Day 6 

“You like the rain?” 

“Makes the air moist.” 

“You’re weird.”

Cassius decides to make waffles for breakfast. They watch the rain fall against their window as the sound of the waffle makers goes off. 

Admittedly, there’s something extremely depressing about eating waffles by themself while staring out into the rain. At least they weren’t frozen waffles. That would be a whole other layer of depressing. 

Their attention is taken away by the sound of soft growling from the basement. Their crystal glows a bit. The rain has always been a weird time. 

Cassius sighs and puts their plates away in the sink. They head to the basement, watching Azra twitching on the cold floor. 

“You have several pillows, why would you do this to yourself?” They tease while opening up the door and scoping the blob. “That being said, I always did take you for a masochist.” 

They chuckle when Azra attempts to bite their fingers. His mouths pull into a snarl, revealing rows of sharp teeth. 

“Oh wow, how scary,” Cassius drawls, walking up stairs with Azra in hand. Azra grumbles, probably upset at how unthreatening he is in this state. “Don’t worry, you’ll be scarier in a week or so. Give it time.” 

Cassius sits down on their couch, next to the window. Azra watches the rain with rapt interest, eyes widening at the sight and sound. A long time ago, Cassius shared the sentiment. 

Part of their mind was yelling at them to pull Azra away and put him back in his cell. That it’s too dangerous to do this so early. However, with the clouds blocking out the sun and the rain keeping the air moist and cool, it was arguably fine to bring Azra upstairs. They should do this whenever it rains. 

Sometime during Cassius’ thinking, Azra turned to stare at them. They look at the small pile of flesh, smiling and giving a soft pat. “It’s a bit different in a new body, hmm?” 

Cassius remembers the first time they saw the rain. It was freedom. It was a future. And they're almost certain that Azra could feel it too.

Later in the day, after Azra went to rest, Cassius receives a call from Gabriel. 

“Hello?” Cassius greets. 

“Raz knows,” Gabriel replies. 

Cassius pauses. Then sighs which quickly turns to a groan. They pinch the bridge of their nose. Not that it does anything to relieve their exasperation, it’s just a habit they picked up. “It hasn’t even been a week Gabriel.” 

“Thank you, I’m quite aware of that,” Cassius can hear the eye roll from his tone. They’re a few seconds from hanging up. 

“How did this even happen?” They ask, hoping that the answer wouldn’t disappoint them even further.

“What do you mean ‘how’? This is Raz,” Gabriel says like it explains everything. To be fair, it does. Raz is quite good at getting info he’s not supposed to have access to. “I’m just calling to tell you to expect him sometime next week. I can’t say when, but I’ll do my best to put him off with some work.” 

“Please do,” Cassius sighs. “Is that all?” 

“Basically,” Gabriel says. “Bye.” 

“Right, bye,” Cassius hangs up the phone, staring out the window once more. 

It’s still raining. Cassius wishes it rained forever.

Mystixx Doll Lore (at least the vampire dolls) + fanfiction-y reboot idea

I'm deeply obsessed with these literally two-faced bitches and suddenly remembered the first doll line gave them established personalities. Here's what I managed to dig up from the info on the Mystixx Facebook page (or the images of the character bios)

Kalani: Massive nerd, super shy, strict vegan (does this interfere with her vampirism at all?). Her parents are professors (in what? It's never specified) and home-schooled her until her high-school years. Her shyness is honestly justified: if I went from spending most of my life home-schooled to suddenly being in a massive school with roughly 300 or more other people, I'd have trouble socializing as well (wait, isn't that the plot of Mean Girls?). Her most noted flaw is jealousy, mostly of the popular girls.

Siva: Vampire royalty with her lineage being traced back to the "old country" (I don't wanna assume Transylvania, but I think that's what they're implying), but wants to be a normal teenager more than everything. She's popular, she's kind, and knows how to have fun. Her most noted flaw is arrogance, with her royal lineage being labeled as the cause.

Talin: The social popular girl looking for "that special boyfriend" (direct quote). Confident, fun, doesn't care what others think of her, knows the right people to get whatever she wants. She's basically the opposite of Kalani, even noting she almost exclusively eats meat. She also has a car, implying she knows how to drive.

Azra: The competitive athletic girl that loves being outside and doesn't really care about boys. Rather direct and blunt; says what's on her mind even if it gets her in trouble.

General lore implications

Vampirism is genetic if royal vampire bloodlines are a thing.

Vampirism is something you can turn off and on, since the girls can turn human during the day to better blend in at school.

The doll line that proceeded it with a similar concept, Mystikats (?), gave each of the girls little powers to add to their otherworldly cat-girl motif, so I'll just carry it over to this line because I think it's cool.

With that in mind, here's my loose fanfic-esque reboot idea

.Siva, the up-and-coming vampire princess still getting used to being in America despite spending 3 or more years there, is assigned three vampire girls her age to act as her personal guards/teachers. Each of the four get special amulets that allow them each to access a different power.

.Siva goes to high school with the other girls under the guise of an exchange student from (country of origin) and gets to experience normalcy for the first time. Between normal high school classes, the other three tutor Siva to prepare her more for her duties as a princess.

.Talin and Siva immediately become friends, bonding over Siva's newfound popularity at school. Because of her eye for fashion, Talin's in charge of tutoring Siva in etiquette, decorum, and (best of all for them both) fashion. Talin's amulet gives her telekinesis, which she considers useful for someone not as well-versed in combat as Azra.

.Azra, being the most athletic of the four, is in charge of tutoring Siva in combat (Being the princess of vampires can put a pretty big target on your back, so you gotta know how to defend yourself). Azra's amulet allows her to freeze time, whether that's as a whole or just one object at a time. She considers this power very useful in case of there being more than one enemy.

.Kalani, being the smartest, tutors Siva in history and all things political. Due to being homeschooled for most of her life, her and Siva bond over the culture shock of suddenly entering the American public schooling system. Kalani's amulet gives her clairvoyance, allowing her to see into the past and see the histories/thoughts of people and objects usually through physical contact. All the girls' powers develop more as the story continues.

.Siva's amulet allows her to shapeshift, so she's the only one of the four vamps that can actually turn into a bat or wolf or mist or whatever other spooky form.

.Of course, it isn't just lessons day in and day out; at night, the girls go into vampire mode and do teenager stuff/fight other vampires that could pose a threat to Siva. Because their human and vampire forms look different, both normal folks and vampires wouldn't be able to connect the two groups as being one and the same. Which identity is the real secret?

.Kalani being vegan and being deeply insistent on her diet even in her vampire form creates a brief conflict when her vampire half starts suffering the effects of what's basically withdrawal. The rest of the girls try to figure out what would count as "ethically-sourced and cruelty-free blood" that doesn't involve animals. The girls resort to stealing from a blood bank since donated blood is technically ethically-sourced (you have to consent to it happening for it to happen at all), cruelty-free (designed to be as painless as possible), and doesn't involve animals.

.Talin is the only member of the four with a car and a driver's license, so the rest of the group relies on her for transportation. The problem is a hot pink convertible isn't really stealthy.

.Kalani's parents are biology professors at some college. She gets her vampirism from one of them.

.Siva's arrogance or Kalani's jealousy gets exploited by one of the enemy vampires to disband the group/potentially assassinate Siva

.Siva falls in love with one of the other girls and they become a couple (only question is which one fits better?)

Nazli lovingly goes by Nazz/Naz, but not to be confused with the rapper Nas. She's had that misspelling happen before...

She once scored free drinks for her friends for arm wrestling and won. It's one of her proudest moments.

She once broke a guy's nose for pronouncing her name as "Nasally".

Naz is the youngest of 5. She has 4 older brothers...if that's any consolation of how she was raised.

TL;DR: Nazli is a 29-year-old elementary school teacher born to an astrophysicist and a math professor. Teaching has always been in her blood and she quickly followed her parents' footsteps in that. She grew up in a household dominated by testosterone, however, with growing up with four rowdy, but highly protective older brothers. She was bullied throughout middle and high school leading to her hospitalization, but survived and continued her studies and got her bachelor's in education. She moved to Aurora Bay to pursue her master's degree all the while, teaching 3rd grade at AB Elementary.

Her Story

Nazli Luna Deleri was the youngest born to Eren Deleri, an astrophysicist who had moved from Turkey to pursue his career further in the States, and Azra Birkan-Deleri an American-born math professor at UCLA. For once, there was a relief for both parents as they already had 4 rowdy boys running amok in the house, but very quickly Nazli caught up with playing rough and tough with her older brothers, much to her parents' dismay. However, there were moments where she enjoyed spending time with her mother, tending to their garden, getting mommy and me mani-pedis, and getting her hair done. Nazli did have the best of both worlds after all, and she enjoyed it! She and her older brothers were very close and the boys were very over-protective of their baby sister. Not until middle school. She was starting 6th grade when the youngest of the four graduated 8th grade and that...was when things took a turn.

Those bullies came in the form of pink, blonde, and glossy, and Nazli was not. Sure, she, too was starting to turn heads and have boys trip over themselves for her, but not at the expense of her middle school's queen bee. Rumors started off as small and petty as Nazli getting a nose job to intense racist remarks and photoshopped pictures of her that were plastered onto lockers and sent out throughout social media. As much as her parents tried to raise hell about it, the school administration "could only do so much" as the queen bee's parents were important school district sponsors. Nazli tried to grin and bear it through her middle school years, with the hope that switching schools for high school would help.

Wrong again. As fate would have it, the queen bee also just so happened to be at this new school and with a new hive, came new torment. Nazli essentially had no friends as most were afraid to be associated with her in fear of their reputation tanking. Her brothers did their best to help her out, but they could only do so much with their upperclassman power. It got to the point where Naz couldn't deal with it any longer. Her grades were high, but her self-esteem was dangerously low. Grinning and bearing it was becoming too much. She often cried herself to sleep most nights and deleted all her socials. She tried her best to lay low as she possibly could to keep the hate away. Until she met Max during her senior year.

Max was a new kid, very timid, withdrawn, and kept to himself, but very much surprisingly into Nazli. The two became friends and slowly a relationship blossomed. Max was Nazli's first...and she hoped her last. Towards her, he was charming and sweet, remembered her favorite flowers, and every detail about her to the amount of shoes she owned. She truly thought and hoped, like many teen girls, he'd be her one and only. However, Max's intentions were shown on prom night. The reveal that he was the queen bee's cousin and dated her only to humiliate her was what pushed Nazli over the edge. Waking up in the hospital to her worried mother and her father and brothers in tears put so much shame on her. However, her family as close and tight-knit as they were held their support and got Naz the help she needed and ultimately, she was able to stand on her own two feet.

By the following spring, she was attending UC Irvine and getting her bachelor's in elementary education. Once moving back to LA, she kickstarted her career as a kindergarten teacher, then worked her way up to 5th grade, then 4th grade, and 3rd grade, where she stayed until she left for Aurora Bay to pursue her master's degree in education and also teach 3rd grade there...okay and maybe to also be nosy and see what one of her brother's is up to with his life, too.

So one of the parts with Between The Crayon Lines is that, at the end of Season 2, the found family end up hurting each other. Like...REAL bad.

Jo ends up doing something with other witches (not cheating, but they probably end up getting the Zombie Ant Fungus from someone, or agreeing on a deal to try and figure out how and why Wesley didn't die, but giving up something BIG in the process. Maybe info. Maybe something to do with Eve or Archie or Crystal. Either way, Jo kind of fucks up) without consoling the family...like at all. And then Eve finds out about it, and is understandably upset.

And then Azazel comes in, and out of the blue kisses Eve. Jo doesn't see, but they can *tell* something happened. When they have a conversation about it, Jo's willing to believe that it wasn't something Eve instigated but that she wants Azazel gone, and Eve knows what Azra is going through but Jo doesn't so they end up arguing. Bad. It gets so bad Eve ends up trying to avoid Jo and sticking with Azra, which Jo sees as Eve's picking her over me, and is **understandably** upset about it.

It's not misunderstanding. At least, not fully. Jo and Eve are assuming things about each other, and *talking didn't work* but the point is, that they *tried*

And then everything with Azra and Archie. Hell you can even make a point that Mammon fucked up by giving Eve his curse (he does it for a multitude of reasons. Because he cares about Eve and the family and wants them to live, he's still kind of selfish and doesn't want the burden of the curse, a little suicidal(maybe a lot actually), but I think he does it because he realizes not everyone's going to live, and he doesn't know what will happen to Eve if she dies, so he ensures that Wesley's main family can survive because he still doesn't believe that he's a part of the family etc. etc.)

Anyways yeah just kinda brainstorming tonight, trying to make sense of the Second Act/Season 2 finale low point. Any feedback would be much appreciated 👍

A man with enough power and influence that the politicians of Crime City will : try to avoid anything to do with his bubble, try to ally with him or get rid of him forever. The best part is they don’t know Azra is the one they are after. While he leads a powerful gang and makes the decisions, he is not the face of said gang. Azra has a strict moral code that leaves innocent civilians out of the gangs path. The city is full of enough corrupt trolls that it never really effects anything, he likes targeting back alley cybernetic businesses the most.

Lyree is his precious matesprit and the reason why he knows so much about classic dancing, their love story can be described as a ‘kdrama’ with the classic save love interest from being hit by a car and trying to get him through her/trashing her hive. Which they’d regret deeply. Azra is very protective of his quads and that also includes his palemate Yenmi.

So here's my current thoughts about our favourite crow demon before I go to bed:

The KARASU 2.0 AU (Nightbringer) is probably going to updated more slowly while we wait and see where the canon story is heading.

I have at least two more oneshots planned for the Feathered Friends AU (OG Obey Me). I have notes written for these already and honestly, this version of Karasu is my favourite to write so it's my priority.

That being said, I'm working on a comprehensive character page for him and I'll pin it in the Masterlist for people to find his info more easily. It'll have his general character bio sheet plus a "understand my ship in 5 minutes" sheet for people that are interested in pairing him with their own MCs.

It's not explicitly stated in my requests FAQ, but you can ask questions about or request more headcanons for him or my other OCs if you want.

(Also I'm lowkey preparing for Azra's debut sometime in the near future. He's getting jealous of Karasu's attention. rofl)

extremely :D! abt this one bc it is so so vital to his existence!!! garvith is infact the other half of reina's soul (as in, resulting from the very soul split that broke the entire verse) the original ruler they were split her soul resulting in reina (who retained the original's name and appearance) and garvith, who took the form of a giant white feathered serpent, who didn't take a proper name until a bit later due to nerice getting nuked as consequence n there not having been a lot of time for identity-finding during that mess. immediate post-split reina/garvith is vry fun because they're essentially identical persons(serpents) who share a consciousness soup until they diverge into vastly different personalities over the following centuries of war :3!!! as such garvith's 'childhood memories' are exactly the same as reina's bc they were the same being up to the soul split, which definitely wins out on Important Event He Keeps Thinking About That Shaped His Future like. i do have to stress it's not that garvith is a split-off part of reina but that both reina&garvith as they exist now are divergent paths of the singular true ruler they were before the split!! i love going on endless meta on which aspects of og!reina each of them retained/are expressions of, it's soooo interesting!!!! but a ramble for a different time bc length! :D

🤕 what is the worst injury your OC has ever suffered? do they have any scars or lasting physical reminders of it? do they get sick often or have any lasting medical conditions?

ohboy!!! shina is the lifesong user of lhnh generation making her everyone's favourite field medic (evil) the drawback being that to heal someone she essentially transfers their injuries to herself >:3 she's racked up an impressive scar count that easily beats out gray's habitual mutilation games to the point where there's not many places on her body that are unscarred. her worst scar(s) are the result of trying to save as many people as possible in the aftermath of one of azra's surprise attacks until the lifesong shut down on her (yay for parasitic power that wants to keep its host alive) & to her credit, with experience she learns to mitigate the damage she incurs by diverting e.g. one large injury in many smaller, less severe ones, so long as the total life force given balances out it works! descendant resilience keeps her from suffering too hard a long-term damage (everything heals eventually) also just general unrelated but vital fun fact im tacking on at the end: she absolutely fucking hates descendants and her war duty and while she will not let anyone die she is also always a second away from murdering people in cold blood, has stopped hearts in sincere threat, and despises reina with a passion. shina's only buddy is a guy by the name of irias who also keeps a pet blood demon which further dampens how much dmg she has to take for her job where she can just infuse its generated blood with her life force to heal people and then pass the fuck out. she's a lot

💀 has your OC ever lost anyone to death? multiple people? people close to them? how does the loss make them feel?

FUNNILY ENOUGH noah has never lost anyone to death (not on main anyway. avery dies a couple times, but that's Complicated lol) HOWEVER noah is notoriously unlucky in just. getting fucking betrayed to the point of the other person being dead to him/having to kill them which is just. extremely tragic how it keeps happening im laughing (crying) rn fucking f. heres an abridged list:

damia whom he technically betrays first when he allies with reina and leaves damia stuck at the bottom of the ocean. they have a cute deathmatch abt it in dream game

maheloas switches to azra's side and noah spends much of the rest of the war hunting him down/keeping him in check during battles

garvith, who ultimately flees the war during a critical encounter with azra (which also almost kills reina. oops) & that fucks noah up even more since he n garvith were kind of an item (in their own dragon/serpent way. advanced qpr)

noah's entire fucking drama revolves around a self-sustaining cycle of toxic loyalty and betrayal (where his own betrayal of damia is at the core) and he copes with what he did thru his unwavering loyalty to reina to his own and everyone else's detriment h.

Oh shit I don’t think that far back rippp me I’ll just give some basic info instead

Lillie is a catgirl (don’t judge me ok). She’s bisexual and yearns for her best friend Azra. They both go to the same college in a small town in the northeastern us. Lillie is outgoing, so she has a lot of friends, but she’s not that close with most of them. She struggles to get her brain to think things through but she always tries her best and it pays off.

Azra is just vibing. I tend to draw him with wings (idk why). They’re asexual and panromantic. They’re really oblivious and don’t seem to notice Lillie yearning for them. He’s pretty shy and quiet but Lillie gets him to open up sometimes. They like to cook and are really good at it. They tend to live in the present and don’t think about things too much.

Ineffable Inktober Day 4: Reverse

So yeah, everyone has done a reverse au by now, but I’ve had my own in the works for a while and finally got around to hashing out some art

Some info on my reverse designs: Crowley, Principality of Earth Basically the same as canon, but he’s more open about doing good deeds. Still had questions, but he managed to keep them to himself. He’s very aware of how Not Great heaven actually is, and his faith is in earth and Azra.

Azra Z Fell, demon of knowledge Again, basically same as canon, but a little more jaded and a little more sad. His animal form is a capybara, and he generally exudes an aura of calm, despite being a demon. Loves books still, especially banned books and things considered “forbidden”. Falling gave him a bit of a hopelessness to him, especially with all the bad things he’s witnessed on earth, but Crowley keeps him afloat.

(I got too attached to my own reverse au, so expect more on this later)

Priest Au info

Info about the Priest au I'm currently writing and drawing stuff for (will reblog to my art and writing blog too)

In this au Aziraphale becomes a priest to help spread the word of God more effectively. He also has a small area in the church dedicated to children and is often found reading to any children there.

Crowley is basically the same. Except for the fact that he has longer hair (about to his waist almost).

Another thing is Aziraphale doesnt know crowley is a demon. This is because all the times in the past when they have met, crowley was either a snake or his face was hidden in human form. (This is because crowley didnt want his supposed enemy to know his face and be able to recognize him while doing temptations)

At first, crowley doesnt recognize the priest as aziraphale. This is because it's been quite a few centuries since they'd last met. Though he does get the feeling that the priest is very holy and has a voice and smile that seems very familiar.

Aziraphale goes Azra.

Crowley goes by Crowley, but later Anthony. (Because crowley was too close to crawley and he was getting anxious)

I dont qamt to get too into what happens later on because I do plan on writing it, but I can say a few things I think

When crowley does find out the priest is aziraphale l, he has a hard time acting normal and not calling aziraphale angel. (He really sucks at this)

Also at that point crowley starta to realise how he feels and is like: oh fuxk, oh shite, oh damn, I'm in Love with a priest who happens to be an angel who happens to be my enemy

Aziraphale knows crowley as been acting weird all of a sudden, and notices the odd blushes and almost being called something else, but he doesnt push it. Yet.

Crowley of course has to report back to hell about how hes tempting this priest, and accidently leaves out the fact the priest is an angel.

Of course hell finds out, and let me say... oh boi

Heaven doesnt find out about any of this until beelzebub goes whining to gabriel like the little fly bastard he is.

And thus heaven and hell go wild.

Heaven orders aziraphale to get rid of crowley (aziraphale is like??? Hes a human! Hes fine!)

And hell is all, crowley go kill the angel, kill the angel, do it or else (to which crowley is like!! Uh, um, Ngk, who's crowley?)

Anyway yea. Crowley does go into his snake form at some point, to which aziraphale does notice and is like!!! Bad demon, shoo shoo. Of course crowley doesnt and because azirphale is easy to get talking, asks about the human aziraphale has been talking to recently. (Tryna figure out if hes been found out) and aziraphale practically combusts in blushing mess and crowley is like, oh, oh

When crowley tells aziraphale hes a demon, he forgets to say hes Crawley, so aziraphale is like, but anthony!! Your so nice!!! You couldnt possibly be!! Basically thinks crowley isn't a bad demon, just like a low level one or something

Crowley does the whole, I'm not nice, that's a four letter word! Thing and just thinks that's good and aziraphale gets it.

So when he transforms into his snake form (will not say why ;) ok it's because of hell) boy howdy is he surprised when aziraphale freaks out and suddenly wont talk to him. Yeah he gets real sad basically and like. Sad snek. It lasts a bit, but dont worry it gets resolved eventually
