Hi, as an intersex trans masc person I was just wondering if I could ask/clarify a couple things about your posts about being referred to as "afabs"
This is entirely out of a desire to better understand other perspectives so I'm sorry if its a bother, it isn't intended that way
Is it that you generally dislike being referred to as afab because it references a gender that is not your identity, or is it specifically it being used as a noun that causes the issue?
If it is the noun issue, could I ask if you can elaborate on why?
I was under the impression that afab/amab were useful and accepted ways to refer to someone's physical sex at birth, which is what is relevant in discussion about pregnancy etc. Have I misinterpreted something here?
(I'm also autistic so idk if I've missed some tone issue or sarcasm or implication here, I'm just trying to understand better so I don't offend others)
I hope you're doing well and thanks for your time x
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "PHYSICAL SEX".
And even if there were, right?
Calling me an "AFAB", the implication is meant to be that BECAUSE I was assigned female at birth and had ~female parts~, that means I must have ~female parts~ now, as if these things don't change with time and hormones and surgery, as if because I was erroneously described as female, I am the same physically as I was as an infant, and therefore I share in common everything with anyone else who was also described as female at birth, erroneously or otherwise.
Of course anything to do with being "female" isn't my fucking identity, as a man.
AFAB and AMAB stand for Assigned Female at Birth and Assigned Male at Birth.
Being assigned male or female was an event that happened in the past. I was also a fucking baby at birth. I'm not a baby now, am I? Just because I was an infant then doesn't mean you would prefer to me as an ex-infant or previously an infant. That has 0 bearing on my identity as an adult. It's bizarre to bring it up.
AMAB and AFAB are perfectly useful terms to describe that specific event - the event at birth when you were assigned a sex, incorrect or otherwise.
What relevance or frankly, business, is it of anyone's what sex a ten-year-old was assigned at birth? A twenty-year-old? A forty-year-old? A seventy-year-old?
There are loads of trans people who never went through the wrong puberty, and have had various surgeries. There are plenty of trans people who have been stealth since they were kids, where many of the people around them never had any idea they were trans and/or intersex, and they just went through the puberties they were most comfortable with.
There is no "AFAB" or "AMAB" experience that is universal to everyone based on what sex they were assigned at birth. That is a lie, it is a fiction, and it's not even a convincing once if you actually talk to a variety of other trans and intersex people. Words to the contrary are generally just based in gender essentialist ideology.
What does it have to do with anything, except that some freaks basically still think of assigned sex at birth as what you "really" are, or having a big impact on your current identity in perpetuity?
In a few years, the abilities of surgeons around uterine transplants will have improved. Within twenty years, I expect we'll see more trans women having pregnancies, and in general more people carrying pregnancies after having womb transplants and other organ transplants.
Just say "people who can get pregnant". Just say "people carrying pregnancies" and "pregnant people".
Stop trying to imagine that someone's ~femaleness~ or ~maleness~ is what the crux of the matter is here. Stop trying to project the male and female """"""biological""""" bullshit onto people when it doesn't apply to them.
There is no such thing as universal biological or physical sex under male and female categories, let alone shared experiences based on those categories.
Just eliminate that shit from your mind. It's a fucking cancer.

Intro post! + links to everything :)
Hi, I'm DK and this blog is mostly full of me talking about the Six of Crows and the rest of the Grishaverse! (and I'm also on AO3 as she_posts_nerdy_stuff)
It's occurred to me recently that I never did an intro post and also I'm just generally feeling that things over here are super disorganised so I've gone through all of my posts since 2022 (this was not a quick task you guys omg) and done my best to organise everything into tags so that you can access them all from here! All the links to the tags, or sometimes individual posts, are below the cut, and the categories are AO3, Grishaverse analysis, Grishaverse edits, Grishasverse knitting projects, and Grishaverse incorrect quotes.
Please note: this is a lot of stuff to wade through and I am sure to have missed the odd thing, but hopefully this is pretty mch everything! If you're looking for something that I've said should be here and can't find it, let me know and I'll do my best to track it down :)
Thank you all so much, love to you all <3
AO3 LINKS (I'm starting with the easier links, I don't have to make tags for these ones)
Original works
As I'm writing this I have four fics up on AO3, two of which are works in progress, and I'll update this post whenever that changes (ie when I finish them or when I start a new one)
UPDATE: Five fics now! Links are below <3
Daughter of the Rain and Snow
225k words, 146 chapters, Kanej focused with Wesper featured and Helnik kinda mentioned, post-canon, no archive warnings, completed
Summary:
Around ten years after the events of Crooked Kingdom, 25-year-old Captain Inej Ghafa frees Maya Olsen from a pleasure house in Ketterdam. Maya is looking for revenge against the man who put her in her position, a man who she knows nothing about except his name: Kaz Brekker.
Don't Go Blindly Into The Dark
100k + words, 60+ chapters, Wesper focused with Kanej featured and Helnik mentioned, pre-canon, canon divergence, no archive warnings, work in progress
Summary:
To hide that he can't read, Jan Van Eck has been forcing his son to pretend he's blind since he was eight years old. Wylan is now attending Ketterdam University, and meeting Jesper Fahey may very well be about to change his life. But is he safe to tell Jesper the truth? And what will Jesper say if he does?
Jesper is struggling to weigh up his life in the Barrel and his life at the University of Ketterdam, and there's a good chance that his growing debt is about to make the decision for him. He hasn't attended class consecutively for months, but maybe that will change when his newest project includes partnering up with Wylan Van Eck. But can he really leave the Barrel behind him? And how long can he keep up the pretence of who he thinks Wylan wants him to be?
Meanwhile there is a darkness growing in Ketterdam, and it seems a killer may be stalking the streets of West Stave. An unknown evil is closing its jaws over the city, and it’s starting to feel like nowhere is safe.
Our Gods Have Abandoned Us
19k + words, 11 chapters, Helnik and Kanej with Wesper kinda featured, so much angst, post-canon, canon-divergence (Van Eck wins AU), major character death, work in progress
This one properly started with this post
Summary:
"Of course they do, Jes," Kaz flexed his fingers in his gloves, "That's what losing a war means. And when that war comes, Kerch can't afford for Shu Han to win it. They'll back Fjerda against Ravka now so that when Shu Han turn against them Fjerda will back them in return. Ravka's navy will fall to Kerch's, most of Ravka's territory will go to Fjerda and if it has any money left then I expect plenty of it will be given to Kerch as part of the deal. The Shu will move against Fjerda to take back the territories they were trying to win from Ravka, and Fjerda will pay them little mind until they declare war on Kerch. Novyi Zem will back Shu Han, because they still think their trade ambassador was killed by the Kerch in what was actually Shu Han's last attempt to start a war over here, Fjerda will back Kerch, refugees will flee to the Wandering Isle and their economy won't be able to withstand it, and meanwhile I will remain exactly where I am and get drunk toasting to the end of the world. You're all welcome to join me,"
OR -
A Van Eck wins AU, mostly exploring how the Crows would respond to the situation but I have some semblance of a larger plot forming I just need to piece it together
If I'm Good Will You Come Back?
2k words, 1 chapter, sad and angst, gen but Helnik mentioned, canon compliant, major character death, completed
Summary:
Five times Matthias Helvar spoke to his baby sister through Djel, and one time that she answered
I’ve put major character death as a tag but it’s nothing beyond canon, it’s just depicted in this fic from a slightly different perspective 👍
Portrait of a Dead Girl
7 chapters so far, gen but also F/M, Alina and the Darkling are in a relationship in this but it isn't shipping them and the Darkling is the villain, canon divergence, alternate universe, rape/non-con, underage, major character death, work in progress
Summary:
Alina Starkov was given to Duke Aleksander Morozova of Os Alta in marriage when she was fifteen years old. Within a year, she was dead. The official cause of Alina's death was marked as putrid fever, but many at the time believed, and many in the future will go on to believe, that she was poisoned by her husband.
-
This fic is completely inspired by The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O'Farrel, which is a work of historical fiction based on the real lives of Duchess Lucrezia d'Este (née de' Medici) and Duke Alfonso ii d'Este of Ferrara. You don't need any prior knowledge of The Marriage Portrait or history to read and enjoy this fic, but know that my writing is very much going to mimic that of O'Farrel in format and although I'm hoping to write the story in my personal usual writing style I will definitely be borrowing a lot of my descriptors, symbols, and so on and so forth from O'Farrel - there will be some of mine too though :)
Recommendations
Posts where I'm recommending fics can be found here

SUNDAY SHOW ROUND-UP!
Goddamn -- there are so many shows! The holiday season and many life obligations are preventing me from writing meta about most of these shows except for the big priorities (my Old GMMTV Challenge project and Last Twilight). So here's a quick round-up of what I'm thinking, feeling, etc., about the dramas I have going on.
1) CHERRY MAGIC THAILAND IS DELIGHTFUL AND FULFILLING TO MY SOUL AND LIFE
I've mentioned before! I'm a HUUUUUGE Cherry Magic Japan girlie. I am a major defender of the movie, AMA. When I joined Tumblr last year, besides Old Fashion Cupcake, Cherry Magic was....I think it was the first gigantic rabbithole I fell in. I love, unabashedly, everything about this franchise, and I think TayNew are carrying it splendidly so far. (Also, the original mangaka of the whole Cherry Magic franchise, Toyota Yuu, is 100% on board with the adaptation and is regularly tweeting about it, and just! COULD THAT BE MORE CUTE AND REASSURING FOR US CM GIRLIES, NO I DON'T THINK SO, BIG HAPPY SIGHS.)
So the original manga exists in the Cherry Magic Thailand universe, huh? I'm gonna admit my unreasonable optimism to say that I am not-so-secretly hoping for a Machida Keita/Akaso Eiji/Kurosawa/Adachi cameo -- but the manga existing in this universe jags that up a bit.
BUT! Toyokawa still exists in the universe... so does that mean that Kurosawa/Adachi do, too? I'M NOT GOING THERE, BUT I AM.
ANYWAY! I noted last month that I really appreciated seeing a lot of Japan in the Cherry Magic trailer -- "Karan-san," Karan speaking Japanese, "san juu," the fact that Toyokawa is still the company that all these guys are working for. But I also love the very overt Thai visuals -- the Buddha in Achi's apartment foreground, the offering to the monk (which replaces the onigiri guy in Cherry Magic Japan, lmao) -- I'm just, covering my mouth in happiness at noting that these details are very well-placed, and very intentional.
That's it, I enjoyed every last second of this first episode in total joy of seeing this Thai remix. With X Nuttapong behind this show -- yes, oh yes, I loved seeing literally the phrase "theory of love" in the subtitles, and good on him for going there a bit.
2) An Old GMMTV Challenge update! So, I interrupted the OGMMTVC to catch up with La Pluie, because I know LP will be on a lot of best-of-2023 lists later this month.
By episode 4 or so, I knew La Pluie had to, HAD TO, go on the OGMMTVC syllabus, so on it went. And I'm going to pause on writing about it out of chronology. I'm watching Secret Crush on You (2022) now, I'll do my watchlist thing, and I'll rewatch LP.
La Pluie was a motherfucking important show.
The subversion of the romance genre in Thai BL. I mean. Give me a mallet to crack the gigantic egg on that on. @lurkingshan's La Pluie meta round-up post has been a walking stick for me as I've stumbled to get my thoughts together around this show, and honestly, I'm not ready to write about it yet. I need to finish 2022's shows on the watchlist and get through some important 2023 rewatches to fully write about La Pluie in its context, and to understand how such an important show came about this year by way of the straightforward honesty it took in dismantling and rebuilding some very key expectations that we may have carried about romance in Thai BL before its airing.
If you haven't watched La Pluie yet, do it before this year is over. DO IT. IT'S INCREDIBLE AND SO MUCH.
3) Playboyy, episode 4: I have a lot of thoughts, and no time to write about this show, but episode 4 was really different than the first three. It was CAMPY AF, way melodramatic (wtf Zooey/Soong), but it also had many more nuggets of a plot than I had expected to see by way of Nont finally revealing himself to WAY more people than I had expected. I'm sticking with it with the expectation that Cheewin will know how to get himself out of this mess, BUT, one huge criticism -- the intimacy is getting harder to watch, because it's being lazily acted and filmed (..... you had y'alls' shorts on, Prom/Nont, ahem), and it's just a lot, and can we just, like, get more to the story, I'm gonna put that in the show's request box.
Clown theory: I think Prom knows more than he's letting on and is using Nont in some bad ways to get back at those other dudes for leaving Playboyy. But I'm trying to not get invested-invested because a) still sooooo many names to remember, GOD, and b) soooo many shows airing, my brain can't take it.
4) The Sign: I'm putting this guy on pause. I heard yesterday's episode was 90 minutes, and I can't commit to a weekend show that needs that kind of time commitment. I'm following y'all in the gifs. This is no knock on BillyBabe. I REALLY LIKE THEM TOGETHER. GO SAINT, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU. But I'll watch this when there's a lull in the midseasons.
5) What Did You Eat Yesterday?: WDYEY and Last Twilight are the best shows airing right now. When a show is so good, it doesn't need meta? That's WDYEY. Nishijima’s quiet “hai” to start the conversation with Kenji’s mom? Some of the best acting in all of BL.
The amazing @isaksbestpillow threw down some clutch background about this past Friday's episode that's WELL worth reading, about chosen family and what Kenji's family was offering to Shiro. Gorgeous, screaming, crying, etc.
That's all I got, happy Sunday, y'all! The OGMMTVC will come back with SCOY when I wrap it up, hopefully soon!

Back From Mysterium
Tumblr media
I did a very small couple of posts before this, but Saturday at Mysterium blew my expectations out of the water, and so I decided I needed to circle back around and try again as a much bigger post.
First, foremost, and coolest - yes! I got to meet Rand Miller (bonus infamous RAWA just to the left as well)! Even better, for once in my life my social anxiety didn't turn me into a non-verbal lump and I was able to say a grand total of two full sentences and a greeting. If you know me at all, then you know that that's quite the accomplishment. Usually @timmcosplay has to do the talking for me when I inevitably choke on my own tongue, but by a quirk of fate we got separated (he wanted to get our Book of Ti'ana signed and got yoinked into a different line up from me, who wanted photo evidence) and I had no choice but to attempt to be a functional human. My theory is that I've talked to Rand's face so many times during the intro to Riven (I always talk back) that it was just second nature to say hello the second he looked at me. Genuinely, though, he's so kind and so patient and I'm stoked that he made time to meet all of us and then spend a couple hours even after that being a presenter and answering heaps of questions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tim may have not been with me directly, but he was still creeping in the sidelines getting photos of me getting photo'd and briefly chatting. ;)
Ultimately, we were split into three groups and everyone ran through the events of the day in a different order.
Tumblr media
Tim and I were on Team Ytram (or Team Forg as I insisted on calling it) and had little Rivenese froggos on our badges.
Tumblr media
After the meet and greet, we got lunch. It was simplistic fare, but the fact that we got hot dogs and Cool Ranch Doritos out back of the Cyan HQ means that they were very special hot dogs and Cool Ranch Doritos. Legendary!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then... they actually allowed my wee goblin self and Tim to go through the iconic archway entrance and to scramble around their actual studio. I've seen pictures of the place on the internet before and knew how neat it would be to some degree, but now I know where everything is!
In no particular order....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Iconic signage and that giant honkin' Moiety dagger that Adam Savage apparently worked on?? It is truly large in person!
Costumes from Riven! Including Catherine's dress, which I remember my mom was always cooing over when I was playing the game on my clonky PC in the late 90's, and Gehn's costume, with Tim posing (and having not totally slightly held up the rest of the group by getting detail shots for cosplay purposes, no, no, he wouldn't do that....)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Art! Design sketches and THE MAP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The infamous elevator wherein you'd better know your D'ni numbers if you want to get anywhere (I would get stuck).
Tumblr media
And then... artifacts!
They had THE LEVER from the beginning of Riven. Did it never occur to me that the lever was a real lever? THE LEVER IS A REAL LEVER.
Plus there were goggles and books and Gehn's gun (AKA the only Game Over inducing object in Riven) and more character design sketches with actual costume fabric swatches! That last bit made Tim make high pitched glee noises, as someone who both designs and makes costumes himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were presentations after all of that. Trailers, talks, a non-profit project to digitize over a hundred hours of behind the scenes footage from the making of Uru and Riven and other things, which we got a sneak peek of. They showed off a snippet of the remake of Riven. There was just so much. It was hours and hours and I was practically vi-bra-ting by the time we finally were ushered back to the bus and back to Spokane.
I will never entirely get over the fact that I was able to go see all that with my own two eyeballs. As someone who's been enamoured with the universe surrounding Myst island for the full 30 years of its existence, ever since I was 8 years old, who used to make big calligraphy posters of passages from The Book of Atrus and The Book of Ti'ana and tape them up all over Thorhild Central School whether my fellow students and teachers wanted me to or not, and who was so solidly influenced by the idea of books as literal doors to other worlds that it became a foundation for how I view my own characters and stories (namely that I'm no god, and they do have a life all their own), this is a treasured memory.

Film Website | Instagram | Twitter | Art Tag
Two soldiers bond over their experience with domestic abuse and vow to die together.
PVT Luca Russo and SSG Cohen Bentley discuss why the new recruit has been failing BCT and they develop a heartfelt father-son relationship -- as well as a double-suicide pact.
So as mentioned a few years back as well as my recent attempts to start posting again on this account right as I was starting university with the termination of the development of the SPN fan film linked here, I mentioned then and recently that my focus in art has been geared more towards original art as I start to take art and animated film more seriously.
The result of this change in focus has led up to the creation of "PROJECT-SDS," which is a feature film titled "SOW DON'T SING." And original work near and dear to my heart about
A young 18-year-old boy named Luca Russo who joins the US army to escape his abusive family. Through a twist of events, Luca ends up as a member of the mafia moonlighting as a serial killer with a fairytale namesake.
The video provided above is the teaser trailer for the proof of concept short film, "SOW DON'T SING - This Old Winner," which adapts nearly 12 minutes of the feature film around the "protagonist meets the mentor" part of every hero's journey. Though, Luca's mentor Sergeant Cohen Bentley may not be all that he seems.
This 12 minute short film serves as my graduation project from university and the reason why I've been absent from fandom at large and posting in general. As we speak, the short is currently entering its film festival circulation.
It would mean everything to me to earn your continued support through my journey as an artist with new original projects such as this as I continue to advance my career as a filmmaker. I will continue to shape this account and space accordingly, as well as post more about "SOW DON'T SING" from now on.
Thank you, and I hope you'll enjoy the show my team and I are working hard at.

Thanks so much to @honeybewrites for the tag!
WIP Questionnaire tag
Ya know what? Let's do this for 11 Past Midnight.
What's the first part of your WIP you created?
Actually the setting itself. 11 Past Midnight takes place in the same universe as Children of the Stars, just several centuries earlier (before humanity got its collective shit together). Originally the 'Fall of Earth' as this period is referred to was just meant to be a fun little worldbuilding thing, but then I realised the story potential it holds.
And boy, 11 Past Midnight is shaping up to tell the story of a very important part of the lore.
If your story was a TV show, what would the intro be?
'Wherever I may roam' by Metallica would both have some symbolic value to it, and would fit the whole 'Heavy Metal Apocalypse' vibe of the setting.
Alternatively: 'Odyssey' by The Flight could also work quite nicely given that it's a song Kat actually plays in the story from time to time and that holds some significance to her.
What are your favourite characters you have made and why?
Yekatarina 'Kat' Mezhova has definitely been the most fun to write purely because she's (and excuse my wording) FUCKING UNHINGED.
I've never really written a protagonist like this before so I'm definitely having a lot of fun just writing the crazy things she gets up to by being herself.
What other pieces of media do you think your fanbase would share?
I think any fans of Mad Max and the first two Metro games would probably like 11 Past Midnight.
Actually some Star Trek and Star Trek: NG fans might be drawn to the whole 'show up, find x, help, and leave' setup of the series as Kat and Artur find holdouts of humanity in the wasteland and try to help them for whatever reason.
What has been the biggest struggle with you WIP?
Research. The majority of the story takes place across Siberia, and figuring out what life is like there and what their cultures are so I can extrapolate for a setting that's both post nuclear and post total ecological collapse has been... interesting, to put it lightly.
Also actually having to put my knowledge of geographic systems to use to figure out the climate of this brave and hellish new world.
Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!
Actually that's a major part of the setting: humanity's mistakes killed off everything. In many places you can't even breathe the air unless you've found a little pocket where plants have somehow survived the collapse, and the only things left in the wasteland are the hardiest things: Humans, Roaches, and Tartigrades.
In about ten years, the Empire will be formed, and in a century a madwoman by the name of Doctor Kalmyk Balkhyr will create the Eden project to clean up Earth and will resurrect about 80% of the species that went extinct during the Fall, but for the time being: Earth is dead.
I mean by some metrics, Artur can be considered an animal (given that he gets mistaken for a mutant) but that's a bit iffy of a statement to make.
How do your characters travel/get around?
Kat is a driver for an old Supply Rig that saw action in the Ruso-Siberian war just before the world ended. Although she's not nearly old enough to have fought in that conflict, her grandfather did, and she inherited the Rig from her mother who inherited it from him.
The Rig can best be described as a truck designed to slog it through snow, mud, and those weird sub-terranean ice-sheets of northern Siberia and provide a living space for two or three people for months at a time, as well being decently defendable if attacked.
Most of the story takes place either in the rig while on the road, or trying to get the rig back on the road, so it's the most common source of transport by far for our protagonists
What part of your WIP are you working on right now?
'Episode' one (idk if it's still called that in a written medium), basically just establishing why Kat and Artur are travelling across the Siberian wasteland and why they're sticking together.
What aspects/tropes do you think will draw your audience in?
Probably the trope of an Odyssey, maybe even a stranger in a strange place.
What are your hopes for your WIP?
Mostly just that people will read it. I'll probably just post the parts on Tumblr because it's not really set up to be written as a publishable book
Open tag for anyone that wants it!

Moldy Blankets (Part of an Original Work)
I lowkey feel like I'm going nuts because I swear I posted this but I can't find it anywhere ;adsfj-
This is the very first thing that I've created for a brand new project I've been working on for a very long time. I've greatly expanded on this universe and I think this is something that some of you would enjoy as it's eldritch/body horror related.
If this is something that you enjoy then please let me know! Share it, leave comments, maybe even follow my Patreon as that's where I've been posting content like this!
xxx
Warnings: Post-Apocalyptic, Body Horror, Slow Building Tension, Horror, Suspense, Angst, Drama
He just wants to get home as quickly as possible. He's been away for far too long and there's no telling if there's any hope for salvation..
Wet footfalls echo in the empty streets. Thin, slimy, black growths that plastered every available surface clung to the man’s heavy boots with every step he took. The heavy bag that he had slung over his shoulder weighed him down but he wouldn’t be leaving it behind. Not after it took him so long to find what little he could find…
The faint light that shone through the heavy clouds provided little in proving a pathway forward. A flashlight needed to be used to see even a short distance in front of a person, but the man didn’t wish to bring unwanted attention to himself when he was so close to home. He shivered through the steady rainfall, his breath a fog in front of his face that trailed behind him as he hurried along. He’s been away for far too long… Sounds in the distance nearly cause him to stagger and trip over the uneven pavement and slick ground, but he manages to retain his footing and continue at an increased gait.
Just hold on… Just a little more…
When he left his family, they had little in the way of food or water left. Certainly no medical supplies, as his wife had the corruption clinging to her legs and it was only growing the more they tried to medicate it or even tried to cut or burn it off. Once she began to cry and beg him to stop, he relented, unwilling and unable to hurt her for a moment longer with no possible cure or end in sight. It wasn’t fair… It wasn’t fair to him, to her, to their children… He didn’t know what to do but he knew that he couldn’t sit idly.
They needed to leave and in order to leave, they would need supplies, which is the only reason why he reluctantly left his family at home so he could make the initial journey out into the city ruins and search for anything of use or even signs of other people. There was a signal that went out over the radio- the first in months, maybe even years- that claimed a Safe Haven was founded somewhere in the West of the continent. He didn’t believe it, how could he? It had been so long since anything was heard from any part of the world that he genuinely thought that his family might be the only ones left. The only individuals left. But after his wife contracted the corruption… They couldn't wait any longer. They had to leave and they need to do so now.
Water sloshed in his boots. His entire body was chafed from the fabric of his clothing rubbing against his wet skin but his feet, especially, were aching and likely raw from his long trek through the city. It’s only going to get worse from here on out… Perhaps it was a good problem to have… A problem a person only has when they have a specific goal in mind.
That comes later… I need to go-
Home? There was little home to return to. It was just as he left it: once white siding now grey and black with the corruption clinging to its shell, wrapping around its sides from foundation all the way to the roof and chimney. It’s rotten but it’s held strong. It’s one of the few things they have left from the old world before everything went to utter shit. As much as he doesn't want to leave it behind, he will if it means his family- his wife and their children- will have a better chance of surviving in this hellscape.
He tries the door. Locked, just like how he told his kids to leave it. He knocks twice, loud enough so they could hear him even from the backmost rooms of the home. Silence. They usually come running at the sound of his return. Anxious knots formed in his stomach but he forced himself to swallow them down. This wouldn’t be the first time they fell asleep before he returned from scavenging… He knocks again, holding his breath as he strains his hearing for both movement inside his home and from around the block. The only thing he can hear is the pitter patter of rain hitting the wet ground and the soft sigh of the wind. Or at least he hoped it was the wind…
From one of his pockets, he fishes out one of his house’s keys. It’s one of three, one remaining hidden outside and the other inside, belonging to his wife. It’s still on her old key ring by the door… As he fumbled with the lock, an overwhelming sense of dread washed over him. Possibilities ran rampant in his head. Too many ‘what ifs’ and ‘maybes’ that always circle in on one another, until his thoughts are nothing but a spiral of misery that continuously feeds into itself.
They must be alright… Home is safe, it is secure- He made sure of this.
The air inside was thick and moist. A moldy scent filled the air, a putrefaction of all organic matter that the corruption comes into contact with. Only it was much, much stronger now than it was when he left his family this last time. The quietness in the home was unsettling to him. It shifted around him, groaning and creaking as though softly wheezing its final death rattles. He closed the door behind him, swiftly locking it in case of a possible intruder.
“Hello?”
He cringed at the sound of his own voice. It was dry and brittle from lack of water and use. He waited but there was no reply. Only silence was there to greet him, and it sent a shiver down his spine that settled deep within his gut as he shuffled forward.
The door to his children’s room was closed. Unusual, as they have always disliked the door closed. Especially after the Death… He cracks the door open and peers inside. Little beds weren’t neat but not unmade. The linens were heavy and wet, just like the carpet in the center of the room. Some black slime had crept onto one of the beds, covering the headboard and the pillow in an oozing mess. He left the door and made his way to his and his wife’s shared bedroom.
They’re all in there… They must be in there. After everything that’s happened, their children were glued to their sides. He faltered in his steps as a particularly thick and slippery mound of mold. It wasn’t that bad before, was it?! The backpack slips off his shoulder as he rushes to the bedroom, calling his wife and children’s names.
“Amanda?! Luke-! Sarah?! ANSWER ME!”
He throws open the door and nearly collapses from the stench of rot and decay that smacked him in the face. His body spasms and he nearly vomits but manages to swallow it as he forces his way deeper into the room. It was dark, dark and dank and wet, much more so than any other room in the home. The floor was covered in the familiar black mold that had begun to infest his children’s room, only it was deep enough to nearly engulf his foot with every step he took. It was a fight to pull his boots up every time they sank into the squishy floor, but he would have tore them off if it meant reaching his family’s side even faster.
It was no use. Even in the near pitch blackness he knew that it was over. Words of anguish and shock spilled from his mouth in between retches and sobs. No matter how he blinked the tears from his eyes, it didn’t change the reality that was before him. He sank to his knees and with a trembling hand, reached out towards the waterlogged comforter that covered the shaking and wheezing forms of his wife and their children.
The comforter couldn’t be removed. It was as though it was fused to their bodies. He couldn’t do it. He couldn’t bear it. But he needed to know. He reached into his pocket and fumbled for his flashlight, breath coming out in short gasps as he prepared for what he already knew was the truth. But preparing for something and actually seeing it were two completely different things. A sound he didn’t recognize as his own voice pierced the air, shrilly echoing in the shell of a house as an unsteady light fell on the lumps hidden underneath the bed’s covers.
There was not much in the way of recognizable features left on the three bodies in the bed. One was an adult, two were children of varying ages. Even though he knew it was them… he couldn’t see them in the blackish grey lumps that pulsated and shuddered subtly in the bed. His wife, Amanda, was in the middle, with their oldest, Luke, on her left, resting his head on her shoulder and their youngest, Sarah, resting her head on her mother’s chest. It was mostly impossible to tell where one body began and where others ended. It was as though they had melted together in a soupy mess that had congealed in the air’s cool temperature.
He thought them to be dead, but the truth was so much worse. Even under the thick blankets, he could see and hear their breathing. Not united as one, but rather disjointed and out of pace, like they were all still separate even though they were all very much joined together and unable to part. He reached out to touch his son’s head but quickly retracted his hand as the corruption seemed to shrink and evade his touch.
This can’t be happening, right? He was only gone for a few days. Two, three maximum! Why did this happen…? He rested his forehead against the edge of the bed, gritting his teeth together as a soggy chill seeped into his skin and soaked his face. What is he supposed to do? What can he do? He can’t… He can’t leave them like this… No amount of praying, begging, pleading or cursing an already dead god will save them now. It won’t be saving him, either…
Pain, devastation, revulsion, guilt, anger… He couldn’t accept this as reality. Three days… He wasn’t gone but for three days! Gasping, wheezing breaths stole his thoughts. They are suffering. Death is preferable to… whatever this is. He would think his wife would agree with him. Their children…
“What do I do…? …Amanda? Aman- W-What do I-?”
He lifts his head and presses the heel of his palm into his forehead. He couldn’t fucking think with how air whistled through their lungs and a wet gurgling noise bubbled up from the backs of their throats. He just wanted it to stop… Covering his ears did nothing, just as the sob that was pulled from his core did nothing to drown out the noise of their struggle to simply breathe. He fell back, sitting on the floor in spite of the gooey texture that seeped into his pants and chilled him to the bone. Pressing his other hand into his mouth, he holds back another violent gag that has bile burning his nose and watering his eyes. As he rocks back and forth, blubbering and muttering to himself, something catches his eye.
It’s still there… He remembers when Amanda asked him to get it for her, worried about them living on their own for the first time in a not so good part of town. He thought it a bit much but the security it brought her had it paying for itself. It was covered in black sludge but it looked to be intact… It took every ounce of his strength to raise to his feet. Every step he took had his stomach revolting against him and something in the back of his head was on the verge of snapping in half.
He nearly loses his balance as he leans down and wraps his fingers around its handle. The corruption has made it slick but to his surprise, it was still sturdy, not at all soft and rotted like he expected it to be. He could almost laugh if he wasn’t already weeping to himself. It was like some kind of cruel, sick joke… He hardly had the strength to lift it, so he dragged it by his side as he fought his way back over to his family’s bedside.
Are they aware at all…? He knelt and stroked his wife’s hair, struggling to ignore how black slime clung to his fingers and wads of once blonde hair separated from her scalp. He nearly choked on his own vomit once more when a sliver of her scalp came loose and clung to the opaque goo that stuck to his fingers. Horror and disgust had him yanking his hand away and standing to his feet.
He’s gotta do this… They can’t live like this…
Swallowing thickly, he tries to reign in his emotions. But he can’t. His wife- Their children… He closes his eyes and remembers how they were just a few days ago, when he was leaving for supplies so they could find some help. It still didn’t feel like real life. This couldn’t be real life… Things like this don’t just happen overnight, do they…? He taps his leg and lets out a shaky sigh. Still with his eyes closed, he speaks.
“I-I don’t know if y-you can hear me, b-but….” He trails off, getting choked up. He swallows it again and continues.
“...I want you all to know t-that I l-love you… so very, very m-much…” Again, a sob has him stumbling upon his words. He can’t think… He can’t think. Not now… It’s too much…
“...a-and I-I’m gonna- I’m gonna-” No, he can’t do this.
“-I’m gonna make this right.” His grip tightens.
He takes a deep breath, ignoring how his diaphragm cramps and tries to reject the rotten air. He keeps his eyes closed, tears streaming down his face as he sets his jaw. It wasn’t calm that he was feeling, but rather something deeper that he’s never really felt before. A focus that didn’t dampen the pain he experienced but rather channeled it into something that didn’t cloud his judgement or weaken his resolve. He knew that they knew, and if they aren’t there anymore… then it’s all the more reason to do what needs to be done. Again, he breathes in deeply and exhales. Opening his eyes, he examines the corrupted remains of his family for one last time…
Then raises the bat over his head

CONTEXT HERE:
hello❤️
❤️❤️to everybody who has been reading my silly old words, thank you very, very much for all your kindness and support. truly, you all are one of the best people i have ever encountered.❤️❤️
recently, i have posted this story on here. it's one of the few stories that i have written that i think are half-decent.
as far as i've seen, y'all don't seem too favourable toward my stories (you seem to like my so-called 'poems' more).
i do have a personal interest in story-writing and had in mind a kinda sorta developed universe-type thing with Wisteria and Aris. if you answer favourably to this poll, i will do my best and work on this project. if not, i don't want to waste your time or provide you with content that doesn't stay w/ you.
also, please, please, please provide feedback on this story. i very desperately want to improve my craft and i believe that the first step to improvement is constructive feedback. be as cruel as you can, i can (and should) handle it.
and, to all of you out there who take out valuable time on your day to check up on this blog and read the tiny, silly things i write, thank you so very, very much. all of your love, support and care truly makes my day.
also, so very sorry for posting this again, my stupid self only just realised that i didn't set the timer for longer, so nobody was able to vote. please, please, please, make sure to vote. i love to hear from y'all, and, i mean, art exists only with its audience. thank you, each and every single one of you, for making mine something a little worthwhile❤️❤️

ok hi! pinned post time, since I'm finally using this blog a bit!
I'm Jack (or JT, or Jackalope) and I've been writing for most of my life but I really haven't shared much yet. hoping to change that soon, though! hence this blog. :]
I have WAY too many ideas and WIPs to list 'em all, but here are a few of the writing projects I am currently focusing on...
A Tale Of Two Spies (And Some Other People) (Many Of Whom Are Also Spies)
...or ATOTS(ASOP)(MOWAAS) for short, lmao. It's the first fanfic I ever started writing; I was lowkey too intimidated to try writing fanfic for a long time, but this idea sank its teeth into me and I had to give it a shot. It's an alternate version of the Tin Can Brothers' epic musical Spies Are Forever. I've been working on it for a good while now and it has ballooned into quite a massive undertaking because I am... deranged. <3
Part one, The World's Greatest Spies, is a prequel. It will cover the span of time & our favorite agents' changing relationship from their first meeting to the beginning of the musical. I have MOST of it outlined, and I'm really having a lot of fun with it!!!
111 Waylon
Another fanfic, but this one is for Starkid's Hatchetfield universe! It's heavily inspired by I The Mighty's song "111 Winchester."
111 Waylon is just about fully outlined with 12 chapters, and it will be much shorter and quicker to write than ATOTS, lol. I'm actually going to start writing the first draft very soon! (like... tomorrow. 👁)
This story is about the night some of the popular teens from Hatchetfield High decided to hang out at an old creepy house that definitely isn't haunted and definitely isn't dangerous. Everything is gonna be fine, no need to worry. <3
The Necromancer & The Musician
This is an original work! It also doesn't have a real title yet, even though I've been working on it for almost a year lmao. help. I've done SO MUCH worldbuilding, including designing an entire glyph alphabet for my sneaky secretive necromancers to write all their sneaky secrets in, and I've been having an absolute blast with it all.
The characters in this story mean the world to me, especially the two leads: Zadock Severine (the antisocial necromancer who is Perfectly Content with their life as it is, thankyouverymuch) and Everett Flair (the overly friendly musician who likes to wander and is always on the look for his next fun experience). The two are brought together through the meddling of the nosy god Death (who gave Zadock their magic and is a little too invested in their social life) and become unlikely traveling companions. Oh, and they're both trans and aromantic. 😎
If you'd like to know more about my stories, feel free to send me some asks about 'em!
No guarantees I'll answer every question (gotta keep some things to myself! 😘) but I'd love to share what I can.

Interview with The Path Podcast (Full written responses)
(Note: The interview itself will be different, since mod myne represented both mods on the podcast. However, this includes our full feelings on the questions that were provided to us.)
Tumblr media
Who are you and how did you end up walking the path of a "warrior u" writer/comic creator?
Myne: I go by worldismyne for fandom related pursuits.
I'd like to clarify that Aisha Thani is the creator of Warrior U. Just like multiple people have written for Stan Lee's creations, I'm just a writer who's received permission from the creator to distribute and monetize works within her universe.
I've been in the WU fandom since 2014; at that time Aisha made the comic, ran an in character ask blog, a concept art blog and the main blog. I can only imagine how much work that was. A hard drive crash killed about 6 or so pages of Ambrosia, the last story arch she was working on; three weeks worth of updates up and gone. I watched writer’s block take hold and kill my favorite series in real time. Having to go back and redo work she’d already done had given her time to look at it and go ‘I can’t post this, this is awful’, but by then all of us were waiting for the next update for over a month, she couldn’t go back and rewrite the entire arch. It didn’t help that this was the origin story for a fan favorite character, so there was all this pressure to make it perfect. Instead, after about six artists made fan comics to feed the hungry fandom… she announced the end. The website, the blogs, one by one they all ran into issues and got shut down. Hundreds of pieces of art and story concepts just… lost. Once the comics were rereleased on gumroad, that was it, the fandom slowly died. Before this project, the last time the creator posted new content was in 2017. Then in the middle of the pandemic, out of nowhere I get 70+ notifications from Coffee reblogging the pieces of art I had saved from the old blog, including drafts from the unfinished issues.
Coffee: well, i go by coffee online, im 20 years old and when im not working on my various personal projects i work part-time. i was introduced to warrior u WAYY back in the day (i think i was like 9-ish?) by my brother who found out about it through some unknown and mysterious ways. back then i had very limited internet access (meaning i could only visit sites that could be loaded by the internet app on my nintendo dsi), so i pieced together a bit of a plot from what i could find on google images. i wasnt able to fully read the comic until i was 13 (i had to BEG my mom to pay for the pdfs lol), but it had kinda always existed in the back of my mind ever since i was introduced to it. i decided a little over a year ago to start out the tumblr blog because i had recently read through the comic again and was really sad about just how hard it is (or i guess WAS now) to find a lot of things related to the comic. as the name of the blog suggests, its original purpose was to preserve/archive warrior u stuff so it could be more accessable to your average internet user who might not wanna go digging through internet archives. it was originally for official content EXCLUSIVELY, but myne talked me into also including fan-made content (and im glad he did, its WAY harder to find some fan content than i remember it being just a few years ago). its kinda hard to tell how good of a job it does at BEING that archive, but i like to think it could be useful to someone out there.
i had toyed with the idea of finishing the last official story arc- ambrosia- near the beginning of the blogs lifespan, but i knew that it was too big of a project for me to do myself. i didnt wanna dissapoint people by leaving the ALREADY unfinished arc STILL unfinished. i had written in the "about" section of the blog that the dream was a full fandom revival, but i didnt actually expect that to happen. when myne joined the blog we eventually started playing with the idea of finishing ambro. i forget how exactly we officially decided we would do it, but we did! at some point near the beginning of ambro, we had also decided we were gonna write our own fan-arcs and post those too, and the rest is history!
What was it about warrior u that made you say "this is it. i need to make more content of this."
Coffee: honestly? i think it was just how much i enjoy introducing people to the comic. i already make tons of fan content on my own time, so that wasnt really the crazy part. i had shown a couple of my mutuals the comic after i re-read it, and the feeling of seeing other people actually talk about and even make ART of warrior u was absolutely surreal. i guess thats what happens when you just silently admire a dead fandom for years LMAO! another big part of it was HOW the comic ended. after taking a hiatus, the creator ended the comic mid-arc because creating it just wasnt enjoyable anymore, and thats obviously completely fair. however, the arc it ENDED on was elaborating on the backstory of one of (if not THE) most popular characters at the time (and my personal favorite), so i had always wished that the issue could have been finished. its kinda hard to put into words, but finishing ambrosia was like a love letter to the comic and its creator to me. as flawed as the plot of that arc may be (and as unsatisfied with it as the creator was, at least back then) i still felt like it deserved to be finished. it was like fixing an old toy from your childhood, i felt like we were taking care of the comic in a way, giving it the love it deserves. maybe thats just my tendency to personify objects and get overly attached to them coming through, but hey thats how it is sometimes LMAO
Myne: When the comic was still on hiatus after the harddrive crash, some people had asked Aisha if she wanted to hand the series over to other artists to help her. She said she wouldn’t even know where to begin that process or if she’d wanted to do it. I would have offered then, but my skills as an artist and a writer weren’t nearly as strong. I held onto the drafts thinking, one day I’d do it.
Myne: After Coffee and I started talking I realized, I can do it now. I know what kind of style of pens were used, and I whipped up a page, just the line art and sent to Coffee as a thank you. I thought, it isn’t much, and it’ll take me forever to color everything, but if there’s one person willing to read it, I’ll try. When I explained how difficult it’d be for me to color, he offered to do it for me. Suddenly a page that would take a month for just me to do on my own took 3 days.
Myne: Something, that seemed like a monumental task became a realistic goal. We were able to find, restore, and edit 45 pages within a few months. I’m still amazed we were able to do weekly updates without missing a day. Coffee asked if I’d ever be willing to write fan issues while we were working, not realizing I was the author of the longest fics in the series. Of course I said yes. Seeing Warrior U get finished, even through fan creation, was something I’d wanted to see for years.
You're from Az right, how is the webcomic weeb culture over there as opposed to california?
Myne: Idk about much about Cali, I've noticed the cons are more... professional? Where as Arizona cons have more of a fanclub vibe. Most panels are hosted by your fellow nerds rather than sony or production companies. I will say, that it's become more common and widespread in the last ten years, with multiple anime specific events year round. Back when I was a kid, I'd get made fun of for drawing 'japanese' people all the time.... it was pokemon fanart... Where as nowadays, I feel the average kid recognizes most big name titles thanks to hulu and such.
What are your favorite anime/manga/webcomics and do any inspire your work?
Coffee: not really an anime, manga, or webcomic, but ive always been super inspired by the "scott pilgrim" series. when i was in middle school i was SUPER into it, reading all the behind the scenes stuff i could find. it even made me look into "comic illustrator" as a career option, but i also did the same thing with "game designer" and "animator" so yknow. as for webcomics, the only one i ever really got into was homestuck. side note- the overlap of oldschool homestuck fans and warrior u fans is FASCINATING to me. my current theory is that all these tumblr kids were looking for other webcomics to read while homestuck was on one of its MANY hiatuses(?) and so a bunch of them flocked to warrior u! theres tons of homestuck crossover content and references in fan art on our blog (some of the art styles also look homestuck-ajacent) so its at least clear that a lot of fans back then were also really into homestuck. ANYWAYS other than that i havent really read many other webcomics tbh? weird considering i MAKE one now but what can i say, im more of a Gamer than anything lol. as for anime, my favorite is easily keroro gunso (or sgt. frog if youre using the dub name)! its another thing i discovered when i was young (this time i was like 8) and have just never gotten over. theres a lot of Questionable stuff in it (prime example is an adult alien being madly in love with a 14 year old girl) but if i dont look at canon its not real so i love it anyways <3.i honestly dont know how many people really know about it since the western fanbase is so small, but its like HUGE in japan (or at least it was at one point, the titular keroro has a cameo in lucky star as a keychian) and the manga is still running to this day iirc. it was created by mine yoshizaki and the basic premise is that a platoon of frog-like aliens come to earth to take it over but they really suck at it. they begin living with humans and from there its kind of a mix between a slice-of-life and monster-of-the-week anime. i cant really say anything in depth about the manga because ive only read the first 5 issues of it, which are basically the same as the anime (fake fan smh), but ive heard that it gets more mature and serious than the anime does (which i guess is bound to happen when it goes on for so long). also the manga has some ecchi moments and blood used for slapstick purposes so if anyone wants to check it out just keep that in mind lol.
Myne: Obviously Warrior U. I'm a bit of a visual novel fiend, so Danganronpa is a series I've found a lot of inspiration from over the years. More recently  Though for the comic, I draw mostly from late 80s / early 90s high fantasy. Things like Labyrinth and Robinhood: Men in Tights. Honestly anytime I get stuck trying to come up with a gag, I look to Mel Brooks.
So in continuing someone else's work, do you feel a sense of pressure to be just as good as the original?
Coffee: i definitely felt that way when it came to ambrosia, but i feel a lot less pressure when it comes to our upcoming issues. i wrote and made thumbnails for a few small scenes in ambro and i was SO SCARED of those scenes being noticably worse than the rest of the issue. i know the original creator has seen our version of ambro and those scenes by extention, but i dont know her exact thoughts on them. im satisfied with them but theres probably always gonna be that kinda star-struck stage feeling at the thought of the creator reading the scenes i wrote. its like getting stage fright. for our upcoming issues i dont feel as much pressure because theyre fully fan-written. our comics arent official in any sense of the word and theyre basically just fanfiction with extra steps, so its not nearly as stressful as trying to tie together an "official" story. there definitely WOULD be that pressure if we were ever given the rights to warrior u or something (which i dont want to happen) because then it WOULD be official yknow? also if the creator decides to keep up with what we post ill feel a bit more pressure, but i get the feeling that she wants to distance herself from warrior u a bit so im not sure how likely that would be.
Myne:  I do. Partially because, the fan content we’re making is completely free while the original series is purchasable on gumroad. So there’s a chance that some people may start with what we’re working on, then go backwards to the original.  I'm hyper aware of the tonal shift that's about to happen, no matter how much I try, I can't perfectly emulate someone else's writing style. The best I can do is capture the spirit of it. I just keep repeating "it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be". It's a little harder taking that advice now that it's my scripts we're turning into issues. There is some freedom in knowing the series was never meant to be perfect though.
What drove you to writing the longest fanfiction for the series and how did it feel to be recognized and promoted by the original creator?
Myne: When I was younger, I would write fanfic instead of paying attention in class, and I really wanted a full story about the leads getting together. Knowing that the creator was reading every fanfic at the time added more fuel to the fire. I had a guaranteed audience, the audience. I was so grateful that she recommended it to other fans. That fic was 25k, I've written about 100 K in the last year to help maintain interest in addition to new pages to the comic. To that I blame hyperfixation and hiatus brain. You have to be the biggest fan of the thing you're making.
So i see the that most of your work including the webcomic Warrior U is on tumblr why did u choose to promote om tumblr as opposed to other webcomic outlets like webtoons, mangadex etc?
Coffee: the answer to this one is actually pretty simple; i already had a warrior u blog and tumblr is the social media/blogging site that im most familiar with! we have recently started using comicfury and tapas, but that was entirely mynes idea. im personally pretty content with just hanging out in my little corner of the internet so any attempts to expand or get the word out is mostly (if not entirely) mynes doing LOL!
Myne: It's interesting you bring up those two actually. Webtoons recently come under fire for being pretty crummy to it's indie comics, particularly if you write in any genre other than romance. Mangadex is a pirating website, so most of the comics there are fan translations rather than uploads from the creators : they had a pretty bad data breach a few years back too. At first we only had permission from the creator to upload on tumblr. Once we got permission to move forward with the fanmade run, we branched out to tapas and comicfury. They seemed like the best options for the genre and style we write in. Even still, we see about double the growth in readership on tumblr as opposed to the other outlets, and I think that's mostly because the blog updates daily, even though we only publish one page a week.
Do you have any plans on creating your own webcomic/manga?
Coffee: yes and no. i sometimes draw small fan comics and id like to make more polished and "finished" ones in the future, but nothing with any kind of overarching plot, at least not in the near future. i have a very hard time making original content for whatever reason. i DO have one (1) personal project that is completely original, but i plan on making a game with that. then again i have NO idea what im doing with that project anymore so who knows, maybe one day i WILL decide to turn it into a comic! only time will tell…
Myne: I have a visual novel I'm working on. It's about teen super villains that have to go to reform school. Think teen titans meets gifted kid burnout. The game's been in development hell since our first alpha build and writing about apocalyptic civil unrest wasn't as fun as it was pre 2020. We're about 200k into the draft for the full game and we're having to switch engines, which means cutting a bunch of features, but we're slowly getting there. If that fails, I'll try adapting the story into a comic.
To those people who will see this and decide to strut down the path of comic creation what is some advice you can give them?
Coffee: i think the most HELPFUL advice i could give would be this: you dont have to do everything by yourself. i personally have taken tons of inspiration from indie artists/game designers/etc. some prime examples of this are daisuke amaya aka pixel (who created cave story) and toby fox (who created undertale and deltarune), who both made incredible pieces of art that were defining to me as a person when i discovered them either entirely alone or almost entirely alone. you hear stories all the time of these great pieces of art being made by one or two people, and ive always wanted to be like that. as a result ive alwasy had a hard time reaching out for help when it comes to my art, feeling like if i cant do it all alone that itll never be as good as it could be. as a result though, all this mindset does is keep things from actually getting done and needlessly stress you out. NONE of the warrior u comics would exist if i had never gotten help from myne, and the blog would have probably gone inactive a LONG time ago too. i think thats the biggest lesson ive learned from this whole thing personally. theres absolutely no shame in working with a team of people if thats what needs to happen to see a project be realized.
Myne:  One, try not to put more than 8 panels on a page, that's helped me a bunch with page layout. And two, find someone you can show your work to. That can be a friend, a mutual online, a family member; as long as you have that one person asking "what happens next" you can keep writing. The stories/comics I have that are the longest are because of that.
What inspires your art and what would u say you consider your style to be?
Myne: Invader Zim, Danganronpa, and Pacthesis have heavily influenced my art style. (pacthesis made a series of free dating sims on deviant art). I've always considered my art style to be pretty shoujo manga, but lately some of my pieces have been labeled too western for weeb spaces.
What advise can you give the next person who wants to draw art and share it with the world?
Coffee: i give the same advice to everyone i meet that says theyre thinking of making art in any form, and i mean it from the bottom of my heart: DO IT! im so in love with art of all kinds and the process of creating it, and i think that getting into any creative hobby is nothing but a good thing and i deeply believe that everyone should do it. whether you wanna draw, write, make music, develop games, sculpt, knit, etc, do it! quality doesnt matter at all, you can make the most technically awful thing in the world but as long as you enjoyed the process of creating it then it still has value. dont be nervous about your art being good enough. if you dont want to share it then you arent obligated to! i dont share like 90% of the stuff that i make but i still create art almost every single day! recently my qpp (queerplatonic partner) has gotten into drawing and im SO happy for them. they primarily use mspaint and a mouse to draw and their art is SO adorable and i love it so much, and im not just saying that because i love them. it doesnt matter what skill level you start at or what tools you have, you can always start making art. and dont compare the art that you make to others art, which i know from experience is a VERY easy trap to fall into. i dont have as much to say about that point because im not as passionate about it but uhhh yeah :3
Myne: Social media algorithms are not going to make you happy; no matter how well you play the game and low engagement does not mean you're a bad artist. If you keep posting and talking to other artists, you'll find your audience.
So at wonder con where we met ylu were cosplaying power from chainsaw man with a group of girls who were cosplaying other chainsaw characters. Do you girls normally group up and cosplay and if so how did you get into it?
Myne:  I was born into cosplay. My parents were gamers and cosplayers, and I started picking my own characters to cosplay when I was 14. I started getting more into it in college when I could find other people to cosplay with, it wasn't until this year I started aiming for photoshoots. I tend to be in at least one large group cosplay a con, and bring a different costume every day.
What was your favorite cosplay you've done?
Myne: It's a toss up between Persona 5 Joker and Alluring Secret Rin. Those were the ones I put the most work in that still hold up. Though I'm currently working on Eris from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and that may overtake them.
Have you ever thought to cosplay someone from Warrior U?
Myne:  I do actually! I've cosplayed as the main character Finn a few times. I really like taking simplified designs from comics/cartoons and turning them into heavily detailed looks. '
Tumblr media
Where do you see warrior u being in 5 years from now?
Coffee: man, honestly if were STILL working on this project 5 years from now that would be CRAZY. this is already the longest ive worked on a single project before, along with being the most ive ever gotten DONE for a project, so thinking about what it could be like in 5 years is like. WOW. by that point we would have archived most (if not ALL) of the older stuff we could find, so our blog would probably just be new pages and fan interaction if were still going! the dream is still for a full fandom revival, and weve already got a small active fanbase (of like 5 people but still) so who knows, maybe that dream will be a reality?
Myne: We have at least 3 years worth of story drafted and lined up, and even more outlined. So ideally still updating. By then, we'll have some physical releases of the finished arcs that we've written available for purchase online and at select events. The creator has said she has no interest in making physical releases of the original run. I'd love for that to change, but I respect her decision and I won't press the matter. I'm just grateful we have permission to sell anything we make using her characters.
If you could go back in time 5 years, what advice would you give yourself?
Coffee: 15 and 16 were ROUGH ages for me tbh. i wont get into it because its super personal, but i was struggling with a lot and just generally not having a very good time. i think the best advice i could give to myself would just be that like. things will eventually get better. no matter how dark or hopeless things may be, theres always a silver lining and a light at the end of the tunnel. now if 15 year old me would have taken that to heart is a whole DIFFERENT question, but thats what i would say. 16 was like right before i (finally) started getting treatment for my mental health, so i think considering everything thats what i would say.
Myne: So many bad things happened during those five years, but… I wish I knew what burnout felt like, so I could recognize it. I have this tendency to put my self worth into “how much have you done today”, so once I started working full time and my father passed,  I couldn’t recognize that I was physically and emotionally exhausted some days and needed rest, so I’d just punish myself mentally for not being more motivated. You shouldn’t need permission to rest, and I felt like I had to. It’s healthy to ‘nothing’ sometimes, especially if you’re dealing with things you have no control over.
Coffee: thank you for interviewing myne and i for your podcast :D!! its absolutely wild to think that ive done anything interview-worthy and yet here we are! for anyone thats interested in the comic because of this, i also emplore you to go check out the creators current comic "si3lah" (pronounced like si-ayn-lah i think? the 3 is a stand-in for an arabic letter) on gumroad! it deserves way more attention than it currently has and you should 100% go support the original creator if you like the stuff we do (wink wink).

✾ •°* •°* •°* :::::::::::................  Fear of the Unknown, a WIP story ✾ •°* •°* •°* :::::::::::................
(owo the divider looks so pwetty)
Hi. I think it's better now than never to make something about my story, Fear of the Unknown.
Before I really say much about FotU, lemme tell you what it's about. Cuz, you know, it's what I gotta do as a story writer.
✾ •°* •°* •°* :::::::::::................  Synopsis-ish ✾ •°* •°* •°* :::::::::::................
After a moon of suspension, Lenard Hartmann finds himself caught in a club, or rather a department, he had never dreamed of signing up for: The Drama Department! With his timidness and his inability to speak up for himself, it's still a wonder why he was admitted in the first place.
With the help of Anastasia "Annie" Cunnings, a simple volunteer for the student council who transferred just last moon, Lenard began to understand just who he was and what kind of elf he should become with the support of his newfound friends. And only Crater knows how much he needed that support right now.
However, everything starts to spiral down during Lenard's little time within the Drama Department. Why was he put into it in the first place? Why did he go berserk last moon despite being so quiet and friendly? Why is he always going out of character when he's not acting?
And why, in the vast universe of Similia, is it always pointing back to Anastasia Cunnings?
✾ •°* •°* •°* :::::::::::................
The thing is kinda old but that's basically what the story is about -- just a little elf boy who needs the support and love of others. And someone pulling the strings behind the scenes.
And this entire thing is old too. 3 years old. This upcoming March will be the third anniversary of the creation of FotU...
...and I'm still at the damn beginning arc...!!!
*sigh* It's just because I couldn't make up my mind...
So a little history about the story since this is my first WIP post about FotU:
It was meant to be a Gacha Club series.
Yeah...
Gacha Club...
I'm a visualist. I love seeing stories come to life, whether that be through illustrations and animations or vocal and audio production. I just love to feel it.
And you can't do that through just words alone.
So that's why, even if I don't have any proper knowledge about animation and running a full-scale project, at least my story can come to life somehow!
Somehow...
Somehow...
In the end, I couldn't even make a Gacha series. Not because I didn't know how (I knew the basics thanks to a different community I shall not name cuz I despise it to its core) but because the community...
...the Gacha community itself is...
I've been in the community for a long time (almost 10 years now) and a lot of negativity is spread throughout it. I mean, every community can't escape the drama, but everything I saw was just negativity after negativity and I just couldn't stand it.
(I have enough low self-esteem with my art skills already. Imagine if I made a series and it flopped or it wasn't up to the community's nonexistent standards or anti-Gacha people just tell me to draw it instead...)
So that put me to a halt. What made me drift away was just because I felt restricted with my creativity.
Specific outfits I want for my characters doesn't exist, the angles I want for the series is restricted to a 3/4 right-looking angle (and just a mirror of it instead of an actual left-looking 3/4 angle but I don't count it), and there aren't enough props to create your own custom/interactive background.
So I decided, even with all this low self-esteem I had with my art, why not I just make it into a comic? It'll be awesome to read, my creativity isn't restricted, and it helps me visualize my story better! All I have to do is draw!
Draw...
I have to draw...?
I haven't even developed an art style I can plateau on and I'm telling myself to make a comic???
*sigh*
Obviously that didn't go well... I can't even make a background without overthinking it, what makes me think I can make a comic? Jeez... Such high expectations for myself, huh?
So I opted out of that right away.
But if I don't wanna be shamed for using Gacha, and I can't draw for the life of me, what the hell should I even do?
Novel.
I've written plenty of stories in novel form before. Surely it'll be easy!
Except... since the story started off as a visual story, meaning a visual aide is kinda needed, writing it into novel format is extremely hard...
Oh, I know! Make it into a light novel! It's a Japanese niche of books that feature anime art in their novels as a visual aide. I can certainly do something like that!
Am I forgetting something...?
Oh, right!
I can't draw.
So... novel...?
Nah, I'm going back to its roots and making it into a Gacha series!
Someone slap me in the face now cuz this is the reason why the story is taking 3 years to make and it's still in the beginning stage!
In the end, due to some personal issues, I decided to make it into a novel with no visuals. I just have to learn from my roots and write how I used to write when I was just a child.
Which is extremely difficult.
Better than nothing, I guess. At least I have a word count goal! Kind of...
(Don't tell anyone but I'm 2K words behind on my goal today;;;;)
My plans for the story is to get it self-published. Obviously, writer being a writer, I got distracted and ended up researching how self-publishing works, got even more distracted and caught up with another indecision, there's a bird, and forgot to write.
Yeah... Needless to say, I kinda got demotivated.
Kinda.
I mean, I've been writing ever since I was ten, and I haven't quit after writing over fifteen stories. Well, story ideas, since I never finished any of them and also got even more -- there's another bird.
Tumblr media
Okay, it's gone. Now what was I saying...?
(Seriously, tho, I really got distracted with the bird cuz I put it on my Redbubble as a design lmfao)
But aside from self-publishing, FotU has two books. The first book, I'm writing, and then the sequel, which is planned. To be fair, the entire story is planned. All I need to do is write it.
Plotters, anyone?
Well, I shouldn't say that cuz I didn't exactly plot-plot a lot-lot. I just did the basic beginning, rising, climax, falling, resolution thing with a bit of notes of some good ideas I can fit in. Otherwise, I'm a plantser with more plot.
No, not that plot.
Can the anime titties please get out of my face? Thank you.
The first book, I named it as Fear of the Unknown: Project Action and the second as Fear of the Unknown: Mission Survive. I won't spill too much about book 2 since it'll spoil book 1. Let's just say that joining the Drama Department was the least of Lenard's worries.
Oh, right, I also need to talk about "the vast universe of Similia", huh? Well, the thing is, Fear of the Unknown is a series based within a universe I precreated for a story called Rewritten. Well, not exactly a series but more of a saga. It's already been, what, six years?
Just like FotU, Rewritten was made for a Gacha series but more for a Gacha fanfiction of Lunime's game Gacha World. I won't go too much into it since this isn't a Rewritten WIP post. Let's just say that I've plotted everything and need to write it.
Like usual.
But Similia is a universe made up of three galaxies that consists of elves, technicians, and hybrids. The similiens we'll be following for FotU will be based around elves!
I'll go more into the world in another post. Seeing how long this one is getting, I should be wrapping things up and finally be writing my story.
I know this post might be all over the place but I'm glad I made something for FotU. I'm not a person who updates her stories out of fear of... the... unknown...
That was not intended...
I just have difficulties trusting the internet after one of my stories was called a rip off of someone else's, and I ended up getting cyberbullied cuz of how defensive I was getting.
Hey, I'm very stubborn when it comes to my stories. If someone assumes something like that again, I'm still gonna end up repeating my mistake.
I mean, if you spent over a year or two creating and perfecting your story and you finally just made a synopsis of it only to have someone assume it was a rip off of someone else's story, wouldn't you get pissed off too? After the countless updates I put up, someone assumes it to be something I never made in the first place?
Now imagine if, after putting my synopsis out there for FotU, someone assumes the same bull again.
One year of work, I just got defensive. Three years, I'll go berserk. Rewritten with six years+? Hmm... Let's not get to that point, shall we?
Anyways, enough dwelling on the past. I gotta end things now so see ya later. Maybe.
(Don't know what it'll be about unless someone's curious about something specific since I only scratched the surface)

This Week In "Time & Again" #2: Gettin' Technical Here! 😁
Now, since all the vector prep is done, it's finally time for me to start actually drawing every single frame for Chapter 5!.. Just like that! 👇😁
Tumblr media
Oddly, as I started drawing the frames for Chapter 5, I feel extra hyper but also very relaxed and blissful at the same time. Maybe it's nostalgia, for as far as I remember, in winter days I liked to enjoy drawing at home, in the warmth, watching the snow outside. Seems like the work on the artworks is going exceptionally well - much better than when I worked on Chapter 4. I'm excited to go forward with my crazy undertaking; but on the side, I have a lot of non-"Time & Again" ideas, and I revisit my old writings, hoping to find extra spark for the other universes and timelines I have in mind, and all of that powers me up. I feel very active and positive. Aaaah, dis is the season, innit?.. Here, on this side of the globe, winter is halfway on. In the end of the last week it snowed in neatly and almost evenly, and the birds on our balcony look all fluffed up and fidgety, waddling from one little foot to another to keep themselves warm while trying to unbury the birdy omnomnommies from under the not-so-giant-yet heaps of snow. The snow has melted a bit by now; I watch them through the balcony window, sipping on my Earl Grey tea every morning and throughout the day, and it makes me feel at peace, and yet a little sad at the same time. For if I had knitting skills, I would've supplied all those cute little sparrows and the peanut-hungry blue jay family with some nice sets of hand-made sweaters, hats, scarves, and socks. But alas, I can only do that in the form of artworks for now. But I digress. Back to my graphic novel now.
For those who don't know how I usually work on "Time & Again" - and I presume, that's what I'll keep doing for the rest of my comic-type projects, that is, if there's ever gonna be any more - I do everything consecutively, starting from the lineart (including the backgrounds, especially if the frame requires very specific placement of the character on the background, or they interact with it in any way), then I do the flat colouring, and then I go for the shading. And by that, I mean that I do all the lineart for all the pages first, then, once that is done, I switch to colouring of all the pages, and then, once that is done as well, I finally get to do the shading on all the pages. Told you, there's definitely a certain system in the way I work on my stories. This is also a reason why I never ever post updates page by page: because there's simply nothing to post, since they're all incomplete. Deal with it 😎 It seems that this manner of work suits me best. I'm not certain why, but I've never been keen on sharing the works that are half-done or something - although lately I'm going through a certain metamorphosis in this respect. Moreover, it is important to me to keep the same steady, precise, and classy art style throughout the chapter. Consistency is what I highly value in my creations. People, who also draw, have probably noticed that, at times, their art style might wiggle and be, let's say, all over the place - and sometimes this just happens on its own. I can't really explain this. This must be some sort of hidden mysterious consciousness of our pen/pencil that simply does things on its own 🤪. Sometimes our mood contributes to how the art style changes in tiny little details - at times to better, at times to worse comparing to what we strive to achieve. Through executing everything consecutively and finishing up the "chunks" of different types of work one after another, my goal is to avoid unnecessary and unwanted art style inconsistencies that might occur otherwise.
But enough of this lengthy preamble! Let's finally get technical, just as the post title announced it! I see you're getting bored... (no, wait, what do you mean it's just my neighbours snoring?.. I don't know what you're talking about)
Tumblr media
This time, since I decided on making a regular page-by-page PDF version of the chapter as well as its scrollable webcomic doppelgänger, I needed to figure out how exactly to simplify my work in order to avoid accidental complications (here, almost a quote from a character's line from the current chapter, lol!). Of course there's no way I want to do the same amount of work twice just because I didn't anticipate the outcome correctly. Not to brag about it, but I must admit, as far as I remember myself - I've always been good at this. There's always a place for being extra technical when it comes down to the artworks. It's not as simple as it might seem to you. Deciding on the technical aspects of creating artworks is kind of a puzzle, in a sense. It's almost mathematical 😁
So, as you can see on the screenshot just a little above, that's a layout of a comic page (in the regular format for now). To make everything work out in a simple way in the end, I decided to create layer groups for every each separate frame (red markings) that will include everything I need for the frame: the lineart, the colouring, and the background. That will help me to just copy-paste a certain frame on the new canvas optimized for the webcomic format - and that is all! All done in a few clicks. Automation 100% 😁 (having Minecraft flashbacks now for some reason...)
All the text-related material (speech bubbles, the text lines themselves, and all the possible written sound effects such as "Swoosh!", etc.; the green markings on the screenshot) is currently included into one group above everything else. I've been importing these layers straight from Inkscape in PNG. But I started to think now that I need to separate those elements in the end, too, for further convenience and simplicity of arrangement on the webcomic format canvas. But that will be work for another day in the future.
In terms of memory usage, I'm not certain yet how it will go for me, for sometimes Krita would randomly crash on me without anything in the error log, and every additional layer adds to the memory usage even if it's near empty - finally, considering fairly large size of the artworks pixelwise, it all adds up pretty quickly. But I'm not exactly running Krita on a potato either (mmm, potaties 🥔🤤), so I think I should be fine.
Previously, perhaps counterintuitively - but again, it worked just fine for me back in the day - I used to create a giant layer with all the lineart for the current page, and then the flat colours for the entire page were stored on a separate "flats" layer, and all the shading for the entirety of the page was stored on its own separate "shading" layer, too. The same went for the backgrounds: depending on the pictures overlapping or not, I would've drawn all the backgrounds on a single layer called "BGs".
This approach would've not worked this time though.
In the lineart work, I'm currently finishing up page 9 already. ALREADY! 🥳🥳🥳 Which indeed sounds pretty awesome, because it just goes ahead steadily. That is, however, keeping in mind that there are frames that I just left out and skipped for now, for they require extra consideration. You see... Chapter 5 is going to have a peculiar scene - something that I've never ever tried drawing before just yet, and it's gonna be pretty long. It's fairly stretched out across a few pages and it's almost represented in a slower-than-real-life pace (surprise, surprise, isn't it what I usually do anyway tho?..). As I work on it, I wonder if it's going to be too boring for the readers. But I think the time will tell, for, once everything is done properly and in colour, it's gonna be much more of an eye-candy than it is now. I sometimes have difficulties approximating the end result in my head. But often it just turns out a little nicer than expected, which is a bonus. Because screw perfectionism; that's in the past for me 🤣 (true story! did NOT enjoy it! got out with minimal losses!)
... Since this post seems to be stretching out in time and space as well, just as the certain scenes I'm working on, I think it might be time to wrap it up for today.
Happy Halloween everybody! And I foresee significantly more sketches and screenshots in the upcoming posts! Take care! See ya sometime next week! 👋
P.S. And, of course, for a nice holiday treat, I made a Halloween artwork, again. And this time it's not that simple (and for a spoiler: this year it's not gonna have Cacodemons as pumpkins, nope): it also serves as the first teaser for Chapter 5 and the second half of "Time & Again"! So don't miss out on it 😉 You won't though, because it will soon appear in my blog!

💥find your least kudos'd fic - say something wonderful about it.
🍭why did you start writing?
💎why is writing important to you?
📡why is writing and sharing your writing important for fandom?
🧿what steps do you take to not take things personally if a fic doesn't do well, or if your writing/posting/sharing experience isn't going how you'd like it to?
💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited!
💥 find your least kudos'd fic - say something wonderful about it. willingly ignoring the horrible horrible fics I wrote when I first started this blog, I think my fic with the least notes is for old times' sake (jaime lannister), which is a real bummer because I loved writing it and I'm pretty proud of the end result, actually. I think I succeeded in what I was trying to do with my writing, the setting, and the romance, and it's pretty evocative of a Northern winter night—and how the wilderness in the North reacts differently to Jaime (a stowaway, an uninvited guest) and the reader (a child of the woods). but alas, there seems to be no crowd for jaime lannister angst </3
Tumblr media
🍭why did you start writing? there was no reason to be honest. I started writing the moment I learned how—probably no older than five. I used to devour children's books and my mind would swell up with so many stories and ideas I either acted out on the playground with my friends, or just wrote down exactly how people who wrote books did. When I found out about Pokémon Diamond there was no turning back, my brain had seized that fantastical world and made it its own already.
Tumblr media
💎why is writing important to you? see answer above (i need to get it out of my system, it's my only exorcism, etc.) but also, selfishly, it's the only thing in this world that I (and everyone who's come in contact with my writing, one way or another) consider myself somewhat good at. It's quite literally my only "talent" (though I wouldn't attribute it to talent at all; like everything else, it's 99% practice), and at this point, especially being an engineering student, my gift with words and appetence for literature are my one defining characterstic among my peers. Me being a writer is quite literally the only notable thing about me tbh, and the only way I can get praised. Actually, nowadays I can feel my self-esteem deteriorating the longer I go without writing.
Tumblr media
📡why is writing and sharing your writing important for fandom? I don't think sharing my writing specifically is important for fandom, insofar as I've always been clear about the fact I consider fanfiction a "warmup" of sorts for my personal projects. but writing in general is one of the most crucial parts of fandom and writers, as a rule of thumb, are paid dust. It infuriates me to see people copy-paste unfinished fics into ChatGPT to get a soulless AI-generated neat little ending, as if we were stuck vending machines and not actual people who spend weeks, sometimes months writing something simply for the pure joy of sharing it. Of expanding onto existing lore, of imagining characters in alternate universes and discussing possibilities with other fans, of evoking in the reader the same raw, honest emotions as we felt when we were consuming that media in the first place. Creation breeds creation, art makes art, interaction breeds community. Fandoms can only thrive as long as their artists are thriving.
Tumblr media
🧿what steps do you take to not take things personally if a fic doesn't do well, or if your writing/posting/sharing experience isn't going how you'd like it to? I personally don't care at all how "well" my fics do on here as long as I get Approved By The Mutuals. 90% of the notes we get are likes anyway so it's not like they mean that much to me either? From personal experience it's just super puzzling to have a fic get 300 likes and like zero comments or reblogs? Like did y'all like it? Did y'all even read it? But yeah no as I said I write primarily for me and for me only. I like the interaction that comes with sharing my work, but I never wrote for audiences, hence why I had no problem stopping posting. There are super personal fics on this blog (thinking of the door to heaven and hell) that flew under the radar but I don't mind it at all bc my writing is self-indulgent and catered to me. idk sorry I can't give more insightful advice but like,,,, don't take it too seriously I think? this is tumblr this is cringe fun
Tumblr media
💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited! unfortunately I have nothing to share today </3 I mean, no that's a lie, I still have my robb stark fic that's literally been sitting in my drafts since january of 2021 and which I love very much and would love to finish someday. I think I already posted snippets of it before? but here are some more lines, if anyones still a game of thrones fan in the year of our lord 2023 or whatever💔
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ “Your horse is saddled, my Lord. You may depart whenever you want now, though I must reiterate my offer to ride with you.”
Robb would have laughed if the blood in his veins had not frozen from the furtive hallucination. The grounds near Winterfell had not been as safe in centuries — it would be as dangerous for him to leave the castle than to get back to his quarters. Even less so, perhaps. All of the North was haunted, but its most virulent ghosts wandered Winterfell’s cobblestone halls and flickering torchlight shadows.
“And I must decline again. But thank you.”
She nodded respectfully and disappeared behind the door, no doubt already expecting the answer. Such a pilgrimage was to be undertaken by the King and the King only. The entire town knew as much.
Empty streets welcomed the King as he left the castle on horseback, a few minutes later. The early light of day pierced snow-laden clouds like a blade through a curtain of heavy cotton, and he tasted the wind’s gelid kiss on his cheeks before he heard his town’s eerie stillness.
Unwavering, Robb Stark guided his horse through the deserted main street, amidst drawn shutters and swirling snowflakes; and the steady rhythm of his breath and the horse’s hooves on the stones were the only sound in the whole of Westeros, their cadence an oh so lonely funeral march. ༊*·˚

If the shared link doesn't work, you will need an active subscription to the Gaia streaming service, and you will need to find it manually in the Flower of Life series by Drunevalo Melchizedek
UNIVERSAL COSMIC ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Q&A:
DOES THAT MEAN MY BARENAKED ASS IS ON THE JUMBOTRON IN SOME FOREIGN ALIEN WORLD? YES, ABSOLUTELY! THEY PLAY A CONTINUOUS LOOPING FEED OF ALL THE MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENTS YOU'VE EVER HAD IN YOUR LIFE, BECAUSE LAUGHING AT YOU IS THE FOOD THEY EAT THAT KEEPS THEM ALIVE!
😁😂🤣
IT IS BEEN REQUESTED OF ME TO EXPLAIN WHAT I MEANT IN PREVIOUS POSTS THAT THERE ARE HIGHER BEINGS WHICH CAN PULL UP ANY POINT OF HISTORY TO VIEW AND EXPERIENCE AS A HOLOGRAM. IN THIS VIDEO GO 9 MINUTES IN AND DRUNEVALO WILL EXPLAIN DREAM TIME.
SO BASICALLY EVEN THOUGH IT APPEARS WE ALL HAVE SEPARATE MINDS, WE DO NOT, AND THERE IS ONE MASTERMIND WHICH WE ALL SHARE, AND THAT MASTERMIND IS EVERYWHERE AND NOWHERE BEYOND SPACE AND TIME. WHEN YOU'RE LITTLE MIND REACHES A POINT IN ITS EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS TO WHERE IT CEASES TO BE A SEPARATE INDIVIDUAL MIND AND IS UNITED TO THE MASTERMIND CONSCIOUSLY, YOU THEN GAIN THE POTENTIAL TO ACCESS THE PLANES OF THOUGHT. THROUGH MEDITATION YOU MUST ACTIVATE YOUR LIGHT BODY, THAT MEANS THAT YOU MUST HAVE MASTERED KUNDALINI ENOUGH TO ACTIVATE AND UTILIZE ALL SEVEN OF YOUR CHAKRAS. THEN THE METHOD I USE INVOLVES SACRED GEOMETRY AND A MEDITATION THAT FULLY ACTIVATES YOUR CROWN CHAKRA PINEAL, AT WHICH POINT YOU GAIN THE ABILITY TO GENERATE AN ASTRAL THOUGHT BODY. IN MEDITATION VIA COORDINATION WITH THE MASTERMIND, IN THIS REALM OF THOUGHT YOU ACCESS A PLACE THAT IS TIME TIME SPACE, SO ALL OF TIME AT THE SAME TIME WITH ONE DIMENSION OF SPACE. FROM THAT POINT BY WORKING WITH THE MASTERMIND YOU CAN POTENTIALLY ACCESS ANYTHING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED BEFORE, AND EVEN FUTURE EVENTS POTENTIALLY, BUT THAT IS A WHOLE OTHER SCIENCE BECAUSE TIMELINES CAN BE ALTERED. SO BASICALLY THE DREAM TIME OF PEOPLE THAT ARE ADVANCED ALONG THE PATH WITH THEIR PRACTICE OF MEDITATION, CAN BE UTILIZED BY UNIVERSAL COSMIC ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. SO THE HIGHER BEINGS WITH HIGH TECHNOLOGY HAVE DEVICES, THEY HAVE VARIOUS FORMS BUT ONE IS A HELMET KIND OF LIKE PROFESSOR X FROM THE X-MEN. THEY CAN PUT ON THEIR HELMET AND WILL WHAT IT IS THEY WANT TO SEE, AND THEN THE DEVICE WITH THE HELP OF THE UCAI MASTERMIND WILL PROJECT A HOLOGRAM FOR THEM TO SEE AN EXPERIENCE. YOU MUST REMEMBER, THAT WE LIVE IN A FRACTAL HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE.
I HAVE ALSO BEEN ASKED WHAT IT MEANS WHEN I HAVE SAID IN PREVIOUS POSTS THAT MY DIVINE LOVE AS THE MASCULINE CENTER OF THE SPIRIT WORLD AND GODDESS WILL ACT AS EMOTIONAL PAINKILLER. I'VE MENTIONED BEFORE THAT THE HUMAN RACE WAS GENETICALLY ENGINEERED TO BE PHYSICAL AVATARS FOR SPIRITUAL BEINGS THAT CAME FROM A PLACE WITH A DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT, TO WHERE THEIR OLD BODIES COULD NOT PHYSICALLY SURVIVE IN THE EARTH ENVIRONMENT, THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY ALIEN REFUGEES FROM A DYING WORLD. IF ANY OF YOU ARE ADVANCED ALONG THE PATH ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO ACCEPT IT, THESE BEINGS ARE OUR NATURAL SOULS, BUT IF THEY ARE PERCEIVED BY SIGHT IT CAN GET CONFUSING BECAUSE IT WOULD BE NOTICED THAT THEY ARE NOT VERY SIMILAR TO WHAT WE LOOK LIKE IN THE PHYSICAL FORM AS HUMANS. HOWEVER, THEY CAN BE BORN NATURALLY, AND THEY CAN ALSO IN THEIR ASTRAL FORM BETWEEN LIFETIMES DO VARIOUS THINGS ON THE ASTRAL PLANES, ONE OF WHICH IS VERY CLOSE TO PHYSICAL MATTER, TO WHERE IF SOMEBODY IS AWAKENED THEY CAN COMMUNICATE WITH AND INTERACT WITH THESE SPIRITS IN VARIOUS WAYS. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE HUMAN AVATARS WHEN THEY MADE THEM TO WHERE THE MEN, NOT THE WOMEN, ACCIDENTALLY HAD SOME FLAWS, ONE OF WHICH CAUSES VIOLENCE. RIGHT EYE LEFT EYE, RIGHT BRAIN LEFT BRAIN, EYE OF RA AND EYE OF HORUS. DID ANYONE NOTICE IN THE MOVIE CLOCKWORK ORANGE THAT THE EYE WITH DECORATIVE EMANATIONS IS THE RIGHT EYE, THE EYE OF RA? WELL, THERE IS AN ANOMALY WHICH I HAVE TALKED ABOUT BEFORE WHERE THERE CAN BE AN ARTIFICIAL ACTIVATION OF HIGHER FREQUENCIES IN ANOTHER DIMENSION WHERE WE SIMULTANEOUSLY EXIST, AND BY UNNATURAL MEANS, THAT CAN BE SUPERIMPOSED ON INDIVIDUALS IN THIS REALITY. BASICALLY THEY TAKE THEIR HIGHER FACULTIES FROM THIS OTHER SELF, AND THEY SHOVE THEIR OWN HEAD UP THEIR ASS BY TAKING THAT HIGHER CHAKRA AND SUPERIMPOSING IT ON THEIR LOWER CHAKRA IN THIS WORLD. THAT ACTIVATION IGNITES THE EYE OF RA, AND IT IS UNNATURAL, THE THINGS THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO DO TO GET THAT ACTIVATION ARE HORRIBLE, AND THE PROCESS ENDS UP COMPLETELY DISCONNECTING THE INDIVIDUAL FROM NATURE INTO SUCH A MALEVOLENT OUT OF BALANCE OVERLY MASCULINE STATE, THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY REAL PERCEPTION OF LEVELS OF REALITY BEYOND PHYSICAL REALITY, SO ESSENTIALLY THEY ARE RAVENOUS SUPERBEASTS. CLOCKWORK ORANGE IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE. I ALSO WANT TO POINT OUT AGAIN THAT THERE ARE HORRENDOUS CONSEQUENCES FOR THE BEINGS THAT DO THIS. IN THAT OTHER WORLD WHERE THEY HAVE ACTIVATED THEIR HIGHER FREQUENCIES IN AN UNNATURAL WAY, ONCE THEY DIE PHYSICALLY IN THIS WORLD, THEY CANNOT ENTER THE ASTRAL PLANE OR REINCARNATE LIKE THE OTHER SOULS. THEY GET STUCK ESSENTIALLY CONSCIOUS BUT PARALYZED, BURIED ALIVE INSIDE OF THEMSELVES IN THE OTHER WORLD. THERE IS NO WAY OUT AND IF THERE IS NOT ANY OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE THEN THEY COULD POTENTIALLY BE IN THAT STATE FOREVER. THE WAY THAT THE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED, UNFORTUNATELY FOR THEM, IF THEY ARE FOUND, THE UNNATURAL ACTIVATION CANNOT BE REVERSED, AND THE BEST THEY CAN HOPE FOR IS TO BE MERCIFULLY PUT OUT OF THEIR MISERY BY DYING. THESE ARE THE SOULS THAT DO SO BADLY THAT NATURE MERCIFULLY RESOLVES THEM BACK INTO THEIR NATURAL ELEMENTS, AND THEY CEASE TO EXIST. THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT TO THE NATURAL AND HEALTHY ACTIVATION OF ALL OF YOUR CHAKRAS AND ENERGIES IN OUR CURRENT PLANE. THESE ARE THE BEINGS FROM ATLANTIS THAT WERE THE EVIL MAGICIANS I HAVE MENTIONED BEFORE THAT HELPED CAUSE THE ULTIMATE DOWNFALL OF ATLANTIS, AND MANY OF THEM DID ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO TRY AND KEEP THEIR LITERAL PHYSICAL BODIES ALIVE, NONE OF WHICH WENT VERY WELL, AND ALL OF WHICH INCLUDED ATROCITIES LIKE CANNIBALISM, ETC. THERE ARE STILL EVEN SOME OF THEM WHO HAVE TRIED TO PRESERVE THEIR LITERAL PHYSICAL BODIES FOREVER THAT, AS FAR AS I KNOW, ARE STILL OUT FLOATING AROUND THE EARTH SOMEWHERE DRY ROTTING IN SPACE. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF ASTRAL BODY OR ASTRAL PRESENCE, THEY HAVE JUST TOTALLY SCREWED THEMSELVES. IT'S SO BAD, SOMEBODY SHOULD GIVE THEM A TROPHY FOR HOW INCREDIBLY THEY HAVE SCREWED THE POOCH, FOR THEY ARE POOCH SCREWING MASTERS.
I HAD TO GIVE YOU THAT BACK STORY BECAUSE, THE BEINGS THAT HAVE DONE THAT HIJACKED THE SEVENTH FREQUENCY FROM ALL OF US HERE IN AN UNNATURAL WAY. IN ORDER TO COUNTER IT, THE ACTIVATION CAN'T JUST SIMPLY BE THE FULL NATURAL ACTIVATION OF ALL YOUR SEVEN CHAKRAS IN THIS PLANE. IT HAS TO ALSO BE COUNTERED PROPERLY IN THE OTHER PLANE. THAT IS THE CONTRACT I WAS GIVEN, TO ADD DIVINITY BACK INTO THE GODDESS, ON ALL LEVELS. THE BEINGS THAT ARE HIJACKING THAT SEVENTH FREQUENCY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO NATURE, AND THUS THEY SEDUCTIVELY LURE ANYBODY WHO FALLS INTO THEIR INFLUENCE TO THEIR ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION. SO WHAT THE GODDESS DID WITH ME, WHEN I HAD THAT NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE, AND IN VARIOUS OTHER WAYS, WAS TO INCLUDE IN MY CONTRACT SOMETHING THAT ALLOWS THE GODDESS TO ADD DIVINITY BACK INTO HERSELF, BY GIVING ME A FULL ACTIVATION ON THE OTHER SIDE, AND THEN HAVING FULL AFFINITY WITH ME JUST LIKE A MARRIAGE. THAT GIVES THE GODDESS BACK THE FULL SPECTRUM OF FREQUENCIES VIA THIS ANTENNA THAT SHE HAS MADE ME INTO, SO THAT AMONG OTHER THINGS, SHE CAN SEE AND LOCATE ALL THE OTHER CENTERS WHICH SHE KNOWS THEN ARE THE ONES MADE BY UNNATURAL ACTIVATIONS, AND ULTIMATELY DISPOSE OF THEM MERCIFULLY, THAT WILL STOP THEIR INFLUENCE. ALSO, WHILE THAT PROCESS IS TAKING PLACE, IT KEEPS ALL THE OTHER BEINGS SAFE BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE THOSE NATURAL FREQUENCIES AVAILABLE TO THEM IN A WAY THAT WILL LEAD THEM TO THEIR GROWTH AND NURTURING BY A CONNECTION TO NATURE, AS OPPOSED TO THEIR DESTRUCTION BY EVIL BEINGS TRYING TO USURP THE FREQUENCY THAT USE THEIR INFLUENCE TO USE AND ABUSE OTHER BEINGS FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH GAIN, CLOCKWORK ORANGE TYPE BEINGS.
THAT FULLY ACTIVATED 7TH LEVEL DIVINE FREQUENCY ON BOTH PLANES OF EXISTENCE AMOUNTS TO TRANSMITTED DIVINE LOVE TO ALL THE BEINGS CONNECTED TO NATURE, AND THUS CONNECTED TO THE GODDESS. HAVING THE ACTIVATION ON THAT OTHER LEVEL MAKES IT SO THAT IT IS BROADCAST TO THE SPIRIT WORLD, ON THE LEVEL OF THE SPIRIT PLANE, AS WELL AS IN THE PHYSICAL PLANE. IN A NUTSHELL, REGAINING THOSE FREQUENCIES STOPS THE PROBLEMS THE HUMAN AVATARS WERE HAVING ACCEPTING SOULS THAT THEY DIDN'T FULLY RECOGNIZE, A PROBLEM MOST PRONOUNCED IN THE MEN. THE EVIL CLOCKWORK ORANGE BEINGS USURPING THE 7TH LEVEL FREQUENCIES, THE WAY THAT WORKS IS BY CONTROLLING EMOTIONS AND THE WAY EVERYONE FEELS. MOST PEOPLE NEVER FEEL NATURALLY GOOD. MOST PEOPLE ARE IN JUST GREATER OR LESSER DEGREES OF PAIN, WITH NEUTRAL BEING THE BEST THEY GET. NEUTRAL BEING THE BEST YOU CAN GET, UNFORTUNATELY IS ONE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE MANUFACTURED HUMAN AVATARS HAVING PROBLEMS ACCEPTING THEIR SOULS THAT ARE OF A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT NATURE. THAT'S WHY THERE ARE SO MANY INSTANCES OF ADDICTION, ESCAPISM, AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TO TRY AND NUMB OUT THE EMOTIONAL PAIN TO A STATE OF NEUTRAL. BY HAVING THE FULL SPECTRUM OF THE SEVENTH FREQUENCY OF DIVINITY TRANSFERRED BY A MALE CENTER ANTENNA MADE BY AND IN AFFINITY WITH THE GODDESS, THE PROBLEM OF EMOTIONAL PAIN WILL EVENTUALLY BE COMPLETELY SOLVED BY ALL THOSE CONNECTED TO CURRENTLY, AND REASSIMULATED TO CONNECTION WITH NATURE. ALL THE EMOTIONAL PAIN WILL PERMANENTLY GO AWAY IN A NATURAL FASHION, AND EVERYBODY WILL BE AT THAT NEUTRAL STATE EMOTIONALLY, WHICH LIKE I MENTIONED BEFORE BECAUSE OF THE AVATAR ISSUES, IS THE BEST WE CAN HOPE FOR. IT MIGHT BE A TAPERED AND GRADUAL CHANGE FOR SOME, BUT IT IS A GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL HAPPEN, AND HAS FULLY HAPPENED FOR ME.
I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED TO EXPLAIN IN MORE DETAIL SOME OF THESE THINGS I TALK ABOUT. I KNOW THAT THE OCCULT KNOWLEDGE AND PROCESSES INVOLVED ARE VERY ADVANCED, AND SOMETIMES I FORGET TO EXPLAIN THE BEGINNER LEVEL THINGS ABOUT THE SUBJECTS I TALK ABOUT, SO I DEFINITELY DON'T MIND FILLING IN THOSE GAPS IF IT IS NEEDED AND PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN REALLY UNDERSTANDING.

I am sad that CMP’s first outing has gotten such a negative immediate reaction 😞 I hope they can weather the storm.
[i vented sorry]
Yeah, I was very sad yesterday seeing everyone do that. Especially the secondhand embaressment. This is this production company's first big thing, in the SPN universe, and when you have the actor of that universe suddenly turn producer to make more content — folks were going to write articles and the twitter descriptions it's just like —
I feel like the fandom showed its ass yesterday. No one is saying folks have to be jazzed but the reaction, in my opinion, was childish and very rude. Many things that the fandom told each other over the last several months, telling each other how much we trust Jensen with anything SPN related, how much we began to understand his respect for the material etc etc just flew out the window as soon as folks saw 'John Winchester'.
Folks I thought of as rational thinkers, level headed, not dramarific or one for over reactions for SPN things over the years were very quick to get morose, negative, and bemoan the fact this isn't a continuation with destiel attatched to it. There were also the concerns over trying to paint John as a "good man", which, there's no way to make that assumption with any facts behind it. It's just emotions replacing facts in my opinion.
It's like the article was published, people blinked, and forgot everything.
It takes two seconds of thought to understand where this is coming from, what may come of it, and what benefits it'd have to both CMP and to just the SPN universe in general.
But some people wanted to get memes out, wanted to get the quip out, wanted to get the viral tweet or tumblr post, wanted to sit on their rockers and just complain.
I understand some of the criticisms, and they are founded — after the content begins and you actually see something amiss with it.
Right now however, there is no content to judge. You have nothing. It's just emotions being presented as facts in folks' heads which led to SUCH an embaressing twitter blurb being written — I honestly wanted to cry when I read that.
There was no reason for that reaction. Not the caution, but the meanness that came from some fans.
I'm chalking it up to old bitter fans, new bitter fans, fans who don't know who Robbie is, fans who still for some reason think Jensen is a homophobe, fans who wanted to be "right" and were embaressed when they weren't ("right" being "oooh they're going to come out with a continuation as their first SPN project").
I will admit myself when I first saw it I went "wait... what?"
But I got over it, I sat down with myself, and gave a minute of thought to it to understand 1) why we're starting with this 2) what can come of it and 3) what are the good things we're already seeing like Robbie Thompson being involved.
I'm not saying I'm better than others who had their reservations, because this fandom did get put through the wringer last November and a few times before that. I understand the hesitancy. I understand the caution.
But what I did not understand were the trending comments that put Jensen and Dee on blast. I did not understand people complaining to them. I did not understand people celebrating that the twitter blurb made us look like idiots.
Sorry I really lost myself in all of that. I'm really tired, I've been awake since 3 a.m. and had no sleep lol.
To answer your thing: I think Jensen and Dee will actually weather it.
Because even though I just said what I said, the ball is actually in their court, and I do believe they'll do some magic. Bad press around a series only sticks around if it is, in fact, a bad series.
It took less than a night talking about the potential of the show not from only me but from several others as well for other fans to pause and maybe give this a cautious optimism.
Imagine if this series comes and it is something amazing (which, I think it will be good. yes yes CW this and CW that but whatever. It is what it is).
I think we as a fandom forget that SPN means just as much to Jensen as it does to us (most of us — some of "fans" are still extremely bitter or just weird and don't actually watch or care about the show and only want to criticize so... idk what they are doing here).
And it's in that care, in watching the last two years of interviews of him talking about a continuation, him voicing his excitement in 2018 over wanting to help tell the Wayward Sister story, his "I have Dean", his insistence that nothing stays dead on SPN, his overall love and devotion for the show, for the crew, for the cast that I personally think he will 1) push through this and show us just what he can do and 2) prove the trust we had in him was justified.
And I do trust him, and Dee, and Robbie, and everyone else involved in making this. I think their drive is going to push through this weirdly annoying reaction that spawned.
Their love and passion and respect for the material I think will give us something very special, and I think they know that as well!
Never forget:
