In La Terreur, why did you and Silu make a bunch of other kids sentimonsters that were never implied to be that way in canon?

I think the entire rich people senticult is an interesting idea that canon could be doing more with, and it expands the issue of the sentihuman kids being "used" by their parents from the failing of a few bad people to a much more systemic one.

At its core, the sentichild issue stems from the desire in some parents to not see their child as a growing human being, but as a little pet and extension of themselves that obeys them unconditionally. In La Terreur, the fact that sentimonsters have to develop sentience/sapience means that their masters can stunt their growth at whatever level they like.

Do you just want a tool that carries out a functions and doesn't think? Or do you want your little magic pet to tell you it loves you without having to prompt it first? etc etc etc

Also, sentimonsters are a really interesting part of the magic system in miraculous ladybug, and the more sentimonsters we have (each at different points in their development and in their own situations), the more we can explore them as a concept!

As I've said before, I personally don't think sentimonsters are needed to explore the themes Miraculous was trying to get at through them. Themes such as child abuse and lack of personhood could've been gotten at through existing elements without the need for such a large and frankly messy allegory. However, this is not to say I don't think people should use the plotline at all, and I think by tackling it earlier and using it more often, La Terreur is doing it correctly.

I feel like we don't collectively appreciate enough that Harrow is TINY. Like it's common for necromancers to be malnourished, on the shorter side, unhealthily underweight, but Harrow is tiny even by all necro standards.

She struggles with the depth of the water in the pool scene. Lots of characters carry her or Nona around like it's nothing. In Pal's River bubble, maybe things worked different, but his seemed especially rigid about realistic rules imposed, and even he was able to lift her easily off the ground. Joli at first insisted that Nona couldn't be more that 14 at most. Hot Sauce is 14, yet some of the kids held up before the broadcast look "older than Hot Sauce" and "a lot older than Nona". When they need to Harrow up Nona, they get black clothes off the smallest Blood of Eden member they can find and still have to tailor those down to fit her. There is no way this woman is even 5 feet tall.

As someone who is also pretty small and has always been mistaken for much younger than I am, I love and appreciate this very much.

But also...

The main thing people seem to point to for Tall Alecto is lifting Harrow up in the NtN epilogue, but even ignoring that Harrow's body was literally falling apart 10 seconds before, I offer for consideration: Imagine if Alecto is like 155cm / 5'1", she just still needed to lift Harrow's face because Harrow's like 145cm / 4'9". Gideon all "Get in line, thou big slut" and the Big Slut barely comes up to her shoulder (yet could casually toss her through a wall).
