[-Hack sauce. So, more mayonnaise... -Pickle relish. You said there was a beer cheese sauce? Career we embrace is a phase, a period of our life. -From there we add... -Mexican lager, American pale ale, cheddar cheese, provolone, Havarti, American cheese, seasoned salt.]

LIFE HACK FOR BROKEN JARS AND GLASSES
Once you have safely removed the big bits, cut a potato or apple or anything else with dense, firm flesh, and press it down on the area and it will pick up a bunch of the tiny shards and flat flecks of glass you can't see. Then sweep or Swiff when the floor is dry.
I found sweeping up glass first just spreads the itty bitty bits around, but this seems to help keep them in place, as you are pressing straight down.
This post brought to you by the jar of pasta sauce I just dropped, and my friend Marc, who taught me the trick.

Half of my somewhat decent cooking skills have been attained by going "oh, well duh" and here's one of those moments from today's lunch that has proven extremely helpful when I want to make something appetizing without going all-out:
You can just doctor storebought pasta sauce to make it taste richer. Most of the stuff you add will already be in the sauce, but it still helps make it more to your liking.
Stuff I usually add, if I've got it on hand (you can do any combination of these or other spices, for real, just add whatever!)
-Butter. Man, it's a magical make-the-sauce-smoother thing.
-Sprinkle of onion powder and oregano
-Garlic. I like to melt a pad of butter down in the saucepan with a bit of minced garlic (the stuff that comes in a jar, but you can use any type), then I'll add the storebought sauce and the other dry spices.
-Here are the big two: crushed red pepper flakes and chili powder. A little kick makes any red sauce better imo, so shake a good amount of both in.
-Top with cheese and, if you can, some fresh herbs! Genovese basil is to die for.
That's it! Experiment! Taste as you go! Don't measure, just toss stuff in gradually until it tastes hella good and then use similar amounts next time. Go forth and impress your comrades with your cooking witchcraft, and don't feel bad if it takes a couple of tries to find what works.

LIFE HACKS
Idk about you guys but literally any complicated food is bad sensory for me
No spaghetti sauce no lasagna no soup with assorted vegetables no cooked vegetables in general
There’s just too many textures for me
So if you’re like me and hate stuff that’s mixed together just keep it simple
I eat like a toddler
Baby carrots, rice, a couple pieces of ham, that’s a good lunch right there
And only ONE of those things needs to actually be prepared
Get some protein in there, some fruits or veggies, some carbs, but that’s literally all the requirements
Whichever mealtime is least rushed would probably be best for this because it does take preparation for some foods
But sometimes just a bowl of cereal is all you can do and that’s ok
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to live like everyone else, especially when it comes to your health 👍🏻
Anyways bye

Fun facts about Burger King dips
Tumblr media
(Confirmed for Norway, at least.)
• You can ask the Burger King cashier to buy only the dip. This cost me 0.70€ per dip back in 2020, and is by far the easiest way to buy Heinz sweetsour dip for use with homebaked chicken tenders. • If you buy an 18-pack of nuggets, you're allowed to take 2 dip packs instead of 1, and the cashiers will confirm you are indeed allowed to do that.

Depression meal/low energy food hack!
-tai pei chicken fried rice (is microwaved frozen for only 4 minutes—has vegetables and protein)
-When done, add the Panda Express Sweet and Tangy Beijing sauce and Bachans original Japanese bbq sauce
Literally, it takes mid fried rice to something mildly spicy and super tasty and saves you spoons when you need it 💕

I just feel like Eddie is one of those dads who sees clickbait “tutorials” and “recipes” on Instagram and takes them at face value and then winds up cleaning his toilet with coca cola

I have just learned that you can in fact replace milk in a recipe with oat milk and have the flavor and consistency not change significantly.

How to submerge something without wasting a lot of what you need it in.
- Put thing in plastic bag
- Put in cup
- fill cup (not the bag) with water to above thing
- fill bag until thing is covered
(I'm sorry if liquid/object density makes this not work for you. Beware chemical reactions! Stay safe!)
