Mouse Damage

Druid: "Oh! I can do my fun thing...I roll two for movement. As a mouse, I occupy his same square."

DM: "Wait, didn't you say you wanted to turn into something else?"

Druid: "That’s my fun thing. I use my spell to turn into a bear. Since he was in my same square, he takes 1d6 damage ignoring defense. That’s a 6...and is he large size?"

Soldier: "No, he’s medium."

Druid: "Okay, so he also gets shunted taking another 1d6. What's his defense?"

DM: "He doesn't get a defense if he's dead. You turn into a bear from under him and send him flying into the ceiling and he splatters. And that was technically a transformation, not an attack, so you don't take hex damage."

Prospector: "Oh, it's just a mouse, we don't need to target the mouse. BAM! Bear."

Druid: "I have four more spells...I can do that again."

Finally got the chance to play again! Last time we may or may not have gotten into a fight with Lord Praya-Cannamos, The Ironhanded, First Daughter and Graven Heir of Stonelord Hyderad-Cannamos. The only recourse, of course, was to stunt on the biggest threat in school with rolls ordained by Ra themself. Imagine losing, couldn't be me.

Context: Non d&d game. New player joined an ongoing game late. She was leveled to match the group, but only got starting gear, which does NOT include armor.

Prospector: "Hey, I can't find my +2 agility boots. Did we give those to you?"

Druid: "Nope. You gave me a healing herb...I have no clothing items. Does that mean I'm naked?"

Gunslinger: "Well, you have your starting gear."

Druid: "My starting gear was a staff and a small neck pouch that contains five stones that I can use to help me transform into my animal shapes."

Gunslinger: "Oh shit. Yeah, book says those are the only start items for this character. You can draw from this magic item deck with your level 4 level up."

Druid: "I got an arrow head which gives me +1 to magic."

Gunslinger: "To be fair, we got into combat before we noticed she was naked...so we could hand wave that she was a mouse the whole time we were walking?"

Prospector: "Okay...so we found a mouse on the side of the road and she turns into a naked woman?"

Druid: "Apparently! But I think naked with boots on would feel more naked then just being naked."

I am pleased to announce that we won the fight through just a little bit of cheese. Half the school hates us now, but the other half thinks we're pretty cool. But at the very least, it won't get more difficult then this for a while, right? Right???

In my humble opinion, a wizard with a large hat/hood that obscures the entire face and leaves only some glowy eyes is PEAK character design.

Like seriously, Final Fantasy got it perfect first try, idk why they even try to design more characters, they literally perfected it the first time.

Also shout out to my guy Green Mage from Everhood, probably my personal favourite wacky mage (pls tell me ur favs I need more goofy mages in my life)

Our finale project in my art class was to make a master copy of an art piece, and then make our own pieces in the artist’s style. And while most of the class did more traditional artists, I had to be a lil silly goose and do the funny Mario. So for the master copy I did the box art of Superstar Saga. I don’t really do watercolors that much, but I think I did pretty good!
