it really does suck a little to see the severe likes-to-reblogs ratio that happens so often on people’s work like i get for my edits they’re either niche or mediocre and i get that going in but if it still bothers me a bit then i can only imagine how frustrating and hurtful it is for people who genuinely want and need the engagement, who are genuine artists and creators.

like, seriously, is it THAT hard just to hit the reblog button? it’s literally right next to the like one. and i get that people like mobile tumblr more now (for some batty reason), but it still doesn’t take much effort. just two taps. so?? just reblog people’s work if you actually like it, bc we all know you’re not liking it to keep it on hand to interact with later.

One of my favorite things about the deep is how much we don’t know. We only really get scraps of what’s down there.

Like giant squids! The first live-recording of one was when it was found stuck on a boat :/ And the rest of the specimens we have were found dead. But it makes it even cooler! Imagine seeing a thriVING giant squid! Those mfs are huge! Their eyes are as big as dinner plates! Their tentacles can reach 33 feet! I don't know but it bother me when some white cis LGBTQIA+ person said that straight couples are boring and downplayed it, because yeah, there is a lot WHITE straight couples on the media.

the sheer amount of hate ive gotten 4 the simple choice of making like. 2 ben 10 characters fatter than normal is astounding to me. like ive been getting asks like this since the first time i drew ben 10k as anything more than a shrinkwrapped bodybuilder

and now that i draw kevin chubby im getting people digging through the archives of my art to look for any semblance of him skinnier than normal and telling me he looks better that way

and this has all happened more than once. like what is your guy's problem? it's not realistic for them to both be shrinkwrapped or whatever, ben has the fat gene from his dad and grandpa max and kevin doesnt have time to work out the normal way and he needs to pad himself out bc of the gaps between when he can find his next meal, plus actually strong ppl in real life are fatter bc you need some padding on your muscles, bodybuilder muscles r literally just for show. 'oh but its fantasy' well this is MY fantasy, what makes it so different from canon? theirs literally no reason to be pressed that i draw characters fatter besides fatphobia, and even if you dont like it dont fucking comment it on my posts!! i swear to god you guys are assholes. im drawing more fat people just to spite you
