How long have Vanessa and Wade been apart?!?! They went from trying to have a baby to being exes that was COMPLETE whiplash. I would like to know how they got to that point bc my inference was that Vanessa made him quit merc work when she died bc not safe environment to raise said baby and that he self destructed later on which continued to the start of the movie and i guess they never had a baby but was that by choice or chance?

This is a Brady hate post, because what I said in my review of the book is not enough to express my feelings about him

Looking back, he was acting much older than he was and treated Gigi like a child, despite being only 3 years older than her, which makes the "relationship" weird. And he touched her stomach like that? Even when I liked him, I still found it weird. Knox's reaction was amazing though "She's 18 and I'm 25, I can't see anything"

He kinda took advantage of her skills, she solved most of the puzzle but he still had no hesitation to accept the second chance, even when he barely did anything the entire game. I want to point out how Odette, who we know notices everything, probably saw that Gigi deserved the chance the most and offered it to her first. And even though I think she should've accepted, because she deserves it, I still love how she knew that she didn't earn it like the other teams and denied. That's fair play over here, which is something Brady didn't do, because he actually wasn't even good enough to deserve to stay in the game, he wouldn't have made it without relying on Gigi, therefore kind of cheated his way back in.

He shamelessly lied to Knox and Gigi about his mom being sick to manipulate them in a way, especially Gigi, who took it upon herself to carry them through the game because of this and OFFERED HELP EVEN IF SHE DIDN'T WIN! That's a good person over here!

He also told Knox about their mentor and father figure's death out of the blue? Imagine the shock in Knox, like wtf was that announcement?

PLAYING WITH GIGI'S FEELINGS!!! He got her into him, told her all the things she wanted to hear, just to drop the bomb that it was all a lie? And that he's still in love with Calla? That was such an asshole move of him and I know for a fact that it worsened Gigi's insecurities about not being enough, not having anyone to love her and being too much even more! He was too good to be true and I hate how I fell for his lies along with her

Some of this might be over exaggerated and maybe I'm too blinded by the betrayal but I don't care! I hope he doesn't have a redemption arc and that she doesn't actually end up with him, because he sucks so much that I somehow ended up rooting for the kidnapper. If you know one thing about me, I DESPISE the kidnapper x kidnapped trope and any dark romance trope in general, which shows how low I'm getting for the sake of my girl's happiness and how low Brady set my standards.

I think it's really interesting that for all that people think Nancy is a prissy popular girl (in or out of universe), she tends to gravitate towards the outcast and slightly weird. For real, Steve is the only person in her life that doesn't fit that description, and Im 90% sure the initial pull of their relationship for her was just that he was a cute guy showing direct interest for the first time in her life.

Her brother and his friends are the epitome of this, and she used to get along with them really well. But her best friend Barb wasn't popular either. It's commonly accepted that Barb was likely LGBT in some way, and the two canonically were very distant from the in-crowd before Steve. We dont know more than this, sadly.

Jonathan is the definition of outcast and considered kinda weird. She was intrigued by this, not repulsed. His differences were part of the attraction for him. Fred paints the picture of what was considered stereotypical nerd and unpopular. And then there's Robin, who is, once again, a social outcast that's considered fairly weird and not normal. Robin was a great support for Nancy throughout season 4, and I think a large part of it was that she ended up making her feel more centered through her pure awkward genuineness.

These are the people she turns to and picks for herself. These are the people she feels comfortable around. Every single one of them lives as themselves and doesn't conform to society's expectations. (Aside from the obvious, such as hiding sexuality.) They are people who let Nancy be herself too. Because she's not really prissy, or judgemental, or whatever society has deemed to paint her as; whatever her family has tried to make her into. She is her own person, and I think those people help her remember that.

an afterlife fic where he dies and realizes he has no food for his journey, so he just kinda sits there for a few days in darkness (idk how im picturing the jouney is, dark, nothing but a strong gut feeling to guide where to go) waiting, hoping for food, but nothing comes. he eventually leaves and makes his way to where ever he is supposed to be going, and wherever he came from. when he gets there it took a lot and without food, he can barely stand. he looks up and there he is, district 2, back home (but like, afterlife).

there were so many people there, and once they saw who he was they made sure to stay clear of him, after a bit of confusion of him being there. but there was one person who stood out to him, the person stopped, a distance away, and didnt seem to know what to make of it, shocked and confused.

"Marcus?..." that seemed to snap them back to reality, and they just, walked away. Sejanus eventually found a tree to lean against, not knowing what else to do, no one wanted him there.

he seemed to stay there for awhile, maybe a couple days, before someone sat beside him, "why are you here?" Marcus, and some bread.

"Well, it seems I died."

"yeah, but how? You didnt seem to have food when you arrived. I mean even I did, I don't know how, but I did. I have a suspicion though." Marcus handed him the loaf as he asked the question.

"I wanted to help some people, and they killed me for it. No one either knew or cared enough to give me some bread."

The response seemingly answered his question. "Thank you, by the way, for the bread"

"ah, so you knew"

"as i said, i had my suspicions. Why here?"

" I'm here because this is my home"

"you gave that up a long time ago"

"i was 8. my father gave it up, i never wanted to move, wish i hadn't."

"I'm sorry things turned out this way for you"
