Every day of my life is so miserable. I saw the best most beautiful character in the whole wide world and when I went "Omgg who is that they are so wonderful, so delightful."

He's from League of Legends. He's from fucking League of Legends.

this concept that won't leave my brain. It's like a little gremlin banging to be let out.

Particularly, - Batman is Gotham's hero; He's not like any other baby faced, squeaky clean, popular good guy. He's scarred and brutal and violent in his service.

But it's fine, because Gotham is like that, too.

It's never peaceful, but it's standing strong, and there's an unanimous agreement they have Batman to thank for that.

The thing about Bruce is that he gives. He bleeds for Gotham, dies little by little every night protecting it, sacrifices everything he can and a little bit more so it won't be swallowed up by the evil that took his parents.

He doesn't expect parades, or celebrations, or gratitude because in his mind, it's just the decent thing to do.

Goodness isn't a chore. It's a choice. It's a sword you pick up again and again until your hands spill red and then pick it up some more.

And there's a collective fear in Gotham City. that one day, Batman would get tired of bleeding. When the GCPD gangs up on him, for refusing to let them gun down an Arkham escapee, they watched.

" He's not presenting a danger right now. His healthcare isn't enough to cover medication and he was dissociating. Let me take him back."

" For what? So he could escape again and rob another bank, like all the others?! Why are you protecting this psycho?!"

" He needs help."

" I don't care. His 'needs' aren't our damn problem. He wouldn't be anyone's problem if you just stepped aside and let us do the job you're too chicken shit to do. Who's side are you on, anyway?"

Batman's jaw is screwed tight, but he doesn't move. If he did, that guy hiding behind him would paint the streets red with a bullet hole in his head.

" We're supposed to work together, Batman."

" I work with people. Not pigs."

Commissioner Gordon tried to be fast, but he was pushed back as nearly half the police force swarm Gotham's knight; Kicking, stomping, punching, attacking because they know he can't attack back.

Because he's Batman, and they're just people. And the crowd watches, eyes wide and limbs frozen, until they can't. Until they won't.

There's a purse flying between the two crowds, hitting one of the officers square in the face.

" Hands off our Bat!"

There's pushing; That's what Bruce can see. Bodies on bodies, but it's easier to breathe again without a forearm pressing on his windpipe. He can't tell what's happening, but he's pulled back, handled almost... Carefully.

" Hey," he knows this voice, this face; It's the mailman, probably the one guy brave enough to deliver to the Waynes, who wonks for Damian three times as he drives away, elping him stand on a bad leg. " You alright, Batman?"

Someone else picks up his weight, - It's the owner of the grocery store his boys like to shop at.

She's glaring at police man currently sharing punches with an angry mob of people. " Bastards roughed you up, huh? Jim! Get your car!"

The people make way for Jim until he safely unlocks his car, threatening to fire anyone who even touches a trigger before he wheels over to where they're at. " Take care of him, will you?"

Jim nods, " I'll try."

They drive away, Jim locking the car because he knows Batman. But the people here are tough. They're just as angry and vengeful as their city is.

" Why?"Bruce is speaking outloud, watching a dozen, hundred people fight; For him.

Jim thinks it's very simple. " Gotham's fucked up. But we take care of our own," and he looks at Batman, eyes gleaming and grateful and relived, just like the runaway in the back-seat. " You may not be one of them, but you're one of us. Hope that's enough."

There's quiet.

" Thank you. For fighting for us."

"... Thank you for letting me."

Batman says nothing, but he doesn't need to. Jim doesn't say anything to his glassy eyes, or the temple of his lip.

Hope isn't permanent, but it's not lost. Not if they're reminded to find it.

So I recently made a cosplay list of DC cosplays I want to do, and the different versions for certain characters. I recently saw the comic panel of Damian getting stabbed and had a thought.

I remembered how some people did this cosplay of Junko where they attached the stuff that stabbed her to the cosplay (reference photo below, I am not the cosplay so credit to them and the photographer!!)

So what if I did something like this, but cosplayed Damian’s New 52 robin suit and attached a sword to me

Just me, Damian Wayne, walking around with a sword through me bringing trauma wherever I go, seeing if I can make a Batman weep.

Okay, so, you guys.

I know everyone is speculating about who will die at the end of the season. And Alastor has a pretty fucking massive target on his back to most of us. But I had a thought.

What about Emily?

Think about it, the sweet, innocent little angel who has befriended Charlie, maybe even fought on their side during the war, is killed for her desertation and insolence. I feel like there's a trope somewhere of the innocent sunshiny npc who leaves everything behind for the party (to use d&d terms) dying and it being the party's fault. Not only would this cause a lot of potential drama with heaven, it would be CRUSHING for Charlie. (I have more to say, but can't really say/word it, so.)

Just a thought.

Had a realization while mopping the kitchen,

Jotaro is all three of his parents child, because listen

Usagi:

He looks like a carbon copy of the guy and acts similarly to him, same drive, same temper, everyone points these two things out

Kenichi:

I like to make the cuck joke as much as anyone else but let's not forget that he and Jotaro have a real father-son relationship!!!! Jotaro calls him father and loves him like one!!! Kenichi knows Jotaro isn't his and his rival is his sire but doesn't care and loves and raises him anyway!!!! Also I'm pretty sure that Kenichi is always/mostly wearing purple in colored comic issues and what is Jotaro wearing???? Purple!!!!! The symbolism????? Because Usagi may be Jotaro's biodad but he is not the man that raised him, fed him, clothed him, Jotaro is wearing Kenichi's colors!!!! Because he is as much Kenichi's son as Usagi's!!!

Mariko:

obviously he has her ears and nose but also! May be grasping at straws but! His clothes have a pattern like she does and(correct me if I'm wrong) Kenichi doesn't! Kenichi's are plain with only the reigning Lord of the lands Mon and Mariko's and Jotaro's has a design! Similar in how they both love Kenichi but they also love Usagi! Jotaro wants a father-son relationship with Usagi but not at the cost of one with Kenichi! Mariko has affections for both Kenichi and Usagi but it's pretty obvious her feelings for Usagi run deeper than for Kenichi, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love him! Because for all that she loves Usagi, he didn't love her enough to stay and Kenichi did. Even though Kenichi had to leave the Dogora school in shame he still could've been a retainer to a lord like Usagi but instead he stayed! This man raised her child knowing damn well how he came to be and didn't care! Married her knowing she could never return his feelings with the same fervor!

Jotaro loves his parents and wants to respect all their wishes! This poor fucking kid...

djsjdjd Slither Wing Emmet doesn't understand pants. He hates them especially. Trying to argue about modesty doesn't work because of his fur, too. Poor guy has destroyed many, many pairs of pants you got for him.

Emmet hates this stupid human society and misses the days he could just take whatever he wanted and only had to worry about a battle to the death.

I see people bringing up Nishiki slapping Reina so fucking often and I'm so fucking tired of it.

Let's get this out of the way first: was it good of Nishiki to hit Reina? Should he have done it? OF FUCKING COURSE NOT. While violence is the answer to a not negligible amount of problems, here, it WASN'T.

HOWEVER.

People tend to act as though Reina was a poor uwu victim who didn't do anything wrong. So lemme explain the situation here:

1) Nishiki just saw someone he cares about A LOT get sexually assaulted or even raped.

2) Nishiki just brutally killed his boss because of an emotional / trauma reaction to witnessing said assault and was very shaken up by it, having collapsed to his knees when Kiryu arrives.

3) His brother just took the fall for it and will have to go to prison for a very long time.

4) Sawamura disappears from the hospital, leaving Nishiki with most of his support network gone in the blink of a fucking eye.

5) He goes to update Reina on the situation and she starts screaming at him, accusing him of being weak and useless, of failing her by not being able to protect Sawamura and Kiryu.

Great fucking reaction on her part, isn't it? He's just lost two of his siblings at once and she is telling him that it's his fault. Yes, Reina probably didn't mean it like that, but she still says it. And when Nishiki interrogates her on it, she doesn't retract it.

It's not helping that Nishiki's mental stability is already shot to shit because of various pressures, such as an important surgery for Yuko coming up, Kazama's clear favouritism, Kashiwagi's distance.

I reiterate: NISHIKI GETTING VIOLENT WAS BAD. HE SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT.

And he apparently does slap her quite hard. But he also immediately regrets it, looking at his hand with shock. As someone who not only has a lot more physical strength than Reina and is in organised crime and is thus the stronger party in the power imbalance, it was his responsibility to try and counteract the power imbalance by restraining himself. And he failed at that.

My point is that Reina said what I consider to be unforgivable things, even if she didn't mean them. And she knows this because when Nishiki confronts her, she is scared. She knows she fucked up. Yet she doesn't try to retract her accusations or to reformulate what she feels.

They're both horrible in this interaction and this is why I don't like them as a pairing. Reina clearly is way over her head in the Yakuza world. Which is perfectly fine, not everyone can deal with it, in fact I'd wager that most people can't, yet she both involves herself in it and is involved in it by others. And then she deals with being exposed to the dark sides of the yakuza world by toxically unleashing it, here on Nishiki.

Another thing I don't like is the "he hit a woman because she hurt his feelings he isn't an uwu baby". Oh, so it would have been fine if Reina had been a man? No it wouldn't have. Why bring gender into this? Either say that no one deserves to be hurt or say that everyone deserves to get slapped every once in a while.

Let all genders be slapped and let all genders slap. All or nothing, cmon.
