The current one is I Won't Hurt You, a fluffy but surprisingly emotional story about a kitten who transformed into a catgirl in a laboratory experiment and gets adopted/abducted by a powerful bounty hunter with a soft heart. Thoughts on Pit Babe the Series (major spoilers ahead)

Things I liked

car go vroom vroom 🚗 🚗💨

Charlie being a cinnamon roll soft puppy that melts Babe's walls 🥰 (also shoutout to Pavel's smile because that stole hearts)

Jeff!! Literally my favourite character out of the lot. He's cute, antisocial, saves himself and takes no shit ("I can leave the garage but I won't admit guilt for something I haven't done;" "If he's in a bad mood, why bring it to me?") all while being soft inside. My baby, my king 👑

Alan and Jeff ♥️ Charlie and Babe are cute but these two have a special place in my heart. The looks that were exchanged when Way accuses Jeff of causing Babe's accident (Alan's concern, pain at having to kick Jeff out, how Jeff's trusting gaze turns into hurt and anger at not being believed, the final glare as he walks away from the circle and Alan rushing after him aaaahhh). The way their relationship develops slowly till we get to episode 11 and it all comes rushing together 💞💞

The Hunter X Hunter team being a family

Kenta being morally grey 🩶. With all of Tony's children, you can see to some extent his influence over them but Kenta visibly struggles under it. The way he recognises when Tony is being cruel and wrong but can't stop him, and how he follows orders as far as he can, how he never hurts Pete, how he stays even though he knows that he's being abused. He gets fired because on some level he doesn't really want to hurt other people, he's just never been valued as anything but a weapon. When he stabs Tony and asks him to stop hurting other people? That hit.

KIM. Can we get some applause for him? I loved how principled he was. He's just out here working hard to beat the rival he admires on fair terms and Tony and alpha auctions just have to ruin it.

North and Sonic, the iconic duo ✨ who provide some much needed comic relief when shit gets dark. The series played with the idea of them being a couple and I'm fine either way. Platonic, romantic, idc, I just need them on screen together.

The Pete/Way and Pete/Kenta stuff happening. On one hand, Pete and Way's interactions suggested a romance (drinking together, tender moments, how Pete really sees Way - his sadness, guilt, and general feelings of fucked-up-ness, and how their enigma/enigma pairing echoes Charlie/Babe's alpha/alpha one). But the flashback of Pete and Kenta in the House of Suffering suggests that there's something there (was that an accidental kiss?). There's also the moment when Kenta corners Pete earlier in the series and Pete totally looks at his mouth, hmm. I think I prefer Pete/Way but I'd be down with Pete/Kenta because of the angsttt.

Was really into the AlanJeff sexy music (ifykyk)

Things I didn't like

Charlie's whining. Enough said.

Babe not apologizing for the way he treats Charlie when they're on the outs. Like yeah, he says sorry when Charlie is fake-dead but it shouldn't take that for him to be like "honey, sorry I was a dick."

Winner being Evil. Was hoping the tension between him and Kim would be the fun kind 😉 but Winner is a bully so that's not happening :((

Way's rushed redemption arc. If it wasn't for the sexual assault, he'd be up there with Kenta on the fun morally grey list. What he did to Babe could have been so much worse if he wasn't stopped but the way the storyline frames that as something that he can come back from just because he decided to change is so outta whack. If he stayed dead - S2 suggests otherwise - that would have been fine but he's coming back and like . . I don't know if sacrificing your life makes up for almost raping your best friend (again, we have every reason to believe he would have). Soo no longer attached to Way as a character, which is fine because the way he emotionally isolates Babe was already such a red flag.

About halfway through the series I felt like it should be called Tony's Children or something cause god, where was the racing and the fun group dynamics?? Instead it was kidnapping! Predictions of death! Sexual assault! Human trafficking! I know S2 will have the same dark themes, but I hope it's more balanced.

Although there were definitely parts of this show I wasn't a fan of, it was overall a fun time and I'm looking forward to seeing S2 and (hopefully) lots more AlanJeff. And cars going vroom vroom 🚗💨

A man of silk-like locks of hair, a man of strength, integrity, and passion. A man of romance that valued the beauty of art just as you did. He was all that you wished for and even more. Even the poetic fairy tales that were read to you as a child could never compare to the elegance Rook presented himself with. He treated you with only gentleness entwined in lyrical expressions with every interaction you had with the man. Each word from his soft lips bewitched you like a trap set to lure in prey, with that prey being your heart. Nevermind a gastly prince; the Pomefiore third year was an enigma full of unexpectedness. His sweetness drew you in, and you were held captive by his charming disposition since the day you met the eccentric hunter. 

Every moment, hour, and second of your day was filled with daydreaming thoughts of the huntsman. He plagued your mind like a broken record that refused to change its song. Each time you stepped out of Ramshackle and into Night Raven’s campus, you looked out for the iconic feather of his hat searching for the said man. Each time you visited Epel at Pomefiore’s dorm, you longed to magically bump into Rook—in hopes of striking a conversation with him. He was someone you wished to be with. A star in the night sky you hoped to reach for. 

You loved him.

So when the golden young man had called you to an open field surrounded by the luminous light of many fireflies, your chest had risen and fallen in an uneven rhythm, nervousness coursing through your love-struck body. Anticipation was evident in the way you shuffled your feet under the alluring manner of his glances. You looked up to face him—face burning up at the hunter’s mere presence—as the lustrous gleaming of the critters around you illuminated onto you and Rook like tiny specs of magic in the night. You peered at the enchanting view in front of you in wonder.

His eyes were green like fireflies. 

“I am so incredibly besotted by your very existence,” Rook began as he pulled you out of your moment of astonishment. “You are a light brighter than the stars themselves. A cluster of glimmer I wish to keep for myself. And I stand here before you in complete adulation.” The young man then proceeded to gradually step closer to your form, narrowing the distance between your chests. Extending his hand out to hold yours, Rook delicately spoke in an affectionate tone. “Je t'aime, mon amour. I love you most indefinitely.” 

You stood in your place among the shimmering lights of the fireflies, aghast at the words Rook had just spoken. The man you adored so earnestly from afar had just admitted his feelings for you. It was like a fantasy you couldn’t even imagine. Maintaining an eager gaze, you softly muttered in bewilderment, “This can’t be real… It feels too good to be real. Tell me this is all a dream before I start believing.”

“Then believe if that is what your heart calls for, mon trésor,” Rook said in a hushed voice that matched your own, inching closer to your ear with each syllable of his sentence. “Every waking moment with you is like a dream turned into reality.”

Your face flushed at the way his breath tickled the side of your neck and smiled. “I love you as well, Rook.”

And with everything said and done, the two of you cradled one another in each of your arms as the lightning bugs continued to angelically shine above the crowns of your heads in an iridescent ambiance. Orion shone in the night sky along with the many other constellations, appearing to be staring down at you and his fellow hunter in awe. Even the moon seemed to be entirely enthralled by the two of you as it adored you in its place high in the stratosphere.

I was hoping to continue with this dynamic and here I am again. Another of many iconic couples that have represented love or romance in a different, healthy way and breaking away from the cliché and the established.

If you have had the opportunity to see Samurai x It is truly a treasure. The anime is a beautiful work, despite all the disaster and the author's private life, this piece is truly unique. If you have the opportunity to see it, do it but if you have the opportunity to see the live action of this same project, it is definitely incredible and you are going to thank me.

Samurai X It is a whole accumulation of feelings and experiences that address the deepest part of the human being, the bonds that come to form, from war, conflict, from a difficult and complicated past but from a bright and hopeful future.

All this surrounding Kenshin (Batozai), the main protagonist, in ancient feudal Japan. And now…where are the parallels with Din and Bo in their relationship??? I'll explain it to you….

Kenshin is a rounin, he is a remnant of war, someone who flees from this bloody past, who seeks refuge in a place of peace, who has left the sword to change his path. And in the process he meets Kaoru, a strong and brave girl who shows him that the best way to face his problems is not to run away, that his life cannot be summed up simply by hiding and doing nothing. Someone who shows him that he can have a bigger purpose and settle down, have support and people who love him.

Does it sound familiar to you?? Continuous… Kenshin has taken the sword as a tool to heal past wounds, to touch hearts and try to change them to peace, but he is also a born, exceptional warrior, he is a prodigy with the sword and does not hesitate for a moment to protect what he loves and between that to protect Kaoru ... Really here Netflix excelled with these movies, you can still find them… And Takeru Sato (Kenshin actor) is beautiful, he is magnificent in this role.

Kaoru inherited his father's dojo and therefore his teachings in the art of the sword, he knows that it is his responsibility to maintain the honor of his family and expand that knowledge, defend it when it has been stained by people who want to usurp that knowledge and protect to his own, in the process to Kenshin, to protect his village and his people. In all the movies the interaction between them is very strong, the attraction and the soft and subtle way that Kenshin treats Kaoru and cares about her. In the anime, I promise you that the scenes are more explicit, but in the movies, there is a very particular and cute way in which these two interact, without even a simple kiss, you know that they love each other and that their feelings are bilateral. .. .... Although Kenshin already had a past love relationship, it was something that left him very hurt and exposed, but with Kaoru the light of a better future is always there. She is usually stubborn and rude but little by little her temper softens and it is evident at all times that she cares about him… LOL like a certain red haired Mandalorian woman protecting a certain Mandalorian from the silver beskar.

And if we go to the DinBo plane, of course we find similarities… Din, a lost bounty hunter, drowned in a desolate world, who is saved from those waters by Grogu and that little by little his change begins and that thanks to Bo katan for his words "some of us have a greater purpose" and because your needs as a parent make you want something better for your child and for him… it is more than obvious. Bo katan in parallel with Kaoru, they try to preserve the family legacy, the best of them, protect their people and in the process be better people and provide support and a new home to new ones who want to join this family. I also add that there is a very special parallel with Grogu, being an orphaned and abandoned child, he is adopted by Din and they take care of each other, now being the largest clan, a clan of 3, Bo Katan enters as part of their new bond and She also looks for a way to protect them. Kaoru adopted a child "Yahiko" some time ago, showing him the techniques of his dojo and making him his pupil, Kenshin enters this family dynamic, protecting this new group and also being Yahiko's teacher at times.

Relationships that can go beyond stereotypes, that sometimes clichés make them seem boring or repetitive. You were delighted by the low-pitched, soft groans that escaped Hunter, and you would have complimented on how sexy he sounded, but you wondered if he’d even hear you. His enhanced senses would allow him to achieve great things when used correctly, but the question had lingered within you—how much would they still be able to perceive if they were blocked?

This question had its logic, but with Hunter being the hunk he was, you had no choice but to experiment with it in a more fun way.

The earplugs he wore were some of your preferred attachments for whenever you wanted to escape into silence; they’d granted you many a quiet night when others were chatting or partying, and you knew they could block some of the loudest, ordinary sounds. The blindfold Hunter had over his eyes was a long piece of black silk folded many times over to fully shield his sight from any light, preventing him from seeing you as you hovered over his body. If Hunter wanted to get an idea of where you were, he’d have to use his awareness.

The last detail was probably your favorite, a classic in your own mind. His hands were tied to the headboard using his own iconic red bandana; the garment that defined him now tied him to the bed, surrendering him to you, and it was impossible not to let your gaze wander over Hunter’s beautiful body. 

His thick muscles tensed and relaxed with his breaths, and the hairs on his arms stood on end whenever you ran your tongue up his abdomen. The featherlight touch of your fingertips tracing his pectorals made Hunter shudder, and through his skin, you could feel how fast his heart was beating. 

As you moved around, Hunter’s face would at times gesture to you, making you smirk out of pleasure, but not without adoration. He couldn’t see you, but he still knew where you were. If he weren’t naked tied to a bed under you, you would have gawked more on that fact.

“You’re so beautiful, Hunter…” You whispered, your little smile widening. “Can you hear me?”

“Yes,” Hunter said, his voice breathy and high-pitched, at least by his standards.

You gave a seductive laugh at the sound of his voice, and you watched as his body squirmed under your touch when you rested your hands flat on his chest, letting your fingers softly tangle themselves in his prominent chest hair.

“Well, then,” you reached for him and took the earplugs from him. “I think it’s safe to say these aren’t doing much. You really are enhanced.”

Despite his submission, Hunter’s lips curved in a confident smirk. “Yeah, I am.”

“Oh, I see it,” you purred, your tone alluring.

I'm not sure how to explain!

It has a certain appeal! Maybe it's because it seems a bit reminiscent from Classic Mega Man...?

X4 - X7 = Art style

X didn't change much from X3 to the next games (except eye color and apparently rounder shoulder pads, I think), but the style is of course, iconic!

X8 = More lines, slightly more robotic look, more cylindrical

This is the best picture of him I could find because I think he doesn't look so charming in other artwork... Or the models... Oh, the models...

And he's not so bad!

I really like the x shape on his... ear lights. The lines also make it a bit more clear that he's not human. The black joints are also really cool!

Especially in Day of Sigma, X has this air of someone with a kind and gentle personality, which is perfect because that's exactly what he's like!

The way he's portrayed writing wise really helps, but design is an essential part of that too!
