So begins nanowrimo
I'm hoping to manage like 25k words to finish the fanfic I started writing earlier this year 😂
It's been outlined for months. I just haven't had spoons to sit down and write it out.

Hello, i hope you doing well this year. I have been reading one of your fic ' More than a shadow' and i love it so kuch. Are you still writing this story or stop writing this fic? Sorry if the question was bothering you im just wondering and Happy holidays to you!!!
Hi anon! I hope you’re doing well. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying ‘More Than a Shadow.” Thanks for letting me know. It means a lot to me. I didn’t stop writing the fic. I’m still writing it. For some reason I’m just feeling stuck. 2022 has not been a bad year per say for me but a lot of stuff has happened. A lot of work, I moved places, day to day drama, traveling, and getting weird never ending colds during this winter season. So all of that just made it harder for me to write. I’m disappointed in myself. I definitely wanted to upload more chapters in 2022 and I’m so sorry that I didn’t. I was hoping to get one more chapter in before the end of the year. But it’s 12/31 so I don’t think I’m going to finish it in time. I’m hoping 2023 will be less turbulent, so I can upload a chapter every two months or so. Your question didn’t bother me at all so no worries. If people are wondering if I’m still writing the fic or not, then I guess that means that there is some interest right ? lol. It serves me as an inspiration. I hope you had a nice holiday season and I wish you a Happy New Year! <3

I was thinking about BuckTommy things and I was thinking about Tommy's family and obviously we know there's bad blood between him and his father but I was thinking maybe Tommy has a sister that he's close with but she lives out of state so they don't see each other often but they talk on the phone all the time.
And when he suddenly starts gushing about an Evan and how he crops up in more and more of Tommy's conversations and his sister knows Tommy and how much Evan must mean to him for Tommy to even tell her about him. And she's just really happy for her brother.
Cut to a few months later and she's in town but Tommy doesn't know so she decides to surprise him at his house and Buck is there! And it's obvious she's interrupted a date night or something but Tommy is thrilled to see her and introduces Buck to her and insist that she stays for dinner.
But as soon as Buck is introduced she kinda shuts down. And trys to avoid staying for dinner, claiming she doesn't want to interrupt but they manage to convince her to stay but she is just off the whole time and Buck is desperate for her approval and is trying his best but he gets all sad puppy because its just obvious that she doesn't like him. And Tommy is so confused and upset that his two favourite people don't like eachother.
And Buck makes an excuse to leave them alone for a few minutes like to do dishes or something and Tommy sister immediately punches Tommy in the arm and is like what the hell!? And Tommy is hurt and is like why don't you like him? And his sister says because all I've heard about the last 6 months is Evan this and Evan that and you've never sounded happier but here you are cheating on Evan with Buck!??
And Tommy just bursts out laughing and his sister is getting more angry/disappointed in her brother. And tommy calls Buck back in the room and is like 'babe, introduce yourself to my sister' and Buck's all confused like, we've already met, we've just had dinner she knows my name? And Tommy is like, no, your full name. And Buck's confused but does and says his name is Evan Buckley and then it clicks for Tommy's sister and then *both* Kinards are laughing and Buck is just confused and kinda hurt because this really isn't how he saw meeting Tommy's family going.
But then Tommy's sister is hugging Buck and thanking him for making her brother happy and Buck is all ??? But happy that he seems to finally have won her approval even if he doesn't understand why his full name is what's done it.

at least once a week i say to myself babygirl its time to get over stucky its 2022 and you hate mcu but. but. they unintentionally made such enthralling, tragic, beautiful love story that just grips you hard by your heart and never fucking lets go just keeps pulling
they made characters that revolved around each other without being anything but equal, they created this relationship that spawned over decades, from bruised knees and backyard bullies to shared apartments through the trenches to the impossible future.
they wrote a man who was good through and through, who was the most selfless man ever who would (and did) fight the whole world and walk over dead bodies to save that one man who was always there for him, to search every corner of the planet just to find him again and help him, the only selfish thing he allowed himself
they wrote a man who worshipped the ground the little ridiculed man walked on since day one but never made him feel like he was a burden, they put him through hell and erased him and still he managed to come back and find himself just because of an unintentional wedding vow.
they went through parallelling experiences without even knowing it, every part of their journey mirrored in a cruel way, they lived through something nobody else can relate to only to against all odds, find each other seventy years into the future after both of their deaths, after bucky was all but damned but steve was willing to risk everything
they wrote a beautiful love story and then they got too scared of the queerness they accidentaly created since day one these two appeared on screen and threw it all away for a cheapened story arc just to appeal to the masses and every day i think about what could have been if they werent cowards and played into that chemistry

The door slams. Footsteps tramp up the corridor. The villain’s gaze snaps up from the crochet in their lap.
The hero appears in the doorway. Their eyes lock for a long moment.
“Hey,” is all the hero says. The villain hums in return as they continue across the living room to the minifridge, tucked away in the corner, to grab a snack. Alcohol’s proven off limits with haphazard schedules like theirs—snacks are a decent enough substitute.
The hero flops on the sofa next to the villain wielding a bag of celery sticks. “Weren’t you meant to be out, like, an hour ago?”
The villain’s gaze is already back on the yarn in their hands. “Yeah, but I didn’t wanna go until the film finished.”
The hero’s attention turns to the tv screen in front of them. They’ve seen this film before. They’re not even an hour in. “Won’t [Supervillain] be mad if you’re late?”
“Well, timetables aren’t very evil.” The villain laughs shortly. “So no.”
The hero hums at that. “You’re really willing to be two hours late?”
“Why?” The villain squints at them from over the slowly lengthening jumper between their crochet hooks. “You got a girl waiting for you in your room?”
The hero scoffs dramatically. “I don’t even like girls, you moron.”
They dip into their bag of celery mindlessly, crunching on a stick for a moment before holding the bag out to their nemesis. Said nemesis looks entirely offended at the offer.
“Jesus, ew, no,” they snap, their tone playfully harsh. “You can just say if you want me to leave.”
“Oh, sorry.” The hero leaps to their feet, waving their celery stick at the villain like a priest might wield a cross. “Begone, demon!”
The villain shrieks in believable horror, scrambling away from the hero. “God, no! Not the celery!”
The hero laughs brightly. “Go to work!”
The villain makes some strangled noise of dread, clutching dramatically at their chest. “Fine, fine! I’ll go!” They practically leap for the front door, grabbing for their coat on the way. The hero mercilessly follows them into the hallway. It’s moments like these the hero remembers what a damn good actor the villain can be when they feel like it.
The front door gets flung open. The villain makes a show of fumbling for the doorway before turning back to the hero with a grin. “See you out there in a few hours?”
“Of course.” The hero shoves the last of the celery into their mouth in a show of peace. “Go wreck something so I can come beat your ass about it.”
“That’ll be the day. Pause the movie for me.” And with that the villain disappears out the door and across the little corridor outside.
The apartment sinks into comfortable silence as the hero shuffles back to the living room to turn the tv off. Then it’s to their bedroom, already shedding their jacket at the door.
The man lounging on their bed graces them with a slight frown. “Your roommate sounds exactly like [Villain].”
“It’s a curse. Everyone says that.” The hero ditches their shoes next. “Now, let’s make the most of the next couple hours, huh?”
The man smirks at that, clearly satisfied with the answer. “Don’t keep me waiting.”

There’s a current that flows through us,
A thread that holds us together,
A connection that runs from me to you.
You’re in my thoughts at every moment,
It’s a sweet sort of pain that brings me but,
You know me like a book you've read a thousand times,
Able to recite my every line,
You know my every part and every move.
But I find that even the vibrations we create fall into harmony,
The bones beneath our flesh sing the same sweet melody,
The synchrony of lives is bound by love,
A bond so eternal it shall outlive us.
