it was your first time leaving base after a mission was done.

after the death of your family, you never really had a place to call home aside from an empty apartment.

this time was no different. until it was.

you hadn’t planned on staying with your captain for two weeks, but he knew you didn’t have anyone to go to.

he knew you were either going to mope at the base, or your lonely apartment.

price has taken it upon himself to invite you, little ol’ grim, to his home. he cared too much to leave you alone.

little grim. little grim that hoards stuffed animals in their quarters. little grim who seeks comfort in men at least three times their size when they can’t sleep. little grim who forced movie nights, and piggyback rides.

his home filled with love. his home filled with warmth. his home filled with family.

asking the question was hard. actually, it really wasn’t. it was your reaction that had thrown him off.

“hey, kid. where you goin’ this break?” his shoulder leaned on your doorframe, hands in his pockets.

“uhm, i’m not too sure. probably just going to stay here?” you were sat on your bed, a record playing a love song softly in the background. you had a journal laid out in front of you, your pen tapping on the open pages.

“well, i was wondering if you’d like to come home with me? my wife already gave the go ahead. just up to you now.” a small smile made itself noticeable under his facial hair. kind eyes softening.

“what? why would you do that? i don’t want to be a bother, sir.” eyebrows furrowing and a little quiver to your voice made itself known.

tears pricked your eyes. no one ever offered that before. the apartment waiting for you hadn’t been stepped in in months. dust probably covered all the surfaces in the small space. you knew you’d have to go back at some point, or else there was no point in renting it anymore.

but, this offer had set your heart alight. it wasn’t a secret you had no one to go back to. but, you never wanted pity from it.

“we want you there. plus, she really could use having a guest other than me. pretty sure she’s bored of me by now.” he shrugged, his stupid hat tipping.

“i- i mean. are you- are you sure?” the only way price could describe your reaction was pure confusion.

this kid needs love.

and he wasn’t wrong. you needed to be loved. you wanted to be loved.

“well, yeah. i’m not that mean, grim.” he chuckled a bit.

“uh, yeah. sure! yeah. just let me pack up a bit.”

once you arrived at your captain’s home, a pit filled your stomach.

what if she hated you?

what if price got sick of you?

what if they kicked you out?

“grim, you alright?” price’s voice flooded your ears, snapping you back to reality.

you were stood in front of a decent home. a porch with a swing. small plants laid upon the wooden steps. trees around the yard. a big red door.

“yeah, i’m good cap.”

leading you into the house, price shouted for his wife, “sarah? honey, i’m home! got a guest too.”

you kicked off your shoes by the door, keeping a tight grip on the bag you packed.

sarah, a beautiful woman. long brown hair framed her face perfectly, kind brown eyes, and small smile lines.

she quite literally flew around the corner from, what you assumed to be, the kitchen.

“oh, love, you’re home!” her voice was calming, anxiety dwindling from the crevices of your mind. she slammed full force into her husband.

“hi, sweetheart. i missed you so much.” price sighed in content. one hand holding her head, the other on her lower back.

you stood there, not knowing what to do. your eyes shifted around the living room you stood in. a coffee table sat between a nice, soft couch, and a dark tv stand. dimmed lights and pictures of the married couple set a nice, homely, mood.

“oh! and you must be grim. john never shuts up about you!” sarah pulled away from her husband and reached out to you, pulling you into a motherly hug.

“oof- hi! yes, i’m grim! i hope it’s all good things, haha.”

“yes, dear! of course!” she pulled back, a hand still on your arm, and beamed at you. “you guys must be hungry. sit! i made dinner, and some pie. i hope you like apple.”

that night, in bed, you cried. tears of joy, and pure love.

price had come in to check you were settling in well, knowing your sleep troubles.

“hey, kiddo- what’s wrong?” he took large strides to sit beside you on the bed. a hand coming to rest on your knee.

sniffling, you wiped your under eyes.

“thank you.” it came out as a broken whisper.

“what do you mean?” his head tilted in confusion, like a puppy.

“thank you for bringing me here. you guys are so lovely. seriously, thank you so fucking much.”

he didn’t answer. instead, he pulled you towards him in a bear hug. his hand pet you hair.

“of course. you’re family, grim. you need to be reminded of that sometimes. and, we’ll gladly do it.” he softly kissed your head before standing up, ruffling your hair, and bidding you goodnight.

“please. do not hesitate to wake us up if you need something.”

“yes, sir.”

sarah was sweet. the two weeks you were there, she treated you as her own. constantly praising you on all your achievements, impressed considering how young you were.

made sure you had everything you needed. showing you around the block, and taking walks with you everyday. she took you to the shops, and showed you her and john’s favorite places to go.

she never got upset when you woke them in the night from screaming. she never blamed you when she found your eyes rimmed with red. she never forced you to do anything that made you uncomfortable. and you appreciated that.

when you left, sarah assured you that there was always a place in their home for you. even going as far as to invite you over the next time you had time off.

price never said it, but sarah knew you were their unbiological, army child.

the two would do anything for you.

don’t tell gaz, but you’re definitely price’s favorite.

So I have a question that is bothering me.

How do you think the conversation went when at one point in their relationship JKK had to talk to the others members?

Like i imagine they must have told them like "officially" even if the others knew smth was going on btw them.

And do you think they tried to warn them? Bcz they are idols living in SK and in the biggest group?

And what about the company? Do you think they had to "officially" come out to them too?

There is literally no way for anyone to know any of this my lovely 😂😂😂

What we can say happened for certain coz it seems like it would be protocol, would be Bangpd holding a meeting with all 7 of them. Jikook being together affects the entire group after all. So their boss calling them all together after everything has been said and done is a thing I think we can all agree on, probably happened.

As for the rest it's all guess work on my end of course since like I mentioned apart from parties involved, there's no way of having an exact answer to this.

So this is just what I think happened and I wouldn't mind seeing in the comment section what others think also.

Member I'm not sure about: Suga

I dont recall Jhope talking alot about women but between Suga saying his type is a man with a beard and JK a girl with muscles and Jimin shamelessly wanting JK, it's easy to peg Yoonminkook from jump. RM, Jin and V however, if u watch their early content there is a way they talk that's super hetero. The word wife and girlfriend and kids used to be thrown around which is why I've always pegged Jin as straight. (Yes gay men can have kids too but Taejin meant with women for sure) while I think RM is bi, these 3 emitted the most heteronomative vibes to me.

My point is, I can see this being why RM could have possibly missed what was happening right under his nose. As for V, due to his original views on homosexuality I would've put him in this category if Vminkook weren't as close as they used to be. But the general consensus is that V felt some type of way when Jikook got together since he kind of lost his best friend to JK. Its because of this I can see V putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

First it was him and Jimin hanging out together. Then JK wants to join them all the time so now they're the close trio. But then suddenly Jikook are hanging out without him or keep disappearing and coming up with weird excuses. Idk if you've ever had friends that were shagging, but things start to get weird and suspicious real quick and before you know it, you've worked out they're hooking up. Especially when u start to feel like the 3rd wheel. I imagine that's what happened with V. The moment he realised Jimin likes dudes it was game over, really.

The reason why I think Jin didn't need to be told is coz the Jinkook dynamic is really strong. And we know it was this way from the beginning. What with Jin taking JK under his wing and being like a dad to him almost. He looked after him and made sure he got everything he wanted. And even though they have a Tom and Jerry dynamic going on I think JK respects the shit out of this man. I can see even now in 2023 Jimin going to Jin when JK won't listen and tells him to talk to JK or something like that. And it doesn't even have to be for a Jikook fight. I can see Jimin going to Jin about any concerns he could have about JK. Anyway, my point is, I think JK told Jin himself. That is, if Jin didn't already figure it out. Even if he told JK "I knew already" I can see JK wanting to tell Jin himself.

I cannot place Suga and I go back and forth for 2 reasons. 1) Him being queer himself may have made him automatically figure it out, couple that with him liking, liking Jimin, but noticing Jimin likes JK instead. Or 2) Suga likes to mind his own business and so he don't pay attention to members personal lives unless he needs to. Plus he was busy trying to practice hard on this complex choreo he didn't sign up for and had producing and writing to worry about.... idk guys. Idk about our mans Suga. But I lean more towards number 1 because just coz he minds his business doesn't mean he don't notice what goes on around him 🤔

As for Jhope this is a no brainer, really. We don't even need to headcannon this y'all. He was the first to know. Didn't even need to be told. JK was around them all the time in their room, in Jimin's bed. I wouldn't be surprised if he accidentally walked in on a make out session once or twice. Or that one time they thought he was sleeping and they started making out, little did they know Jhope could hear everything

For sure. I agree. At some point Jikook must have decided to actually say something to the members. Maybe 2016? I think that by Osaka Vlive all members knew. After that live no one was allowed to budge into another member's room without warning ever again so for that to have happened means all for them saw what we saw, which means they knew. So by 2016 they all knew.

V, Jin and Jhope of course told them they already knew. Maybe Suga too? And only RM was shook 😂😂 i can't picture otherwise guys. Tell me he's not confused AF here. He's like; what in the world is going on???

Yes. Especially RM as the leader. I'm sure as soon as he found out he was already thinking about the downside. Jin and Jhope supported them immediately and told them to be careful. V and Suga did not address repercussions. I don't see them caring about that.

Like I said their rlship affects the group so yeah an official meeting with Bangpd had to have been had about this. Their contracts had to be adjusted, etc.

But I believe Bangpd supports them 1000% and was quite lenient with them until 2022/2023.

Hope I've answered accordingly. Share your thoughts guys. I'm interested in hearing who u thought already knew and who u thought had to be told.

Summary: Sheila was a slave taken by a British couple at the age of 12 for her singing. She was brought to America even though they had the 13th Amendment where slavery was abolished. She saw a friend of hers, who was brought with her, getting flogged and that was her last straw, proceeding to run away. Until she sees the most notorious outlaw in the South, then she settles to free her friends from the British couple that came to America for money.

It was July.25, 1878, Lincoln County, New Mexico. Sheila woke up to nothing but harsh screams coming from one of her friends as she was beaten and whipped. She felt worried because the girl was new…Unlike Sheila who had been with the owner since she was twelve, merely because his wife liked her singing when they had come to visit British India.

Her friend, Catherine, was a sad sixteen-year-old, mourning the death of her parents. They had threatened the owners of telling law enforcement what was happening but they knew that they wouldn't do anything about it.

The other slaves ran to her screams but were faced with fear and did nothing besides revel in their powerlessness. Sheila sat there, her damp brown skin and greasy raven hair clinging to her shell of a body. She knew how this would end, knew that they would be feeble against the man–Edward J. Mason– but she was ready to clean Catherine’s wounds and reassure her that she would be alright.

“Oh, look at my slave, Sheila, so obedient! You never have to hurt her, Edward!”

The sadistic gray-haired man chuckled, kissing his wife.

“ And aren’t I glad, Penelope! We chose her when she was twelve, it has been seven years since, of course, she’d love us, this is why I love Indians! They always gift us with beauty and trust.”

They both glanced at the gaunt, starved girl before chuckling. The Mistress patted Sheila’s head and reached for a rake beside her, beckoning to the other slaves.

Penelope Mason was a woman no different from her husband. Many wives were afraid of their spouses but Penelope was a wife who had nothing but pride in her bones. The rake in Penelope’s hand was covered in blood, meant to whip the slaves that threatened their control and most times Sheila could willing block out the screeches and screams, but now she just felt angry, ready to beat the couple with no morals.

But she was stuck being useless to defend them.

Fear is a burden that was attached to her like a drug, and only withdrawal held her back from screaming her heart out.

Until she found a boy with the brightest blue eyes.

From what she’d heard, he was an outlaw.

Billy the Kid was infamous because he was the man who killed a sheriff months ago, and chased out of the state. It was a mystery how he gained the courage to return to New Mexico.

“ Who’re you?” The man questioned, his vibrant cobalt eyes gazing at her with hostility.

Sheila didn’t want to think more about the dominant color in his entire posture and frame. His clothes were darker than sin and brighter than the sun, but his eyes were the only thing she could pay attention to, causing her to ignore their proximity.

“ I am a slave, belonging to the Mason family.”

He tilted his head, shocked eyes analyzing their surroundings.

“ I didn’ ask what you were forced to be, I asked who you are.”

“ My name is Sheila, is that what you want?”

“ Huh, I’m Billy, but considerin’ the poster you were starin’ at a min’ ago, you already know that. But...how did you...No, how dare they have slaves!”

~Zeno Headcanons~

A/N: headcanons for my lovely wife, @larz-barz! I will probably add to these every now and then, I’ll reblog it when I do!

It is no secret that Zeno is tall

Like, man is a giant

A whole 6’1”(or 6’2”, I can’t remember-)

Point I’m trying to make is, he likes to carry people around

Like, even if the person is taller than him or the same height, he will swoop up behind them and carry the bridal style

He also likes putting people on his shoulders

Especially kids

OH MY GOSH HE LOVES KIDS

He has no siblings, so when he interacts with young children, he gets really happy

He wants to have at least 2-3 kids so they won’t grow up lonely like he did

Zeno lore drop? 👀

Zeno has a very weak immune system, which was the cause of most of his loneliness

Super big lore drop, Zeno has lymphoma—

Its minor though, it doesn’t hinder him much besides making him get sick a lot

But his parents didn’t want to have more kids in case they had lymphoma too

And since he was sick often, he wasn’t allowed to play with other kids much as to not get them sick either

Zeno’s favorite food is Zosui, a Japanese rice soup!

He likes it because he learned to make it from a very young age (like… 9?) and his cousin taught him how to cook it

Zeno is very good at household chores. He cooks fairly often, even more so when he becomes a demon slayer since he’s out on his own

He also enjoys cleaning, finding the process rather satisfying

He also sewed his haori himself!

Zeno took a collection of fabric of his two favorite colors, and turned them into a haori

So in conclusion, the man is good housewife material

He was jokingly flirting with Aoi when he was helping her buy groceries and some random lady from the street stomped up to him and started lecturing him to “not play with a young lady’s heart”

Yeah-

Zeno has his own house(ik, weird for a 17yo)

But he stays there the days/nights he doesn’t have missions

He lives alone(poor lonely bby 😢) but likes to have people over often

He also likes to cook large portions of food and take them to the elderly people who live in his village, that way they get a free meal and they don’t have to eat alone(if they live alone)

OK SO IM INSANE AND IM THINKING ABOUT MY F&H OCS AGAIN SO IM JUST GONNA DUMP SMTH ABOUT ASAPH REAL QUICK SO I CAN FINALLY BE NORMAL

in a previous post's tags, ive said that asaph is basically a stand in for who would bring the girl through the gauntlet to ascend her so cahara (who is probably the most likely out of all of the other player characters to have actually done it in canon) can go home to his wife and unborn child cuz he deserves it

this is still true BUT ive been thinking of a very specific kind of ending for asaph

basically he, the girl and the demon kid (do NOT ask how he got it) escape the dungeon for one reason or another (aside from the obvious reason of everything wants him dead and he has kids to take care of)

he continues to deteriorate health wise due to the fuck ass plague but is doing surprisingly well to stay alive and take care of the kids (is this because of some kind of divine intervention or is he that dadcore that he simply refuses to die who knows)

pocketcat begins to appear outside his house late at night every so often to bargain with him for the girl (or the demon kid) to which asaph will consistently refuse because fuck you these are my fucked up kids

gets to the point he'll get out of the house swinging a weapon at the fucker to get him off his property despite how frail and weak he is in this state

has atleast once decked pocketcat probably /j

how he survived? we will never know

as years pass (cuz yes asaph is that stubborn probably...and maybe some divine intervention is involved now), the girl starts getting visions of the dungeons and tries to convince asaph to let her get down there cuz smths calling her back

at first he refuses, scared of whats waiting but eventually he folds and they enter the dungeon once more

he'd eventually end up dying in the gauntlet, leaving the demon kid to help the girl to ascend instead cuz 1. i dont think that man is surviving his second run through the dungeon 2. the plague fucked him up EXPEDITIOUSLY and 3. moment where asaph laments in his dying thoughts about the demon kid and the girl and how he simply hopes they can take care of eachother, wherever they end up after this (he has no clue one of his kids is ascending to godhood while the other is dying in a show of mercy by the newly ascended god)

Life/Blog(??) Update:

hello again my darlings💕💕

i know it's been a couple weeks since you guys heard from me(i keep doing a disappearing act on you fjsks sorry about that) and i know i've worried a few people. i finally felt like i had enough mental/emotional space to address everyone again - however long or short this period of activity ends up being - so i'm here to say i've been dealing with some stuff in my personal life that's kept me from being present on this blog. my hopes are that i'm coming to the tail end of The Current Life Mess™ but if that doesn't end up happening, i wanted to at least leave some sort of 'official' explanation here.

regarding CTF, i'm still very much working on it so there are no worries on that front. obviously the next chapter/s update is gonna come later than what i'd originally planned (april-may? who was i kidding omggg) but hey, that's life🙃🤷🏻‍♀️ trust me i'm not happy about it either (very cringe behavior from me being this late ugh) but i wanted to be transparent abt the delays bc this community has been nothing but kind and generous and patient and i didn't want to leave you guys hanging dry just completely clueless about everything🥹

in the couple weeks i've been inactive my askbox has filled up again and i'll try to get to answering those very soon. thank you again to everyone for being so patient with me, i appreciate every single question/comment/rant very Very Much😭💕

on a final note, and perhaps the most important thing out of this whole post - there's a good possibility that i'll be privating Fire Made Flesh and Courting the Flame in the next few days. all this stuff around AI/ChatGPT has been making me anxious for a while. the amount of entitlement that's been increasingly pervading creative and/or fandom spaces is very concerning to me and it should be concerning to everyone else if it isn't already. i haven't encountered any problems (that i know of) with my own works or from any one of you lovelies(💕💕) but all the same, i've come to a point where i don't feel comfortable risking it. i know making my fics available to only registered ao3 users doesn't completely prevent this from happening, but i'll take any stopgap i can right now until the OTW does smth about what's happening. i might change my mind in the future and make FMF/CTF publicly available again for a short time (ultimately that is how they can get the most visibility) especially when i update CTF but, for now, that won't be the case. i'm mentioning this for transparency but also bc i know not everyone has an account and i wanted to give you guys the time to take whatever measures you need to have access to the fics, whether that's making an account or just downloading them. i also wanted to mention it bc i know not all of my readers has a tumblr/knows i'm on here so i thought you guys could help spread the word. (i'll be adding a short mention of this to the ending author's note of CTF ch 2 as well don't worry)

first shot we can see not just the people sitting at the help getting spaghettified but the floor and controls themselves?? which means it's not just everyone who works at the tva (who are all variants) getting sent back to the sacred timeline but presumably all matter that exists outside of the timelines. idk if this includes he who remains' lair/space rock/final resting place whatever but basically the sacred timeline is taking every single atom at the tva with it as we can see on the screen showing the timeline states.

this is small but i noticed that in the first ss the lights in the pie room aren't on but what i'm assuming are emergency lights are on in the hallway and around the entrance?? and im comparing this to the second ss which we've obv already seen. i would've thought that any backup would be in red but yk whatever it's just a show

i genuinely have no idea when this is supposed to take place. none of these people remember him but they're all here anyway. is this going to be like when ob kept remembering things in real time when loki slipped back in his timeline? who knows

im just super emo about this. look at them all together. ob get in there you're part of the family too. and i don't like how sylvie is right behind loki here i feel like they should at least have mobius on one side with loki on the other. also b15 rights let my girl be in focus

this is cool to me actually i like how it represents all the different universes w the letter multiples. also gives me hope that we're gonna meet another loki variant at some point. it'd be cool if we ended up seeing two specifically loki variants together?? it wouldn't make sense considering the established way that time works inside the tva (as we saw with loki's slipping with ob) but it'd be pretty cool to see loki himself react to how much he's changed as a person from an outside pov

i saw a theory on twt that either loki or sylvie is going to become god of stories either at the end of this season or the show as a whole (that is if there's a s3) and i agreed w them that as cool as it'd be it wouldn't make as much sense for sylvie to do it bc she's already been shown to want and be happy with a life on the timeline and that's never been something that loki wants and it's never been disproven after s1 that loki wants/would be happy in a position of power!!

these 2 are out of order but i put them in what i'm assuming is the proper sequence of events that is 1. loki shows up in the room, 2. loki timeslips away, 3. screen and therefore everything gets consumed. what i don't know is how loki got there in the first place. im thinking this takes place in ep 6 instead of 5 bc loki had his brown tva jacket (not pictured) before slipping and he didn't have it at the end of ep 4. the real mystery here is where tf he got his jacket back from esp when talking to timeline!mobius after the tva got spaghettified

this one of him slipping INTO the car lot is placed IMMEDIATELY after the one of him slipping away in the tva control room which makes me think either he slips from there to here (still don't know where he got the jacket from!!!) or marvel is fucking with us and these two are unconnected

i saw another post on twt that was like "omg loki talking mobius through the walk <33" like no these are clearly different scenes. loki is holding the mic in the scene where mobius is right there in the room with him, it's much more likely that it's (another?) he who remains variant (who is absent in the middle ss with the group). my theory for this scene is that after loki went around the sacred timeline finding everyone and restoring their memories they went back to a time in the tva before he who remains got spaghettied and do pretty much exactly the same thing again. which thinking about it now wouldn't really be a great narrative choice but fuck it it's marvel

Alright, alright...

So, I've had this crazy TMM theory for a long time now, but I've been afraid to share it cause I thought it was uh- too weird.

But since @ackarcue convinced me, here it is.

I don't really have a name for this theory but uh- basically

What-could-have-happened-to-Carter's-parents-why-Kalagan-might-hate-them-and-how-Carter-and-Leila-might-actually-be-related

There. JUST STICK WITH ME FOR A WHILE OKAY?

HEAR ME OUT.

Where do I start-

So we all know how Carter's parents vanished, and we unfortunately didnt get an explanation for that- Tho I do feel half of the fandom has a silent mutual agreement that it most likely has something to do with Kalagan

So think with me

In book 3, when Mick told the misfits about the fire, he said that Kalagan didn't ONLY hold a grudge agaisnt Dante, but also against Lyle. Because he, Dante, and Sandra, escaped through the tunnels and left the others behind. So he holds a grudge against the cousins, but not against Sandra since- well, he's obsessed with her.

But waaaay back in book 2, when Sandra gets introduced to Carter and they start talking about his dad, Mr. Vernon says smth about how "friends" wouldn't be the way he'd describe Sandra's and Lyle's relantioship- And she gets all flushed. Hitting that, they probably had uh- a sweet little relantioship.

And giving that Kalagan had a crush on Sandra, no doubt that would set him off.

NOW THIS IS THE PART WHERE MY DELULU GETS WEIRDER

JUST STAY WITH ME A LITTLE LONGER GUYS YOU CAN TAKE IT

We know that Carter's parents vanished when he was a little kid. We're not sure how old, but the book says it was when he had "few years of age", and he seems to have some clear memories of his parents, so lets ASSUME it was around age 3-6 (I'm guessing that it was probably 5 since in the beggining of book 1 is mentioned that Uncle Sly used Carter to steal from that couple on his 6th birthday so-)

We don't know who Leila's father is. The only thing we know, is that Sandra left her at the orphanage due to not being able to take of her. Now, who convinced her to do that? Our favorite pshycopath, Kalagan.

Ok this is really weird but

What if

WHAT IF

Lyle really is Leila's father?..

JUST HEAR ME OUT.

Now, I'm well aware that Sandra says she has a husband and that he is a miner in book 2. BUT SHE NEVER SAID **HE** WAS LEILA'S FATHER...

WHAT IF... Sandra and Lyle had an affair after all these years? AND *THATS* WHAT DROVE KALAGAN TO MAKE LYLE VANISH?

Hear me out. If you pay attetion to Leila's hair in the colored drawings, you can see *blonde locks*. Sandra's hair is darker, while Leila's is lighter. A light brown going to blond to the hair ends...

We know that the reason why Lyle left Mineral Wells was to protect his wife and son from Kalagan. But it never said he was a loyal husband... So maybe, after he had an affair with Sandra resulting in Leila, he did it with his wife resulting in Carter. AND ONLY LATER ON, KALAGAN FOUND OUT.

Lets assume that the Locke family was way too well hidden, so it took Kalagan some time to find them.

And when he did, it was poof with Carter's parents

In the end of book 1, Mr. Vernon says he has always been looking for Carter. Kalagan KNEW that Dante would come after him after the news of the Locke couple going missing spread; So he took Carter away, and kept him hidden.

Hidden from Dante, his family, Mineral Wells... And I believe it might have been not only to hurt Dante more, but also to sort of "mock" him. I feel like Kalagan wanted to make Carter suffer as much as possible during those years with him, so he could show him "the crulety of the world" and corrupt him. And also how he'd constantly force Carter to help him steal from others... H wanted to make Carter his assistant, a thief, a criminal, just as bad as he is. So then when he dragged him back to Mineral Wells, he could show him to Dante and be like "yo Dante, look what I did to your cousin's kid I made him emo lol"

Eo, Katherine accidentally made Sheoby have a mental breakdown cause, panicked and slightly aggressive questioning as to what the ehll happened with xornoth, right?

So hear me out: Shelby has someone who has books on elves or smth, and since she can't leave the children alone, she packs them up and takes them to mom #2

Said mom #2 is panicking because "wtf shelby-" "You ow me for monday" "I-....okay"

But she agrees cause she does feel bad about making her wife Shelby cry

Thing is, in an effort to ease Shelbys worries by taking the kids, she forgot she had a meeting, "I feel like I'm forgetting g something..." (X)"if you forgot it its probably not important!" "Yeah your right" *que the other Emperor's arriving mid afternoon*

So now Katherine's panicking cause she forgot and doesn't have anything ready, Xirnoth is 10 minutes away from a panic attack, Eris is 5 minutes away from punching someone and the other Emperor's are very, VERY confused

And Shubbles flying through the air to the books location like "I sense a disturbance in the force....eh it's probably fine!"

2 hours later when she comes back:

This is a very funny scenario lmao.

I feel like I should clarify tho that Katherine isn't the one who made Shelby cry and it wasn't about Xornoth. It was mostly just a culmination of Shelby trying and failing to repress the trauma that resurfaced as a result of nearly losing her family (again).

Katherine just asked if everything was okay and she kind of broke down from there. Kathy offered emotional support :]

Honestly Eris and Xornoth are old enough to not require a babysitter but the image of Katherine trying to come up with things for them to do is hilarious.

ANJELA M. AFTON (SHE/HER) ; Mrs. Afton! The loving and cheerful wife to Mr. Afton. Her cheerful demeanor seems to brighten up a room at times, which comes in handy in her job as a nurse!

LORAINE EMILY (SHE/HER) ; Mrs. Emily! Shes a bit on the shy side, but is Anjelas best friend! Shes currently unemployed, but that doesnt mean she isnt a hardworker!

MICHAEL D. AFTON (HE/HIM) ; A 12 year old who tends to get into trouble sometimes. He gets annoyed by his younger siblings sometimes, especially his little brother, but who doesnt?

EVAN S. AFTON (HE/HIM) ; Mr. & Mrs. Aftons middle son! He has a bright future ahead of him and tries his best to be nice to others! He thinks his older brother is super cool though, despite him being only a year older than him, which can sometimes get in the way of his attempts at being a good kid.

CRYING CHILD (HE/THEY) ; The youngest son in the Afton Family, being 10. He's rather sensitive and quiet, but that doesn't seem to bother his energetic best friend, Charlie! He doesn't have many friends, but he doesn't mind. He also gets called a lot of funny nicknames, which makes it hard for people to remember what his real name is. I'm sure someone will figure it out someday.

CHARLOTTE J. EMILY (SHE/HER) ; Crying Childs BFF!!! Shes super energetic and fun to be around! Her favorite animatronic is Fredbear, or at least it is for now! She also thinks her twin brother is an alien, but thats a story for another day.

SAMUEL EMILY (HE/HIM) ; Charlie Emilys twin brother! He likes typical (HUMAN) boy things, like any other 11 year old!

ELIZABETH M. AFTON (SHE/HER) ; The oldest daughter in the Afton Family! She LOVES all things pink, ponies, and flowers. Also makeup! and clowns, surprisingly. She normally hangs out with her BFF Susie or with her dad, though it's mostly her sitting in his office while he works.

ABIGAIL S. AFTON (SHE/HER) ; The baby of the Afton Family! Shes a baby. erm not much info abt her yet!

SUSIE FITZGERALD (SHE/HER) ; Elizabeths best friend!!! HORSE GIRL 100000%. Shes very protective of her toys, especially her Freddys ones! She only lets Elizabeth touch them, and even then she watches her at all times.

SPRING BONNIE (ANY PRONOUNS) ; An animatronic rabbit! What more could you ask for? He's basically Fredbears other half! This type of animatronic doubles as a suit that can be worn by employees, though he's mostly worn by Mr. Afton!

FREDBEAR (HE/HIM) ; An animatronic bear! The main star of the show! This type of animatronic doubles as a suit that can be worn by employees, though he's mostly worn by Mr. Emily!

‘2:12 AM.’ Vincent sighs deeply, staring at the house key in his hand placed inside the lock of the front door.

Vincent glances upward at his home, seeing no lights on upstairs and coming to a quick conclusion everyone obviously must be asleep at this hour—it was only Vincent who was sent out before he could even have a bite of dinner only to deal with another grisly crime scene for the next three hours after all.

Twisting his key in, Vincent unlocks the front door and takes a step in only to be stunned by the kitchen lights still on across from him with you standing in front of the stove stirring a freshly cooked meal.

“Baby?” Vincent calls out, still somewhat confused as he closes the door behind him. “I’m home.”

“Welcome back.” You peek your head back towards the front door, greeting Vincent with a warm smile.

“Hi, sweetheart.” Vincent’s muscles relax as he slips his shoes off, almost cautiously walking into the kitchen as he isn’t used to the hospitality or even seeing a sliver of a smile on anyone’s face when Vincent comes home at late hours like this.

“What are you doing?” Is all Vincent can ask as he walks into the kitchen only to see you stirring a pot of chili.

“Well, you said work may take ‘a few hours’, right?” You shrug your shoulders, smiling at your husband. “Then I decided we’ll have dinner in a few hours.”

“It’s 2AM.” Vincent chuckles, embracing you from behind.

“So?” You let out a soft laugh, placing your hands overtop of Vincent’s warm ones and tilting your head back onto his shoulder. “You deserve a fresh, hot dinner too.”

“Trying to figure out my schedule?” Vincent plants a kiss over your cheek. "I appreciate it, baby."

“Mm, maybe.” You turn around to face your husband, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. “I’m trying to work around it for us, just like you said. We both make time for one another, but we can’t take away what we already have. Work, the kids, everything.”

“That’s right.” Vincent steals a kiss off your lips, somewhat mesmerized by your answer. “But that’ll only mean more late nights for you now instead of just me.”

“Who cares?” You reach one arm back to turn off the stove before facing Vincent again. “That doesn’t bother me. Does it bother you?”

“Not at all, no.” Vincent shakes his head, glancing towards the stove before pulling you closer into his embrace. “I honestly am not used to any of this at all. The late night dinners, you waiting for me to get home before going to bed. I need to thank you for all of—”

“No, you don’t.” You interrupt, rubbing Vincent’s shoulders tenderly. “You really don’t, baby. I have a lot to thank you for. You’re living double lives here and at work, and yet you’re sharing the other with me. I know it’d be a lot easier just to come home alone.”

“Nothing would be easy without you.” Vincent corrects you. “You give me a reason to come home. Work was my home. I didn’t have to go anywhere else. What I’m pissed at myself is the fact that some sort of basic understanding and communication here took what? Only four damn tries—four damn marriages.”

“The only difference is that I’m not claiming to share you.” You lean in, pressing a loving kiss over Vincent’s cheek. “I’m not saying I get a part of you, I’m not separating you from what was once all you knew and wanted to know. I’m not going anywhere and neither is our little one.”

“Mhmm.” Vincent can’t help but smile looking down at your little growing baby bump. “I doubt everything else, but this… No. Makes me wonder what I ever did to deserve a woman like you.”

“I ask myself that about you all the time.” You blush, watching Vincent gently place his hands over your baby bump. “But this… All of this—what we have, how we communicate, how we are with each other despite everything else is why we deserve each other; at least that’s what I think.”

“Poetic as always, aren’t you?” Vincent chuckles, pulling you into his arms. “I love you, baby.”

hello! so ill start with that very daemon idea that has him as the canter. so idk? get ready? love letter under the ***

deamon x reader who's his wife (prob newlywed). there is some kind of a fight (tourney? war?) and she has to be by his side. during the action deamon gets distracted and stops keeping an eye on the reader bc he's too busy and also knows she's excellent with her sword. however, she gets injured, badly but not deadly.

and when every relative blames him for not protecting her, when each lady whispers to her friend or her husband that it was him who practically killed the princess, that's when he realise she's not a swordswoman anymore. they were childhood friends and they used to run the forest together, play smth stupid and do the shit children do. they used to have lots of sword-fighting, she was just as good as he if not better, but they're not children anymore.
