If you're a Harry Potter fan, a tour of the Warner Brothers Studio Tour London is an absolute must. If you're thinking about going, these are the things you'll want to know about the experience.

Where is it? The Warner Brothers Studio Tour London is located in Watford, just north of London and not too far from Heathrow Airport or central London.

When can I visit? You can visit Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays may be available depending on availability and demand. Tours commence every 15 minutes, and each last 90 minutes (approx. 3 hours) 

How much does it cost? Tickets start at £32 per person, which includes VAT making it £38 per ticket.

How do I buy tickets or tour? Tickets can be purchased online or by phone (tickets are unavailable at the site itself).

What does a ticket get me? A ticket gets you access to the whole tour and all areas and activities, 3D glasses for use in the 3D tour (and if you want to keep them) as well as a commemorative souvenir programme and lanyard, a map of the studio showing how it all fits together, entrance into two of the soundstages, access to part of the outdoor filming areas as well as an audio guide to accompany you on your journey through this fantastic site.

What should I wear? You can wear brown shoes and clothes as long as you are comfortable with them. Alternatively, you can get a pair of black dress shoes at the studio for £6. Prices vary for other items such as a cloak, scarf, or hat.

Can I take my camera? Yes, however, you will need to ask before use so that those exercising the right of photographic activities on the site can be granted access. Those wearing a camera are asked to wear a lens cap and strap.

Can we go outside? Yes, the weather is always great in Watford, and you can see wandering around the studio grounds after your tour.

Is there anything else I need to know? For children aged 4-11 years old, it's suggested they wear thin layers as they will get freezing during the tour. No hot drinks are served on the site, but there is a cafe nearby if you want to stock up on something. The whole tour takes approximately 3 hours, so if you're planning on being back by 1:30 pm, it's not too bad to be back either in time for an afternoon tea (Tickets for this are not included in the step-on price).

Who runs it? The tour is run by Warner Brothers, who also own the rights to Harry Potter.

hello! so, this is a multi chapter fic i was really excited about a while ago (started it, got to a few thousand works and then it fizzled out lol the basic premise is this:

muggle AU with single dad James and model Sirius who’s fed up of his ~meaningless life (feeling some…ennui, if u will) and ends up taking off to like. a seaside city where he runs into harry and then, james. it was such a fun premise because A. i was writing it to ‘have we met before’ which is the perfect j/s song, B. i wanted it to be low pressure and chill, a simple meet cute romance type situation.

there’s also aunt cassiopeia who sirius is temporarily living with and she’s like this. ‘spinster’ who’s cut off from her family, has a pet cheetah she rescued one time, and has three blades on her at all times. a Character. i love her. she loves james. tries to match make. sirius is so baffled?? because aunty cassie doesn’t like anyone??

#37 – MEANWHILE In A Tall Building In Manhattan… Haaaaarry Praaaaaaada’s Paradoxe Queen Sits High In Her Rapunzel Tower Watching Thirteen Thirteens On Her Computer Screens

In one week of 2022, Taylor Swift’s recordings accounted for 20 of Billboard Magazine’s ‘Top 100’, and all 10 of the top 10, a feat none have matched.

“Call from Taylor on line thirteen” Sara’s assistant opened and shouted through the office door.

         “I told you to hold all my calls, I’m trying to get tickets to Taylor’s Eras tour!”

         “SARA!  IT’S TAYLOR!  TAYLOR!  TAYLOR IS ON THE PHONE!”  The assistant shouted back.  “It’s TAYLOR!!!!  She’s on the phone!”

         “Oh?  Well, tell her to just text me.”  Sara waved her assistant away as she sat hunched over her keyboard glaring at the computer screen.

         The assistant shrugged, “Fine, I’ll let her know.  Hey, have you seen this…”  She held up her phone to some kind of TikTokTweetstagram viral video with millions of views.  “It’s like some mashup of Emma Watson’s Instagram Prada takeover stuff mixed with Harry Potter… It’s called… Harry Prada!  It’s hilarious.”

         “NOT NOW!  I just moved up, I’m 13th in line…”  Sara Swift—attorney at law extraordinaire with coincidental same last name the same as Taylor—looked up at her assistant holding up a cell phone playing the viral video, then looked back at her computer screen.  “WHAT!  HOW IN THE—”

         “Well, it’s simple really—” Becca began to explain, “—see, they took her Prada video and edited that together with other video of her from when she was in Harry Potter—"

         “No, not that.  This!”  Sara pointed at her computer screen.  The numbers were glitching… thirteen and three quarters displayed momentarily before switching back to just 13.

         “What’s wrong?”  The assistant half asked, her attention had shifted to her phone and away from her boss as she began watching the Harry Prada video for the 13th time.  Haaaaarry Praaaaaaada.

         “Now I’m number 1313 in line!  How is that possible?!”  She moved in closer to the screen, as if it were possible to get any closer without falling into it.  As though one could jump through the screen the same way one walked through the wall between platform numbers 9 and 10 to get to platform 9 and ¾.  Through the metaverse looking glass.

         “Weird.”  Sara’s assistant said, not really paying much attention to the boss lady of the prestigious Manhattan law firm where Becca worked as she closed the TikTokTweetstagram App she had open and opened Bumble instead.

         “AHHHH!”  Sara screamed out… A Wilhelm Midnights mayhem scream.

         “What now?” Her assistant swiped through a bunch of awful potential matches, all New York City wannabe influencers—mostly trust fund babies.

         “NOW I’m 131313!  At THIS rate I’ll never get a ticket!”  Sara grumbled.

         “Um… You’re Taylor’s attorney, why don’t you just call her back and ask her for a ticket?”

         “It doesn’t work like that, I mean, sure, it probably could if I wanted it to, yes, but I want to support my girl!  Plus, I’m rich… It’s not like I need handouts… and anyway, there’s something strange going on here…”  She leaned in close and inspected the screen of the Ticket Master-ish looking site that probably was Ticket Master.  “Wait, did you say Harry Prada?  I love Prada.”  She held up a bottle of perfume and a stylish handbag.

         The assistant’s phone buzzed, it was a match on Bumble… some guy named Rick, a lawyer, lives in LA, works in the entertainment biz, travel mode active, currently in NYC.  To message first, or not… that IS the question.  Sara’s assistant was distracted by this Jack Antonoff looking match… He’s cute.

         “BECCA!”

         “What?”  She looked up from Rick the ‘Jack Antonoff looking entertainment business lawyer in travel mode’.

         “Are you playing on your phone at work?”

         “You’re sitting there buying Taylor Swift tickets!!!”

         “It’s MY law firm, I can do whatever I want… just like Taylor can do whatever SHE wants.”

         “That’s true.”  Becca turned the phone around, “Do you think this guy is cute?”  She turned the phone back to face her.  “Wait, why am I asking you…”

         Sara shrugged.  “If YOU think he’s cute, what does it matter?  Don’t let someone else judge for you.”  Sara smiled at her own lawyer pun.  “Anyway, what’s the Harry Prada thing?”  Sara asked again.  “I’m intrigued and I need to take a moment from all of this and 3/4ths stuff…” She pointed at the numbers as they changed again 131313 and ¾ number in line.

         Becca swiped to change from Bumble back to the TikTok-ish app that probably was TikTok.  She held the phone out so that Sara could watch the minute long Harry Prada mashup video…

         “Funny, but also possibly intellectual property theft or at the very least some form of deepfake disinformation, and I’m not big on fake narratives about celebrities—neither shallow nor deep, I’ll admit it’s very creative though… Also, I don’t fully understand the references, but is she not allowed to be in a movie or something until she finishes posting about Prada on her Instagram?”  Sara asked her assistant Becca as she wondered after watching the viral video that had obviously been created for the clicks, or maybe to stir up controversy, or who knows for what reason… then again, sometimes it’s hard to tell exactly what people are up to when they post things on the internet… probably just someone who was bored.  Though one does have to wonder about these things… why was it that her Instagram was suddenly seemingly hijacked by Prada, which it did indeed seem to be.  What kind of deal DID she sign?  Was Emma Watson at the whim of others, a contractually bound Rapunzel, stuck high in an office building in Midtown Manhattan?  Or LA, or London… Perhaps.

         “I heard a rumor about that.  I don’t know if it’s true.  It is weird that she’s being so silent with so much to be a very vocal activist about and is instead pushing her refillable perfume bottle.”  Becca looked at the bottle of non-refillable Prada perfume on Sara’s desk sitting beside the Prada handbag.  “Then again, maybe refillable perfumes are part of something much bigger than we know.  An ‘Emma Easter Egg’ hinting at something more… a paradox… a ‘Paradoxe’ paradox?”  Becca shrugged then looked at the lava lamp also on Sara’s desk.  “Why do you have that lava lamp on your desk?”

         “It was a gift from someone.”  Sara looked at it as though she were at odds with it.  Hating it and loving it at the same time.

         “Hmm.”  Becca was satisfied with the answer.  “Cool.”

         Sara nodded then looked back at the dual screen setup where she had the ticket queue opened to…

         The screen glitched.

         “Okay, that’s it!”  She switched tabs and opened a chat group, ‘Swifties who are also lawyers and Lawyers who are also Swifties.’  Sara quickly typed a note and clicked post.  “I’m assembling ‘The Dream Team’… it’s time to take on the Master of Tickets.”

         “Haaaaaaarrry Praaaaaada…” Becca said back.

         “What?”  Sara looked up at Becca, confused.

         “Sorry… I just can’t… I can’t stop saying it.  Haaaaaarry Pradaaaaaa!”  Becca mimicked the viral TikTok deepfake dance.

         “BECCA!  We have work to do!  Put away your Harry Prada video and start the paperwork… it’s time Ticket Master gets a taste of their own medicine.”

         Becca walked to the precipice of the office.  She turned back just before going through the doorway   “Don’t worry… Your friend Harry Prada is on it!”

         Sara rolled her eyes then waved her assistant off, then she went over to a secret closet and pulled out a cape.  She put it on and went back to her desk.  Super-Hero vs. Anti-Hero.

         Taylor’s name and number appeared on the VoIP desk phone display as she called again.  This time Sara picked up.  “Taylor!  I’m glad you called!  We have work to do!”

         Taylor’s voice replied confidently through the phone, “Well of course!  There’s ALWAYS work to do… this is only just the beginning… and we’re just getting started.”

         Thirteen Thirteens showed across the computer screens.

         Becca pushed back through the door blurting out a thought she’d forgot to mention.  “Oh, also, some friends and I were going to go to this Swemo night thing in Brooklyn.  It’s like… Emo music mixed with Taylor Swift music… if you wanted to go too… and feel free to invite Taylor!”

         Sara made a hand motion towards the phone and mouthed the words… ‘On the phone with Taylor!’

         Becca mouthed the words ‘ooops sorry!’ and backed out of the office.  She had started closing the door when Taylor replied to Becca.

         “Swemo night, eh?”  Taylor said curiously through the phone.  “That sounds like fun!”

         Becca smiled as she opened the door again and yelled in the direction of Taylor’s voice coming through speaker phone.  “IT IS!!!  Oh my gosh, TAYLOR!  YOU SHOULD GO WITH US!  It’s soooooo AWESOME!”  

         Sara shook her head no.  “Taylor, as your attorney I advise you to focus on the work that has to be done rather than going to Swemo parties and dancing all night until you see the morning sun.”

         Becca pouted.  “You’re no fun.”

         “My job isn’t to be fun, it’s to get things done.”  Sara said then smiled in an unsmiling serious parenting way at Becca.  “And to make sure that Taylor gets things done too.  There’s way too much work to do.”

         “Fiiiiiiiinnnneeeeee.”  Becca made a displeased face then closed the door to Sara’s office leaving Sara and Taylor to talk.  As she sat back down at her desk, she messaged the Jack Antonoff looking Travel Mode lawyer to see if he wanted to join her and her friends at Swemo night.
