worry about.

Is it okay to ask if we could lean more about your OCs in the Finfolk AU? Like, what’s their work life, the roles they’ll play, what are their hobbies, and what was the inspiration when creating them? Oh, and will we see your butterfly OC by any chance? I love butterfly characters because of the unique and mesmerizing wing patterns.And fun fact, some butterflies are actually attracted to blood.

I don't mind at all! Though I've never been one to make many OCs. It was only until after Welcome Home did I consider making any at all so they aren't really finished. Also I am an indecisive person on personal creative projects like this.

Both Ankor and the butterfly OC are works in progresses since I could not decide on their appearance and backgrounds, but I do have a general idea of what I want them to be so I'll share!

Ankor, who might be renamed to something more fitting, is supposed to be a shark-like dog similar to Barnaby but his features are much more sharp and he gives off an aura of strength. I got this inspiration from seeing funny videos of sharks acting like puppies around some divers because they wanted pets on the head (they were literally pushing each other out of the way for a good scratch it was so cute).

Ankor's character is that of someone who loathes injustice so he often goes about setting things right. Or well, making the scales even. He's not a "good guy", but he's not really a villain at heart. He cares about others but he does things in a violent and lethal way. More often than not, he'll be wearing silk-like furs that are really just selkie furs. No, Ankor isn't hunting them or anything like poachers do, it's actually just a good way to try and find the coat's owner because he usually does concerts near coastal regions (Side explanation: I personally think in a world of magical creatures and normal ones there would absolutely be people sick enough to hunt others for their magical qualities so I added poachers in this universe because it adds a bit more depth and danger to anyone with magic in them). He has a giant audience which means there will be lots of eyes that will see the coat so someone is bound to come forward later and get it back. He repeats this over and over whenever a new coat is found and given back to the owner. Oh, but do not lie to him. He will absolutely know when someone is lying, and he does no take well to others lying straight to his face.

As for the music he does? I'm still deciding on that.

During his free time, Ankor sometimes visits the island to see Barnaby and just hang out. The island is very quiet, there's no chance of him being tracked there, and the finfolk that Barnaby lives with all have useful items that he often buys from them. It's a win win honestly.

Onto the butterfly OC. That one I almost got rid of.

Bit of a rant sort of, it's still a touchy subject to me

At the time last year, I don't remember around what month, but it was when Welcome Home was booming, I ended up getting lots of messages from people on X about my OC and if I could draw NSFW art of her or draw Wally. The fandom seems to have this pattern of wanting NSFW from artists of either the WH characters or their OCs. It is very concerning behavior and I decided to drop anything that could possibly be NSFW or leaning towards it in any way even though I wanted my OC to be sexy or drop dead gorgeous (she's a butterfly, of course she needs to be that). But it appears that adults on X and in this fandom are too immature for that.

Her whole design was something I wanted to be alluring because of her nature. I actually did take in the fact that butterflies drink blood, sweat, and tears literally, purposefully irritating the eyes of animals to make them cry, or eating dead flesh off of reptiles. I was thinking of making her a beautiful vampire but decided against that because it felt too generic.

I think, if butterflies could truly gain higher sentience and they became giant they would not be kind at all, but flesh-eating monsters that used their pretty looks to lure others in or take advantage of others. Also, my gods, their wings would probably get massive if they became even human-sized. Gorgeous, but massive enough to cause damage.

I didn't really take the chance to flesh out her character, but I did with her personality. She has a deep French accent and a gentle but elegant aura to her and with every step she takes she looks like royalty. And she'll still keep that act up when she's drinking away at her victim's life force and blood. I wanted this OC to be as cold as ice, but lovelier than the brightest star.

If she did have a job, I could only imagine it would be modeling at fashion shows, being a designer herself, being in ballet shows, or some sort of famous singer.

As for personal non-fandom OCs? I have very few, barely even two. In fact, these two are just a mere idea of a story I want to make, but I'm not sure how.

I'll share it some other time because I really have no idea of how I can possibly express these ideas other than imagine Swan Lake, but the guy she's in love with is an evil dark lord that wants to take over the world and she's a rogue knight from an opposing kingdom that's trying to kill him and they have no idea who each other are they just want each other dead but they find each other so pretty they can't do anything about it. 😭

Tani was a young child when the battle of the Hallelujah Mountains took place so she stayed back with her grandmother and other children while the elders looked after them. She had an older sister named Zetey the same age as Neytiri who was killed in battle and regularly talks to her at the spirit tree

Experiencing war at such a young age significantly changed her and the way she acts, many elders in the clan commend her for her stoic attitude and maturity.

She leads a very hectic lifestyle serving as one of the high ranking warriors in the clan under Jake's leadership alongside her parents

Soooo.... Cringe dead right OKAY

i have a ninjago fan season which serves as a technical crossover with other action-oriented toyline media starting with DRAGONS.

After watching these, I thought water was the next obvious element. Too bad there wasn't a third movie. I figured if there was one it should feature a new character completely different from Kyra and Dev. That's how I got the idea for Safira.

She's a young pearl diver who is forced to leave her home after an evil ice wizard takes over. She ends up in Ninjago where she meets my oc Odette. The two join forces with Lloyd and his team to kick a$$ and save dimensions. Safira can control water with a magic dragon scale, and has a blue and green color scheme to go with it. While a gentle soul she's also a pushover and VERY overwhelmed by the amount of troubles she is facing. She just wants to go home.

These are my versions of Kyra and Dev. In their movie they were given the powers of fire and air. Here they still have powers but aren't considered elemental masters since they got their powers from a different source. They fought the bad guy in the past. They pop up every now and then to help out.

Top right: Violetta as an underwater cavern mermaid. I’m fascinated (and afraid) of water-filled caves, and I thought it would be really cool to have a cryptid like mermaid in one. Whether she’s real, the figment of divers’ imaginations, or the reason for the cave’s high number of diving deaths…we will never know

Bottom left: Immy as a mermaid princess ❤️ anytime i imagine her as a mermaid I think of those colorful Barbie mermaids. Perhaps she helps Captain Rutherford through a shipwreck and saves his entire fleet…she tries not to be seen, but the Captain is haunted by the vision of a beautiful woman

Bottom right: Sinag doesn’t have a mermaid au, so I’m using Leo Hawke. During a tiring voyage, Captain Isabela drops her telescope in the ocean. She’s frustrated - it’s a new one, one that cost her a pretty penny. During the quiet dawn the next day, she feels herself drawn to a voice…and on her deck sits a merman, with her telescope in hand.

Brain is too fried atm and I don’t wanna forget anyone 😭 pls feel free to do this if you see it. I personally love dollmakers like this and I just adore mermaids so again Ty Leo this had me pull up fun mermaid stories w my ocs

I literally NEVER use tumblr except to stalk my fixation tags but I know that the my time series has a relatively sizeable fandom here so I thought I’d use this opportunity to share my My Time at Sandrock ocs! I love sharing stuff like this so if anyone ever wants to share infodumps abt their ocs or just the series in general I’d love to meet more people into it! <3

Anyway here r the ocs 🥳 I’ll introduce them individually under a read more (I think that’s how tumblr works? I don’t use this enough)

Clarice is a 26 year old Sandrock native. While her parents are originally from Walnut Groove and Vega 5, they moved to Sandrock in the peak of the relic rush era and decided to stay, even after everyone else had packed up and jumped ship. Clarice herself is an aspiring opera singer, who loves all sorts of old world music. Her life goal is to travel across the free cities and perform, but for now she remains in her hometown, and the Blue Moon’s guests remain her most loyal audience. Clarice is the type of person who it’s easy to get along with - she’s a good listener, kind and gentle, and treats everyone with respect, even when she disagrees.

Calliope is a 23 year old acolyte of the Church of the Light. She was born in Meidi, to parents who were both extremely devout followers of the Church. Technology was strictly banned for her household, as were any sorts of old world paraphernalia. Growing up, Calliope became very interested in the old world, indulging in her interest in secret. After training under the Church in Meidi, she made a request to be stationed in Sandrock - the most accepting city state of old world relics, and is currently on a three year service. Despite not believing in the church’s teachings at all, Calliope is very devoted to her job, although it’s her dream to be a professional ruin diver. She’s very cheerful and tries to get everyone to be the best person they can be, even if sometimes she comes across as a little pushy, and doesn’t really leave a lot of moral support for herself.

Topher is a 29 year old Civil Corps Officer. Raised in one of Atara’s more wealthy families, Topher is used to having everything handed to him, on a silver platter no less. As he grew up he became much more spoiled and developed a lot more of an attitude. Unable to cope with his attitude, his parents were able to pull a few strings and get Topher enlisted in the Sandrock Civil Corps, in hope that Sandrock’s harsh climate and more dangerous jobs would straighten him out a little. Despite this, he still manages to be as pompous as ever, often redirecting all of his jobs to Unsuur when possible.

Adelaide is a 28 year old builder! Born on the border of Lucien, she was caught up in Duvos skirmishes from a very early age. After losing her mother at war, her and her father packed up and headed to Highwind. Adelaide learned to toughen up from a very early age, knowing that if she had to return home for whatever reason, she’d have to do it a lot stronger than she had been. She lives a relatively comfortable life, impulsively switching up on jobs every few years. At the moment, she’s on a building kick, and moved to Sandrock on a complete and total whim - who knows where she’ll end up, though? She tends to be snarky and overconfident and a bit of a bastard, always picking fun at people. Despite her short height, she’s incredibly feisty and always aims to prove how strong she is! She’s shipped with Pen :> gotta draw them at some point

And then there’s Hestia! A 24 year old builder who serves as my self insert for the series! (I still made up backstory for them tho cuz. Ofc) Hestia was born in Portia but due to her parent’s wanderlust was moved around constantly - every few months or so - until he and his parents eventually settled in Highwind East. Her builder father passed away in a co-gliding incident soon after, and her botanist mother, as a response, went into a workaholic frenzy, often forcing Hestia into her work with her. Hestia got to visit Sandrock multiple times in his youth as a result of this, though it wasn’t until he ran away from home several years later that she’d return for good to become a builder. She’s shipped with Fang, bc he’s my favourite :>
