Mostly the MCU. Frostiron my beloved 💕 I recently posted a Huskerdust fic, though, and a couple years ago I posted some Good Omens stuff! I have another Good Omens wip brewing, but I haven‘t worked on it in a while.

4. Top five fics by kudos

First one up would be Your Call, a multi-chaptered ABO Frostiron thing that‘s sadly unfinished because I‘m not happy with where it was going somehow. Then Corners of Reality, my baby, Yes or No, Dereliktion and last but not least Vita Nova!

5. Do you respond to comments?

God I try. I’m so bad at it though. On long fics I always answer comments on the last chapter when I post the new one, but I keep forgetting to reply to comments on older chapters or oneshots😭 They all mean the world to me though.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Ohh I wrote a few angsty oneshots but it‘s been a while. Maybe Here, that‘s the most recent one. Of the older ones I remember all my light most clearly. Tony is dead or dying in both of these lol, poor Loki.

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I like to think the happiest endings in stories are ones you had to fight for a little bit, so maybe Dereliktion. That was a long ride filled with angst and messed up relationships lol. I think Haywire (my first and so far only Sentinel/Guide fic, I love that trope a lot akfj) also has a pretty fluffy ending, and I have some oneshots that are pretty much all fluff!!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Occasionally? Just the other day I got another anon ask on here complaining about my recent stories. Makes me extra thankful for everyone who takes the time to tell me they enjoy my stuff!!💖

9. Do you write smut?

I do! Pretty much all the time lol. I love writing Dom/sub relationships!

I don‘t think I‘ve ever written one before?

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yesss. I‘m not sure if they just didn’t know any better though, they deleted the copied parts as soon as I told them.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes!! I‘m always so happy when that happens!!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Also yes. One year I did a whole Frostiron Advent calendar with @rabentochter (do you remember this????? How did we have the time??????? Insane) and we wrote a few more collabs beyond that.

Frostiron!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my sassy messed up geniuses lol

15. What’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Uhhh I‘ve got a few. I‘d like to finish/rewrite Your Call. Once I also had the cracky fever dream of Loki doing random standup comedy shows in New York because he‘d KILL that. Can you imagine the sarcasm. The gallow‘s humor. Anyway I started that and then realized I Cannot Write Standup Routines at all. So there‘s that.

16. What are your writing strengths?

What I like to write the most is character and relationship development, so hopefully I‘m decent at that? Also dialogue, I hope, but that kinda comes and goes depending on the conversation.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I kinda suck thinking of longish plot that goes beyond “will they kiss?? Will they FUCK???” so I’ve been trying to practice that. Also scenes with lots of action😭

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I like it. I’ve been wanting to write a fic where Tony can properly show off his language skills but I don’t know enough languages to pull that off lol

19. First fandom you wrote in?

The VERY first was Dracula, back when I was 13 or so. I had a big thing for van Helsing back then. My first fandom on ao3 was Once Upon a Time!!

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Ooohhh. That would be Corners of Reality, because I worked on it for years before I even started posting it and I love how it turned out. It’s a slow burn time travel enemies to friends to almost lovers to enemies to friends to lovers to enemies to allies to lovers fic. I had SO much fun writing it I still think about it all the time😭😭

Ship It (I SHIP IT HARD.)

What made you ship it?

Around the time the first Avengers movie came out, I was just dipping my toe into Tumblr and Twitter fandom. I found and started following a ton of RP accounts on Twitter. And since RDJr is my favorite ever since Weird Science, there was a lot of Iron Man fanart on both of my dashboards. Shippy fanart started to slip in -- and while Stony was very prominent, so was FrostIron. My love for Loki had already started to bloom (plus, I was fascinated that IRL British Ginger Dork could, with a little hair dye, become My New Favorite Villain), and seeing him constantly paired with My Favorite New Hero -- and there was A LOT of very cool art --made me go Ooh. Plus, I befriended this awesome Tony RP writer who had an awesome RP thread with a Loki, and that, plus all the fics I started to read, just plunged me, heart eyes first, into SHIPPING IT HARD. I watched the movie 10x in the theatre, started watching all the interviews with RDJr and Hiddles, and eventually, I read a college au (that I loved) and decided I could totally write them even tho I hadn't written anything in a couple years. Thus, Dark Side.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

Besides the whole enemies-to-lovers thing? And besides the fact the ship was comprised of two of my favorite actors (at the time)? I mean, their whole dynamic is not so secretly my ideal relationship. The sarcastic barbs lobbied back and forth that rests comfortably atop the sexual tension the ability to keep up with each other is flamed on by. The intelligence that kind of quipping and humor requires -- and let's face it: someone is always hotter when they can stimulate your mind and your body. Add in the bonding that can happen over the shared Terrible Paternal Relationship and The Trauma That Makes Our Humor So Great and how they can heal each other, the debate between science vs. magic, and how they're much more alike than one would think. The fics that explore how discovering how much they have in common and how they learn to see each other in a different light (whether superhero and supervillain or not) are some of my faves and an element I often insert in my own fics. IDK, I just love them.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Not really? Any gripes I have are more with authors' characterizations of them. I don't go telling anybody they can't write them the way they choose, tho. I just nope out of fics that have anything I don't want to read. And then I write my own. :D

WinterFrost

Ship It

What made you ship it?

Similar to FrostIron, I discovered WinterFrost through mostly RP. But probably what made me fall head over heels for this pair was dipping my toe into RP myself. The friend whose Tony Stark I loved mentioned in convos that they wanted to start RPing a Bucky but wanted him paired with a Loki. They asked me if I wanted to try my hand at RP, so I did. This was about 6-7 months before CA:TWS was released, so there wasn't much if any, WinterFrost content yet -- and it was actually still called Lucky at the time. Anyway, Bucky was post-CATFA, and my Loki was post-Avengers (we mutually decided to start there instead of post-The Dark World). They randomly met and organically began to fall in love. The truth is, this ship is special to me bc, as we wrote Bucky and Loki falling in love, we were falling in love. So, it's all kind of woven together with my own love story. Kind of bittersweet now.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

There is a bit of a dark element to WinterFrost that I'm kind of drawn to. The RP was the only place I ever really explored that (kind of) -- although I did have an idea to turn my PWP WinterFrost into a serial killer AU. I eventually abandoned that idea. For a lot of reasons. By dark element, I mean the darkness in both characters potentially being compatible and flourishing. Bucky as the Winter Soldier was almost devoid of emotion (except when he saw Steve, in the movie at least); Loki, in contrast, was highly motivated by his emotions but kind of let himself get battered and embittered by them. At least the way I wrote my Loki. Beyond that, there is a great capability for them to bond over their trauma (again, similar to FrostIron). There is no bigger troll than Bucky (c'mon, he grew up with Steve Rogers, ffs), and Loki would relish in the chaos Bucky would cause with his commentary. I feel like there's a mutual mending they can do for each other. Loki can help Bucky battle his demons -- as a demon slayer himself -- and Bucky can show Loki a love like he's never known.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Nah. Similar to FrostIron, it's down to characterizations. I'll literally read anything about these two.

What made you ship it?

I was already into FrostIron and WinterFrost -- and RPing both. So it was kind of like, "I ship Tony and Loki and Bucky and Loki, why not Tony and Bucky?" I RPd that for a bit, too. I haven't read or written a lot of this ship, so I'm not sure what I like beyond it being two actors I love, two characters I love, and liking that they could both find a little bit of happy with each other. Also, it's interesting to think about the internal crisis Tony would endure for falling in love with the man responsible for his parents' deaths.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I honestly have no idea. Like I said, I haven't really dug deep into this one yet, like I have FrostIron and WinterFrost. It's definitely one of my smaller ships.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

No, but I wish people would leave WinterIron shippers alone. Way too much hate flung at this ship and the people who write it. It's annoying.

Pepperony

Don’t Ship It

Why don’t you ship it?

Honestly? It's because of Gwyneth Paltrow. I don't like her, as an actress, as a personality, as a hawker of vag candles -- whatever. I never liked her portrayal of Pepper. And don't come for me, y'all, bc believe me, I know how this sounds -- but I thought she looked too old to play Pepper. Yes, she was only 34, and RDJr was 43, and that's an age gap in itself (and coincidentally, Leslie Bibb was 35, which btw she does not look older than GP and...yeah). I think I felt the way they were portraying Tony Stark's womanizing ways it didn't make sense (to me!) that he'd go for someone closer to his age and stick to younger women. (Blame my brother. He's been dating girls my age and younger since high school. His first son's mother is my age. She was 4mo along when we graduated from hs. He dated a slew of girls near or around my age well into his 30s. His second son's mother was 6yrs younger than me. He's gross, I know. I tell him all the time.) Anyway, I love Tony and Pepper's dynamic in the comics (the few I've read), and when I RPd a Pepper (I did not use GP; I used my idea of a perfect Pepper: Jessica Chastain), I was told the way I wrote her was closer to comic!Pepper than MCU!Pepper, which I gathered was a good thing. People often misunderstand that my distaste for Pepper has nothing to do with the character herself. I LOVE the character. I think she's a badass, and I think she's the best working partner Tony could have -- which is why probably why I always writer her as Tony's closest confidant. But I also think they did Pepper a disservice by casting GP.

What would have made you like it?

A different actress, lol.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

Like I said, I love the character of Pepper. She's a great foil to some of Tony's more grandiose ideas and she has a way of handling him without him realizing he's being handled. Maybe I'd ship it if she didn't start out as his secretary? There's something very creepy about a relationship between a boss and a secretary to me. Idk. As Besties, I love Tony and Pepper. Beyond that? No.

Okay. Yes, I'm behind by a couple of months, but we all know how life happens. Thank you for being patient while I finished March, and now I have April to tackle before I get to may. …Then lifted it up.

Loki was staring.

He didn't mean to do it, even as he watched the Asgardians weaponsmith chat away to his friends, a million dollar smile on his face as always that has charmed its way into Loki's heart, though the genius' eyes flicked around the room, fingers nervously tapping away at his leg.

Loki wondered why Anthony seemed so nervous. Not that he should care. Anthony and him were more acquaintances, nothing more, nothing less. At least, that's what Loki told himself.

The first time Loki had met the genius as he claimed to be (not that Loki could fault Anthony on that as he was one of the few people on this realm with a properly functioning brain) had been the same day Odin had hired Anthony to be the royal weaponsmith. Anthony had a very good reputation with his work which was just another reason Loki and he weren't friends. Why would Anthony want to taint his reputation by associating himself with the likes of Loki?

But that was besides the point. Loki had gone to speak to Odin about possibly changing his training schedule so it wouldn't be with Thor and his brainless friends as at the time, Loki still thought Odin had a say in his life choices.

So, Loki had walked into the throne room where Odin usually was speaking to his advisers and whoever else he had to as King of Asgard to find Odin speaking to an Asgardian man with a mess of brown hair, a neatly trimmed beard that wasn't typical for an Asgardian at all (though Loki had eventually learned Tony wasn't the typical Asgardian anyway). Loki's heart had given a loud thud when those golden brown eyes had been turned on his, his breath catching in his throat as he froze to the spot.

After Odin introduced the Asgardian as Anthony Howardson, Loki hadn't been able to stop thinking about him.

He visited the weaponsmith, asking for the man to make him daggers, Loki's preferred weapon in battle. Anthony seemed to brighten everytime Loki appeared out of thin air in his forge.

It surprised Loki that Anthony cared not that he did magic which most would scorn Loki for, instead questioning him on how it worked and what he could do. Loki would gladly explain, sometimes speaking about it for hours with Anthony who didn't seem to mind, enthusiastically adding in input and asking more questions which in turn caused Loki's chest to flutter with little butterflies.

No, he did not have a crush on the Asgardian. What a preposterous idea! He was simply...fond of Anthony, that's all.

But to the point, Anthony was looking around still, those golden brown eyes searching over the crowd, clearly looking for someone.

The thought dampened Loki's mood, knowing that whoever it was Anthony was looking for, it surely wasn't Loki himself. No, likely it was a gorgeous maiden that Anthony would take to bed tonight.

Anthony happened to glance his way and no, Loki did not blush a light pink when Anthony sent him a small smile, nor did those blasted butterflies flutter in his stomach. But just as quickly as Anthony looked at him, he looked away again.

Loki's heart sank as his suspicions were confirmed.

No, Anthony had not been looking for him.

'Where the Hel is he?'

The one thought repeated itself over and over in Tony's mind as he looked around the dancing crowd though he very much doubted he would be dancing of all things.

Unfortunately, Tony didn't spot him anywhere.

"—you listening?"

"Huh?" Tony mumbled dumbly, snapping out of his daze as he glanced at Clint who rolled his eyes.

"You weren't listening then? Why do I bother?" Clint sighed, shaking his head, making his sandy blond hair fall in and expose his slightly pointed ears. "Asgardians. You lot never listen."

"Mhm, right," Tony mumbled, turning his head and catching a raven headed man. His breath stuttered, a red flush coloring his cheeks as he gave Loki a small smile, the prince looking shocked and Tony quickly turned away again, mentally cursing himself.

But he was here. Of course he was here! He was one of the princes and this was a royal event.

Didn't mean Loki always showed up though, so Anthony was more than a little ecstatic that Loki was here even though he didn't have the guts to go over and talk to him.

Loki was a prince after all and Tony was just a pathetic excuse of a weaponsmith who built some good stuff for the royal army.

But Norns did he want to. Not only to talk but even to ask for a dance. Tony had learned how just for Loki. All the pain and suffering of Natasha kneeing him in the groin for stepping on her toes would be worth it if he could just get up the nerve to ask the prince for a dance.

"Oh, for fucks sake. Stop pouting and just go ask him out already!" Clint complained, Tony giving him a glare.

"Keep your voice down!" He hissed out, glancing at Loki but the raven wasn't looking at him, instead speaking to that blond warrior. Fandrad? Fanrasal? No, that's not it...Fandral! That's the one.

"Look, Natasha and I agreed that what you need is either a slap to the face or a friendly push in the right direction to make you go ask the guy out," Clint explained, making Tony give a wary step back. "And I'm going to do both."

"Wait, wha—ow! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Tony yelled, pressing a hand to the slowly reddening handprint on his cheekbone. "You know, I forgot how we even became friends in the first place."

"No, you became friends with Natasha. I'm just baggage," Clint told him, before grabbing Tony's shoulders and spinning the Asgardian around, Tony nearly tripping over his own feet as Clint gave him a hard shove between the shoulder blades. "Go on. If I don't see you two gazing dreamily into each other's eyes by the end of the night, I'm going to shoot an arrow at your ass."

"Yeah, yeah. Asshole," Anthony mumbled, nerves skyrocketing as he slowly made his way over to Loki, Fandral saying something that made the raven smile. Jealousy coursed through Anthony savagely but he pushed it down.

He could do this.

Stopping near Loki, the green eyed man glancing at Tony with a raised eyebrow.

Tony took a breath as he spoke.

"Hi," he squeaked.

A smile crossed Loki's face as he nodded and...was that a blush on Loki's face? "Hello, Anthony. It's good to see you outside your Forge."

Tony nodded a little too quickly. "Uh, yeah. I mean, you too. Not that, you know, I don't like seeing you in my Forge, it's just that it's nice, um, seeing you that isn't there."

Tony's brain was scrambling into chaos as it always did when Loki was near and he cursed himself mentally once again, telling himself silently to get it together.

"I, u-um, I was just...I wanted to ask i-if you wanted...wanted to..." Tony huffed out a breath, taking a deep one before rushing out. "Iwantedtoaskifyouwouldliketodancewithme?"

Loki blinked, Fandral beside him looking amused though he didn't comment.

"What was that?" Loki asked, looking baffled.

Tony swallowed hard. "I w-wanted to ask if you would like to d-dance with me?"

Loki's mouth parted slightly, green eyes widening a fraction while Fandral gave a snort of laughter.

Tony's heart fell as he looked down, face burning with humiliation. This had been such a stupid idea. Why on Asgard would Loki want to dance with the likes of him?

"There, see?" Fandral said, clapping Loki on the back. "Now you can finally stop pining after the fellow. Have fun you two."

He gave Tony a wink as he walked away, leaving Tony alone with Loki whose face had also gone a bright red.

"Um..." Tony chewed his lip. "So...would you like to...?"

Loki let out a shaky breath. "I...I would. Yes...please."

Tony couldn't believe his ears. No way did Loki just say yes!

"Anthony?" Loki asked hesitantly as if worried Tony had changed his mind.

As if.

Tony gave a wide smile, holding out a hand which Loki took with a smile of his own as Tony led them out to the dance floor.

They danced for nearly the rest of the night, only taking breaks when they needed another drink. Tony saw Clint give him thumbs up from the side of the dance floor and in return, flipped him off. At the end of the night, Tony led Loki back to his own room as a gentleman should, giving Loki a chaste kiss at the door, butterflies in his stomach at Loki's astonished look. "Goodnight, Loki."

Tony went to turn away but Loki caught his wrist before he could, Tony glancing back at the Mischief god who swallowed. "Stay?"

Tony blinked, surprised for a moment before he grinned. "Yeah...yeah, of course."

Loki smiled, relieved as he slid his hand down into Tony's hand and pulled him into his room, the door clicking shut behind them.
