It's so funny to me that Einstein clowned on himself for coming up with a stupid theory that he thought was wrong. And now today scientists are going back to it because he was actually really, really correct. Au where when danny left the portal his friends noticed his white hasmat suit was missing from his human form but both his cloths and suit remained on his ghost form, puzzling them. They never found out what happened to it, but decided it didn't matter.

A large jewel was on display at one of the highest security museums in Gotham, one said to be cursed and causes terrible misfortune to anyone who dares touch it. But Selina Kyle was no coward and had nine lives to back her up, meow~

The notorious cat-burglar managed to fight off Batman long enough to grab the jewel, but the moment she opened her mouth to taunt him a large green portal opened up above them and something fell out of it before it snapped shut as suddenly as it appeared.

They both stared in shock at the form of a fourteen year old boy lying unconscious on the floor between them. Catwoman made a run for it while Batman called an ambulance. The boy wasn't breathing. After doing CPR the boy began to breath again but did not wake up. He took a blood sample in hopes of tracking down any family members this kid may have had and watching over him as he was loaded into the vehicle.

What he never could have guessed was that the child was his. Well, his and Selinas. The only real problem was that Selina had no memory of being pregnant and wasn't missing any time. She also showed no signs of mental tampering but the blood sample held no indication of cloning or genetic engineering. Hmm.

Stranger still the kid would flatline multiple times throughout the day and night without any clear cause and his heart would randomly start beating again several minutes later. The amount of times his death had been "called" was unheard of. No one knew what to make of it.

Still, when he told the family they were confused and intrigued. They all wanted to go meet thier brother even if he wasn't awake. Damian seemed a bit off, but was reassured by the knowledge this kid was about a year younger than him.

Watching the Apollo 11 (2019) documentary film for the first time since I saw its IMAX premiere at the Smithsonian (4 years ago???) and jeez. I’ve spent a significant part of my life studying this era, this particular achievement, and it’s still surreal and awe-inspiring. I still get butterflies in my stomach and hold my breath listening to the launch countdown. It’s still incredible we sent those three men to the moon and brought them back—then did it again, and again, and again.

so i read a very old review of "to the moon" sometime ago and the author called eva a romantic at heart and neil the 'too cool, doesn't care about romance' guy, and like... what??

eva who suggested john and river's marriage was a mistake, who said "he can always find another 'river' but he will only have one brother", who declines neil's romantic advances, who is very clearly disinterested at taima's attempts to matchmake her, who in response to neil's attempts to bet on colin's problem says "it's not always about some girl, neil", who focuses on her career and family and hobbies and doesn't mind not having a romantic partner?

neil who on the other hand teared up during the memory of john and river's wedding (and tried to hide it, poorly), who disagreed with the idea of removing river because "we don't know what jhonny wants but we know what he doesn't want", who at eva's confusion with sofia's attitude towards them remarked that "well, if she is the patient's wife then she has a dying spouse", who insisted colin was romantically interested in faye, whose ideal reality has him and eva getting married????

just had this wild AU fic idea where at the start of AM they had a tiff and broke up and alex went to stuudy astrophysics/aerospace eng but he still secretly writes lyrics and then a decade later he gets this wild idea to try to produce music again and so blah blah blah some record label finds him blah blah they appoint mr rockstar miles kane to assist him with production etc etc
