Jason travels to an alternate universe where Bruce only cares about being Batman. He took in each of his kids to serve the mission, not be his children.

Now, faced with alternate versions of his family, Jason has to grapple with the fact that his Bruce does care, that he is his father. Because the man in front of him now, trying to send him home, isn’t even close.

#batman #jason todd #bruce wayne #redhood #batfam #batfamily #this bruce went one of two ways 1) running his kids into the ground and they’re basically unrecognizable to jason or 2) worked them so hard #they couldn’t take it and left the business entirely and he’s completely alone except the JL which doesn’t like him but he is necessary #sure crime is down but bruce’s crusade is just that an actual crusade because he treats his sons like soldiers and everything comes second #to the mission. i don’t even know if damian exists in this universe because the idea of bruce having romantic relationships is laughable #although here he might be more closely aligned to talia because they’re both mission oriented and having a legal heir for their literal #legacy might appeal to him idk. just that jason shows up and it’s like his brothers have military ranks instead of names. none of them have #real jobs or even friends because they eat sleep work live at the manor and would never leave the batcave if it weren’t for public #appearances. it’s insane to see dick without his personality or tim who really does act like a robot and not a person. i don’t know if steph #cass and duke would stick around for this (or alfred for that matter i’m 50/50)#but when jason does get back everyone is shocked that he sticks around the cave and manor for a couple weeks checking in on everyone and #making the effort to do things unrelated to mask business. he has to write a report about the incident and he struggles to even put into #words how wrong it felt. his arguments with bruce also skew slightly because he can’t claim bruce doesn’t care in general just that he #doesn’t care about him or express it enough or in the right way. a far cry from the usual spiel and bruce is concerned so they talk it out

Sims 2 has played Clinical Trial, it all went by the exact same beats

#Clinical Trial #Angel Martinez #Lee Smith #The Sims 2 #WPVG #WPTS2 #Okay so it wasn't Exact-exact but some of that was due to a global mod I have since removed #I had the No Instant Love mod installed because even for how cartoony TS2 is - and I love it for that! - Sims do fall in love Hella fast #Problem being that my version of the mod is glitched :P It does slow the rate of one Sim's relationship - as intended!#The other? Refuses to see them as anything more than a friend - ever #Oops aroace mod lol #Would be ideal if I could Control which Sims that effect was applied to! Alas - you'll never guess - it hit Lee #So Angel fell in love with him and he was stuck at ''Just Friends'' - even when I put his relationship to max with them #Like - Angel's LTR and STR were both lower than Lee's of them and /they/ were the only one in love of the two! Mod borken #So I removed it and the cartooniness is back lol - it did give me the opportunity to screengrab Lee falling in love all at once haha #Also have I mentioned that one Sims 2 piece of homie's and how it's wrong lol #The Sims 2's Family Aspiration is the one that pops engagement and marriage as green Wants most reliably #But the Romance Aspiration - which in equal parts will pop those as red Fears - was the asset shown #Fake fan points and laughs #Lol #Obvi I made Lee a Family Sim! Actually a Knowledge Sim with a Family secondary - specifically pointed at Angel haha #And I think I made Angel a Popularity Sim with a Family secondary? I never know whether to make Pleasure or Popularity Sims haha #It felt a little cruelly ironic to make Angel want friends and not have any ♥ I am nice to the characters I like haha #They're fully moved in and living with Lee it's always Week 8 Sunday around these parts it's fine #It was fun trying to translate Lee's house into a 3D space haha - the creepy hallway???? I changed its orientation #There's no longer a door directly to the master bathroom you have to go through the bedroom #Did include the murder basement tho :) Not as a basement tho sadly :( Sims 2 is bad with basements #Even using The Trick I couldn't get it to work with the garage as part of the main building so I was just like Fine #First story murder ''basement'' lol - and the stalker closet isn't behind a bookshelf But it is locked to Lee only #So it's fine! It's all Close Enough :) It's all for funsies ♪

i do volunteer work!! she was one of the first ever cats i was set to take care of, and while that entire group was very manageable (and thank god, cause i’ve never owned cats and i work alone, so this was all new to me), i ADORED her because of how affectionate and easy to handle she was. except for that one time on my second ever shift she escaped and i needed to ask an employee for help.

but i kept joking to dykobra that she was literally party as a cat. clingy. bonded to a sibling. would glare and meow nonstop if I didn’t take her out to play first. i don’t remember if the cat doodle came first, but eventually it became the silly ginger cat i draw now. she got adopted a few months ago and her owners surely have no idea the weird au she’s created

#it’s so hot the ac is getting installed tomorrow #also the cockroaches 🥲 they’ve been tiny so far but #knock on wood #they keep coming up through the drain if anyone has tips on how to deal with them #i would appreciate it 😭#i have so much work for school to do now #like 6 orientation classes of work and now i finally got my syllabus and stuff #so i need to read over that #3/4 scenes done for heliotropes so this one should be on time but after this i’m likely going to switch to monthly updates bc i won’t be #able to keep up every other week with law school

#saltposting #the ¯¯ eyes is because i am so sleepy. had to wake up earlier than our usual for this and just #gloaurgh #woshing mochine is worth it but i am experiencing digestive discomfort due to Awoken Too Early #looking forward to A Nap #shoutout to our landlady for being Very Fast with this. machine broke last week we already have a new one #did/will not have to miss a laundry day which our routine-oriented autisms appreciate #also the new machine is like approximately three times quieter than the old one which is SO NICE because our machine is in the #kitchen / living room (open concept) and we literally had to time our washs away from meals before. it was so bad #this? is livable #so all in all a good start to today i think

the hardest part about long term goal setting is that what i care about is so prone to change

the important stuff is easy but the things that are just fun or interesting come and go, but then if I'm too unstructured in my scheduling i won't do anything at all

so is it better to just make more work for myself overhauling the schedule every time my interests change or is it worth trying to find something that i truly believe i will stick to?

#tried to schedule in a couple days a week to work on korean and tbh i just don't feel like it #so why bother #i go through a few months at a time of active study and then lose interest lol #i do feel like those couple days i should have non career oriented goal directed activity #but i have no idea what
