Screaming.

Please do not do this but I just screamed for 30 minutes so here’s what you should know.

Can’t do it continuously for very long, have to stop to breathe (amount of time and breaths it takes to recover depends on how long you hold it)

It is EXHAUSTING. Seriously, if your whumpee has been screaming for more than thirty seconds multiple times, they won’t have ANY energy to fight back against the whumper. My head was hanging down for a bit because I was just so tired. The exhaustion also caused dizziness when I stood up. Also it’s been around five minutes and my throat still hurts super bad.

Oddly, I could still talk, maybe a bit of rasp in my voice but still effectively and fairly easily. (Again, about thirty minutes with tiny breaks)

Seriously when the exhaustion hits, it hits H A R D

Mouth kinda hurts too tbh

Heart beats pretty rapidly during and shortly after

My head hurts

Both hurts and helps to cough

Update an hour later: slightly hurts throat to talk

Moral of the story:

Don’t scream so much that you exhaust yourself,

Make your whumpee scream to the whumpers content

okay, soooooooooo, I've been avoiding posting about this fic because i was legit not sure i would be able to finish it, but this thing fell into place so hard right now I need to talk about it lol anyway i received this ask last week and it sent my brain into overdrive over the angst possibilities, you know me, i love my angst, and i did write a solid bit of it, but one, it's Buck's pov and his pov is hard and two, dude refused to tell me what he actually did, dude was just it was bad, but i fixed it, look at how I fixed it, but I did find the beginning of it so have a bit of this divorced buddie monster that's pretty much Buck proposes to Natalia, Eddie doesn't know how to react, Buck gets mad at the reaction and picks a fight and says some real hurtful things, Eddie transfers shifts and Buck just spirals because Eddie won't talk to him, then he gets hurt on a call while on b shift and still won't talk to him and then he realizes he's in love with Eddie things just get messy. This is part of the messy.

Eddie is angry, that much is obvious, but the sheer layer of hurt under it all lets Buck know that this is about more than careless words being yelled at him without thinking at the station's locker room.  How long had he been pushing the knife deeper?  How much had he actually hurt Eddie before he chose to pull it out himself and close the door so Buck wouldn't be able to anymore?  How much would he take if Buck hadn't started to yell at him and had let him do whatever it would take to be supportive? Would he make it through the wedding?  Would he stand behind Buck at the altar, watching him marry someone else?  Just shove his feelings down because he thought this was what would make Buck happy?  The fucked up part is that Buck knows he would.  Would even smile through everything too, help him with planning, and talk him down if he panicked. Just stand there, with his feelings unknown, letting Buck push the knife in deeper and deeper until there would be nothing left of them.  Until there was so much pain that there would be no saving them when Buck finally came to his senses. Not that he's sure he can save them now.

went to the best store on the planet aka barnes & noble yesterday with my heart set on shakespeare and had a crisis over whether i should get Fantasy Space Lesbian Necromancers or Man in Coma Loses Memory and Saves Human Race but with Real Physics (both of which i have yet to read but desperately want to) so of course i walked out with hamlet and the four swords manga *sighs in nerd*

Ok so I might by chance be dumb? But um.. Volo as Barry's ancestor?? Idk if I haven't seen other people mention this because it's a stupid idea, or i just have missed it somehow. But like you can't tell me these two hairstyles aren't even a little similar.

And then there's the whole thing of Volo kinda acting like a rival how he just sorta pops up to talk with/fight u from time to time.

I mostly find this idea amusing cuz imagine if Barry ever let's his hair grow out it would continue to do the stupid reverse gravity thing Volo's does.
