I haven't been back for long but two things are really weird to me right now:
I can't ever find the source of reblogs where before you could see it. I find it really weird, it's like I never know who's talking. Sometimes I can't even find source of posts without looking for it as well.
Lack of interactions bother me. You used to be able to reblog replies or to have at least more public discussions and now it seems impossible, and XKit is not helping at all. If people leave replies on the post itself and you can't have a simple way to reblog, that means you have to go back to a post to follow the conversation along, which most people would never do. You do it if you're tagged, which means one to one conversations are encouraged but not fandom wide discussions
So it's harder to see who's talking and it's harder to talk.
Maybe most of you are on Discord and prefer it there because of this? IDK.
Btw, I usually post messages unless I'm asked not to but if there's some new etiquette and I shouldn't, tell me. I'm very confused by this new Tumblr.

I wonder if Illario is hurt by Lucanis not seeming to suspect him? If he's offended that Lucanis was so quick to accept he was an incompetent idiot rather than that he planned this? I wonder if Lucanis being so in denial that he treats Illario like he's genuinely the fool he's pretending to be is part of why Illario thinks Lucanis isn't Lucanis and is just a demon now? Because Lucanis would see through him. Wouldn't he?
The same way Lucanis is choosing to believe that Illario is stupid so he doesn't have to accept that Illario betrayed him, would Illario rather believe that Lucanis is dead and replaced by a demon than that Lucanis, the one person who was supposed to truly know him at all, genuinely believes he's an incompetent, careless idiot?

I've been thinking about it for a while, but the Mihoyo games fandoms are... Really less than courteous when it comes to spoilers.
I'm a loyal consumer of leaks myself, but I swear the fandom at large acts like everyone is - and not just is, but apparently should be.
There's been fanart in the HSR fandom regarding a certain character and a certain boss' relationship for weeks when not even the 3.1 main mission has touched upon it - because it comes from leaks regarding the future of the story. With the change in Genshin drip marketing schedule, it's quite literally impossible to find out who the new characters are officially because they're leaked at least a week prior and fanart (of course, untagged) starts flooding social media. There were also edits of the new 5.4 CGs everywhere as soon as the preload hit the servers, spoiling essentially everyone who wanted to wait for the version to, you know, actually be out.
Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but it makes for a very poor fandom experience when everyone acts like you're expected to follow leaks or you're the one responsible for getting things spoiled for you. It costs absolutely nothing to tag your leak-inspired or preload-datamined stuff as spoilers.

Being a ghost scientist is hardly a highly acclaimed occupation. Even among those who actually know that ghosts are real, the scientists are widely regarded as whack-jobs and quacks. Idiots at best, scammers at worst.
Well that was all about to change.
While working for the Ghost Investigation Ward, she had made a world-shaking discovery.
And like any great scientist, she immediately set about ensuring it was hers alone. She wouldn’t let anyone take this away from her, and certainly not the government. She deleted all the hints of it from the organization’s databases, and quietly tendered her resignation as soon as the trail seemed clear.
For this, her name would be remembered forever.
For she had discovered the secret to eternal life.
Not just the ghastly echo of consciousness imprinted into ghosts, but real, true, life. Bodies, brought back from the most heinous injuries or even from death itself.
And it was all thanks to those disgusting ectoplasmic pseudo-creatures.
Because that was the solution. Ectoplasm. The potent, highly pure stuff, ideally sourced directly from the bodies of powerful ghosts. Without the impurities, the corruptive effects of ecto-contamination could be mostly staved off.
Now, of course, collecting those ghosts to harvest would be a challenge—especially without the government facilities she used to have access to.
But she knows what the rich are like. They’ll pay anything for an opportunity like this. Once she gets things started, she’ll have all the resources she could ever need.
And she already stole enough doses to prove their effectiveness to those first backers.

I just want to remind everyone that Wallace is canonically the worse one to sleep in the same bed with.
Scott can be a bad roommate in every other aspect but GUYS Wallace is the one that canonically snores and kicks in his sleep.
Scott sleeps like a princess with his back against the sheet lying perfectly straight (and also taking all the covers) and Wallace sleeps semi-on-his-side and apparently just fucking punting Scott in the leg every so often (not to mention he talked in his sleep too) and I don’t know why this is important to me but it is.
Because when people draw them cuddling in their sleep it’s always Wallace being normal and Scott turning and snoring and shit but you’re missing out on sleepy-cuddly Wallace turning and snoring on Scott. Let that cringe-fail 25 year old be annoying. Istg.
I’m talking to the Mobillace people too btw. Not that I’ve seen anyone draw them cuddling in bed (which is a CRIME btw. Draw that. For me.) but like imagine how funny it would be: Mobile stays the night for the first time and the hot-weirdo is a bed-menace, snoring and kicking and tossing and turning and suction cupping for warmth and Mobile is like “I want him to be my boyfriend” THATS FUNNY! LIKE-

"Average CL16 character is aroace" factoid true actually (personal headcanon)
#tropical's art#art#digital art#collinlock16#minecraft arg but the protagonist is tired#Me headcanoning about every character aroace (or on the aroace spectrum) is a given at this point#How do each of them experiences their asexuality and aromanticism? Uhh yapping in tags alert#Collin never cared about romance and thought for a while that everyone was pulling a practical joke on him#Collin puts sex and romance in the same mind space as an entity: annoying and yet it keeps on following him around everywhere#Repulsed leaning to negative (not the puritan negative more like the “you guys take this shit way too seriously stop it” sort of negative)#Hes a prick about it but he deserves to be a prick about it#Sometimes he thinks it would be easier to be alloromantic but then realizes that's stupid#And in fact it's funnier to be a prick#Kevin? Probably dated once or twice before going “oh! Not for me. Fun though!”#has a passing curiosity towards romance though he likes it more in theory than in practice#“Wow what an interesting dynamic between people! I wish dating was real” <- Kevin probably#He is too busy on that paranormal mercenary grind to care anyways (goes from neutral to positive)#Vitri? Does not care for it and sorta wonders why anyone else would#There's better things to do in her opinion#She thought that everyone chose their crushes for some reason (I sure as hell did) for the sake of conversation or something#Completely neutral on both#Apologies for hitting them with the aroace beam it will happen again

Which member of Team Natsu do you think would be the most challenging for a bad guy to hold captive?
The woman who casually rips holes in the fabric of time and space on the daily? The man who can freeze anything he looks at? Or the girl who gets her power by breathing?
(Assuming anti-magic devices aren’t in play)
oooooo Anon you have given me a mental treat with this one XD
Magic suppression is definitely a game changer, though without it (even assuming the mage in question isn't magically drained/exhausted, and possibly kept that way) I think the power of heavy duty materials still go a long way.
That said, my answer would have to be Erza. She's a tank *and* a swiss-army knife. There's no way she can't summon the exact armor or weapon needed for the job... even if the weapon in question is just lock-picks. There's no way to plan for her vulnerabilities without knowing her entire inventory. Now, there might be a way to circumvent this by simply giving her no room to summon anything or available hand to use it, though it's hard to say if Erza would still be able to, say, displace a bunch of chains by summoning armor in-between them and her body. Since she requips directly onto herself anyway, her control is proven to be immaculate. Plus she's just all around scary and badass XD
Next in line of difficulty might actually be Wendy. Her buffs and enchantments can be a game-changer, and as you mentioned, she can pretty much always have access to her element. (Though I do imagine that, say, some dank dungeon wouldn't be that magic-rich sky so I wouldn't really count on that as a big boost.) Although wind itself might not be that effective if any metals are in play. It would mostly be the array of enchantments, whether that means giving herself an inhuman strength boost previously unexpected or enchanting up a debuff on whatever is holding her. (However to this point, baby Wendy as we know her might not be this versatile yet.)
Gray is close in my internal ranking, because he can make anything, but unlike Erza he has to *make* it, and if he doesn't have both hands available, then it might not be as sturdy. Plus there's stuff that won't break from the cold, and would be more durable than ice in a clash. They might have to get a certain type of alloy/material to withstand the flash-freeze, but honestly Gray doesn't have as much raw strength as Erza or Natsu anyway so there's still the breaking issue.
Natsu is definitely a beast of a guy but if he's up against fireproof and highly durable materials then he would be out of luck. (And they might have to be magicked to be fireproof, but I think that's fairly doable.) Once the brute-forcing option fails he's a bit cooked.
Then poor Lucy is really easy if you get her away from her keys. The trick might be if somebody like Virgo or Loke summons themselves to mount a rescue, but that also falls into any Fairy Tail rescue which could apply to all of them. (And I'm assuming that if she's separated from her keys then locating her would be tricky.)
Oh and Happy and Charle would also be really easy to hold captive. Poor little guys.

Color! Composition still wonky, but this was done mainly to see how I liked the colors and such. I can reposition and resize birds/leaves/etc another time. And get a decent proper hexagon drawn up.
This has been an exercise in not letting perfection hold me back. I have to start getting back into art somehow, right?

I think at this point that Sukuna (and Uraume, and likely all of the other reincarnated sorcerers) were under a pact to protect (or at least not harm) kenjaku.
Sukuna and Uraume were both uncomfortable with Yorozu (all 4 of Sukuna's eyes looked dead inside, dissociating in different directions, like a freeze response), and they both attacked her - during the Heian era when she had a high social status and there could be consequences. They didn't tolerate the disrespect of personal boundaries.
On that note, Sukuna wore a mask (Megkuna) in order to face her a thousand years later (I think he preferred that form not just bc he fit into the way everything is built physically, but bc it was like dying your hair to feel like a different person, a reflection less connected to your past memories). It feels intentional that Sukuna had to relive his own trauma in order to repress Megumi - continuing the cycle of abuse.
Kashimo Hajime wanted to fight Sukuna - but never seemed to consider Kenjaku as an opponent. Kashimo only agreed to Kenjaku's plan in order to reach Sukuna, since he was born 600 years too late.
Uro definitely had beef with Kenjaku, but she never sought after him. Like she would have preferred to forget that he exists - but Uro really seems like someone who would attack him if she could.
In ch. 239 (right before takaba vs. Kenjaku), a sorcerer who very much resembles Uro is raging about the way he gave them a second life just to take it away, that's cruel, what does he even want? And he kills them.
Then there's the other guy who wants to attack kenjaku, but was hoping for Gojo to come take his side after defeating Sukuna. And kenjaku is just laying on the ground, unbothered, as he does.
In the month that Kenjaku spent with Sukuna for protection from Gojo - it's clear that they didn't want him around. But they didn't have the power to even kick him out.
And... Yeah this post is bc I was thinking about the time sukuna killed Nanako and Mimiko. That no one else's head exploded like that. It felt personal, despite all their submission and fear.
The common interpretation is that Sukuna didn't like to feel manipulated or told what to do, but over the location of a finger? That's too petty, I think.
I think what really set him off was Kenjaku's manipulation, his chains, that Sukuna wasn't free enough to lash out at the one who put him in the cage in the first place. That hurt - but he also couldn't show that vulnerability. So he had to cover it up with his edgelord "I'm so evil I kill bc I feel like it" narrative.
Then he distracted himself with Jogo, who might have given him more fingers but didn't bow as low... I always thought it was weird that Sukuna offered his service to someone who didn't respect him so much.
But I don't think he was really putting himself in that position - or, like all the binding vows, it was a way to relive his trauma on his own terms. With a curse that could entertain him, but not overpower.
