much needed reupload of one of my favorite instances of musical timing in ANY CARTOON. this is one of those scenes where i've been mulling over how to properly express the sheer catharsis and wonderment this clip gives me, pontificate and try to sound smart by gushing about the animation technique or the behavioral implications within the scene but i truly think it's an instance where brevity works best: I LOVE IT

#EDIT TURNER DOES THE BANJO SCENE! I DONT KNOW WHO DOES THE FIRST #i THINK it's animated by Dick Bickenbach. but i'm not certain so i don't want to put it in the body of the post if i'm wrong #it'd explain the timing and movement and i think i see some Bickenbachian impact lines at the end but just don't know for sure #i was sure the first scene was Gil Turner before posting this but am also not sure LOL #i've been a bit frazzled and frazzled about being frazzled lately but seeing this again genuinely made my day #healing powers of duck #lt #yankee doodle daffy #freleng #vid

been thinking a lot lately on what it takes to really sustain a movement. I think USAians expect protests, boycotts, and letters to be met with instant results, and when this doesn't happen, there's helplessness, burnout, and the movement is quietly dropped...

as we approach the year of the dragon, the hydra comes to mind.

over 30,000 innocent Palestinians are now gone, on our tax dollars, with no end in sight. now more people than ever realize that our representatives do not represent us, or care to. we are financing our own destruction, and we are running out of time.

so what does it really take to build a new world? who do we need? drawing on those who did it best (the global south truly has all the answers), these were my conclusions, but please tell me if you have any notes.

all I know is that our feelings of helplessness are by design. we cannot do it alone. it will not happen overnight. when one head tires, there must be two others to take it's place. happy early new year. we all have a role to play. which one are you?

so far, I've almost passed out Twice!!! but have thus far AVOIDED ACTUALLY FAINTING

Trying to design the fae for my story and it’s really hard lol. I’m trying to give them a beautiful yet spooky design and it is… not going well lol. Fae are brightly colored which goes against my color choices lol, and the face shape is giving me struggle cuz it’s strange looking but I don’t want them to have a human like face you know? I want them to be human like but otherworldly. The struggle. Rn I’m trying to base them after moths so we’ll see how this goes. I like the gold accents though, they’re cool

I just think Eddie held Buck’s hand in his and with slow, gentle movements taught Chris how to change the dressings on Buck’s burnt palms under the guise of a first aid lesson when really it brought Chris (and Eddie) comfort to be able to take care of Buck once he was out of the coma.

The possible danger!!#And then by that point he's just so used to everyone ignoring it that their concern for him is barely even a factor weh ZEX ;;#Plus it's just a cool effect haha - sudden blood from nothing! Very rich mental movement #At least Max had someone concerned for him about it <3 Not that he could do anything about it but even just the validation of seeing it!#He has enough cuts on him :( Poor tenderized flesh #He gets all crabby from being sore from healing constantly haha :'D Of course he would!#One thing I found very interesting was the scar sidedness :0 Most of the examples in the gallery have his scar and missing eye opposite #But that's not necessarily the case! I actually scoured mid-read and there /are/ a couple instances of matching side!#They're very tiny so I overlooked them upon first viewing hehe ♪ But they're there! Bathroom selfies for the win!

Okay, they are super awkward but, OH WELL

My love and I walked 5.18 miles tonight, it was a really nice time together and after the crazy day I had a really needed some movement and peace.

I really want to start working on my arms more in the near future and really figuring out a good stretch routine.

i had a random thought. so aizawa's arms were destroyed by the nomu right? what if the doctor added the extra arms to yabureme bc his actual set had nerve damage and he wouldn't be able to use them for fine motor stuff (like his knives) even after nomuification. so he can only use his new set for stuff like that. that would be so confusing for yabureme too he's just have this less functional set of arms but no memory as to why they are like that, just the frustration and pain that comes with it.

You and I have same brain!!! This was exactly my thought process too. Dupli-arms was more meant for expanding the surface area of skin for more eyes but they definitely assist with the busted arm situation. This does become a plot point in the comic so I won’t go further than that!
