This isn’t really in relation to the contents of your post, just a tiny correction for anon, and for a lot of taekookers actually(I’m also a taekooker lol).

But as an avid taegi lover(not shipper), I do have to point out that it’s factually incorrect that taekook are the only pair without a subunit. Taegi also do not have a subunit (unless you count the live performance of “Jingle Bell Rock” at 2019 Gayo Daejeon, but that’s still not an official subunit). Also namjin, 2seok, minimoni, jinmin don’t have one either (I might’ve missed some parings tbh) 😅 so making that point never really makes much sense.

Though, it is still interesting that we haven’t gotten a subunit from taekook when we know that they love singing together and have mentioned recording music together before. There could be a lot of reasons why; the company won’t let them, they can never complete a song because they’re both hypercritical perfectionists, they’re keeping their songs private, or maybe they just don’t want to release their music together. Just another fun (🤪) taekook mystery for now I suppose.

It is interesting, isn't it? Because everything points to taekook being the perfect choice for a subunit 🤷‍♀️ I can see it happening in the future, though. I think certain things will probably be handled a little differently by the company after they've completed their ms.
