Axl invited you to his house party, which was a little odd, but not super unusual. you were one of Steven's closest friends, you'd been supporting him since the beginning. everyone in the band knew you steven wouldn't shut up about you , or at the very least was familiar with your name.

so... it made sense. though, you were starting to regret your decision as you watched duff and slash take what had to be their 10th round of shots. you eyed everyone at the party as you sipped your drink. there were girls you'd seen backstage before, either girlfriends or groupies, and plenty of people you'd never met before. izzy was absolutely nowhere to be found, he probably left actually, and you condemned yourself for not doing the same.

you made your way over to steven, a little beacon of light in the dim party. the only saving grace to this party. his curls bouncing as he chatted away animatedly to a guest.

axl stepped in front of you, blocking your path slightly, "You liking the party?" he asked, grinning at you.

you shrugged, "It's kind of loud... a little overwhelming." you admitted a little shyly.

he leaned against the wall, brushing some of your hair back, "well... if you want, i could take you somewhere quieter." his tone told you everything you needed to know.

"I think-..."

you were interrupted by steven's slurred voice, "absolutely fucking not....?!" he shot axl a betrayed look and pushed him back a bit.

jesus... it all happened so fast, they both were already pretty buzzed. steven took a swing and hit the wall, and axl caught him in a headlock. it was like watching two toddlers fighting over something they both wanted.

"alright, alright. Knock it off." IZZY! (huh, so he hadn't left...? it all made sense once you saw the girl hanging on his arm) Thank god. he seemed to knock some sense into the two, who hesitantly stopped fighting.

axl stormed off to god knows where, leaving steven with a furrowed brow.

"Are you alright, Stevie?" you cooed, gently, "Your hand's bleeding...if you hadn't noticed..."

he looked down at his hand, it was scraped up pretty good, red and tender as blood dribbled onto his fingers and wrist, "oh..." he said quietly, "i'll be ok..."

"here... let's go see if there's a first aid kit around here." you led him to the bathroom, which was surprisingly unoccupied, and sat him down on the edge of the bathtub.

you rummaged around the cabinets for a bit, before pulling out a small first aid kit. you looked around for a rubbing alcohol wipe.

"I don't like the way he looked at you." he murmured under his breath, "he was bein' all weird with you."

"Doesn't mean you should try to punch him for it." you countered as you ripped open the wipe.

"he just wants to fuck around. he doesn't even love you." Steven babbled, hissing a bit as you cleaned his knuckles.

"sorry." you whispered sincerely, grabbing the bandage wrappings.

"But I do. I love you a lot." he sighed, a bit sadly, "A little too much maybe..."

you paused, caught completely off guard, "You...You what...?"

"Oops... I uh..." he couldn't really find an excuse, even if he hadn't been drunk, you can't really come back from that.

you couldn't help but feel a little giddy and laugh. his face turned a deep shade of red, and he was worried for a second until you started to pepper his face in kisses. you smoothed his hair out and kissed him on the lips, cupping his cheeks.

you pulled away after a moment, earning a pout from him, "Hey...."

"You're getting blood on your sleeves... just let me finish patching you up..." you grumbled, a light pink dusting your face. he honestly didn't mind the blood. he was the happiest person at the party, scratch that, in the whole goddamn world. but he let you dress his knuckles, just so you were satisfied.

"so does this mean-...?" he started.

I'm excited! I'll actually be completely honest, I seriously didn't think that we were going to get any media about Haymitch's games since we already went over the events in 'Catching Fire.' I would like to apologize to the prophets, clearly I was wrong. Sorry for silently judging your requests by thinking y'all missed the point, I'm sittin' down now.

So, tackling POV first, I personally think it's definitely possible that we're working with a multiple POV situation due to the fact we did already go over the events of the Games in CF. Or, if not multiple POVs, I actually think it'll be retrospective.

Remember how Katniss and Peeta end 'Mockingjay' by creating the book of memories? I think it's possible that Sunrise is meant to be Haymitch looking back on his Games. How he survived, maybe who he mentored after. Honestly, this is what I'm hoping for because I admittedly am a desperate whore for canon post-Mockingjay material. (Please, Suzanne. Just a crumb. A CRUMB!!)

I think we're done with Snow's POV. I may be wrong on that, but I'm admittedly hopeful on it. 😭

LISTENNNN I liked Ballad and I think it was WONDERFUL writing, but Jesus fucking Christ was I happy to be away from Snow by the time it was over. He was an asshole, that was the point, I respect it and love it as media but reading it was/is hard, and honestly? That's praise. But besides personal preference, there's also just a straight 'The End' at the end of Ballad. Maybe that's subject to change, but with Suzanne's masochistic level of detail? Probably not. Or maybe I'm stupid and will eat this post in nine months, find out soon!

ANYWAYS. I so want to see Mrs. & Mr. Everdeen in this, as well as Peeta's parents. Give me their fucking names, Suzie. NAMES.

Haymitch's girlfriend is probably gonna be my favorite character. Imma be honest. I know nothing of her, nada, zip, zilch. But I can sense it in the air. There will be kinship, and I will kill myself when she dies.

(Suzanne, please don't make me eat that last statement.)

Romance aspect? Yes. Between Haymitch, his girl, and the Everdeens? Plus if we get Peeta's parents? I think one of the main points of The Hunger Games is love and the different ways it exists, so I think there will 100% be romance.

Hell, maybe Suzanne will throw us a curveball and the POV will be one of Everlarks parents. If so, probably Mrs. Everdeen as that'll give us insight to the merchant part of District 12, Madge's family and what it was like to be of Reaping age in the thick of Snow's reign.

I want Mr. Everdeen confirmed as Covey. This is a demand. I have hostages. (My lawyer wants me to clarify I don't.)

Now, in terms of the books real world meaning, I'm interested to see. I think the safest guess is 100% a commentary on Palestine, Congo, etc. But I am interested to see what else there is to say.

Personally, I think there really is a possibility this book will be centered around healing. Especially if this is Haymitch looking back at his life, it could offer commentary on his recovery from his Games, the war, as well as everyone else's. This perspective is 100% the one I would love to see the most, but we all know imma be a fiend for whatever happens.

And to wrap this up, fancasting? Stanley Tucci. If Caeser comes back and he doesn't, I have fucking hostages. (Again, I don't.)

Imma be honest, to add to your question, yes young Haymitch is supposed to be hot, but I want him to be a kid. I want a teenager cast and I want him to obviously look like a teenager, even if he is handsome. I think that's an important point of the Games people miss.

Writing things you want to takes trial and error. Just try and how others your writing and if it is fetishy someone will tell you. That's why lots of fanfic writers like when people comment and tell them what they liked or think need to be changed.

years and years and years until satoru called you up, saying that you and kento should go out.  and you couldn’t describe how you felt.  apprehension, sure.  doubt, of course.  excitement… why?

kento had cut himself off after haibara’s death, went off on his own after graduation, swearing off the life of a sorcerer.  you’d accepted that.  everyone had.  but to reappear as a prospect for satoru to play matchmaker was just something so out of the blue and baffling.

you had agreed to satoru’s somewhat blind date out of curiousity, not expecting to be so taken by the way kento had matured.  his time spent outside sorcery had helped in grow in a lot of ways that staying trapped in it would hinder.  you admired him… maybe you were also jealous.

you’re silent, but content, as you lay in bed with him one night, remembering the first time you’d been intimate.  he’d kissed every single scar on your body, leaving no cell untouched.

“seven years,” you whisper out loud, not even meaning to.

“huh?”  he looks over at you from reading his book.

“seven years till all the cells on my body are new.”

i have a quick pandemonium question. absolutely zero pressure to answer because i know a lot of authors (me included lmao) like to keep this secret to add to The Experience, but i was wondering — if you are comfortable — if you’d be willing to reveal whether or not jegulus is safe from the mcd tag? i saw the mcd accompanied by the “angst with a happy ending” tag and jegulus as the main pairing, and i know angst with a happy ending can mean different things to different people, so i was curious whether or not them staying alive/together contributed to it.

(your assumptions towards SP / how you view SP) + (your assumptions of them towards you / how you think SP views  you) = manifestation

right so i want you to write down all the assumptions you have towards your SP (doesn’t matter if they are negative rn, we will change them)

so these can include:

oh- oh bud, you've opened a can of worms here.

first, his ego. i dunno how it was accomplished, but somehow he comes off as charming more than anyone else. he boasts about how great his own work is, and instead of being repulsed or rolling my eyes (which is usually what happens when i run across egotistical characters) i am thinking to myself, 'yeah! praise your own work! you deserve it!' dude's got an ego the size of a planet, and it's hilarious.

secondly, his earnestness. he wants more than anything else, to pull of a successful story and receive adoration from an audience. if you mess around in the expo long enough he'll talk about how he has so many things he wants to show 'you' (interpretation is in the air on whether or not he's talking to stanley, or us. or both?) he wants this story of his to work so bad, and at his more tender moments (like the memory zone pre... horrors... he genuinely wants to make his audience happy. and speaking of tenderness-

third, that secret hidden side of him. now, this is open to interpretation more than anything else, but there are moments- very small and easily missable moments- that proves this guy has a heart of some kind. when he talks about being happy during the zending, him letting us into an area- THAT HE HID FROM THE DEVELOPERS!!!!!- the fucking french song about the memory zone?????? there is something honest to god tender in him that makes me go feral. i always wonder how he'd operate as a friend to someone outside the context of the parable, which is one of the focus points of the longfic of mine.

fourth, his voice. Kevan Brighting really knocked the performance out of the park, and his range is undeniable. they found a VA who can be sweet, manipulative, malicious, and snarky without overdoing it. he has the range, darling. and uh- y'know,,, i've always loved someone who can rock a nice baritone. goddamn. zoo wee, his voice is lovely, and i could listen to it all day. not everyone liked ultra deluxe for one reason or another, but i was just overjoyed to get more dialogue from him. i think there's two, maybe three hours of extra content, and oooooogh, it really filled a need.

fifth, his snark and sarcasm. i could talk at length all day about this aspect of him. he's so goddamn funny. the way he repeatedly roasts us is fantastic, and driving him off script again and again is a never ending source of entertainment for someone who tends to overreact to characters getting 'burned'. you should have seen me the first time i read pride and prejudice, there are some delicious moments of snark that i used to shout about.

sixth, he's a fucking dork with a poor understanding of humanity. from the uranium line in the demo to the guitar song when you fall out of a window, this dude is a dramatic dork, and i love him for it. this goes hand in hand with his people pleasing tendencies, and i just wanna hug him so bad.

seventh, his relatability. i write a lot, and some struggles are universal among writers. his desire for praise, his frustrations when a script doesn't go to plan, and at the end of the figurine ending, when he talks about his need for companionship and loneliness? as someone who doesn't socialize IRL that often, and who has used fictional characters as both a means of escape and as company during rough times in my life, i've never felt a click that strong with a character before. i felt like i understood him so well in that moment.

eighth, (8!) i just empathize with him so much. the poor bastard is stuck in an eternal loop, doomed by the narrative that he himself constructed. this dude desires freedom so much but can never quite have it due to the structure of his story and his own flaws of being unable to let go- (both his story and negative feedback)- he's an utterly tragic character which is why my fic focuses on giving him an actual happy ending.

anyway, there's eight reasons for you. give me a few hours and i'm sure i could come up with eight more.

someone needs to give this dude a blanket and a hot drink. he's been through too much. and truth be told, besides his overly antagonistic side which crops up in a few endings, i don't think there's a single aspect of him i don't like. i dunno man, i'm pretty soft hearted, and there are days i just want to give him a hug and say, 'you are so loved, you have no idea. you have millions of fans, and i'm one of your biggest'

UEFA High by maxevader / @liverpool-enjoyer (i feel like anyone who hasn’t read this is living under a rock sekskjdbd but i gotta mention it anyway cause i adore it) it’s a high school au, literally EVERYONE is in it. well not everyone but,,, a lot. theres a load of different ships (i came for müllendowski ofc but im kinda pulling for alisson/vvd rn they’re really cute i’m rooting for them) and some really sweet friendships too (thomas & manu, robbo & trent, gavi & pedri are my favourites) honestly i don’t wanna spoil it just go in blind if u haven’t read it already cause it’s so so worth it, it’s so funny and so sweet and also very relatable and ughhhhh man i could talk abt it forever

while we’re at it i want to be loved (not to be touched) (also by maxevader) is also really fucking good, it’s gavi-centric, very angsty, SO well-written, the stars aligned or some shit and i read it at exactly the right moment in my life and it made me cry a bit (a lot)

how long could we be a sad song? by moonwedes / @tchouameninga, it’s a suuuuper super angsty müllendowski fic about lewy’s decision to leave bayern and what led up to it. the writing is incredible n it made me so fucking sad. i cannot recommend this one enough it is SO good, just. man the characterisation and the little details and how inevitable and tragic it feels,,, ughhh it’s amazing

Another Plane of Shambles by fipsareyougay,,, again i kinda feel like anyone who likes my fics has probably read this already cause it’s like. THE bayern/german nt fic lmao sorry. but i gotta mention it anyway cause it’s one of my favourite fics ever. it’s like 600k words and kinda intimidating to get into cause theres like a million characters and ships and subplots but it is so. so fucking good. off the top of my head the main ships are neuller, mesut/sami, schweinski, götzeus, toni/jonas hector (random ahh ship but it works lmao), leno/ter stegen, but there’s like 183737 other ships too. it’s hilarious but also like,, really really sad. like EVERYONE is going through it, it gets quite dark sometimes. also it’s not finished lmao like i don’t think it’s been updated for like a year at this point, but.. i honestly don’t think it matters?? like it’s so fucking good as it is i fr don’t mind if its not updated, whats there is enough (for me at least). its SUCH an experience i love it so much and i will recommend it to literally everyone, whether ur a german nt fan or not

domestic pressures by fivesecrets is also really REALLY fuckin good. the main ship is lewy/b**teng, which… yeah it’s not a ship i like for… obvious reasons lol but this fic is so well-written that i just can’t not include it. id actually feel bad if i didnt include it cause the writing is so SO fucking good,, i don’t think i’ve read any of this author’s other fics now that i think of it, but i really should. i feel so inadequate every time i think about this fic cause the writing is just that good. like,, the prose. if i ever write something as beautifully as this its all over for u bitches. it also has bravertz as a background ship which i LOVE. (SIDE NOTE DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY MORE BRAVERTZ RECS PLS I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER 👉👈)

one of my all-time favourite fics is Lunar by Redbull_gave_me_wings. (this is the fic that made me finally decide to start properly writing n posting instead of just writing random paragraphs in my notes app. so i’ll love it forever for that reason alone) i don’t rlly know how to explain this one lmao it’s kinda complicated, it’s… basically a werewolf au?? which seems really random for a football fic lmao but it works. i adore this fic. just,, the characterisation and the world-building and the memories i have of reading it (spring 2022 when i was supposed to be studying for my leaving cert lmao) and the relationship between the 3 main characters (thomas, lewy and marco, müllendowski are an established relationship and theres also kinda hints of götzeus if you squint??) i just love the story, all the side characters, the world and the lore,,,, dldkdkdj i need to reread it omg

the next one is UNFINISHED 😭 but i want to include it just cause i love it so much: welcome to the underworld by bibliophile357. another one that i rlly don’t know how to explain lmao. it’s basically a greek mythology au w müllendowski as the main ship, lewy is hades and thomas is persephone. there’s also a few other ships, i think seriker is kinda the biggest secondary one tho?? (i might be wrong lmao i read it aaages ago. like before i even had an ao3 account i think 😭) the greatest (greek) tragedy of them all is that this fic was never finished. like i got to the last chapter and was genuinely heartbroken that there was no ending cause the writing and the development of the main ship was so beautiful. i don’t think it ever will be finished either bc it hasn’t been updated since 2017 lmao but still it’s one of my favourite fics

Whenever people on YouTube talk about Affirm and persist I literally roll my eyes so hard.

They talk about how they learn from Neville and his stories/teachings but bruh every single one of his stories even the first about Barbados, was him ASSUMING and persisting. Anytime I see a law of assumption person say affirm and affirm, it convinces me that they read Neville but they didn't understand him/his teachings at all.

Neville was a states man, he literally learned it from the original states man Abdullah(if you don't get what I mean, he told Neville, "you ARE in Barbados," because Neville didn't feel like he was in Barbados. His entire teachings isn't dedicated to affirming and persisting like Scammy and other people like her want you to believe.

It pisses me off whenever someone attacks states people for being states people. That's the entirety of Neville's teachings, anything else like "affirm and persist," is not it.

Also I don't think people realize how easy it can be to affirm from a state of lack. Everything you say or think is either felt with relief/conviction or lack.

It's like crying about not having something and affirming you have it anyway, you don't need to say you don't have it while affirm because you damn well feel like you don't. You're not stupid and everytime I see someone saying affirming with lack doesn't exist, I'm like "do you think your mind/body is THAT stupid?????" You know yourself more than anything and I know damn well you know you're in a state of lack, NO MATTER how much these people wanna say stuff like "affirming from a state of lack doesn't exist," then why the hell don't you feel like you have what you want yet?? Then why don't you feel like you're completely fulfilled??

Whenever you have a thought it's common sense that a feeling comes with that thought, so whenever you say something like "I need money so badly," there's a feeling of yearning. A good example is you can affirm 10k times a day and then you think to yourself "do I need to affirm more? Should I affirm for 15k?," Or if you affirm 4 sentences less, there's a thought of "it's not gonna work now that I didn't affirm enough." Law of assumption isn't supposed to be tiring BRUH, it's supposed to be easy, and all of these people are making it so hard for themselves.

If you have a thought your immediate feeling/STATE should be relief or just a normal feeling of being. You already have what you want right?? What's the point of feeling anything but that, what's the point of constantly affirming if you are supposed to already have it???

exactly! sadly it's gotten to a point now where (on loatwt) we say that states is what neville taught and the people who preach affirm&persist are like "fuck neville why do u worship a dead white man" and it's like ???? first of all, incredibly disrespectful considering if neville didn't spend his life teaching the law and writing books and testing it out for himself, pretty much none of them would know about the law. and it's even richer knowing that the thing THEY preach (dominant thoughts manifest) was made up by a random white bitch who hasn't had one credible success story. and tbh most of them hate her, yet they still preach her word like it's gospel. it's so frustrating & hypocritical.

i think it's cuz we say your subconscious is blind that people think it can't tell if you're affirming from lack, but that doesn't make any sense? your subconscious is blind which means it can't see your 3D. but your subconscious doesnt need eyes to know what state you're in.
