Cracking open this post that's been sitting in my drafts since mid October (like so many of them 🙈) since it's kinda relevant to the question regarding Jay's feelings about kids and stuff SO

I'm pretty sure I haven't mentioned this publicly before, but part of Jay's backstory is his connections to an orphanage in the outskirts of the city, more specifically the orphanage he grew up in.

He has always been a bit of a problem solver, and the other kids very naturally gravitated towards him and looked to him for help and leadership, something that continued long after he left the orphanage. You see, there's always new kids coming in, overlapping with each other's stay as the older ones leave, and so even when most of the kids he grew up with had left the orphanage, the kids still kept coming to him as an adult.

He's kind of a grown up Mol in that way, a kid trying to wrangle all the other kids, thought he never tried to run an orphan crime syndicate. If anything he tried to keep the kids out of trouble, even if HE was constantly getting into trouble himself (you know how it is, if he gets into trouble no-one else has to). Just a bit of a "protective older brother" kind of vibe, which turned into "cool uncle" as he grew older. He constantly feels bad for not being able to do more for them though, as he's always so tangled up in his own stuff, but he does what he can.

If he ever had a personal quest of his own I imagine it would be about one of "his" kids getting into trouble, possibly because they tried to step up in Jay's 2-3 month long absence. Which is very upsetting to him, both in the way that a kid he cares about is possibly in danger, but he's also hates how some of the kids want to be like him, and is doing his best to steer them away from organized crime as much as he can.

He fought so hard for so long to claw himself free of it in his own youth, away from a life of doing questionable things on the behest of others simply bc you feel like you have no other choice, and he dreads a future like that for "his own" kids. I imagine he uses his myriad of contacts to get the kids legitimate jobs once they get old enough, but it's never that simple and many of them fall through either way.

He has lost contact with many of them over the years as they grew up and got their own lives, but he'll bump into them as adults from time to time, and they're usually fond meetings. For some he's merely a footnote in their childhood. For others his meddling altered their trajectory so fundamentally it changed their lives forever, whether they know it themselves or not.

And for as long as they keep coming to him, for as long as he looks after them they're his kids, his little family of sorts, and he would move through the nine hells to keep them safe.

"but I don't wanna!"

taking a deep breath, you thank the heavens for having a husband like gojo. it really prepares you for having a child of your own. you would like to bet that gojo is more difficult than any child out there but you still have to deal with him right now.

you cross your arms and huff, "satoru, we need to go grocery shopping."

satoru grumbles and cuddles the pillow closer. his eyes drifts to you, his pretty wife, and then to your stomach. his lips curve into a small smile and he sighs happily. you're pregnant and soon, you will finally be able to see your little girl.

he will finally be able to hold her in his arms. the thought itself makes him giddy.

"you're really going to leave your very pregnant wife go shopping all by herself?" you pout but he doesn't concede.

he sits up, stretching, "are you implying that my wife is weak?"

"of course not, I am a strong and capable woman on my own!"

he makes his way to you and pulls you close. you look up at him and tilt your head with a cheeky smile, "so you going?"

he hums and presses a kiss to your shoulder, "I can't leave my girls alone, after all," his hand rests on your stomach, "though, I am sure my pretty girl here will protect her mama well."

and it's like she hears and understands him as she lightly kicks. satoru beams then looks you in the eye, "I think I am going to be her favorite," he teases, expecting you to bicker with him, tell him that the favorite will obviously be you.

he wasn't prepared to be met with a gentle smile and eyes so full love it almost scares him.

he gravitates towards your touch anyway cause who is gojo if not a lover of adventure?

the caress of your hand has him melting to putty. you then speak up with a content sigh, "well, you are my favorite so it would be nice if she shares the same sentiment as her mama, no?"

he nods with smile, closing his eyes for a moment then abruptly straightening himself, "okay!" he claps his hands eagerly, "time for shopping!"

so now you two are grocery shopping, more like you though. you look through different brands of each thing and you try to take satrou's opinion. but he is as useful as the shopping cart he is pushing.

"satoru, should I pick this or this?"

"I don't see the difference?"

still, he does provide good company and there are some things that he gets that make you want to hug the hell out of him. for example, you were troubled between two types of spreads and satoru came to the rescue.

he read the ingredients then chose one right away. a part of you thought that he didn't actually give it some thought but then he speaks up, "you're allergic to the other one and it has some ingredients that you hate, sweets," he looks at you, confused, "that should've been an easy choice."

your eyes tear up and you pull him into a tight hug, "SATORU, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!"

and the way he lights up at your affection is so very cute. he returns the hug tenfold—mindful of the little girl in you.

another thing that satoru is pretty good at while shopping with you is attracting attention. attention that he eats up like no other.

he poses and entertains the kids. he is chatting with the aunties and you’re left squeezing the hell of one poor bell pepper. you did bring up putting a leash on him, but, of course, he was encouraging of the idea to the point you had to smack him with a pillow.

“papa needs to be humbled, huh, baby?” you hum to your baby with a smile.

though, something that satoru never lets you forget is that even if he enjoys the attention from others, he truly only craves yours and only yours. one way he does is through his eyes. even when everyone’s focus is on him, his eyes are on you, so full of yearning and adoration.

and both of you know, that at the end of the day, he comes back to you. just like now.

“y/nnn! look what I got!”

you look at him and your jaw drops. satoru is all smiley and joyful…and he has about 10 bags worth of baby clothes, “satoru—I—what—why?!”

he takes his sweet time answering you, “yes: you, baby clothes for our princess, and because she deserves to be spoiled!”

“you just got 20 last week?!”

“I never said I was a ‘careful’ spender,”  he starts rummaging through one of the bags and gets out a box of jewelry, a filled to the brim box of jewelry, “I got you these as well! I remember you brought 2 new dresses and there were others that you couldn’t find matching jewelry for so—are you crying?”

forgetting about the bags, he pulls you into am embrace and coos, “aww, my pretty girl is all sentimental," his thumbs wipe the tears so naturally and he presses sweet kisses to your cheeks, "hormones got you all messed up, baby?"

“I don’t care about the jewelry.”

“ouch.”

you sniffle, “it’s just the fact that you remember these things that gets me all soft.”

“of course, I do!” he starts squeezing your cheeks together, “you’re my baby, my mochi, my honey bunny, my pumpkin—“

whining, you push his hands away, “satoru, people are watching!”

“so?”

you grumble, giving up on literally everything, “let’s just go home,” you yawn a little, “I am feeling a little tired anyways.”

satoru starts carrying the bags right away and he does it with so much ease, you would think he is just folding a piece of paper. on top of that, he doesn’t leave your side and makes sure that he’s there for you to rest or steady yourself.

you don’t get very far though.

“satoru.”

“yes, pretty?”

“my water broke.”

Some Orm Marius Headcanons Just Because

Pairing: Orm Marius x reader

A/N: Orm headcanons because apparently why not. Orm is my new crush I guess? I don't know either. Wow this got really long. Not sorry. I haven't had inspiration in forever and it feels nice.

I imagine that if you're ever fancy enough to have a shower and tub separate from each other (which is my idea of fancy, I love giant bathtubs I'm a weirdo) he would chill in a full tub of water while you shower. The first time he does it he scares the crap out of you. Now it's kinda nice.

Also, taking baths together. He might scrunch up his nose and tell you he'll think about it when you first ask. Eventually he'll agree but fights you on the temperature of the water the whole time. You're better off just setting up camp next to the tub if you really want to hang out with him while he marinates.

Call it his Marinating Time and you get The Frown™️. Arthur 100% looses his shit and wonders why he didn't think of it first the first time he hears it and it catches on like wildfire.

Have a campfire with Orm and he'll awkwardly stand 10 feet away while you try to lure him closer. Eventually he comes around to it but he likes it more because of how much you like it. S'mores are secretly his favorite though.

And once he cooks over the fire that's it. That's the only way you'll get him to cook. Why? Because of the taste🤌 that's why.

You two can look at the lobster tank at the grocery store together. Dare him to steal the lobsters and he'll give you The Frown™️ because that would be childish.

You always bring a water bottle with you when you go out anywhere on land together. Like one of those giant, metal, double walled monstrosities that are heavy as fuck and hold half a gallon. He thinks you're insane for lugging it around everywhere until he realizes one day that he drinks out of it more than you and that you're carrying it around for him. He's such an idiot I love him

Likes the feeling of you idly running your fingers through his hair. It kind of reminds him of being underwater, feeling the current.

You get along with Arthur in a way that almost worries Orm. In the sense that you will 100% charge at Arthur in a mock fight and try to wrestle him to the ground as a greeting after like, the second time you meet him. Arthur is absolutely siked to have you around, you lighten Orm up but don't take shit from Arthur.

Which makes Tom instantly happy you're around. You two often commiserate over having fallen in love with Atlanteans and what not. Lots of comfortable silences between you to.

And Junior. Orm has all kinds of feelings he does not want to think about when he first sees you holding Arthur and Mera's kid. Even if his Mother is giving him a knowing look as you spin the laughing kid around until you land safely on the couch.

You get along so well with Atlanna even if she's a little intimidating at first. She sees how much you care for her younger son, how you don't let him linger on the outside looking in because "this is your family too, Orm" and she he hugs you a little too tight after hearing that, after seeing small stolen moments between you and Orm. Her sons are happy.

If you want Orm to teach you how to fight he will say absolutely not and when you ask Arthur, who obviously says hell yeah, only then does Orm take over. But then you tell Atlanna one day that you think he's going easy on you so she lovingly starts training you to kick ass. She does not go easy on you. It's kind of awesome.

If you ever go to a museum and see a tylosaur fossil and Orm casually points out he use to ride one, you literally drag him to the nearest beach and demand he proves it because LOOK AT THAT? ⬇️ THAT'S COOL AS FUCK!

So I went ice skating today and since I have Orm on my brain I was thinking about ice skating with Orm and he would be so very, very horrible when he first steps out on the ice. Thinks you are purposely trying to embarrass him. He's a baby deer on ice. The Frown™️ is impressive if you laugh at him falling because honestly the ice rink is in more trouble than Orm when he falls anyway.

I think (sometimes) he learns things through shear stubbornness. He doesn't want anyone's help. He can figure this out on his own thank you very much, no matter how many times he falls (literally or metaphorically) just to prove he can. But when it clicks and he gets it, man is graceful as hell. Does laps around you and gets brave enough to pick you up and zoom around with you yelling at him the whole time.

Also, he likes when you praise him praise kink? praise kink.

He gets snarky when he's upset and I imagine he can be pretty mean without thinking about it. Probably has a hard time apologizing when the relationship is still new.

So, so worried about seeming too vulnerable around you. Tell him directly that it is okay to be vulnerable, you love him, you trust him and you want him to trust you.

“You’re kidding right?”

Jungkook pouts, looking down at his hands with a furrow in his brow. “No…”

Y/N laughs, rocking forward to smack his knee familiarly. “You seriously got detention because your hair was too long? That’s ridiculous!”

“I know,” he whines, running a hand through said hair and sighing deeply as he lays back with his legs crossed, splaying his arms over the bed.

Y/N giggles as she stands, sympathetically patting his shoulder. “Is there really no way out of it?”

“Not unless I can book an appointment before school tomorrow.” Y/N cringes. “Yeah,” he sighs.

It’s so dumb. He didn’t get in trouble the entire week! Not one teacher mentioned it, and then during his last period on a Thursday evening, bam! Detention slip. And, obviously, it was from his least favorite teacher, Ms Kang, who he was pretty sure hated his guts for no other reason than she couldn’t fuck him. He’s honestly surprised that she hasn’t been reported for sexual harassment yet, but he swears if she touches his shoulder in class one more time…

Jungkook’s brought back to the present at the sound of drawers opening and closing, his attention piqued. The thing that spurs him into motion is the realization that Y/N is rummaging through his drawers and she might accidentally happen upon his underwear.

“What’re you looking for?” he asks, pushing up off the bed to sit with his feet hanging off the side.

“A comb.” She closes his sock drawer with a sigh. “Do you have one?”

His eyes flit to the hand she has wrapped around the dreaded underwear drawer handle. “In my bathroom. Why?”

She mutters to herself, “‘Course it’s in the bathroom, why didn’t I think of that?” Then, louder, “Wanna comb your hair first.”

“‘First’?” Jungkook repeats quizzically.

“Mm,” she hums, turning to him with a smile. “Gonna cut it for you.”

His eyes widen. “Seriously?”

“Sure!” She pulls him into the bathroom by his wrist, crouching to dig through his sink cupboard and turning back to him with a smile on her face and a comb in her hand.

“Uh…” Jungkook isn’t sure what to think. Does he like it when she plays with his hair? Yes. Does he trust her with his life? More than yes.

But his hair?

“I think I’d rather just go to detention…”

She punches his arm with a shake of her head. “My dad’s a barber, dickhead. I’m gonna get the water ready so long—can you change into swim shorts?”

“I…” Jungkook wants to say no and drag her back to bed so they could watch their silly little dramas and forget about how their plans to go to the movies tomorrow would be canceled because of some stupid detention slip, but Y/N’s eyes are sparkling and her voice is light, so he groans instead.

She smiles knowingly, turning her back to him as she starts fiddling with the handles in the bath, the water running as he goes to change, closing the bathroom door behind him.

He pulls his pants down and briefly considers changing out of his boxers before ultimately deciding to keep it on under the plain black swimming trunk he pulls out of his bottommost drawer.

He’s a little nervous for whatever Y/N has planned, but more than that, he’s excited. Whatever this is, he can feel deep in his stomach it’s going to be domestic and likely set his wolf off in the most pleasant way.

As he enters the bathroom, his eyes fall on Y/N. She’s standing inside the bath with her pants rolled up just under her knees, her shirt sleeves rolled up above her elbow, a comb and a bottle of shampoo in her hands.

“Well?” She beckons him closer. “What’re you waiting for?” Jungkook lets out a baffled laugh. She leads him inside the bathtub before gently pressing down on his shoulders so he’s facing the wall with his back to her, his legs crossed in front of him.

He feels Y/N slot her feet next to him, feels how her legs cocoon his arms. The water is pleasantly warm around his lap as she begins brushing through his unruly strands of hair.

She giggles softly. “I can’t believe you didn’t cut your hair,” she says, running her fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck.

“I didn’t think it was long enough to get me in trouble,” he grumbles with his eyes closed. “We grow our hair out all the time, so no one thought it would be an issue.”

Truthfully, Jungkook didn’t want to cut it because he knew Y/N liked it long, and wanted an excuse to keep it that way.

She tsks playfully, dragging the comb from the very top of his head (literally an inch short of his forehead) all the way down to the shorter strands of hair at his nape. “Guess it gives me an excuse to play with your hair, huh?”

“Guess so,” he mumbles, his chest warm and bubbly. “I didn’t know your dad was a barber,” he says.

“I guess it’s never really come up in conversation,” she replies, setting the comb aside and reaching for the detachable shower-head. She tests the temperature on her palm, water dripping onto the side of Jungkook’s arm before she interrupts with a little gasp, “Shit! I forgot about your shirt.”

“It’s fine.” Jungkook waves her off. “I’ll change into a different one when you’re done.”

“You’re sure?”

“Yeah.”

Jungkook imagines Y/N skeptically biting her lip. “Alright. Lemme know if the water’s too hot, yeah?”

Jungkook grunts as a reply, a soft noise leaving his lips without him meaning to at the feel of the water on his scalp.

She runs her fingers over his head, cupping her hands over his eyes to stop the water from going into his face.

“Did…did your dad teach you how to do all this stuff?” Jungkook asks, his brows furrowing as his wolf croons at the way Y/N lathers shampoo into his hair.

“Yeah, kinda,” she replies focused-sounding. “He took me to work sometimes, so I watched him a lot. Picked up on most of it that way, if I wasn’t asking questions.”

“That sounds really nice,” he mumbles distractedly, smiling softly at the image of baby-Y/N being taught how to wash one of those Barbie head’s hair properly.

“It was.” She makes sure to get the shampoo in the hair behind his ears as well. Jungkook can’t help but sigh contentedly, unable to find it in himself to care when Y/N giggles teasingly.

“You good?” she asks, a smile in her voice.

“Feels really nice,” Jungkook replies softly, his heart probably beating slow enough to make a cardiologist worry for his health.

After Y/N lathers the shampoo on, she rinses his hair out, applies conditioner, rinses that out, and then gently taps his shoulder. “C’mon Wolfy, let’s go downstairs.”

“Wolfy?”

“What?”

Jungkook smiles wide at her offended pout, throwing the towel she hands him over his shoulders. “Nothing, nothing.”

“Whatever,” she humphs. “Go down to the kitchen when you’re done changing so we can cut your hair.”

“Okay, you ready?” Y/N asks, excitedly snipping the scissors next to his ear.

Even though Jungkook feels his stomach drop, he puts on a brave face. “Let’s go!”

Y/N grins, running the comb through his hair one last time before pulling the longer strands of hair at the nape of his neck between her forefinger and middle finger, waiting a second before quickly snipping off the hair.

“Your hair’s gotten so long…”

“Should you be talking right now? Shouldn’t you focus on not cutting off too much?”

“Yah!” Y/N laughs in disbelief as she smacks his shoulder with the fist she has closed around the comb, tsking disappointedly as she continues snipping at his hair. She moves strategically around the back of his head, eventually maneuvering around to the front to cut his bangs.

“Seriously though, your hair’s grown a lot. I didn’t think you’d ever let it get this long.” She brushes through his hair again.

“Why?” he asks with closed eyes, both to keep the conversation going and also out of genuine curiosity.

She shrugs. “I dunno. You just never seemed like a long-hair kinda guy? It looks good on you, though. The long hair, I mean.”

“What else would you mea—stop hitting me!” Jungkook pouts as he brings a hand up to rub at his bicep, scowling under his bangs.

“Just…shut up. Stop nitpicking everything I say.”

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. Don’t be mad, eh?” He reaches out to tug at her shirt, smiling satisfied when she huffs defeatedly and pats his hand before she starts cutting bangs.

“All hairstyles look good on you, though. It’s kind of unfair, actually.”

Jungkook scoffs, letting his eyes drift closed as Y/N grabs the blow-dryer (which he assumes she brought down from one of the bathrooms) and plugs it into a socket on the wall. She starts it up, then immediately stops.

He turns his head to the side to look at her. “What?”

“I’ve never thought to ask, but does the sound not hurt your ears?”

Jungkook frowns for a second, then lights up in understanding the next. “Oh! No, not really. It’s loud, sure, but you’d have to have really sensitive ears for it to hurt.”

“Ah, okay.” Y/N nods as she puts one hand on his shoulder, standing behind him. “Just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t hurt you.”

As the blow dryer turns on and drowns out any attempt at conversation, Jungkook can’t help but smile to himself.

She doesn’t want to hurt him. That’s a relief. Hopefully, she won’t have to. Soon, right? At the very least, Jungkook knows any hurt isn’t intentional…

You set the dryer to the side as you pull the plug out of the socket, walking around to look at the finished product of your hard work, only to find him asleep.

You smile softly at the way Jungkook’s chin rests against his chest, lips slightly parted in sleep. His hair is not only shorter now (even though you kept some of the length, because you couldn’t find it in yourself to cut it all off), but it’s clean and fluffy and it makes you want to run your fingers through it.

Which you do—you reach out and card your fingers through his bangs and over his scalp, just kind of fondly staring at him while he sleeps, before realizing that that might be a bit weird.

“Jungkook?” Your voice is softer than you meant it to be, but you don’t mind. He’s so innocent when he’s asleep, it’s kind of awe-inducing. “Kookie?”

“Mngf?” Jungkook’s eyes open blearily, confusedly sitting straighter in his chair as he takes in his surroundings.

“I’m done, Koo. Go lay down on the couch if you’re feeling tired, you’ll hurt your neck.”

He grumbles something under his voice as he gets up from the chair, towering over you (damn his long legs).

Your eyes widen in surprise when Jungkook sleepily stumbles toward you, nuzzling into your neck as his arms wrap weakly around your middle. “Thanks, Bunny.”

You’re beyond happy that Jungkook can’t read minds, because in that moment you find yourself—for the split of a second—thinking about Jungkook in a not-so-best-friend way. “Sure, Kook.”

He drags himself to the couch, unceremoniously climbing over the back and flopping onto his stomach with a loud oof.

You press the back of your hands to your cheeks in order to cool them down, shaking yourself free of the stupid butterflies in your stomach as you grab a broom and sweep your best friend’s auburn hair out to the backyard.

While tokoyami finds his alignment more in touch with literature, dark shadow is drawn to art. So of course Mrs Midnights art history class is their favorite. They love Mrs Midnight, she is always so sweet to them and even lets them be out during class. They have made lots of drawing to give to her and chat about all different time periods, styles, and regions of art. She also has a sadistic side and “enjoys tormenting her opponent” which dark shadow also has fun doing >:)

She has a reputation for being a very good listener and open to all kinds of problems. When someone is struggling with something embarrassing (such as nsfw, lgbtq, and romantic topics) she is someone that it feels ok to talk about those things with. We know she gives good advice and uplifts and inspires her students. Tokoyami has probably talked to her about such subjects before although he’s too focused on his hero work than to worry about romance.

While the audience usually sees nemuri in the light of her hero persona I like to think she is much more calm and motherly towards her students in one on one interactions. She is the fun and free spirit of UA which contrasts aizawa’s strict nature.

Nemuri adores shadow because they are cute and feisty. She loves their enthusiasm and vigor and how much they love participating in class.

She thinks tokoyami is to mature for his age and want him to have some fun and relax more, act like a kid. She tries to encourage some playfulness in him with the help of shadow and get him to be a little more reckless. It’s not very effective but toko tries to take her advice as much as he can. Maybe he does a couple things to be a bit more rebellious now.

She also tells him not to be so afraid of consequences for mistakes, has a lot of fear for hurting people and that seems to control a lot of his actions. Once again he’s not going to get over his traumas immediately but he’s slowly working on them.

I don’t really wanna write about her…loss but I suppose I can say something.

They were devastated obviously upon the news. There is guilt because they went to save hawks instead of rejoining their class and if they had been there would she have lived? Did she have to die in order to save hawks? but mostly there is grief, intense loss. Tokoyami disassociated as first and focused on being rational and calm, he tries to comfort his classmates…and shadow. Shadow cries, cries, and cries and is also so very angry, angry at who did this. It takes time for them to heal and gain some semblance of normalcy again. They can’t think about their favorite class without hurting and missing her so much.

Toko only allows himself to break down when he is in his room. Sometimes this frustrates shadow but they are familiar with Tokoyami’s suppression at this point and doesn’t hold it against him. He thinks he has failed by not listening to her as well as he should have. He regrets not getting closer to her before she was gone. It hurts, shadow holds him while they cry, maybe they are holding each other.

Shadow makes drawing for her still and puts them on her memorial. Someone collects them and puts them in a binder before they can be destroyed by the elements but I’m not sure who. Toko names his new sword “Midnight” after her.

-Veneer fights with his family at Thanksgiving over politics. Ever. Year. 

-When Velvet was around the middle school age, she wanted to be a ER nurse 

-Veneer wanted to do it with her just so they could still be together

-Sometimes they will say the same thing at the same time + finish each others sentences 

-Velvet used to get mad at Veneer when they were younger because she would watch videos where twin sisters would pretend to be each other at school, and she couldn’t do that with him because their hair obviously and some facial differences

Does Jaden ever feel guilty about Yugi 'giving up' his early adult years for him? I can picture Jaden in high school now finally realizing just how young Yugi was when he adopted him and maybe hearing a comment from the other students (not about him specifically maybe just some high school drama) that being a teenage parent is like throwing your life away.

Like he knows his Dad loves him and doesn't regret but he can't help but let his mind wonder to what Yugi's life could have been like with out him.

Oh yes.

Obviously he doesn’t get it when he’s small but when he goes away to school he starts to understand.

He can hear people talking about teen parents and the ‘waste of potential.’ He can hear his friends talking about their much older parents ‘who established themselves in their careers before having kids.’

His parents/family is young. Closer to older siblings than adult family members. But they did a great job being his dad/Oto-san/Uncles/Aunts. They went above and beyond for him. But they also sacrificed a lot.

He’s always seen the rumors in the media or at school. ‘Yugi Muto secret teen dad?” “Yugi Muto hides child for four years!” “Is Seto Kaiba ready for a family?” “Can the CEO have it all?” He grew up with the gossip rags and the social media speculation. His family shielded him when they could but they couldn’t always do that.

He’s know for a while that their family ain’t normal but it isn’t until Duel Academy that he starts to get over whelmed by guilt.

His friends are hanging out and some one brings up Yugi and his early career. And someone makes the comment that “Man I wish I could have seen where Yugi could have done if he wasn’t held back by his kid.” Yugi Muto is still the king of games and undefeated. But he doesn’t go to every tournament. (Jaden knows this is impart to work schedual and the fact that his Dad and Soto-San don’t trust all everyone who runs the tournaments. Zigfried for one. But people commonly blame the kings absences on his son. It’s rarely Jaden’s fault but the public opinion was already set against him.) Jaden can’t even defend himself without giving away his identity so he has to sit there and listen to his friends debate whether or not his adoption ruined his Dad’s life.

It happens several times.

People will even bring Seto into it. A delay happens of something gets put back. ‘I bet his son got in the way again.’ A different Deul Academy gets more funding or a unique opportunity. ‘He’s showing favoritism cause his kid goes there.’

But the guilt really doesn’t hit until Jaden is 18. He’s saved the world a dozen times (just like his Dad) but unlike his dad he’s traveling the world and finding himself. He has so much freedom and family supports him so much. But he’s also the same age Yugi was when he adopted him.

And he has to wonder. How much of the world did his dad get to experience before taking Jaden in? How much freedom did his Dad give up to give him stability? Jaden feels awful, he stole his Dad’s youth. He stole the whole DM cast 20s instead of being young and finding themselves and parting they were taking care of him.

And it kills him. He’s not worth it. He ruined their lives

Note the DM cast does not think this at all.

Jaden has been a blessing to them all. They all adore him and think he’s one of the greatest things that ever happened to them.

He brought Atem back (accidentally)

He reunited the friend group. They were all starting to drift towards their careers but Yugi needed help with Jaden gave them a concrete reason to still all hang out.

Friend group drift after high school. Unless they put in the effort to stay together. The DM cast loved each other and would always be close. But Jaden was a reason to get together regularly.

(Jaden’s first Christmas. Jaden’s birthday. They wanted to give him the best childhood and that meant being around when they could and calling when they couldn’t. Téa might have been in America and Mai might have been traveling but they are still Auntie Téa and Auntie Mai because they are there for Jaden.

Yes it was hard work. And they couldn’t do things normal people in their 20s can. But they also gained a lot with Jaden. If they wanted to do a friend trip Gramps could watch Jaden so they could be young and crazy or they took the kid and had a blast introducing Jaden to different things and experiences.

They all love this kid. He was worth it to them.

Jaden’s just is a real dark place already and being hit with the guilt of ‘forcing’ his family to give up their youths is hitting him at an awful time. Couple with the trauma from the dark world and wooooo.

Someone needs to sit the kid down and remind him how much they love him.

While we're waiting for Millie's shine in later episodes, how would you develop Millie and how would you write her?

PFFF uhh I expect we'll be waiting indefinitely tbh. But I guess the first step would be to ask a lot of questions and figure out which pieces are missing from the puzzle. Here's a list of what's on my mind about Millie, in no particular order:

In "The Harvest Moon Festival", she hugged her dad upon seeing him, but not her mom. Was she closer to her dad growing up? Why?

What first attracted her to knives and axes, and who taught her to use them as weapons?

What was her favorite job on the farm growing up?

Who was her first love?

How did she meet Blitzo and Moxxie?

What occupations did she have before joining IMP?

Does she ever hang out with anyone other than her coworkers and her husband? What are her friends like? How did they meet?

Does she want to have kids someday?

What's her educational background? If she went to college, which subject/s did she major in?

What hobbies does she have outside of killing people?

Millie's aggressive, violent side is emblematic of Wrath ring culture, but does she have any traits that clash with it?

What's her favorite location in all of Hell, and why?

Standard job interview fare: Where does she see herself in five years?

Why doesn't she ever stand up to Blitzo when he berates her husband? (I mean, in a meta sense, we know why, but what's the reason inside the narrative?)

What does her extended family look like? Do they all live in Wrath, or are they spread out across other rings?

What does she love most about Moxxie?

What did she and Moxxie do on their first date?

What's her most prized possession?

Most of these questions are fairly surface-level, like the kind of thing you'd ask someone you just met at a party. But the thing is, we've barely been introduced to Millie through this entire series. It'd help if she spent an episode or two away from Moxxie so we can see her personality as an individual rather than part of a set. These writers seem to think true love = being attached at the hip, but that's not how strong relationships work. You need a balance of the partners spending time together and having time to themselves. If a relationship leaves no room for independence, it'll get stifling pretty damn quick.

Maybe at some point, Millie gets burnt out from work and decides she needs a solo vacation for her mental health. This would separate her from Moxxie and provide an opportunity to glimpse parts of her life that don't revolve around him and IMP, as well as delve into the fractured mental state of a character who's usually a pillar of strength. To co-opt and rephrase a meme real quick: Everyone asks "What can Millie do for me?", not "How is Millie doing?"

Ideally, the whole episode would focus on her, with no B- or C-plots. She could meet her friends for coffee, or maybe visit extended family members. Perhaps learn some things about herself she never knew before. This all sounds very low-key and lacking in spectacle for this show, but any plot can crackle with deft storytelling. It'd be preferable if the episode answered multiple questions (not too many, but multiple) about the character at its center.

But when all's said and done, it seems the most important question is: What does this character currently struggle with the most? What do they want, and what's preventing them from getting it?

One major problem Millie and the other IMP employees have is that they don't seem to want anything. There's not much driving their actions.

Blitzo presumably wants his business to succeed, but what does that look like to him? What specific goal is he trying to reach? The Goetia family has a bit more direction: Stolas wants a deeper emotional connection with Blitzo (God only knows why, but that's what's presented to us), Octavia obviously wants her parents to stop fighting (though we have no idea how she plans to achieve this), and Stella wants Stolas dead (though she didn't think the consequences through, somehow) but everyone else is a big ol' question mark.

Anyway, that's just a basic overview of how I'd approach it.

Gonna make headcannons for my favorite characters because WHY NOT! >o<

Alejandro

He was born in Spain and lived there for about 5 years before moving to Canada

He has a 3 year age gap with José (he’s 19) and a 9 year age gap with Carlos (he’s 25)

Alejandro gets mad easily if he’s annoyed because of José. When he was younger If kids at school annoyed him he would express their anger, but soon he realized that kids didn’t like that about him, so when he moved he just got silently upset and would just ignore them if he got angry at them.

When Alejandro was 10, Carlos turned 19 and moved out to go pursue his soccer career

Since Spain Schools are so much different from Canadian schools (I mean in Spain the get to go home to eat lunch) Alejandro didn’t like the schools in Canada (he’s used to the schedule now)

Alejandro likes to put eyeliner on (sometimes mascara) and he has like this whole skin routine too

Alejandro straightens his hair almost every day, but when it gets wet it curls up. (His hair is more wavy then curly though)

Obviously he likes Carlos more than José. And since José never really liked him, Alejandro wanted to make sure that Carlos liked him. So whenever he did something that would upset Carlos, Alejandro got really upset at himself

Alejandro speaks Spanish to his parents most of the time, but talks to his brothers in English.

José beats Alejandro in pretty much everything, so he hates when he loses to other people. When he was younger he would get upset and almost cry, but now he just gets mad.

Alejandro listens to a good amount of Spanish music. Idk who he listens to exactly (despite me being Latina lol) but I feel like he’s listen to Selena

Alejandro doesn’t have many genuine friends. He’s using them all in some way. But he gets closer to Tyler and Lindsay. They annoy him sometimes but he starts to actually enjoy their company

Duncan

Duncan said he has brothers at one point in the show (so I gave him two) Duncan is the middle child. He has a decently big age gaps between his brothers too (idk how many years exactly but yeah)

His older brother (Dexter) was what inspired Duncan’s punk fashion and demeanor.

Dexter was a troublemaker as well, which influenced Duncan. When Dexter realized that he toned down what he did more, because he didn’t want Duncan to go too far down this rabbit hole of like crime and stuff (it didn’t work. Duncan is like worse actually)

Duncan is a major dog person. He loved his dog and cried when he ran away (he like never cried as a kid)

He got Scruffy when he was 13

Pretty much his whole family is disappointed in him (and Dexter) because of how much they act up.

The whole family went crazy when Duncan got sent to Juvie

Duncan knows that most of his family doesn’t like him, and that his dad doesn’t like him that much either.

His dad actually favors his younger brother (haven’t decided on a name yet) because he a good kid and doesn’t cause trouble and Duncan sees that. He doesn’t hold a grudge against his brother though because he understands why.

He loves giving nicknames to people (especially people he likes)

Probably a Mama’s boy

He collects lighters, and when they run out of fluid he puts them in a drawer. He has like a shit ton.

I’m a Duncan smokes kinda gal

Duncan steals clothes like a lot because he doesn’t have any money lmao

Physically he’s pretty weak. I mean he can throw a punch but can’t take one

He wears those over the ear headphones and covers them in stickers

DJ and Geoff are his best friends, but Duncan never pressures DJ into anything too crazy because he knows that DJ isn’t like him when it comes to crazy stuff (whether that be like smoking or vandalism)

He actually really likes hanging out and talking to Gwen. And why he does find her attractive, sometimes he kinda regrets dating her (SORRY I DONT SHIP GWUNCAN)

He doesn’t mind being friends with Zoey because he can drop his tough guy act a bit and she won’t judge (actually he can do that with DJ and Geoff too)

Since I’m a Malcan shipper lol I like to think that Mal and Duncan didn’t talk that much (bc Duncan didn’t recognize him at first in All Stars) but they interacted a few times. They both found the other attractive and kissed like once.

Sometimes he hangs out with Heather. It’s like a like-hate friendship where they genuinely hate each other sometimes but when the time is right they hang out together and have fun

Mal

(I did some research on DID so I hope the fronting stuff his accurate)

He was created by Mike when he was very young, protecting Mike from physical harm and abuse

Since he would front and get exposed to violent acts, he quickly learned how to fight back, which is why he’s so violent

He holds a lot of Mike’s trauma

He does not trust anyone, and he doesn’t care about anyone

Sometimes when Mike stressed about stuff that involved his parents, Mal would front. Usually during that time, Mal would find things to do that were kinda violent

As Mike got older, Mal started getting more violent. Mike didn’t like that

Mal found hurting his abusers very satisfying, so eventually violence in general became fun for him

Not so much Mal, but Mike’s closet is full of all kinds of different clothes for all his alters. Mal’s clothes are more dark and grungey

The reason Mike got sent to jail was for assault. Who he assaulted idk but neither Mike or Mal liked them.

Mal fronted pretty much the entire time in juvie because Mal thought that Mike couldn’t handle some of the people in there, and because Mal had gotten them there in the first place.

Once Mike realized what Mal did in juvie, and everything he did before he pushed Mal into his subconscious as he did not want Mal to front anymore. That made Mal extremely upset but he found himself not being able to front anymore

The reason he’s just straight up evil in All-Stars is because he was concealed for so long and felt that it was unfair and had bottled up anger

All the alters knew that Mike needed to leave his house, so Mal also tried to win the Million for all of them, because no matter what happened, he was created by Mike to protect him. Of course Mal was his own person but that in a way was a part of his purpose

Meeting Star Platinum☆

Jotaro x reader ♡

Your first time meeting Starts Platinum wasn't... forgettable to say the least.

Taking time outta your busy day was now a daily thing for you, getting out of classes a bit earlier then the rest to sneak out of school and ditch the rest of the day with jotaro, then after going back to his place for a bit or to yours to study. Either you followed his lead or he followed yours. You both trusted eachother enough to walk aimlessly behind the other. So that how this day started.

Walking out of class a few minutes early then sneaking past the security guard thats way to dedicated to his job was the easiest part about this whole meeting plan you both do. The hardest part being the aftermath of it all, for you at least. Jotaro couldn't care less about what happens in class while he's gone, he did leave for a while 50 days two years ago. He told you snippets about his trip and how he now hates Egypt. You two met two years after you transfered from your old school. Your old school was more chaotic then the one you're at now, leaving that school was easy because there was no body who would've cared.

Being the quiet smart kid people would pick on for fun was tough but at least you now have a chunk of muscle as your closest friend. Hating the fact you ditch classes just to spend time with him was unusual and made you want to itch at your skin till it all was gone, but you didn't mind either. You enjoyed any moment with him. Still sucks you won't know some things on the test next week but heyyyy who cares right? Making your way to the gate you both meet at you see a tall figure, and smoke coming from it's mouth. Jotaro. He turned his head and looked at you dead in the eyes, your body shivered anytime he just stared at you. "Hey Jotaro" you spoke out softly, getting closer to him. He looked down at you and took his cigarette out his mouth smushing it onto the wall behind him then flicking it into the trash can next to him "hey."

It was hard to read what this man was thinking, looking into his eyes for a bit to see what he's feeling, you gained this habit as a kid. Looking at someone's eyes can say a lot or very little. For jotaro...it was very little to understand what he felt or what he was thinking. "Follow." His tone was strict and demanding as most times he'd ask you to follow him, he walked fast because his legs were longer than yours but hed take smaller steps so you can walk either behind him or right next to him. Rambling about something that came to mind or your childhood favorites wasnt rare, you thought he didn't listen to you but he pays very close attention to whatever you say to him.

His heart was racing with what he was going to tell you, although most people think seeing stands for non-stand users is impossible it really isn't, the SWF found a way to show non-users stands. Which is how some of the workers have seen stands. Just so happens Mr joestar was giving a pair of the special goggles they use and gave them to jotaro, they are more like dad shades then goggles but they still call them goggles anyway. When jotaro found out about them he was over the moon, may not have shown it but he was, he's been wanting to show you star platinum so you didn't think he was crazy when he talked about it.

"so tell me, where you takin me today?" His train of thought was interrupted by your voice. "some random ass waterfall I found back at the park we went to last week. I went over there a little after we did and started searching the forest next to it, found a pretty sick waterfall." He pulled hit hat down and turned away. It wasn't just the waterfall he wanted to show you, obviously, but it wasn't star platinum either. What he really wanted outta all of this is to the see look on your face when he shows waterfall. He can picture it now, your face lighting up with joy, your eyes sparkling as the water does, your smile bigger then ever, a slight hint of blush of your face.

"here grab my hand this part is tricky" He said putting his hand out to you as you both tried getting over some rocks, in doing so getting close to the waterfall and whatever he wanted to show and tell you. The sky clear of clouds and the wind blowing just soft enough to tickle exposed skin. You can't help but feel as if you're about to be proposed to or confessed to, look at it from a side point; nerdy-ish girl and the delinquent boy go to a waterfall after ditching classes, are BEST FRIENDS and the day is beautiful. That's my story animation right there if I haven't seen it. You knew it wasn't the case though, jotaro never showed any signs of having romantic feelings for you, hurt to admit but you can't live in denial for long.

"alright we're here." He said pulling you onto the concrete. Just as he imagined your face light up light a torch. The waterfall had ingrown plants everywhere, there wasn't any graffiti on it and it looked old, it had beautiful flowers growing from the cracks and vines all around. "wow.." your smile was so big it was starting to hurt a little but you couldn't stop now. Why should you when you're this happy? Jotaro loved seeing you like this. A subtile smile tugging at his lips couldn't be help. He wanted to say how he felt so bad, he wanted to tell you that he loved you, he wanted to scream it from the top of his lungs how me wanted to marry you one day, he wanted to kiss you and laugh with you. His heart aches for you but he had to hold back just a bit longer, first you meet star then maybe if he still has the balls he'll tell you how he feels.

Time went by as you two sat down and just talked for a bit, the subject finally came up. Stands. "So tell me about your star platinum, how does he look? How strong is he? Is he nice or mean???" You bombarded him with questions. "How about I just show you him?" He ask you, rising a brow and turn your head in confusion as to how, as if he read your mind he pulled out some goggles and handed you them. "with these you'll be able to see stands, the people from the speed wagon foundation use them cause some aren't stand users so they invented tech to help them out with us" you put them on and smiled up at him. "Do I look good?" You winked at did finger guns "no you look awful" he chuckled lightly.

"alright. I'ma bring him out 'kay?" He spoke softer then usual. Nodding your head quickly excited to see his stand for the first time. You saw a purple figure slowly rise from jotaro's body, and them as if nothing it was there. There he was for the first time ever for you, Star Platinum. His hair defined the laws of gravity and floated in the air, his skin was purple with a few lines of gold that flowed in squiggles. He wore shoulder pads that looked his armor and a head band type thing his his hair, he was stunning. "holy fuck." Was all you could say. Jotaro chuckled at your response. "He's also pretty strong" before your could say a word you were in star platinums arms, he through you up and cought you like nothing. A mix of screams and laughs escaped you as this happened, jotaro over joyed with how you took it.

Star platinum set you down and retreated back into jotaro's body, "your goggles back good sir" you said handing them back as if you were some sort of knight to the king. "Why thank you my loyal knight" it was rare that he went along with your sarcasm or little things like this, but you loved it when he did. A smile still on both your faces, you semi out of breath, him with a flushed face it was nice to just be here with him like this.

It felt like time slowed as the two of you stood together, he looked at you with soft caring eyes and a warm but small smile. You looked at him with the kid of look only explained like a lover who's finally gotten to see the love of their life after years of not getting to. He wanted to blurt out he loved you, and so did you. It's like you two spoke to eachother without saying a thing. You knew after all this time of not knowing how he felt about you, you knew he loved you. Both of you feeling the connection and spark lighting up with every last once if your beings. He wanted to say I love you so bad but it was to soon, way to soon. So he smiled a little more and rested his hand on top of your head, he didn't want you so see him so this was second best. He would've pulled down his hat but that's to obvious.

"Y/n, I feel like it's pretty clear what I'm..." He stopped to rephrase himself. He hated words at this moment in time. "Y/n, would you like to go on some sort of date with me?" He could feel your body heat up just with his hand on your head. "yea..why not" he knew you wanted to scream yes but he's taking what he's getting. No complaints.

He removed his hand from your head and looked at you for a few seconds. "Let's go back to my place, it's a Friday so if you want you can stay the night or something. Maybe Saturday or Sunday we can do that date thing" he grabbed your hand gently and walked off. "Already holding my hand aye??" You said with a teasing tone "I'm just trying to help you get across don't get the wrong idea." You laughed lightly and started talking about some field trip you went to when you were a kid and how you hated your 6th and 8th grade teacher. He didn't say a single thing once to stop your rant.

Okay, so basically I have 3 main lego monkie kid aus (one of which i don’t work on at all but I still deeply love)

1. The DND AU which is made 1000x funnier now that Matt Mercer was on the show.

2. Pirate Au

3. Ink Clone Au

I mostly want to talk about my pirate au and the Ink clone au. So for the pirate au, I had NO idea how to actually write redson and the samadhi fire. To me, redson is prideful and arrogant, but is willing to die for their family. They won’t budge a centimeter if it meant their family would be okay, even if they’d never admit it, so I took that idea and ran.

The samadhi fire is the ultimate weapon of destruction, not chaos, but destruction. Redson’s idea of protection, is to be so destructive, that nothing can stand in their way. So, i took that idea too. Therefore, Redson asks Mei for the Samadhi fire in the Au, because he not only views it as his birthright, but as a way of protecting people he loves. (In one of the fics I wrote, he doesn’t even realize why they’re obsessed with getting back the fire. They just know they aren’t strong enough right now, because they internalized that they never will be.)

AND GUESS WHAT WAS IN SEASON 5 BABYYYYY. I have so much more to say on episode 5 but this is my take away. I feel like the reason why I’m not happy with season 5 redson, is that all their character development is happening off screen. We don’t see the causes of why Redson and Mei have each other’s numbers or why Redson is so comfortable around her. We don’t directly see why he’s gained better control of his anger, but i think that Redson is still very selfish. They still crave that destruction and view themselves as weak. So Im def going to be working on that >:)

Second My Ink clone au.

In that au, i took the fact that Mk could make a terrifying forest out of his stress and applied it to the two biggest stressors that Mk has faced (LBD AND INK DEMON.) The real demons are gone or sealed away, but Mk would obviously still hold onto what they said. So if Mk can manifest cursed evil trees, he can probably accidentally bring other things into reality too.

In the au, Ink clone works closer to how Monkey Mk acts. He tries to get Mk to tap into his power more often and not to run away from his past memories. He’s also an asshole and i love him.

In season 5!!! We find out that Mk’s own mind torments him with replica of the LBD. Which can I just say, made her my favorite villain in the show storywise. I don’t know of anyone else has been an unwilling hostage in their own brain before, but having thoughts that manifest like another person in your head is terrible. Anyways, the show took it in a different direction than my clone au, but it was still kinda fun to see some basic concepts work out in a similar fashion.

So. Which Ultraman series would you recommend for starters? Also would Shin Ultraman be a good starting point if you have never seen anything Ultraman related?

Honestly, those are both kinda tough questions 😅

Let's start with the Shin Ultraman one:

Shin Ultraman is a great movie, probably my favorite kaiju movie (sorry Pacific Rim and Final Wars), and you need no prior knowledge of Ultraman, mainly because the movie is basically an abridged version of the original 1966 series. So, as a movie, I recommend it, but I'm not sure about it as an introduction to Ultraman. Mainly because - just like Sentai and Rider - Ultraman is primarily a kids show, while Shin is aimed at a more mature audience, which is why I don't consider a great representation of the franchise as a whole. Don't get me wrong, it totally gets the themes and everything right, but the vibes are just different. So, I recommend watching it, but not necessarily as an introduction to the main franchise.

As for which actual series I recommend for a newcomer... well, I should preface this by saying that I've only really seen New Generation series (late Heisei and Reiwa era). The main reason for that is honestly that those seasons are shorter (about 25 episodes instead of the Showa and Heisei 50). But yeah, my recs are gonna be New Gen only.

I think the safest bet in my eyes would be Ultraman X. It doesn't really call back to any previous seasons, and it's pretty "vanilla" in its setup: The Ultra and his host are distinct characters from each other, the host works for an anti-kaiju defense force, etc. It sticks to the "formula" pretty closely, closer than any of the other New Gen shows I've seen... with the exception of one:

Ultraman Z is also pretty by the numbers, and has the distinct advantage of being fully legally available one Youtube, both subbed and dubbed. The main reason I recommend X over Z is that Z leans a bit more into the greater universe of the franchise, with appearances from old characters, one of which actually ends up playing a major role. That said, it was the first Ultra season I watched in full, and it wasn't like I was totally lost, but I would recommend watching Orb and Geed before jumping into Z. Speaking of which...

Ultraman Orb is actually the most recent season I fully watched, and I really like it. The main character is just really cool, and while the supporting cast starts off as kinda annoying, but they grew on me a bit over the course of the show. It's also pretty serialized, with some mysteries that slowly get revealed throughout the story.

Ultraman Geed, like Ultraman Orb, is a bit of a fan favorite. Now, technically, the main villain of the show is a major villain in the greater Ultraman lore, which at first might seem like this would be a bad entry point, but the show provides you with enough context that you can just treat as backstory. I also like that it kinda gives you a bit of "best of both worlds" when it comes to Ultras: The main character is actually an Ultra in human form, but there's also a secondary Ultra who does the more classic "bond with a human host" thing, so you get both common flavors of Ultraman in one series. Also, for what it's worth, I once commissioned a Youtuber who knew basically nothing about tokusatsu, let alone Ultraman, to review Geed, and he ended up liking it.

Finally, I'm gonna shout out Blazar and Arc, the most recent seasons, with Arc's second episode having just aired the same day I'm writing this. Blazar has some Ultraman staples, like the defense team and the human and Ultra being separate entities, but also does some new stuff with those tropes, like the Ultra not being able to properly talk, and the host actually being the head of the show's main defense team. Obviously, I can't say much about Arc yet, but it seems to go in a bit more traditional direction. Both are also available on Youtube, with Blazar having two audio tracks (Japanese and English) that you can switch between, and Arc having separate uploads for its sub and dub

Also, I should mention: Every Ultraman season prior to 2020 is available on BluRay via Mill Creek Entertainment, and from what I can tell, they seem to be region free. At least I had no problems watching them on my German PS4.

We don’t play the game, Anon, so the EN release doesn’t really concern us; we haven’t watched book 7 yet at all.

But when we do, I’m pretty sure I will draw at least some of the characters from it! Definitely more Meleanor and definitely Sebek’s grandpa because how fucking dares he be voiced by Koyasu of all people. I kind of wanted to draw him even before that point (just like Meleanor, I couldn’t resist, to be honest lol), but didn’t really have time for him…

I like to think that papa Leech would also be quite happy with Vil, even though admittedly this is based entirely on a headcanon. Since the boys found out in a vignette that one of his favorite movies has Eric Venue starring in it, I like the idea that papa Leech became a big fan of him. To the first Anon, I’m sorry for the late reply, I’ll share more thoughts in a moment. Starting with the Vil scenario!

I agree with you, second Anon! We talked about it in this reply, but very briefly.

Whether it’s Jade or Floyd who brings Vil to their house, Papa Leech is going to be super excited because he’d recognise the boy instantly. Somehow, their dinner with the Leech parents would end up looking more like a handshake event lol With Papa Leech asking a lot of questions about Eric and stuff. Even if Vil isn’t dating any of his sons, just the fact that he is their senpai would make Papa Leech super excited. Mama Leech would probably apologise for his behavior, but not in a genuine way, but just to make the situation even more awkward for Vil. Thank god Vil knows how to handle it… probably… maybe…

But ALSO!!! If Floyd or Jade (or both) bring Idia to meet their parents, Idia would be absolutely terrified; he would be terrified either way, but the Leech parents are especially intimidating and scary. But they would love him a lot! Not only because he is the Shroud’s oldest boy (connections are important), but because of how his demeanor and his frankly exciting sparkly look. They would stare at him without blinking, showering him with attention. And they would tease him a lot, maybe even more that they would tease Riddle. Because Riddle is just an overly serious baby, but Idia? He is so visibly uncomfortable and scared; teasing him is absolutely priceless. Papa Leech would sit very close to him and look very intimidating, maybe touch his hair, ask him what he is so scared of. Ask about which one of their sons Idia likes the most (neither… please let him go…), a lot of other questions that sound like “there is no correct answer, you are screwed either way, but I am having fun, so you’ll at least survive maybe”. And then Mama Leech would tell Papa Leech not to freak out this poor boy, start stroking Idia’s hand, talk to him in a sweet motherly tone that doesn’t sound even remotely comforting. Somehow… these two are even worse than Jade and Floyd…

Mama Leech is a huge gossip. She knows everything about everyone.

Mama Leech doesn’t cook, but it’s a secret, because she wants to keep the image of a perfect traditional wife.

Papa Leech used to operate on land too when he was younger. He still does sometimes, but very rarely.

Papa Leech thinks Azul is a great influence on his boys and wants them to learn everything they could from this friendship before getting rid of him (if he stops being such a great influence).

While the family bond is strong, the entire Leech family is aware that one of them might betray the rest at any given moment. That doesn’t mean that they don’t cherish family tradition and history.

AU where Bruce realizes Dick and Jason are grooming Tim. He realizes it while working on a case of a missing child and the perpetrator as they found out was the child's boyfriend who was way too older than them. It was purely accidental too.

He only learns it during breakfast with just Tim. They just woke up. Tim is younger in this AU than canon to make it ✨spicier✨ and also so that his coffee is even more limited that he's cranky in the mornings. Tim gets a text from Dick. Something about the text made Tim pout. Bruce wasn't really invested in knowing what it was that Dick sent but it felt like the right thing to do to his newly adopted son. To this day, Bruce still wonders if it was the right thing to do after what he has learned. Tim launches a rant about Dick and Bruce. And as it goes on, Tim accidentally reveals more than he wanted to, things he promised his brothers he would never tell Bruce.

Bruce is alarmed because some of the things Tim said had been far too familiar. Bruce couldn't tell why however. He doesn't know how to bring it up again because Tim has already changed the subject and was obviously. So Bruce resolves himself to just observing.

It was difficult for him to get answers. His sons are so careful when interacting with them. But he can't shake off the suspicion he feels. So he waits. And finally, he gets those answers.

Like how it starts, he finds those answers accidentally too. This time, it was Dick that confirmed his suspicion. Poison Ivy escaped and apparently took some pointers from Scarecrow but instead of showing their greatest fears, it shows one's object of desires. They thought it was a regular aphrodisiac. But then Dick called out Tim's name. Tim wasn't in Gotham. he's with the Titan's in San Francisco.

Later, after he has Dick sedated, Bruce hacks every tech Dick owns. His phone, his cameras, his laptop, everything. He learns things about his sons(sons, because Jason is on it too. Jason, the Red Hood, protector of children and women, who hates rapists) that night. He learns of how much they obsess over Tim. He learns of the stealth pictures they took of Tim asleep and/or naked. He learns of them planning on how to make Tim fall for them. He learns of their plans to run away and steal Tim if he ever finds out.

He knows the right thing to do would be to surrender his older sons to the authorities, to tell Tim that the brothers he knows of and loves plan to hurt him. But he didn't do any of that. He was scared of breaking up their family. When Dick wakes up the next day, with no memories of the night before, Bruce lies.

He doesn't want to break the family up but he does try to protect Tim. He avoids letting Tim and is brothers be in the same room alone at all times. As much as possible, he keeps Tim close. Sometimes, he sends Tim to the Titans whenever his sons have to stay in the Manor for extended periods of time. As much as possible, he gives Dick and Jason the missions that would take him out of Gotham for long periods of time. He accepts fewer missions that requires him to go to space without Robin. He does everything he can to protect except for giving his older sons up. He pushes for Dick and Jason in team ups with heroes their age. He'll drop hints to them of finding someone to date or setting blind dates up and framing it as help for covering their secret identities. Everything is working so well and he doesn't even have to sacrifice any of his kids

Then Tim starts getting closer to Kon. Bruce didn't know he'll one day push hard for his son to date and then marry a Super. It's been a few years since he learned of what his older sons had planned to do. His family is bigger than before. Although they had their losses over the years, such as Alfred, everything is great. Dick and Jason seems to have forgotten their feelings for Tim. Dick had even been engaged at one point. And his favorite child, Tim, is so in love. It's adorable. HE and Kon are good for each other.

...

But then Kon dies. Tim was inconsolable. He spent many days locked up in his room crying. Bruce's heart broke for his son. When things seemed to start looking up for him, another one of his son's friends died. And then Steph. Then, Cass had to leave for Hong Kong. Then Damian dies. His son was becoming even more depressed. Bruce has nightmares of one day going into his son's room and finding that his son couldn't take it anymore. But things start looking up. Tim starts to be happy again.

One day, they make plans to travel as a family. A little treat for when he graduates high school. Later that day, Darkseid attempts an invasion. Batman dies. And Bruce Wayne is nowhere to be found.

Unlike how it all starts, Bruce finds it out on purpose. This time it was Jason. A few days after he got back from the time stream, a few days after finding out that most of his family is back and alive and well again, Bruce gets a text from Jason. It was a picture of Tim, his hole stretched out on his older brothers' cock, taken the day after his supposed death.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so good especially if you consider that despite how he acts, bruce is probably a lot more affected by cases involving children than he lets on. for bruce it's always easy to recall the shuttering horror, devastation, and loss of innocence he experienced the day his parents were killed. it's what forges his connection with both dick and jason, two children he met under horrendous circumstances, who experienced pains no child ever should. bruce had felt a kinship with them and the crying child inside his mind.

when it comes to cases involving the vulnerable...it's no different.

children are among the most vulnerable of society. they're the easiest targets and only the lowest of the low go after them because what is there to be proud of in victimizing a child who was smaller, weaker, and more naive than you?

but it happens.

the worst cases though, the absolute worst ones, were the cases where perverse animals took a child and twisted their mind, made them believe they weren't being hurt. the ones where young kids would find validation or adoration in the arms of strangers who fluffed their feathers and pretended like everything they said was profound and took advantage of the fact that their parents weren't watching them closely or that their parents didn't care.

a stranger being the one responsible used to be so rare.

the majority of bruce's cases used to be with family or extended family or close family friends doing the preying. ('oh come sit on cousin nick's lap)

but then the internet rolled out and it was like when fast food restaurants started offering toys with every meal to entice children to follow the trail of gingerbread all the way to the witch's house. kids tim's age were on the internet unsupervised and any freak could just start...talking to them. the stupid ones got caught quickly. the ones that got too eager and couldn't hide what it was they wanted enough or who tried to entrap a kid who wised onto them.

the real danger was in the smart ones. the charming ones. the attractive ones. the ones parents and the community trusted, the ones people saw dragging a child into a bush and didn't think twice because 'oh the youth pastor who hands out toothbrushes on halloween would NEVER!'. the ones little boys and little girls just beginning to blossom into sexuality giggled at because such an attractive /olderperson was giving them attention.

the online world has grown just as dangerous as the one outside. when dick and jason were kids all bruce had to do was make sure they didn't get snatched at the park but now bruce had to warn tim away about talking to strangers online, to never share photos or information about himself, to not play games that kids at school did because they were games that people he didn't know could talk to him on.

tim was a good child. sweet, obedient, he always followed the rules and listened to bruce and his big brothers.

bruce doesn't need to worry about tim. until he does.

bruce has a case with a missing child who turned out to be a child that ran away from home to go stay with his boyfriend. A boyfriend closer to dick's age which is horrible because the child was only a few months older than tim. bruce recalled the sight that had greeted him when he tracked down the house little milton glassman was being kept. the bedroom was of a man who still lived with his parents, who milton befriended in a chat room about his favorite cartoon. there had been dirty, half-eaten plates of food and tipped-over drinks littered every surface. clothes, trash, and wrappers covered the floor so thickly bruce couldn't see the carpet. the "bed" had been a bare mattress on the floor with odd stains on them. it was a dump and no place for a child like milton who'd been breathing in secondhand smoke from marijuana for a week. the conditions were terrible, milton had looked dirtier than the photo his parents had given- but he'd resisted. he'd fought against bruce taking him and ardently defended his "boyfriend" much to bruce's horror. that's when he realized that the multi-colored wrappers surrounding the bed weren't from food or snacks...they were from condoms.

the man that had talked milton into staying with him for awhile because he was feeling horny and wanted some "easy" hole like he'd bragged to his friends had left that upper-class suburban home in a stretcher.

bruce thought of that case for days afterward. he'd already paid for milton's therapist through a wayne enterprise outreach program centered on traumatized children.

but that still hadn't changed that bruce couldn't shake the desperation in milton's voice, the way his little hands had tried to pry bruce away from his rapist, the way he'd even tried to punch bruce with his little fists hurting his hand more than bruce's armor.

bruce thought of that little boy and he thought of his precious tim who was so close in age.

bruce tells himself he's just too wired up when tim says...strange things at breakfast while whining about dick. how dick had broken a promise to tim and tim was upset because tim had never broken a promise to him and that he'd always kept their 'special play times' secret like dick made him and...that just sets off an automatic alert in bruce's brain. of a young child keeping secrets from their parents for other family members. of 'special' play times.

but it's...dick. dick grayson. dick grayson who bled justice. bruce's eldest son.

but tim is...cagey about it when bruce asks and tries inquiring about what a 'special' play time was. bruce sees how his eyes dart guiltily as he tells bruce he wasn't supposed to tell him and that dick will get made at him.

mad at him? why would dick get mad at tim, a child, for not keeping a secret. children shouldn't burdened with that kind of responsability especially if its one where they keep secrets from their parents.

bruce doesn't like it. it's just...ringing too many alarms. and maybe he wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't just come off of the glass case but...tim's words and behavior makes bruce look into it. at least to clear his conscience.

but he can't find anything. tim's room is bug-free, his electronics have nothing suspicious on them beyond normal texts from dick which doesn't carry any charged energy or thinly veiled inuendos that go over tim's head.

bruce is...disquieted by the lack of evidence. it could all be in his head but...bruce's gut had never steered him wrong.

it feels wrong to harbor such thoughts about his son and with no further evidence...bruce resolves to just..wait. to wait and keep a closer eye on tim and his brothers. to carefully probe questions when tim was no longer so tense and when his brothers were alone with just bruce.

and maybe its that alertness that has him swinging in to pull dick out of a bad situation with ivy's pollen. dick is in a bad way and at first bruce is worried but then...he starts talking.

in the morning after the antidote had been administered dick didn't seem to recall anything.

but bruce did. he recalled the obscene hip thrusts and the moaned and panted calls of tim's name. he recalled having to pin down dick's hands under the straps of the gurney to stop him from masturbating to thoughts of...of bruce's youngest child.

...but yet...aside from this. aside from this twisted desire for tim...they were good people. they were good heroes. it's just this one thing about them...and...and they're still his boys. the boys he took in because their lives would be so much harder if he hadn't and..

and so bruce...can't do it. god help him he can't do it.

so he resolves to create distance. he gives a little something through dick's IV to worsen the memory loss of the night and sets to formulating a plan to push them away from tim. giving tim duties directly under his supervision so jason and dick don't have a chance to be alone with him. he starts sending jason and dick farther away on necessary missions- into space when he can. bruce resolves to limit the missions that take him out of gotham because when he's out of gotham it's dick and jason who watch tim for him.

bruce hires an actual babysitter. a high school girl from a nice family bruce knows. she's a closeted lesbian so bruce feels more than assured leaving her with his young son who is confused about why dick and jason can't watch him anymore but accepts bruce's explanation about helping a teen girl with a babysitting gig to make some extra money.

bruce encourages tim to go to san francisco on the weekends, he starts asking a few of the socialities to set up dates with their daughters and his sons, he frames it to both dick and jason as if this is some necessary evil. maybe bruce even slips a few condoms into their palms when giving them handshakes as they leave to establish some subtle messaging and assuring them they wouldn't be shamed.

bruce tries his best. he does the most he can to ensure that they're all kept seperate and that tim is free from their influence. and...as much as it hurts him to know what they're really like bruce can't find it in him to want his sons punished for this. he hopes with time they'll just get over it.

tim gets a little older. the family gets a little bigger. age finally catches up with alfred. dick gets engaged with one of those socialities bruce set up a date with.

then tim comes home on the holidays holding hands with superboy and bruce finds he's not as outraged at the prospect as he thought he'd be.

it's been a while since bruce had thought of what he found in dick's possession on that day. everything seems to be looking up and bruce couldn't be more relieved.

but then kon dies. and the rest of the family starts dropping or leaving. dick's fiancee leaves him.tim starts falling into a depression and nothing bruce says seems to help. tim is inconsolable most days and bruce can't figure out what to do to make up for the gaping hole in tim from losing friends, family, and his first boyfriend.

tim grows deathly quiet and rarely leaves his room. he barely eats and its a struggle to get him to go to school. its a miracle he graduates at all.

at some point tim appeared to have...perked up and even if it was only temporary bruce could only breathe a sigh of relief. tim begins venturing out of his room again and with the impending graduation bruce decides to propose a trip with tim. a reward to the family lakehouse for graduating early.

but that never happens. because bruce is "killed" but then something isn't right with his corpse and the league saves him.

bruce recalls how tim was still nursing wounds from his recent losses and can't help but fear for how he coped with bruce's "demise".

he finds out.

from an email with a photo dated just two days after his "death" at darkseid's hands. it's of tim. on his back with dried tear tracks and red eyed looking clearly like he'd been crying only now he was arching and moaning as a cock was buried deep into his stretched, dripping cunt. bruce recognizes a tattoo on the thigh and even if he hadn't the email clearly being from jason's account was proof enough.

bruce had thought his boys had changed. he thought that he'd saved them from these...urges.

but clark arrives just moments later, expression somber and told him that there was something they needed to tell him. that days after his apparent death the last of his three sons had up and left leaving gotham to be cared for by the birds of prey and they'd had no luck locating them so far.

the dread and cold seeping fear that floods bruce in that moment is indescribable.
