There was only 1 billionaire on the submersible. The Pakistani guy with his son are millionaires who have much less money than most American celebrities for example. But people just lying and saying they’re billionaires so they can get excited they died. Touch grass ma’am

are you telling me that your ‘gotcha!’ is the fact that the one guy from Pakistan might have been a millionaire and not a billionaire? even though he likely paid 500k (250k each) for two tickets to the bottom of the ocean? when Pakistan is currently going through an economic meltdown that is so bad that the citizens are fleeing to Europe by the dozens and risking their lives because inflation is at an all time high and there’s literally no jobs anymore?

And this millionaire/billionaire buys a half a million dollar trip down to the bottom of the ocean so he can gawk at the grave sight of poor people who lost their lives over a hundred years ago? that’s the hill you want to die on? that sounds like a fair trade of money to you? that’s your trump card argument? hello??? is there any sign of intelligent life out there???

hello trauma my old friend!

so this girl has been alone her whole life. I get it now. She had no parents, her aunt and uncle took her in, but the minute they got pregnant with their child, they wanted to send her away. Ouch! You don't do that to a kid! Hell, you can't even do that with pets these days.

then she met her bestie in high school, who actually loved her, and that was the most affection and care she had in years, probably. Of course, this girl was gonna do everything in her power to keep that love, especially trying to get her bestie's crush to like her back, even if said crush actually liked someone else (Hongju!). And despite getting close to the guy, and probably getting some feelings, she pushed it all down, forcing herself to be ignorant of it all. It all makes so much sense now.

When she fell in love and was happy the man just left one day without explanation. Asshole. Abandoned yet again by someone she loved so much, who was supposed to never hurt her. I'm pretty sure she went into an emotional shutdown.

I have a better appreciation for this girl who has been neglected and deprived of love so much she refuses to accept it now if it means getting hurt. She can never risk that again. And I do feel for our ML because it means his task of reaching her and making her see how much he cares, just got a lot more complicated. awww but I do love the fact that he loves her so much, he couldn't forget her. It's like he has for her all of the love she missed in life.
