bartylus | 5/10 - theyre not very compelling to me, but theyre not bad by any means. i think they work better as friends but i understand why people ship them. i just prefer other ships personally, but ive read many great fics with them too!

However, with both of them dropping the project i am 100% certain the french CCs will not be returning and im 80% sure bad will not be returning either, which is very upsetting to me but theres nothing i can do about it so im just gonna suck it up and deal with it

At its core, the QSMP was a wonderful idea and a wonderful concept, the resources it's provided for the MC community (as far as live translations in and out of game) are revolutionary and i really hope that as more servers and projects are created these features will continue to develop

I am hoping the CCs continue to play with eachother outside of the QSMP, but im not 100% sure how that's gonna work out for them, i only joined the QSMP right before purgatory and i am a bbh main so im not sure what all is gonna happen or how theyre gonna proceed moving forward. I will say that the french have been a huge part of my enjoyment of the server and i will miss them severely. I dont know if ill be able to continue watching them outside the server (the in-twitch live translations arent very compatible with my computer and there are none for VODs) but i loved them dearly, and i am sending especially well wishes to Etoiles, he's having a very hard time rn and im keeping him in my heart

Redoing the Httyd Timeline and Ages post i made a while ago. Its all mostly accurate and the things not explicitly stated in canon i still stand by, but i found a couple other things to add in, and overall its a lil messy cause its from when first started making longer posts, so it could just do with an overhaul to clear it up a bit

Im trying to go through and make a Full AU list, with Name and a summary of what its about, so i can actually talk about em here, as well as sorting all other AUs out properly. These were all talked mostly via the Discord Server, so its literally sorting through whats gotta be hundreds of thousands of messages from over the course of >1 year. Which its great because ive deeply enjoyed talking to everyone ( Shout out to the Discord Buddies, Love yall, you're the Best🫶🫶) but my god, i should have kept on top of it lol.

This one i don't know if anyone else even really is interested in, but y'all are getting it eventually regardless, because ya know you can't stop me from making posts here, no matter how much yall may want to sometimes (Toothfull my beloved <3). Anyway the gist of this one is, idk if its just me, but a lotta times when i hear ages in a book, i understand it, but it doesn't really connect. So i like to go and find other characters and people that are the same age, especially in like movie or shows, where i can look at people that are the same age and go "Holy Shit, they're just babies" or such as the like as that if they're older (Mostly in Alvins case, that man is not as old as a lot of yall probably think he is, or maybe you don't, who am i to say what you do or do not think)

topaz quest was in... checks notes - *October* of prev year. also, neither "stonehearts" nor "cornerstones" were focus of that story,it was about her trying to enslave belobog. so no questions about space amazon doing slavery, i remembered THAT. there were no magical gems that give super powers there. if there was a throwaway line about them, i promise you most ppl are not gonna remember it after FIVE MONTHS

you cannot compare it to genshin, where in the very first archon quest we were told who fatui are, dealt with them even before signora, were explained who signora is by jean bc signora was pressuring her politically (matters bc gives pressure to main plot), then had signora appear on screen and steal venti's gnosis, which she right there in same scene mentioned as his divinity. the "harbringers want to steal gnosis" was very well dramatized in the first quest, so in liyue we already knew that childe will want to steal gnosis. you didn't need to remember any lore about tsaritsa or snezhnaya or delusions to get that. the main intrigue of the plot is "childe wants to get to morax corpse," why? to steal gnosis.

meanwhile, what was dramatized in hsr is that space amazon wants to enslave planets, which, again, we get it, not the "amazon execs have magical stones which give them super powers". when "stones" were brought up in penacony by ratio, it was in same convo as of "gift jewelry" being confiscated, so i personally thought its just bribes literally until the confrontation with christian ayato, when turned out its personal weapons. "aventurine wants to get his stones", why? - idk???? he's useless without moneys???

like when main intrigue of the plot "how will character get mcguffin back??", its vital for players to understand WHY character wants mcguffin

idk how to explain it in other words since i already said it in original reply, but most ppl dont read dictionaries for fun and "go read dictionary" is a very bad way to present information, both in artistic sense and in the sense that again, most ppl are not gonna do that. they have tutorials for a lot of useless stuff that 90% of ppl skip. this is not "could be smoother", this is "most ppl will just not know wtf is happening".

Okay, gonna give a tl;dr BRIEF OVERVIEW SNAPSHOT, with unfortunately not a lot of recs bc I have failed in actually reading in a significant capacity for her character 😭

Alysia was introduced as Babs’ roommate during Simone’s n52 Batgirl run (with which I’ve heard ymmv, have yet to read myself, tbh not looking forward to it, but it’s something that I’m determined to read for myself). From what I understand she’s set up as a civilian foil for Babs bc Alysia comes out to her as a trans woman (something something, superhero IDs are inherently queer something something). She’s shown up sporadically in bat-books since that time. Most notably in last year’s Pride issue iirc? (Nope looked it up, it was ‘22’s! I remember enjoying the story overall!) my first intro to her was actually in Bombshells (which is its own mixed bag, but was def formative for me Really Getting Into Comics & sticking with them) She was one of the bat-girls in it and just 😭😭😭💕💕💕 ahhh all of the batgirls were so CUTE THEIR LITTLE BASEBALL UNIFORMS GET ME!!!!

I’m very *marge potato meme* think she’s neat! & with most of the things I have seen with her, she’s very much written like most civilian friends to the batfam, which is nice in that she’s not like. Treated badly (FROM WHAT IVE READ, DONT @ ME OR SPOIL ME YALL IF SHE HAS BAD MOMENTS. LEMME READ IT FOR MYSELF) by being associated with the bats. It v much also depends on the writer obvsly, but I always appreciate when civilian characters just like… Friend Figures & give our heroes that sense of normalcy to balance out the Usual Hero Insanity.

We need more trans main characters in Gen too, but I appreciate her as one of those stepping stones in rep. God knows we didn’t have much in the way of trans characters even just 10-15yrs ago and it’s like… seeing how many more pop up over time it’s just!!!!!!!!!!

um long irl tickle story because i’m tweaking out rn 😀

so i’ve got this friend who is also not Just A Friend and it’s complicated LMFAO anyways, we’ve done kink play stuff before so we know everything each other is into. obviously this means they know i’m real big into tickling fjskjf (which no, is not purely sexual for me lol. neither of us are very sexual people, kink isn’t always abt sex and i think more people in this community need that to register in their brains LOL)

ANYWAYYS so i dont think they know Just how into it i am, like they dont even know abt this blog but im slowly working up the courage to tell them abt it bc i know they wouldnt be weirded out (im just shy LOL). so bc they dont rlly know how big of a thing this is for me, they’ve never Really tickled me before.

now, i’ve tickled them. plenty actually lol. it’s super fun and i love tickling them sosososo much bc they’re reactions are so cute and they’re really good at holding still lol. but anytime they’ve tickled me, it’s mainly just like a poke here or a squeeze there, nothing for real yknow.

which is like. it’s fine. but every time they do it i get skyrocketed into the biggest lee mood for like days on end and usually i get too embarrassed to tell them dhsjndjsg

but the other day i actually decided to tell them how much it affected me. we had both spent the night at a friends house, and at every sleepover when its time for bed, our other friend goes to her room and then its just the two of us alone in the living room. we were high the other night and cuddling, and they kept teasing me by making claw hands and wiggling their fingers at me (i’ve told them before it flusters me So Bad when they do it and now they’re just relentless with it 😭😭), they poked me a few times like usual but also kept quickly skittering their fingers on my foot which they’ve never done before and dhsjjdjdf i was too high i was losing my mind

so that was it, but the next day when i got home i texted them telling them they were so evil for that bc now im feeling crazy. they found that hilarious and teased me abt it for a minute 😭 so i thought that was the end of it bc they rarely tease me too much (im mainly the dom in our relationship so i can understand why lol)

but then. but then.

my friend group went hiking all day today, so when we got back to my friends house we were pretty beat. me and my friend were cuddling on the couch watching tv, but they just kept. poking. me. i felt crazy LMFAO

so ofc bc im me, i was tickling back! i’m more deliberate with my tickles, so i kept squeezing their side and poking places i know they’re ticklish at. they ofc kept making wiggly hands at me, but atp im like so lee and it’s not enough 😭

so. i called them a coward! (teasingly, ofc). i didn’t get specific cause our other friends were right there and id rather they not know abt it LMAO but this main friend knew what i was talking about. they were playing all offended, trying to defend themselves, but they kept not actually tickling me so ofc i kept calling them a coward hehehe

so later tonight once we were at our own houses, we text each other almost immediately. ofc because i was feeling super lee after all that i told them i was (playfully) mad at them for teasing me earlier

they started defending themself again saying they aren’t a coward, so i texted back with “always threatening but never actually does anything about it 🥱 coward behavior to me”

they texted back with “when i come over tmrrw its over. im gonna get you”

anyways yeah sorry i know this was long but this little back and forth on “will they ever actually tickle me” has been going on for almost a YEAR now so im justifiably freaking out abt it LMFAOO

i’m also taking my driving test for my license tmrrw before we hang out so let’s hope i don’t start thinking abt tickles and crash the car 👍
