Hey everyone! So my band has just put out another new track and this one is about how you should steal from corporations because they are stealing enough for us!!

This has a lot more of me making banjo noises, so please be kind!

We're still here! 🌲🧡

Greetings fellow humans! It's been a while since we've logged in, but just wanted to let you know we're still out here making music.

If you follow us here, it's most likely because of our Owl House and Amphibia songs, which we wrote throughout 2021-2023. This song in particular found a lot of people:

While our journey has taken us away from the worlds of animation (but may lead us back again in the Distant future), we are still writing and producing songs. These new songs are inspired not by fantasy worlds, but by the real world.

The album we're currently working on is an expedition through the wilderness of growing up. From striking out on your own and feeling free for the first time, to navigating the many pitfalls of modern reality, to finding a reason to continue on. We'll explore themes of independence, escapism, delusion, depression, inspiration, and ultimately hope for a finding a purpose in the wild.

Those themes will be soundtracked by instrumentals that land somewhere between Fall Out Boy, Noah Kahan, twenty one pilots, and early Taylor Swift. If any of that sounds like a good time to you, we invite you to join us on this expedition! 🌲🧡

I really do hope that Deltarune and Undertale are going to communicate in some way because that would be the sickest comparison to one of the most famous examples of Unused/Beta content in gaming, something that Deltarune has referenced heavily already.

Yancy At The End Of The World: Who Is Banjo?

Oh boy, it’s a post about my upcoming aroace zombie game!  Last time we talked about Yancy At The End Of The World!,we discussed Mack, and this time, let’s go over the character Banjo!

Banjo is a homeless cat who hangs out by the lake in the park.  As he tries to make the best out of a bad situation, how will his friendship with Yancy develop?  And will he find a creative outlet of his own?

Banjo was designed by Raul_ (he was actually given to me as a free custom, which was a lovely thing) and is voiced by Steven Jobson!  He had a very expressive Yancy, with quite a unique voice.  It was the way delivered the 2nd audition line, especially this laugh at the beginning of it, that made me go, “Oh yeah, this guy is Banjo, no question!”  I’m thrilled to be working with him!

for some reason my brain has very strong opinions on the music tastes of marble hornets characters & bc of this i cannot listen to almost any playlist for em cause theyre all Wrong

Today I sat down and on-and-off spent about 4-5 hours mixing a big new piece I've written for Amadeus, that is going to have layers just like the marimba piece. The base layer is very sparse, then a guitar layer fades in at a certain gameplay cue, and a percussion layer fades in last.

This is a sort of vague demonstration of the progression using only part of the piece (can't spoil the whole thing just yet) - but just imagine that the guitars and drums can fade in at ANY point, and you're expected to hear the piece in each phase at least once all the way through - anyway I think I got it about 80% to where I want it to be? so I am VERY pleased

Here is a snippet of our live set at JT Soar last month, and us singing our next release Protect Trans Kids! - this was a really fun gig and we had so so much fun with some amazing bands like Sunny Side Down! We have had so so many great experiences this year and I have really loved being with everyone in horse, making music with them all, being silly and having fun on stage has been something I really needed, and everytime I get to make music with them is such a joy.
