species: Scozien

about: Scozien are known for living in warmer temperatures, as their planet, Scozai, is closer to the sun than Terra (or Earth, for the humans out there). They're very social (it's very rare for any Scozien to live alone, usually two to a household. there are rare cases, though, usually orphaned children) and are quite similar to humans in build.

defining characteristics:

tails: Scozien are able to hide many of their features, but their tails are not one of them. when taking missions on Terra, they tend to wear baggy pants and hide tails in there. their tails are filled with a pretty strong paralytic and have a locking mechanism, where the tail will curl around a opponent and clasp in place. it's unable to move until the owner unlocks it. tails also wrap around people they feel safe with, used to show affection.

scales: able to retract into skin, which allows them to pass for a human pretty well. their skin does feel a bit weird to the touch when scales are retracted. Scales can be used as a minor barrier from blows, but they're pretty weak. Original use was speculated to be protection from the sun and a way to reflect light away from them. Retracting scales helps them stay warmer, as scales naturally run cool outside of their body.

claws: can also be retracted, able to dig deep into flesh.

teeth: usually stay retracted in gums, as there's a very real chance that they can cut into the lower lip of Scozien. they tended to be used for killing blows, but now are more for intimidation when uncomfortable. they pair it with a clicking growl.

eyes: eyes are slitted like a... a cat's? who came up with that analogy? whatever, like a cat's eyes. they also tend to glow in the dark. most colors correlate to the eye color, except brown, which glows a yellow color.

language: they communicate in a mix of clicks and hums, able to speak other languages at the same time as they speak Scozien. it's called layering, apparently, and they learn human and other spoken languages like that.

This is gonna be a bit of a wild card question, buckle up:

So you know how the Lego shows are based around specific concepts/aesthetics (Ninjago is elements and... well ninjas, Nexo Knights is medieval fantasy mixed with tech, Chima is furries animals, LMK is Journey to the West)

If YOU could make a Lego franchise/series, what would it be based around?

That’s actually a REALLY interesting question! There have been lots of L.ego themes in the past based around all types of things, and I think the first thing to decide when making my own is wether it would be ‘original’ like the ones you listed above, or if it would be based on an existing story or franchise like S.tar W.ars or L0TR and name a few of the more popular ones. 

For a non original theme I think it could be fun to make some Arthurian sets. Lego has done a lot of knight themes in the past from N.exo K.nights to L.ego Castle and L.ego Kingdoms, but I think it would be fun to specifically draw upon the legends and characters from various King Arthur myths. There have been ideas pitched for a round table set I believe, but I think it would be fun to get a few more sets than that, like the chapel of the grail and even a bunch of sets that make the kingdom of Camelot when combined. Heck you could probably even do something cool with the Green Knight as one of those mech character builds. Now the mini figs would probably be the most interesting part honestly because of how many really neat characters you could have, from Arthur himself to knights like Lancelot and Mordred, but I still think you could get some cool sets out of it.

Now as for an original theme, I originally considered making an ocean theme of some sort. L.ego has had quite a few ocean themes in the past and while none of them really stuck, I do think there was some potential there. Then I started thinking about space and honestly? I think if I could make a theme it would be a cool space theme. L.ego has a few of those as well like Galaxy Squad, but most of their stuff sticks to a harder sci-fi theme. What I would like to do is something softer and almost fantasy feeling, like the Never Ending Story but like. Space themed. I have a soft spot for things like that and idk, I feel like it would be fun and unique.

Hey guys I know we are all sick and tired of remakes, but I am cursed with the knowledge of how they could reboot Miss Congeniality to be absolutely sick.

we open on the FBI. As in the original, we have a woman who is not traditionally feminine putting up with a lot of bullshit from her male colleagues. There is one colleague who thinks he is smooth shit, always hitting on different women, very much like the OG love interest from the OG movie.

the threat comes in. Its believed to be due to the increase in christofascist bullshit. The threat is against a drag pageant. You see where this is going

our smarmy asshole agent gets roped into being taught to be a drag queen. Along the way, he learns to be a more secure man.

there is a bunch of shenanigans and hijinks, idk I feel like it could be cute. The twist is that one of the Queens is actually involved in one of those stupid as fuck Drag Queens for Tr*mp orgs.

once again Idk i just want to see the makeover scene from the first movie but with a drag reveal.

-headcanon that when was Kaz was nine years old or so he traveled to Mandalore where his father was sent as a representative of the New Republic

-one day he accidentally stumbles upon Grogu,the son of the Mand'alor himself, levitating some fish of a nearby pond

-obviously Kazuda is amazed and curious so before he can think much about it, he walks towards him and starts asking a million questions at a time while Grogu only coos and nods ocasionally

-they somehow understand each other perfectly and become inseparable until the day that Kazuda has to leave

- the literal definition of double trouble, their parents never know what is coming when those two are together

- Grogu throws an epic tantrum on Kaz's last day and won't stop until the Mand'alor approaches little Kaz and promises that he is welcome to stay in Mandalore any time he wants to

- Kaz visits every summer or so and he also exchanges messages with Grogu until he gets into the academy

- they write each other less and less as the years pass since each has a lot going on with their lives but they always remember the other and their mischiefs fondly

- after everything goes down at the colossus,his spy cover is blown and they are on the run from the first order Kaz tells his friends stories of his time in Hosnian Prime and the academy

- no one ever believes him when he tells them how he is a friend of the Mand' alor and his son

"right" says Hype "next you'll tell me you know General Organa herself"

- at the battle of Exegol Grogu is there with his father when he senses through the force a familiar presence that he hasn't felt in years ... it can't be can it ?? IT'S KAZ !!! what is he doing here ??

-Grogu reaches through the force and tries to get to Kaz but finds that he is shut down almost completely

- Kaz is at Exegol with the aces when he feels something strange ... a wave of warm and comfort is now surrounding him and he thinks he can hear a voice in his head saying his name softly

- of all places why did he have to start going mad at the battle of exegol ??

- when the lightning strikes and shuts down all the ships,Kaz feels an unbearable pain go through his arm all the way to his back and next thing he knows he is passing out

- now Kaz has never believed in the force even though he knew Grogu and saw what he could do, he just couldn't believe in anything after the Hosnian cataclysm

-but as his ship falls to the ground he can't help but think that he wants the force to be real, he doesn't want to end in nothing

- his last thought before blacking out is "please let me be one with the force so i can see the people i love again"

- Grogu is overwhelmed by all the screams, all the fear he can sense as the ships fall, his own father is struggling to regain control of himself and the Razor Crest 2.0 but they manage to pull through

- suddenly Grogu hears a very clear and distinct voice saying "please let me be one with the force"

-IT'S KAZ !!!

- WAKE UP KAZ NOW !!!! he screams through the force , he can see his ship falling to the ground , he can feel that his friend is unconscious

- Kaz feels a massive shock move through his entire body, is this what dying feels like ?

-and then he realizes he feels the exact opposite of dead, he feels very much alive and there is this voice inside his head screaming "KAZ PULL YOUR SHIP UP NOW"

-so he does and then he is up and getting the hell out of Exegol wondering why that voice sounded so familiar

- at the celebrations that take place after the battle Grogu asks his father if he can help him locate his old friend Kazuda Xiono

- they find he has been transported to a designated medical area where he is being treated for his burns so they go there

- Kazuda Xiono ? Din asks to a young man with black hair that can't be more than twenty, definitely not the mischievous kid he remembered

-"yeah, that's me" he says absentmindedly until he turns and then his eyes open wide "Mand'alor ?!?! i mean sir ??! i mean what are you doing here ?? are you okay ??! GROGU?!?! is that you ?!?!

- "easy kid, we came when we heard the distress call and then Grogu spotted you" says Din

- and then i saw you fall and pass out and tried to help you Kaz !! says Grogu

- you can talk now Grogu ?!? Kaz is so happy and confused and tired from the battle but he is so happy to see his old friend

- yeah, i also talked to you earlier !! i told you to wake up

- that was you ???? so i am not crazy ?!?! but how ?!?! asks Kaz already having another million questions on his head

- the force works in mysterious ways Kaz, you did not want to believe before, but then i felt you open yourself to it and i was able to get to you in time explains Grogu

- Kaz is too stunned to even speak he doesn't know what to believe anymore but he is glad that he is alive

- " Grogu, i don't know how to thank you !! i am really sorry we grew apart these past few years there was so much going on and..

- "Its okay Kaz,i had my fair share of things to deal with too... "

- "well now there is plenty of time for us to catch up" Kaz says with a smile as he begins to tell of all his adventures in the colossus

- and that is how Kazuda Xiono reconnects with his oldest friend Grogu

The funniest thing in the world to me is when people write mermaids that are bothered by humans eating fish. Like do you think fish don’t eat each other? The ocean is full of little freaks that will eat whatever or whoever the fuck will fit in their mouths. If the mermaids haven’t been eating fish this whole time what do you think they’ve been eating?
