in a fascinating turn of events, i have learned how my subconscious views our own system, and i think its worth it to consider this in a P-DID light.

they said its "like projectors," where multiple projectors can light up a single screen to create a full image. at the moment, the mind limited to one or two projectors at a time due to dissociative barriers, but its goal is for the system to heal enough that it can superimpose many perspectives at once, or be able to smoothly and quickly shift between them. essentially, a layering effect. this would explain why when someone comes forward, we dont switch spots, we start to be each other. we are layering into one image.

the reason i say this is interesting to consider from a P-DID or maybe even OSDD-1A view is because, well, none of my alters ever front. they project from where they sit internally, still affecting me, but through a more passive approach.

im starting to believe this year was an anomaly because the distress was so great they had to front, but as it all settles down the default is a primarily internal existence.

as always, i am immensely fascinated by this information and hope i will learn more.

Journey to the Center of the Mind Trope in Fanfic

I love stories where the mind of a (misunderstood) character is explored. My first experience of this is in Teen Titans' Nevermore where Beast Boy and Cyborg meet Raven's personalities. However, there have been fanfic stories in other fandoms that I have enjoyed.

DBZ In a DBZ story Goku went into Vegeta's head. The execution went off the rails though but it started off decently. In the story, Goku not only met aspects of Vegeta's personality but saw snippets of memory like his experiences with Frieza. It could have been a fantastic story. I think it was discontinued.

Avatar the Last Airbender The stories I have read involve Zuko. Two stories come to mind which feature Zuko joining the gaang early. In a Zuko joins the Gaang at Ba Sing Se AU story, Zuko is severely injured from Azula's lightning (I think Zuko took the hit for Aang). Zuko is on the brink of death and Aang has to go inside his mind to save him from giving up on life. While trying to find Zuko, Aang saw or at least heard when Ozai burned his face. Another story that I need to resume reading called "Scars" on AO3 (highly recommend!) involves Zuko being kidnapped by a spirit who is attracted to conflicted souls. In the process of retrieving Zuko's spirit, Zuko is split into 3 personalities: kid Zuko, hopeless Earth kingdom Zuko and angry prince Zuko. Again, if you love Zuko this story is a love letter to his character.

Batman There was a story that had a similar concept which featured Damian Wayne called "i am we" on AO3. The difference was that Damian was split into the different personalities in the real world which was very interesting. There was also a story with Bruce Wayne where this happened due to interaction with black kryptonite.

Star Wars?? It can be a bit invasive but I think this idea is really amazing to see in action. I have been trying to find a story like this for Anakin Skywalker. Never wanted a Nevermore for someone before as much as Anakin. Maybe it could be the Jedi Council, or just Obi-Wan and Padme, or maybe even Luke and Leia getting to see the inner workings of his head.

Pink Raven could be little Ani, the hopeful slave boy who wants to see the stars. Grey Raven could be a younger version of AOTC Anakin who feels like an outsider at the temple and is struggling with insecurity. Green Raven could be based off of TCW Anakin or the Hero with No Fear persona, the guy who saves the day and has everything put together. Red Raven could represent his growing darker side with Sith yellow eyes and everything.

Maybe a Sith or Jedi artifact is retrieved and it affects Anakin as the chosen one. While it would be easier for other characters to go into his mind, it would be cool to have a situation where the council has to deal with multiple Anakins and confront the effects of his trauma first hand.

If anyone knows a story like this, please let me know! I don't have the detailed lore knowledge or the writing skill to write an intricate story like this. Otherwise, like many other ideas, I would write it myself.

i was cuddling with my boyfriend last night when his shoulder started tensing up (like he was readjusting or gently pushing me off) and when i asked him if he was okay or needed me to move or something he went “no you’re fine, i was just imagining myself pulling a large rope. i didn’t even realize my shoulder was doing that lmao” then refused to elaborate and i have never been as attracted to him as i was in that moment.

You know what drives me nuts when somebody makes a heavier set character but still gives them an absolutely skinny torso and legs and I've seen this across the board especially with fandom and

It makes me feel like a judgmental asshole but case and point from the Mouse House themselves

This shit it drives me up a fucking wall

I know anatomy and everything, I know cartoon Styles don't always have to adhere to it but this just feels hypersexualized and unrealistic.

I don't care if they are a mythical Beast, Android the god damn reaper idc whatever if you are going to draw a heavier set person you need to research and reference properly unless you have a damn good reason in my eyes, torsos are not that small and sure as hell the legs aren't either this was me at 190 getting my brace fitted
