21 - a kiss on a place of insecurity - junglehook

Two days ago, Jack lost again, and so here they are, training.

Jack is on his back, panting heavily, chest and stomach heaving with breaths, arms and legs thrown to the sides, his whole body flushed red with exertion. He threw his shirt off a while ago, and his skin is shiny with sweat. He runs one hand through his hair, takes an inhale that shudders more than he'd probably like it to, and then rubs that hand over his face for just a beat too long.

Hook sits next to him on his knees, trying to get his own breathing back under control, watching. Bending over, he leans down and presses his lips to Jack's stomach. It stills under the touch immediately, like Hook froze him with what's barely more than a feather's touch. If either of them are blushing, it's impossible to tell.

"You'll get it," Hook says quietly, sitting up and holding Jack's wide gaze. "I know you will."
