Mycolancer's Magic Mushroom Tea
I'm always talking about mushroom tea, so I made a recipe for you all to enjoy! You can soak the 6g of mushroom powder in lemon juice for 15 minutes before stirring in the steeped tea, or experiment with this recipe as is. Be sure to strain out the powder in a cheese cloth before consuming, or keep the powder in a fine mesh tea bag.
Ingredients:
6 grams of dried magic mushrooms (for four servings at 1.5 grams each) I recommend Golden Teacher, not something super potent like Tidal Wave.
4 cups of water
4 herbal tea bags (e.g., ginger, lemon, or chamomile for flavor)
4 slices of fresh ginger
4 slices of lemon
Honey or sweetener to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the magic mushrooms: Start by ensuring that the dried magic mushrooms are properly dried and crumbled into a fine powder. You can use a coffee grinder for this. Divide the powdered mushrooms into four equal portions, with each portion containing 1.5 grams.
Boil the water: In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil. You can add the fresh ginger slices to the water at this point to add some extra flavor.
Steep the herbal tea: Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the herbal tea bags. You can choose a flavor that complements the earthy taste of mushrooms, such as ginger, lemon, or chamomile. Let the tea steep for about 5-10 minutes.
Remove the tea bags: After the tea has steeped, remove the herbal tea bags and discard them. If you added fresh ginger slices, you can also remove them at this point.
Add the mushroom powder: While the tea is still hot, add one portion of the powdered magic mushrooms to each cup of tea. Stir well to ensure the mushroom powder is evenly distributed.
Flavor and sweeten (optional): You can add a slice of lemon or a drizzle of honey to each cup to further mask the mushroom flavor and enhance the taste. Adjust the amount of sweetener to your preference.
Let it cool: Allow the tea to cool down to a comfortable drinking temperature.
Enjoy: Serve the magic mushroom tea in mugs or cups. Sip it slowly and savor the flavor while being mindful of the effects.
Remember to consume magic mushrooms responsibly, start with a low dose, and be in a safe and comfortable environment when doing so. Also, be aware of the legal status of magic mushrooms in your area.
