I really would like to make a zine ala collaborative fandom fanzines about 1 specific idea/character except if I made a post for it it would get 3 notes and no one would see it but also more importantly when I look at previous TMA (and fandom zines in general i see LOL) zines they all seem so....serious.......idk there's like artist applications and "art standards" they want and all of that and previous zine experience preferred like holy shit I think that is more a digital magazine at that point and not what I'd refer to as a 'zine'. I just want to collectively have 1 cool TMA theme and join together with lots of people to make art pieces related to that idea and we can all go YIPPEEE and have a PDF of them all together or something. And also I can't do it because I've never even participated in a zine and have no idea what it's like to organize but from what I've seen of others it seems very #serious....

Gotta admit, not a fan of Loki x Mobius. But Mobius does make a beautiful caretaker. So prompt: Hurt Loki L1130, with Mobius to the rescue. Perhaps after President Loki has his fun with our Loki in one of those beautiful drabbles you did; Mobius could find him and help him recover?

Ah, that's cool, not everyone is, haha! I find them very interesting together - separately too, if I'm honest - and thus easy to write for. I agree that Mobius is a great caretaker type no matter what though! ^_^

While this has the specificity of a request, it does relate to this prompt from before and I like it and you and find it interesting so I'm gonna play...

((Post-Whump Hurt/Comfort and Loki Spoilers))

He wakes in the same, searing, pain he’d blacked out in...Wheezing through cracked ribs, knees scraped to bleeding and muscles twitching in the raw ache of a body used by a pack of hungry wolves. Where were your ears just now, Loki, that you could not hear yourself?

“Loki?!” A voice calls from somewhere beyond. 

“Mmm...” His throat is too raw, mouth too sore, to do more than mutter and pray. Pray the man might find him, pray the man will not.

Mobius grabs spare pipe littering the ground as the stench of blood and chaos fill the air. “Loki?” His voice is softer this time, wary and comforting both.

“Mmm...” It’s an attempt at a name Loki hasn’t the energy to force past busted lips.

Mobius finds the nude, bloodied, heap of his friend under a pinball machine. “Jesus.” He scrambles over, kneels beside him. “Loki, Loki, can you hear me?” Jacket is shrugged off to cover the god. 

Loki winces, moans, as even that triggers pain.

“Open your eyes,” The agent keeps words gentle, encouraging, as he scans room for threats. “Can you do that for me, open your eyes?” When the god does, in fact, open his eyes Mobius smiles wide and soft. “There you go, good...”

“O-Othersss...” Pain causes speech to turn to hiss.

“Got it covered,” the man assures as he shifts, uses all his strength, to help the god sit, then stand, up. “Here, just...” Gods were heavier than he even expected. “Lean on me.” But that didn’t mean he’d give up; Mobius was many things, but never a quitter.

As Loki prepares to warn once again he hears a cackle that nearly drops him to the floor.

“You’re not a Loki.” The president notes, amused at the man attempting to help his new pet escape.

Mobius grimaces under Loki’s weight, but holds firm with help of the pinball machine. “No...But the alligator is.”

President Loki’s confidence breaks into confusion. “What alligator?” As if in answer the reptile leaps from nearby shadows and clamps onto the president’s hand.

As the bowling alley devolves into Loki-on-Loki violence, the agent persists in his attempts to drag his Loki from danger...but is, admittedly, greatly relieved when an elder Loki offers help in transporting his injured self to safety.

((Now I’m sure this can also be written as just Mobius caring for Loki once they’re already in a safe space, but I wanted to keep it more general and also my brain may be melting from the godawful heat and humidity I’m currently experiencing, LOL!! Anyway...I hope you like what I did come up with, @lost-in-labradorite-halls and whoever else might read this, lol!!))

Ok, I had to do a deep dive to find the right posts because I’m an idiot and didn’t tag my reblogs properly.  

Been working a bit on the Inuparents chapter for Your Lying Smile which was inspired by the picture posts | 1 | 2 | by @heavenin--hell. I had a vague explanation for how they met earlier in the story, but you’re going to get a fleshed out “side story” chapter as well!  Hooray!  Runs off to go write more of it because it’s hardly done.

Teaser:

“Oh ho!  Even prettier than they said!  That don’t happen too often.”  The growling voice did nothing to improve the overall demeanor of the youkai nearly salivating over her.  His grip on her wrist was tight and she could not wiggle free. Hands the size of spades and arms to support them, he was no pushover. Izayoi was glad she hadn’t irritated him yet, because she had a feeling her bones would have snapped like kindling under that kind of pressure.

“Don’t manhandle the product, you idiot!  You know the lordsss don’t like damaged goodsss.”  Izayoi couldn’t imagine a more slithery sounding voice and it was appropriate for the snake youkai, staring at her with his tongue flicking out to smell the air.  “She’ll get usss a good tip, no matter what they choose to do with her.”

“Always better when they bed them,” her captor said with a shrug, letting her arm drop.  “This one might be mating material if she weren’t human.”

“Just give her the masssk and the damn dresss. We have othersss to deal with.” He spun around, slithering out of the room while the other one tossed a gown and a face mask on the futon.  Izayoi scowled after them, flinching when the door slammed shut and the lock slid into place.  So much for overpowering her captor.

The gown was deep pink in color, beautiful, but much less modest in cut than she would typically wear.  Nose wrinkling in disgust, she set it aside to study the mask.  It was only meant to cover the upper half of her face, holes for her to see through and delicately painted markings along the forehead and temples.  The odd part was the little rabbit-like ears that stood at attention at the front.  It was sweet, in a way.  Were the circumstances completely different, she would be excited to wear it.

Knowing the consequences were grim for her if she chose not to change into the clothing provided for her, Izayoi slipped out of her borrowed dress and into the new one.  It fit perfectly, much to her irritation, which meant it was more revealing in the bosom and there was no give in the fabric to cover herself more. “Disgusting. No proper lady in her right mind would wear this…”  But she supposed that was the point.  She was being presented on a platter to whomever these lords were and she was meant to look as appealing as possible. “Damn,” she muttered.  Another less than proper thing to do, but in that moment, she didn’t care.

so I’m feeling like making a social media post about things 

you know what really annoys me

1. When people get off the train or platform and just, stand in the center of the exit looking around 

2. When people try to cut in front of everyone to get on the train 

3. When people are... fake laughing or screeching like a) nothing is that fucking funny b) if some rando can tell your laughter is fake then it’s REALLY fake 

4. When swedish girls say “ba” och sen hon ba, och han ba,

5. When swedish boys and young men talk, well in general but especially if they are loud and end their sentences with ...eller?? and when they wear those stupid tiny beanies that don’t cover their ears or just SIT on top of their heads like, DIE 

6. Kids saying sskskskks alleyop I don’t think anyone has ever said that irl, get off the fucking vine type apps which I can’t remember the name of rn. 

6.5 The general notion about how they’re “the digital natives!!11!!! 1 !” and are therefore soooo good at technology and that is why every child should have an ipad all day every day....aaaaahahah well maybe I wouldn’t have such a problem with it if it were even a little bit true but just cause they’ve been banging on an apple touch screen since day one does not mean that they are at all computer literate and guess what they are usually.... not. at all computer literate so color me.... unimpressed. 

7. When people are complaining about swedish food and what passes for “asian food” here and some ding dong has to chime in with “well ACTUALLY all the asian food you’re talking about is a westernized version” we fucking KNOW everyone fucking KNOWS that but why can you get delicious versions of vietnamese/ japansese/ mexican/ whatever food pretty much anywhere else in europe and in small towns in the US and NOT in the supposed capital of scandinavia? That is what we are talking about. 

8. The way swedish people (don’t) raise their children. Up until about 2nd grade they are PRECIOUS ANGELS WHO CAN DO NO WRONG AND MUST BE CATERED TO AT ALL TIMES. Once they’re like 9 years old, “eh, they can take care of themselves” (not like they got any particular supervision before that but anyway). Sorry, but schools should not be democracies. Small children want to do things like play in busy streets and play video games all day instead of going to school. What they need to be doing is learning how to read and write, regardless of whether they want to or not, so why is their input taken into account in this context? hello is everyone insane 

9. How super crappy versions of the same craft supplies cost 5 times as much here or don’t even exist. 

10. I like salt licorice, but it has to be a certain TEXTURE. Swedish gummies are usually either too soft or too hard, like you try to chew them and they just stick to your teeth. 

11. Boring swedish dudes who are not even good looking who have smokin hot girlfriends. I’ve met a few recently and I’m so confused. 

Other thoughts I’ve been having lately: 

1. banked slalom. It was cool, I should have done it more, and I should have been less afraid of being flung out of the track upside down like a wet noodle. It doesn’t hurt that bad. any ideas on how to squash legitimate fears lemme know. 

2. Why is all the cool gear for dudes. does a dude the same height as me really weigh that much more?? Why are the now brigade bindings in the retro colorway only mens medium and large? How are bindings different for men and women, REALLY? 

3. I want to go back to mayrhofen because I could have the park mostly to myself. There was also a junior park, which was adult size features made a lil easier with ramps, etc. In sweden it seems to be either tiny literal baby park or giant terrifying I’m not supposed to be here park and nothing in between. I don’t wanna be falling all over the place and getting stuck around a bunch of way-too-serious swedish douchebros and also... just feels better embarrassing urself in front of foreigners that you’re even less likely to ever see again/who you don’t speak the same language as. 

4. Had a conversation with a friend the other day and she was like “how did you get to be so confident?? You never wear makeup” confident not really, try more. not caring and full of spite. I hate. HAAAAATE the whole “doooon’t compaaaareee yourself to othersss! looove yourselllf ” just, prioritize other things. I love not spending time on makeup or skincare or clothes. like I can admire when other people do it but that doesn’t mean I have to do it. I can still snowboard regardless of my looks and whether I love myself or not so who tf cares. 

5. I don’t know what to do. My procrastination at the moment is INSAAANE and I think maybe it’s because I’m a) a lazy, stupid impostor and/or b) not sure where I’m going at the moment. teaching, not teaching. it’s so good, but also it reminds me all the time why I hate swedish people, fuck   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
